I’ve wrote, and re-wrote this post. What’s been happening?
First off, Noah’s back in school enjoying second grade and Olivia walks everywhere! My husband has been working his butt off and being a wonderful supportive partner.
Me.... well I quit my job. I could give you a list a mile long or I can just tell you... I will never work in corporate dentistry again. My soul was sucked dry and I was becoming a person I couldn’t even recognize. Long hours, messed up schedules, and zero consideration for my family. They have individuals in place to “make you feel better and talk you back up” but the truth is, once I decided that I wasn’t going to be just another body in a company I felt free... so free.
I worked for the best of the best doctors, had great training, almost 10 years experience in this business and I deserve an atmosphere where my skill set will be recognized, appreciated, and with understand that I want to keep growing.
It’s been two months!!!!! and finally, it’s all happening! The struggle and uncertainty has been worth finding the right fit.
My point is.. never settle. I get being comfortable. But never become less than yourself for anyone or any work place!

Almost five years together and married one whole month and things are the same except my name.
Laundry is done by me and always kicking my ass. Clothes never make it into the laundry basket. His bathroom is never clean. He cant close dresser drawers and the list goes on.
But he listens to all my crazy. Brings me flowers when I start my period and am a sensitive you know what! He brings me genuine happiness like no other and I’m forever thankful I get to call him my husband!

Vacationing in San Diego? Barrel Republic should be your nightly stop!
We recently got married and enjoyed 6 days in pacific beach. Yes we know there are so many things to do but as soon as we landed we started looking for beer. Haha.
We found Barrel Republic which had 40 beer taps plus 8 different wines that they offer.
When you walk in the bartender will take your id and give you a wrist band. At every different tap there is a screen that explains that beer and once you scan the wrist band you can begin your pour. They charge by the ounce so it’s a great way to sample several different beers.
They also offer food which we tried the bacon flat bread. The menu isn’t huge but everything sounded delicious. If you’re a beer lover and in San Diego at Pacific Beach, this is a must!!
And I mean, the bartenders are knowledgeable and easy on the eyes!!! You’ll thank me later.

Everybody deserves a break every once in a while! We took 6 days and spent so much time being tourist in San Diego! La Jolla has views on views with a smell that’s unforgettable hahaha.
We had breakfast in a cafe looking out at the ocean, saw seals with their babies and laughed til we cried.
Leaving was hard. But we have two beautiful babies to come home to so I was ready! But I feel refreshed and ready for all the new exciting things coming our way! This is happiness! ❤️

Raise Them Up
Mamas this motherhood thing is hard and I’m not the one to pretend it’s not. The constant struggle of not knowing if you’re doing it right!
The truth is we all struggle through this season of life. So many ages that come with many different challenges. We have good days and bad days- which is allowed! In my journey, I love to be present in all moments. Am I? No. But that’s what I work on every single day.
I have days of weakness where I struggle through life and her soul lifts me up. I smile because she’s filling my cup. I smile every day no matter what difficult situations life throws because she’s watching. Not to say it’s not ok to show emotion in front of our children, but I want her to remember my smile.
I want her to dance through the rain. I want her to be soulful and full of life. I want her to be a dreamer. I want her to be confident I want her to be a good person. I want her to be a hard worker. I want her to be happy. I want her to love. I will show her all of this and so much more.
Mamas, they are watching every move you make. Raise Them Up.

#MotivationMonday
I’m feeling refreshed and like change is here. Change starts first with yourself and of course sharing life altering plans with those close to you. I’m not perfect nor pretend to be but I want to continue to be better so my children see the change and can be the change.
Change for everyone looks different. I’ll make a post more specific to mine once I confirm all the things. Fear has set in but excitement has also taken over. But for now, I can promise a post a day. Today, let go of all the things that scare you! That may be what is holding you back!
Change is necessary for growth! I’m working. Working to be the best person, wife and mother.
