Party Girl P - p.b
‣ Clingy Drunk Paige Bueckers x Reader (inspired by our favorite girl partying on Ice's live on 06/24/23)
‣ wc: 1476
‣‣ Synopsis: r and paige were roommates freshman year of college due to a mixup between the wbb team and wsoccer team and started their secret relationship as Paige recovered from her sophomore year injuries. (highkey might write more fics about this????) Up until now they've been able to keep their one-year ish relationship a secret, despite the rumors circulating the internet about the two of them.
‣‣‣ a/n: this is my first time writing a fic ESPECIALLY dialogue, not just on tumblr but like as a whole so any suggestions on my writing is highly welcome (you guys have no idea how hard x reader was to write because it was so confusing to write and kept breaking my brain bc i've NEVER done second pov) and also, the live’s timeline in this fic is not super accurate because it's lowk inspired by that one clip of paige and azzi maybe? kissing but i couldn’t find the whole video (i also just didn’t have the brainpower) so please bear w me 🙏🙏
You made your way over to Ice, leaning over shoulder with the sole intent of taking a sip of her drink. Before you could grasp the cup however, she slightly nudged you, drawing your attention to the live she had streaming from her phone.
“Oh my gosh I didn’t even notice yall, what’s up live,” You forgot about the drink as you rested your arm and chin on Ice’s shoulder, giving a small wave to greet the hundred people watching you from Ice’s screen. You were at Ted’s, the local bar, partying with the uconn women’s basketball team. Despite being part of the soccer team yourself, you were close friends with the entirety of the wbb team since your freshman year, growing even closer when you and Paige began dating last year.
You nodded your head and sang some of the lyrics to the music playing, silently reading the comments slowly rolling in and only addressing the more appropriate ones, despite being slightly tipsy you still had majority of your media training intact. You answered a few questions about random things while recharging your social battery with Ice, thanking those who gave compliments on your outfit or hair and stifling your laughs at the comments addressing Azzi drinking in the background or Paige yelling about shots.
Thinking of Paige, you realized you hadn’t seen your girlfriend in a few minutes as you perked your head up to look for her.
The entire team knew the two of you were practically attached at the hip in general, making it nearly impossible for anyone to separate your drunk clingy selves from each other. You parted ways with Ice, wrapping your arm around the shoulder of your slightly taller girlfriend as you also reached for a shot off the bar top in front of the two of you.
Paige turned her head to the side as her arm wrapped around the sliver of exposed skin on your waist. "Hey baby I missed you" her slight intoxication showing in her voice as she leaned in to kiss your jaw in greeting. Her face was flushed and you could feel the heat radiating off her body as you settled into her embrace, her hair tickling the back of your neck as you conversed with the girls around you.
You remained in her arms for the short time you danced, sang, and drank with Paige, KK, Azzi, and Kayla, the younger girls hanging out on the other side of the bar with Aubrey, either on their phones or talking to each other as they weren’t old enough for the bar to serve them. You excused yourself from the group as you ordered a dirty shirley from the bar and made your way back over to Ice, wanting to rest your feet for a few moments and have your favorite drink in peace.
"Hey guys your favorite is back!" You weren't a lightweight by any means, usually being able to hold your drinks well, but the night had clearly made you a little louder and outgoing as you rapidly began flipping through random conversation topics with Ice and the live. It had only been a minute or two before you had exited the live's view after discarding your leather jacket over the chair and setting your drink on the table in front of you to head further in the corner of the bar to text a few of your soccer friends back on your phone as you leaned against the wall.
Paige came up behind Ice as she wrapped her arms around Ice's neck while singing to the phone, knowing that if you had removed yourself from the camera's view it was to have a few moments of peace and privacy while on your phone. She sang the rest of the song with Ice before leaving her to walk over to your standing figure, leaning against the wall next to you and pulling your body in front of her as you closed your phone and looked up at her. She wrapped her arms around your waist once again, but this time without your jacket acting as a barrier between your two bodies.
"Mmm, you smell so good baby," Paige mumbled as she laid sweet kisses up your neck, drawing small circles up and down your bare waist to your skirt-covered hip. Her small touches only added to the warm fuzzy feeling in your head, having you melt into her touch.
"Thank you P," you giggle softly while tilting your head slightly upwards so you could see her properly, "You having fun out there?" you smile at the grin that spreads across her face.
"It's been a while since we've all been able to go out together, it's nice spending time with everyone outside of practice, especially with you," she says the last part while gently knocking her forehead into yours.
It was true, the two of you had been so busy with your respective sports, finals, and social lives that you hadn't been able to go out and truly enjoy a stress and carefree night, especially considering the fact that your relationship was a secret to everyone outside of your teams and close friend group.
"Yeah well, we'll be able to spend a lot more time together now, starting tonight," you whisper into her suggestively while trying to contain your wide smile. Paige pulled back to allow her eyes to roam over your face before slowly trailing down the rest of your body.
"That, we most definitely will," She whispered back as she gripped your hips to pull you in for a slow and languid kiss, your hands automatically moving to rest one on her neck and one into her hair, kissing her back slowly.
"OH SHIT, I mean shoot, um anyways," The two of you pull back from your kiss at Ice's exclamation, looking over at her and Aubrey, who was now standing in the middle of you three, to see what was wrong. She muted the live and turned the camera over from her face as she waved you both over frantically. "I accidentally turned the camera to Aubrey and you guys were in the background but I don't think the live saw your guys's faces like actually kissing, it was mostly just paige's back and a bit of you and I'm not sure if," her frantic ramble continued on before you stopped her.
"It's fine, it's fine, if they didn't actually see my face and us two actually kissing it'll be fine, just ignore it," You reassured her, immediately feeling more sober than just a few minutes prior. "Paige and I will just go back over to some of the other girls and you can come over to us with the live to say bye and we'll just pretend it didn't happen okay?" You concluded to her while grabbing Paige's hand and interlinking your fingers.
"That's fine with you right P?" You turned to her, making sure she was okay with potentially just being outed on a tiktok live. "Yeah it's not a big deal, don't stress too hard Ice," she reassured while squeezing your hand. You walked away from your two friends hand in hand to stand at a quiet spot at the bar, making sure to double check again with Paige, but now without Ice and Aubrey present in the conversation.
"Are you sure you're alright Paige? I know you wanted to keep this a secret for a while longer and it's okay if you're not comfortable with our relationship being out in the open like this and," Paige cut you off before you could continue.
"Hey hey, as long as I'm with you, everything is okay," she looked you in the eye as she consoled you, "We can talk about what we wanna do about the public knowing moving forward, but for right now, I'm content just being here with you."
You smiled at her, your anxiety relieved that the incident wasn't something that would negatively impact the stability and peace your relationship with Paige had. You leaned forward into her body, allowing her arms to encircle you in a comforting and tight hug as she kissed the top of your head gently.
It was safe to say the rest of your time spent at the bar with Paige was more relaxing than before, the two of you swapping your drinks for water and replacing your energetic dancing for simply standing and spending time with the other girls. You both even made sure to reserve a small amount of distance between the your bodies when Ice had all of you say goodbye to her live. The team had all decided to pack up for the night shortly after, and you and Paige walked hand in hand together to your dorm, enjoying the cool breeze of the night.
thank you for reading all the way through and sorry if this was kinda booty i couldn't force myself to read all the way through and edit once i finished but i'm excited to keep writing and hopefully get better with each fic! also lmk if you guys wanna see more of this specific paige x reader prompt as mentioned at the top of the post!!!!

WHAT'S IN A NAME | PART 2
pairing : tara carpenter x fem!reader
summary : you can keep running, but you can't run from who you are. | read part 1 here!
word count : 4.1k
warnings : scream vi spoilers but anika lives here bc she deserves better, violence stab stab stab, mentions of blood, swearing, reader is momentarily athletic, and as usual, shitty non-proofread writing lmao
Tara drags you back to her apartment with Sam and the rest of her friends that evening.
As you expected, Sam was not on board with you staying with them since you were practically a stranger to everyone. But once she saw Tara beg with the cutest pout on her face, Sam knew there was nothing she could do. She did, however, stick to your side for the entirety of the trip home to ensure you don’t do anything funny which was pretty damn intimidating; after seeing what happened at the frat party, you knew better than to fuck with the older Carpenter. Tara, Mindy, and Chad all snickered at the obvious nervousness that was evident on your face despite your protests of not feeling nervous at all.
At the apartment, Chad and Mindy set the table for dinner while you and Tara prepare the food. The two of you steal quick glances at each other, smiling as you silently check each other out.
“So where’d you learn to cook?” Tara finishes chopping carrots then drops them in the pot and you start stirring, adding a variety of seasoning at the same time to enhance its flavour.
“Self-taught. Ever since I came to the city, I had to learn how to live on my own which meant learning how to cook.”
“Where’d you move from? Do you keep in touch with your parents?”
You halt your movements at the mention of your parents and Tara takes immediate notice of this.
“Sorry, I must have hit a nerve. You don’t need to answer, I get-”
“No, you’re good,” you place the ladle down to the side and face the younger Carpenter to give her your full attention.
“Most of my life I stayed in Cali. I decided to leave for college because I wanted to see what else the world had to offer.”
“And you thought New York was the best place to go?” Tara raises her eyebrow.
You chuckled at Tara’s remark, “well it did lead me to you so yeah, I think it was,” you didn’t mean to come off as flirtatious but it’s the truth. Running away and coming to New York allowed you to meet Tara, who is now all smiles and tries to fight the pink tint that was making its way onto her cheeks, causing you to smile too.
“And your parents?” Her smile fades slightly, knowing she may be treading in dangerous waters. You take a deep breath in before answering her.
“My parents are good people. I have nothing against them.”
“Then why do you get tense when I bring it up?”
“It’s just that we haven’t talked since I came here. I’m sure they didn’t want me to move out but I pushed for it anyway, so I’ve been hesitant to reach out; only because I don’t know if they’d want to talk to me after leaving them,” Tara takes notice in the way your breath hitches slightly, trying to hold back the tears from falling. You really missed your parents; you didn’t want to run away but you couldn’t handle the life you had at home.
Tara walks towards you and grabs your hand that was gripping the counter. You relax at her touch, and she leans her head into your chest.
“I’m sure they miss you as much as you miss them, Y/N. They’re your family and family is always going to be there when you need them to be, whether you like it or not,” Tara then takes a quick look at Sam who was placing extra pillows and blankets down for everyone and a small smile makes its way onto her face. “But just know that you don’t need to contact them right away. Do it when you feel ready.”
“I honestly don’t see that happening anytime soon, but I’m definitely thinking on it.”
She takes her head off your chest and looks at you, eyes darting between the both of yours and you find yourself getting lost in her dark brown orbs once again. But to your surprise, the shorter girl takes a step back, her gaze moving from your eyes to the ground and the hem of her shirt suddenly becomes more interesting.
“I think you should get out of the city, though. Like, the three of you I mean, I wouldn’t blame any of you if you wanted to go. We put you guys in a lot of danger and-”
“That’s very thoughtful of you Tara, but I don’t think I’m going anywhere,” she glances up from her shirt to meet your eyes again but the sudden sound of fake gagging catches the both of you off guard.
“Will you two just make out already?” Mindy complains while setting the cutlery on the table.
“Mindy that is so inappropriate, come on dude!” your face heats up at the embarrassment while Tara and Chad just laugh at the current scene in front of them. But the atmosphere immediately changes when Anika points out the news being reported - Sam was being accused for the killings that took place last year in Woodsboro and they claim she placed the blame on Richie and Amber. When Sam mutes the TV and marches to the dining table, you plant yourself beside Anika while Tara, Mindy, and Chad try to comfort the eldest, deciding that it wasn’t your business to meddle in right now.
