Masterlist
Chapter 7: Test Day
Exam day was here before we knew it.
“Alright! Everyone on the bus!” Iida called out as we staggered out of the dorms.
“Iida. Inside voice.” I shushed, rubbing my eyes.
Kaminari stumbled behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist. “‘M tired.”
“Me too.”
“You can nap on the bus!” Iida shouted, making the two of us jump.
Grumbling about how loud it was, I dragged Kaminari with me to the back. We collapsed into one of the seats, him letting me have the aisle seat.
I fell asleep almost immediately, using him as my pillow.
“ Dew Drop. Wake up. ”
I took a deep breath, stretching my arms. “We’re here?”
“Yeah, come on. They’re gonna think we’re up to something.” He teased, grabbing my hand.
We walked off the bus and gathered up with the rest of the class. The arena looked pretty cool, with a top that seemed like it could close if it rained. With my quirk, I hoped they would keep it open, but I was willing to bet that wasn’t the case.
“What if I don’t get my license?!” I heard Mineta panicking.
“Mineta.” Mr. Aizawa leaned down to his height. “Don’t ask if you can. Say you will.”
“Right! Sure! I’ve so got this!”
Mr. Aizawa turned to the rest of us. “If you can pass this test and get your provisional licenses, then you novice eggs will hatch into chicks. You’ll be semi-pros. I expect your best.”
“Alright! I can’t wait to be a heroic chicken!” Kaminari yelled out, firing up the class.
“Let’s call out the usual you guys!” Kirishima held up a fist. “On my mark. Plus -”
“ULTRA!”
I jumped as a boy yelled with us, appearing right next to me. His uniform was different. He must’ve been from another school.
“You know, it’s pretty rude to barge into other people’s conversations like that, Inasa.”
“Pardon me! I am so extremely sorry!” He bowed so deeply his head grazed the concrete.
“Who is this guy?” Kaminari pointed at him. “It’s too early for this much enthusiasm.”
I elbowed him. “Be nice! When we’re pros there’s a chance we may end up working with some of them. Not everyone comes from UA.”
“UA in the east, Shiketsu in the west.” Bakugo scoffed.
“I wanted to say it just once!” Inasa stood back up. “Plus Ultra!”
“Plus Ultra!” I echoed back, giving everyone from Shiketsu a friendly smile. “I look forward to competing today!”
“I’m honored to compete against such incredible students. I’m looking forward to it!”
The Shiketsu students continued on into the building, a few of them giving me a quick wave.
“Inasa Yoarashi.”
“Do you know that guy, Mr. Aizawa?” Hagakure asked.
“Yes. He’s strong. He’s the same year as you, and received the top scores for students admitted through recommendations. But for some reason, he turned down his acceptance to UA and went to Shiketsu.”
“Wait, he’s our age?!”
I nudged Kaminari. “I thought Momo had the top score.”
“Must’ve just been the top score for UA.”
Mina looked after the students, watching them walk off. “What a weirdo.”
“Maybe, but he’s the real deal. Keep an eye on him.” Mr. Aizawa looked at me then. “Nima, keep your quirk a secret until necessary.”
“Why?”
“Trust me.”
“Eraser?!” A female voice called out to us, making Mr. Aizawa cringe. “I’d know that scowl anywhere. I saw you on TV and at the sports festival. Been a while since we were this close in person!”
A realization hit me like a freight train. “Oh no.”
Mina and Kaminari both looked at me in confusion.
“Guys, your sports festival aired live.”
More confused looks.
“Which means that almost everyone here knows what your quirks are.”
Todoroki sighed. “We’re at a disadvantage.”
“Not entirely.” I crossed my arms behind my back. “I wasn’t at the sports festival. They don’t know what I can do.”
“You’re our only advantage then.” Mina pointed out. “That’s probably why Mr. Aizawa told you to keep your quirk a secret.”
“Over here everyone!” The woman who was talking to Mr. Aizawa waved some students over. “This is UA.”
“Whoa! It’s Class A!”
“That’s amazing! I’ve seen them on TV before!”
“Second years from Ketsubutsu Academy. This is Class 2. They’re my students.” The woman said.
One boy ran up to Midoriya. “Hey, I’m Shindo. Seems like UA’s had a lotta trouble this year. Must’ve been tough for you.”
“Uh, yeah.”
The boy moved to Kaminari, grabbing his hands. “But even so, you’re all still aiming to become pro heroes, despite those hardships.”
He moved to me. “It’s wonderful!”
Before he could grab my hands, I took a step back. “Thanks.”
“Hearts full of fortitude. I believe that’s what every hero in the world needs to have.”
He gave me a sparkling smile. Something about it felt off.
“This pretty boy is gonna steal our girls.”
I threaded my finger’s through Kami’s. “Not me.”
He gave me a kiss on the forehead. “You’re too good for me.”
I saw Shindo talking to Bakugo, who slapped his hand away. “Stop pretending. What you say doesn’t match the look in your eyes.”
“Man, don’t be rude!” Kiri called him out.
The others apologized to Shindo, but I slipped out of Kami’s grip and over to our resident stick of dynamite. “You’re absolutely right. He’s faking it.”
“Glad to know you have some common sense.” He huffed, glaring at Shindo. “Stick with me today. You’re strong.”
I was confused, but nodded before moving back to Kami’s side.
“Hey. Get your costumes on and head to orientation. There’s no time to waste.”
“Yes, sir!”
Jirou fell into step with me. “It’s weird. I always forget we’re famous to other schools.”
“We’re basically celebrities when it comes to hero course students.”
We got into our costumes and were briefed by the Heroes Public Safety Commisson guy. I tuned out most of it. We had balls, we had to hit targets. Easy peasy. My Tidal Wave would come in handy here.
The walls of the room we were in folded down, revealing the rest of the arena, covered in various terrains.
