Even though the king is often busy and doesn’t really visit the upperworld unless necessary, but he sure does know a lot of dieties out there, including you

He only heard about your title like “f/n the disaster bringer” or “f/n the god/goddess of stupidity” he lowkey wanted to know who this deity is

You often run around in valhalla messing with gods and goddesses, pranking all of them and get kicked out sometimes, even Loki is afraid of going near you but ended up being your sidekick

Now that piqued the helheim ruler’s interest, how did someone even managed to do something even worse than loki?

He decided to come out to the upperworld more often to observe you from afar. He wanted to know more about you and maybe hang out around sometimes since he haven’t seek any fun in his life for a long while after all, though he have tons of work to finish

There he sees you pulling out your shenanigans stupidly, how cute. Your chaotic behavior may seem dumb and annoying to other deities but to him? He found it adorable and fascinating on how you come up with new ways of pranking deities none stop

H/c deity was found pushing Loki lightly made him dropped whatever he’s holding “jeez f/n! You’ll never ever get tired of bullying me do you, oh well. That’s what I found cute about you~” Loki said teasingly as he bent down to reach for the object only to feel a hard smack on his ass, his body jumped up highly like those goofy cartoons, yelped loudly from the impact on his butt. He turn look back at you with an angry wojak expression, his fist clenching being one centimeter close to blow your head off with a single punch

You whistles casually and ran away “this is the sixth time of this week that you abused my cheeks you stupid as—!!! *slurs*” you saw him chasing after you, running for your dear life, you tried to find a way to escape him cause you know damn well if he finally get you then he’s gonna slap your bakery back with immense amounts of strength that could send you to the oblivion

You found a tall intimidating god, you didn’t look up to see who he is or you have any clue of it, you hid behind him, sticking your tongue out at Loki. The mischievous god sighs and asked the tall god “sir, I apologize for that gremlin and for the commotion. May I have them back?” Loki smiles sarcastically. The tall god chuckles… wait, you recognize his voice “I’m afraid you’ll have you get your revenge later” oh shit. Is that… is that Hades? You thought as you lean to his side to look up and see his face while Loki floats away in defeat

You stare at him, who’s watching Loki leave, he is Hades the king of the helheim… he’s even handsome up close, suddenly his gaze switches to your eyes as he look at you with a gentle smile

“Where’s my thank you hm?” Your soul flew back to your body and you bowed deeply, head digging down the floor “uhh thank you very much mister!” You said, not looking at him. Hades was about to say something but was cut off by you fleeing away from him as fast as you can, leaving him confused and amused

You actually have been crushing on Hades for a while now, obviously you rant about him to Loki

Every time you see him greeting gods and goddesses so formally, unlike you. Makes your toxic traits says you can do that too

Well you actually tried that but failed, miserably

You often sneaked into the underworld to see your fellow friends like hypnos and definitely not Hades

He’s like your biggest crush or smth, when you saw him training or slaying any titans so majestically or his gaze lays on you, literally those night at your house would be you giggling and kicking your feet thinking about him

You often see him in events, celebrations and parties that mostly zeus being the host(of course) and you see how nice, well mannered and perfect he is

He’s like completely opposite to you which made you believe that he couldn’t be with you, he deserves an independent, formal and smart person, a person who’s as perfect as him not a goofy comedian… at least that’s what you thought

After your first direct encounter, you’re so close to explode every time the moment he made an eye contact with you again

Hades decided, soon he’ll get to know more about you and maybe got together… wait what?

You were hanging out in Valhalla again, but this time. You’re alone, sleeping while your back leaning against a tree in the garden while shifting uncomfortably

A presence seems to be approaching your slumbering form quietly, not daring to wake you up from your beauty sleep. The presence looms over your unconscious body, whoever it is, stepped beside you and laying down next to you without making any sound.

