Kia ora e te whanau, I'm once again asking you for financial assistance because the government is useless, and all we have is each other.

I am currently suffering health issues that have caused me to largely be unable to work, and I am not going to be able to pay rent or my utilities coming up in June. I have already had to cancel a doctors appointment to have my health issues looked at because I can't afford the hour long bus to get out there, and have had to cancel therapy because I can't afford the $130 sessions.

Forming a secret organization [Dream SMP] liveblog and summary!

Good laugh times: 7:40, 1:18:15, 1:19:25

Summary:

Techno started the stream in the Nether. He quickly went back to the overworld and to his house, where he meets up with Phil and Ranboo. He mentions that the house smells like gunpowder, and Phil quickly ushers them outside and they continue their conversation.

Techno nudges Ranboo away from the conversation, and he leaves the call. Phil and Techno watch as Ranboo leaves the house, and then Techno tells Phil his news. He talks about how taking down L’Manburg wasn’t the greatest plan, especially as he’s only one person. He wants to bring other people to their anarchist ways.

Phil agrees to form a secret organization for anarchists, because they can’t fight ten to one.

Techno and Phil go to Ranboos house, asking for a feather, and Ranboo asks if he’s getting kicked out. They say no, and then Ranboo says that he has something that might get him kicked out.

He talks about how he sometimes doesn’t remember what he does, and that he was the person who blew up the community house.

Techno asks why, and Ranboo says he doesn’t know.

Phil and Techno agree that they don’t really care about the community house, and Ranboo continues, saying that he has one of the discs. Phil and Techno agree again that they don’t care about the discs at all.

Techno and Phil leave.

Techno leads Phil to a stronghold, which he calls a ‘structure,’ and they cover it with gravel to hide it. They enter the structure, and they find a library, some useless doors, and keep exploring, finding nothing. Techno is confused, thinking that there had to have been a reason for the stronghold's existence.

While looking at a connected Abandoned Mineshaft, Techno finds an enchanted golden apple.

They go into the lower parts of the stronghold, and they find a prison. Techno mentions that the bread he found earlier tasted around 2,000 years old, which gives us a rough (and joking) estimate of when the stronghold was made.

Phil finds a strange portal, and they talk about how advanced the previous civilization must had been, to be able to make unbreakable blocks. They hear a villager writing, and dig up to a strange room.

It ends up being the igluu where Orphans parents lived, and they start laughing, but then, DreamXD logs in. He breaks the portal, and then leaves. Techno begs dream to put the portal back, because it would’ve added to the lore, and that their characters didn’t know what it was, and were going to use it as a table.

Dream logs in again, and puts one (1) portal frame block down, and then leaves again. Phil tells Dream how to place the blocks incorrectly so they wouldn’t form a portal, and he logs in to place them back.

DreamXD hears Techno joking about going to the end, logs in, and then logs out when Techno says he’s joking. Then, Techno explains the difference between DreamXD and Dream, saying that DreamXD has canonical access to creative mode, and is like God, but Dream is just some homeless teletubby. DreamXD logs in, says ‘they actually are I am the protector,” and logs out.

In chat, Techno asks ‘who was that dram fanboy, how did he get whitelisted,’ and DreamXD logs in again, hits Techno with a sword a few times, and logs out.

Techno and Phil decorate the meeting room a bit, and they start talking about what the association should be called. Techno says that he wants it to be the ‘[blank] Syndicate,’ and before they can agree on anything, Ranboos nametag is spotted, and they agree to kill him if he comes into the meeting room.

Techno puts down a sign with the organization's motto, which is ‘Sic semper tyrannis,’ which means ‘thus always to tyrants.’

He starts writing in the manifesto.

“This syndicate is formed to promote anarchy and fight tyranny in all its forms.

“We shall have no Leader; no member shall be compelled to act if they do not choose to.

“No member shall reveal information about the Syndicate to outsiders.

“Technoblade shall serve as the Recruiter to induce new members into the Syndicate with Approval from a Majority of members.”

Phil and Techno leave the Stronghold, and realize that the Igluu wasn’t actually Orphans parents, but instead a different Igluu that Ranboo had been using for Cartographers. They go back to the house, planning to meet with Ranboo, but on the way, they find a strange tower made of stone. Its hollow, but theres no chests or anything inside. They continue and meet with Ranboo, who has gifts for them. Techno gets a Netherite shovel with Efficiency V, Mending, Silk Touch, and Unbreaking III.

He brings them under his house, and we find he has a ‘comfort room,’ made of netherrack, that has several mob heads on the walls, an extra set of armor, and pets sitting next to the ladder. They talk about the map on the wall, and Techno seems concerned, or a bit scared.

