okay but something i keep thinking about is the fact that mc, Rafayel, Zayne, Xavier and Sylus are currently all in the same timeline/lifetime. in the main story we’ve interacted with all four so far, and we’ve learned through their cards/myth/scenes about their past with mc and what has brought them here now. so is it not a fact that they are all SIMULTANEOUSLY pining and craving for her?! a man who betrayed a god, a man who betrayed his kingdom & people x 2, a man who?? well we aren’t sure for sylus just yet but LISTEN!! If the ending of this game is that she only chooses ONE the rest of them are fucked. they’re screwed in this lifetime and have to watch their soulmate, the love of their life go with ANOTHER. that’s absolutely insane

When Katsuki Bakugo needed saving, Izuku came up with a plan where Todoroki, Iida, and Kirishima went rocketing across the sky to reach him.

When Izuku Midoriya needed saving, it was Katsuki, Todoroki, and Iida who went rocketing across the sky to reach him.

Both times, our Twin Stars decided to set their own needs aside and allow the other’s trusted friend to take the lead in bringing them home. Izuku knew Kirishima was the right choice to get Katsuki away from the league quickly and safely, and Katsuki knew Iida was the better man for the job of catching up to Izuku and bringing him back.

Can we please just take a moment to appreciate the parallels. Please.

so here's a NikPrice angst idea I got:

Whenever Price gets drunk, he ends up spilling more to Nikolai than he intends, feelings he'd never share when he's sober. He speaks about things he'd rather keep hidden, the what ifs and talks about future

and then he blacks out, forgetting every word by morning, and Nikolai is left to bear the weight of those confession, patting Price's shoulders like everything was fine when it's not.

The next time Price drinks himself to the point, reaching for Nikolai's arm, eyes unfocused and voice a bit slurry, starts with "you know, one day I want to tell you—”

But Nikolai stops him.

Nikolai stops Price, cupping his jaw and squeezing his face just enough to turn his ramble into a muted mumble, lips pressed together, silenced.

"I know," Nikolai whispers, shaking his head gently, it's a plea, but he never says please don't.

"I know," Nik repeats, wearing a solemn smile to hide the tears in his eyes.

"Don't say it when I can't do anything about it." When I can't act on it.

And so, the confession goes unsaid, the I need you let to drift between them. Nikolai waits, he's a patient man he'll wait for the day Price will say the three words while sober. But Price on the other hand is convinced that Nikolai doesn't feel the same, holds it all inside and take this secret to his grave, never realizing that Nikolai has always known— and felt the same.

Appreciation for when Nightow draws these dark jumpscares of Vash looking absolutely terrifying (from Trigun vol2 & Trimax vol2)

Scaring everyone around him with a pressure so intense, like constraining an unfathomable darkness simmering just below the surface, that his friends and opponents alike are unnerved by just how....inhuman he can suddenly become.

As felt by Milly, Wolfwood, and Leonof the Puppetmaster (notably up to this point, Meryl's been startled and scared for him, but not frightened by Vash's unmasked darker 'diablo' side like the others have...)

That Leonof even notes (in Trimax vol3) a normal human would have already succumbed or lost himself to that level of darkness he carries....making Vash the complete opposite of one. To have endured the depths of that much sorrow, suffering, and rage beyond the scope of what's humanly possible. How he's so much like a human, yet uncannily nothing like one at all; he's something else entirely.

And yet, even despite that heavy darkness of accumulated demons and horrors beyond any human's lifetime or comprehension--being the very inescapable burden he carries as one who's functionally immortal, it's also just as Luida says--Vash somehow keeps on living and pressing forward through that endless personal hell regardless...