Your uncomfortable shifting was not unnoticed by the person next to you, hands slowly caress your back and sides silently, your upper body was caressed gently, being guided by the hands, which make your body turns aside. Suddenly your head lays on a soft surface, a fabric texture. One of the person’s hand now rest on your head and stroking your hair so tenderly. With the change of position and feeling something on your head, it causes your eye lids to open up slowly, expected to meet a sunlight but instead, observing the sight in front of you made you realized your current position.

You were sleeping on Hades’ lap?! While he’s stroking your hair?!?!?!

“Wha-“

“Hush, dear. Go back to your rest”

Your slightly widened eyes stare at his gentle ones, as gentle as his smile that’s being portrayed on his face

You were about to ask more questions but quickly got shut up by Hades’ lip placing against your forehead. Saying you’re shock would be an understatement. Hades’ lift his head up slightly, moving to place another kiss on your already pink dusted cheek

After calling for your soul to come back to your body, yet you still can’t move, not that you want but you’re actually that surprised. But you collect all your courages left and leans up to his face, leaning in slowly and place a peck on his cheek, the same way that he does to you, which made him surprised, but it was quickly replaced by his silly smile

He peck you back on the forehead while his hand run up to your head and pat it dearly, you feel like you can die right there, like fr

Hades lean against the tree and lift you up by your lower parts, placing you up on his lap and he guides your head to rest on his shoulder

He didn’t expect your second encounter would be this… lovely and sweet, he loves it a lot. He felt like everything that mattered his mind vanished while there’s only you in his head, he had never seen your peaceful side before and he love it, honestly he admire everything about you to the point he didn’t realized his feelings developed more and more

The two rest together under the tree in a garden peacefully, no one dares to mind them or even see them in the first place. At least one person saw and ran away to go weeping in the corner

You and Hades eventually become closer and closer together, even if the two’s personalities are as different as day and night, rumors starts to spread about Hades being your boyfriend or smth

I kid you not, when Poseidon heard about this he’s beyond disappointment. Out of all god and goddesses, you??? While zeus actually being supportive and adamas is just, shocked

Hades didn’t mind the rumors, he actually likes it since its just fun to tease you something like “we look like couples don’t you think?”

You almost leave him a scar

He’s actually starting to get serious about his feelings, does he think of you as a friend? Of course! That’s what he at least tried, cause seeing you with Loki makes him rethink his plan about confession

One day he was about to meet you in Valhalla like usual, smiling a bit. Once he’s close to your meet up place. A frown soon took over his face when he sees you and Loki together

He was about to turn away but a few words reached his ears

“What if he didn’t like me back?”

“He’s obvious as fuck!”

“Wait really?”

Hades turn back to see your nervous form looking around, probably looking for him? Hell yea!

You cleared your throat and trying to recall all the practices you did with Loki, only to stand in front of him awkwardly. Hades’ calm expression turn into confusion and lean himself in to see what’s mattering you

You startled by Hades again and trying to form a sentence

“Okay so, I’ve been crushing on this guy lately…”

Hades’ frown slightly and straightened his back. He only stood silently, he doesn’t even have to ask who it is cause it’s probably Loki, if it’s another person then, why would you tell him and not Loki?

“He’s a very cool god, I used to watch him from afar and admire him, I never thought of approaching him or talk to him because he’s Zeus’ brother. I’m scared he wouldn’t want to date an unserious deity because he’s more than a divine being”

Hades expression changed into a shocked one as he awkwardly spoke up

“Poseidon?”

You look up at him with a “bro what?” Face and facepalm. Do you really have to confess more? You thought he’s more clever than this!

“No… it’s not Poseidon!”

That’s obvious enough judging from Hades’ even more shocked expression. You pray he doesn’t reject you or if he does then at least doesn’t damage your relationship, you heard a soft chuckle left Hades’ lips and a reply

Since he have quite lots of work, he’s quite clingy. When he have a free time he would cuddle you and spending times with you ended up with him going back to his work late

He loves you with all of his heart and he never dares to not return the affections because you have to feel how good you make him feel!