“Everyone!” Midoriya addressed us. “Stay close together. We’ll fight them as a group.”
“Yeah right. This isn’t a field trip.” Bakugo gave me and Kiri a look before running off.
I followed, knowing Kami would be right behind me.
“Idiot! Wait up!” Kiri called, chasing after us.
Bakugo headed to the city terrain. I knew he’d do well there, with so many buildings to use as perches. Hopefully there was a fake water tower or two I could steal from.
I heard what sounded like an earthquake behind us. “What the hell was that?”
“Doesn’t matter. Keep moving.”
I could hear people being knocked out of the running left and right. Further away, I saw an ice wall go up, and then heard some explosions.
“Looks like Todoroki is doing well.”
“Shut up!”
About half the spots were taken by the time we were climbing up a fire escape.
“Hey Kaminari. Why’d you follow us?” Kiri asked.
“You guys started running, and you stole my girlfriend. Of course I was gonna follow you. Where are we going?”
“Shut up!”
“Why do you always sound so mad?”
“I told you to chill out Bakugo.” Kiri sighed. “It looks like there’s a lot of people up there, so let’s work together.”
“Go die.”
I tapped on Bakugo’s boot. “Hey, you asked me to be here.”
“I didn’t think I’d get Spark Plug too.”
“Dude, we’re dating, what did you think was gonna happen?”
“Come on man.”
Something swung at us. Kirishima shoved me forward. “Look out!”
“Kirishima!”
He was squashed into a little ball of flesh. I couldn’t help but gag. “That’s disgusting.”
“What the crap?” Kaminari pulled me behind him. “Did that really just happen?”
“All I know is that bastard looks like he’s to blame.”
A Shiketsu student stood in the road, tons of flesh balls around him. One of my hands rested on Kami’s back as I stepped closer to him. “Careful.”
“I’ll kill him!”
“I’m from Shiketsu.” The boy started, and I had to keep myself from rolling my eyes. Of course he would monologue.
“Please notice, my school keeps our hats on when we’re working. Why’s that? Because. Each and every one of our movements is crowned by the legacy and honor of our school.” He dropped Kirishima on the ground, making the worst noise ever. “This is a demonstration. Proof of the difference in level between my peers and your vulgar classes. We value obligation and dignity - things that appear to be sorely lacking among you.”
Bakugo laughed. “I really hate your type.”
“He’s hard to follow.”
“He’s saying he thinks he’s better than we are.” I explained. “How about we show him otherwise?”
“Maybe don’t provoke this guy?! Look what he did to Kirishima!”
I pecked Kami on the cheek. “Bug, we can handle him.”
“UA High. I have respect for your school. I take pride in the fact that our institutions are treated as equals. But your class is shameful. You act in ways that disgrace heroes!”
Giant fingers appeared from behind his back.
“He’s attacking again!”
I took a step back. “I don’t want to be gross!”
“Shut up!” Bakugo snapped. “Obligation”? “Dignity”? You just like to hear yourself talk. I don’t see any proof. Show us with your actions, not your cheap words! If you can.”
“You’re worst of all, Bakugo!”
The fingers separated from him, flying towards Bakugo. I pulled the water from my belt, ready to grab them with my whip and pull them away from us if necessary.
Bakugo ran forward, setting up for his special AP shot move. He shot the fingers out of the sky, before lowering his gauntlet.
“I had to make a weak version so I didn’t kill anyone.”
“You know, this is why everyone is terrified of you - you’re way too hardcore.”
The fingers started forming back on the boy’s arms. “Okay, so they float back to him. Disgusting.”
“I see now. I’ll teach you a lesson by breaking you. This will show you what it means to be dignified and behave like a hero!”
The fingers started coming at us again. I stepped back, knowing that someone from a place like Shiketsu wouldn’t just do the same move again.
“He thinks he’s better than us!” Bakugo started running towards him. He started taking out more fingers with his AP shot.
I jumped forward to help, keeping a small whirlpool rotating around me. I’d be able to sense something hitting me from the back, if that was the plan.
“Let’s just get this fight over with. Maybe this will speed things along!”
Two of Kami’s discs shot out, hitting the wall next to the boy as he dodged. “Crap!”
“Work on your aim, and your look. Maybe I can make you something more appealing!”
“Enough talk! Die!”
Bakugo shot out some explosions and smoke filled the area. Just as it cleared, I saw a finger come out from the side, inches from Bakugo’s neck.
“No!”
I threw a wave forward but it was too late. Bakugo was grabbed.
“Once I touch you, you’re my plaything.”
“Bakugo!”
“Idiots,” he grumbled as he was morphed. “Fix this!”
He threw something toward Kaminari, but the boy didn’t notice as I drew my wave back. I moved to Kami’s side, letting the whirlpool swirl around our feet.
“Can you make it bigger?”
I tried pulling moisture from the air, my heart pounding when I realized that it wasn’t working. “The air is too dry, and we’re not close enough to any other bodies of water. This is all I have.”
“This is a demonstration. The test has an unusually low passing rate. At first this seemed counterintuitive given our current world.”
As he started to monologue again, I whispered, “I can soak him, but it’ll leave us vulnerable.”
“Wait for my signal.”
“I decided to thin the herd myself.” The boy continued.
“You’re ignoring the test because you think you’re superior?”
I let the water swirl faster. “You’re crazy. The world needs heroes that can do as they’re asked, not do what they want.”
“I’m simply separating the mediocre from the extraordinary.” He stepped forward, leaning his weight on Kirishima. “By the way. Your comrades here still feel pain in this form. Your untamed electricity will torture your friends if you use it. And you don’t seem to have enough water to hurt me as well as you could. You’re stuck.”
“You’ve been doing nothing but hurling insults at us this entire time.” Kami put a hand to his forehead. I’m kind of starting to take it personally, ya know.”
“Then you’re more self aware than I thought. Take some time to reflect on your failure!”
