Miss Bianca Loses Her Mind (Or so it seems) || BDRPTask
NPC PERSPECTIVE REWRITE CHALLENGE: Pick an old para you wrote and this time, write about the event from an outside perspective.  ∟ based on this thread
"Vad fan," Oscar muttered, expecting no kind of response from Agent Larsson beside him. What the fuck, indeed. Miss Bianca had gone and lost her bloody mind.
Larsson paid him absolutely no mind, because as soon as Agent 81 had addressed the janitor, of all people, she had sat up so high in her chair she threatened to be standing up. Oscar couldn't blame her; up until thirty seconds ago, he had been slumped down in his seat, hoping to god that she wouldn't pick him to go on this mission. Don't get him wrong - Oscar really liked Miss Bianca. They had been in Stockholm together not so long ago, and they'd had a bloody good time (whilst also managing to take down the head of an international trading company that just-so-happened to be trading in the lives of Magicks, but y'know), but he couldn't think of anything worse than being stuck in rainy England for god knows how long.
But then Agent Gabor had picked on that janitor, the guy who was changing a fucking lightbulb or something (Oscar hadn't even noticed - that was maybe a bad thing, giving that he was a spy, but the janitor was just so... unassuming. And this was RAS HQ. If there was anywhere you could let your guard down, odds were it was there), and he had sat up in his seat, head whipping towards the man so fast he was worried he'd given himself whiplash.
In front of him, the delegate from Portugal, Agent Almeda, shook her head. "She's lost her mind."
Too damn right she had.
Maybe this was a dream - that would make more sense, and honestly, Oscar always felt like he was going to nod off in these meetings. They were a chore, for the most part, but he did enjoy listen to the missions that were on offer, like watching the trailers before the movie. Except that there was no movie, just updates on other missions, and those were what always threatened to send him snoring under his desk.
No, it had to be a dream; Miss Bianca was smiling at that man like they were old pals, the best of friends. Oscar knew Miss Bianca. She was an aristocrat - she was like, Hungarian royalty or something. Alright, perhaps not royalty, but she was certainly up there, in that kind of social stratosphere. Oscar hadn't known that she knew what a janitor was - perhaps she didn't, and that's why she had turned to him for help.
Oh, but that wasn't fair. If Larsson had said that Oscar would have told her off; Miss Bianca was wonderful and they both knew it. Most of them knew it, especially those who had worked with her.
Speaking of - Oscar glanced around the room, his eyes landing on Petrescu, who was watching the whole thing with a frown, leaning forward in his seat. He seemed to have the same itch that Oscar did - that he should step in. Save Bianca the trouble of having to work with someone unqualified, someone... well, someone who didn't look like much. Anspråkslös - unassuming, that was the word. She shouldn't have to work with him.
Oscar really, really didn't want that mission, though. He glanced at Felix again and found the other agent looking at him too. They didn't exactly know each other, had never worked together before, but apparently they knew each other enough for Petrescu to raise on eyebrow at him quizzically. Oscar shrugged. He had no idea what was going on either.
"Miss Bianca, this is quite... unconventional." The Director said. Ah, at least - the voice of reason! The Director would put a stop to it, couldn't have rogue janitors running around pretending to be agents. The Society had been going for centuries now, it would have fallen to ruin if they'd just let any old bugger in. The Director knew that. He had to.
“You asked me to choose a co-agent, Director. I’ve chosen. Shall Mr. Bernard and I head to the briefing room?”
Oh, no.
Oscar knew that tone of voice; that tone of voice usually preceded Miss Bianca getting her own way. But no, surely not; The Director should be able to withstand that, despite how blood charming she could be--
“Yes, I - I suppose you should.”
"No way," Ebba murmured beside him, the two of them (and the entire room, actually) watching as Bianca retrieved her handbag, and led the way out of the room, the janitor following along behind her.
"Somebody check outside," Agent Neeser said, sitting beside Oscar at the Swiss desk. "I think we might see a few pigs fly past."
"I think Gabor's psych eval might be overdue." Ebba muttered, sitting back down in her seat.
"Settle down, now, settle," The Director ordered. "This meeting isn't is adjourned, so settle."
The muttering continued for a few minutes longer, and even once it had died down Oscar was sure he wasn't the only one in the room not paying attention - even the Director seemed unsure of himself. When things finished up for the morning, Oscar snatched his bag and slipped away before the crowds could get him. If he just so happened to walk past the briefing room, trying to catch a glimpse at whatever the hell was going on inside, well - that was his business.