He’s also not ashamed of giving you affection or you giving him too much in public, like when he’s having a meeting with the Olympus gang. You who weren’t even invited is sitting on his lap and calling him like “hades my pookie bear” he loves it a lot and love his relatives’ reactions (Poseidon being the most disgusted)

Thanks for burying any serious posts about the allegations against Lily under a bunch of stupid wojaks, I’m sure she appreciates your blog for making discussions about the harm she caused harder to find and turning the whole conversation around them into a big joke.

1. I'm not. Users who have much more reach than me show up in search before I do. I realize I show up a lot, but.

2. I've signal boosted important discussions as much as I can. I've even spoken at length about a lot of them myself. Again, though, I've got limited reach.

3. A lot more people are primarily focused on those discussions. One more blog doing that won't change much.

4. Babes, I'm sorry, but you gotta understand that though, serious discussion is important, those of you who think you're going to "bring down" Lily, it's not going to happen. Lily is likely never going to be arrested for Stockholm, for this or that, for whatever. The thing Lily has the best chance (though it's also rather unlikely) of getting Lily arrested in the Canadian legal system would involve asking a certain person to do something they would have already done if they felt up to it. And I don't blame them for not wanting to put themselves through that humiliation for possibly nothing to come of it. As a victim of similar violence-- me too, frankly.

5. The reality is that trans people, women especially, are FALSELY accused of this kind of stuff constantly, especially on the internet. When I heard of Lily for the first time (this was years ago, mind you), I didn't like her. But I was hesitant to believe every single claim about her myself at first because I know the internet is like. If I hadn't dug deeper to find Lizzy and Brit's testimony, I would have assumed these were people targeting a trans woman for being abrasive on the internet. Even then, if Brit didn't have those screenshots and if Lizzy didn't seem like she had no other reason to speak out. Lily knows this and uses this to her advantage.

6. Lily's fans have heard the allegations by now. A lot of people who find Lily and like her do so because she speaks with a lot of authority and knows how to make herself sound smarter than she is. She has given them reason not to have to think about their validity. This sucks and feels as wrong to me as it does to you, but a lot of this comes down to internal bias and what people want to believe. It's vibes. So, unfortunately, what has a better chance of getting people to reconsider those more serious allegations is making Lily look foolish.

7. If you don't believe me that this is true, see how much more reach discussion of Lily's stupid Steven Universe video and her Writing Tips list has gotten over everything else. More than even Joon's video and Courtney's allegations. Again, I don't want to make it sound like that information being out there and accessible doesn't matter, it does, but. I hate it as much as you do, but people by and large would rather engage with taking the piss than the dark, heavy shit like the [alleged] actual crimes Lily has committed.

9. I'm not going to sit here and fluff my own ego that my intentions here are entirely altruistic. They're not. Lily personally bothers me. As a trans person, as a victim of CSA/SA, as someone who's been in an abusive relationship with someone Lily reminds me of, as a person who cares about socialist politics and media literacy. Again, let me reiterate, I knew about her for YEARS before starting this blog and hoped she'd vanish into the ether-- never to be mentioned again. She did not. She likely never will. I've been into the idea of leaving around Zines for a while. Every time I walk into a coffee shop or local business, I think "wow, I really would wish there was something cool to read." So I started making things to put there: 8 small 2.5 inch panels, folded into one 2.5 inch square for those interested to unravel. I put them inside of these origami boxes that a learned how to make, ones with a logo printed on them.