“So you and Tara, huh?” Anika asks out of the blue, nudging your arm with her elbow.
“Nah, I think it’s way too early to be saying there’s anything between us.”
“But you like her, don’t you? I mean come on, you look at her the way Mindy and I look at each other.” You simply smile and shake your head. You knew what the truth was anyway and judging by the smile on your face, Anika probably knew the truth now too.
Then multiple phones start going off at once, including yours. Hesitant, you pull out the device from your sweater pocket, and once it’s unlocked, you’re greeted with a picture of Quinn being attacked by Ghostface in her room. First you whip your head towards her door, then turn to the four still sitting at the table before all of you get up and crowd in front of Quinn’s room, grabbing Tara by the arm and pulling her close to you to stop her from doing anything irrational.
The screaming and the banging suddenly stop. The silence is eerie. The six of you stand outside Quinn’s room waiting for any sound or sign of life.
You wait.
And wait.
And wait. Until Mindy finally breaks the silence.
“Run!”
The door opens and Ghostface shoves a butchered Quinn towards all of you. The corpse falls on top of Anika and she lets out a blood curdling scream, leaving you frozen in your spot. Chad grabs Tara and they sprint towards the exit, the younger Carpenter yelling for you to follow but the rest of you couldn’t. Ghostface was right in front of you, and if any of you tried running, he could tackle you immediately.
You’re still frozen. You want to move but your feet are stuck to the ground, and you feel helpless. But you finally gain control of your body when he comes forward and slashes Mindy in the arm. As Sam frantically looks for a knife and you apply pressure to Mindy’s arm, Anika tries to hold onto his legs to stop him from hurting Mindy any more, but it backfires when he wraps his hand around Anika’s neck. She visibly turns red and struggles to get him off of her, but it was no use; he's much stronger than she is. Ghostface effortlessly picks Anika up, hand still tight around her neck, and slams her right against the brick wall where he plunges and twists the knife right into her abdomen causing another scream to escape from her throat. He mercilessly sinks the knife even deeper into the girl, making her scream even louder than she already was.
You glance towards the kitchen to find Sam still trying to find any kind of weapon. Realizing she was taking too long, you release Mindy’s arm and rush towards Ghostface, grasping his shoulder and turning him to face you before swinging a right hook right to his face. With no other option, Sam grabs the knife block and knocks Ghostface in the head making him fall to the ground. You help Anika up while Sam assists Mindy, and the four of you run into Quinn’s bedroom. Meanwhile, Tara realizes none of you were behind her and yells at Chad to go back upstairs, but to her demise, the door was locked and she left her keys inside. She begins to panic, worried about what could happen to her sister, her friends, but most importantly, you. Chad wraps his arm around the girl and starts leading her down the stairs.
You plop Anika down beside Mindy and watch as Sam holds the door closed. The banging stops after a while, but Sam notices the bathroom door was open.
“Y/N, the bathroom door, hurry!” Sam whispers, and you rush to go close it.
“Oh fuck! That guy’s dead,” you cry out loud, frightened by the sight of a carved up man in a literal blood bath. Distracted, you nearly miss Ghostface at the door and you frantically try to shove him out of the bathroom, slamming the door onto him multiple times. He manages to plant his knife into your left shoulder, luckily missing your carotid artery due to the awkward angle. You scream out in pain but still push with all your might to get him out the door. Sam comes to your side to help you push, and when he’s finally outside, you lock the door and help Sam push the dresser to block it. Ghostface doesn’t stop banging and kicking the door so you lean against the dresser to add extra weight. In the corner of her eye, Sam catches sight of Danny in the neighbouring building and he brings out a ladder for the four of you to climb across. With no other choice, Sam reluctantly agrees with his plan.
“You guys go first, Y/N!”
“What? No! Somebody needs to hold the door, let Anika and Mindy go first, then I’ll be right behind you Sam. Go!”
Just as you instructed, you watch as the three of them slowly but safely make their way across the ladder. Once they were all in the safety of Danny’s apartment, they all cry out for you and you look at the door one last time before rushing to the window.
“Come on, Y/N! Slow and steady, you can do this!”
You were never really afraid of heights, but the thought of having to cross a very unstable ladder that was high up in the air just to escape a killer heightened your anxiety by tenfolds. You breathe in deeply before taking your first step, carefully shifting your body weight as needed to avoid making the ladder more than it needed to. The encouraging words that were once spilling from the audience standing at Danny’s window start to become less frequent and eventually stop all together, causing you to stop in your tracks. You look up at them for the first time and find all of them looking like deer caught in headlights.
“What?”
“Y/N, you have to move right now!” Mindy yells almost in desperation.
You turn your head and you find the familiar black and white mask managed to make it into Quinn’s bedroom. You’ve only made it just halfway across and with Ghostface now trying to throw you off the ladder, you tried to pick up your pace.
“Come on Y/N, you gotta move!” Sam yells as Mindy and Anika watch nervously, trying their best to help Danny weigh the ladder down and keep it stable. Despite their efforts, it becomes harder to keep yourself steady. Ghostface repeatedly tosses the ladder up and down and he eventually gets it to turn over on its side so it’s no longer parallel to the ground. Everyone who was watching scream and cry in horror, fearing you'd fall right off but you maintain a solid grip. You looked down and watched how your legs dangled in the air. Your hands were getting sweatier with each moment that passed by and Ghostface clearly wasn’t going to stop until he saw your body smothered on the ground beneath you.
“Y/N you can do this, we got you! Don’t look down!”
Their voices made you look up and you can see the desperation they had to keep you alive. Gathering all the energy you had left, you swing your body to give yourself momentum and cross the remainder of the ladder Tarzan style. You’re finally able to reach for Sam’s hand but you lose your grip on it when Ghostface gives the ladder one last toss, leaving you to hang on the ladder with one hand. The blood and sweat that was on your hand was making you slip more and more until you could no longer hold yourself up. As your hand releases the ladder, Sam, Mindy, and Anika scream at the sight of your body falling in the air. You curl yourself up in attempts to protect your head and break the fall using your left shoulder by making direct contact with the dumpster that was beneath you before rolling off of it and onto the ground. Your entire left shoulder, along with some of your ribs and God knows what other bones in your body, were definitely shattered from the impact and you also felt extremely light headed, but the important thing is you weren’t dead. You deliver that message to Ghostface when you catch him looking out the window, flipping him off with a smirk on your face as the three girls sob and breathe a sigh of relief.
You wake up on a stretcher just outside an ambulance to find Tara, Mindy, and Anika sitting in the back of the vehicle itself with its doors opened. You carefully try to move but pain shoots through your entire body like lightning. The younger Carpenter shoots her head in your direction when she sees you move and she’s quick to grab ahold of your hand.
“Y/N, you’re awake!”
“Hey there daredevil, how you holding up?” Mindy asks.
“I can’t lie, I'm pretty fucking high right now,” you smile and the three of them giggle.
“What you did back there was seriously insane. Like you wouldn’t believe her upper body strength, Tara! She deadass looked like Tarzan or something,” Anika explains excitedly, but it quickly dies down when Mindy starts to talk again.
“Okay but even though it was sort of impressive to watch, you’re still on my suspect list. That could’ve just been a little act to throw us off our tracks. We still don’t know a whole ton about you, other than the fact that you’re part monkey.”
“Hey, I’m no monkey, I'm a human being!” the amount of drugs in your system cause you to slightly slur your words. Mindy smirks and decides to use your woozy state against you all while Anika shoots her girlfriend a knowing smile.
“Hey Y/N, what do you think of Tara?”
“Mindy!” the girl in question protests.
“Tara? Oh golly, she’s an absolute gem!”
“Yeah? Think she’s pretty?”
“Pretty damn gorgeous if ya ask me!” Tara starts to blush at your honesty.
“Okay Mindy that’s enough, let Y/N re-”
“Chad..” Ethan emerges from the crowd and cautiously makes his way towards all of you, worried about the state of his friends at the moment. Chad, however, was unhappy to see his roommate and he slams Ethan against a car to question his whereabouts the previous night. Even after letting him go, Mindy doesn’t allow Ethan to step foot near you.
“Step the fuck back. You’re at the top of my list.”
“I had econ!”
“Ohhhh, econ!! What's econ?” you ask, clearly still in a drugged state.
-
You spend the day in the hospital trying to recover, immense pain still spreading through your body. But when Tara tells you about Gale getting attacked and their plan to try and catch Ghostface, you beg her to let you help out.
“Are you sure you want to be discharged now? You still have a long way to go before you’re anywhere near being fully healed,” the charge nurse asks as she hands you a few papers to sign.
“I wouldn’t do this if it weren’t important. There are lives on the line and I need to help out. Thanks for everything though.”
“Just be sure to take your meds and show up to those follow up appointments, young lady.”
You smile at the lady before making your way down to the hospital lobby where you meet Tara and everyone else.
“You look like absolute shit,” Chad teases.
“Yeah, well you try falling off a ladder then pretty boy” you retort, and he playfully lifts his arms up in surrender.
“Alright captain, where we headed?” you turn to Tara.
“I’ll explain everything along the way.”
“Wait, where’s Anika?”
“I told her it was best if she stayed out of it. She’s safe with her parents,” you nod your head in approval seeing as you definitely didn’t want to see more people getting hurt.
The seven of you travel through the streets of New York City until you’re met with the busy atmosphere of the subway stations. To what you were able to get from Tara’s explanation, there was a massive theatre that held Ghostface memorabilia from over the years, and you were going to try and lure him there so you could all attack him. Although some were protesting against the plan, you thought it was better than just standing around and waiting for his next attack.
The subways were particularly packed with commuters trying to make their way to the different Halloween parties being hosted all over the city. Almost everyone around you was wearing a costume so technically, you were the ones who stood out in the crowd. It was easy to get lost with the amount of people around, so you held onto Tara’s hand as tight as you could but you didn’t miss the glare burning into the back of your head from her sister.
Despite your efforts to stay with them, the number of people made it extremely difficult to keep up. Mindy trails behind you and calls out for Chad to wait up while you call out for Tara, but Danny and other civilians push their way onto the train to force you, Mindy, and Ethan to stay back on the platform and wait for the next one. You watch the train pass by before taking a look at Mindy who lets out a sigh of frustration. The two of you are startled by a hand that touches your shoulder which just turned out to be Ethan.
“Get your Ghostface ass away from us, Ghostface.”
“Wait, so you trust her but not me?”
“I saw Y/N fall off a ladder last night so I know where she was. I can't say the same for you, though.”
“I keep telling you guys I had econ!”
“Just keep your distance, Ghostface,” Mindy pulls you away from Ethan and you two walk further down the platform as you wait for the next train.
“Hey, did you notice his eye?” you ask Mindy while she tried to make him look away from the two of you.
“No, why? Did you see something?” she turns to you.
“It looked like it was starting to bruise. And if I’m not mistaken, I’m pretty sure I landed a right hook onto Ghostface last night. You think it’s a coincidence?”
“That’d be one hell of a coincidence. He definitely has to be Ghostface, I’m calling it right now. But you’re still not completely off the hook, got it buddy?” you give Mindy a tight lip smile and nod almost immediately, causing her to giggle at your nervous reaction.
