What about Pixie yuu?
Sure thing, ask and you shall receive
𝐖𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐈𝐅 𝐘𝐔𝐔 𝐈𝐒 𝐀 𝐏𝐈𝐗𝐈𝐄 🧚♂️🧚♀️🧚
A pixie is a mythical creature that resembles a mischievous fairy. If you spy some adorable little sprites in green pointed hats sneaking around the woods, you can bet that they're pixies. Pixies appear in folk and fairy tales from the southwest part of England, making minor mischief and dancing in groups.
Pixie Yuu is always buzzing with energy and curiosity, darting from one adventure to the next. They are full of mischievous charm, often pulling harmless pranks on their friends, especially Grim. Their lighthearted nature makes them a joy to be around, but sometimes their antics can get them in trouble.
Despite their whimsical attitude, they are sharp and quick on their feet, both mentally and physically. They have a knack for getting out of tricky situations with their clever thinking and wit.
Like a pixie guardian of nature, they have a deep connection to the environment, especially plants and animals. They takes care of the plants around the school grounds and sometimes communicates with the magical creatures that reside in the woods surrounding Night Raven College.
Can control their size, but their original size is the size of a palm similar towards a fairy. But they can manipulate their size to their liking.
Even tho they have a tiny stature and innocent appearance, They swear like a sailor, they swear as an everyday vocabulary, they also have a sharp tongue throwing insults or roast towards literally anyone no matter who it is. Btw a big fan of yo mama jokes
They also uses every creative, colorful phrase imaginable, often leaving others shocked or laughing. Their favorite exclamations usually include bizarre combinations involving nature, like “By the roots of the cursed oak! or “Wings of a twisted nettle!”
During the time when riddle insults them during the heartslabyul arc, pixie!yuu release a barrage of swearing and insult towards, causing the entire dorm with their mouth open. Their cursing can almost make him pass out
Best friends with epel, throw insults at each other on a daily basis, but not in a rude way but a way of greeting each other, when they wake up epel message them an insult as a way to say good morning.
Their way of cursing is the way of showing dominance, many savanaclaw students are too afraid to face them. Scared of them to filet by them using their mouth.
They also have bad memories of remembering most of the students names so they use nicknames.
Riddle : "Anger issues / mommies boy"
Leo : "lion furry / Lazy Tail Twitcher"
Azul : "Ursula knock off / calamari
Kalim : "nothing will ever go wrong guy / happy go lucky"
Vil : royal pain in the ass / pretty boy
Idia : otaku human torch/ nerd boy
Malleus : horny guy / dark and broody
They also mistake people's names with others, they always mistake jade and Floyd's name, by calling jade : Floyd as well calling Floyd : jade. The twins find this amusing. ( Reference to the I'm just ken meme, with Ryan Reynolds and odell Beckman junior )
Though Pixie Yuu loves nature, cooking is where their chaotic energy shines. They throw random plants and ingredients into the pot, and somehow, it usually turns out delicious. Their creations are unpredictable, but they have a unique charm—except when they accidentally adds too much pixie dust and causes the food to float!
They often sprinkle a little of their pixie dust on their friends when they need a boost. Whether it’s to help Deuce during exams or to give Riddle a rare moment of carefree joy, they always knows when someone could use a little magical lift.
They challenges Lilia to flying competitions every now and then. Despite Lilia's age and experience, he always seems to find their pixie agility impressive. They never backs down from a good aerial race.
They love playing harmless pranks on their friends and teachers. They'll shrink objects, make things float with their pixie dust, or create tiny illusions to confuse people. Their favorite target is Ace, who never seems to catch on when things go missing or shift around him.
Pixie Yuu has a habit of making cozy little hideaways in places no one else would think of. They been known to sleep in flower petals or inside teacups. Whenever they feeling overwhelmed, they retreats to these small, quiet spots to recharge.
Thanks to their deep connection with nature, they are is the go-to student when anyone needs advice on magical plants. They know how to handle even the most dangerous flora, often with a quick swear and a smack of their hand.
Pixie Yuu’s magic is often unpredictable. A simple spell to help with gardening might accidentally turn the entire garden into a sprawling jungle or on fire. While their intentions are usually good, things tend to spiral out of control quickly, often ending with them swearing like a sailor while trying to fix the mess.
Yuu is fascinated by small, shiny things, and they have a collection of them hidden away in her room. From tiny crystals to miniature figures, if it’s small and glittering, they probably has it. Grim often teases them, calling them a “magpie,” but Yuu just shrugs and says, “Better than hoarding tuna cans like you, furball.”
Yuu has a small entourage of woodland animals who follow them around—rabbits, birds, and squirrels that assist her with tasks or simply keep them company. Grim occasionally gets jealous of how much attention she gets from the animals.
They have a beautiful, translucent wings with a soft glow, similar to those of a dragonfly. They're delicate but strong, and they shimmer in a myriad of colors depending on the light.
When things get intense in a fight, Yuu’s sailor-like mouth is in full effect. Their small size and pixie wings make them a speedy fighter, darting around enemies and cursing them out as they go. Grim swears they once made an opponent surrender purely out of confusion and shock from her language.
They also use their pixie for battle by sprinkling pixie dust on any object that is a heavy, example a dresser and they would just throw the floating heavy object towards the enemy, example them using pixie dust on a table in heartslabyul and throw it on overblot riddle
Their wings give them unparalleled mobility in the air. They are a master of aerial combat, darting around opponents with lightning speed. Their size makes them harder to hit, and they can weave in and out of attacks with ease. Their aerial maneuvers include flips, barrel rolls, and sharp dives that make them a difficult target. While flying, they can strike from different angles, keeping their enemies on their toes. They often taunt them mid-air, yelling or curse at them.
They have deep connection with nature and allow them to control plants and the environment. In battle, they can summon vines to entangle enemies, create walls of thorns for defense, or use flowers that emit calming spores to pacify aggressive foes. They have an attack called “Thorn Whip,” where they lashes out with thorny vines that deal damage while immobilizing the opponent.
They are able to manipulate magic. They have access to various elemental spells, with a particular affinity for wind and earth magic. They can summon gusts of wind to knock enemies off balance or send blasts of wind like invisible slaps their earth magic allows them to create small rock barriers or spike the ground beneath them foes, making them trip or lose balance.
They also have the ability to shrink objects and sometimes even opponents, temporarily reducing them to a comically tiny size. This disorients enemies and renders them nearly harmless while small.
They are also very skilled and a swordmaster. Their sword style mostly focuses on offensive moves by and overpowered the enemies. They are able to catch up with Lilia who's an experienced warrior.
They have pointy ears, this helps them hear from miles that is considered possible, they are also described to be very beautiful by the most of student body.
They also called Lilia an old bat as well a beg of old bones and skins meanwhile they are also a few hundred years old.

Since it's the month of May, here are some of my MerMay art. ◉‿◉
My first Mer creation
Btw, these artworks were originally posted on Cara (my comfort art site♡) during the '23 MerMay event there. I asked one of the admins if it's okay for me to submit unconventional-looking merfolks, and they said yes. They actually liked my beloved abominations. lol
"Deep Sea Queen"
The name is just a reference to Deep Sea King from One Punch Man. I just wanted to call her DSQ, bc she's a deep sea creature and a queen. 💅😂 I also kinda referenced an angler fish (for that head-arm extension thingy), gold fish (for the body), and one of my older sisters (for the long flowy hair). ♡ lol
"Pardon May"
Fun fact: Squids have tentacles but octopuses don't. Both have 8 arms (not tentacles!), but squids also have two longer tentacles (appendages that only have suctions at the end of limb) used to catch fish and shrimp in open-ocean waters. Octopuses have 8 appendages while squids have 10 (8 arms and 2 tentacles).
"Safe Mother"
I just literally combined two prompts: "safe" and "mother." (≧▽≦)
"Heye"
Its name is pronounced like the greeting "Hi" but the 'i" is replaced with "eye" for obvious reasons. Also, I just thought of an octopus, a jellyfish, thalassophobia and Mike Wazowski when I drew this. lol
"Tiptoe Thru the Tulips"
I named them Speckle and Jawrothy. ♡
🎶song inspiration 🎶
"Mr. Dapper"
I just wanted to draw a fine gentlemer. The prompt was red, btw. (It may not be obvious, so I'd like to point out that his earring is a golden fish hook.🪝🎣)
"Footima, the Sea Snail(?)"
The prompt was friend. So, here's my dear friend, Footima. 🥰😂

Go here for Part 2
Lexicon of Creatures
Profiles of the creatures of Primp Town. All contents were approved for public consumption by the subjects of the articles. One must first prove themself as worthy to the subjects of this volume to be allowed to browse it.
The Ocean Prince Born March 5th(Pisces)
Blood Type: 0 Special Skill: finding servants Favorite Thing: traveling incognito Least Favorite Thing: state business
A freedom-loving prince. Currently on the run from his personal attendant, hence why he chose to take this form.
(Translator's Note: Duplicate of his profile in the Boy's Lexicon. Guess His Majesty was too important for just one entry...)
Dongurigaeru (The Acorn Frog) Born March 31st(Aries)
Blood Type: AB Special Skill: rolling around Favorite Thing: whistling Least Favorite Thing: snakes
A common type of frog. Moves around quickly by rolling in its shell. Very difficult to catch.
The Onion Pixie Born September 29th(Libra)
Blood Type: ? Special Skill: playing tag Favorite Thing: Oniko Least Favorite Thing: Gogotte
A small youth of a race of imps. Targeted by Gogotte, who suddenly showed up in his peaceful forest turf.
(Translator's Note: His "special skill" is a pun. The game "tag" is called "Oni-gokku", so "The Oni's game" in Japanese, which fits with his name. The Manga/Anime Urusei Yatsura uses the same pun, btw.
Btw, Onion Pixie sharing his birthday with Klug is probably intentional, since early developer comments stated that a lot of Klug's insecurities come from how average and unremarkable he is in pretty much every single aspect. I suppose there is nothing more unremarkable than sharing your birthday with an onion-)
Oniko Born April 29th (Taurus)
Blood Type: ? Special Skill: making Onigiri Favorite Thing: Sig's hair Least Favorite Thing: her skirt blowing up
A small maiden from a race of imps. Even though she already has a romantic partner in Onion Pixie, she seems to be smitten with Sig now!
(Note: Another pun. "Onigiri". "Oni". Harhar-)
Baldanders Born November 23rd(Sagittarius)
Blood Type: B Special Skill: "shake, boy!" Favorite Thing: Feli Least Favorite Thing: being left home alone
A creature from another dimension that appeared by mistake during Feli's summoning practice. He's a needy boy who loves people.
Franken Kid Born February 1st(Aquarius)
Blood Type: 0 Special Skill: electrical engineering Favorite Thing: candy Weakness: cavities
The creation of Franken Dad, brought to life by lightning strike. Clever beyond his age.
Franken Dad Born February 11st(Aquarius)
Blood Type: 0 Special Skill: crafting Favorite Thing: lightning Weakness: loneliness
An artificial human, created by a scientist and brought to life by sorcery. Not especially smart.
(Translator's Note: Franken Dad not being smart seems to have been somewhat retconned as of Quest, when he seems to be just as capable and intelligent as his son, he just isn't verbal.)
The Hoho Bird Born December 5th(Sagittarius)
Blood Type: 0 Special Skill: Hoho Dynamic! Favorite Thing: The Peace of the Town Weakness: Moonless Nights
A large bird who has delusions of being a superhero. His eyesight is terrible, so he often crashes into objects.
(Translator's Note: Just like how Franken Dad's "Nonverbal=Not Smart" was retconned away, Hoho Bird's glasses also haven't been used for any punchlines since he's reappeared in Quest. I guess Sega probably realized ableism isn't funny some 10+ years ago- Thank goodness.)
Carbuncle Born ?/?
Blood Type: ? Special Skill: ? Favorite Thing: ? Weakness: ?
A yellow creature that came from another world alongside Arle. It wants to each curry.

Get ready for a really long post!
Both Belior and the Abyss have their own planes! (Not the flying kind) Belior's is chaotic and beautiful, obviously, and the Abyss's is barren.
Belior's plane is made up of almost every art piece that is of a place, real or imagined, and they fit together seamlessly. All sentient creatures are removed from the art though. Instead, the plane is populated with ghosts! Oddly enough, they are completely solid there and behave like living beings! There are creatures of all species that exist in Belior's dimension, as every thinking creature in that dimension has a kind of soul that goes to his plane. Belior can choose not to include an art piece, but does so infrequently. The skill of the artist doesn't actually matter, as it is what they intend or imagined that does. Since he gathers art from many different dimensions, the result is a hodgepodge of styles, with fantasy, sci-fi, and modern locations. The plane is infinite, and constantly growing as more art is added. Ghosts can move instantly from place to place, but often choose to settle in an area that is familiar to them. Ghosts are able to eat, sleep, breathe, etc., but don't need to. However, since there's a lot of art that depicts good food, they usually choose to. Ghosts in Belior's plane cannot be harmed, but predators still exist, since again, all kinds of creatures. (The creations of the Abyss don't have souls btw.)
Since all of the souls go to Belior, including evil ones, the prisons and asylums are used to contain them and, if possible, reform them. this basically results in a kind of Purgatory. However, not all souls are willing to change. With these, Belior often wishes he had the option to send them somewhere else, such as sending cultists of the Abyss to the Abyss's plane. Unfortunately, the Abyss has no ability to hold souls, as they are not in its domain.
Speaking of the Abyss, let's talk about its plane.
It's an infinite black desert with no real sky. The only light comes from the glowing red eyes of the Abyss. It is inhabited creatures of the Abyss, almost all of whom want to kill you. There are also glowing red eyes under the sand, and occasionally a strong wind will blow by, uncovering some eyes and covering others. I don't know what causes the wind. Oddly enough, since the sand is essentially decayed matter and energy, it's actually incredibly fertile. However, things can't grow in the Abyss's plane, so it doesn't really matter.
Occasionally during your travel through the Abyss's plane, you'll come across random bones and things. These are the bones of failed creations by the Abyss. They do not look like skeletons of natural beings, as they are often in very strange, disturbing configurations. Luckily, it's not all bad! There is a species that lives in the Abyss's plane that intends you no harm! They are a failed improvement on Chaos Wraiths (a creature I will describe soon) to make them stronger and more intelligent, but their intelligence gave them enough free will for Belior to step in. The Abyss cannot harm them without harming itself, so they get to stick around! They appear as humanoids made of black smoke, but can manipulate their shape into any form as needed. Most of them have orange eyes, but a small few have white. These white eyed Deep Ones, as they are called, are completely invisible to the Abyss. The Deep Ones are nonbinary, but can present however they want. They communicate solely through telepathy, but will only communicate with those they trust. Although they can leave the Abyss's plane, it isn't easy. to date, only three have been known to do so, and one ended up stranded in another dimension entirely, cut off from the Abyss. (I know what happened to them, but it is completely irrelevant to the books unless I decide to write a 900 book series with basically no consistent plot, which I will not be doing thank you.)
When one of the Deep Ones is cut off from the Abyss, they appear as albino humans and have no abilities beyond that of an ordinary human, other than that they do not seem to age. These forms reflect how the Deep One presents themselves. Of the two escaped Deep Ones still in Belior and the Abyss's dimension, one managed to cut themselves of from the Abyss and travels the planets as a researches, and the location of the other is unknown.
Chaos Wraiths, on the other hand, are weird. They are made almost entirely of black smoke. They are a bit like genies in their structure, having a tail in place of legs. They have a ribcage that can bend, allowing them to hold victims on place either to kill them or transport them as prisoners. They have four arms, each with a four long clawed hand on the end, as well as a hand on the end of their tail. In place of a head, they have a sphere of black smoke floating above their shoulders. In the center of this black smoke is a glowing red eye. Chaos Wraiths can turn entirely into black smoke and pass through small gaps. If you are scratched by one of their claws, the area around the wound begins to a kind of accelerated entropy. This entropy can be countered and stopped from spreading by cauterizing the wound with Sparkflame (Belior's fire).
As a reward for reading this, you get to know a thing! I fully intend to use both of these planes in the finale, and potentially before that! The Deep One who cut themselves of from the Abyss is a friend of Belior's, and should begin to show up in the Ryft and Prisma in the later books! Additionally, they are one of the generals in Knights of the Dawn. The other Deep One... I have a vague idea of what I want to do with them. They might feature in yet another series, this time as the only main protagonist, or they might appear on one of the other worlds. I like them though, they're fun. Also incredibly scared of people.
TL:DR Belior's plane is made of art and full of ghosts, the Abyss's plane is an evil dark desert full of monsters.