Techno and Phil leave the call, and talk about how extremely strange the room, and Ranboo, was. They recount their adventure, and move the villagers into a more efficient layout. Ranboo joins them after a few minutes, at 1:38:00, and they work on curing the zombie villagers and giving them jobs

You'd known of him at the academy; the rumors and whispers of George Kirk's son, the reckless, charming cadet that had been the only person to ever pass the kobiashu Maru, and the blue eyes that made your heart thud unevenly. Yes, even before you had even exchanged words you had been intrigued. And you were only pulled even deeper into the whirlwind that was Jim Kirk once you had.

At first it was playful, you were part of his crew, his chosen family, even if you had only met in passing. Joking words and shoulder bumps in the elevator, knowing smiles. "Umm, yeah, sure." You stumbled out, before you could regret it. His face brightened up, and he stood taller. "Great! We're just going to have a few drinks, at this place Uhaura found down planet side. Meet us at the transporter room at eight." You nodded, whizzing down the hall before he could draw you in again with his words.

It was painful, sometimes, knowing you would never have him. Someone so charming, and important would never want to be with an unnamed redshirt.

You loved him because he was good, you shiver when you remembered general Marcus, Jim's rushed, pleading voice as he begged let my crew go.

His words echo in your mind when you roll around in your bed sometimes at night and can't sleep, the darkness of your quarters becomes suffocating as you remember the nightmarish event. Once or twice you had shot up in bed, gasping his name at the memory, tears gathering in your eyes.

He quickly introduces you to the rest of the group, the CMO's eyebrow arching as Kirk spoke your name, leaning in to give your hand a firm shake. You said hello to Scotty, whom you had met several times before during your shifts, you had always liked the odd Scott, always felt a strange sort of comfort whenever you two interacted. "Spock!" Jim called, clapping the shoulder of the first officer "you ready for tonight?" "As much as one can be for a "crazed night on the town" he said, glancing over at your slightly firmiliar form. Not wanting to be rude he steps away from Nyota and introduces himself. "I am commander Spock, and you are officer Y/L/N if I am correct?" You nodded with a slight smile.

You didn't see the way Jim watched the interaction almost with exhitenent, hands behind his back. Leonard nudged him in the side with a knowing look. Jim could almost hear him saying.

The lights pulsed red as Nyota pulled you through throngs of diverse species by your hand to the bar, you looked up at the glitching menu, unsure. You bit your bottom lip, smiling unconciously when Jim slid into the stool next to you. You didnt notice that he had cut off a woman that was about to sit there, so he could be next to you. A low, gargled voice hissed at him in an unfirmiliar tounge. "Captain!" Uhaura hissed from next to you. "You've shown disrespect. Get out of the seat."

Jim pouted jokingly, turning to speak to her. Long husk like teeth sprung up from her lower jaw, all of them had green patterned skin that swirled like a piccaso painting.

"I sincerely apologise, I just wanted to sit with my friends here." His hand swung out to gesture to the crew, but one of her men caught his arm and threw it back against his chest. Jim's eyes w8dened as they closed in around you both. Your eyes flashed to his face, his hands curled into fists and his lips flattened in a thin line.

"Calm down cupcake." He said clasping him on the shoulder to try to ease some of the tension. Her anterage hissed. Both of your eyes met, and you launched yourself into action.

Picking up a glass from the bar you smashed it over the goons head in front if you, kicking him in the ribs sending him flying into another table. Another rushed at you, you gripped the edge of the bar and kicked up, wrapping your legs around his neck and choking him. You saw Spock rise form the corner of your eye, going to two Kirk was struggling with, placing his hands on both their necks and pinching. They both collapse onto the floor. The man between your legs gags before collapsing from being deprived of oxygen. The boss stood off to the side, hissing when you made eye contact with her.

Uhaura took Jim by the ear, giving it a good yank before turning to you. "Let's go before they send reinforcements." She rolls her eyes.

You all made it outside, and were quickly beamed aboard. Before you could make it off the pad to escape to your room, his hand wrapped around your arm, one hand rubbing the back of his neck. "Well, that went great, didn't it?" He cracked a smile before it faultered. You lift an eyebrow in silent question.

"It was cowerdly, I was too nervous to ask you out alone, so I thought a group event-I just wanted to get to know you better, because I-" he cleared his throat. "I'm not usually like this. I've never tried to -to move slow before." "Move... slow?" He nodded. "I like you." Your ears started to ring slightly. Had you heard that right? "You like me?" He nodded again. A slow smile broke out on your face.