-
The train ride was anything but pleasant. With the success of the Stab films, there were a number of Ghostface costumes on the train, causing you and Mindy to be on edge the entire time. Unfortunately, you and Mindy couldn’t stick close together due to the number of people separating you two, but you made sure to keep a close eye on her and to your surroundings.
But thanks to the flickering lights, it was hard to pay attention to your environment when you couldn’t see anything. You frantically turn your head in every direction to ensure you had every space covered and checking on Mindy if she was okay. When you turn your head to the left, you find a Ghostface mask who happened to be staring right at you. You want to think it’s just another random in a costume but the way he keeps his gaze fixed on you gives you the feeling it’s not just a random person.
Anxious, you try and make your way closer to Mindy so you could stay together but as soon as you started to move, he did too. There were a bunch of people in your way, leaving you no choice but to push through them and not even bothering to say sorry. At one point, the lights shut off and it takes a while for them to come back on. You continue your trek to Mindy but it’s no use because people were being bitches stubborn and wouldn’t move out of the way. You look back to see if Ghostface caught up to you, but you can’t make out anything in the dark. The lights finally come back on and Ghostface is nowhere to be seen, confirming your suspicions that it was most likely a stranger.
But when you turn back around to push your way through to Mindy, Ghostface is right in front of you. You attempt to scream but his hand is faster and immediately covers your mouth before pushing his knife right into your stomach. A muffled scream can’t be heard with how loud the train was and the people around you were, so you were left there to struggle and Mindy didn’t even know. He shoves the knife deeper into you and the two of you slowly fall to the ground, yet no one around you seemed to notice what was going on. Ghostface finally pulls the knife out and starts walking towards Mindy but you can’t get up to stop him. The announcer on the train comes on to indicate that the train will be arriving at the platform soon which catches him off guard, and you think he won’t have enough time to attack Mindy, but you were wrong. Ghostface quickly stabs Mindy approximately in the same area as he did with you before he makes a swift exit off the train. The two of you are clutching your stomachs, putting pressure to try and minimize some of the bleeding. Ethan notices both of you and immediately calls for help while he tries to drag both of you out of the train at the same time. He drops you by a nearby post where security guards gather and call for medical services.
“Are you guys okay?!”
“Yeah, we’re so good” Mindy’s sarcasm doesn’t fail to make an appearance despite being in pain.
“Goddammit. I got it wrong again! What the fuck?” she grunts in pain. You, on the other hand, start struggling to keep yourself awake. Your eyelids feel heavy and it’s becoming harder to breathe, the rest of your body feeling limp until your head crashes onto Mindy’s shoulder.
“Y/N, stay with me, come on!”
“I’m just gonna take a nap Min, don’t worry, I’ll be up in no time.” Mindy can feel her heart break hearing the nickname come from you for the first time. Her voice is the last thing you hear before finally letting your eyelids close themselves.
“Fuck this franchise.”

Ooooo can I get jealous reader and kaeya at the tavern then some girl keeps trying to hit on him but he keeps warning her off and she will not go away so then the reader snaps on the girl?<3
SOMEwhere on my master list is. more jealousy stuff bc i love jealousy uwu
You know Kaeya garners attention wherever he goes. Most of the time it's unintentional, Kaeya just someone who seems to fit perfectly into the spotlight if he wants to but you've never had any issues with it. You know he adores you and that there's nothing he could ever do to betray your trust.
With that being said, you also gave his admirers a wide berth. When the two of you became official a lot of them continued to pine for Kaeya in the privacy of their own homes, but sometimes they would get especially bold.
This includes right now. You and Kaeya were trying to have a nice evening out with each other when this woman approached him. You thought she was a friend of his by the affectionate way she called his name, minding your own business until you hear Kaeya's voice beginning to turn a little agitated.
Sure enough, Kaeya wasn't looking incredibly happy. His brows were knotted together as he tried to pry the woman off his arm. You quickly caught on to what was happening and decide to bide your time. Kaeya could take care of himself no problem, so you didn't want to make him feel uncomfortable by coming to his rescue too early.
You were beginning to seethe a little, missing Kaeya's attention on you. You couldn't help being a little extra needy for him, especially in this sort of context. Kaeya's yours, and you weren't going to let someone try to steal him away that easily.
"Just a minute of your time Captain and I'm sure I can make it worth your while!"
The woman intent on stealing your beloved's attention seems sweet at least you think to yourself as you sip on your drink in boredom, unsure what Kaeya is going to try and do.
"I'm already quite preoccupied with spending time with the love of my life. Perhaps if you have any queries for the Knights you can come to the ones on duty, rather than pursuing someone who's quite clearly off the clock." He gestures to himself, wearing his civilian clothes as he was indeed not working right now.
"Yes, but I just feel like you would understand me better. Perhaps we can discuss the nature of my concern right now?" She bats her eyes at him, trying to butter him up to no avail.
"Perhaps I could discuss the outcome of this night with the person I hope to end in bed with," Kaeya bites back, trying a more crass way to get her to back off but nothing seems to work.
You continue to listen to the back and forth between them, the hand you offered Kaeya some time ago to ground him almost having it's circulation cut off thanks to him. You decide this has gone on for far too long and clear your throat, stealing both of their attention.
"How many more times do you want him to reject you? Do you get off on it or something?" you snap, voice biting a little harder than Kaeya thought it could ever sound.
She tries to respond, opening her mouth before you cut her off.
"You've just spent the last however many minutes begging for attention from my boyfriend when it's been more than clear that he's got no interest in you."
"I'm just letting him know he still has options!"
"And I'm letting you know that you're embarrassing yourself. Just go home and I'm sure you'll make both our evenings better. You can't seriously think this looks anything other than humiliating. Begging for attention from someone who clearly doesn't want to give it to you. He's mine, and I don't appreciate you thinking any different."
She tries to say something else to you but Kaeya rolls his eyes. He leans over and gives you a zealous kiss, even playing up the moan he does which only seems to disgust her before she walks away, making the two of you laugh.
"Thank you. You truly are my Knight in shining armor," he teases, kissing your cheek sweetly.
"Oh, I'm not done. I'll make sure the whole of Mond knows who you belong to by tomorrow morning."
Kaeya's face flushes a little but you know he's ready for the challenge, smiling at you as he tries to speed your date along to get to more exciting activities.

My Future
Derek Hale x OC
Samantha, Stiles and Scott are always joking about the impossible. Who wouldn't when your best friend's dad is the sheriff of Beacon Hills? All jokes stop when they realize the impossible is indeed possible.
Chapter 68: Bleeding Brother
A/N: gonna be a spam of chapters bc I think it's about time. Feedback always welcome!
As the four headed back to Scott's house, they were debating on whether or not to call Stiles and tell him about what had happened with the possibility of killing a Hellhound.
It made no sense to either of them as to what was going on, and Stiles was the brains of the pack.
But…
Scott sits down on the edge of his bed, glaring at his phone screen as he looks at the voicemail Stiles had sent him moments ago.
Malia and Lydia sit down beside him as Sam paces, still refusing to ruin Stiles' time where he was.
Scott was in a limbo. He knows his best friend wanted the best for Stiles, but they also needed him too. Scott’s voice is hesitant as he calls out to Sam. “Sam–”
She fixed him with a widened eyed look and pointed at him with a snap. “You call him and I'm snatching your damn fingers. The boy deserves a break. It's enough that he's already had the responsibility of being the sheriff's son, but being here hasn't been too kind for him in the past couple of years. He finally has a chance to just do him.", she rambled.
She'd finally stopped pacing, her shoulders sagged. She frowned sadly, as she remembers all the times he was in danger. “We almost lost him. Again and again and again. I'm not risking it anymore.”
Scott frowns, but nods in agreement. However… “If this turns out to be something big, and we don’t call him…”
Sam sits by the bed, letting out a sigh. "I know. He won't like it. But it'd be worth it if he won't get hurt."
Malia looks between the three and shrugs as she speaks. “Maybe we should go back to the woods tonight and find the killer?”
Lydia sighs and turns her attention to Scott. “Scott…”
He frowns and looks at his phone. “You guys didn’t hear his voice. He sounded really excited to be there.”
“And he should be. We shouldn't ruin that. Just play the damn voicemail.”, Sam said.
Scott presses the voicemail on his phone and plays it on speaker. “Hey, Scott. So, I’m here. I’m in Quantico, Virginia at the FBI. I’m at the fucking FBI! It’s real. I’m really here–”
The four smile at the sound of his voice. “And I kinda told Lydia that I miss her and I can’t wait to get home, but listen, Scott…"
They all sigh.
Scott frowns. "Whatever you’re doing right now, either of you, just make sure you’re still getting out of Beacon Hills. I mean, maybe you think you can’t leave, you know, like the whole thing falls apart if you’re not there, which, I get… but you have to. I know you’re supposed to drive out tonight, so, if you don’t call me back, just promise me you’re actually going. Just get in the Jeep and go. If you have to drag Sammy out of there, you do it. I know she won't leave. Not if she's still waiting for that stupid sourwolf.", Stiles says, making Sam roll her eyes.
"Alright, later man, I’ll talk to you soon.”
Scott turns off his phone. “We’ll try to figure this out, find Argent, maybe this won't all be something big and we can just tell him when it’s over.”, he said with hope.
Sam frowned. “Let's… give it a couple of days. Maybe a week and if it all goes to shit, we’ll call him.”
Scott stands up with a sigh. “Then, let's head back to the woods.”, he said and the girls nod.
After arriving at the preserve, they look around.
"So what else could we look for?", Malia asks Scott, but he doesn't answer.
The girls frown at him. "Scott.", Lydia called. Suddenly, Scott runs off as if he was chasing something. The girls look at each other before running after him.
Malia pants, "We can still catch him." They catch up to him and Scott turns to them, confused. “Catch who?”
Sam looks at him with furrowed eyebrows as she catches her breath. Malia frowns and shares a look with Lydia. “The killer. What were you thinking about?”, Lydia asks.
Scott holds up the bullet casing in between his fingers. “Getting the bullet to Argent.”
“Even if he’s the one who fired it?”, Malia asks and he nods. “Especially if he’s the one.”
Scott turns away and freezes as if he is on high alert. “Do you hear that?”, he asks, looking at Malia and Sam.
They nod. “Heartbeats.” Sam feels for any presences and frowns at the familiarity of them. Before she could speak up, panic struck on Scott’s face. “A lot of them. They’re coming.”
Lydia and Malia frown at him. “Who?”
Scott turns back to where he heard the heartbeats.“Hunters – run!”
Scott takes off running, leaving the girls in confusion before taking off after him. “Scott, wait! Scott!”, Malia yelled.
He ignored their calls and seemed to run faster. As they try their best to catch up, they're met with deputies with their guns drawn and flashlights beaming at a pair of bodies on the ground.
The girls' eyes widened as they took in the sight of Scott and Noah.
Noah lifts one of his hands towards the Deputies and warns, “It’s okay. Everybody, stay back. it’s just a kid.”
As they got closer, they could hear one of the female deputies ask, “What’s wrong with his eyes?”
“Shit.”, Sam mutters and moves up to the two. Parrish's order rings clear, “You heard the Sheriff, stand down!”
Sam kneels next to Scott, giving an apologetic look to the sheriff before taking Scott's hands who looks at her with embarrassed expression. He was still struggling to get his breathing and pounding heart in check. “Deep breaths, Scotty. You remember?", Sam asked.
Scott swallowed and nodded, following their traditional technique. Once he calmed down, she looked at him and gave him a nod. "What happened back there?”, Noah asked.
They help Scott stand up and Sam looks at the sheriff. "There's…something we need to show you."