I could post regular Narnia headcanons...
Or I could post the continuation of this post and go into depth about how Eustace and Caspian are affected by deity Narnia. Welcome back to Inhuman Narnia 101 and it turned out just as long as the first one so buckle up.
Check out this post by @dorianviolet for another awesome version of Inhuman AU Caspian
Warnings for slight body horror mentions including blood magic stuff, slight religious themes and theological discussion towards the end.
Before anything: This AU directly contradicts canon a lot. I don't care, that's why it's called an AU. Some of it is deliberate, some of it is accidental. I haven't read the books in a number of years, so this is all based on the movies and general information I've picked up from fanfic and tumblr. Discussion on this post is welcomed, criticism and arguments are not. Thank you.
First off, here is the link to an exploration of Dragoning, the Eustace-centric fic I wrote about this. I refer to it repeatedly in this post so if you want the full thing, there it is.
Second, let's get into this. So in my last post, I talked a lot about Narnia, her general existence in this AU, and her motivations as a character. She wants the people in her world to be a part of her, and no one else. Some of this is a conscious choice, and some of it isn't. Eustace's changes throughout his time in VOTDT are definitely not purposeful. It was his greed that drove him to the treasure, it was his own "curse" in becoming a dragon. That was not Narnia reaching out to him and purposefully trying to mold him to her world. As such, he takes on more of an observing role.
Eustace doesn't ever actually directly address his cousins on the subject of their inhumanity, in this fic or in any other I write. He simply sees it, notes it happening, and moves on. Even in the sections in my fics where the subject of inhumanity in general is brought up between Eustace and one of his cousins, it's always about Caspian, the greater Narnian world, or himself.
"Eustace asks why, and Lucy answers. Narnia changes people, she says. It happens to everyone, but the closer you are to her Heart, the greater it is. I don't know where Dragons are. Perhaps closer than we realized. It's exhilarating, isn't it? Aslan will return us to normal though, at the end of our journey." - AEOD
I don't know why, but I don't like the idea of Eustace trying to directly address the Pevensie brand of inhumanity. That line above takes place after his UnDragoning, after the way he sees things has changed, and I see it as him asking what exactly has changed, you know, why are Dragons different than boys?
That brings me to how Eustace himself changes. Now, if he hadn't gone and turned into a Dragon, I imagine Narnia wouldn't have taken much note of him. He's a random human, stuck-up, not at all in line for ruling her lands, and just kind of exists without much else going on. She still would have affected him a little, as she does to all humans in her world but it would have been almost entirely spiritual with no physical changes. And then we got the greatest fuck around and find out scene ever. He becomes a Dragon.
I love dragons, always have, I have a very deep spiritual connection to these creatures, and as such, I have gone all out on worldbuilding for Narnian Dragons. Again, the quote from AEOD, "...the closer you are to her Heart, the greater it is. I don't know where Dragons are. Perhaps closer than we realized." In the Inhuman AU, Dragons were the first creatures Narnia (the deity) and Aslan made when they created Narnia (the world). They just really liked the dragon shape from other worlds and thought, "Hey wouldn't it be cool if our world was populated by these big fire-breathing lizards?" Now I don't actually remember how often Dragons are mentioned and/or featured in the books so I'm going with my idea that Dragons are a somewhat rare but not extinct species. They have to be created through magical means, often through physical transformation of people or objects, though there are a few known cases of natural-born Narnian Dragons. Eustace's creation was the curse on the treasure, though I don't see his Dragoning as a curse itself. As in, the curse isn't in the being a Dragon, it's in how the Dragon was created. So, Eustace experiences this accidental change into a creature that's closer to Narnia's Heart than pretty much any other being in Narnia. They were her first creations, forged from the fire in the Stars, and they are the closest to her magic. And that gets her attention.
Now, if you went and read AEOD, you'll have noticed that one of Eustace's biggest changes (aside from the obvious physical ones) is his vision. This is just a natural thing for Dragons, they are far more in tune with magic and the earth and everything than everyone else, but Narnia's special interest in him definitely amplifies the hell out of his magic sense.
"The people here say dragons see the oddest of things, and he has to assume it's a hallucination....He refuses to give into its whims, reminds himself it's just his imagination. Until Reepicheep comments on it." - AEOD. Following this quote, Reepicheep mentions to Lucy that her inhumanity is returning faster than Edmund's and Eustace has a total panic attack at the idea that what he's seeing is real. He sees what everyone else does, Lucy's stained fingers and Edmund's ability to manipulate words, but he also notices stuff no one else does like the stars in Edmund's throat and the echoes that follow Lucy's words. This is further cemented after his UnDragoning, where the extra stuff he perceived has vanished. Now the general idea in this AU is that the closer to Narnia's Heart you are, the more you know and perceive. Everyone can see some of the more obvious inhuman aspects of the Pevensies, but there are things that only Dragons, druids, Stars, and some other magic folk really close to Narnia's Heart see. I'm not going to get into an exact chart of what certain characters can and cannot see because that can change over time and such and I'd rather leave it mostly up to personal interpretation on what other characters do and do not perceive about the Pevensies and other such inhuman characters.
(Side note—I had to pause in the writing of this post here to go to my second meeting for an autism assessment and I think if I just showed the doctor my notes app and the inhuman/dark fantasy narnia tag on my blog, I'd get the diagnosis instantly lol) So anyways, Narnia senses Eustace becoming a Dragon and is like "Ooohoo what's this?" and starts sort of digging into him in the same way she does to her Kings and Queens. This triggers his already enhanced perception of Narnia (the world) to get even stronger, and this is when he starts seeing stuff like people's souls, Caspian's second heart (more on that soon), and looking at Lucy/Edmund/Lilliandil becomes almost painful because Narnia's magic is so bright in them. Aslan then UnDragons him, which Narnia really doesn't like btw, and Eustace is back to being a fairly average human.
This is where stuff established in AEOD ends.
Now I have so many ideas and half finished fanfics written out in my notes app about Eustace, UnDragoning, and inhumanity and it would be impossible to cover them all here, so I'm just going to go with the highlights. One of my favorite ones is the idea that after Eustace's UnDragoning, he still feels very connected to being a dragon. He's had this taste of pure inhumanity, and something like that doesn't just leave a person. There's a fic I read once long before I was fully invested in this fandom about Eustace and draconity that I will never stop thinking about and was actually the reason I started considering Eustace and Narnian Dragons in this AU. One of the really important things to note is that once a Dragon is created, they can never be uncreated. They can be UnDragoned, where their physical form is returned to whatever it was before their Dragoning (a rock, a talisman, a faun, etc) but their soul has changed on a fundamental level to that of a Dragon. Now for Eustace in my Inhuman AU, this manifests spiritually as a deep longing to return to being a Dragon. Physically, he experiences fun side effects like increased heat tolerance, nails that grow faster than normal, and because Narnia likes to meddle, a single ridge of scales along his spine. In some versions of my drafts, he stays at the end of VOTDT and experiences a slow Dragoning because Narnia's influence on him is that strong, other versions he stays but never quite returns to the Dragon he was before, and in yet other versions, he returns to England and loses that connection enough that physically, he will never be a Dragon again. As I said, Narnia is fascinated by him, she's never really had a human Dragon before, but he is still just a random guy who happens to be related to the Pevensies and as such, she doesn't invest as much time or magic into his inhumanity.
So that's Eustace. This is already such a long post but I promised to talk about both him and Caspian so here we go.
Now, in my last post I talked a bit about how Narnia (the deity) affects the other humans in Narnia (the world) to an extent, but it's nowhere near the amount she does to her Kings and Queens, and also this diminishes more and more the farther you get from Narnia (the country). Telmar is fairly close to Narnia (the country) but as we see in PC, a lot of Narnia's magic and spirit has been diminished by the time Caspian is born. Up until the awakening of the land during the battle, Caspian is essentially 100% human. However, this changes very quickly.
It's hard to pinpoint the exact moment Caspian becomes a King of Narnia. Is it when he refuses to kill Miraz? Is it when Aslan tells him he's one? Is it during his actual coronation? Yes, yes, and yes. I try not to pin it down to an exact moment. By the end of PC though, he's definitely noticing some changes in himself. I have an unpublished part 2 to an exploration of Inhumanity (my only other actually posted fic on this stuff) that I swear I will clean up and get posted soon that goes into further detail on the changes he's noticing at the end of AEOI. Some of the big ones include a second golden heart, seeing some of the life magic in the world around him, and a golden glow on his palms. He also slowly develops the ability to heal, though it's not always consistent. Magic takes practice, lots and lots of practice. In pt 2, the glow on his palms has gotten so bright and also spread around his head like a halo, and Lucy shows him how to conceal it so he's not impossible to look at, but because of Magic™ there's still a dusting of golden powdery stuff across his skin. His blood turns golden because Ben Barnes + golden blood is such pretty imagery, and like the others, it gets sucked down and absorbed into Narnia's Heart when he bleeds in battle. Also when I say he's got a second heart I mean he's got a second fucking heart. Ribcage shift and all. (His appearance doesn't actually change, it's more like a pocket dimension thing going on inside him, but he sure as hell can feel it happening). Having Narnia as a patron goddess just means you have to put up with a second puberty sometimes lol.
Anyways, there's a line in AEOI that I feel explains this stuff really well. "He cannot truly protect the land without becoming a part of it himself." Narnia changes her Kings and Queens because she wants them to be a part of her. Aslan doesn't really see these changes as necessary (in canon, a world without deity Narnia, they don't happen), and if the storyline we pick is the one that's the constant cycle of humanity and inhumanity, it's sort of a push and pull between them. Aslan wants the Pevensies, and by proxy anyone else who rules Narnia or experiences these changes, to keep their humanity, to stay as they were Created by him. Narnia, however, wants them to be as much a part of her as she is of them. It's very clear in both the books and the movies that Narnia (the world) is where these characters belong. In the end, they all come home to her (yes, Susan too because fuck Mr. Clive Staples Lewis). Caspian being anything less than fully inhuman is something she cannot handle. She is constantly having to recreate the Pevensies, reestablish her hold on them, only to have them return to England and become mostly human again. Caspian cannot be taken away from her, he is in this world by birth and she is going to do everything she can to shape him into the ruler he needs to be.
Once again, I would like to state that Aslan and Narnia are not opposing sides of good and evil. Gods cannot be defined by human standards, and to think either Narnia or Aslan completely in the right or wrong in this AU would be, well, an interesting standpoint, but really not the one I'm going for here. I'm not going to say it's a misinterpretation, I am very open to hearing people's thoughts on this AU, and everyone's going to see things differently. Just, please reread what I've written about them before you start making that argument.
Anyways, that wraps this post up because I have spent the better part of the past 6 hours writing this. I spent way more time on Eustace than I intended but it's just so fascinating to think about inhumanity from his perspective considering he's the only one in canon that actually was (briefly) inhuman. Again, if you got this far, congratulations! If you use any of my ideas mentioned here, please tag me, I am so starved for inhuman Narnia content lol.