"Well, then... would you like to kiss me?" His eyes snapped to yours, before a giving you a dashing smile. His hand slid to your back and pressed his lips to yours. Your hand drifted to his cheek and he sighed into the kiss, pulling you tighter before parting. His eyes shined and he bounced on his heels slightly. You suddenly realised what you did, and smiled shyly, looking at your feet. He bit the inside of his cheek. "So uh, dinner later?" You chuckled "yes."

first and foremost, his word is law

and so chan is not as man to be messed with

got this mess of an organization handed down to him at a young age

and the first thing he did was deal with the unloyal and corrupt executives

people who thought they deserved top spot compared to a 20 some year old boy

most of them were planning to assassinate him on the dl

Chan didnt like that

so he and his buddy Minho dealt with the little traitors

they stopped bothering him, some moved to other organizations

the others were never heard from again

did chan torture them? kill them? the world may never know

and so Chan reformed the whole mafia within the span of a few years

he himself was the adopted son of the previous mafia boss

so he wanted to give opportunities to kids who didnt have anywhere else to go like him

so he did

he gave the organization an official name, stray kids

it started with him just sponsoring a boarding home

then he placed one of the retired, but one he deemed loyal, executives in charge of it

since he began needing more manpower and some of the older kids needed jobs, he slowly let them work for skz

it’s an odd dynamic, but many of the older generation members gained respect for Chan

and the younger generation are extremely loyal

it worked out quite fine for him

he even gained quite the reputation quickly, people try to avoid skz when they can

cause if you mess with skz, chan will make sure you’re dealt with

whether it means you cant say another word or disappear completely

theres rumors

chans a busy boy, and hes gained quite the reputation

a lot of mafia groups from other cities have heard a lot about him

especially after he reformed the whole organization and got rid of most of the higher ups

and began some practices over time

specifically, with minho and changbin

those are his go-to guys for questioning

nobody ever wants to get “questioned” by them

it’s basically two bad cops, no good cop there

the only good cop in skz is woojin

anyway chan wanted a group of capable people he could trust

he obviously had people like changbin and minho in his little circle

but it grew quickly

eventually he ended up with eight other guys who’ve had their own struggles

but joined stray kids for their own reasons

people like jeongin and felix had nowhere else to go

woojin and hyunjin were in need of jobs

And that’s how it’s been for a while

things run smoothly for the most part and skz has a strong reputation

chans almost always busy

whatever business he’s dealing with, he makes sure he gets a good deal

doesnt play around

you try to trick him he will make sure you regret it

theres a certain rumor floating around about chan

many, actually

lots of rumors

people say hes of royal descent

others say he murdered the old mob boss to take charge

just a wide variety of strange things are said about him

one time jisung heard that chan trained wild wolves to maul competition

jisung laughed

outside of skz, hes a complete mystery

it’s kind of like an inside joke for stray kids

occasionally members would come home and share what new rumor they heard

the craziest one came from felix (who actually believed it)

he went up to chan, slightly bewildered, and asked him

“hyung, did you really escape from russia as a kid??”

chan was very confused how that one started

especially since he has a clear Australian accent

and hes very aware of his reputation

he knows who he is

and he likes to keep it like that

so theres less chance of people messing with skz

in his eyes, the reputation was a safeguard from people seeing them as weak

plus it amuses him

while the rumors are usually baseless, he does have a fierce attitude when it comes to work

all business no play

jisungs acting up and being weird?

he has seungmin give him a good slap

then they would get into a fight

which chan would have to break up

or maybe hyunjins being overdramatic

he gets seungmin to talk to him

chan basically gets seungmin to handle the other members when they’re being difficult

one time chan sent seungmin to deal with a moody minho and seungmin ended up pinned to the ground with a knife to his neck

seungmin refuses to deal with moody minho nowadays

anywho, if chan tells a member to do something they do it

he just likes to bother seungmin

cause if you don’t do what chan tells you, you’re in for it

and since he basically grew up in the mafia, hes been hardened to most things

this guy wont bat an eye to shooting a gun

that’s child’s play for him

hes seen things that would leave many people traumatized

not a pushover in the slightest

however many people don’t know he has a soft side

you felt like you were in some cliche fanfic

mostly because the other members didnt want you yapping about skz

and the other members barely trusted you

but eventually they all warmed up to you

it wasnt easy adjusting to the lifestyle

and it wasnt easy leaving your old life behind

but in the end you really did enjoy it

and chan was forever grateful he met you

and you know, didnt kill you

anywho chan tries to keep you as safe as possible

if anything happened to you he’d flip shit

hed be pissed

and nobody would be getting out happy

chan was careful though so you’re all good

A rabbi, a bodyguard, and a mob boss walk into a coffee shop — for most people, this would be nothing more than the tell-tale beginning of a truly awful joke. For Corvo Attano, security chief to CEO Jessamine Kaldwin of Dunwall, Inc., the punchline hit rather too close to home.

