No matter what you may think of Season 8 of Game of Thrones, one thing is beyond debate: it is an impressive study of Emilia Clarke's acting.

I am riveted to the screen each time, even though I already know what's going to happen.

In my personal opinion, no one else could have brought Daenerys Targaryen to life in the visual screen the way she did.

watching death note with my family and after the college entrance episode my mom asked offhandedly if anyone had ever pictured L and light as a couple before. it felt like one single white dove had landed on a crystalline lake in a beautiful pure clearing. no i dont think anyones ever thought of that before

one time I used the ben affleck smoking reaction image in the family group chat and my mom replied with the funniest possible response which was: "mommy doesn't know who the guy is???" and that phrase has not left my brain since. the funniest part of the jason x sex scene post is actually watching jason x and finding out that the sex scene was plot relevant because jason revives at the very same time they were having sex in the room next door and it's implied that jason could sense them having sex while he was cryogenically frozen and it pissed him so much (because he hates sex) that it revived him. if you removed it you would make the movie less funny.

idk why people get super pedantic about the movie logic in Home Alone and start and try to pick it apart, because like, its a Christmas movie about a child accidentally being left home alone, the premise isn't exactly asking us to suspend our disbelief that much, and yet nearly every single "gotcha" question I see people bring up about this film is literally answered within the first 15 minutes :/

Just watched Ten Inch Hero for the first time ever. It was a cute movie and much better than I was expecting going into it (since it was mid-2000's). I absolutely fell in love with Priestly and really grew to adore all of the characters. I think Jen was definitely one of my favorites in addition to Trucker. I felt for Piper and I wasn't crazy about Tish in the beginning honestly but I grew to love her by the end. Noah was alright (the most respect I had for him was when he told Piper about his past) but I'm glad things ended the way they did for Piper's sake. I loved the whole setting of the shop and the location they were in. The cast was great and they jived together really well. The whole idea was awesome and I think it was executed well. It definitely made me wish I could go back to 2007 and walk into this fictional sandwich shop/world to be a part of it. Definitely have to add this one to the library for rewatches in the future.

Katniss is such an unreliable narrator. She says "Then something unexpected happens. At least, I don't expect it because I don't think of District 12 as a place that cares about me" girl you deliver strawberries to the Mayor, you hunt and trade for the district, when you fell at Prim being chosen someone caught you, when you went to Prim people parted for you, when you volunteered EVERYONE stopped. Idk how to tell you but I think you're a pillar of the community.

There’s that post that’s like ‘everyone should get into a tiny niche fandom at least once’ fully agree, that was really fun -- but I would like to add that everyone should get into a fandom where their opinions run counter to major fanon because it really teaches you about sticking to your guns and trusting your interpretation of the text without having to rely on peer validation