~SD Q AND A (These are all questions from you! Specifically those in my server):~
1. What was Costello like before he became an infernal?
💛 Costello used to be a Celestial of love just like Val. If you split love into two separate entities it would be the passionate romantic side and the side that is all about protection and devotion. These types also reflect in both Costello’s and Val’s Infernal sides. Costello is more about seduction and Val is about possession and obsession. As brothers they tend to work together in their celestial sides. When they fell they split a bit.
2. When he isn't busy what does he do in his spare time?
💛 Oh thats easy! During his time in the Mortal Realm he spent a fair amount of time in the 1920′s era. It is where his style comes from mainly and why the Lust kingdom appears to have that kind of influence within it. He used to be a charismatic bartender during prohibition and that has kind of stuck with him. He enjoys crafting new drinks both for mortals and Infernals (since they can’t get drunk off regular alcohol). He is also an avid reader.
3. What kind of stuff does he read?
💛 Hilariously he enjoys supernatural romance novels because they fascinate him. Why would mortals be interested in a being that could literally end their life easily? As one such being he finds it both amusing and curious. He also reading them to see what mortals are uh... "into". Other than that he likes reading anything supernatural/gothic fantasy based for “research”.
4. Does Costello share the same view on humans as Val?
💛 Val and he at one point help similar enjoyments fo mortal kind. They found that they were were entertaining and rather sweet to observe when falling in love. When they fell all they saw was darkness not just from mortals but also themselves. How lust overwhelms your thoughts and drives you to commit certain acts. Their opinions grew apart when Val was corrupted by their father, Darrius. They only were both brought back due to their brother Nas and the mortal they meet later in time, Evelyn Rodgers. Their nickname for her is Starlight.
5. Does Costello like animals?
💛 Yes he does! He has a specific affinity for the raven.
6. Does Costello have a favorite drink? Alcoholic and non alcoholic.
💛 He enjoys most drinks but specifically a Galaxy Cocktail but with an Infernal twist. When it comes to non-alcoholic I would say that he is more of a coffee connoisseur so things like Mocha. He enjoys sweet things but not to the level that Val does. (btw that cocktail looks like this)
7. Would Costello be willing to befriend humans?
💛 Before the fall, absolutely but after the Fall and before Eve? No. Humans are just tools for his amusement and entertainment. I should mention that Costello while his father is in power goes off the rails... and is extraordinarily dangerous only when Nas pulls him back from that does he mellow out. During the 1920's he still has a superiority mindset and a master of emotional manipulation. He is however far...FAR more mellowed out at this time which is why he humors Eve the first time they meet.
8. What are Costello’s responsibilities in his kingdom? 💛 It really depends on when in the timeline you are asking about. If we're talking before Nas ascends to the throne of the realm? Then Costello's duties were much less. He assisted Nas who was High Prince of Lust at the time. He studied and learned, ready to take over for Nas if the other needed to leave or otherwise. Now that he is High Prince himself? His duties include the hefty amounts of paperwork ensuring every soul is accounted for. New souls that hold purity to fall under Nas' new ruling, getting where they need to go if they landed in his kingdom. He also handles some punishments for the wicked. He has to run the entirety of Lust kingdom. Valentine... yanno... somewhere... X’D (trust me he probably isn’t the best one to ask)
~Souly Damned Timeline~
Creation of the Realms: The Celestial, Infernal, and First Mortal Realm come into being. The Infernal realm is closed off leaving the Celestials to guide and shape humanity. There are intermittent wars with the Infernal beasts and Imps when they manage to break their gates. The garden of Paradise was also created at this time which houses those most loyal to their “gods”. It is also a fact that the Celestial blooded creatures were created at this time (unicorns are a good example, light fantasy creatures). They were placed in the Garden.
The Celestial Civil War: Darrius and his sons rebel against the ways of the Silver City only to be stricken to the Infernal Realm. After this event the gates to the Celestial Realm are shut and mortals are forced to fend for themselves.
The Rise of the 12 Princes: The now fallen Celestials begin to corrupt the souls of the mortals present being known as the Seven Deadly Sins. The mortals are easily swayed by their new rulers dubbing them King and Princes. Each one with its own people and territory to preside over. In this time the Princes begin to succumb more deeply to their darker sides, now shunning their once Celestial blood.
Blood Moon: A period of time in between the rule of the Princes in the First Mortal Realm where 4 Princes began to experiment cruelly with their own corrupted blood and the mortal soul. The Infernal blooded hybrids come from this part of the timeline such as vampires, werewolves, and the fae.
The Vinculum Infernalis (Witches/Warlocks): With the Celestials gone the mortals were now forced to fend for themselves. In desperation they plead with their Fallen overlords to aid them. A blood binding contract was struck between them giving them magical abilities and a new tie to the Infernal Realm. This was also the creation of the first covens.
Maintaining the Balance (Hunters): Enraged by the tilt of the balance of the universe in Infernal favor the Celestials decide to form a similar bond with mortals creating the first Celestial blooded humans. They would eventually be called the Hunters as their “divine” task was to eradicate the First Mortal Realm of the Infernal Blooded abominations now that the Princes favored the newly created realm.
Long Live the King no more: After millenia of creating havoc and bloodshed without consequences the Princes begin to doubt the leadership of their father. They have slowly changed their mindsets about mortals all together after so much time. Instead of destroying everything in sight and soaking the earth with blood they begin to have an attachment. Their fathers' ways are despotic so in response to this Nasaros, the eldest, usurps his throne. A second war is waged between those of Infernal and Celestial blood turning the First Mortal Realm into an almost apocalyptic wasteland filled to the brim with monsters and ruins. The Princes lose the war doing substantial damage to the Celestial Realm. It was no longer habitable and so a new balanced realm was created for the mortals to live in peace without fear of Celestial driven war or demonic influences.
The Locking of the Gates: The gates of the three Realms are shut and locked in the beginning of the birth of the New Mortal Realm. The Princes are forced to make a new Kingdom within the Infernal Realm to which they have been banished. This forms “Hell” in which the decisions of a mortal's life determine where they go. If they revel in the original 7 sins then they are placed in the kingdom in which they over indulged in. The silver City was once again open to those of virtue but only after death. With no direct interference from either side the humans evolved and advanced on their own. This is what we know as the world today while the First Mortal Realm was now labeled as an in between realm. One that would eventually be called Purgatory, the realm of beasts, monsters, and the supernatural.
Bloodswap: A story set after the time frame of Blood Moon and the creation of the Hunters. It is about 2 brothers that become infected with a vampiric blood that is now turning their town to shambles. The gates have been sealed and those forced to live in Purgatory struggling to survive. The mortals have progressed slowly despite being an older realm. They are currently in what we would consider the middle ages with the help of Celestial technology. Once the gates are unsealed for the New Mortal Realm a new world order begins to form. (Crimson would be proud of his new vampiric race that has slowly taken over Purgatory, now more civilized as the rulers).
The New Mortal Realm and Purgatory: Purgatory remains in ruins though there are mortals that live in this apocalyptic wasteland of a world. That also includes monsters and hunters. Over the Centuries cracks within this forgotten realm have released some of its inhabitants into the New Mortal Realm (NMR). The original bloodline of the first covens also were able to make it into this new world fleeing from Purgatory with the help of their Infernal masters. The Mortal Realm is now in the modern day where many of the Infernal or Celestial blooded mortals or beasts hide in plain sight. Even some of the most vicious have adapted to this new apparently “magic-less” world.
Note: The gates are no longer locked indefinitely for either of the two main realms; this is why demons are able to make contracts with foolish mortals. The Celestials have been forbidden from interfering for fear of repeating the past but that does not mean that they do not do so. It is rumored that around the world are organizations created to combat in secret those Infernal blooded that lurk in the dark. Meanwhile the covens are more focused on their own material pursuits having been persecuted for centuries (Salem Witch Trials as an example).
Ossibus Inferni (1920’s; NMR):
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Main Plot Synopsis: During the era of the 1920’s a young lady named Evelyn Rodgers finds herself thrown into a Hellish Civil War. She is a small PI (Private Investigator) hurting for cash and jobs in a place wrought with problems. In an effort to make a better name for herself she begins to investigate the rise of crime and strange occurrences happening in her city. There are suspicious disappearances, missing persons reports, and extra violence that couldn’t be missed by human eyes, right? It just does not seem to add up. Determined and with nothing to lose she is able to put together a series of connections by using some none to savory contacts.
She finds out that the potential epicenter of these events are tied to owners of one of the swankiest and popular clubs in town. It is suspected that it is a speakeasy but that is not what has drawn her attention. It would appear that the family running the place have been a mystery to nearly everyone even though they have been around longer than they can recall. No one knows what the owners look like due to usually having their signature fedoras on. Ones that she can place all around the city through various photographs. It could be anyone, right?
Regardless of the information that she has collected she decides to go undercover to the club, Ossibus Ignem (Fire and Bone), in order to confirm her suspicions. She decides that auditioning for one of their most prized gigs is a good way to get into their inner circle and perhaps get a glimpse of her potential employers. Eve wants the truth and nothing but the truth though this plan is incredibly risky. Even if the brothers, as she finds out later, are not the cause of these events they could still be nefarious. No one likes a spy, especially one that’s gained their trust.
As she enters she realizes that it is packed like the rumors have told her. She does not get out much due to her job but she is dressed to the 9s in a beautiful dress of the time ready to put her plan into effect. Instead of waiting around she heads to the bar where she is spotted by the seemingly charismatic bartender which she manages to strike up a conversation with. She tries to pick his brain over a drink that he generously slides her way. It would seem that the establishment is already breaking the laws of Prohibition. That much is already confirmed.
He seems like the friendly sort, platinum blonde hair and a dazzling smile. Eve being a PI calls into question how perfect he actually looks but puts the thought off. She could have sworn his eyes were far more vibrant than what was humanly possible too. When she glances at him again however they appear to be a light brown instead. Things are already strange as she continues to speak with him only to find out that he is in fact one of the brothers that work at the club. It turns out to be a family business. He introduces himself as Costello -.
Eventually their conversation is cut short by Costello taking her to the back of the house where presumably his brother is waiting for her to do her little gig. She paces back and forth nervously in her dressing room only to not watch where she is going, running into a tall individual. His pinstripe suit, fedora, and bright red tie cause her to pause only to be greeted with a shiny golden toothed smile. The strange thing about it is that it is shaped into a fang/ canine tooth. It is a little off putting but the stranger introduces himself as the younger brother of the group, Valentine -.
This is someone that she had no doubt is in all the photographs that she had collected. Ultimately he seems nice enough telling her that if she needs anything to let him know and to take her time with her audition. He does appear to have a mischievous flirty side to him especially with her which she tries to distance herself from. He does not make that easy as she can tell he has already taken a special interest in her.
She performs and it would seem that she has a pretty singing voice that leaves the entire crowd roaring in applause. This obviously catches the eyes of the brothers and she gets the gig. Other than a few of the accidental slip ups the boys seem fine with her being around them. She doesn’t pose any threat. After all, she is only human.
Eve begins to enjoy her undercover position but finds herself slipping further and further away from her original objective. The - family puts her up in the loft above the club and treats her well. She learns more about them and more about the family itself. They are pretty open with what they do not even hiding the crime lord status that they are under. Being associated with the brothers is dangerous and therefore they want to make sure she understands what it means to be under the name of -.
She is surprised by their honesty and immediately they gain her trust and vice versa. That is until she realizes why she is there in the first place. After one of her performances she manages to get into Valentine’s room, snooping around. Only to find something she wasn’t expecting of a bunch of crime mafiosos. Instead she finds arcane symbols, tomes, and various other occult items that would lead her to the conclusion that they are in fact dealing with something far beyond the mortal realm. At least that is what she thinks.
The concern only grows when she finds a secret room with even more devilish items. One such item is a series of documents showing the various victims she had been investigating. On top of that information she finds even darker dealings then she suspected and papers scrawled with a script she has never seen before. As she turns to leave the room she freezes to hear Valentine’s voice. He is none too thrilled as he interrogates her but she can’t see his face. All she can feel are skeletal like claws at her shoulders. It’s all in her head right?
When he turns her around she is faced with him looking quite human explaining to her the predicament she now finds herself in. As her confusion grows he keeps her cornered only to be given two choices. One is that she binds her soul to him in the form of a contract and the other, death. Obviously she chooses to live. After this event she is able to see the true forms of all the Infernals in the club, having a panic moment seeing them mingling so easily with unsuspecting humans. Valentine, Luciano, and Costello are the most terrifying in form as they are skeleton looking Infernals. From then on she works in the club learning more and more about their true selves.

Beyond The Veil: Chapter 9
As she and Aizawa approached the door to the principal's office, she noticed he went to slow down to knock but Eras wasn’t dumb.
She saw that camera hidden in the wood of the door.
Without missing a beat, she walked forward through the now open doors as Aizawa faltered for half a second. Muttering the words ‘fuckin rat’ under his breath and Eras took a sharp breath as she held back a snort. Instead, she turned her attention to Nedzu and All Might. The latter was sitting on a couch and the minute Eras turned her head to him and sniffed, she could smell the metallic scent of blood. He was covered in the scent. A tell tale sign of injury.
Not that she didn’t know about that before she entered the room.
Is it really that surprising for a few people to figure out a national secret when it was literally walking around?
“Ah Eras-san,” of course the rat had listened in on their conversation at the gate, “Welcome, please have a seat. Tea?” Nedzu asked, his tone deceptively light.
“Thank you, If you have any green tea that would be delightful. I can only stomach certain kinds of tea.” That was a lie, well kind of. In reality Eras just didn’t like most human drinks or food, preferring coffee and Boba to just tea. Green Tea’s are the only kind she can have without it tasting like getting hit in the face with a bunch of spices. A consequence of her vampire attributes.
“Of course, I'll prepare that right away!” Eras nodded and watched as Nedzu started making the tea before taking her gaze off of him to settle it on the #1 pro.
She narrowed her eyes.
The man flinched.
Good.
“Before we start Nedzu,” an flip of the tail told her he was listening, “I think we could agree that All Might should save his time for when the Bakugo’s get here considering it would be a shock for them to see the hero deflate like a balloon after a 5 year old’s birthday party.”
All Might instantly deflated and started hacking up blood. Nedzu was cackling and Eras could hear the softly muttered ‘deserved’ from behind her where Aizawa was standing, leaned against the wall.
“How?!?” All Might stammered. Eras just sighed and looked at him with a raised eyebrow, her face the picture of unimpressed.
“You are a walking national secret that could potentially throw the country of japan into chaos with merely announcing said injury. I believe it's quite honestly predictable that at least someone would know about it. Besides, Nedzu wasn’t the only individual trying to get access to the veil. People in the veil are beyond what constitutes as human. Especially when it comes to life expectancy. Some people who wish to live long lives to further their ideals come to the veil seeking answers. Supervillains and the like.” The man's face paled at the last part and Eras felt a bit of relief at that.
At least he wasn’t a total idiot when it came to reading between the lines.
(Eras had been keeping track of All for One since she learned of his existence. Even after the man supposedly died, she made sure to keep an ear out.)
“Besides, even if I didn’t know beforehand, as you’ve demonstrated you're consistently either covered in blood, or seconds away from expelling it. I could smell it the moment I walked in here.” Eras stated simply. Reveling in the man’s confused fear.
That was until a tea cup was placed in front of her.
Nedzu was vibrating with glee.
Oh. Oh no. She had forgotten Nedzu didn’t know what race she was yet. Fuck.
“Thank you.” she said, conveniently ignoring her slip up. What he doesn’t know can’t be used against her.
“You're quite welcome. The Bakugo’s will be here in another 20 minutes since it does take a bit of time to arrive from their place of work.” The rat smiled that polite smile that grated her nerves wrong. That was the fake smile of something inhuman trying to act as society demands.
Just like her own tight lipped smile.
She sighed and turned to Nedzu. Eyes that were once black were now glowing a toxic green as she allowed herself to smile fully, fangs displayed for everyone in the room to see. Ignoring the sharp intake of breath from the occupant still leaned against the wall and sputtering All Might, Eras kept her gaze on Nedzu. Conveying with her inhuman qualities that she wouldn’t judge him.
The feral smile she got in return was satisfying.
“You can ask Nedzu. You have 20 minutes after all.” Eras allowed her eyes to dim back to their black and returned to her usual smile.
Nedzu kept his feral smile in place as his eyes gleamed and Eras came to a conclusion. She liked the chimera. Sure she will still call him rat man and other nicknames but he was truly just curious. Also, he stopped at verbal answers instead of testing every and anything like the elves.
“Based on what I’ve seen, you're a vampire. Though you do greatly contradict the basic stereotype for your kind found in lore and novels. Evident especially with the green glow we were allowed to witness, as well as having short fangs on the bottom row of teeth with the usual top and longer ones. Is that the norm or are you different?”
Right for the gut huh? Eras returned her sharp smile to her face. She could appreciate intellect and getting to the heart of a matter quickly and efficiently.
“As you’ve already hypothesized,” she saw Nedzu’s grin grow wider, “I am not normal for my kind. Specifically, my title is an ‘Origin’, in lore and new veil members though, I am referred to as a pureblood. True to the name, I was born the way I am a long time ago.”
“How intriguing. Muska had informed us before but vampires were the original members of the veil and held most of the information. I won’t press for more since we were already told we were going to be limited, however what exactly is the hierarchy like for Vampires? I assume Origin is a title for someone relatively high on the social hierarchy.”
Eras leaned back in her chair, sighing a bit as she remembered the fact that she was directly involved in politics, even if she was only called upon for those meetings, but she shook her head to get back on track.
“Essentially, we are ruled through clans, which then are ranked socially and politically by generation. Not generation as in blood descendants but generation by creation.” Eras shifted a bit as she gestured to her fangs. “Purebloods can create vampire brethren, fledglings, through a process I will not explain for reasons. These are known as 1st generations and resemble what you’re used to except things like weakness to silver and garlic. Honestly, I have no clue as to where that comes from. As you expect, anyone they turn are 2nds and they make 3rds. There are rules in place for those who are 4th generation though because at that point, for unknown reasons, the created creature is not a vampire but a Parafron, a bloodthirsty hunter that loses its mind within the first 100 years.”
Nedzu seemed to catch the implication because his eyes seemed to gleam brighter, if that was possible.
“You're a clan leader.” He simply stated. Eras nodded with a small smirk.
“Yes, as you may have noticed, I have a… mark... on my neck. Contrary to belief, I didn’t get a tattoo. I was born with it to mark what clan I’m from. A side effect from being an origin. My clan, however, is smaller than the rest due to my specific responsibilities that come with the mark.”
She could tell Nedzu noticed she was skirting around names and titles. Thankfully the chimera simply nodded and looked towards his computer. His smile dimmed and the gleam faded from his eyes as he turned back.
“Seems the Bakugo’s have arrived! Present Mic is currently meeting and leading them here.”
Eras nodded and she returned her now narrowed gaze to an All Might who squirmed. He had definitely forgotten her ire during her and Nedzu’s convo.
A mistake.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Muska was very concerned.
Why?
Greenie was very concerning.
When Eras had left, Muska turned back to greenie who had been spluttering still from Eras' blatant appreciation for saving her ass. The teen looked shocked, as if he didn’t just save her from third degree chemical burns. Sighing, which grabbed the teen’s attention back to her, Muska raised an eyebrow and stared at Midoriya.
“Did you expect her not to thank you? You literally dragged me out of the way of an explosion while I was frozen. Admittedly, not my best moment. You acted just like a hero and all that jazz, you deserve the thanks. Oh btw, when Eras means if you need anything, she means if you need anything. Even hiding a body she’d help as long as she gets plausible deniability.” Muska said, watching as very green eyes started to water.
At the last bit, Midoriya let out a wet snort and held a hand to his mouth to muffle it. Then he darted up, ramrod straight, as he returned wide eyes to Muska’s. He seemed to search her for something which made Muska more than just a little confused.
“Do you mean it?”
It was softly said. She almost didn’t hear it, but when she did she was even more confused.
“Mean what?”
“That I acted like a h-hero?”
“Of course? Why would I lie about that?” she asked, confusion lacing every word in genuine puzzlement.
It seemed that was the breaking point because Midoriya broke out into sobs. Not knowing what to do, Muska stared wide-eyed as her new friend(?) started to break down in front of her. Not knowing if touch would help, which she also really didn’t want to do because she wasn’t fond of contact with people she didn’t know well (nor did she know what to say), she just stared awkwardly. The part that worried her most though, was how near silent his crying was. As if he wouldn’t, no couldn’t, make a sound.
The sobs tapered off and Muska sat up and turned towards Midoriya. She made sure he calmed down enough to listen, but not quite enough for the sheepish ‘I’m sorry’ to finish coming out of his mouth.
“It's a fine greenie. If you’d be willing, mind explaining if I did something wrong? I also assume I’m on friendship level one considering it’s the second day of school so I don’t expect answers but I’d appreciate a heads up. Are they at least happy tears?” Muska made sure her features were softer than normal, a hard earned skill since she had a resting bitch face that scared people away when she wasn’t focused on playing nice.
That and the barking. Could you blame her if it worked in keeping assholes away?
Midoriya snapped his head up and started throwing his hands around in a rejection gesture before he whipped off excess tears in order to speak over the floodgates of his eyes. Seriously, he could probably fill a bathtub.
“Oh no no, these are happy tears! It’s just, no one has ever really said that to me before. The hero thing. So I was just… really happy?” A hand raised to sheepishly hold the back of Greenie's neck as left over tears spilled and a bright red blush poked through tan freckled skin.
“Why wouldn’t they? I mean Hero’s seem pretty important to Japanese society so like, there must have been a few?” Muska said. This conversation was giving her very bad vibes. Like curtains that block you from seeing someone in a hospital bed. All ominous and nerve wracking.
“I uh-” He cuts off, thinking hard about what he was about to say. He glanced over a few times, soaking in the honest confusion on her face, and possibly going over every detail of their meetings so far this year.
“I- I well, I may have manifestedmyquirkduringtheentranceexam-” Midoriya stuttered and launched the words out of his mouth fast enough that they were barely intelligible, only to slam his mouth shut with a click and wide eyes.
“Ok? I am…. Still very confused here. What does manifesting your quirk that late have to do with the hero bit? Granted that does explain your lack of control.” Muska added, somewhat regretting the last bit when Midoriya flinched,
Then, he shot up ramrod straight and disbelief started to enter his eyes as he processed her last statement.
“I was- I was quirkless most of my life?” He added, his posture defensive and prepared to take a hit. Emotionally or physically.
“So?”
A minute passed. Then 2 more.
Midoriya promptly burst into tears again and Muska sighed. A world weary heavy sigh.
She’s so done with everything today.