And if Rabbi Martin knew, he would probably give Corvo that Terribly Disappointed Look, before muttering to himself about lazy bastards living in their suits — whatever that would have been supposed to mean. Corvo did not pretend to know.

Thankfully, the rabbi had not actually been there that day; as Corvo would have been ill equipped to explain why he stood in the coffee shop only a stone’s throw from his apartment, on his way to work, mentally going through Jessamine’s schedule for the day and making sure the itinerary he’d set up still matched with her calendar by checking his phone; when, suddenly, all thought careened to a halt as he became aware of the man currently waiting, patiently, at the other end of the long counter.

He knew that face. Had only ever seen it on grainy surveillance footage, provided — reluctantly — by Lieutenant Curnow of the GPD, though.

Daud. Feared mob boss, rumoured former assassin, the one who held the entirety of Gristol’s organised crime in the palm of his hand. Corvo estimated him to be four or five years older than himself at the most. He looked a little older in person, but that was probably down to the scar carving up the right side of his face.

Such a distinctive mark, and yet he was still walking free. Corvo had once jokingly suggested putting up wanted posters throughout the city — Curnow had only retorted that an APB and about two dozen outstanding arrest warrants should do.

Corvo begged to differ.

Lost in his thoughts, he had kept his eye on the man for far too long, and now, when he tried to go back to the contents of his phone, he found Daud’s startlingly bright eyes staring right back.

There was hardly any doubt that Daud knew who he was, and who he worked for. Dunwall, Inc. had been the target of one of Daud’s crew’s operations often enough — shipments stolen, attempted break-ins in more remote facilities… Corvo wondered if one day an attempt on Jess’ life would join the charge sheet.

He’d be ready, if that day ever came.

For now, he held Daud’s gaze — what else was he to do?

They stared at one another, assessing, each caught out by their knowledge of who the other man was and their uncertainty what to do about it — in such a public place, even Daud seemed to have scruples. He shifted, straightening up from where he’d been leaning against the counter with his hip cocked. He broke eye contact, and then reached into the inner pocket of his finely tailored suit.

Corvo tensed.

Daud withdrew his own phone, and started tapping in commands — short and to the point, it seemed. He was done, apparently, by the time the barista deposited a tall cup at his elbow. Daud looked up to thank them, judging by the smile the young woman gave him, then took his order and, with one last glance at Corvo across the heads of the other customers, turned to leave the shop. Corvo didn’t dare turn to watch him go, his mind racing.

Should he have done something? Shit, he should have called Curnow.

Instead, he’d done nothing.

“Good morning, sir, what can I get ya?”

Corvo needed a moment to realise it was his turn.

“I’m sorry,” he said quickly, “I just realised, I must have forgotten my wallet. Excuse me.”

He quickly turned, left the queue. Daud was unlikely to go anywhere without protection, so even if Corvo hadn’t seen anyone directly outside or inside the coffee shop, following the man was an extraordinarily stupid idea.

Corvo looked at his watch.

He had ten minutes.

He’d gotten about four blocks further when he caught sight of Daud — he wasn’t especially tall, but his frame was broad and the way he held himself as he walked was another thing Corvo recognised from borrowed surveillance footage. Now that he was paying attention, Corvo saw that Daud was “followed” by three young men in suits, not as finely tailored as Daud’s own, but close enough to know that he paid them well.

Corvo glanced at his watch again. Seven minutes, then he’d have to turn around. He tailed Daud and his entourage for two more blocks when a bus passed before Corvo could cross the street — and, suddenly, they were gone.

Corvo, knowing full well that this was just yet another bad idea, picked up his pace.

He passed a shadowy alleyway, briefly glancing inside but deciding it wasn’t worth the bother. He’d barely taken another step when a gravelly voice behind him spoke.

“Attano. A word.”

Fuck.

He could have kept going, could have just ignored the voice and done his best to get out.

He followed the voice instead.

He stepped into the alley, letting his eyes adjust to the dark until he could make out Daud, leaning against the wall, his cup of hot caffeine still in one hand, the other in his trouser pocket. Behind him, his three shadows, regarding Corvo indifferently. Corvo wondered whether, if this were a penny novel, they’d be wearing masks.

“Figured we’d run into each other sooner or later,” Daud said à propos of nothing, sounding as cavalier as though just remarking upon the weather. Clement, for the season.

“What do you want?“ Corvo demanded, more to give his tongue something to do and to buy himself some time.