Ravnica for Goblins
Ladies of Ravnica
Dungeon Masters running a campaign in Ravnica may start to notice a trend with many of the city’s most powerful figures of authority (or notoriety); they are largely women.
Whether this an intentional choice on the part of WOTC for gender equality or purely accidental, most of Ravnica is run by the ladies. Not only do we see equal numbers of each gender represented within each race, each class, and each guild (except the Gruul Clans for some reason), but even a large number of the Guildmasters are/have been female:
Isperia, Sphinx Guildmaster of Azorius Senate
Lavinia, (acting Human Guildmaster of Azorius Senate following Isperia’s death)
Aurelia, Angel Guildmaster of Boros Legion
Feather, (former Angel Guildmaster of Boros Legion)
Razia, (Angel Founder/Parun of Boros Legion)
Vraska, (acting Medusa Guildmaster of Golgari Swarm following Jarad’s death)
Kaya, (official Human Guildmaster of Orzhov Syndicate following death of Obzedat)
Teysa, (unofficial Human Guildmaster of Orzhov Syndicate follow death of Obzedat)
Trostani, Dryad Guildmaster(s) of Selesnya Conclave
Zegana, Merfolk Guildmaster/Prime Speaker of Simic Combine
Vannifar, Hybrid Guildmaster/Prime Speaker of Simic Combine
In addition to this, every Angel and Medusa on the plane is exclusively female, with no exceptions. What does this mean for DMs plotting a Ravnica campaign? It means in all likelihood you’re going to be working on more female voices than male, so get practicing. If you are born a girl, this will be easier for you. If you’re born a guy, you’ve got some work to do. Because if you want to take a hard stance against doing female voices in your campaign, you are likely depriving your players the chance to interact with some of the coolest, most badass NPCs in all of Ravnica.
Lavinia of the Azorius Senate is an icon for the guild’s ideals, a champion for the laws of Ravnica, and steward of Jace Beleren, the Living Guildpact. Everything Jace wants to do with his nigh-limitless power as the embodiment of Ravnican Society has to pass through Lavinia first. She dictates his schedules, official commandments, and public appearances. Most importantly, Lavinia ensures that the most is made of the limited time the frequently-absent Guildpact is around. She is harsh but fair. A great choice for when the DM needs to intervene to save the players.
Judith the Scourge Diva is the Grand Dame of the Cult of Rakdos, it’s most in-demand performer, and the last word on anything that goes on backstage. She has more to do with the day-to-day goings-on than Rakdos himself, as the hedonistic demon Guildmaster rarely attends performances and often spends weeks, months, or even years in his lava pit. She does most of the work while Rakdos claims the adoration of the guild’s fanatics, cultists, and performers. Dramatic, demanding, devoted, demented, and she’s got a thing for blades & blood. She is the closest thing to a ranking member of the chaotic guild of stylized hedonism and carnage that is the Cult of Rakdos. She can be reasoned with.
Massacre Girl is currently the Azorius Senate’s number one fugitive.
Real Name: Unknown
Guild: Rakdos
Allegiance: Herself
Motive: Unknown
Crimes: Murders in every guild, including her own
Signature: High body counts, high-ranking figures, excessive violence
Perks for PCs: Instant Citywide Notoriety for taking her in/down
Drawbacks for PCs: Almost Certain Death for failing to take her in/down
Teysa Karlov, former Grand Envoy of Orzhov Syndicate, currently imprisoned for attempting to overthrow Ghost Council. Teysa is one of the few members of the Syndicate who isn’t motivated by greed or self-interest. Make no mistake, Teysa is as ambitious as they come, but her interests actually extend outside of her guild. She is one of the only high-ranking figures within her guild who actually tries to establish relationships with other guilds. It has dawned on her that the day may come when the Orzhov Syndicate might require the assistance of the other guilds, so maybe, just maybe, they should try to not have every other guild actively despise them. A groundbreaking proposal, the first step of which involved the overthrowing of the Greedy Old Men, aka the Obzedat, and establishing her as new guildmaster. Unfortunately, Grandfather Karlov outplayed her, and both Teysa and her ally Tajic of the Boros Legion were thrown in jail. Tajic was bailed out, but Teysa remains imprisoned thanks to bribes made with high-ranking officials to keep her so. In addition, to keep her from dying and achieving freedom as a ghost, she’s been fed food to magically lengthen her life in prison. All that said, Teysa is the best ally available within the Orzhov, one of the few not morally bankrupt, and knows the laws of Ravnica better than even the Azorius. A perfect choice for a prison break quest.