Kami reached behind him, throwing something. “Reflect on this!”
An explosion rocked behind him, distracting the boy.
“It’s not just a fashion statement. He can use that gear along with his nitro sweat to create simple grenades.”
The boy’s eyes widened. “He tossed it to you.”
Kami nodded at me, and I wrapped the water around the boy, soaking him to the bone.
“By the way, big shot. You stumbled into a really killer spot!” Electricity arced off of Kami’s finger, straight toward the disc.
His electricity, combined with being soaked, shocked him worse than I anticipated. He gasped, falling to his knees.
“Listen up. Bakugo might seem like a jerk on the surface, but he’s actually trying hard to be a pro-hero. He threw that grenade to me while being attacked. That was a result of calm judgement and planning.”
I nodded, noticing our friends were starting to come out of flesh ball form. “And Kirishima is such a good guy that he shoved me out of the way, taking the hit himself!”
“You only know bits and pieces of information about them. Don’t insult what you don’t know!”
The boy stood, fingers appearing around him again. “I’ll teach you to be more aware of your place! You degenerate!”
Kirishima activated his quirk, punching him in the stomach as Bakugo came in and blasted him.
“The more damage he takes, the more people get released.” Kiri pointed out.
Bakugo stood in front of all of us. “No wonder he was only using long distance attacks.”
Kiri nodded at us. “Thanks for the save, you two.”
“What took so long?!”
“You’re so mean! No one’s gonna like you if you -”
“Sorry to interrupt, but could we get our points and get out of here?” I asked, gesturing to the many people that were coming out of ball form. “Before they get us?”
Bakugo licked his lips.
“We’ve got targets.”

Shouji Mezo X Reader part 19 Remember
The girls early that morning went straight to the school asking if Y/n was allowed to bring her to the mall for the camping trip. Before the school could say anything they promised most of the class was going to be there and that they wouldn’t take their eyes off the girl. They were talking about her like a dog. The school agreed, and reminded that Y/n does not have a phone, but does have a tracker implanted in her. The school was being lenient because not only did Y/n show she was on good behavior, but if something happened the students would learn a good lesson on capturing someone. Aizawa had already told the school that he was sure most of his students would be able to outsmart her in this area.
The next step was to actually let Y/n know. It’s not like she had a phone they could just text, it was like the 1800s, no phones squat! They knocked on her door. She silently opened it, she was in her robe, her hair was up and her eyes tired. She shut the door and reopened it to reveal she was all ready for the day. She was in an outfit that stood out, had her hair flawlessly in place, shoes to complete the drip and make up done.
“How did you do that?” Jirou yelled.
“I don’t even think you let go of the door.” Tsu said.
“What is up girlies?” she asked.
“We wanted to know if you wanted to come to the mall with us today.” Hakagure said.
“Well, legally I’m not allowed to have plans, so sure.” Y/n said.
“Wait do you have money? We’re going to shop for the camping trip.” Momo said.
“Yeah, my mom’s card.”
“What!” Urakaka said.
“Well she saved a lot of money without having to buy any back to school stuff when she had me switch to online. This can make the difference up.”
Y/n got her stuff and started walking back with the girls to the dorms so they could pick up their things for such a shopping trip.
“So what did you and Shouji do last night? Mina asked.
“Well, I lost my eyesight so he watched me stumble around because I wasn’t gonna tell him I was blind.”
“Why?” Tsu asked.
“I wanted to see how well my other senses could work it out.” She told them. “What am I? Open about all my issues? You guys get the crime stuff, but I’m entitled to my secrets.”
“Did he not help you?”Jiro asked, a little shocked about the word choice.
“I mean I guess.” She played it off.
The girls were hoping for this epic romantic little secret meeting and instead they just imagine Y/n walking around in a circle and tripping on stuff while Shouji watches. Shouji was a kind gentle giant who does help others, but the image they were seeing was Y/n would bite his hand off if he tried to help the girl.
“Is the rest of the class coming with us today?’
“Yeah, mostly everyone.” Momo said.
“Wait, are you going camping with us?” Tsu asked.
“Yeah, Aizawa is gonna do the government a favor and get some baselines set for my quirk. He got approved for quirk stabilizers too so I can use my quirk lessening the pain.” She said.
“Are you sure it's safe?” Jirou asked.
“Well, I bet I'll be fine since Aizawa will be there.” Y/n said.
In all honesty, she did want to learn more about her quirk and it’s limits. She wasn’t allowed to for so long and now that she has permission! What a concept! Some freedom with her quirk. This might be what she got instead of a prison sentence, this was a lot better than she thought it was gonna be. It was separated by girls and boys.
The students met up and went to the subway. They were all planning what they needed to get for the trip.
“I think I’m gonna get bug spray.” Urakaka said.
“That’s all you need?” Y/n asked.
“Well I already have enough clothes and-“
“I’ll buy you the bug spray.”
“What you don’t have-“
“I’m gonna ask to borrow it anyway, now it’s one less thing for me to pack.” She said. “Besides if my mom reads the credit card bill she’ll think I’m being responsible, it’s a win win.”
“I wanted to ask you something, just between us.” Urakaka whispered.
“What’s up, cutie?”
“Deku is always asking you for help with his training, and I wanna know if there’s anything I could do to make myself better as a fighter or just someone to rely on. You know a lot about that stuff.” Urakaka explained.
“I don’t know your areas of weakness besides your quirk being overused. Gunhead gave you some pretty solid training, I could try and teach you what I know, but it might not be what you need. I can’t really help with your quirk, but I’m sure this summer camp will help you. You’re already pretty light on your feet, that’s what most people here have troubles with.”
“You don’t think I’m weak?” Urakaka asked.
“No. I know you might think that because your quirk isn’t the best fighting one there is, you don’t shoot stuff out of your hands or anything, but it seems like you actually work on other things beside your quirk making you a whole hero.” Y/n explained.