okay so here’s what ive come up with so far for a quell!aubrey au. major taz amnesty spoilers btw
the quell is a lot more mobile and has a greater role in the upkeep of sylvain in this au. she and sylvain are like the yin to the other’s yang, as there can be no creation without destruction. the quell is why people on sylvain can become ghosts after death, and she is present to serve as a balancing force for sylvain.
she resides in her blood-red ruby fragment for years, and falls in love with the Little family just as sylvain did in canon. she lets herself be reborn in their baby girl, hoping to protect her and maybe, just maybe, find her way back home.
Aubrey Little is a very special little girl. she’s also a bit.... strange. some would call her weird, or creepy, but she’s not actively malicious at all. she’s quiet, reserved, and levelheaded. she’s not pessimistic, but she is more of a realist. she grasps the concepts of pain and death much better than most would expect from a child, and it’s a bit unsettling to those who don’t know her well. she’s still happy, and makes friends easily with those who get used to her slightly off-putting exterior. she’s good at reading people, especially after spending more time with them. she is known as an understanding person, who can seem a bit somber at times.
she isn’t easy to upset, but when she breaks down, she breaks down hard. her outbursts are rare and intense, and it sometimes causes her to do or say things she regrets later. the silver lining to this is that she quickly develops emotional maturity and skill with apologizing as she grows up and tries to improve her coping mechanisms and processing of emotions.
Aubrey adopts more of a goth aesthetic instead of punk rock. she grows up with her role models being wednesday addams and coraline jones. instead of fire-based magic tricks, she becomes interested in witchy, occult magic. she has a respectful interest for the paranormal, and this is what brings her to kepler during a bit of soul-searching after the death of her mother, who passed away due to what was assumed to be a badly-timed carbon monoxide buildup in their home that had been undetected due to a pair of burglars disabling all of the house alarms. Aubrey and her father had been downstairs, investigating the commotion from the intruders, and had both lost conciousness. by the time they had woken up outside, it was too late for Aubrey’s mother.
while in kepler, Aubrey spends a lot of time in the woods. she befriends rangers Duck and Juno, despite the fact that they met when Aubrey wandered into a restricted section of the woods. during one of her excursions, she runs into a monster. it was like a twisted, awful, horribly large bear. she sees it in the distance and flees without another look. the first sign of civilization is the amnesty lodge. she rushes inside, and the woman in charge introduces herself as Mama, and asks what on earth had scared the daylights out of Aubrey. she tries to explain what she saw in the woods, but Mama brushes it off as just a regular bear that she hadn’t quite seen right. reluctantly, Aubrey accepts the explanation, but she’s still wary of going back out into the night. Mama offers her a room for as long as she needs it and has Barclay make her a warm meal.
Aubrey is still curious about what she saw in the woods. the next day, she goes back out to explore, despite herself. she makes her way to where she saw the bear-thing, but it’s nowhere to be found. she does, however, discover an injured rabbit on the forest floor. it has no physical wounds, but it’s breathing shallowly, as if close to death. then, Aubrey feels something..... odd. she somehow knows what the rabbit is feeling, that his life is draining, fading, still terrified of the unnatural, bear-like creature that had been trying to assimilate him into the mass of animals that made up its form. the monster had been interrupted, at the last second, when it sensed a young woman nearby, and it had not returned to finish the job.
Aubrey is gripped, then, by some sort of power inside her she had never noticed before. she kneels next to the rabbit, cradles him in her arms, and then in her very being. the rabbit changes then, going from brown to stark white except for a bit of black around his eyes, which become a deep red. he nuzzles into Aubrey, who feels now that the rabbit is stable again, and also linked to her. she smiles down at him, before they are both startled by a voice.
“Alright missy, the jig is up,” Mama says, approaching her. “I know magic when I see it. Now how long have you been on this planet, what other trouble have you caused, and why haven’t you come to the lodge?”
Aubrey tilts her head, confused. “What do you mean?” She stands, still holding the rabbit. “I really, honestly don’t know what I just did. And, as far as I know, I’ve been on this planet for... ever, actually.”
After a bit of explanation, Aubrey learns from a rather reluctant Mama about sylvain, and the archway, and the abominations. Mama is frustrated, and then downright flabbergasted that Aubrey is somehow human, yet performed sylvan magic without even realizing. Aubrey becomes part of the family, though, and settles in with the other sylphs rather easily after a bit of apprehension. She names her new rabbit friend professor Harold Valentine.
#alex rambles#whew. havent done this much creative writing in a while#taz amnesty#aubrey little#quell!aubrey#quell au#few notes here:#professor valentine is a dwarf hotot rabbit. please look them up they really click w the whole goth aesthetic thing lol#also sorry if this is super edgy i really didnt mean for it to be. in my mind the story would play out pretty similarly to canon#im also imagining sylvain being a sort of antagonist. like the quell but instead of destroying she just makes Too Much#if that makes sense lol#thanks so much to anyone who reads this. it really means a lot

If you have time can I have a scenario where the reader had gotten injured during a fight ( the reader and either midoriya or kaminari are niw pro heroes and live together) and she brushed it off but weeks later it lands her in critical condition and either midoriya or kaminari (you can choose which one you want to do I'm happy with either one) is worried sick about them and is recounting both good and bad memories. You can choose how it ends. Thanks! love your blog btw!😚
Memories
“Two villains have been seen downtown! We need a hero, stat!”
You clicked your earpiece as you made your way over, ready to go into battle. “I’m on my way. Do we know what kind of quirks the villains have?”
“One of the villains seem to have a water based quirk.” There was static on the other end. “The other is unknown.”
Your brows furrowed, knowing that you had to be careful. “Alright. I’ll be there in five!”
Sprinting, you could finally see the spot where the villains were. Police cars surrounded the area, setting up a perimeter for you and the villains as they evacuated civilians.
Getting a little closer, you could see the two villains that had been causing trouble.
One of them, the muscle of the two, was a large, crocodile like creature. Skin and scales meshed together to create a horrifying being.
The second one, you assumed, was the brains of the group. He was a small, pale, sickly man who appeared like he was going to die at any second. He was perched comfortably on the shoulders of the crocodile man.
“Hey!” You yelled, getting their attention. “Stop this immediately!”
Almost instantly, a huge beam of water was sent your way. With a quick jump you evaded the attack and landed a little farther away, trying to anticipate the next attack.
The scaled villain was hissing your way, water dripping from his mouth.
So that’s the one with the water quirk. You thought.
Your glance turned to the older man and you frowned. Now what can you do?
Another pump of water was projected into your direction and you jumped straight up in the air to avoid it. The pressure of the water was high enough to where it could destroy windows and dent cars, and you knew you had to act quickly.
With furrowed brows, you used your quirk and aimed an attack at the scaled villain while being weary of the sickly man. You landed a hit directly on its chest, causing it to stumble backwards a bit.
Taking advantage of its loss of balance, you aimed a kick at its head and caused it to fall over backwards. The sickly man on top let out a grunt of discomfort as he fell off the shoulders of the beast.
“Don’t move.” You threatened, holding your arm up for another attack as you got closer.
The feeble old man weakly crawled to the scaled villain and whispered something to him.
“I said don’t move!” You snapped, eyes on the man.
Suddenly you felt the air around you increase dramatically in humidity. The water vapor in the air was being controlled to this specific area by the reptilian in front of you.
As you inhaled the hot and heavy air, you could feel your lungs fill with moisture. When you looked to the old man, you could see his eyes glowing a ghastly green.
You were so focused on trying to figure out what that man was doing to you, that you failed to notice the air around you go dry.
Your eyes widened as you saw the crocodile villain pounce at you. Shit, I was distracted!
Almost in slow motion, you saw the villain open his mouth, exposing rows of jagged teeth. You closed your eyes and placed you arms in front of you, bracing for impact.
“SMASH!”
Your eyes snapped open at that voice, and you saw a head of familiar green hair standing in front of you. “Izu!”
His eyes stayed on the villain for a quick second to make sure he was immobile, before turning to you. “Are you okay, (Name)?”
“Yeah.” You answered, nodding to the feeble old man. “I don’t know what his quirk is, Izu, so we need to be careful.”
He quickly agreed and the two of you got into a fighting stance, preparing for whatever was to come.
All was quiet as the man rose a shaky finger to point at you.
Your breath hitched in your throat, not sure of what to do. It was like time stood still as only mere seconds passed.
Without warning the man fell forward on the ground, motionless.
“Did he just…die?” You slowly asked.
The two of you edged towards the body, weary of the situation. There was no movement, no sign of life. The villain had died without any warning, after sustaining no injuries.
You and Midoriya looked at each other in shock, before the sound of police officers broke the trance.
“The two of you can head out.” The officer said, nodding to the scene behind him. “We’ve got the rest under control.”
“Are you sure you’re okay, (Name)?”
You groaned as you hid under your blanket. “I told you, Izu, I’m a little shaken up but I’m fine! That old guy was really…weird.”
You felt him wrap his arms around you through the blanket. “I just want to make sure, (Name). You said you think he used his quirk on you didn’t you?”
Poking your head out through the blanket, you frowned. “I’m not sure. His eyes were green but I didn’t feel anything.”
He leaned over and pressed a kiss to your forehead. “Okay, but if you feel something let me know, alright?”
You nodded. “Now let’s get some sleep, yeah?”
One Week Later
You gripped the side of the bathroom sink as you tried to steady yourself. A groan of discomfort left your lips as your head continued to pound.
Midoriya knocked on the bathroom door. “(Name) are you okay?”
Taking a deep breath, you unlocked the door and let him in. “I have a killer headache.” You whined.
With worried eyes, he placed the back of his hand on your forehead. “(N-name) you’re burning up!” He exclaimed, rushing to sit you down on the bed.
You had to lean onto him as he guided you to the edge of the bed. “I think I’ll be fine if I get some Advil or something, Izu. We still have to go to the store, remember?”
“Yeah I do…Are you sure you want to go?” He inquired.
Through the pain, you managed a smile. “Yeah. I’ll be fine, I promise!”
He sighed at your determination, searching the bathroom cabinet for Advil. He grabbed the box along with a bottle of water from the fridge, and gave it to you.
You swallowed the pills generously, relinquishing the refreshing feel of the water down your burning throat.
“Better?” Midoriya asked as he patted your head.
“Much.” You smiled as you forced yourself to get up. “Now let’s head to the store, yeah?”
“What do you want for dinner?” You asked. “Pork katsu or ramen?”
His eyes wandered to the ceiling as he pondered your question. “Pork katsu.” He responded.
“Perfect.” You commented. “I’m going to get some mochi for dessert real quick. You wanna go get drinks in the meantime?”
He nodded, kissing your cheek before he went off to find some decent beverages for your dinner tonight.
After a few minutes in the drink isle, he decided on some berry flavored soda (he saw your eyeing last time) and walked over to the ice cream isle to find you.
He smiled to himself as he saw you standing in front of the glass doors, but quickly frowned when he saw your stoic expression.
His pace slowed as he neared you. “(Name)? A-are you alright?”
“Izu…” You started, turning to face him. “I can’t focus.”
He almost dropped the soda as he saw how dilated your pupils were. They were searching endlessly for something that wasn’t there.
Suddenly you fell onto the ground, your whole body beginning to tremble and shake.
“(Name)!” He screamed as he held your body close to him. “Somebody, call an ambulance!”
“Midoriya Izuku?” A doctor called.
His head snapped up immediately. “Y-yes! What’s wrong with (Name)?”
“I’m afraid I have some bad news.” the doctor sighed. “(Name) seems to display symptoms of a Naegleria fowleri infection. It’s a brain eating amoeba that is causing her brain to swell.”
“W-what? How did she get it?” He inquired.
The doctor crossed her arms in thought. “Have you two visited any tropical, humid areas with warm bodies of water? These amoeba tend to get into the body through inhalation of water through the nasal passages.”
“Tropical, humid areas? No (Name) and I haven’t been-” Midoriya stopped mid sentence and froze.
Wait.
Humidity.
He remembered you telling him that the villain you faced made the air incredibly humid and almost hard to breathe.
Midoriya’s brain went into overdrive.
The villain could only control water. It would be impossible for just the humidity to cause the parasites to grow. No, someone else had to have placed them into the air….
The second villain. That old, feeble, sickly man who used his quirk on you. He must’ve placed the brain eating amoeba in the humid air- the air that you breathed.
But how? Was it some sort of cell mutation quirk? A parasite creation quirk? A dis-
“Mister Midoriya are you alright?”
He didn’t even know he zoned out. “Yes.” He answered, lifelessly. “May I see (Name)?”
He was guided to the room where you were kept. It was already dark out- the two of you would he having dinner right now.
His breath got caught in his throat as he saw you hooked up to IV machines, unconscious.
“Take all the time you need.” Was all the doctor said as she closed the door behind her.
He started at you for a while before he forced himself into the seat next to your bed.
Grabbing your hand he started at you, hoping and praying and wishing that you’d open your eyes and tell him you’d be alright. That’d the two of you would go home and make dinner and kiss each other goodnight.
His mind drifted to the day he first met you.
“Alright class.” Mr. Aizawa had spoke. “We’ll have a new student joining our class today.”
A young Midoriya leaned forward in his seat to spot the newcomer. That was when you entered the class, smiling widely. “Hi! I’m (Name)! I’m so excited to get to meet you all!”
You scanned the classroom and he swore that your gaze lingered on him a while longer.
“Okay (Name). Take a seat behind Midoriya. Let’s get back to work.”
You walked over to where he was sitting, quietly scooting into your chair.
He was as stiff as a board, too nervous to even look back at you. When he felt you tap his shoulder, he froze. “You’re Midoriya, right? Do you mind if I see your notes from the days when I wasn’t here?”
“O-oh y-yeah sure!” He said, digging through his backpack. “S-sorry if t-they’re not g-good…”
You smiled at him. “They’re perfect. Thank you so much!”
He nodded, turning back to the front of the classroom. His heart was racing.
Squeezing your hand, Midoriya wanted to laugh at how nervous he used to be around you.
He remembered how that all changed when you kissed him for the first time.
“Midoriya, do you hate me?” You asked with sad eyes.
He almost broke his need from shaking it too hard. “N-no! O-of course n-not, (N-Name)!”
You looked down, feeling guilty. “It’s just that you kind of avoid me. Avoid talking to me…”
His eyes widened. “I d-don’t hate you (N-Name)!” He stammered. “In f-fact, I actually r-really like y-you!”
He felt his soul leave his body when he realized that he’d accidentally confessed. The shade of red on his face was downright unnatural. “F-forget I s-said that I’m s-so sorry if I made y-you uncomfor-”
“Do you mean it, Midoriya?” You breathed, breaking his ramble.
As he looked into your eyes, he couldn’t help the feelings that overcame him. “Yes, (Name), I do.”
He didn’t process it when you rushed up to him and engulfed him in a hug. “You didn’t stutter that time, Midoriya.” You giggled.
Looking down at you, he smiled. “I guess I didn’t, huh?”
His heart was ringing as he stared into your eyes. You were so close to him. “(Name), can I kiss you?”
You answered his question by pushing your lips to his.
His cheeks flared at the memory. He felt bad for making you feel like he hated you, but he’s so glad that you decided to confront him that day.
Other days, confrontation caused trouble.
“You can’t keep doing this, Izuku!” You screeched at him.
He was in a hospital bed, broken bones littering his body. It was after his match with Todoroki at the Sports Festival.
“I have to (Name)!” He stated. “I need to get stronger if I want to be a hero! If I want to protect you!”
You growled in frustration. “You can’t save anyone from a hospital bed! There are other ways to get stronger that don’t involve you breaking yourself!”
“Why can’t you just support me, (Name)?!” He argued. “I thought you said you’d always be by my side!”
Your hands were just about ready to pull your hair out. “I do want to be by your side, Izuku, but how do you think it feels to see you bloodied and bandaged all the time!”
His brows furrowed- he was getting angry. “If you don’t want to help me become a hero, then just go!” He yelled, causing you to flinch. “I don’t need you!”
The tension in the room was unbearable as he saw your eyes well up with tears. His angry front dropped when he realized what he’d just done.
“If that’s what you want, Midoriya.” You said through clenched teeth. “Fine.”
He frowned at that memory as he looked at your unconscious form. Is this what you felt like when you had to see him hospitalized all the time?
Before he could frown for any longer, he remembered how good it felt to have you in his arms again.
It was his first day back after his hospitalization.
It was a Saturday, and although most students would stay in and relax or hang out with friend, his mind was on you.
He ran to your house, not caring about the weird looks he got from people as he ran by. He needed you.
The force he used to pound on your door was sure to break it. When it finally opened, his heart broke.
You stood there with blank and empty eyes, and the smile he loved was not present on your face.
“Midoriya?” You squeaked. “W-what are you doing here?”
“I’m so sorry (Name)!” He croaked. “I didn’t mean any of it! You were just trying to help me! I never should have said those things to you…No matter how many times I get hurt, you’re always there, (Name)! And…”
He stopped to catch his breath. “And there’s no one else I want by my side, (Name). I’m so sorry!”
“I-Izu..” You sniffled. “I’m sorry too. I should’ve made sure you were okay and instead I just yelled at you! It’s my fault!”
He instinctively moved to wrap his arms around you. You returned it generously, digging your face into his chest.
“I love you, Izu.” You cried.
If it was possible, he squeezed you even tighter. “I love you too, (Name).”
His heart tightened at that memory.
Suddenly, the heart monitor went haywire, your pulse accelerating at a very high rate.
Doctors rushed in and all at once Midoriya was afraid. “Mister Midoriya, please leave!”
A nurse had to use all her strength to push him out of the door as he watched the doctors putting their hands all over you.
The next thing he knew, all he saw was an oak door in front of him and heard muffled voices from inside.
The fifteen minutes that passed were the longest he’s ever waited. He heard a doctor approach him. “Mister Midoriya?” She asked.
He looked up at her, his heartbeat racing in his ears as he waited for her to say something.
She looked down, unable to meet his eyes. “I’m so sorry.”
His whole body went numb. The tightening of his chest made it hard for him to think of anything to say, and even if he wanted to say it, the lump in his throat would’ve prevented it.
Now, he couldn’t make any more memories with you.