Emmara Tandris is one of the most well-known faces within the endless bounty that is the Selesnya Conclave. She’s a childhood friend of Jace Beleren, the Living Guildpact, and a public figure for inter-guild cooperations. This, plus the fact that she is a kind & caring individual with a special gift with animals, fey, and elementals, and the fact that Selesnya’s dryad trio Guildmaster(s) Trostani are vague at best, completely silent at worst, makes her a perfect choice for distributing missions, quests, and animal companions.
Last NPC I’ll mention is Vraska, of the Golgari Swarm. Vraska is the Planeswalker Medusa Assassin Pirate Queen of the Undercity. Think of something cooler than that, I dare you. It doesn’t exist.
*Edit: More Kickass Female NPCs!
Etrata, the Silencer. That name alone should inspire fear. Not just a vampire, not just an assassin, she’s more of an urban legend Boros soldiers tell each other about when they get stuck on overnight guard duty and want to spook their buddy. Lacking the tedious mind games of most House Dimir operatives, Etrata is an old-school killer for hire. She cares neither for politics, nor influence, nor subtlety. Your name shows up in her book, you’re gonna die tonight. She’s the only Dimir agent capable of actually challenging Lazav for his position of Guildmaster. What it will come down to is this; is he smarter than she is deadly? Etrata is great because her exploits are much easier to track than other Dimir. If someone is dead from a vampire bite in a locked room, they’ve just had a visit from Etrata.
Izoni, Thousand-Eyed should honestly have been the Golgari Guildmaster. Not only is she infinitely more interesting and distinctive than the run-of-the-mill Lich Jarad Vod Savo, but she embodies the Swarm in a way Jarad just doesn’t. Scuttling by your feet, buzzing around the air, lurking wherever death can be found; Izoni and her ever-present insect swarms have presence. Jarad, on the other hand, has a bow, very little personality, and the only real accomplishment he’s had as Guildmaster is surviving assassination attempts. Which, let’s be honest, for the Golgari, is just par for the course. Izoni has room to grow, to expand, and she’s exactly the sort of cackling, nasty, power-hungry dark witch players like to fight. Except she somehow makes being covered in bugs hot.
Pierakor az Vinrenn D’Rav, better known as “Feather”, was the Boros Guildmaster before Aurelia, and a former Wojek Officer. Her wings were bound and she was forced to serve in the Wojek for some reason that hasn’t been explained, then when the original Guildmaster and Parun Razia was slain, Feather stepped up. Her reign was short-lived when Aurelia challenged her as unfit to serve as Guildmaster given her unspoken crime that she was charged for however long ago. Feather gave up the mantle and left Ravnica, going into a self-imposed exile in the lawless Red Wastes beyond the Rubblebelt. Basically, this means that there is a Guildmaster-Level NPC living all alone in the most savage wilds on the entire plane searching for redemption. The story is literally just sitting there, waiting to be written.

Psychonauts is a funny thing
So, I got recommended the game on Steam after playing A Hat in Time because the games are uncannily similar (and Hat in Time definitely, 100% took some things from the game, I’m absolutely sure of it) and I just sort of passively cared about it for a while. I watched one of those compilations of the boss battles in the game, and it did look pretty cool to me. Then, the trailer for the sequel came out, and I watched it, had no idea what was going on, and reasoned I could probably play the original between then and the time it came out. The sequel looked pretty visually interesting, and if a sequel looks interesting surely the original has to be too. And, after a few months of sporadic playing, I finally finished it a few seconds ago. Basically, I’d recommend playing it.
But, I don’t think I’ve ever gotten this mad at a game before. It’s an odd feeling, being mad.
First of all, I bought the game on a Steam sale where it was literally only 99 cents. It was soon after the sequel trailer released, so surely it was there to draw people like me in. But, the issue was that the game wouldn’t even start when I first downloaded it. It played the intro, but it instantly minimized itself whenever I tried to pull it up. So, I put that off for a few weeks, and sure enough with no rhyme or reason it started working as intended again. Great. Surely this wouldn’t be representative of the future, right?