“You know, I’m kinda jealous of you. You speak so easily what’s on your mind and it just comes out so easy for you.” Urakaka told her.
“That’s just because I’m not around my family. When I’m with them in public it’s just best to keep my mouth shut, but I’m not really worried about the consequences here.” Y/n told her.
“Are you parents...cold people?” She asked.
“They’re trying their best. They’re very career oriented people.” Y/n explained.
After they got off the subway, the class made their way to the mall. They were surprised to be recognized by civilians. People did surround them and asked questions. Y/n felt like the odd one out. She wasn’t part of this class, and yet now she was. Hagakure made a plan for the class to split up to divide and conquer and to come back in the meeting space.
“Shouji, you should ask Y/n to join us.” Tokoyami said.
“Why, so you can tease me more?” Shouji asked.
“I just figured she would order lunch from the cashier for us.”
“Y/n” Shouji called out to her.
Y/n turned her head to look at him and then stuck her tongue out. She made her choice to join Momo and Jirou instead.
“Looks like she’s not coming with us.”
“You should have flirted with her better.” Tokoyami said.
“That wasn’t flirting.”
“I’m talking about last night.”
Betrayal again!! Shouji didn’t let it bother him too much since the two guys had shopping to do. Should he talk to her about last night? She didn’t seem off or anything...was that normal for her? To open her bed and have a whisper conversation. They weren’t really flirting, just talking about silly concepts. It wouldn’t be weird if Momo were to do that. They were just having a sleepover…except there was that almost kiss…she couldn’t even see him. There was no way she was prepared for a mouth like his. She was just caught up in what right. Like a little summer romance.
“We should play truth or dare at camp.” Y/n told the girls.
“That might be sensitive for you, you gotta tell the truth if you play truth or dare.” Jirou said.
“Then I’ll just pick dare.”
“I dare you to pick the truth.” Jirou said.
“You got me there.” Y/n said.
Momo laughed.
“C’mon can’t you tell us there’s obviously something between you and Midoriya or you and Shouji.” Momo said.
“Why not both.” Y/n teased.
“Awh! You’re too good at this!” Jirou complained.
“I may secretly be in love with Sero, he liked my alligator stapler.” Y/n joked.
“Don’t make it harder to think.” Jirou said.
“Maybe then we should drop it if Y/n doesn’t wanna be open about-“ Momo said.
“No, I’m digging this attention. I wanna hear more how I live rent free in your minds.” Y/n said.
“I don’t remember you ever being like this.” Momo said.
“It would be unladylike of me to have such selfish desire.” Y/n mocked her mother.
“So if you two knew each other before this does that mean, do you remember Momo well?” Jirou asked.
“Momo was the pearl of her parents eyes.” Y/n said. “She may have been a little shy, but she made it a mission to talk to me, because I looked so cool.” Y/n said.
“I just figured since we were the same age-“
“Admit it my frilly little dress and tap shoes was the fit of the century.” Y/n said.
Momo laughed at Y/n’s teasing. They went back to talking and as the rule of three goes, Y/n took the back so her two friends could walk in the front. Life felt normal again. Well her version of normal. She was out with friends with little worries in the world. Her parents were mad at her, but that was expected. Being a teenager is hard and her parents cannot fathom what it’s like. As life goes on, their problems get more complicated. All was well in the world, but when people think that, that’s when disaster strikes. Momo and Jirou got further way as Y/n slowed down. A hand covered her mouth and pulled her to the side, to a privacy behind a store. She was thrown against a wall, one hand went to the side of her face. A blade was pressed against her neck in a threatening way. Her capture was none other than old business partner Dallas. The cold blade shivered against her neck.
“L-long time no see, Dallas.” Y/n said.
“I don’t wanna do this...but I know you were captured by the police .”
To save him.
“I have to know what you told the police. Spill it, everything.”
Not a single thing.
“You know I wouldn’t betray you.” She said.
The blade we pressed deeper into the skin, causing blood to shed.
“You’re lying you have to. What plea deal did they give you, huh?”
“You know if you kill me you’ll lose your best client.” She said hoping that would get him to think rationally.
This wasn’t rational at all. From the knife to the kidnapping. They’re in a mall, in the back of a store, a million cameras had to have caught him. The knife, if she does piss him off, the blood will go everywhere, making endless evidence. But he wasn’t training rationally, this was a last ditch effort. What was the police doing that made him so scared?
“Damn it!” He pulled the knife back and then slammed it into the wall, causing another slice on her neck. “You think I don’t know that? I’m losing way too much. Your mother is trying to go sober to avoid suspicion. I can’t sell anything anyway! And the police haven’t led up at all! They’re choking us out with those damn heroes. You’re caught and you go walk free, what privilege you must have, being so rich you can’t even be kicked down.”
This was not the storyteller that was sneaking drugs into her mailbox. This was someone desperate. He never cared, but he used her loneliness to his advantage. He got too comfortable with the view up top, but now with one of his key players gone, he’s angry.
“What’s killing me going to do? You would have known by now if I betrayed you or you would have been caught .” She told him.
“Shut up!” He punched the wall beside her face.
She was scared despite her remarks. Her warm blood against the cold blade was reminding her how clumsy he was, that he could kill her on accident, here. He was pressing it enough to let some blood out. It trickled down her neck, onto the blade and her shoulder. She didn’t want to die here, but what was the plan? What does he want to know? She doesn’t have anything she can give him.
“What do you wanna know?” She asked.
“Why would I believe for one second you got away with not telling the police anything?” He told her.
“If you stayed behind, you would have seen how injured I got.” She told him. “Excessive brutality.”
“You know I’m kinda jealous of you. People will always pity you and feel like they’re going too hard on you for just existing the way you are. It must be nice to live in one giant cradle!” His voice is like a madman.