They head back through the preserve towards the area where they found the dead body of the hellhound.
They show the body to Noah, Parrish and a few other deputies who search around the crime scene, looking for any more clues.
Scott turns to Noah, embarrassed. “I’m really sorry.”
Noah dismissed it with a smile and a shake of his head. He didn't blame the boy for a freakout. So long as he wasn't committing mass murder, that is.
Sam frowns as she looks at Parrish. “How much you think they saw?", she asked, nodding over to the deputies. Parrish shrugs. “No more than they’re used to.”
Noah crosses his arms. “I still wanna know what happened.”
“He’s a Hellhound.”, Parrish explains, pointing at the body. Malia clarifies. “A dead Hellhound.”
Lydia frowns at her as the sheriff shakes his head. “Yep, got that.”
Parrish frowns. “Well, I don’t get it. I didn’t think you could kill a Hellhound.”
Malia flicks her eyebrows up, unimpressed. “Looks a lot easier than we thought.”
A pause waves over them and the sheriff and deputy looked at them almost suspiciously.
Noah speaks up. "You got anything you wanna add?”
Scott fidgets but doesn't say anything. Sam rubs behind her neck. “We just didn't think any bullet was able to do that.”
Noah nods and Parrish frowns as he looks at the hellhound’s body once more. “I'd hope not.”
As they drove back to Scott's house, they all sighed. Lydia looks at Sam, frowning. “Why didn’t you say anything?”
Sam frowns and looks at Scott. “Why didn’t you say anything?”
Malia looks at all of them. “Why didn’t any of you say anything? Wait, was I supposed to say something?”
Scott frowned. “No. None of us said anything because it’s Argent, and he deserves a chance to tell us himself what’s going on.”
Sam looks at them. "So none of us are gonna say anything until we talk to him. For now, we'll just have to figure this shit out ourselves.”
Lydia and Malia look unsure but Lydia sighs. “As long as we talk to Argent soon.”
Sam frowns, tiredly. "Now would be preferable."
Scott rubs his hands over his thighs, raising his brows and nods. “Finding Argent is the first priority.”
Moments later, Lydia brings Sam over to the Sheriff's station after having to explain she had a premonition of Parrish. Their first plan was having to ask Parrish for access to the card readers because of the sound Lydia heard.
He agrees and helps them down to the holding cell area. Once they were there, Sam sighed as Lydia stared at the bars of the cell. “Is that it? The sound you heard?”, Parrish asked after sliding a key card.
She shook her head. “No, it’s something else.”
They left the holding cells and made their way through the station and into the bullpen where the other deputies were working.
Parrish sits on his desk, having Lydia and Sam stop in front of him. He frowns as he thinks out loud. “It could be any kind of public facility. Hospital, a fire station, or…”
Sam frowns deeply. “Or a mental institution.”
Parrish's head snaps up as he frowns at Sam. “No.”
“Eichen House.”, Sam muttered. Parrish sighs, shaking his head.
Lydia gives him a grimace. “The card readers on the doors?” He nods. “It’s the Closed Unit.”
Parrish stands once more, giving the girls a firm look. “You’re not going back to Eichen, and you’re definitely not going anywhere near the Closed Unit.”
Lydia almost pouts but leans a little closer to him. “What if there’s a connection to the…” She lowers her voice. “Dead Hellhound?”
He immediately shakes his head anyway. “Absolutely not. What if you go there again and someone tries to kill you? Which seems to happen every time either of you go in there!”
Sam frowns. “It’s what we got right now.”
He frowns at her. “If I bring you anywhere near that place either the sheriff will kill me, Stiles will kill me or Derek.”
She raises an eyebrow. She expected the first two, but Derek?
Parrish catches onto her confusion. "He made it very clear, before he left, not to let you get into any more trouble while he was gone or anywhere near the Eichen House again. Said something about you being drugged or something…", he trailed off.
"Look, if you're so worried, then you can come with us.”, Lydia suggested. Parrish smiles and shakes his head while reaching over to his desk chair and grabs his jacket. “Or… I can go alone and the two of you can stay here in the nice, safe Sheriff’s station.”
Before he leaves, Sam walks up to him. "Hold on, Jordan.", she says and makes a motion for him to lower his head.
Confused, he does just that, only flinching once he feels a strand of hair being plucked from his head. His head snaps back up, frowning at the girl as he rubs the sore spot. "What was that for?"
She grins, "Gray hair."
He narrows eyes, slightly offended and leaves the girl at the station. Lydia looks at her. "It's not a gray hair.", she says and Sam gives her a unimpressed look with an eyebrow raised.
Looking around, Sam makes sure none of the other deputies were watching and makes a resin in the floor before putting Parrish's hair strand in the middle.
Once she placed a hand over the circle, the crescent moon appeared on her forehead, indicating that the linking spell worked.
Moments of waiting and they were getting nowhere. Hadn't heard from Parrish or anything.
However, Lydia's attention was gathered by a calendar reminder on her phone.
Last day to register for MIT– today, 6:00PM.
Sam frowns sadly as she looks at her friend who frowns as well. "You should've registered.", Sam mutters. Lydia looked at her.
Sam glanced at her. "Register for online classes, at least.", she said with a smile. She didn't want her friends to miss chances of their lives outside of Beacon Hills and its troubles.
Lydia smiles. "I'll do that." Before she could get another word out, she sat up straight, looking at a deputy placing her walkie talkie on a charger.
The girls share a look and Lydia gets up, sneaking over to the walkie talkie. Sam watches as the girl messes with the device, listening for whatever she was listening for.
Lydia raises the volume, and the sound of static enters the room from the device. The girls looked around to see if anyone was paying attention and no one was so Sam nodded at Lydia to continue.
In seconds, Sam's wrist felt like it was freezing as the small crescent moon appeared on her forehead once more. The girls looked at each other with wide eyes.
“Time to go.”, Sam mutters, leading Lydia out of the station.
Once they arrived to the Eichen House, Sam paused as she tried to sense where Parrish could've been.
After a minute, it was faint, but she sensed him in a cell.
The moment they walk in there, she'd be powerless. The only thing she could think about was how they rushed in there to search for Stiles, only for him not to be there. To look for Lydia as she was getting tortured, only for Sam, Scott and Kira left Stiles and Lydia to look for Valack while the dread doctors tormented them with their presence.
Each time she remembered, she felt helpless. How the hell were they gonna get Parrish out?
Lydia notices the girl's hesitation and holds her hand. Sam's eyes locked onto Lydia who gave her a soft smile. "I got you."
Once the gate slammed behind them, Sam accepted her fate. There was no turning back as they entered the building.
As they walked the hallways for the closed unit, Sam made sure to keep Lydia close. Lydia was more bound to this place than she was and it'd hurt her if Stiles knew that she let Lydia get in trouble with the place.
However, the dark hallways were keeping her on edge. It wasn't easy to keep a brave face as they looked around.
“Why aren’t the lights on…?”, Lydia whispered as they looked at all the unlocked doors. If only it was that easy when they were trying to save her the first time.
"I'm not liking the looks of this, Lydia.", Sam muttered. They both jump at the sound of gates slamming behind them.
Lydia yells for Parrish but Sam glares at her. Her yelling was gonna give them away. Whoever was here obviously didn't want anyone down here.
She wished she could just sense someone's presence. Even if it was just theirs.
Something.
It was better than nothing.
They pause as they hear a female voice. “It’s here."
“We should be killing them.”, another voice says.
“Wait!”, they heard Parrish yell before jumping at the sound of a loud, echoing gunshot ringing through the hallways.
The girls glanced at each other before sneaking to where the sound came from.
Their eyes widen as they see a doctor pointing a gun at Parrish's forehead, muttering that he didn't have to be afraid anymore.
Before he could pull the trigger, Lydia raised her arms and let out her banshee screech at the man, and sent him flying toward the wall of the cell, and fell to the ground, knocked out.
Sam rushed over to Parrish, taking in his state. He was freezing, just like how her wrist felt earlier. "You regret not letting us come with you now?", she asked, taking off her hoodie and wrapped it around him before helping him up.
"I-I had h-him…", Parrish weakly scoffs, but gives the girls an appreciative smile as they help him out of the institution.
After leaving the sheriff's department, Lydia and Sam drove back to Scott's house, finding out they had found Chris at a gun deal that he was supplying the entire time.
Chris informed Scott that he wasn't avoiding the teens, but had been busy providing and investing in gun sales.
It didn't make any sense, though. They hadn't seen any hunters in so long. The Argent clan practically stopped going after supernaturals in Beacon Hills ever since the incident in Mexico.
"Well…I asked him about the casing and he said he hadn't stamped a bullet since… y'know.", Scott explains, making Sam frown sadly.
It was understandable but still made no sense as to how the bullet was still stamped by his family's graving.
After Scott's explanation, Lydia and Sam inform them about what had happened to Parrish and Dr. Fenris.
Scott and Malia's eyes widened. “He killed every supernatural in the Closed Unit? All of them?”
The girls nodded. Lydia shrugged her shoulders. “He said he couldn’t see it any other way.”
Sam frowned. “Apparently, he was so angry because he struggled to "protect the world" from the things in the closed unit and decided he shouldn’t cage the supernatural and then killed them so humanity wouldn't be afraid anymore.”
Malia scoffs. “Well, I’ve got another way. You don’t kill everyone.”
“He was afraid.”, Lydia frowns. It made a little sense. “The wolves, the rats. Everything links back to fear.”
Scott frowns in thought. “But what is everyone afraid of?” In a second, Scott takes the casing out of his pocket, frowning sadly. “…Us.”
He placed the bullet on the kitchen island and drums his fingers on the island. “We don’t know what fear would do to somebody. I mean, it can change them. They’ll look at us differently. They’ll do things that they’ve never done before.”
Malia frowns in frustration. “People can be so stupid.”
Lydia shakes her head. “They’re not stupid, they’re scared.”
Sam stares at the bullet. “And when people are scared, they'll do things way beyond their expectations."
The next day, Scott informed the three of Brett's assault, and was introduced to Brett’s sister, Lori, who was already waiting for them. The girl informed them that she had found a bloody lacrosse stick by Brett’s car.
Mason and Liam showed up with each other along with Lydia and Malia.
After they discuss their plans, Lydia speaks of hers. “I’ll stay here and try to see if I can get anything.”
Scott, Malia, and Sam nod.
Mason jabs a thumb over his shoulder toward the school. “Corey is in a study group so we can stay with Lydia, we can – you know, try to be helpful?”, Mason suggests, much to Lydia's surprise.
She shrugs. “Fine, meet me in the Chemistry classroom.”
They walk to the school while the other 5 move to where Lori saw her brother's blood. “His blood is over here.” Liam nods, jogging over to her “Let's go.”
They follow the blood trail into the preserve with Liam leading ahead. He stops at a tree with an arrow in it and lifts his hand up to the end of the arrow, turning and aiming his arm from where the arrow was shot. “Here.”
The older four watch, catching onto his line of sight. Suddenly, Sam hears a crunch under her foot and steps back to see a black phone that Lori picks up. She looks at Sam. “It’s his.”
The boys look at the phone. Liam frowns, “I think he set a trap.” Scott gains a look of agreement on his face. “He’s fighting back.”
"And now we know he’s alive.”, Sam says.
Lori turns towards the tree, looking around frantically. “But he’s still hurt. We need to find him. He needs to know we’re here,” she says, worriedly. In a beat, she takes a deep breath in and turns towards the preserve, making Malia's eyes widen as she stops her. “You want the hunter to know we’re here, too?”