One Piece theory
I’m in a mood to talk about a One Piece theory I have. This contains SPOILERS for One Piece’s world/history in general, but I’m guessing about the future so I could be totally wrong on ideas or predictions. I’m trying not to do any major spoilers in this beyond what we’ve learned of the ancient weapons, but if you’re worried about any spoilers at all, don’t read if you aren’t at least through Fishman Island arc.
btw you may read this and go “...yeah, and?? I already thought this too” but I wanted to put it down anyway, if for no other reason than potential amusement 10 years from now to look back and see how right or wrong I was.
Specifically, my theory is about what “one piece” itself is, and what would need to happen in order to achieve it. And why I think “one piece,” as I imagine it being, would end up also fulfilling the dreams of the main characters and many we know.
SPOILERS BELOW
So, let’s look at the ancient weapons as we know them.
Pluton is a ship, capable of massive damage and destruction, built in the Void Century on Water 7. My theory includes that Pluton represents “land” or at least, the elevation level of land - in this case, water/the ocean, which is the baseline level around the world because the majority of the world is water. In other words, Pluton is mid-range in terms of height. It would be used by people who naturally live at that level, aka humans or other beings which can’t just swim around in the sea and have to use a ship to navigate beyond there.
Poseidon is a “weapon” which we later learned is actually a person - specifically, a mermaid princess from the Void Century who had the ability to talk to Sea Kings, which are huge afffff and could do some massive damage. Poseidon represents the lower level or the deep sea - the lowest of the levels in terms of height. It is a weapon which can only be used by a denizen of the deep sea; a mermaid princess, in this case, who naturally would have been able to speak to sea creatures anyway but because of her extra powers she can speak to creatures of an age and size no one else (mostly) can communicate with.
Uranus is the last weapon, and we know nothing about it - except that it could be animate or inanimate, based on Pluton and Poseidon. My theory is that Uranus will be a weapon of the sky or air, something on the level of Skypiea or higher. Possibly even the moon. We’ve seen that there’s advanced technology in use already on the moon, thanks to Enel’s little foray into space. I feel like Uranus might end up being a weapon based on the moon OR be a weapon (or person or creation such as an android or cyborg or etc) which operates from a place of height such as the clouds, sky, or moon, and which is only capable of use by someone who naturally lives there. So, someone from Skypiea perhaps, or the moon people. Or possibly the sky weather wizard dudes, but since Uranus has been thought of as a night god and we’ve seen the technology of the automatons up there, I keep going back to the moon in my mind. But if we tie it to the Void Century, it’s harder to do because according to this One Piece timeline the moonfolk had already abandoned the moon at that time, which makes it seem like Skypiea is a choice again. But Enel clearly met someone up there since then, so... At any rate, Uranus represents the highest level of the weapons in terms of height.
In other words, Poseidon is the sea, Pluton is the land, and Uranus is the sky.
Why this matters is related to my theory and the Void Century.
So, prior to that, there was a great kingdom on Raftel which started gaining power. I keep thinking that kingdom is related to the D family line or at least the D’s in general, but we don’t know. What we do know is that 20 other kingdoms formed an alliance to fight the great kingdom, and those 20 kingdoms eventually won and became the World Government and produced the Tenryuubito - a system which, by this time in the OP world, is corrupt from its dominating power for so long.
We also know that prior to all that, the great kingdom had “built” 3 ancient weapons which I already named above.
Additionally, we know somewhere along the line Noah was brought down to the Fishman Island by Joy Boy in order to ??? - we don’t know for certain, but my theory is to bring the fishpeople and merpeople up to the surface.
We also know that it’s possible in the OP world for someone to have foresight, as Madam Shyarly/Sharley has shown us. And we know that some people can live a long ass time even if they are human in present settings.
Another thing we know is that Raftel is where “one piece” is allegedly going to be found, but no one has been there since Roger and his crew, who won’t really tell anyone what was up. There are 4 Poneglyphs, very specialized kinds called Road Poneglyphs, of which all are required in order to locate Raftel. (From what we understand, you would basically draw an x between these points, and the center is Raftel - x marks the spot) Which means Raftel isn’t something you can just willy nilly stumble across accidentally. There are implications with that, of course, but we’ll leave it for now.
(Just sayin’, though, do we know for certain it’s an island in the sense of the word we usually imagine? The images we’ve seen of it are mostly cliffs with fog or clouds surrounding it, and theoretically the blue at the bottom is water but it doesn’t necessarily mean it is, or if it is water that doesn’t necessarily = the ocean. I don’t have a strong opinion on this part, mind you; just mentioning it because if it’s not a traditional island, that would make it much harder to run across. Such as if it were on or in Red Line itself, or if it were beneath the water or in the sky, or some other unexpected location. But, again, that’s not really part of the theory, just a comment. It could easily just be a regular island that’s hard to find, too. Just seems like it would be a bit easier to stumble across if it is.)
Lastly, what we know is the world is divided into oceans based on the Red Line (a long string of land which goes all around the world) and the Calm Belt (which bisects the world perpendicular to the Red Line, and is two long slices of water where there are no currents and no wind and the Sea Kings thrive - therefore being a mortal danger to normal ships and boats). The Grand Line and New World - a turbulent strip of ocean circling the world - is located between the two Calm Belts and can only properly be accessed through the Red Line due to the Calm Belts (unless you are super special). The rest of the world is constituted of the more normal seas of East Blue, West Blue, North Blue, and South Blue. They span the entire world, but they are broken into their little sections by the Calm Belt/Grand Line on one side, and Red Line on another. Here’s a visual if anyone needs to be reminded. Also, here’s another two visuals which are different ways of looking at it.
This entire system keeps the nations and sea life and peoples and everything of the world all very much segregated from each other.
There is something known as “All Blue” that Sanji is seeking as his dream, where allegedly all the waters of the world pool together, meaning you can find all the sea animals/fish/etc of all the world co-mingling and all available. As a chef, he loves this idea.
We know a lot more things too, but it all ends up on tangents from what I wanted to get at now for my theory:
Personally, I think “One Piece” is the world becoming one world, by breaking down the Red Line, which I think was erected by the World Government or someone else in some way during the Void Century (or, barring that, was somehow taken advantage of by them). I think the three ancient weapons were made so that everyone had to work together to use them - people of the sky, the land, the sea - so that no one nation and no one people would become a danger of completely subjugating another.
If you look at the way the world is broken into pieces, a lot of it is based on the currents. The Grand Line is mega fucked because the currents are weird as hell, and the only law on that side of the world is the magnetism of the islands. In order to reach the Grand Line from the Blues, you have to scale a great mountain using what’s basically a backward sea current, which happens because all these different oceans try to meet at the same place and the pressure shoots the water upward and over into the Grand Line.
These ocean currents also probably play into the formation of the Calm Belt.
But when you look at WHY there are these wonky ass currents, personally I believe the Red Line is a large reason for it. That is what causes the water to be unable to flow all around the world, that is what stops people from being able to migrate between countries, and it’s only through the Red Line that you can “easily” access the Grand Line/New World which is sandwiched between the Calm Belts. In a world of water, the Red Line is the outlier as the only massive strip of land which bisects the entire world. Everywhere else, it’s islands.
Also, whether by design or simply by taking advantage, the World Government controls a lot of the migration of people and more by controlling essentially the ports and gates of the Red Line. The Red Line allows them to exert inordinate control over a world otherwise easily run or equaled by pirates or just regular seafaring folk. Because the World Govt has its holiest city at the Red Line, and controls Sabaody and other places which are the only way to realistically gain entrance unless you’re willing to risk your lives and your ship by going the more difficult route of the sea floor.
If there were such a powerful set of weapons which could attack from below, at sea, and above, in sequence, it seems like they could at the least break a hole through the Red Line. The Sea Kings are absolutely massive, and if they were to ram themselves against the Red Line the way Laboon did Reverse Mountain, it seems like at the very least they could do some damage. I don’t think on their own they could break through, though, nor do I think a single ship could, nor any weapon no matter how powerful from the sky. The Red Line is incredibly massive, tall, and deep. It would take a coordinated attack on an extreme scale to make it budge.
But imagine a world where the Red Line was gone, or at least opened up significantly. If the Red Line is the reason for the messed up currents, then that could on its own affect the blue seas which would in turn affect the Calm Belts which would in turn affect the Grand Line/New World which would in turn affect the entire world.
If the world were, in fact, one piece, it would mean everyone would have an equal chance, it would mean power could be redistributed, and the people who felt banished to the sea floor could come back to the surface, and the people who fled to the moon or sky could return to land, and everyone would come to know each other and see that they all have meaning regardless of how they look or what they are. It would mean All Blue would happen, because now all the creatures of the sea could swim wherever they want, and a chef in the East Blue could, for the first time ever or perhaps hundreds or thousands of years, see naturally in the ocean a fish from the West Blue.
The Pirate King would be a king who ushered in a new world, a new nation comprised of the world nations as one, but being that he’s a pirate, he doesn’t want to rule it. So it would be a ruler who would let everyone rule on their own, without a governing agency telling everyone what to do and how to do it.
And through the creation of this sort of ‘one piece’ it would, in turn, fulfill the dreams of everyone in the Straw Hats:
Luffy: to be the Pirate King, not because he wants power, but because he wants to be the most free - now he is free to go on any adventure, anywhere, any time he wants
Zoro: to be the strongest/greatest swordsman in the world - now, he can easily travel the world to seek out opponents and rivals and maybe even proteges
Nami: to make a map of the world - now, because it’s all open, she can easily navigate everywhere and create the most complete
Usopp: to become a brave warrior of the sea - there would be no braver warriors of the sea than those who reunited all the seas into one
Sanji: to find All Blue - now, with the world opened to all the oceans, All Blue is everywhere; literally All of the Blues of East Blue, West Blue, North Blue, and South Blue
Chopper: to become a panacea, a doctor that can cure any disease - now he can go anywhere in the world, learn all of the medicine and healing advice from all of the cultures, and he can collect all that knowledge in order to use it to save everyone
Robin: to learn the true history of the world - the process of getting to the point where the world becomes one would likely inherently include learning what happened in the Void Century, but even if it didn’t she could now go anywhere, learn anything, talk to anyone, to learn even more
Franky: to create his dream ship - which he sort of already has done, in Thousand Sunny, but for it truly to be his dream ship he wants to see it around the world, through all these adventures, in all these contexts, and in the process of making the world one, he would do just that. And afterward? He would have that much more world to explore on his ship.
Brook: to navigate the world and return back to Laboon, so he knows he wasn’t abandoned by the crew all those decades ago. They would likely make it back to Reverse Mountain anyway through the process of all of this - because if indeed attacking the Red Line is part of what frees the world then that’s the natural next stop - but even without that, if the Red Line is no longer a barrier, then Brook and Laboon won’t be stuck on either side of the world from each other, and they can reunite anywhere.
Jimbei/Jinbe: TECHNICALLY not a straw hat at the moment, and so therefore we don’t technically know what his dream would be, but based on what we know of him he seems to wish for the fishpeople and merpeople to be free of oppression, to have better relations with humans/their like, and just generally for everyone to be safe. This could happen, with the world as one.
You could get into others at this point -
-Dragon and the Revolutionary Army want a revolution, primarily to wrench control away from the World Government which they seem as corrupt and oppressive (this dream would be met if the World Govt falls or loses its stranglehold on power).
-Coby, Smoker, Fujitora, formerly Kuzan and Garp, and all of the other Marines who see justice as something other than the justice the WG has been enforcing would see a more just justice come to play if the WG is no longer the monopoly on power and world navigation, and if everyone who joins the Marines or WG are able to do so of their own volition, and can affect the nature of the organization through hard work and a genuine passion for helping others.
-Everyone who’s talked about the Will of D would see the ancient weapons of the D empire, Raftel’s great kingdom, come back to the world in a manner which allows the world to regain a sense of freedom it hasn’t had in hundreds or thousands of years
-Alabasta, Dressrosa, Fishman Island, and all the nations who want better relations with other countries, who want a more equal world, would see a greater chance of that coming about with the Tenryuubito and others at the very height of it no longer dictating for everyone else. Including the nations who represent that gathering of nations (as all those I listed do) but who feel their voices aren’t being heard.
-Everyone who wants adventure without near certain death, who wanted to race around the world on a ship but whose dreams were broken by the severity of the Grand Line/New World, would have another chance
-Even the Vinsmokes may have a chance to regain their kingdom, since what seemingly took it away was the World Government
And many more people from many more perspectives. Hell, even Big Mom’s dream of everyone sitting at the table would be sort of achieved through this, except she’s kind of crazy so idk that she’d see it that way since she’s taking her dream to be much more literal than figurative.
Basically, the main people who would lose out in this are the corrupt people using the segregation of the world to their advantage to control traffic flow and monopolize power.
I could go on... I have theories about what may be going on with Vegapunk and more, but my theories are less strong down that line.
For now, I’ll leave it at this.
If anyone got this far, you probably already had all of these thoughts, too. If you did, I’d be curious to see if you have any other reasons for thinking all this which I didn’t mention. I didn’t go into everything for proof or evidence of why I think any of this, so it’s possible you’d be pointing to the same thing as me, but you may have noticed other things I didn’t - so it would be fun to compare :)
And if you hadn’t thought of any of this and you got this far, I’m curious what you think - if you think I’m tooooootally off, or if anything is interesting to you.