That was it. She didn’t want to fight him, but he was picking his words poorly. She undercut his chin. He moved his knife like he was going to strap her in the arm, but missed and got caught in the hit. He jumped back instead of attacking forward. Their eyes locked, shocked out each other’s actions. He ran back into the public instead of finishing the job. She survived. He never wanted to kill her. Maybe he was just consumed with rage when he saw her here at the mall...

For you, I give my all
It’s Hizashi’s birthday in a month. After knowing the blonde for more than 10 years, he didn’t know what else to give for his wonderful birthday. A scandal gave him an idea though.
=============================================================
1 month before H day
=============================================================
‘It’s Zashi’s birthday soon’
THWACK!
‘What should I get for him this year?’
A sounding yell from the right.
‘Should I buy him another cake?’
“YOU FU-“
POW!
‘Maybe Mochi want to wear a suit again?’
“OUCH OUCH! FUCK! DAMN! YOU WIN LET GO!”
“Nope. Not until the police came”
‘We have groom suit last year’
“Eraserhead-san! Thank you for your work! Please leave him here and we will send the fee as usual”
He nodded. He looped his capture weapon into one of the streetlight and made his way back home.
‘Mermaid?’
=============================================================
2 weeks before H day
=============================================================
“Shota!!”
Aizawa looked up from Jirou’s work. He was very glad to see more black rather than red. Very refreshing or as refreshing as it could be for his dry eyes. Certainly better than Kaminari’s.
“What?”
His best friend of 15 years must have seen the happiness radiating from him. She casually slung her arm on his shoulders. She looked up, glancing right and left. Then she whispered.
“Have you find a present for your hubby?”
They have been married for more than 5 years and magically keep it quiet despite their jobs. Nemuri, Tensei, and Nedzu were the only people there and the only people knew about it.
“Nope. I was thinking about getting a cake”
“Cat cake?”
He nodded.
“And-“
“-Mochi catwalking in a suit”
Aizawa glared at her. Of course being best friend for years meaning understanding his circumstances.
“You shouldn’t make things easy to guess, honey”
“Don’t call me that!”
Nemuri moved out of the way when Aizawa’s hand about to slap her arm.
“Well you better search for something better because it’s two more weeks”
Aizawa huffed.
“I know, I know”
Nemuri sauntered to her next prey.
=============================================================
3 days before H day
=============================================================
Aizawa placed a full stop on his last sentence, or might be what he last wrote in 5 minutes. From outside he looked as calm as a still lake. Inside he was burning with firy passion or what he ashamedly called jealousy.
Just yesterday, when he was searching for a venue to celebrate his secret spouse birthday in the newest tabloid, Hi Hero!, rather than a great cafe or family restaurant he found the picture of his husband in his full in hero costume. Underneath it was a big headline “PRESENT MIC OR PRESENT WED!?!” Let’s just say it didn’t take him 5 minutes to double read it and tore it to pieces. It was only a gossip column about a beautiful woman with black long hair and curves in the right places was seen having a deep conversation. Said journalist also mentioned about the many intimate touches during the meeting.
He had think about it again and again. Was it right for him to get mad? Afterall, Hizashi only heeded Aizawa’s wish to keep their marriage under the table. He was the one who asked to place the ring on a necklace than in their ring fingers. He was the one who decline one invitation to another invitation of Hizashi’s radio party. So was it wrong for Hizashi to find a woman, to cheat him? There must be someone out there who deserve him more that Shouta did. Someone that look amazing, eye candy than dry eyes and baggy clothes and unruly hair. Someone with perfect curves than big muscles. Someone funny enough to match his comedic side. Someone who— someone who wasn’t Aizawa Shouta.
“Sensei?!”
Aizawa looked up.
‘When did he sit?’
“Fuck! Get the teachers!”
“I’m on it!”
“Why is he crying?”
‘I am?’
“Did-did we do something?”
“Oh no, poor sensei”
‘It’s not me. It’s poor Hizashi’
Just then, the door to he classroom opened and a pair of hands holding him.
“Shouta? Hey, what’s wrong?”
Aizawa saw blurry mess of black and yellow. Two big and familiar hands cupped his face tenderly. He smelled the most amazing scent in the world, a mix of leather and pine wood. He wanted these. He wanted Hizashi to be by his side forever. Until they have white strands, until it bald, until they retire into old men, until the day they went to heaven together.
The day ended with half lesson, a worried pack of students, a lecture followed with hugs and kisses from Hizashi.
But still with no present.
=============================================================
6 hours before the H day
=============================================================
Knock! Knock!
“Oh hey, Ochako-chan!”
“Hi, Izuku! Sorry for bothering you. Did you get the message?”
“Yeah. Rikido has climbed down the stairs and Bakugou’s cussed was heard even from here. I’m about to go to supermarket to buy other supplies. Momo and several others are going with me”
“Can I join you guys?”
“Sure”
=============================================================
H Day
=============================================================
A flurry of footsteps was heard in the one of U.A’s empty hallway. It has been an hour and half since the last students passed the front gate and went back home. The afternoon light painted broken white wall into a beautiful mix of orange, yellow, and red. One pro-hero was on his way to the supposedly empty classroom. When he opened the classroom, another pro-hero, underground, stood in the middle, looking as shabby as he usually did. But in his green orbs, his husband always a sight to behold, a pearl among trash. Stunning, wonderful, an eye candy. He was blessed to have the honor and call this man his.
“Sho? You’re ready?”
Hizashi didn’t need to give his everyday Present Mic’s greeting. His raven beauty of a husband always knew when he would arrive to go home each day. But today he was surprised to find his spouse of 5 years message him to come and get him, 30 minutes before their appointed time.
“Zashi...”
Shouta called him, beckoning him closer.
Like a moth to a flame, Hizashi was attracted.
“What is it? Are you sick? Something’s wrong?”
Hizashi arrived in front of Shouta, hands immediately took others without any preamble. One of them quickly assessed Shouta’s health.