Sam frowns as she senses another presence. "She's right. It's not a smart move. Could be a setup for the rest of us."
Liam shakes his head. “He’s new – we can take him.”
Malia turns to the boy. “What if Brett howls back? He’ll lead the hunter right to him.”
Scott shakes his head. “No, we could find him first. There’s no human that can track sounds faster than we can, and we’ve got the advantage. We’ve done this before. We know what we’re doing, guys.”
Malia's eyebrows furrowed as she looked around. “How come I can’t catch his scent?”
“He’s masking it.”, Lori explains. Malia grumbles “Can someone tell him not to?”
Liam walks past them, pointing to the ground a few feet away from them. “He went this way.”
He takes off down the trail. "Liam–!", Sam calls before chasing after him with Lori, Scott and Malia.
They stop after a moment, catching their breath. Malia places her hands on her hips “The trail’s gone.”
“Uh, maybe he just stopped bleeding?”, Scott suggests.
“Guys, I think we should split up. Lori and I go this way, you guys go that way.”, Liam says. Lori speaks up. “Or maybe we go in five directions?”
Sam frowns. “Yeah, no.”
“Sam, we have a better advantage. it’s five against one.”, Liam frowns. “This isn't a 5v1 game, Liam. If we split up, only one of us is taking him on.”, Sam says.
Liam frowns. “I’ve been doing this the past three months without your guys’ help. I think I can make a decision.”, he says, making Sam raise her eyebrows at his boldness.
“Well, if you’re deciding to do something stupid and die, then go ahead.”, Malia huffs, making Sam give her an unimpressed look. “It’s one hunter – one amateur – who doesn’t know what they’re doing.”
Scott kneels on the ground, moving some dirt around and revealing footprints in the mud underneath. “Scott?”, Sam calls.
Liam looks at footprints. “The hunter.. he’s covering his tracks.”
“There’s another.”, Scott informs as he moves more dirt that was moved over to cover the other set of prints.
Malia gets closer. “Two of them?”
“Probably more.”, Sam huffs. The feeling of being scouted even with her detection didn't settle her at all.
Lori looks at Scott. “How many hunters have you seen out here before?”
Scott looks at her. “…a lot.”
Sam frowns at Liam. “Still think it's a good idea to split up?”
Almost pouting, Liam looks at her. “We can deal with it later. We just need to find Brett’s trail.”
Lori shook her head and pointed at a stack of rocks. “No, we don’t. Rock balancing – Satomi taught us. It’s him, and I know where he’s going.”
Lori led them toward the balancing stack of rocks. There was a grate covered by a fallen bushy tree branch, and they climbed down into the tunnels.
After making their way in the tunnels, they found puddles of black liquid, easily resembling black blood. Lori kneels down and swipes her fingers through one of the puddles, letting out a sigh as she turns back to them. “He’s been poisoned.”
“That’s why he’s not healing.”, Scott said, dreadfully.
"I don't think we'll make it to Deaton's.", Sam mutters to Scott.
"What if he only has a few hours to live?”, Lori asks with wide eyes. Sam sighs and looks at her packmates.
Liam frowns, “Well, if we howl, we can find him.”
“That’s too risky.”, Malia counters. Lori frowns at her. “Who cares about the risk? He could be dying.”
Malia turns to Lori. “He’s still moving.”
Scott looks at Sam and she closes her eyes before taking a knee and placing her hand on the ground. If she could feel where Brett is, it'll probably give them an indication of how long he has.
Scott sighs as he watches her. “We just need time to think.” Sam looks at him with furrowed eyebrows. "I can't concentrate under pressure.", she warned.
Lori frowns at Scott. “I need him to know that I’m here, that I’m coming for him.”
Liam looks at Scott. “Yeah, Lori’s right. He has to know we’re here!” He turns back to the black trail and takes a deep breath in.
“Liam, wait!”, Malia yells, but Liam ignores her, roaring down the tunnel.
The silence they heard unsettled them. "Shit.", Sam muttered. They continued down the hall, worriedly.
“Why didn’t he answer…?”, Lori asks. Liam grimaced. “Maybe – maybe he didn’t hear us…”
Sam frowns at him. “Well, I got two solutions. Maybe he's too weak to give a howl or he's been caught. Y'know, by the hunters that's out here??"
Before Liam could retaliate, Scott yells. “Lori, no!” The rest saw Lori's legs walking into a tripwire.
Sam grabs Liam and Malia, after hearing a clicking noise, pulling them back from where she assumed the trap would've come from but her eyes widen once she hears Scott groan. She, Liam and Malia see him hit the wall and let out gasping breaths.
Scott lifts his hands to his stomach where a metal pipe impales him.
Malia and Liam rush over to grab at the end of the pipe, slowly trying to remove it from his body, finally getting it out. Scott lets out a loud groan as he slides down the wall.
Sam walks over to the pipe and sees spikes on the pipe, resembling a mace. "They planned this.", she mutters, looking at the three in front of her. Scott nods, gritting his teeth in pain. “They knew we were coming.”
Malia kneels beside him. “Don’t talk. Just heal and let us figure this out.”
“They’ve been a step ahead of us the whole time.”, Scott growls, holding his stomach in pain. Sam walks over to him, placing her glowing hands over his stomach. "Stop talking, you'll make it worse.", she scolds gently as her arms fill with pain.
Lori frowns sadly, glancing between Scott and down the tunnel. “I’m sorry, but I can’t wait around… we have to go.”
Sam glares at the girl.
Liam nods. “We still have the numbers. Four to two. We’re faster, and we’re stronger. We can take them."
"We'd be faster if she hadn't walked into a tripwire.", Sam growls. She winces, but Scott grabs her hand. "I'll be fine.", he says, trying to get her to stop.
He tries to sit up properly. “They’re smarter too.”
“I don’t care who’s smarter, or faster, or whatever. My brother’s going to die.”, Lori says. Sam turns to her once again. “You have no idea what the hell you're getting yourself into. This isn't just some coincidence. This was planned. Elaborate.”
Sam looks at Scott. "This sounds like something the Argents would do." Scott frowns in realization. He couldn't deny that. They've been through situations like this too long to not know.
Liam looks at Sam. “But they’ve never fought us before.”
“You never from them before.", Sam says. "You’ve never fought hunters, Liam. We need to stick together.”, Scott reminds. Lori shakes her head. “I need to go.”
Liam stops her. “No, you’re not going alone. I’ll go with you."
Sam stands, stopping him. “And how are you gonna do that? Again, you haven't fought any hunters. So what's your plan?”
Liam frowns sadly. “Look, Sam. I know who we are. And we never give up. Especially when it’s someone innocent. When it’s someone alone. When it’s one of our friends.”
Sam frowns at him. "Yeah, against anyone other than hunters. These hunters are way smarter. I just feel like we're running head first into their traps. Picking us off one by one and then what? How're we gonna save Brett?"
She sighs once he gives her an almost pouting look. "Fine. I'll go with you."
Scott nods. “All of you go. I’ll catch up.”
Scott tries to stand, groans and falls back onto the ground, letting out a huff. “I just need a minute.”
Malia looks at Sam. “You go, I’ll stay with him.”, she says.
Sam nods, "Just…stay safe. I'll know if something happens.", she says and leaves with Liam and Lori.

sry for this but whats happpened with danny, tennessee, and his ex?? im so lost 😭
RIGHT, SO:
? - 2023 NOV - Danny Aarons has a girlfriend. He mentioned her occasionally on stream, on the Fellas pod, on a Sidecast... A clip on TikTok showed a woman giving him a kiss on stream (presumably before going out or whatevs) which every1 assumed to be his girlfriend... And also showed a lot of hate over, j being overall quite rude to her physically and displaying that the average demographic of the Danny Aarons audience is insecure, adolescent boys with little to know common knowledge of basic decency.
1st - 16th Nov 2023 - Locked In SZN! Sooo locked in is where everything kinda went left... Danny entered into Locked In as a man in a relationship, and made this quite clear to everyone else within the house, telling the girlies (Shannon Langdon, Kaci-Jay, Tennessee Thresh, Ash Holme n Madam Joyce) that he was in a relationship. Despite acknowledging and telling these girls that he was in a relationship however, he still acted debatebly... flirty with some of the other girls, including Kaci Jay and Tennessee, which didn't go amiss by fans as shown my fan edits (1 & 2 for Kaci's example, and 1 Tennessee edit i found)... So in summary, Danny went onto locked in WITH a girlfriend, TOLD everyone that he had a girlfriend, and STILL flirted with other girlies. Naturally, this did make Danny's gf feel uncomfortable and there's screenshots of stories she posted which displays how she felt watching Locked In during November 2023 when she, as his girlfriend, watched him every night just flirt with other girls:
And they're so freaking valid tbh.
Post!Locked In - Gf breaks up with Danny So then yeah, naturally, Danny gets left, having just embarrassed his girlfriend and disrespected his relationship in front of MILLIONS watching Locked In. But for some reason, nobody really seems to empathise with Danny's ex that much, but rather, everyone casts their attention moreso to Tennessee, who gets even more flirty with Danny, now that he's broken up- literally saying she'll shag him.
Between Nov - Jan Hate towards Danny's ex has increased exponentially since Danny's moved on. Often times it's direct hate, simply name calling and physically shaming her, other times it's more... indirect. Like commenting things like Danny moving onto Tennessee is the "rebound of the century" - goofy ahh shi like that, yk.
Jan 2024 - Danny and Ten confirmed dating I made a post with the pics of them together bc tbh i was blown away when i first heard it too. I mean, i just thought Tennessee saying she wanted Danny was one big joke but clearly not!
Hope that's a comprehensive enough timeline of their relationship. Is a little bit biased but i think it get's the point across regardless, and is cited with a myriad of TikTok links. Pls do reply and lmk anything missed &/or any personal thoughts

Thoughts:
miley's psycho killer sucks, i feel like she took way too many liberties with the source material, which would be Fine if it was Good. but it isnt
i actually really liked the national's version of heaven, i enjoyed the addition of horns. i love horns
i actually recently listened to blondshell's debut album so was intrigued that she was on here, and i actually loved her interpretation of send me an angel. faithful enough to be recognizable but different enough to feel fresh!
found a job is VERY faithful which is of course fine but at that point id rather hear the original, solo is good though
im about 30 seconds into slippery people and its already my favorite so far. YESSSS its very different but its still so fun. and i love that its in spanish now
paramores burning down the house is good but it's also the only one id heard before today. its another one thats almost TOO faithful but thats ok
i feel like life during wartime is ok and interesting to hear it without the anxiety that characterizes the original, but i miss that frantic energy. once again love the horns i think you could add horns to almost anything and it would be good
THE FRANTIC ENERGY IS BACK for making flippy floppy. LOVE the vocals here especially where it leans a little more into regular singing than byrne does if that makes any sense?
jean dawson's swamp is a totally different thing but i actually really like it. string section
i always forget about what a day that was (fake fan i know) but i do enjoy this cover so maybe i need to give it more attention
this must be the place is fine. i will admit my standards for this one are probably really high bc its one of my favorites ever, but i'm not super impressed by this one
i cannot even imagine the pressure of covering one of the most iconic talking heads songs ever HOWEVER kevin abstract did a really good job! once again different enough to be refreshing but still feels in line with the tone of the original.
genius of love is good but they're fake as fuck for not including the "what do you consider fun? fun natural fun" part!
girl in red girlfriend is better. i like it way more than i worried i would i had NO idea what to expect.... bass is really good here im sorry girl in red for underestimating you
i knew lorde take me to the river would be good bc how could it possibly not be. to be honest. and it is really really good! bridge is GREAT but it all is no surprises there. and when the instruments drop out? and the ENDING???? lorde thank you for taking me to the river and dropping me in the water ...
crosseyed and painless good very faithful but im not mad. im so caffeinated rn i want to DANCE!!!
across the board i really liked seeing all the spotify background video things where people put on a Big Suit. you can definitely feel the love permeating through this thing
listening to the stop making sense tribute album because i am Brave

The Unsaid Vow (Prologue)
Synopsis- You always knew when you weren't wanted. And the way things are going in your marriage with Jungkook, a divorce is looking more and more likely. While he's getting closer to a woman at work that you're certain he's having an affair with, you're planning your escape with your four-year-old son. However, five years of marriage did not expose you to a certain side of your husband. A side of Jungkook that only gets triggered when you try to leave and break apart your perfect 'family'.