So far I've made: a zine template (I call it a dog ear zine for some reason), a template for the box to put them in, a zine about using yt-dlp, a zine about a reindeer working IT (along with a collaborator) and (coming soon) a zine about a monster in a cave doing stuff. All of the odg LibreOffice Draw template files to make your own zines or print out mine are on my archive.org page (linked at top of my Tumblr). I'd really like other people to try this 8 panel 2.5 inch zine format, and I'm willing to bribe people with sweet, sweet Gabe Newell bucks to do it. You can submit as many zines in this format as you want. Just make sure they're printed out and have pictures of both the front and back (plus other pictures if you want) . In the video I mentioned you can use my submit page, which is probably the easiest for me to keep track of. You can also use the #dogearzine hashtag to enter. Also, and this is completely unrelated, there's a lot more to me than just the faux-clickbait Wojak thumbnails. I like doing tech, wrestling, japanese, vidya and other videos, but I love to throw art in whenever I can shoehorn it in. Like, the video where I go over inchworm, butterfly, colors 3D and flipnote sudomemo - colors 3D on a hacked 3DS was my sister's first experience with digital at (she's moved up to an iPad and Procreate). So, it hold a special place in might heart, as a lot of the things I talk about do. I made a Whomp video because I miss Ronnie. I made a Rockbox video because I wished more people used dedicated MP3 players and knew where and how to download music. I want to help people do interesting things. I honestly think the current use of "Nazi" only undermines the actual atrocities of the Holocaust and WW2. Because at the end of the day, you're comparing actual horrors that affected people's lives to stupid culture wars and everyone going crazy. (Or worse, you're forgetting them) Like imagine someone saying they never got to meet their grandparents because they died in the 1940's and they're told "shut up, I had to put up with someone that disagreed with me on the computer". In fact, I except a Breadtuber to have a "mask off" moment where in a video he says "unfortunately, you hate Nazis the wrong way" or some shit like that. Because even people that are left leaning can still be labeled "Nazi" over specific opinions, since the word is used in a very black-and-white way. Even though the Nazis' actions do come from their politics and ideology, I feel like people need to remember other ideologies that also caused suffering and death, because of how they're established. (Looking at people who idolize Communism even though there's still people that were affected by it in recent times). Or even some historical context because there was always a time when Hitler wasn't thinking of hating Jews or when some people didn't know what would happen.

Basically, think of that time travel paradox of going back in time to kill Hitler: The Hitler before he became Hitler may be different enough that if you managed to kill him before he was Hitler, you didn't really kill Hitler... know what I'm saying? I know that HP Lovecraft thought "they just wanted to preserve their culture I guess" but felt disgusted hearing what happened later (Same guy that technically got less racist over time, whose cat got his name from his dad and only didn't change it because he felt it would be unfair to a cat). But Charlie Chaplin did dislike the Nazis and even got some people upset at him before he had a "I told you so" moment, sort of. (Again, research well what I'm bringing up). I'm also sure people will look up Miyazaki drawing fanart of a Nazi tank and I guess even meeting the guy that drove it, but not realize that his stance of Nazi villains in media correlates with his stance on Orcs in LOTR (Compare that to Extra Credit). What else can I mention? Azov Battalion? Kanye West? Israel? Stroheim from JoJo? We know Nazis are fun to have as villains in games and movies but the way how stuff lately makes a specific point of being "anti-Nazi" is goofy when you realize our current sociopolitical context.

(Specially with Millenials, who are noticed for being struggling adults, essentially getting into politics in a way that comes off as "TAKE ME SERIOUSLY I'M A GROWN UP"). Nazis have become historical characters to us and you're also giving too much credit to mister 1944BasedMAGAGroyper guys who talk about how anime is degenerate while making shitty comics with Wojaks, using AI art to replicate the "good Christian artworks" (Because they never took arts seriously, cuz I guess arts are a liberal thing to them) and maybe they do an "Anti-Woke" cover of a popular song.