Was he sick? He looked fine today. Was something amiss? He had made sure everything was okay and ready today.
“Zashi..”
Shouta placed his hands on top of his which were planted on both of Shouta’s perfect cheeks.
When did they move there?
“Happy birthday”
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SENSEIIII!!!!!!”
It was a loud popping sound, colorful triangles, and so many cheers around him. He looked to his left and right and found the kids, their unofficial kids, stood before their hiding places and clapping and yelling and cheering. A glance from Shouta’s shoulder was a decent size cake with yellow frosting -his favourite color!- and adorning it were several radio-shaped fondant. On the top layer, he gasped aloud, were two fondant, created to shape like chibi version of him and Shouta. They were holding hands together and below it was several small figures, their handful kids. Then he looked straight once again. His husband, Aizawa Shouta, was sporting one of his smirk which quickly melted into his fond smile when he realized that Hizashi’s eyes were upon him.
“Oh wow.... Shou, I-God, If we haven’t married yet I would marry you again and again in a heartbeat”
Shouta thrown his head as he laughed freely.
“Me too, Zashi, me too”
Then he had a line of students queuing to shake his hands, given him small trinkets and other things they thought pass as a gift. On the end of the line was Shinsou and Eri, giving him a new headphone and a handmade bracelet.
After the party started, he went to find the conductor of this surprise birthday party. As expected, he was standing in the corner of the room, still trying to blend in the dark. Not very effective as every corner of the classroom was filled with color from a disco ball hung in the middle, how he missed such a big decoration was amazing.
“Hey, husband”
Shouta smiled.
He casually slipped his arm into Shouta’s waist.
“Hey yourself”
Hizashi kissed Shouta’s cheek.
“Does that mean that we are out?”
Shouta nodded
“I also told your colleague in the radio station. Now they can put my name on the invitation party”
“Are you sure?”
“You know I will not do anything I am not sure of”
Hizashi smiled back and kissed Shouta deeply and as less sensually as he could.
“Happy birthday, Zashi”
“Thank you, Sho!!”

you may blame aphrodite
5 times mina is a useless lesbian and 1 time the girl she likes is also a mess
the whole version can be found here or here
+1. jirou
after almost two months of sharing a dorm mina thinks she and jirou have some sort of friendship. their nail polish night helped break the ice and now they go out to dog parks and jirou stops by the ice cream shop with music in exchange for free samples.
their friendship is why mina's never gonna say anything about her stupid crush. she's pretty sure that jirou and yaomomo are dating, so it's not like she even has a chance. bakugo thinks she's stupid but bakugo's bakugo. he's also the only person she's told because sero and kirishima are little shits. mina needs better brothers.
if she had better brothers she wouldn't be cuddling with jirou in her bed as they watch the cat returns. jirou's called her a furry twice even though she's the one who suggested the movie.
mina pulls the blankets up to her chin to see if she can annoy jirou enough to kick her out of bed so she doesn't end up all over her after falling asleep. This plan doesn't work as jirou tugs the blanket back and rests her head on mina's shoulder. her brain starts to scream 'girl! girl! girl!'.
neither girl moves for the rest of the movie and when mina goes to turn it off quiet snores fill the room. mina's torn between recording this and waking jirou up but in the end jirou decides for her as she tugs mina closer to her. she tries to stay awake for a while and inch away from jirou but it's late and she's tired and it doesn't take long for her to fall asleep in jirou's arms.
the next morning mina wakes up to jirou poking her side, redfaced. mina blinks, then she realizes she's using jirou's stomach for a pillow. fuck. it takes her another second to remember that sitting still doesn't equal being invisible and she sits up. jirou nods at her but doesn't move. is this the type of situation where they are supposed to get out of bed now?
mina rolls of the bed in a heap because she's not good with weird tension she doesn't understand. jirou leans over the bed to check on her and mina smiles up at her, she gets a laugh for that and then jirou throws a pillow at her, "get up, i'm not carrying you to class."
it takes them a little longer to actually get moving but eventually they get there. the weirdness between them goes away, which, thank fuck. mina needs a really close friend who doesn't let her blow up stuff. she's hanging off jirou as they walk into breakfast. sero winks at her from where he takes his daily blurry photo of mina being useless around the girl she likes. she swats at him until jirou shoves her onto the bench.
mina peers closely at jirou. she's as sleepy as she always is in the morning so mina puts food on her place and makes sure she doesn't choke or anything.
sero is spoon feeding iida, iida's trying not to blush but it's hard when your boyf is feeding you and a purple haired cat boy is sleeping on your lap. mina's starting to think shinsou and jirou are related because they're both purplish and always sleepy. sero sticks his tongue out at mina when he sees the face she's pulling and mina hmphs and turns back to jirou. jirou's napping on the table.
mina really needs to stop having movie marathons with jirou on school nights. especially since jirou insists on waking up at 7 am with her, most of their class is still sleeping or recovering from whatever game night was going on the night before.
kids eventually trickle in and jirou starts to wake up after bakugo blows up his breakfast on a dare. mina pats jirou's head as an glares at bakugo. she's probably really intimidating but mina's lesbian brain only registers 'hot girl.' it's fine though because mina's used to being reduced to a dumbass around jirou.
once jirou's awake she takes one look at mina's non uniform shoes and grabs her by the hand to drag her back to their dorm. "jirou, c'mon, i'm just going to change into my hero costume or our gym uniform anyways."
jirou turned around and hmed at her, "how do you think aizawas gonna react to you wearing denim flip flops and socks."