Warnings- Yandere behavior, graphic language, violence/murder, women bashing on other women, heavily implied infidelity, bad parenting, absent father, broken family vibes, very slow buildup bc Jungkook doesn't really snap until you leave him so just give him a min lol, inexperienced author writing for a four-year-old (I never wrote for a kid before pls gimme a break), also I chose my future son's name for this fic but pls feel free to name him whatever you want :)
Slow burn Yandere Husband Jungkook
Word Count; 5.4k
Unlike the vast majority of married couples, neither you nor Jungkook donned wedding rings.
Never in your five years of marriage did you regret this decision, given it was brought upon by you and your husband’s lack of funds for fancy wedding bands at the time of your rushed marriage.
Well, you were never annoyed....until tonight, that is.
The scene before you was exceptionally intimate, so much so that you felt the instinctual need to look away in respect of the two before you.
The woman was gorgeous, effortlessly attracting all the attention the small conference room had to offer. In addition to this natural charisma spurred on by her borderline enchanting looks, her short and skin-tight red dress showed off her pleasantly curvy body. Her long, silky, and jet-black hair was pulled back into an elegant ponytail that provided a simple background for her darling features. Utterly doll-like was her face; petite, creamy in complexion with bright doe eyes and berry-pink lips.
Such a beautiful woman was currently in the arms of an equally, if not more so, attractive man.
He was tall and slender, yet not at all lanky given his sturdy build that was a testament to his strict workout regime. His olive skin was complimented with occasional tattoos, a mix of faded and fresh ink that you knew like the back of your hand despite only the tats on his hand currently showing in his crisp Valentino suit. His mid-length inky black hair was down to frame his sharp face, and indeed it was a very handsome one consisting of full eyebrows, bow-like lips, a fleshy yet impish nose, and two large, yet seemingly bottomless, raven orbs.
This man had his arms encircling the middle of the mysterious woman, her expression lifting into a light-hearted giggle as she leaned forward to whisper something in his ear.
Whatever she said must’ve been amusing to the man, given his usual stoic facade briefly melted away as he allowed a small smile at her words, his pearly round teeth peeking out for a split-second appearance.
If you didn’t know any better, you would have thought that these two were lovers.
But there was only one problem with this scene.
That was your husband, Jungkook.
And that woman in his arms was not you.
As if sensing your distress and wanting to soothe your well-founded suspicion, Jungkook pulled away from the woman and ran his gaze across the room- only stopping when he spotted you. Your spouse then gestured at you, the girl following his line of sight and landing on you and your pitiful spot by the snack table. Her joyful expression briefly dropped for a blink-and-you'll-miss-it second, but she quickly plastered on another grin and nodded. The two then strode their way over to you, barely giving you enough time to steel your nerves and muster a polite purse of the lips.
Before you knew it, the woman was right in front of you with your partner at her side instead of yours. Much to your dismay, she was only more attractive up close, and you narrowly held back a grimace as she held out a hand in introduction. You took it and shook it lifelessly.
“Hello, you must be Mrs. Jeon. I’m Sana, Jungkook’s colleague.” Even her voice was pretty, musical and light to the ears.
“H-Hi, nice to meet you but please call me Y/n.” A brief and awkward pause as Sana briefly sized you up and down. “Um, Jungkook has never mentioned you….” you trailed off, side-eyeing your husband in hopes he would intervene and add context to this random goddess he’s thrust upon you.
Jungkook gracefully took his cue and explained, “Sana transferred from another branch out of the city and has only been with us for five months. I’m her case supervisor and have been taking care of her, showing her the ropes and whatnot.”
Sana didn’t even spare you a glance as she fondly looked up at your husband, coyly biting her lip and saying in a much softer tone that could've been just for his ears only, “And he’s been really good at taking care of me.”
You didn’t consider yourself a jealous stay-at-home wife who obsessed over the tiniest details between her husband and other women, but the double meaning behind her badly-whispered comment was enough to make you splutter in disbelief. However before you could even gather up the courage to ask just what the hell ‘taking care of me’ consisted of, two new faces waltzed up and joined the conversation.
“Are you all enjoying this fabulous Christmas party?” A tall, broad-shouldered but nice-looking man asked in a tone of familiar amicability.
You thankfully smiled up at him, having met him many times before.
His name was Jin, and he was the one who got Jungkook this job.
It occurred about five years ago when you first told Jungkook that you were pregnant. Being the romantic but overall good guy that Jungkook was, he insisted that you two get married so that your child could have parents who were at least husband and wife. In addition it would also lessen the judgment in your two families, which at the time was extremely appealing to you. You had agreed to marry on one condition: after running to the courthouse you two would need to move in together in a decent apartment with a room for the nursery. But getting an apartment would mean month-to-month rent, and Jungkook’s tattooing gigs weren’t stable enough to ensure that.
Jin was originally a friend of Jungkook’s older brother, but when he heard through the grapevine about the issue, he bought Jungkook a couple of suits and offered him a job at the corporation he worked at.
Now Jungkook made more than enough money to support your little family, and it was all because Jin took a chance on a college drop-out and his knocked-up girlfriend.
You opened your mouth to respond but were cut off by the unknown lady beside Jin.
“I’d say a little too much fun if anything. Sana and Jungkook, we get that you're the infamous office couple but maybe tone it down a bit, huh?” She joked while raising her brows at the close proximity between the two.
A long and tortuous silence swept the scene.
Jin glanced at you, pity swimming in his usually carefree eyes.
Not trusting your voice to say anything and desperately wanting to hide your face from the piercing eyes, you distracted yourself by taking calculated sips of watered-down eggnog.
“Daehyun...this is actually Y/n, Jungkook’s wife,” Jin told the lady in an uncomfortable voice.
You didn’t know what stung more, the fact that this stranger thought that there was more chemistry between Sana and your husband than with you, or that it was Jin who corrected this mistake and not Jungkook himself.
“O-Oh, well it’s nice to meet you.” Daehyun awkwardly said to you while avoiding direct eye contact.
You offered a tight smile, “Pleasure.”
Whatever gratitude you could’ve had for Daehyun’s clear embarrassment quickly vanished when the woman went on to continue, “I’m sorry. Jungkook never mentioned being married and he doesn’t wear a ring so I didn’t even know. I bet it must be interesting for his housewife to meet his office wife though, right?”
She laughed, not realizing that she only succeeded in putting a foot in her mouth right before stomping it all over your pesky little heart. The group didn’t seem to share your uneasiness, all three of them politely chuckling along to the lukewarm joke at your expense. Once again, you focused on your dwindling beverage to avoid the burden of speaking or even facing them directly, too scared that your miserable expression would be unanimously inspected.
“Well, we just came over to recruit you all for some karaoke!” Jin cheerfully announced, clearly trying to change the subject, “There’s a machine in the break-out room and it’s more fun to sing with a group.”
“More like you want an audience.” Jungkook wittingly teased, a handsome smirk on his face as Sana playfully scolded him with a push to the chest.
“I’ll take your jabs now Kookie because I know they stem from your insecurity that I can actually upstage you in the vocals department.” Jin rebutted in good nature, even letting your husband’s old nickname slip.
Daehyun and Sana both guffawed at this declaration, exaggerated disbelief present on their faces.
“Jungkook is the best singer in the office. He’ll upstage you without even trying.” Daehyun said in a tenor of utter confidence.
“Only one way to find out!” Jin brushed the comment off, pointing to the direction of the assumed breakout room, “Karaoke anyone?”
The so-called office wife nodded enthusiastically, taking your husband’s arm and looking up at him to plead, “Can we do a duet of that one song we like?”
Jungkook, for the first time in seemingly hours, shot you with a questioning gaze.
Be married to someone for a while and you’ll learn how to decipher what they’re trying to say with just mere looks. Your husband was wordlessly inquiring if you were going to join, if he should go along with the group or if you two should break away and do something else.
The ball was finally in your court.
Not wanting to be rude but needing to get away from these people before you lost your cool, you decided on a subtle excuse.
“I need a refill, but maybe we can meet you all later?” You said, shaking your empty paper cup as if to prove your case.
“Oh, well the drinks are right behind you.” Sana condescendingly pointed out, tightening her hold on your husband and began steering him towards the exit, “We’ll save a seat for you.”
Bewildered, you watched as Jungkook obediently followed her lead with the Daehyun girl trailing behind.
He didn’t even spare you a glance.
You wanted to be angry.
You wanted to storm up to your husband, yank him out of the clutches of his colleagues and practically drag him back home under the premise that he would never speak to Sana ever again.
But instead of a righteous rage fueled by the marital vows you two took, utter exhaustion bestowed upon you and prevented any instigation on your part.
Maybe earlier in your marriage you would’ve fought for his attention, but now you simply just wanted to go home and lick your wounds with the help of a Ben and Jerry’s ice cream while self-obsessing over Sana’s outrageous attractiveness. After all, who could blame any hot-blooded man for choosing that goddess over you? What could you possibly do but lean back and accept that she was the obvious choice?
Other than her being a knockout beauty while you were merely average on your best day, she had other qualities that made her a more appealing catch. She was most likely younger than you, obviously fit, more ambitious and professionally driven than you, and presumably has no kids.
Meanwhile, you were just an old stay-at-home mom who lived off of her husband’s paychecks while he fucked his coworkers behind her oblivious back.
Before you could draw more detailed comparisons between Sana and yourself, you felt a large hand place itself on the middle of your back, successfully guiding your attention to the only person who bothered staying by your side.
Jin smiled sadly at you, sympathy shadowing his expression as he gestured with his other hand to the empty cup still in your hold. “Let’s get you some more eggnog.”
You nodded wordlessly, still speechless from the interaction, and allowed the taller man to guide you towards the snack table. Jin then took your cup and refilled it himself, providing you the opportunity to pick at the catered food in some cheap attempt at stress eating. By the time Jin came back with a full cup, you were halfway done with a sugar cookie and eyeing the meatballs next.
“Here ya go,” Jin said as he handed over the drink to you. You took it and nodded in thanks but kept your eyes glued to the food, not wanting him to see just how defeated and tired your face probably was. But, Jin wasn’t going to let the whole thing go. “Y/n….I know what you saw and heard looks really bad but trust me….nothing is going on between Sana and Jungkook.”
You snorted. “It doesn’t just look bad, Jin. It was like they were practically rubbing it in my face. Him having an affair isn’t the problem, it’s the way they’re not even bothering to keep it down. The least they could do is be discreet.”
Jin’s jaw slightly dropped, “‘Him having an affair isn’t the problem’? Y/n, do you even hear yourself? Of course that would be a problem! Do you not care about your own marriage anymore?”
And there it was.
