i think Watchers are destroyer type angels, while Skizz's type of angel is a creator type.

Consider: Skizz's type of angels are simply called Angelmen (and everyone's name has ''Man'' at the end of it, bc his full name is Skizzleman.................) (i need a name im grasping here)

I was also considering Scott Smajor to be a type of angel as well, but nature based, he doesn't destroy or create, but influences.

Scott is a star angel but they're born as animals before they can turn into humans (starbornes i guess)

spent a surprising length of time today binge reading angel's friends, a pretty good italian comic book series that was adapted into a pretty mediocre early 2000s cartoon series. i had been vaguely aware of the cartoon in the sense that kid me was prone to imprinting on anything with even a passing resemblance to winx club, but didnt know about the comics, and its kind of amazing how much better the comics are, in spite of apparently never being finished :(

like its not a masterpiece or anything and its got a couple of Very Questionable character designs but man im a sucker for silly angels vs devils brand fantasy media and the way the comics approach that type of story with some actually pretty fresh lore ideas (whether or not all of it necessarily makes perfect sense..) really gets me in my overanalyzing-childrens-media-worldbuilding brain.

also (with the exception of aforementioned questionable designs) its just so much cuter and overall visually appealing than the show like look at this

i dont even like dislike the show designs or anything theyre very y2k but im biased towards the one where they actually look like kids

i like that because xelqua has been a watcher longer he has dark wings instead of white because of what you mencioned of new wachers having diferent colored wings

I know I said Watchers have different colour wings, but I feel like backtracking that ….!!! I think they should all just have dark feathers, Watchers evolved to hide within the void and avoid players, yknow ? So…. Dark feathers…. (So I’ll be changing Flora, but she still wears white clothes, I like her being opposite of Aether..!)

I think all their wings are white when they first grow out and then darken with age. Despite Grian’s efforts, he has baby Watcher wings.

though I was also playing with the idea that in s8, the Boatem hole makes him go crazy a little bit, hearing the void, the watcher echos, and he grows dark feathers. (Watcher Enchantment is what encourages players to grow and change into them)

I can't say he has. Mainly because- though similar- he is not an angel, but a reaper. He has no energy for that kind of approach. It's always "hey, get outta here" and he's back to sleeping or doing whatever it is he does.

GENUINELY going 2 fucking explode. was in the car driving and angel with a shotgun came on. started thinkin about c!philza and no word of a lie i started crying. old man is immortal and has lost so much in his lifetime and became nearly apathetic about it, lost his son, got his son back, his son LEFT WILLINGLY, and then lost his best friend and his home one after the other. i was so fucking distraught about it. ohhh cphil you had so many issues and you were no good at helping people but you are so so tragic 2 me. then i started thinking abt vash the stampede and cried even harder