“Me?” At this, Daud pushed off the wall and came closer. His guards didn’t move a muscle. They had to trust that Daud could take care of himself well enough — even against Corvo Attano, former black ops. “You were staring at me across a coffee shop for a full two minutes. Really, Corvo,” Daud rumbled when he stopped just in front of him, Corvo’s hackles rising at being addressed by his first name, “there were children around.”

Corvo ground his teeth. “If you’re trying to offend me, it’s not working,” he informed him, clipped.

“Oh?” Daud raised a brow. Then, he smirked. “Good to know.”

For a moment, Corvo could only stare. What the fuck was he doing?

“If you’re not going to shoot me, take me hostage, or threaten my employer,“ he rallied, “then I really must be going.“

Daud responded by stepping closer.

“So soon?”

“Daud,” Corvo threatened, quite as though — shit, as though he were talking to Jess when she was teasing him by contemplating yet another dress thirty minutes before they were due to leave for yet another charity gala. Not to a dangerous mob boss who might well one day decide that he wanted them dead for profit.

He nearly missed Daud’s sharp intake of breath, well as he tried to hide it.

“Alright,” Daud conceded, and gestured towards the busy streets. “But I do hope we get to continue this… conversation at a later date.”

Conversation?

“I wouldn’t call this ‘talking,’” Corvo said before he could stop himself.

“Get to work, Attano,” Daud answered, accompanying the words with a dismissive little gesture that Corvo would have very much liked to break his arm for. “We’ll… talk. Soon.”

Before he could make even more of a fool of himself, Corvo turned on his heel, loathe though he was to turn his back on such a man as Daud, and left the alley at a measured pace.

Damn if Daud saw him running.

Would they, then? Talk?

Corvo had no idea.

They’d just have to see.

Ten Republicans joined Democrats in impeaching Trump a historic second time, a move that was quickly met with condemnation back in their home states. They’ve been publicly scolded, pushed to resign and warned that local organizations will mount a strong push to oust them from office in the primary.

“After my last election, I had decided not to run again. But the vote by Congressman Valadao to impeach President Trump with no witnesses, evidence, or without allowing any defense was too much for me to stay on the sidelines,” Chris Mathys, a former Fresno, California, city council member, told Newsweek.

Valadao, who represents California’s 21st district, wasn’t in office during Trump’s first impeachment, as he had been ousted from office in 2018 by Democrat TJ Coxx. In November, Valadao won back his seat from the Democrat who beat him in 2018 by less than a point. The Republican placed blame on Trump for the Capitol riot, saying that his rhetoric was “un-American, abhorrent and absolutely an impeachable offense.”

Illinois Rep Adam Kinzinger

Kinzinger, first elected to Congress in 2010 when voters swept House Republicans into power, has relied on his military background in crafting his legislative priorities, especially on foreign policy. The veteran of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan serves on the House Foreign Affairs panel, as well as Energy and Commerce. Kinzinger initially defended Trumps foreign policy and national security posture, but by 2018 he had become a critic of the commander in chief.;

He voted in line with the president on legislation 90 percent of the time during the Trump years, according to CQ Vote Watch. Kinzinger voted with Trump 85 percent of the time in 2019. Trump carried Kinzingers 16th District, which stretches from Illinois Wisconsin border north of Rockford to its line with Indiana, in 2020. Trump got 57 percent of the vote in the district, according to Daily Kos Elections, while Kinzinger got 65 percent.

He immediately condemned Trump in a video statement on Jan. 6. The storming of the Capitol was a coup attempt, with the purpose of overturning the election of a duly elected president, he said. The current president incited this coup, encouraged it, and did little to protect the Capitol and the Constitution.

As a former federal prosecutor, I approach the question of impeachment by reviewing the facts at hand, he said. Rices vote for impeachment stunned those familiar with the South Carolina lawmakers record as a staunch Trump defender, especially during his first impeachment.;

I have backed this President through thick and thin for four years. I campaigned for him and voted for him twice, Rice;said in a statement;Wednesday evening. But, this utter failure is inexcusable.

Rice voted for motions to object to certifying Bidens Electoral College victories in Arizona and Pennsylvania last week, votes that came after security teams cleared the building of rioters and members returned from a secure location. First elected to Wyomings sole House seat in 2016, Cheney became the Republican conference chairwoman three years later, calling for a fundamental overhaul of the partys messaging operation. The articles of impeachment were not sent to the Senate immediately since the Senate wouldnt be in session until the day before Joe Bidens inauguration. The Democrats waited further until an agreement was reached in the Senate for the power-sharing structure that would regulate how the evenly split Senate would operate going forward. Under an agreement with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell the trial was delayed to give the Senate more time to get Bidens nominees for his Cabinet approved.