Day 4: Pets
Read on Ao3: http://archiveofourown.org/works/12882291/chapters/29520435
Pidge isn’t sure how, but her “trash bugs” somehow escaped her room and now she needed to find them.
Day 4 prompt for Pidgance Month done! Quick shoutout to @myeverlastingship for helping me figure out what I should’ve focused on for this prompt (it was either going to be the trash bugs or the mice) and for helping me figure out the Spanish word for something! I will always suck with Spanish -- Btw, side note: The video that’s linked to the question was just the inspiration for that particular reference, not what actually occurred. XD
Anyways, enjoy !!
Normally, things were pretty calm in between missions for Team Voltron. However, that was “normally.” Today seemed to be an exception for one Paladin in particular.
“Dammit! Where the quiznak could they have gone?!”
And there’s that Paladin in particular.
Currently, Pidge found herself running all throughout the Castleship in search of two little creatures she happened to bring back with her from the trash nebula she landed in when the team got separated all that time ago. Somehow, up to this point, she managed to keep her… pets(?) hidden away from the others, but somehow they’ve managed to escape her room while she was in her hangar.
Sure, they probably weren’t going to cause any trouble as they tended to just watch as people did things, but she was worried about how the team would react to them. She loved the little guys and she didn’t want to get rid of them. This is why she found herself a little scatter minded at the moment.
Of course, a sudden yell from the next hall over made her thoughts focused as she ran to the source. It was Lance who had yelled and when she finally saw him, she also found her two trash bugs, no doubt being the cause for his yelling.
“PIDGE! WHAT THE HELL ARE THESE THINGS?!” Lance’s eyes shot over to Pidge as he tried to back away from the two creatures floating in front of him. The girl in question groaned. Of course, they’d be drawn to the guy that they always hung out on the trash version off.
“Lance, calm down, they’re not going to hurt you…” Her voice was only a mutter as she walked over to the panicking boy and her pets.
“HOW DO YOU KNOW THAT?!”
“They’re mine.”
“WHAT?!” Pidge clicked her tongue a couple of times, causing the bugs to turn and look at her. They floated over to her soon enough, allowing Lance to relax.
“See? They won’t hurt you.” Lance shot her a nervous look.
“What are those things…?”
“I can’t say I know for sure, but remember when we all got scattered across the universe?” Lance nodded. “Well, when I was alone on that trash nebula, a bunch of these little guys were my only company. These two in particular actually came with me into my lion and I couldn’t bring myself to get rid of them… So… they’ve been kinda living in my room this whole time.”
“Wait, you’re telling me that Allura and Coran allowed you to keep two… I don’t know-“
“I call them trash bugs.”
“-Trash bugs, and they wouldn’t let me keep a cool-looking alien plant?”
“Okay, first off, that plant was actually quite dangerous to all of us? The smell caused you to practically become as high as the stars.” Lance rolled his eyes.
“I wasn’t high, Pidge.”
“Yeah, sure. I’ll remember that when I think back to your question that you asked while under the plant’s influence…”
“What question was that?”
“If your leg gets cut off, does it hurt?’” The silence from Lance only proved her point. “Anyways, secondly, they don’t actually know.”
“Wait, seriously?”
“I’ve kept these little guys a secret from everyone. You’re the first person to see them besides me.”
“Pidgey, I can’t believe you’re such a deceiver!”
“Lance, you thought I was a boy until I told you otherwise. Plus, I hacked into the Garrison how many times?”
“…Point taken, but still! How have you kept them a secret.”
“Well, they don’t usually leave my room so that makes hiding them a bit easier… But, of course, they decided to sneak out today. How they did that, I have no idea…” She hummed with a shrug as she felt one of them land on her head.
“…Y’know, they’re kinda cute when they aren’t scaring the quiznak out of you…” The blue trash bug took Lance’s words as a welcome to float back over to him. The Paladin held out his hand and allowed the little guy to land in his hand before he began to pet it with his other hand. “Do they have names?”
“Uh… I never had time to name them before…”
“What?! We need to fix that then!”
“Um… Can we not do that here though? These guys are still kinda a secret, remember?”
“Oh, right! Welp! Lead the way!”
“Huh?”
“…To your room? You said you keep them in there, right?”
“Oh, right-“ With that, Pidge, along with Lance, quickly headed back to her room.
Of course, during the walk, Pidge had a mini-realization. None of the other Paladins knew about the Trash Paladins she made. Not only that, but she had kept Trash Lance and Trash Hunk when she came back. Oh no…
She stopped in front of her door, hesitating slightly.
“You okay, Pidge?” Lance’s voice came from behind her.
“Uh, yeah! I just kinda remembered you haven’t seen my room before… It’s pretty messy…” Maybe he wouldn’t notice Trash Lance and everything would be fine!
“A messy room won’t bother me for a few minutes, but you should ask me to help you clean it up sometime.” Pidge chuckled.
“Unlikely. The messiness is rather comforting.”
“Suit yourself,” Lance hummed with a shrug as Pidge opened the door. The two headed in and the Cuban realized that she wasn't kidding when she said her room was messy. “Geez, how do you live like this?”
“I could ask you the same with your beauty routine,” Pidge shot back with a roll of her eyes.
“Excuse me, my face masks help make this,” he gestured to his face, “a solid 10 every day!”
“Is that on the PH scale because you’re pretty basic, Lance…” There was nothing better than seeing Lance’s offended face in response to her words.
“You wound me, Pidgey!”
“Serves you right for giving me that stupid nickname…”
“It’s a great nickname!” Pidge was unamused.
“Anyways, you wanted to help me name these little guys, so shoot me some ideas… And, please, don’t make them as bad as ‘Pidgey…’” Lance scoffed at her comment before looking at the two trash bugs. At that moment, the two creatures decided to head over to their favorite resting spot, Trash Lance. Pidge felt her heart stop for a moment as Lance watched them head over to her creation.
“Woah, what the heck is that thing?” Oh great. Is it too late for Pidge to launch herself into the empty void of space?
“Uh, what ‘thing?’” Sure, Pidge. Playing dumb was so going to work here. She watched as Lance walked over to the trash version of himself and gestured to it.
“This ‘thing!’ What is it?” Quick! Should Pidge lie or tell the truth? Uh…
“Okay, so that’s a long story…”
“I have time.”
“Ugh… Okay, so while I was stranded on the trash nebula, I actually started to get… worried… I didn’t realize how close I had become with all you guys so when I was isolated and all by myself, I made statues out of you guys so I wouldn’t feel so alone…” Her eyes were locked on the ground, refusing to meet Lance’s.
“And you kept mine when you came back?”
“…Yours and Hunk’s… He’s right behind you.” Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Lance turn to check before facing her again.
“Why keep ours?”
“I don’t know!” Pidge’s eyes shot up to meet Lance’s. “I’ve known you two the longest and I guess I just…” Her voice trailed off. She knew that she kept Lance’s for a different reason than why she kept Hunk’s, so she couldn’t really bring herself to answer honestly. A chuckle snapped her out of her thoughts.
“Oh my god! That’s so cute!”
“What?”
“I knew you actually cared about us and this just confirms it! You made little trash versions of us just to keep you company!”
“Of course I care about you guys! Why wouldn’t I?” The soft look Lance gave her sent a shockwave through her system. The taller boy walked over to her before pulling her into a hug.
“We care about you too, Pidge… …Or, at least, I do.” Her eyes widened at his words as she hesitantly wrapped her arms around him. Did he even know what he was doing to her?
“…Thanks, Lance.” Her voice was soft as she spoke.
“No problem. I’m just speaking the truth.” The hug ended, much to Pidge’s displeasure. The two stood in silence for a bit, just looking at each other until Lance cleared his throat as a warmth spread across his cheeks. “So- Anyways- How about those names?”
“O-Oh, right-! Uh... Do you have any ideas?”
“We could call the green one ‘Pigeon.’” The playful smile on Lance’s face caused Pidge to groan with mock annoyance.
“Lance, no.”
“And we could call the blue one ‘The Tailor’ or just ‘Tailor’ for short!”
“Lance, are you naming them after us?”
“Maybe~”
“Okay, well, if you’re going to do that, can you at least give them better names?” She chuckled at Lance’s pout.
“Fine… How about… ‘Lluvia’ for the blue one?”
“‘Lluvia?’ Why Lluvia?”
“It means rain in Spanish and I’ve always loved the rain.” Pidge hummed in thought before nodding.
“Lluvia… I like it! Now, what about the green one?” Lance only shrugged.
“I think you should name the green one.”
“Hm…” Pidge hummed as she thought. Considering the close bond between the trash bugs, from what she could see, she felt it was only fitting to name the green one something that could be related to rain. “…How about Fern?”
“Like the plant?”
“Yeah! Lluvia and Fern are pretty close and I was thinking about how plants need water to grow so…” She could tell Lance understood what she meant by the soft chuckle he gave.
“Lluvia and Fern… Cute.” Pidge nodded in agreement. After a moment of silence, Lance spoke up again. “Hey, Pidge?”
“Hm?”
“You said plants need water to grow, right?”
“Um, yeah?”
“Well, I was talking to Allura about the lions a while ago and I found out that each lion was crafted with an element in mind.”
“Oh? That’s pretty cool.”
“Yeah, I thought so too. Anyways, it turns out that the Blue Lion is the Guardian Spirit of Water or something like that.”
“Interesting… What’s the Green Lion?”
“The Guardian Spirit of Nature.” Pidge’s eyes drifted to Lance who was already looking at her.
“Lance, are you suggesting something?” Her tone was playful.
“Well, I was just thinking that maybe you’d grow taller if you spent more time with me~” Pidge choked on her sudden laugh before punching him on the arm.
Yeah, she really did care about this dork.
…So did Lluvia and Fern.