Well, sort of. There were a ton of glitches in the game. Most of them involving sketchy platforming, where I should’ve landed or grabbed onto a ledge but didn’t somehow, but only one legitimately stopped me from progressing. Not exactly spoilery, but I confused the first knife thrower you meat (no joke that was unintentional, but I’m keeping it) in the last (second to last?) level, and that made him completely stop doing anything, so I had to reset there. Not very fun.
But, before that, there was a glitch that actually was relatively cool. During the Den Mother boss fight, I used clairvoyance as intended, but after the first time it glitched (but I didn’t realize it) and the platform when completely invisible, but I could still see Raz’s body, so I just reasoned that it was just a progression of the difficulty of the fight. I could still piece together where I had to go to hit the boss, it was just going to be harder. Then, I died, and it started working as intended. It was a little lame, to be honest. Nothing changed from that point. I was obviously having trouble, though, so I wasn’t going to complain.
Then, an issue on my side of things was that I very often was stuck on what to do, and basically just ran around confused for 30+ minutes. I’m a pussy when it comes to video games, to be honest. I genuinely appreciate direction when I play, even if too much of it is obviously a bad thing. It’s usually because of how many Nintendo games I play. They usually give pretty clear hints where to go. I swear, if I couldn’t call on Cruller to help me, I would’ve never made it.
The funny thing is that, most of the time my confusion was a result of me just forgetting about the floating power. I would jump, fall, try again, and stare at the ledge until something magically appeared. Once I looked up the answer to my first problem online (where the old meat’s stench was the thing you had to float up on) I realized it, but still got stuck on later instances where you had to use it. I don’t know why that one mechanic constantly slipped my mind. I play video games. I should know updraft = you can float on it. That, and wood = burnable.
I do wish they forced you to get an item/power that you needed to get before you progressed BEFORE you actually got to the point where you needed it. Mainly when it came to the cobweb duster, at least. That thing was hella expensive, but I avoided it because I thought it was just one of those things for collectathon-ers who wanted to 100% the game. But, turns out, there’s only like one or two points where cobwebs are actually blocking your path, so I had to stop all progress and farm arrowheads to get that. Even worse, I bought other stuff with the arrowheads I got up until that point, so I had to farm a lot more.
But, apart from more specific stuff, that’s basically all the negative things I have to say about the game. Even though I did actually, legitimately get mad at multiple points, looking back on it all with a sound mind, it’s actually a really good, interesting game.
Honestly, the overall concept of the game is the best part. It has such insane potential, probably more so than any other concept I’ve heard of. The idea that you can go inside a person’s mind and interact with it in the form of a physical world/level is so cool. Really, there’s no better form of characterization. The serious contrast between the minds of someone like Milla, who’s clearly a partier, and Sasha, who’s clearly straight out of the Matrix, is such fun to experience. Obviously anyone would have a metaphorical, sprawling land as their mind, but how Sasha can control all of that and pull it out at will is really cool. On the other hand, Fred barely has a world to explore. He cares so much about the game that he only exists in a room, and the game is represented in the larger land, with all the different types of people. Then, Boyd the conspiracy theorist is trying to connect everything with winding pathways that flip over and cross with each other. Apart from the obvious ““normal”” neighborhood that’s constantly spying on him.
That level has to be my favorite in the entire game, even though it’s one of the ones that I got stuck on. A lot of that definitely came down to how the G-Men clearly inspired the C.A.W. Agents in A Hat in Time, who were really well done in both games. I noticed it instantly, and that made it so much more fun. Plus, that level introduced Clairvoyance, which might be the must useless yet the most interesting power in the game. They put so much effort into how you appear in the eyes of other characters (even the NPCs and enemies) that it’s kind of shocking. You really only use it for a part or two of that level and the boss fight (which made really good use of it), and then it just becomes a device for Easter eggs. Considering each of the other campers were mostly seemed like occasional throwaway jokes or funny images, they really thought about who they were and what they wanted.