Adam Kinzinger Of Illinois

None of the 10 pro-impeachment House Republicans have raised their profiles more than Mr. Kinzinger, a six-term conservative who represents an exurban and rural part of northern and central Illinois. He has created a political action committee and become a frequent anti-Trump presence on cable television and social media since the Capitol riot.

Mr. Kinzinger hasnt formally announced a 2022 re-election bid, and the Illinois legislature, controlled by Democrats, is likely to redraw his district to make it more difficult for a Republican to win.

A half-dozen Republicans are vying to challenge him, including Catalina Lauf, a former Commerce Department official under Mr. Trump, who placed third in a Republican primary in a neighboring congressional district last year.

So far, Ms. Lauf has been endorsed by Representative Madison Cawthorn of North Carolina, one of the leading purveyors of pro-Trump misinformation in Congress.

None of the 10 Republican votes to impeach was as surprising as that of Mr. Rice, a conservative who had to that point never spoken out against Mr. Trump. It shocked his constituents in northeastern South Carolina and set off a land rush of a dozen Republicans aiming to unseat him.

Among them are a former Trump administration official and several candidates who declared that they would not have voted to certify Mr. Bidens victory.

Mr. Rices case may present one of the purest tests yet of Mr. Trumps hold on the party: There is no other issue in which he has broken with the former president or with Republican leadership. But his impeachment vote has been forgotten by no one: not his primary opponents, not the Trumpian party base, and not Mr. Trump himself.

Valladaos district in the San Joaquin Valley is somewhat difficult to portray politically, given his performance in it: he won in 2012 and 2016, even though Democratic presidential candidates won the district by a two-point margin. In 2018, amidst the Democratic wave of elections, he lost by less than 1,000 votes. He reclaimed his seat last year, while Mr Biden ran in the district by an 11-point margin.

What is clear is that Mr. Valladaos survival in such a skittish district is seen as crucial to Republican efforts to regain the House. This may explain why, despite his impeachment vote, McCarthy, now a vocal Trump ally, is helping Mr Valladao raise funds.

For his part, Mr. Valladao has been a credible Republican vote in the House since his support for impeachment and has said little about it in the intervening months, except that Voting 6 January Commission for the destruction of Mr. Katko.

But he has expressed some solidarity with other pro-impeachment Republicans: He Appeared at a fund-raiser for Mr Newhouse and eight others all except Ms. Cheney, whose Political Action Committee donated $5,000 to Mr. Valadao.

So far, he has faced only weak opposition: his prime primary challenger lost a Republican primary to Congress in New Mexico last year.

Kevin Mccarthy Is Actively Opposing President Trump By Fundraising For The 45th Presidents Political Opponents

Despite President Donald Trumps efforts to endorse and unseat opponents of his America First agenda in the U.S. House, including representatives who voted with Democrats to impeach him over claims he incited violence in January 6, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy is actively fundraising for many of President Trumps opponents, raising around half a million dollars for them.

McCarthys inappropriately named Take Back the House 2022 committee has raised $100,000 each for Reps. Jaime Herrera-Beutler of Washington state, John Katko of New York, and both Fred Upton and Peter Meijer of Michigan, who all voted to bring impeachment charges against President Trump in the United States Senate.

At least one of these candidates has two pro-Trump challengers. Herrera-Beutler, the establishment Republican incumbent in Washington state, faces insurgent challenges from Joe Kent a veteran of the United States armed forces whose wife died in service to her country and Heidi St. John, a legend in the homeschool community who has opposed left wing school curriculum and fought for parents rights to determine how their children should be educated for years.

President Trump recently endorsed Kents bid to replace Herrera-Beutlerm in a move that received praise from America First political pundits. However, it seems McCarthy favors the establishment incumbent over America First challengers.

undertrek is such a self indulgent thing and i would absolutely LOSE it if someone started watching ST because of it. i mean let’s be clear here, the original show is such a vastly different beast than the following series’ (TNG, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise, STD) and im primarily a fan of ToS--though when i started drawing undertrek, i hadnt seen the original series? in retrospect i’d like to go back and change some of the toning, to leave behind the more grounded feel of the post TNG-verse, and do more of the romanticism of ToS

it’s been awhile since i’ve drawn adult frisk, i just didnt realize that people care all that much ? tbh i dont really care all too much for them ... i like the design and all, but i just think kid frisk is a lot funnier, and i have more fun drawin their amorphous kind of shape anyways.

i had pretty major knee surgery over the summer so a lot of my leg muscles atrophied pretty badly, actually :(

i’ve been pretty bummed about that. i’m able to walk now, but the strength still isn’t quite there. i’m at the point where i can get back into weightlifting, though, so i just need to actually sit down & write down my fitness plan for the week. 