"but aizawa will probably be already sleeping," mina protested. the look she got made her reach for the nearest solid thing to hide behind. sero wriggles out of her grip and jumps into iida's arms.
jirou takes her hand back and mina goes with her, slightly less resistant. mina pulls out loafers under jirou's gaze and they walk to homeroom.
mina hooks their arms together and tilts her head towards jirou's to try and hear what she's listening to. jirou may be physically awake but she isn't talkative until homeroom's almost over. she doesn't understand how jirou manages to sleep through aizawas lectures or mina being mina.
jirou acknowledges mina's interest in whatever she's blasting into her ears by giving her one of the earbuds. it's some english song. mina's doing pretty good in english because present mic is helping her out after class (her parents are dying) so she understands most of it. it's something about wanting to be more than friends? mina focuses, "don't wanna be your friend. wanna something something lose your something."
mina shrugs internally. (she doesn't want to move too much because jirou's started to lean on her) she can ask jirou about the song later.
they trip into homeroom as jirou seems to have fallen asleep on mina's shoulder so she helps her into her seat and heads over to hers. jirou slumps on to her desk and mina takes a picture with the phone that technically shouldn't be in her hand at the moment but is. aizawa's probably giving her a look from under his desk.
class is halfway through when aizawa catches her, sero and kirishima's passing notes. she and sero are ganging up on kirishima because he still hasn't asked bakugo out yet. aizawa doesn't read it aloud to the class but he does pass it to bakugo. mina smothers her laugh into her arm as kirishima's quirk activates and his hand gets stuck in his hair. bakugo slowly turns in his seat to look at kirishima, getting a good look of kirishima being an idiot.
class doesn't end in one piece but when things start to go blasty iida scoops sero up in his arms and mina jumps on his back and let's him vroom them out of the room. "whooooo!!!!!!" sero and her yell as they go.
the only person injured is dark shadow, mina doesn't know how a shadow gets injured or how it even got out of tokoyami's insides. she's not sure she wants to know. sero and iida leave her with the rest of 1a as they head off to find shinsou and mina slides next to jirou. class 1a has a sort of break because the room's on fire so they're waiting in the hallway.
"hey," jirou says. "did you get detention for jumping on iida?"
mina tries to lean back onto the wall in a cool-like position. she almost falls. "nah, if i did iida would try to take detention as well and i don't know if that's legal."
jirou laughs even though mina's a dumbass and her laugh is so good mina almost falls again. jirou reaches over to stabilize her and winks once she's gotten her footing. mina opens her mouth to say something most likely stupid when she hears music from jirou's earbuds.
"hey, you were playing that earlier," mina moves closer to try and hear. for some reason jirou's cheeks are red. "what song is that?"
jirou swallows, "it's. uh it's called i wanna be your girlfriend."
mina's brain disconnects, "oh? that's nice."
jirou nods slowly, "yes. it is."
"i like it."
"me too."
the girls stand there in the hallway staring at each other. mina thinks she should do something but she's not sure what. it's not like jirou wants to be her girlfriend, that's just the name of the song.
jirou nods again, maybe there's something wrong with her neck-"i've been listening to it for a reason," she says. she must be getting really close with yao-momo, mina thinks.
"i like you," jirou tells her. she's playing with her earphone's so she must be worrie-
mina blinks. "me? are you sure?" there's a groan somewhere in the background and a noise that sounds like bakugo's face hitting his palm.
jirou's almost as pink as her at this point, " yeah idiot. i like you. i wanna be your girlfriend and stuff."
mina doesn't completely know what's going on but she crashes into jirou and hugs her tight as she can. jirou laughs as mina picks her up and spins around and holy fuck mina's so ducking happy. jirou taps on her shoulder to be let down and mina puts her back on the ground, gently as she can.
the two girls share a stupid smile as they stand in front of each other. "kiss!!" hagakure tells them. mina winces as she remembers their class is in the hall with them. jirou flops under mina's arm and rudely gestures to their class.
they stay close together for the rest of the day. sero keeps making kissy faces, thankfully bakugo and kirishima are too busy figuring out feelings to make fun of mina's feelings. when curfew starts mina and jirou pass by aizawa holding hands.
mina's pretty sure they're breaking a rule dating and rooming. that's pretty cool. when she tells that to jirou jirou laughs and kisses her cheek.
they aren't doing anything different than before as they put in kiki's delivery service. mina's determined to make sure she and jirou finish all the ghibli movies.
when they're about to climb into bed mina stops, "are we sharing a bed?"
jirou pauses, "which one?" the girls stare at each other. it takes them a little longer and a google search to decide to push the beds together. mina folds herself into jirou's arms, it feels like the safest place in the world. jirou presses a kid to the top of her head, "night."
mina's face has a stupid grin, "g'night."

Fanfic projects I am/REALLY WANT to work on
Mob Psycho:
Noir!Takeritsu AU---Okay, so the name is misleading, but I still really love it, and... *drops a month and a half’s worth of research on the table* I AM TRYING, OKAY GUYS?! Part of me still really wants to make it cyberpunk, or at least near-future, but I always feel weird writing actual sci-fi (as opposed to science-based fantasy) and. That keeps getting in the way. I have 2.5 chapters (and twelve different versions of chapter one fuck my brain fuck my life) and. I. Will. Finish. It. Even if I’ve basically dropped the noir style, because, well, I can’t do stylistic writing; I always wind up fussing over my word choice, and wind up losing the project. Bonus Headcanons: *holds up Temporary Roomates, Sickfic, Kissing To Maintain Our Cover, Journey To The Center Of The Mind, Saved By The Power Of Love, and other choice tropes I am way to invested in* ...It’s gonna be good.