And as for Musk, I do wonder if he did that salute just because he simply wanted to "own the woke for the lulz" without realizing it'd make him look worse than he already is. If nothing else, it distracted people from bringing other shit up like that photo of him with Ghislaine Maxwell or H-1B visa. He still has diehard cultist fans but I expect his stupidity to lead to more people turning against him. But I see people posting fictional characters beating up Hitler and it's not like you're doing this to respesct Holocaust victims or the Allies. It's because of a fat fuck in office who could probably die of a heart attack before he finishes his second term. Or maybe I've been exposed to too much Trump shit that part of me is like "heh, whatever" and forgetting how bad it can get. Perhaps it's the notion that most politicians have so much dirty laundry, it feels like people are going "we should've had this corrupt reptile instead" like dude, Trump was a buddy of Epstein and Biden's got a whole mess of a son. While this blog isn't centered around anything in particular beyond whatever I'm obsessing over at the time, it's usually associated with Dead by Daylight. However we are currently in an Attack on Titan era due to me watching the show for the first time. So I decided to take inspiration from Otzdarva's Lore Build videos and try to come up with some lore builds for some of the Attack on Titan skins.

Note: These builds aren't really supposed to be competitively viable, hell some of these perks are borderline unusable, but I went with what I thought fit the character thematically or encouraged a play style fitting to them. Also I tried to explain certain mechanics for people unfamiliar with Dead by Daylight and listed the characters each perk belongs to in case you aren't sure. So that's why it gets a little wordy lmao. Also some spoilers for the show ahead.

I struggled with a fourth perk for this, before settling on Rancor I tried it with Iron Grasp and Agitation based off Reiner carrying Eren, Bertolt and Ymir for hours without Eren escaping. So those work too

Hange my beloved. Fairly self explanatory. Some of the pronoun usage is a little confusing in retrospect in terms of when I'm referring to Hange and when I'm referring to a group but i think you can still get the gist.

This build works best if the Obsession is Eren, just saying.

(yeah I don't own the Eren skin yet so I used the artwork sue me. And yes this does look nicer but damn it it's 7am, I haven't slept and I'm not redoing the others, not for 10 years at least) Originally I was gonna make this a pre timeskip Eren build since that's what Dwight is cosplaying, but then I realised all my ideas were "get your ass beat and all four perks kick in on the floor" so I tossed in Dark Sense and Blast Mine as a little bit of edgy war criminal Eren love.

(Another skin I don't own and another that looks far nicer. Also whoever on the Dead by Daylight wiki made that icon why did they make Levi the chad wojak?) I wanted to avoid perks overlapping otherwise it would've turned into everyone having Lithe, Decisive Strike and Flashbang probably. However I couldn't resist giving Levi and Mikasa Lithe as it fit the two of them I feel. In terms of alternate perk choices for Levi I considered Diversion because of when the threw the chair at Kenny (who's a character I wanted to include but I couldn't think of perks for him) and Adrenaline for fairly obvious reasons. And yes Lithe and Head On conflict but I see plenty of people run them together and somehow always have the one they need ready to go so eh.

There's five characters, five builds. Enough to fill up a lobby. This was spur of the moment at 3am so it's not very pretty looking and might not be entirely coherent but I think it gets the information across. I really enjoyed coming up with these as a newly created shameless AOT fanboy and multi year prisoner of Dead by Daylight.

Me to Dirk and Jake at our weekly couples counseling (they’ve been skipping them for multiple weeks now and they’re both sitting there looking disheveled presumedly after a nasty fight): You know the only way I can see this relationship going is a violent and bloody breakup turning into an undefined kismesis and I think you two should get with the memo and start kissing.

Thankyou for this ask. :) I didn’t expect people to be interested in it so much. Well, I started off by collecting a selection of songs to carry a certain vibe, and then look for others in my library that match them. For the Ultimate Dirkjake playlist, (WHICH I RECOMMEND YOU LISTEN TO WITH SHUFFLE OFF, IN THE ORDER IT WAS PLACED) I wanted to convey violence (as a form of love, and something I’ll probably touch on in another ask I’ve been drafting up), and the general obsession they have with each other. 

