i remember back when people watched and openly discussed and theorized on leaked content. now you have people sending death threats and mass reporting entire accounts off the internet because they watched a leak.

i truly do not think leaks are bad. in any aspect. there, i said it.

if someone got ahold of internal media for a show or movie i was making i wouldn't be mad. yeah the loss of hype might make me a lil upset but otherwise this is nothing but a net gain.

you get viewer feedback at a point in production when almost every show/movie/song is still being changed and altered and figured out.

you get additional hype because now people have little snippets to go off of, theorize about, and wonder what the final product will be.

and it means people care about your show/movie/song/story so much that they don't want to wait and will take any bits and pieces you will give them. to me it's a highest compliment to have people trying to leak your work.

and despite what some of you seem to believe, no one is going to just not watch the actual release in favor of a leak. get over yourself.