i’ll be honest the name squatlord is partially ironic but i’m not kidding about how good, important, and helpful squatting is as an exercise. it really targets those major leg muscles that are vital for just about any physical activity we engage in as humans -- and since my goals are primarily strength training & some amount of bulking, it’s pretty important to have squatting as a major aspect of that training. it’s just been months at this point, though, and getting back into a regular exercise routine is always difficult. it took years for me to even have a schedule at all. totally worth it tho, i fuckin adore bein a full time jock lol

also “squat” is a god damn hilarious word and my domain IS this fuckin leg flexin, i was lyin before, i am absolutely the lord of this horrible sweaty realm, i fucking own these legs & i fucking own these squats

QUESTION 2. As shown in the comic, Apus has been going on quite a recruiting spree. How do you think Damian will adjust to his new life situation, especially after what happened? How will Damian deal with Damon joining the Demon Council? What do you think the story is with Firosofi and Euripides? Will they adjust to their life there and will the others adjust to them? Will recruiting Draco go smoothly, or will matters be complicated because of Draco’s situation with B.I.T.E.? What do you think is up with Earth suddenly recruiting so many demons and non-humans all at once? Lastly, do you think Amai will learn to do field work, and how might it change her?

okay MISC CHARACTER HEADCANONS AND THINGS

* first and most important one: arthur and dylas consider porcoline their adopted father just like margaret does, and they all see each other as siblings. Its never actually stated in canon but IT HAS TO BE TRUE OKAY * I wish Illuminata, Bado and Pico could have been marriages in dlc or something. Thats not really a headcanon but I wanted to mention it. * ALL THE GAY JOKES ARE NOW NOT JOKES BUT CANON. That is my headcanon. Stop teasing me with ‘lol isnt it somehow funny that they seem to be gay but arent’, and give me more actual being the what they are. Pico has a crush on Dolce, Doug and Dylas have a crush, Margaret is totally crushing on Forte, imagine a universe where all of that gets to be canon and not just a ‘joke’! And imagine if these characters that’re implied to be gay or bisexual could get to be gay or bisexual with regards to the protagonist too! If dylas, doug, margaret and forte could be marriageable no matter which gender you picked! Maybe if you could have some options that’re exclusively gay too? Perhaps pico is the lesbian marriage and I dunno.. bado could be gay because he’s kinda bara? XD Tho I think it’d be neat if frey could marry him too, i just wish he had a route in general. * Also i wish we could have been able to help Arthur track down his mother again and reconcile with her. It was mega heartwarming that you could help him discover that his mother loved him all along and only left because of outside cricumstances involving the controversy of arthur being the product of his father’s affair with a commoner, but still we dont know where she is now and whether she’s happy. I like to hope maybe she’s out there still alive somewhere, and maybe she collects newspaper clippings hearing about her son’s adventures as super businessman prince! And thus someday she hears that he moved to selphia and married frey the commoner, and maybe this leads to her deciding to come back and confess why she really left. And also maybe the marriage to the protagonist could help society get over the whole predjudice and stuff and arthur’s mum could regain a better reputation in the eyes of the nobles. or maybe she never does and she just ends up moving into selphia and never being able to return to her home city, but still its all ok cos at least she can hug her son and meet her new grandkid. * My thoughts for the guardians who didnt get much said about their past lives! For Amber the game says she ‘wanted to fly with ventuswill’ and thats at least more than we know for Dylas, but still its very undeveloped. My headcanon is that maybe she was a pilot? or like.. lived in an era before airships were actually invented, and was someone who dreamed of finding a way to make it possible. And her notes were discovered after she vanished, and ended up inspiring the person who ended up inventing the first flying machine! And even though now she can fly on her own wings, it could be heartwarming for her to find out about this and have a bit of conclusion to her life. I also headcanon that Amber’s relationship with Ventuswill was maybe more like an adoptive mother-daughter thing? I think it would fit with how strange and monster-like Amber thinks sometimes, even though she must have been human to begin with. I mean maybe thats just how the magic works and if you’re a weirdo who loves eating raw potatos and climbing trees to steal honey from beehives you become a butterfly?? But I think it could work if maybe she was an orphan who was raised by the native dragon and ended up a little ditzy because she hadn’t interacted with humans much until nowadays. like, maybe this was a period when ventuswill was mourning the first person who became a guardian (what order did it happen, actually...?) and she became more solitary instead of having this personal presence in the town. She flew off to watch over selphia from within the forest cave instead, and found an abandoned child by chance. And then once Amber had grown up she was always trying to drop her off at the town and make her live with her own kind, but amber would always find her way back. And ventuswill was like ‘aww shit no i ended up loving