I screened each songs lyrics to make sure it’s not really just “vibe” that carries them, they have to have the majority of their lyrics relate to Dirk or Jake in one way or other as i think of them., and then chunk them according to what leads smoothly into the other song, though the first 9 songs tell a story on purpose.

For example, we start off with Mr. Blue Sky. They say every good movie starts off with a killer soundtrack, and Mr. Blue Sky is just one of those universally loved tracks that just hit right, and I think it's also because mentally I was reminded of that killer Guardians of the Galaxy 2 fight scene in the very beginning, setting the tone for a really great film.

Kiss with a fist is a song that is about love that is violent, love that is NOT, mind you, abusive, but a metaphor for the strength of a lovers passion. There is no victimisation, "the song is describing a highly destructive relationship, but one which both partners enjoy. But it’s all metaphorical." It fits well for Dirk and Jake in my mind. Their passion is destruction, and one they take to with passion. It's alluring.

You're nothing without me is *the* song of all time for Ult Dirkjake. It was one of the first songs I found that fit them so perfectly, I mean seriously, look at these lyrics.

You're nothing without me / Without me you'd just disappear / Right into thin air / And no one would care / Or notice you ever were here A puppet, an upstart / A loser who's destined to fall / I'm everything / you always wanted to be / Let's deal with the issue: / You wish you were me / You're nothing without me / Without me you're nothing / At all!

Dirk and Jake bridle on a rivalry built on love, and with a rivalry, you must to some regard, regard the other as lower and yourself higher than them, which Dirk and Jake do, they're very well aware of it, and that is what Ultimate DirkJake is, it's them acknowledging these upfront in a way to mock and belittle the others in a verbal duel.

Like every other Dirkjaker, a Dirkjake playlist is not complete without Lemon Demon. Lemon Demon is intrinsically threaded within the matter of Dirkjake, whether it be two trucks, a touch tone telephone, or in this case, The Satirists Love Song. "This song is about a cynical individual who basically proclaims to his ex-lover, “IT’S JUST A PRANK, BRO,” claiming the relationship was purely satirical and never intended to be taken seriously." Which sounds like a massive cope because it reads just like that. A massive COPE and SEETHE, which could not be more on the point of Ultimate Dirk as it is.

And speaking of Ult Dirk.. we lead into DESTROYER, by saint motel. It's a song about a guy whos exlover is someone who literally claims they don't just break hearts, they destroy them. It takes one look at the lyrics for you to stand up, wojak point at these words, and recognise Jake English and his predicament over what society tells him to do, and what he desires. And what could he use to truly pacify someone like Ultimate Dirk Penelope Strider?

A slug to the head, in the form of Take Me Out. This song is fucking awesome, I've had it looped for a long while. It's about a standoff, romantic in nature, where two sides are both unmoving in their affection, though they do desperately desire it, for the other to take them out in a metaphorical or literal sense. Their intentions are apparent, but neither wants to give away their position.

Naturally that leads to rejection in the form of Misanthropologist by Will Wood. This song was recommended to me by exaltiora and i think it perfectly describes the plight Dirk Strider keeps himself awake at night with, when it comes to the prick of an ex who stubbornly wouldn't let him fade into space.

And that frustration, that frustration of something so great, can turn to sadness, to grief, which is why we continue with Stay, by the rare occasions. I love The Rare Occasions music, but it was while i was watching my friend Lapa draw a piece of Ult Dirkjake art that it sunk in how it fit them. Before Lapa really started drawing, I never considered Ult Dirkjake that tragic, it was supposed to be a fun way to continue the story of characters I loved, but this song resonated and i realised how sad it could be, two characters who lost themselves seeking "ascension". I think of strangely "tender" moments between the two, with some confusion by the other on why they stick around. Dirk and Jakes relationship is so real in canon, but post-canon, they sort of lose that sincerity, unraveled so to speak.

