#tloz#princess zelda#link#assumedly?#botw#totk#technically#loz redesigns round 2#the first great calamity#the ancient heroes aspect#the ancient heroās aspect#art#my art#redesign#listen this is probably the one and only time ill draw something furry so if it looks a bit wonky i dont really care lmao#this is one of the few designs where im Under designing one of the characters#ie the heroes aspect is such a messy design#i went of the mural a little bit more for the coloring so a little more orangey red involved in his design#and also changing his face to look a little less offputting#and the greener looking eyes from the mural#the darker fur also helps the teal pop#but yes i made his armor a little less zonai-y and a tad more guardian inspired?#i didnt take away all the zonai vibes because heās seemingly related to them somehow#i do wish we had a timeline for how long after rauru sealed ganon that this calamity happened#but oh well#but yeah uh zelda#vaguely based on sonia#thats pretty much all i have to say about her lmao#i used more neutrals on her dress to semi emulate the pure white of the mural#while also bringing in more of those sheikah tech colors

i really donāt think itās ātypical dragon age fandom nonsenseā for people to be genuinely upset about the world state choices. combat, level design, art direction, gameplay gimmicks, those have all varied across each dragon age game. the one thing thatās remained constant are nods to our previous choices.
i wasnāt expecting my HoF to come riding in on a griffon, but i canāt find a monument dedicated to warden tabris somewhere around the anderfels? lucanis couldnāt have some lines about the time that one arainai boy was stirring up trouble in antiva city? youāre gonna tell me that making a mage the new divine wouldnāt have some impact on nevarra and antiva? on the anderfels, the supposed most devout militant andrastian nation in thedas? youāre saying nobody in the north is paying attention to who rules orlais or ferelden? come on.

Maybe itās because I just spent the last four days watching my sisterās toddlers while mildly sleep deprived, but I gotta say Peri has PEAK ļæ½ļæ½ļæ½childfree young adult who was the youngest person in their family naively volunteers to watch recalcitrant child assuming theyād automatically be The Cool Adult Relative only to realize they have no idea how to balance being indulgent with being responsible and gets overwhelmed within five minutesā energy

I did start this whole blog with the dreams of one day being able to draw better equines. So Yes. I did need this.#The true benchmark of my art progress is actually the quality of how I draw Little Apple.#(no seriously go look back at my little apple tag. Then come back here).#Hey welcome back! I know right! What was I even doing at the start? That was *not* a donkey!!!#That aside - I really am thrilled that I can draw her more. Even if she's only *really* in two more comics for season 2.#I wish I had more thoughts here. I'm so distracted by the donkey rotating in my brain. I missed her so monch.#Oh! Yeah I really like the parallels here between WWX and Little apple.#Specifically the sense of how we get a nod to how he's changed.#Little apple and WWX have both grown a little less lean and hungry (one literally the other metaphorically)#This whole episode is basically about WWX's desire for something peaceful and domestic in his life.#and here is little apple - his first companion from the start of his new life - changed to something softer.#Very much a 'look how far we have come moment' that is rather subtle but enjoyable.

And drunk#And just have fun colouring#Nidai doesn't drink but loves parties anyway and takes the ppl who go overboard home#And then wakes them up at 8 the next day to get some NUTRITION AND ELECTROLYTES AND TO SWEAT OUT THE BOOZE#Akane only drinks super occasionally (fx when it's free or really elaborate like giant fruit cocktails) or when someone challenges her#But she always comes pick up her drunk friends (lightweight Aoi hehe). Starts a fight occasionally....#Girls are allowed to crash at her place anytime. But she wakes up at 5 and you will wake up too#Fuyuhiko doesn't drink but has to do a lot of businesses at bars which he sometimes owns some part in#So he's in the party scene a lot anyway. He takes security seriously and would rather call you a cab than let you leave on stumbly legs#Mikan doesn't know how to say no and gets swept up in drunk people being...not mean to her#Chihiro does not drink often (because it usually ends like this)#Aoi is just a lightweight and gets sick easily#I really wanted to draw Chihiro with a 70s blowout cut but I think it didn't come through lol#Not tagging ships you can make your own meaning I'm tired and I gotta wrap presents. Which i hate doing wish me well

the modern villainisation of demeter will never cease to enrage me bc it wasnāt ENOUGH to just take a story of a girl being torn from her home from everyone who loved her and dragged away to be forced into marriage and twist and corrupt it until it was a romance story about female empowerment that wasnāt ENOUGH they HAD to take the original hero of the story the mother who went to every length to find her daughter again to bring her home and demonise her character until she was this horrific overbearing unloving mother. overprotective controlling without love. they turn the story of her grief at her YOUNG daughter being torn from her without her knowledge into the story of a misunderstood bad boy and a horrible cruel mother who wonāt give him a chance and i really find it sickening. itās ironic, that the ever misogynist age of hellenistic greece, has a better grasp of how disgusting and horrifying this situation was that a modern, self proclaimed āfeministā era.

sometimes I think of all the on-the-surface warm, well-meaning but deeply ineffectual advice and attention john gives harrow through harrow the ninth (make some soup and get some sleep! get a hobby! don't be so hard on yourself! self care harrow! as long as I need take no actual responsibility in this relationship whatsoever I would have loved to be your dad!) set up against the stark truth that with his other hand he has been staging her attempted horrific murder again and again and again like a living nightmare on the logic that it will 'put her down or fix her'. and then I find that I wish there is a hell. a special hell where twitch streamers turned necromantic death emperors go

I don't know what's funnier: paranormal scientist Marcus Wells completely missing every sign that Cosmo and Wanda are magical beings; or psychologist Angela Wells not missing a single sign that they have extremely complicated personal lives and relationships.
After every conversation with them, Marcus walks away oblivious. āThat was nice. What delightfully quirky people. Now, time to investigate the supernatural!ā

Hazel and her godparents are so afraid that Marcus will discover fairies, but the real threat is Angela roping her neighbours into an unofficial therapy session.