A fanfic based on an au of an au of an au, haha.
So I mentioned before that I had an idea based on this idea, where during his travels, Yugi comes across the real Yami, and they join forces. Well, in this spinoff of that idea, crazy shit happens to Yugi and things don’t look well for him or Yami.
So yeah, ink demon!Yugi! :D
Summery: Sometimes you just gotta literally fuse with the man you hate so much in order to kill your doppelgänger.
Warning: body horror, written in detail, lots of… painful sounding events, though are rather short, still, reader discretion is advice
On with the fic!
--
Yugi had lost sight of Yami when they had been swarmed by black dragons and searchers, the little Toon had run to safety, but Yugi hadn’t seen which direction he went into. Gods above, he hoped his friend was safe somewhere. He would call out to Yami, but he needed to keep quiet, it’s been a while since he’s heard whistling and skittering in the pipes…
He quietly walked through the halls, being as careful as possible to not make too much noise, he even avoided stepping in ink puddles to keep from leaving shoe prints. But even with all of his careful efforts, he was spotted.
The walls around him suddenly grew dark with trails of ink, spreading along the old wood. There was shuffling from down the hall, of someone who had a twisted foot. Heavy breathing through clenched teeth sent shivers down Yugi’s spine, and he knew he was screwed, since the hallway he entered led only to a dead end and two locked doors…
Nervously, Yugi turned, holding his axe as he saw the monstrous copy of Yami come around the corner. It turned its head in the direction Yugi was in, and the man swore that fucking grin got bigger.
Your little axe won’t do anything to me, Yugi… “Yami” hissed through those damn teeth and Yugi took a step back. I see you’re alone…
Yugi narrowed his eyes. “He’s safely hidden somewhere you’ll never find him.” He sure hoped so…
“Yami” laughed loudly, with his strange, distorted voice, it sounded like he was laughing into a metal can, and it hurt Yugi’s ears, but at least he wasn’t screaming. I’ll find him, I always find you two. He took a step forward with his good foot, the other one dragging behind him.
“It’s wrong that you can talk…” Shortly after escaping from “Lady” and her demented desires for beauty and perfection, Yugi had found out from a nasty encounter (where he had almost died, luckily “Lady’s” screams from somewhere worked as a distraction and Yugi had escaped) that “Yami” could speak.
Though at the time, all he said was Yugi’s name, but it looks like his vocabulary has improved. Probably from the pendant around his neck, so much like Yami’s own, but so different. He knew Yami could use his, had seen him turn it into a sword and a shield already, but Yugi had always thought that “Yami’s” was a by-product of his creation.
Looks like it might have some powers to it, but this is all just speculation.
I rather like it… The monster grinned still. It’s nice to speak again…
This caught Yugi by surprise, again? Wait, could this bastard talk in the past?! “What are you talking about?” He gasped when he was shoved hard into the wall, shit! He moved so fast!
A wet, inky hand was pressed against his throat, choking him. Yugi struggled, trying swing his axe, but it was slapped out of his hand by the smaller hand “Yami” possessed. You always did ask too many questions, little Yugi…
Orchid eyes widened, wait, when was the last time he was ever called ‘little Yugi’? No… no, it couldn’t be… maybe the monster had overheard him being called that? This couldn’t be what happened to him, oh God…
“Yami” chuckled, pressing a little tighter, making Yugi wheeze painfully. I’ve been thinking… it’s rather hard to catch that little rough draft of a double, he’s eluded me for so long… he’s scared, but he’s stubborn, just like how you made him…
The monster leaned in closer, Yugi could smell the strong scent of rubber ink coming from the monster. He’s difficult to fight and catch, always was in the show… but there was always a strong weakness to him, that would make him break…
The grin was painfully wide. His friends are his biggest weakness…
“No…” Yugi gasped, was the monster going to use him as bait or something?
His dear bird is in a terrible battle with herself, and his mutt is probably dead for good this time… so all that remains is you, Yugi, and you’re perfect… he only has you left, and he’ll do anything to keep you safe, right..?
Yugi started to feel faint as his throat was squeezed tighter.
I think the best way to destroy him… is to make you mine… and have you kill him… an ironic situation, the first to betray me will kill the last to do so... hold still, this is going to hurt a lot…!
Before the animator could react properly to what he heard, his eyes widened in pure horror when “Yami’s” mouth snapped open, revealing terribly, sharp, misshapen teeth. It let out a horrible scream, the vertigo came back tenfold, enough to make Yugi gag as his body reacted terribly to the sound.
The hand released him and Yugi dropped, slumped on the floor, gasping loudly as his body tremored, his ears ringing, his vision a mess. But he still saw “Yami” get down on the floor, pulling him up to his knees. Yugi felt wet, ice cold things touch him, and it took him seconds to realize it was ink, coming from “Yami” as it did on the walls when the monster walked.
It felt horrible, like leeches, especially since it felt like it was biting into his skin. He hissed, trying to pull away from the tightening hold, before a surge of burning hot pain erupted from his shoulder. The Ink Demon had bit down right onto his right shoulder, digging his teeth in hard. Blood mixed with ink as Yugi sat there, frozen from the pain and cold sensations on his skin, staring at the slowly melting creator.
He felt sick, he felt things piercings into his skin from the bite, as if the ink was entering him through the multiple holes produced from the beast’s teeth. The tendrils of ink covered his right arm, and Yugi knew he had to get this thing off, before it did whatever it planned to do to him!
Weakly, Yugi struggled to get his axe, pleased that he was able to grab a hold of it, but his arm felt like it was on fire again as the skin started to bulge. Ink began to pour out of the pores and he screamed, both in fear and in pain.
“Yami”, though smaller now that his ink was in going into Yugi, managed to lift him to his feet, slamming him into a wall. More of the monster was pumped into Yugi, causing more changes, painful changes. If it was going to control Yugi, it might as well make him suffer what it suffered.
Yugi screamed in horribly pain as his left arm felt like it was being twisted wrong, like someone was gonna break it. The pain doubled, and he let out a choked sound when his right foot cracked, snapping backwards, just like how “Yami’s” foot was.
He almost vomited from the pain as more ink came out of him, falling from his hairline, streaking down his face in black lines.
It only took ten or so minutes of agonizing suffering and pain, but it felt like hours to Yugi as the world began to go black and he felt like he was falling.
The body collapsed on the hard, wooden floor, laying there in a puddle of ink. “Yami” was no longer standing there, it was gone, but Yugi remained.
Well…
It wasn’t really gone, it just found a new mode of transportation…
Hehehehe…” Shifting, the body began to rise, getting to its mix-match feet. It bent down, picking up the pendant that had fallen to the ground during the body modification process.
Yugi… well, what could only be presumed to be ‘Yugi’ looked like a mess. His hair was full of ink, as his face was covered in it, except his left eye was exposed, black in the white, with a small, orchid dot glancing around.
The left arm was twisted wrong, as if someone broke it, just like the right foot. He was covered in spots and streaks of ink, his right arm completely soaked in thick, lumpy ink. What could be assumed to be his hand was wrapped tightly the axe still, soaked in the black liquid.
A shaky, toothy grin pulled at his lips as he stumbled, trying to get his bearings. He laughed as he leaned against a wall, feeling a struggling inside of him. “Oh… try as you might to gain control, little Yugi, you are in for the ride. I hope you don’t mind, but I feel that using our flesh suit is the most perfect way to destroy that treacherous doppelgänger.”
He let out a sharp, harsh laugh, ink and blood dripping out of his mouth as he coughed, limping his way out of the hall to find the little Toon.
Unknown to the creature, Yami was very close, so close that he had seen everything through a ventilation shaft grate.
TBC?
--
I dunno if there is gonna be a part two, but there might be if people want one.
Sorry, this could have been better, but I’m tired, and wanted to get this idea written before I forgot it.
It’s funny, this goes against my normal headcanon that the monster really is the little Toon, but I’m also a fan of the idea that the monster is actually a corrupted human, so in this? Yami is his own character and “Yami” is a ink demon/human hybrid (its Kaiba btw)

Refs and Info for my Anti. Top right picture was made for me by Chenaniaharticles on DA. The reddish lines on his arms are scars. The top left picture is his alternate outfit and the picture was made for me by EvinaRain on DA. Bottom right picture is a ref for the gages he wears with his alternate outfit. Bottom left picture is a more detailed drawing of the choker that is shown in the alternate outfit picture, the symbol on it is the Japanese kanji for demon, Dark gave the choker to him as a gift. I drew the bottom pictures. His bracelets don’t actually glow btw.
Info:
Anti was apart of Jack from day one. But he was originally dormant, not having a purpose and thus wasn’t fully formed. Not untill the fateful day when Jack got that bad cut over his eye and it got infected. Anti finally started to form properly after that, becoming a sort of safety net. His purpose was to take the brunt of injuries and negative emotions, essentially a protective shield, making it seem like Jack wasn’t as badly injured as he actually had been. That first incident is what caused his left eye to be green, he took the worst of the infection and the damage has caused his power to leak out of that eye, making it perpetually green. Over time he developed a mind of his own, and naturally he wanted a chance at being apart of the world at least a little. Jack however was afraid of this entity inside his head and kept him locked away. Anti, being trapped in a mind that didn’t want him and being forced to take on the worst of Jack’s injuries and emotions, grew depressed. He felt broken, like an incomplete being whose sole purpose was to be hurt. That is, till Youtube started. When fans took some of the creepy stuff Jack did for fun and gave it a persona, he saw an opportunity to finally be something more. Previously without a name, he took on the name of the character the fans had created and started molding himself after their ideas. They gave him purpose, and the attention he so desperately desired after Jack had ignored him for all those years. He drew strength from them, finally starting to break from the chains that kept him trapped. And in October of 2016 he started his campaign to show Jack that he should never have locked him away. And he had the perfect plan on how to end with a bang. He had taken the worst of Jack’s injuries for years, so for once, he would harm Jack. Unfortunately for him though he still ended up taking on most of the injury, Jack ending up only having irritated looking red marks on his neck. While Anti got a deep scar that sometimes reopens when using his powers. However, he still got the desired affect. Fans noticed him more than ever and Jack finally understood that what he had done was wrong, agreeing to let him out now and then, sometimes for the fans, as long as he never tried to hurt themselves again. Anti has altered his appearance to fit some of the more popular fan creations. The spiked up, dark green hair a few have, the fangs a few have, the paler skin a lot have, eyes that change between the various versions though they are naturally one blue and one green that both glow green when using his powers, shadows under his eyes, slightly pointed ears, various gages though he uses the small black ones the most, and then two recent additions. After the throat cutting incident he wanted something to cover up the scar when he isn’t in videos. He took inspiration from some fanart for a fan contest Jack had liked on Tumblr and started wearing a black remote activated shock collar and also took a liking to the character’s green and black hoodie, though he wears a long sleeved one with a green and black septiceye along the right sleeve. The collar was originally only to hide the scar but, after curiosity made him want to know what getting shocked feels like, he now wears it for fun as well. He likes the rush of adrenaline he gets from being shocked, plus it kinda just feels cool. Nothing sexual though. Due to taking the worst of Jack’s injuries, Anti has multiple scars along his torso and his arms and legs. Only a few are bad enough to be visible to the naked eye though. Most are extremely faded and only visible under certain lighting. He still likes to cause trouble for Jack, but it’s not meant to be malicious and is all in good fun. He just likes messing around and playing pranks. He is practically a child in certain ways since being trapped for so long didn’t exactly allow him to develop normally. His personality is pretty similar Jack’s, perhaps amped up slightly. Unlike Jack however he has confidence issues and mild depression, though he is very good at hiding it. He’s actually quite modest as well, for example, he’s a fairly good singer but would deny it if anyone said so. He shares Jack’s passion for drumming but is also quite good with electric guitar. He gets quite flustered about sexual stuff, especially when it’s directed towards him. Though he strangely doesn’t mind teasing others in a sexual manner. He carries a lot of guilt about what happened in Say Goodbye, and does his best to make up for it. He loves doing cameo’s in Jack’s videos, always getting excited by the fan theories. He absolutely adores anything mint flavored, especially if it has dark chocolate. He likes just about any kind of rock music, including metal. He really likes soft stuff. So if he finds anything soft he can end up stroking whatever it is for a good while. Something about it calms him. Jack actually found him snuggling with a giant Sam plushie once. Kinda likes my Dark but is unsure what to do about his feelings. Especially since he hasn’t been interested in guys before. Not to mention he doesn’t want to weird Jack out since they share a body and Jack is straight. Likes the smell of a wood fire and spiced cider. basically any scent that can be associated with being warm and cozy such as cinnamon and pumpkin spice. Loves the rain, especially thunderstorms. He likes seeing the lightning flash, hear the rumble of thunder and the sound of rain on the roof and windows. And he really likes the feel of the cold water washing over him, he finds it refreshing.
Powers:
Floating. Speaks for itself, sometimes uses this ability to essentially walk on walls and the ceiling (( indoor walls, buildings go too high )). When not walking on walls or ceilings he floats up to 7 feet off the ground at most. He can’t go much higher than that though, otherwise it would be considered flying.
Can make himself look like Jack. Typical power for an Antituber.
Glitches. He can make electronics glitch out and his body will look glitchy sometimes. He can also teleport with his glitching but only by a couple yards at most. Hence how he was able to suddenly appear and then disappear during the Say Goodbye video. He can also use his glitching to elicit pretty unique sounds electric musical instruments as well as just about anything electrical, hence the odd screeching noises and stuff that are sometimes heard when he’s in a video.
Healing. Any injuries he gets heal rather fast, though scars are left if the injury is bad enough. This ability kinda leaks out onto Jack as well, but not enough to raise suspicion.
Fast. He’s pretty speedy and agile, might not technically be a power though since he’s only a short ways past the scale of how fast and agile a human can be. Just enough that you know he’s not human but nothing like the Flash. The best comparison i can think of would be a cat. He’s as fast and agile as a cat.
Screaming. He has this loud scream that leaves people disoriented. He doesn’t really have control of it though, it’s more of a defense mechanism that kicks in when he’s scared or in danger.
The Sight. If Anti is looking at a person or creature with just his green eye and they have an alternate and/or ‘true’ form, he is able to see it due to some of his power leaking through that eye. This is probably the only power my Anti has that no other Anti has had. He has to be careful however, if he looks at a really powerful creature’s alternate form for too long a black liquid will start to leak from his eye and he’ll become dizzy and potentially faint. Due to this ability Dark called Anti a ‘Seer’ which are people who have the ability to see things normal people cannot. If this Anti were to ever meet with other Anti’s I imagine Seer would be his nickname.
The last ability he has is that he is able to temporarily separate from Jack for a few hours, creating a body out of particles in the air that go back to their original state once he returns to Jack’s mind. He can only stay out for a few hours because he is a piece of Jack’s soul and being separated too long will make him ill and can even kill him.
Felt like talking about my Anti. I’ll probably do the same for my Dark soon.

Someone linked me this incredibly cool (but also very probably busted) psionic class for pathfinder, called the Voyager. Their thing is time / speed / parallel action manipulation, and the abilities are incredibly aesthetic.
Some choice examples:
Momentum (Su): A voyager generates kinetic energy that she can channel into her attacks. Whenever the voyager moves, she generates 1 point of momentum for every 10 feet she moved. If the voyager teleports, she can treat the distance between her origin and arrival points as distance moved for the purposes of this effect. The maximum amount of momentum a voyager can have at once is equal to her class level, no matter how far she moves. When a voyager hits with an attack against a single target, she can consume points of momentum to deal an additional 1d6 points of damage per point consumed. In addition, whenever a voyager gains momentum, she also gains a dodge bonus to her AC equal to her Intelligence bonus (minimum +0) for 1 round.
The class gets a lot of both movement speed increases and teleporting, so this is pretty sick. There’s also a feat that lets you use momentum to augment your manifesting (Did I mention the class is a 2/3rds manifester, with a pretty solid ability list and five free copies of Expanded Knowledge?)
Look Both Ways (Su): At 5th level, a voyager’s mastery over time and space becomes habitual. Her alternate selves watch her back for her at all times, granting the voyager an ability like uncanny dodge, which can be treated as such for the purposes of prerequisites.
She can no longer be caught flat-footed, nor does she lose her Dexterity bonus to AC if the attacker is invisible. She still loses her Dexterity bonus to AC if immobilized. A voyager with this ability can still lose her Dexterity bonus to AC if an opponent successfully uses the feint action (see Combat) against her.
In addition, whenever the voyager carries out a task, however boring it may be, an alternate self can pitch in while the others maintain watch. For the voyager, taking 20 on a given check takes only 10 times as long as a normal check, instead of 20 times as long. Tasks performed while taking 10 or 20 do not penalize or prevent Perception checks.
This is just one of several nice flavorful utility class features the Voyager gets, and lmao hot damn. Uncanny Dodge + halving taking 20 time (this class is a skill monkey, btw: 6+int / level on an int based caster?) is pretty nice.
The real hype of the class, though, is the parallel action feature. You get a second initiative roll at -10 for your parallel selves, and whenever that comes up you pick one of a set of parallel actions and get to use it for free. (One of the two archtypes only modifies this class feature, adjusting it so that your parallel always moves right before or after you, but you get a minor penalty to initiative that falls off as you level). A few of the parallel actions you get:
Assisted Escape (1st level): The voyager can receive a nudge from her counterparts across time and space, causing her to disappear momentarily and reappear in a slightly different position. On the voyager’s parallel turn, the voyager can teleport 5 feet. Unlike a normal teleportation, this teleportation allows her to stand if she was prone, and frees the voyager from entangling effects. The voyager’s speed cannot be reduced for 1 round after this parallel action is used (though she will continue to suffer other effects of any conditions she is under).
I mean, freedom of movement is like an okay spell, but what if instead of being a 4th level spell, you could have it all the time, from level 1, and also with a free teleport and autostand? That’s be cool, right? Right.
Rewind (3rd level): Once she learns of this ability, the voyager must begin tracking her location more carefully. Once per round, as a free action that can be taken at any point during her turn, the voyager can form an afterimage at her current location. These afterimages do nothing by themselves besides denoting the location, and disappear after 1 round. Afterimages cannot be sensed by anyone besides the voyager, unless she chooses to show them (in which case, they appear as ghostly versions of herself, frozen in place).
The voyager can use her parallel turn to pull herself back to an afterimage, teleporting herself from her current location to an afterimage, regardless of distance. Alternatively, the voyager can use her parallel turn in order to hold all of her currently existing afterimages at their current locations, increasing their durations for 1 round.
The really boring, but obviously hilarious use here is just running your max movement speed at someone (optionally with a charge), getting your momentum damage off, and then immediately teleporting back to where you started, basically incurring no risk. You can do much stupider things with it, though: repeatedly jumping off an airship or building to make ranged attacks while you fall is a beautiful mental image.
But wait, there’s more! Some parallel actions get improved versions.
Targeted Rewind (6th level, branched path): As a free action, the voyager can create an afterimage of a creature she just hit with an attack or affected with a power. This afterimage functions the same as the voyager’s own afterimages, and counts as her afterimage formed for the turn (meaning she cannot use this ability if she already formed one this round, and cannot form an afterimage of her own after using this ability). The creature affected is allowed a Will save to prevent the afterimage’s creation.
On the voyager’s parallel turn, the voyager can use the afterimage she formed of the creature and forcibly teleport that creature to the afterimage. If the voyager expends the afterimage in this way, she cannot use any parallel actions for 1 round afterwards.
The best part about this is that the will save is offered on the free action, so you don’t waste your parallel action trying and failing to teleport them. This is hilarious if anyone is trying to run from you, but it works just as well against anyone chasing you, especially if you’re doing the kind of ranged skirmish build this class easily supports.
Rewind Fate (12th level, branched path): When the voyager forms an afterimage, she may expend her psionic focus in order to modify the afterimage, creating a record of the state of the target upon creation. If she does so, the afterimage she creates is marked with the current hit points of the source creature, and is used to denote both the hit points and former location of the creature. If the voyager returns the target to this afterimage, their current hit points become the value marked by the afterimage (whether it is higher, lower, or the same as the creature’s former hit point total).
So the thing I said about hilarious utility? Triple that, because now you can just literally walk into traps and then decide you’ve changed your mind. The class also gives you magic trapfinding and disabling (but better because you can use knowledge history because ??? why not?), but that’s way less funny than walking into pits and then just deciding you’d rather not. (Also you can stop people from healing by doing this in combination with Targeted Rewind, so that’s cool, I guess).
This is already a longpost and I’m sorry but I have to add the flavor from the only substantial archtype, the doomsayer. Check out the doc if you want the mechanics, but look at this perfect edgelord aesthetic:
A doomsayer sees further and farther into the future than other seers, but doing so has come at a terrible cost. There is but one constant in the futures that a doomsayer sees: the End. Blazing meteors from the sky, grasping tentacles from the deep, creeping invasions of otherworldly monstrosities: an individual doomsayer may have seen these and more. But beyond that, he sees the all-consuming nothingness at the end of time. And there, the doomsayer sees...himself. Alone, at the end. Waiting, for him.
The voyager’s gift: help from her parallel selves, has become something ugly and cruel in the mind of a doomsayer. The doomsayer’s future self, broken by the end of all things, wishes only for the doomsayer to realize his destiny. He reaches out from his apocalyptic reality to expedite it, drawing on the doomsayer’s own personal time in order to do so. Each time he does so, he brings the end one inexorable step closer.
like holy shit
in conclusion this class is incredible and also maybe perhaps a tad busted and I cannot wait to play it sometime.