New Person, Same Old Mistakes, captures that. Dirk and Jake are new people, post-canon they lose all the fondness and innocence afforded of their canon selves.

I can just hear them now / "How could you let us down?" / But they don't know what I found / Or see it from this way 'round / Feeling it overtake / All that I used to hate / One by one, every trait / I tried, but it's way too late

Ult Dirkjake is supposedly a culmination of their other selves affording them omniscience, (to varying degrees?) , but it also means that all their biggest flaws are amplified, whether it's Dirks micromanaging tyrant like behaviour or Jake English being jake English, (and yes i mean that in a derogatory manner). They can claim they're larger than life, greater than great, badder than bad, entirely new people, but they will make the same mistakes.

Shit, i've been rambling for a while. Miiight make a part two if asked, I've calibrated the songs that they blend into each other well without having to shuffle, so like I said, listen to the songs, look at the lyrics. I added two new songs, Rival screams LE jake to me, while bubblegum bitch.. well it's on here because of this one video LOL. It's so right. Thankyou for reading this far! Enjoy the video. Past DU ask: 55, 63 and 80 about Kaidos?

55. Did the gazette ever print an article about them (or their deeds), what's the headline and what did they feel about it?

Most likely when he was younger and much less skilled, in that limbo between killing his adoptive family and being taken into the Temple of Bhaal, something was probably printed. I think I briefly mentioned it in that fic I did from Sceleritas' POV (Know That I Love You Most) that there were rumours around the Lower City of 'a creature with eyes that burned as hot as Avernus' killing animals and people.

From that little bit, I feel that Baldur's Mouth Gazette would probably do one of those articles of 'who is this ghost lurking in the shadows??? how much do we know about this monster???' just for it to end in them not knowing really anything at all about him.

Within the moment, Kai was probably freaking out about too many other things to even read a newspaper and ultimately would have been unaware he was turning into an urban legend. However, Sceleritas Fel easily could have little cutouts of the articles and then show them to Kai later on in a 'look how you started out so young!! oh im so proud of you!! type thing. And then at that point, he likely would just be frustrated he was ever so sloppy to let something like these articles even have a chance to come about.

63. The sweet sweet smell of gore, we've all heard about it. But is it really sweet to them? Or does it just smell like metal and rot?

I'm sure Bhaal would have put something in a Bhaalspawn to hardwire them to like the smell of blood.

Kaidos wouldn't be any different, with or without the insanely sensitive sense of smell I gave him lol. I feel like he would like it, but then he is covered in it so much he becomes immune to the smell and forgets what it's actually like.

I also take from that one bit in the colony under Moonrise where if you take Astarion to Durge's smashed up pod, he can recognise the smell of the blood being your own specific 'bouquet'. I feel like Kai could do that too, and he would especially like the smell of, say, well fed nobility (and gortash). They eat rich meats, and bread without fillers added to them, and so they probably smell like an absolute treat to Kai when split open.

80. What went through your head when you crafted these little Durge doll, dear creator? Are they a self inserted of sorts or as far removed from you as possible?

When I first decided to make a Durge, I already knew the spoiler about them being Bhaalspawn. So I went into it with mainly just the image of a guy who could do all those horrible things, but just with the brute force of his bare fists. So not only did I want a monk, but I also wanted a guy that just really looked the part of being evil and strong. I went with a tiefling not only because obviously they are very cool but also the vanilla face that I use for Kai?? SO gorgeous and handsome. Every time I see another person using that same head I feel like that wojak of the guy pointing.

But Kaidos is nothing at all like me (thankfully lol). But me making big strong scary tiefling came first, then all the extra personality parts of him beyond canonical durge traits came second after I properly got to learn the origin story.

I guess it's just very lucky that I really loved my first durge this much (and I genuinely can't see myself ever making another at this point) and accidentally got colour schemes that fit the theming of the Bhaalist cutscenes.