The big question.
Did you truly even care about this marriage?
Well, let’s look at the facts.
One: The disrespect of his alleged mistress was more offensive to you than the fact that she was a mistress.
Two: Jungkook dragging you along to this office Christmas party was the first time in over a year that he bothered to take you out.
Three: You two had humble beginnings and could barely afford food, much less wedding bands when you first got married, but now he was a very wealthy man and had no excuse for not buying you or himself a ring. Unless, of course, he enjoyed acting single around other women.
Four: And on top of all this, it had to be factored in how distant he has been with overwhelming work hours that prevented any alone time with your husband. Sex with Jungkook has been off the table for almost a year now.
But did any of this really bother you until tonight? The answer was a resounding no. You were willing to take all those burdens in stride but tonight it wasn’t just about the fact that you were the unwanted wife Jungkook got sacked with, it was the fact that you were humiliated and forced to face the type of girl Jungkook should’ve been married to all along. That was all you were truly upset about.
The conclusion that you indeed didn’t care about your marriage and haven’t in some time now hit you in a sudden wave, but in no way were you shocked.
Voice shaky and brittle, you allowed yourself to be vulnerable with Jin and say the one thing you always secretly thought but never dared utter out loud. “I-I guess I always expected it to end like this. When we were younger, he was always the popular one and all the girls wanted him. We were only dating for three months when I got pregnant, and if it weren’t for our son he probably would’ve dumped me eventually and left for another girl. But, he stuck around for his kid because he’s a good father. And I’ve been nothing but a burden to him for a while now.”
Tears began to blur your vision, forcing you to quickly duck down and quietly sip at your drink so as to not embarrass yourself even more.
You heard a shuffle and suddenly Jin was holding you, using both of his lengthy arms to cage you in and rest you against his broad chest. It had been a long time since a man had held you like that, and you practically went boneless at the contact. You closed your eyes and tried to will away the incoming tears, even going so far as to solely focus on the scent of Jin’s cologne as he soothingly said, “Y/n, listen closely to what I’m about to say. You and Hugo were never a burden to Jungkook, and you two never will be. Your marriage was sudden, but it doesn’t make it less valid than any other marriage out there. Jungkook has been with you for so long, he just doesn’t realize when other women are interested in him because he’s been off the market forever. But I promise you, if I knew for even a second that he cheated, I would tell you right away.”
You didn’t say anything.
Although Jin’s words were comforting, they weren’t necessarily true. A marriage that started from a healthy courtship and true love instead of inconvenient circumstances was of course more valid than yours. And even though you were sure of Jin’s honesty and loyalty to you, Jungkook could’ve easily kept his affair secret from Jin as well.
However, you didn’t wish to concern Jin anymore. You already put him through too much awkwardness tonight and didn’t want to keep him by your side as some sort of emotional sponsor any longer than you already have. Jin always loved parties and was the life of any one he was invited to, even if it was just a lame annual office gathering. You then felt guilty for putting Jin in a situation where he would even have to console you when he should be out enjoying karaoke with the rest of his coworkers.
You promptly pulled away from Jin and wiped at your face. He released you and also took a step back, carefully studying you for any signs of further turmoil. Once sure that your face was acceptably dry, you gazed back up at him and offered a thankful smile. “Thanks Jin, I’m sorry I just dumped all of that on you. I really have to use the ladies' room though, can you point me to it?”
“It’s right by the conference room,” Jin informed, pointing out the general direction for you. You nodded and took a few steps toward it before he grasped your wrist to stop you and ask, “Do you want me to wait for you?”
“No, it’s okay. I’ll just find you and Jungkook when I’m out. Go and join the others for karaoke.”
Jin nodded but seemed unsure.
You didn’t look back to see if he actually went to follow the others, instead just advancing to the restrooms, secretly looking forward to some alone time even if it had to come from a public bathroom.
Once you entered the restroom you were relieved to find it completely empty, you weren’t sure if you could handle another run-in with Jungkook’s female colleagues. They all seemed to have a personal vendetta against you.
Instantly, you dashed to the mirror to inspect your makeup, assuming at least the mascara was ruined from your little cry. Thankfully, the damage was minimal and you were able to clean the smudges up with a damp napkin. You focused all your attention on the dreadfully small task, trying not to study your reflection too much given it would just conjure up more mental comparisons to all the other prettier women you encountered that night.
Yet the small task couldn’t last a lifetime, and you had to resort to looking at your phone in search of things to do. You weren’t emotionally ready to go out and search for your husband, so you wanted to prolong your time in the bathroom. Although it hasn’t been that long since you left the house, you decided to text the babysitter for any updates about your son.
To Emily: Hey, is everything okay with Hugo?
It only took about 40 seconds for the teenage neighbor girl to text back an answer, clearly on top of things and overly eager to provide any updates.
Emily: Yes! He ate his dinner, took his bath and we’re about to get ready for bed.
Your motherly instincts were satisfied with that response, but it didn’t do anything to subdue your desire to return back home. Your thumbs briefly hovered over the keypad, somewhat hesitant with the next text you were about to send.
To Emily: Great, thanks again for doing this. Listen, I think we might head back home sooner than we thought. Don’t worry tho, I’ll still give you the pay for the full four hours.
Before you could wait for a response from her, the sound of multiple incoming footsteps interrupted the steady silence in the restroom. Muffled female conversation could also be heard, the slight laughter and bickering amongst a group of women approaching the bathroom. Your fight or flight instinct was triggered, and to avoid any more awkward encounters you rushed to the nearest stall and shut the door- fully prepared to wait out the faceless group of female colleagues.
You heard the restroom door swish open before the women burst in, chatting and giggling with their heels clicking against the tile floor. One of the unknown females made way to the stall beside you, the others presumably hovering by the mirror if the sudden comments about their appearances were anything to go by. You quietly sighed and pulled out your phone again, ready to drown out their office politics talk.
Only for the conversation to somehow steer towards you.
“Did you see her?”
“Of course, I was very confused, to be honest.” One of them replied. “I mean….look at Jungkook and you just assume that whoever he’s with is drop-dead gorgeous, and she was just eh.”
“Yeah, she was pretty plain. What was her name again?”
“Y/n.” A third voice cut in, this one eerily familiar to you.
You glued a hand over your mouth to silence your gasp.
It was Sana.
“Did he ever mention her around you? You are the closest to him in the office Sana, and we didn’t even know he had a wife until tonight.”
“No, I didn’t know until tonight either.”
“What?! That’s insane. Literally all the time he spends with you: getting coffee, buying you lunch, driving you home after late nights, and he conveniently never mentions that he has a wife at home?”
“That’s suspicious. But I guess if I had a dog like that at home, I’d never mention her either.”
Cruel laughter from all of them.
The toilet from the stall next to you flushed, then opened as a new voice entered the discussion while she approached the sinks.
“It’s more than suspicious. He doesn’t even wear a wedding ring. And he’s so close to Sana but never mentioned that he’s married?” A pause as she washed her hands. “It’s obvious what he’s trying to do. Jungkook is trying to have an affair with Sana.”
Although this exchange was extremely hurtful to you, you felt somewhat relieved that you weren’t the only one to see what your husband was doing.
A pause hung in the air as none of the women spoke for a minute, they were willing to gossip but apparently outright declaring the obvious was a step too far for them.
Eventually, one of them chimed in with their own observation.
“Can you blame him? Sana you’re the most beautiful person in the office and you look so good next to him anyway. Much better than that cow Y/n.”
Another round of obnoxious laughter that broke your heart.
“C’mon guys. We gotta head back. Jungkook is gonna get anxious if Sana is away for too long.” Someone teased.
They all murmured in agreement, heading towards the exit as a group before one stopped them with a final question.
“Wait, Sana. If Jungkook does want to have an affair with you, what are you going to do?”
Although you couldn’t physically see Sana, you practically heard the smirk on her face as she said, “Who says we already aren’t having one?”
--
Needless to say, you ditched the Christmas party almost immediately after the bathroom incident.
You texted Jungkook a white lie about Emily struggling with Hugo, although a good father would’ve known something was up because your son had never given babysitters any trouble before. But luckily, your husband also wasn’t doing so hot in the dad department either.
You would’ve felt bad for not telling the truth if the truth wasn’t so fucking embarrassing.
“Hey, I’m gonna go home to cry like a little girl because I caught your coworkers talking shit about me. Oh, and also your little girlfriend accidentally let it slip that you’ve been fucking her this whole time. K talk to ya later!”
You grimaced at the thought of actually sending that text.
Sure it’s what that cheating bastard deserves, but you just weren’t emotionally ready for that fight yet. Especially after the night you endured, you needed some time to pick yourself up and figure out what to do next.
Divorce was the next logical step, but you were financially dependent on Jungkook. If you moved out and took Hugo with you, where would you two stay? How could you afford to be a single parent? And if Jungkook were to try to fight you for custody or the divorce in general, you would need a damn good lawyer. Unfortunately, lawyers weren’t cheap, especially one that stood a chance against Jungkook and all his wealth.
Your shoulders sagged with the imaginary weight of all these burdens.
When you entered the high-rise penthouse that you called home, you were surprised to see Emily anxiously pacing the foyer in waiting for your arrival.
“Hey, how was Hugo?” You greeted politely, already opening your clutch to pull out the agreed-upon salary.
“M-Mrs. Jeon, I swear I tried to have him in bed by eight like you said but he’s being stubborn and said he won’t go to sleep until you come back and read to him-” The teenager rushed out all at once, clearly nervous that you would scold her.
You held a hand out to stop her rambles, using your other hand to give her the money, and offered her what you hoped was a comforting smile, “It’s okay, Em. Thanks for doing this on such short notice. Why don’t you run home now and try to enjoy your Christmas Eve?”
Emily looked relieved that you weren’t mad, gratefully taking the cash before grabbing her jacket and shoes to make her exit. “Thanks so much for this Mrs. Jeon. Merry Christmas!”
“Merry Christmas.” You farewelled while walking the young girl out, locking the door behind her.
You turned around and proceeded down a long hallway that led to the bedrooms, stopping at the door beside the master room which belonged to your four-year-old son. You opened it to peer inside, the familiar deep blue walls with painted-on sea creatures greeting you back, swiftly reminding you once more of Hugo’s obsession with the ocean.
Your son was bundled up in a twin bed so big that it practically drowned him, his small frame barely being recognizable in the large fish-printed duvet wrapped around his tiny frame, only his small and adorable face peeking out to stare right back at you.
Hugo was essentially a carbon copy of Jungkook. At first you were somewhat resentful about this, how was it possible that you carried a baby for nine months and he came out with absolutely none of your features? But after a while of watching Hugo grow up and come into his own slowly but surely, you were pacified by the conclusion that while he may look exactly like his father, his personality and heart took after you.
“Dumpling, why did Emily say you were giving her a hard time and wouldn’t go to bed?” You asked gently, sitting by his side and petting his black hair.
‘Dumpling’ was a nickname you chose for Hugo since you first found out you were pregnant with him. It stemmed from your sudden pregnancy craving to eat dumplings and nothing else, you once even going two straight weeks surviving off the food. There were many times where Jungkook had to bribe you into eating other things, playing on your guilt for not providing your baby all the nutrition he needed. But even now ‘Dumpling’ still stuck, if Hugo’s chubby cheeks were anything to go by.
“Mommy, I-I’m sorry but-” His big doe eyes looked up at you in teary guilt, “I really needed you here. It was a nece-necess-”
“Necessity, bub.” You finished for him, grinning at his attempt at a big word.
