As much as i hated working in the service industry there was something fun about getting to find out all the things you dont get to see as just a customer like when I worked at a deli a customer once asked me why we only did ham and cheese croissants on random days and I lied telling her it was just which ever day the manager decided but really we only sold them when the croissants from the bakery hadn't sold the previous day

When their relationship was all still new, it was somewhat awkward for a while whilst the Ancients all learned each other's sleeping habits.

They were all used to sleeping on their own, relatively speaking. A lot of them had experience with going out on adventures and camping under the stars by themselves, though with a whole group, it was an entirely new learning experience.

They all had to learn new quirks about their friends that weren't apparent in broad daylight.

Hollyberry and Golden Cheese snored a lot, despite the latter adamantly denying it. It annoyed Dark Cacao somewhat at first since he was so used to sleeping in silence.

The two night owls among them; Lily and Vanilla, sometimes stayed up past reasonable sleeping hours and didn't realize their conversations kept up the lighter sleepers among them. (Goldie and Cacao)

Some of them talked more frequently in their sleep than others, like Cacao and Hollyberry. It made for some interesting conversations come morning if anyone was awake to hear them.

And, White Lily has night terrors. Pure Vanilla forgot to inform the rest of his friends about it, so the first time it happened he sent sorry glances towards the others as he helped Lily calm down. He couldn't really explain the entire situation; that was Lily's right whenever she felt like it.

Subsequent occurrences of this happening involved more of them coming to help soothe Lily back to sleep, but in the end Hollyberry has the longest streak of it besides Vanilla. She'll shoo the others back to sleep and sacrifice her own to stay up with Lily if sleep doesn't come easily to her afterwards.

It takes a lot of getting used to as a group, but it's nothing good communication can't fix. And the occasional joys of staying at a tavern and getting their own rooms for a night.

Soon enough though, these quirks fade into the background as they all ease into a routine and get used to each other. Makes for some good memories to look back on- and opportune teasing material.