Eldritch!MP100 AU---*distant screaming* I HAVE SO MANY IDEAS AND NO FUCKING PLOT/NO FUCKING SCENES GODDAMNIT FUCKFUCKFUCK--
BNHA: (It’s All Iideku, Because We Need More Fucking Iideku)
Color!Soulmates---The AU where the first time you touch your soulmate leaves a colored mark on your skin. Did I rewatch both seasons paying waaaaayyy too much attention to Deku’s shoulders for this? Yes. Which I why I can tell you that if he kept the handprint on his shoulder a secret (because Iida didn’t notice his own mark until after the exam, can’t quite place where he got it, and doesn’t want to assume or impose on one of his friends... meanwhile Izuku is both embarrassed and intimidated around Iida at first, and so when Iida doesn’t seem to know when his own mark showed up on the first day of class, Izuku decides to keep his a secret and just get to know his soulmate a bit first; then he feels guilty for not telling him sooner,) it would take until the SPORTS FESTIVAL for anyone to see it; even then, it’d just be a brief glimpse before Recovery Girl shooed them back out of the nurse’s office. Bonus Headcanons: While marks can form through clothing, skin-to-skin contact causes temporary blossoms of color. Soulmates are expected to call eachother by their first names, and Izuku spends so much time working not to call Iida “Tenya” by mistake. Even though Iida suspects after the Sports Festival, he doesn’t want to make Izuku feel awkward by bringing it up, and can’t think of any reason his good friend would keep something like that a secret. Bonus scene in the Stain Arc, because Iida should be able to reach out to his soulmate, but whoops, wait, nope, haven’t confirmed that, sorry for imposing Midoriya, I’l just be going now... Finally talk to eachother about it after Todoroki makes a joke about being jealous, and then basically calls them stupid for not being together by now. (Side-order of Tenkoi--mentioned, if probably not shown--because MY GODS, the Iida brothers would have their soulmarks in exactly the same location, CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!)
Haunted!AU---The no-quirk AU where Iida buys a run-down house with a bad reputation, intending to remodel it, only to find he’s not alone in that building. Meanwhile, Deku’s clearest memory of his life is the moment it ended, trapping him in the prison that is the house on the hill until he can finish his unfinished business... whatever the hell it was. Neither can fully interact with the other’s version of reality, and are stuck trying to find the places where those overlap so they can make their peace with their new housemate, and maybe learn something about themselves in the process. Bonus Headcanons: Listen, Tenya doesn’t believe in ghosts, but he also doesn’t want to worry his family, especially when the only logical explanation is that he has completely lost it; time to call in the ghostbusters (aka, Momo, Jirou, and Kaminari, with Todoroki getting dragged along behind them) to reassure him that all of this is real. Deku feels really bad for freaking him out so much. Also, Uraraka is a local medium, not that she really markets that, and her weekend hikes up the hill to chat with Deku are largely responsible for keeping him sane the last few years. It starts out pretty creepy, and then devolves into fluffy remodeling-shenanigans and writing notes on foggy windows and stuff for eachother, but still with that mystery edge? And in the end, when everything else is sorted out and Izuku can wander freely again, the only remaining piece of unfinished business he has left is making sure Tenya is happy, so he sticks around for that.
Stardust!AU---seriouslyoneofmyfavoritemoviesofalltime After Tensei’s injury, the local healer tells his family that no cure from their world would ever be enough to restore his legs, adding jokingly that they’d need a fallen star to save him now. Tenya, never the best with humor or irony, tries to find out what that means, and discovers an old legend that different parts of a fallen star were said to have different curative powers (with the heart of it supposedly being able to “cure death itself.”) When, not even a week later, he watches a star streak overhead and disappear across the horizon, he takes off after it in the hopes of helping his brother; he did not expect to find Izuku, a young man with golden freckles, wild hair, and a smile like a sunrise, sitting at the bottom of a crater with two broken limbs. Bonus Headcanons: The Babylon candle is lent to Iida by Yaoyorozou; her grandmother traded all of their family’s magic for it, but she doubts any of them will ever have a practical use for it (it’s main value is being a magical item that can work beyond the Wall.) Iida doesn’t take Izuku prisoner, but he does feel responsible for possibly making his broken limbs worse, and insists on carrying him to the nearest village to get fixed up (not knowing if the candle can transport two people.) Shigaraki wants the heart of a star to heal his ailing master, Aizawa is the captain (“We’re not pirates--technically, it’s not illegal,”) and like half of 1-A are the crew. Neither Iida nor Deku are the missing prince; Todoroki ran away from home, and has been in hiding for the last few years, and will be just one of many people they encounter along their journey as I pull in the book for more character rolls and a longer timeframe!
Pain!Soulmate AU---This AU is actually twofold. The first is that different people find their soulmates in different ways--all the classics, you know, the color-touch, color-sight, words-on-your-skin, TiMER, etc.--and the one between Tenya and Izuku is the one where you share pain. The second is that All Might was too slow saving Izuku from the Sludge Villain, and poor Midoriya wound up in a coma, while also having an out-of-body experience. Being smart boys, he and Iida had worked out a way of communicating through their bond (light pinching and scratching is no more self harm than writing notes on your skin... I have had this argument with people before about the pain-bond soulmates thing, I’m not having it again. They’d both have a book of morse code or something in their hands by the end of the first year, and you know it!) but have both always sorta relished in the mystery of the whole thing, and so never actually exchanged names or addresses or anything... they agreed to meet either on the day of the entrance exam, or the first day at Yuuei if the crowds thwarted them ten. When that first day rolls around, and Tenya is finally beginning to lose the last bit of hope that maybe he’s wrong, maybe his soulmate has just been... busy, or something, finally moved away from whoever hurt them, and that’s why they haven’t responded in ten frickin’ months, he’s distracted from his misery by a friendly boy he meets at the bus stop on his way out of school; a boy who seems to have an involuntary perception-altering quirk, because no one else can see him. Bonus Headcanons: Izuku can still feel Tenya’s pain in his current state, but without any nerve endings, Tenya can’t feel his. Izuku can’t interact with anything that has weight, but after Uraraka uses her powers on a pencil, he befriends both her and Tsuyu by writing notes to them. Things play out very differently for the first years, because there is no Deku in their class. No, I have no fucking idea how to handle the Stain arc. SUFFER WITH ME.