Obviously, I’d be remiss to not talk about the character designs. This is essentially The Nightmare Before Christmas on steroids when it comes to character models. Some were obvious references to other things, like Sasha looking like Neo, or Cruller looking like Einstein, but even then they felt like their own characters. Overall, they’re a little too crazy to be at the top of my tastes, but they’re perfect for the atmosphere. I especially loved the Butcher’s design for some reason, even though it’s pretty standard for an over-exaggerated butcher character. He just looked really cool. The only design I was kinda iffy about was the Censors, who were awesome in concept, but looked a little too mortal-looking for something present in pretty much everyone’s mind. Maybe people just associate censoring with Cog-esque business people, and that’s why they always look like that. I do like the idea of them progressing into the giant Judges you see in the sequel trailer, though.
Then, the unsung hero of them all: The little bubble bug you always see in everyone’s psyches. I don’t think I ever actually used him, but he was adorable. Apparently his name is Oatmeal too? That’s adorable. I love him.
Back to the Butcher, though, with spoilers if you care: I liked the idea that both Oleander and Raz were embellishing their parents’ impressions of them and who they themselves actually were. It made sense, because children are so much more impressionable. They’d think that their dads are monsters, and carry that into adulthood (or, just later childhood in Raz’s case). Although, I do understand why Oly would be scarred by his father, but I don’t think we really got confirmation as to why Raz thought his father was so against his Psychic powers. Maybe that’ll be explained in the sequel? Maybe there’s some backstory I forgot about/didn’t know about? Probably. I doubt the writers just forgot about it.
Worth the 99 cents? Fuck yeah man. It sold me on the sequel, so they’re gonna get my money one way or another.

Cleaning. Oh lord. I always mean to wash my brushes before I have literally 50 to wash, and I never do it. My question is what is worth it? I can't return what I buy so it has to be something I'll actually use. I thought about just stocking up on my foundation but it really lasts me quite a while and I don't want to run the risk of it expiring. Any suggestions?. Gonna go ahead and guess the "additional content" is that owners of BFV get access to a battlepass and f2p doesn but has the option to buy it individually. Or at least I hope, after BFV delux edition perks these BR full game owners perks could just be a skin or two. 2 points submitted 10 days ago. But I can tell you that in essence you need to be conditioning your dog to trust you and enjoy you being near their food. They need to know that you won take their food away, they are safe and it okay to let you take their bowl. One method I seen is coming up to your dog while they eating (at a distance they won be too upset, it varies by how severe it is) and toss some higher value food into the bowl (chicken, or wet food or something good). No Turning Back with Icarus mod is accurate even in middair at surprisingly long distances. I kid you not, and promise it works. I pick Hunter because double jump is the best for midair with a bow in my experience (the others aren bad, but I found it harder to be aggressive). You can start looking for a new home as soon as your house is active on the market. As long as your first house closes and records at least 3 5 days before you close on 경주출장마사지 your new house you will be fine. Make sure you get two agents in both states that know and understand your situation.. Your NPCs also are given believable, if sometimes irrational (because no person is 100% reasonable) motivations. Ones the player can influence. To then complain that those results will ripple through years is to say only the consequences I like should matter.I love it that Kingmaker, unlike Inquisition or DA2, actually has consequences that follow from your choices. I have decided I would plurge on a great eye cream. Sulwhasoo ginseng, and if possible a good serum. Everything that targets hydration etc I can just get everyday drugstore brand creams because as long as it doing its job I don care. After only a few hours, the students became acutely restless. They started to crave stimulation, talking, singing or reciting poetry to themselves to break the monotony. Later, many of them became anxious or highly emotional. It's crazy to hear about the wastefulness. I worked at a PR agency for a few years, and we would send products to influencers, but we would put them, exactly as you 경주출장마사지 get them from the store shelves, into a small paper bag with maybe some pretty paper inside to jazz it up a bit, maybe a ribbon and a card specifically written for the recipient. And we'd send them via courier service that would give the bag to the influencer's hand, basically.. However, they are both fighting for the same group of gamers, and if Apex continues to support the game, it is absolutely 100% a big competitor to Fortnite. Most people played Fortnite because there wasn't another good BR out there. Not everyone enjoys getting deagled repeatedly or shooting at someone and watching them erect an 8m tower.Yes, they will both still have very active user bases, I'm just saying Apex is the first game to really threaten Fortnite's monopoly on BR. PUBG is dead, Realm Royale is trash, no one even really liked Blackout for more than a day, and BR5 sold so poorly I doubt anyone will even end up playing their BR mode when it releases. If you think Apex is done in a month, you're nuts.