someone again’ and couldnt stop amber from finding out about the guardian ritual and doing it too. And like... the only reason ventuswill went back to the town was because now corrupted-amber is the boss of the forest area and ventuswill cant break through her magic to get back in. So amber’s sacrifice also helped convince venti to open up to other people again. *eternal sobbing* * And my headcanons for Dylas’s past are less developed, but I was considering maybe the idea that he was the last one to be guardianized? And by this point it had become seen as a tradition by the people of selphia, and they would like.. look for a human sacrifice, rather than it being someone who willingly did it. It was a very dark time in the town’s history. It was nearly the end of the town not because it was in danger, but because if they’d gone through with such a horrible plan it just wouldnt be selphia anymore. Those people wouldnt be worth protecting, it probably would have caused ventuswill to leave and never return. So anyway I was thinking maybe Dylas was some sort of weird loner fisherman on the edge of town that everyone hated, so they considered him the one who should be sacrificed. And he was so lonely and suicidal that he wanted to agree to it, just because he wanted to die and didnt care how. But then ventuswill put a stop to the angry mob and rescued him, and he regained his faith in people and found his first and greatest friend as he got to know her. So in the end he performed the ritual out of his own free will, after realizing she was the one who would be saved by his sacrifice. And she was haunted by the guilt that by saving him she’d inadvertantly caused him to go down the same path anyway, just for different reasons. And then Dylas is just way more happy nowadays because whatever reason the town hated him is now gone, and he’s seeing how kind and wonderful its become, and he’s never had so many friends before!! And he can still go fishing and hang out with venti, and even meet three other people who also loved venti enough to die, and bond over their super sadness together. Oh! An idea! Maybe Dylas was part of a different race of nomadic humans who travel in caravans, and the town treated him so shittily because they were racist fucks? I was just thinking how that could maybe be a reason why his monster form was a horse, if maybe horses were a highly respected animal in his home culture, and he’s all estranged from it and stuck living in a foreign land with a bunch of intolerant bastards. And it could be extra heartwarming cos nowadays he’s living in the future version of this town that is even more foreign to him, but nowadays that racial tension is less common and he’s actually been welcomed as one of them. And maybe he could have extra quests added to his rather short romance route, cos he could be trying to learn whether his clan actually survived and still exists nowadays. And then have a heartwarming reunion with the grandchild of one of his siblings maybe? look, everyone else in the batchelors got a big sad questline, why cant perfect tsundere horseman join them?? IT WOULD BE THE SADDEST OF ALL THE SADS * also it would be really cool if when you married the guardian characters your child could inherit monster powers! I’m still gonna forever headcanon that they do, even if they dont get any of the appearance traits. It would be so cute if noel/luna could poof into a tiny baby unicorn and dylas is just sobbing with pride :3 * also headcanon: I wish Leon’s fox statue guardians could move into the city after you marry him, and be like loving uncle babysitters to your child! the excuse would be like ‘we need to protect the next in the proud dragon priest lineage’. And maybe once they leave the temple they could be stuck in de-powered tiny pet forms of cute? * Oh and a possible headcanon that the name Leon is passed down from father to son in Leon’s family. That’d explain why that temple is called Leon Karnak. Unless it was renamed into a memorial to him after he sacrificed himself? But it could be cute if your kid with him was Leon Jr/Leona and had adorkable fox statue pets and was a prodigy champion in the buddy battle festival and made their parents proud. I HAVE MANY HEADCANONS! * Gahhhh I really dont know who I should marry! Arthur was the first one I dated and I really like him though I wish you could have a friend route with him where you still help him with his backstory problems, I dont feel like I like the ship as much. And then Leon’s backstory was so sad I feel guilty not marrying him, but Dylas’s marriage route was so BAD that I feel guilty not marrying him! He didnt get as many scenes as leon, so I wanna marry him instead so i can fly off headcanoning more scenes!! But gahhh leon!! I think I ship leon with female protagonist and dylas with the male one :P I might make two saves to try both. And a third save just to see what arthur’s route is like, though i still like him and female protagonist better as a brotp, yknow? Or maybe amicable exes. Or just people who dated once casually but didnt end up together. Or any way i could get the happy ending to his backstory stuff without having to date him, seriously why does everyone be backstory sad unless I date them?? Except dylas who DOESNT GET ANY SCREENTIME INSTEAD *pout* *....im gonna go back to the game and marry dylas aaaa * and everyone else * aaaaaaa * i just care so much about these characters * i think dylas might win cos marrying him also means my fave character porcoline becomes my father in law * i wonder if he’s at the wedding? that’d kinda confirm my headcanon dylas and arthur are like margaret’s adopted brothers. * I WANT EVERY FAM TO BE HAPPY AAA