How to DIY your mohawk in quarantine
Hello, it’s been a while...
I know being in quarantine for a month has made me want to regain control over something, anything. Hair is usually the first place people start when they feel like this. It is exactly what made me start messing with my hair to begin with around age 12. So you’ve decided to cut your own hair? That’s great! I support this! This blog is about how groom your attitude, manage your expectations, and have the most fun with the process. As such, you could apply it to any DIY haircut model. I’ve chosen to give myself a mohawk, one of my go-to’s from my teenage years...
During these surreal times I missed giving myself intuitive haircuts the way I used to when I was 14. This is not about professional instruction, it's a love letter to my teenage years. Enjoying the process without a particular end goal. Even professionals are cutting their own hair right now, so this is also about the elegant humility of the situation. An even playing field. Cutting your own hair is hard, even for a professional. I like my DIY cuts like I (used to) like my martinis, Dry and Dirty. In my opinion it’s best to do this cutting method on dirty hair. You will want to wash it after the mess anyway. You can think of this as a spell, if you like. I always do. Take your time creating the environment for this spellwork, making sure it feels right. The right tools DO help but they aren’t the point. The point is to nourish how you feel. Below is my selfie-cut soundtrack and suggested materials.
Suggested Tools: cutting shears texture shears razor comb trimmers or clippers clippercide squirt bottle duckbill clips tail comb or my favorite comb Other suggestions: wall mounted mirror capes if you want one barbicide kills viruses btw
Step 1:
Put on the most punk music you can find. If you don’t know what punk music is, then what are you even doing here? loljk. Honestly I’m not gatekeeping, this isn’t about Team Clash vs Team Ramones (I’m Team Clash myself). This is about who inspires you to break the rules. Maybe that’s Johnny Cash or Cyndi Lauper or fucking Mozart. If punk is truly an attitude then why pigeonhole your soundtrack to “punk music”? Who makes you feel invincible? {link to all of my Spotify lists if you fancy a look}
Step 2:
Get naked. It’s okay, you’re alone in quarantine, no one is looking. Not only is this step practical, your hair will just get all over your clothes anyway... But this step is important to connect to your inner FERAL child. The clothing and makeup are merely adornments to the human animal. But what do you want this animal to look like? Being naked helps manifest this concept into the physical plane. Besides, witches know that important spellwork is done skyclad.
Step 3:
Section your hair with the flat corner of a wide comb or ideally a tail comb. If you don’t have one it’s okay. Use a fork, dinglehopper style. Punk! Take your time sectioning. Start with the widest version of your cut, you can always take more off. Drag the comb (or fork or skewer or paperclip or whatever) along your scalp. Draw a straight line with it. You don’t fully need to look at it as you do. Usually I feel with my skin whether it is a straight line or not. There’s two main types of mohawk profile lines. A smooth round curve or a boxy square. Pick your favorite or do a squigly one, it doesn’t matter because I can always fix it for you later. Once you have your section, take the hair you’re keeping and secure it with a hair tie or duckbill clips or both depending on length. Keep it tight, and as out of the way as possible. Pro tip: if you wanna be real precise about keeping the baby hairs out of the way, you can tape down your hairline with duct tape. Yes duct tape. It’s the only thing that will actually stick to dirty hair. Yes, it does hurt to remove! But it gets the job done if you need extra help keeping those lines in place. Follow this advice at your own risk.
Step 4:
Prepare the ceremonial area. Before you get messy (probably before you get naked if you live with others), make sure the bathroom is a little clean. Hair is about to get everywhere and having to clean around stuff afterwards sucks. It doesn’t have to be spotless (although that’s nice), but take stuff off the counters and pick up the bathmats and put them all somewhere else, outside of the danger zone. Make sure your tools are laid out on the counter. Whatever you picked from my tool list: shears, clippers, combs, spray bottle, clips, mirrors, clipper oil or clippercide, and a clipper brush or an old toothbrush for keeping the hair junk out of your blades. A note on mirrors: It is ideal to have a hands-free mirror set up. It doesn’t have to be permanent, but stable enough to last the duration of this process. I hold one with my hand because I’m a cocky professional, but you have a better chance at success when you can use both hands on cutting. Once the area is prepared, take a moment to center and ground yourself. Remember the vision of yourself as a feral human animal.
Step 5:
Cut the long bits off the sides before shaving anything. You do not want to shave anything with clippers when it is longer than an inch. I’m a weirdo so if it’s a really long piece I braid it and save it as a tail. Don’t ask me why.
Step 6:
Pick a guard, any guard. Decide how long you want the shaved sides to be. My preferred guard is nothing, a zero. It lasts the longest, and it makes it easy to straighten up the lines of the mohawk.
Step 7:
Begin! I use a skinnier type of clippers called a trimmer, it helps with these curved lines. I always use on dry hair. I flip it upside down to start at the front and work my way back. Starting with the flipped flat edge to the hairline of the long section, and “mowing” downwards towards the ears. Hold your skin flat in the curviest areas. I leave a little “pencil mustache” along the hairline and do all the easy stuff first, coming back to concentrate on the hairline at the very end. Pay attention to your neck hair, a lot of people forget that area. Remember to brush the hair out of the clipper blades regularly and spray with clippercide or oil afterwards. See the process video below to watch steps 7-10.
Step 8:
Enjoy the little things. Take your time with it. Do you like this song? Stop to sing along if you need to. You honestly have all the time in the world, you don’t even have to finish this haircut project today. No one is going to see you unless you live with them or you’re accepting a delivery... It’s quite freeing to have no time constraints for a change. This is what it felt like when I cut my own hair as a teenager, as I didn’t have anything better to do.
Step 9:
When you’re fairly sure you’re done with the sides, take down the long part. How does it look? Maybe it’s fine the way it is. If not, continue to cut that. I use hair shears and a razor comb. FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY DO NOT USE PAPER SCISSORS. Do what you want, but dull scissors will only make the task more difficult. Sort of like how you are more likely to slice your finger trying to cut a tomato with a dull knife. If you opt for the razor comb like I did, make sure your hair is spritzed damp. Cutting with a razor on dry hair causes unwanted unnecessary damage.
Step 10:
Glow up. Unpin everything and take a look at your masterpiece. Admire this majestic creature before you. You did that, good job! Check for anything asymmetrical (unless you want that). I measure my length without looking; I use both hands on the same section of each side and slide it along the hair... if they reach the same point at the same time they are approximately close enough. I also check the symmetry of the hairline without looking; I place my finger on the point of my scalp where the clippered part meets the long hair, I do this to mirrored locations on both sides and close my eyes... if they feel like they are in the same place then I’m good to go. If they feel uneven then I have more work to do. These are the fiddly bits that appeal to my OCD but if you don’t feel like doing them, that’s fine. As I said, I can always even it out for you later. Clean up all the hair from the work area before the next step, you’ll be glad you did.
Step 11:
A type of Baptism. When you’re done, definitely wash your hair. The very practical purpose of this is to remove the thousands of prickly speckles of hairdust all over you, as the only way to get rid of them is a full wash. But in my metaphysical opinion, cleansing yourself is the best finale to any transformational spellwork. Think about how you feel different as you cleanse the hair off. Remember that when you emerge from the bathroom, the creation of new human creature is complete.
Step 12:
While hair is clean but still wet, apply a gratuitous amount of texture cream and let air dry (or blow dry if you fancy). I promise this will pay off when you wake up with epic bedhead tomorrow morning. When you wake up with epic bedhead in the morning, take a selfie of your new achievement and tag me @freakflagbyiana !

A Hunter’s Guide to Astra
A Hunter's Guide to Astra ------------------------------------ WELCOME: Welcome to Astra! Astra is a huge planet roughly the size of Jupiter(1300 Earths could fit inside Jupiter btw), with three moons. This is a Fantasy Medieval world with magic, monsters, Hunters, Gods, Griffins, and more. I have spent hours and hours brainstorming and coming up with obstacles, enemies, allies, weapons, places, plots, and more! That is not to mention an entirely new system which makes combat more interesting (I designed it to have more Wombo Combos in mind!) and more fluid. This guide will talk about the basic world knowledge you need to make a character. Here we go! (And remember no character is allowed to have previous combat experience) THE CITY AND THE WILDS: One-fourth of Astra is covered in a massive towering city. The rest is wilds with occasional cities, empires, or villages. The Grand City is composed of many different Wards, controlled by different factions. People born in the cities tend to be paler, shorter, and more suspicious. Those born in the wilds tend to be taller, more open, more humorous, tanner, and also have tails. It should be noted that to refer to a Wilderfolk as a "cat" or "kitty" is a racial slur in most Wild cultures. Their relations vary wildly depending on where you are. In some places, they might mingle freely, in others one might marginalize the other. GODS: In this world Gods (also called Titans) walk the land, swim in the seas, tunnel, fly, and teleport. They can be Dragons, Giants, Krackens, or none of the above. What they have in common is God Blood or Ichor. These massive creatures are extremely tough and vary in personality just as much as in appearance. They can be intelligent or stupid, friendly or dangerous, social or reclusive. Gods can be hurt by conventional means, but Silver is the most effective. Ichor can be collected and used for many magical and powerful things. But it can only be used by beings called Hunters. HUNTERS: It is estimated that 1 in 1000 people on Astra become Hunters. Those who do will one night have a strange dream. When they awake they will have slitted eyes like a cat and a transfusion glove on their non-dominant hand. The only difference between a Hunter and a normal person is the ability to use God's blood. Thousands of different Hunter Paths have risen up, each outlining a different way to use Ichor. When you have the Dream you become of the Wandering path. Now each Hunter is destined to go to the Mountain and choose their path. The Hunter will use the Haze (two paragraphs down) to meet Hunters of other paths and get their pendant (a sign that the path has accepted them). They will present the pendant at the Mountain to be fully chosen. If you take too long to get to the Mountain and ignore your calling, Hunters go mad, becoming of the Damned. Hunters can be respected or hated. They can be in any line of profession from detective, to mercenary, to soldier, etc. All players are required to be Hunters (with the possible exception of Fernando if he makes a good case to me). ICHOR USE: Ichor can be used in two ways. First, you can transfuse pure Ichor into you and become superhuman for a short period of time. Extremely durable, strong, intelligent, the effects go on. But the Ichor must be pure and must be harvested by you! Otherwise, it will kill you. Also, transfusion can kill you if you are not in the right state to do it. Second, you can use something called Blood Compound. This is a mix of a certain percentage of Ichor with your own blood. This means that whenever you Cast (what the action is called) it costs health. The better at the Path you are on, the more efficient the Casting is. It is possible to Cast with Blood Compound you didn't harvest but it is much more inefficient. What you are Casting depends on what Path you are on. Hunters of the Haunting, or of the Thundered, or of the Jubilant will all do different Casts. THE HAZE: Astra is covered in huge areas of strange mists known as the Haze. It will appear out of nowhere, follow certain people, or show any number of strange behaviors. If you walk into the Haze it will (sometimes) transport you somewhere else on Astra. Most times when you enter it you will see a memory, a moment, a person/place/thing. Some believe the Haze is a being that guides people, others believe that it is just a strange magical storm. --------------------------------------- Disclaimer: after reading everything above you are totally prepared to make a character. Everything after this point is just interesting and poignant world facts, factions, people, states, concepts, and creatures. You will eventually learn about these no matter what so no need to read on. BUT. It could help you make a more interesting character. Your choice! :D --------------------------------------- THE RED WATCH: A huge empire that controls the largest Ward in the City and also huge areas in the Wilds. They are known for being able to construct fortifications during combat and are called the Red Watch as they would build massive red fortifications during actual battles, leaving the enemy surrounded by walls and entrenchments. They are ruled by an Emperor who is elected every lifetime by a Parliament (100 people). The Parliamentarians are a huge force. THE CHURCH OF JOY: The Red Watch is declining under the rule of the current Emperor. The Church of Joy was a wing of the Red Watch used to dispose of dangerous Gods, provide strategic assistance, and also healing services. As the greatest Empire slowly falls into ruin, the Church is taking over more and more of their responsibilities. The Church is the largest Hunter organization in Astra. They provide aid (healing, dealing with outlaws, killing dangerous Gods) to all villages that are in contact with the Church. Remember that because of the Haze these villages can be spread out all across Astra in little pockets. The Church is headed by a group of Cardinals called the Curia. Although there is no official leader of the Church one Cardinal tends to take control of each era. The Church is generally recognized as a force of good, even if it is spread thin to defend such huge territories. GHOSTS: The paranormal do exist in Astra. Those who leave this life but have enough will to hang on, sometimes cling to some string of existence. Ghosts can be minor nuisances who make attics creak and curtains rustle. Some can talk, some can change shapes, some can travel while others are trapped in one area. They vary hugely. They can be extremely dangerous and powerful in some circumstances. The one thing that draws them all together is that they had enough will to force themselves to be even slightly alive. Ghosts/Spirits/Poltergeists generally have something, someone that anchors them in the world. It could be a place, an item or unfinished business. IN CONCLUSION: Please ask me questions if you have something you want to run by me! All character creation will be done as a group (stat rolling and final decisions) but definitely brainstorm before! You can still have character secrets, which we can talk about in private. Please text me questions or ideas. We will meet on the 8th of September at Andrew's place to do the character creation group session and the first session is on the 14th. I hope you are all psyched!!!!! This is gonna be a blast.