Part of you wanted to scold the boy for being difficult, but you didn’t have the heart to. Lately, Hugo has been more clingy to you than ever before. Yet it was practically impossible to punish him because Hugo has always been a good kid and you knew deep down that he didn’t act out unless there was something else going on. You suspected that it had something to do with the lack of his father’s presence that forced him to hold onto you like his life depended on it.
“Well try not to do it again, okay? Emily is a nice girl and she’s just following my orders when she tells you to go to bed.” You said, ducking down to peck the crown of his head and continue running your fingers through his hair.
Hugo nodded in understanding but ultimately stayed silent, basking in your cuddles.
All was silent for a passing moment, and while Hugo enjoyed his mother’s touch, your mind gradually returned to the turmoil that was your marriage.
A sudden epiphany struck you and bit your lip as you debated an idea.
Should you expose your son to your future plan?
The victim of any divorce has always been the children who were left behind. And the last thing you wanted to do was blindside Hugo. Perhaps you should play the hypothetical game just to see where your son’s head was at? It went without saying that Hugo was closer to you than Jungkook and you were more of a parent than your husband. But still, every kid deserved to have a say in their parents’ divorce.
“Bub, how would you feel if….it was just me and you?” You hesitantly inquired.
“What do you mean mommy?” Hugo titled his head in bewilderment and craned his neck to look back up at you.
“What if me and you went away to live together?” You clarified.
“Like a va-vayca-”
“Vacation? And no. But forever. Just me, you and no one else.” You whispered, as if Jungkook himself would storm in and catch you planning your escape with the toddler.
“Oh.” A pause as you could practically hear the mechanisms in his four-year-old brain trying to work out the logistics of what you just proposed. “Okay.”
The nonchalance in his youthful voice had you taken aback.
“It’s a really big decision, Hugo. You wouldn’t mind...not living with daddy anymore, right? You would hardly ever see him, dumpling.”
The boy shifted to lean more of his body against you, essentially resting against you with his head on your chest as he said, “But it’s like that already, mommy.”
Your heart broke.
You wrapped your arms around him and pulled him closer to you, feeling a maternal instinct to comfort and protect.
“Okay Dumpling. I need you to promise me not to tell daddy what we talked about.”
“”Kay.” Hugo yawned and closed his eyes, inhaling deep breaths of your scent and beginning the process of falling asleep. “When do we leave?”
“It’ll take some time, bub. You start school in a few months, so mommy will try to find a job while you’re there.” You told him, not bothering to try to explain the concept of a lawyer or apartment deposits on top of that. “But we can do this. It has to be a secret but you're my partner in crime.”
“Like spies?”
You chuckled, “Yeah, like spies. Promise to work with mommy in utter secrecy?”
You held up a pinky, one that Hugo grasped with his own.
“Promise.”
Author’s Note: So....A while ago before I took my long ass hiatus, I did a poll for which yandere story I should write next. The Unsaid Vow won but that was around the same time that shit hit the fan in my life. Recently was scrolling through my notes on my phone and found some of the plot points for this story and I needed a lil break from QQ. Plus I know so many ppl were hyped for this concept so....Here ya go lol. This is kinda short but it’s just a set up, Chapter one’s plot line will start a few months after this when Hugo will start kindergarten and Y/n will actually start looking in to jobs, lawyers and apartments. Also I’m sorry but I’m really bad at writing for kids lol, and I absolutely refuse to write that gross ass baby talk so just pretend your son is a lil genius okay? Also srry Once but I needed really pretty girls to be villians in my story so yeah, Twice girls in here aren’t likable but aren’t reflective of how i actually feel about them lol.
Big thanks to @sushireads once again for creating the cover art for this fic. They literally are becoming my go-to for fic art.
And my beta readers @bigbuffjoonie and @mustardpop! They beta’d for QQ and I came to them really early about this fic. They were with me since the beginning and have given me advice with creative choices to just simple grammar. They easily could’ve leaked the first draft of this too but they didn’t and kept it secret for a while. I was really insecure about getting out of my comfort zone with this plot but they really guided me.

He Confesses to You
Character(s) : Kaeya
Format : Drabble
Genre : Hurt / Comfort ; Fluff
Word Count : 722
Note : Hi nonnie ! So I'm not sure if this is exactly what you wanted but I tried to get the key points of snowmen, the confession, and missing your mom. If you wanted it to be exactly like the video, I'm sorry, but I had a lot more inspo for this scenario though so I hope you enjoy either way
CW : fem!reader (however it can more or less be read as gender neutral bc it’s in 2nd person and the reader’s gender isn’t really mentioned)
It was a winter morning in Mondstadt— a chilling breeze drifted through the air and a soft veil of snow blanketed the cobblestone streets. Luckily, you were cozy in the warmth of your home, snuggled up in a blanket on the couch.
Gazing longingly out the window, you saw a young girl building a snowman with her mother. You smiled wistfully to yourself, what you would give to be in that little girl's shoes. Your mom was never around much when you were young, so you never had a chance to experience the small things in life like that. Now that it was winter, the season of joy and cheer, everything around you was just a bitter reminder of that fact.
Accompanied by soft, almost soundless footsteps, a familiar voice sounded behind you, "Hey, you okay?"
"Yeah... yeah I'm fine," you mumbled absent-mindedly, subconsciously refusing to meet his eyes.
"Are you sure?"
You finally looked up at him, his eyes were laced with worry as he sat down next to you on the couch. Before you finished debating whether or not to tell him, he spoke, almost as if reading your mind, "Is it about your mom?"
"I miss her," you sniffled, suddenly on the verge of tears.
"Hey, c'mon sweetheart," he cupped your cheek, wiping the tear away, "don't cry."
You chuckled emptily, "Don't say things like that or I might actually think you like me."
He hesitated, turning away from your dejected figure and letting his usual facade loosen even if just for a split second, "What would you do if I said I did?"
Your eyes widened. You wanted to believe him, but this was Kaeya. He was an infamous player, not to mention he could've pulled anyone he wanted. So of course there was no reason for him to want you.
"Kaeya, please don't toy with my feelings— not now."
A serious expression replaced his uncertain one and he leaned forward, taking your hands in his own. "K-Kaeya, what are you doing?" you choked out, painfully.
"Y/n," he said, "I like you. I always have and I always will. I promise I'm not playing with your emotions or bored or anything, okay? I like you."
"You mean it?"
"I do."
Once again, your eyes began to water as you stared at the cavalry captain. He released your hands in favor of bringing your forehead to meet his own. His lips, which your gaze always seemed to stray to, found themselves placing featherlight kisses on your forehead and eyelids, kissing away any tears before they could fall.
A smile found its way onto your features and when you looked up at him, what you saw was pure tenderness and love in a way you had somehow never noticed. Archons, you laughed to yourself, how could you ever have thought your feelings were unrequited.
Now, as Kaeya shamelessly studied your lips, you realized it was pretty stupid of you to even think of doubting him. You watched as his attention shifted to your eyes for a moment, you thought you saw a flicker of uncertainty in his gaze. If it was there, it disappeared as quickly as it appeared and the confidence typical of Kaeya replaced it.
“May I?”
You nodded, half dazed as he gently tilted your chin upwards before leaning in to kiss you. One of his hands moved to grasp the back of your head while the other rested on your waist, pulling you closer still to him. The moments shared between the two of you felt like far too little, and by the time you pulled away breathless, you already missed the taste of his lips on yours.
You stared at him, awestruck, and before you knew it you were already leaning in to kiss him again. It felt so… right— like you were made for each other. And suddenly it hit you how much you had missed out on, how silly it was of you to keep your feelings from him when you could’ve had this all along. You had not even parted yet when you felt a grin start to creep up on your face.
“So can I take that as a yes?” he chuckled.
“I love you, Kaeya,” you whispered as you pecked him on the lips once more for good measure.

Hey, bubs! Of course, you can request ♥️ Unfortunately, I'm only taking 1-2 characters per request so I canceled Iwaizumi from the list. Also, this is only Atsumu's part. Don't worry, I'm still going to do Suna's part, however, it will be uploaded tomorrow instead of today. I hope you enjoy it! Have a good day, stay safe and hydrated! ♥️
Secret Relationship
genre: semi-angst to fluff, comfort
warning/s: self doubt and insecurity, descriptions of anxiety, do message me if i missed any
a/n: please do read the warnings before you proceed. warnings have been put there for a reason.
ft. atsumu miya
maybe keeping your relationship wasn't the best decision after all
Atsumu Miya
You and Atsumu have been in a relationship for 2 years now
With the rising popularity of Atsumu, not only throughout Inarizaki but to the other schools as well, he decided on keeping your relationship a secret
Though you respected Atsumu's choice, it can't be helped that sometimes your emotions got the best of you
Random girls would always approach your boyfriend. They were basically anywhere, everywhere - at school, during practice matches, and even when you were both trying to have a simple date on a nearby cafe
You tried to confront Atsumu about it once but you only ended up fighting, him saying that there was nothing to worry for because you were the only person he loved
So despite the heavy feeling of insecurity looming over you, you tried to understand his side which eventually caused the both of you to make up
You tried to ignore the insecurity and put your trust on Atsumu
But maybe sometimes, trust isn't just enough
"Y/n, someone's looking for you."
You lifted your gaze from the book you were reading, eyes snapping towards the direction of the door where two unfamiliar students were currently standing and waiting for you.
Even without having the need to hear what they needed you for, you instantly knew why they're here. For the past weeks, after Inarizaki's defeat against Karasuno, you've been bombarded by several girls, holding chocolates and teddy bears in hand, asking you to deliver them to Atsumu since they were afraid of giving it to him directly. So, as his "bestfriend," they wanted you to give it to him instead.
And although you wanted to be mad and scream at them to stop, you couldn't just do that. It would be wrong for you to snap at them since nobody, aside from Suna and Osamu, knew about you and Atsumu's relationship.
Sighing loudly, you shut the book you were reading and went over to the two girls with a semi-forced smile. "For 'Tsumu?" you asked, taking the paperbag from them and taking a peek of what's inside.
One of the girls nodded eagerly, her eyes sparkling as she fanned her face with her hands. "Yes, please! I really really like Atsumu and the way he played from the previous match was so splendid! With every spike, I can't help but fall in love even more!"
You could only chuckle at what she said because even though there was a feeling of jealousy inside of you, you wouldn't be able to deny that what she said was true. You loved how he was able to inspire other people through sports and you couldn't be more proud of being his s/o.
"Please hand this letter to Atsumu, senpai!" the other girl said, bowing down as she handed you a letter.
You reluctantly took the envelope from her, your body becoming stiff as you muttered a small "Okay."
"I put all my feelings and support in that letter so I'd really appreciate if you handed it to him," she said with a smile.
Just how were you supposed to tell these girls to stop giving you stuff and ordering you to hand them over to your boyfriend? You weren't the type of person who would hinder others to relay their feelings. In fact, it wasn't your job to blatantly tell them to give up. It was Atsumu's responsibility, not yours.
But it wasn't your obligation to be their messenger as well.
Torn between two sides, you decided on maintaining a polite smile, giving the two juniors a pat on the head before nodding. "I'll make sure to deliver these to him, okay? Now, go back to your classroom and study well."
The two girls glanced at each other, eyes sparkling before smiling at you. "Thank you so much!" Turning around, the two went on their way, squealing slightly at their successful mission.
You, on the other hand, sighed and stared at the paperbag with a small frown. "Guess that's two more girls on the list," you mumbled before slipping back inside your classroom.
-
When the class ended, you immediately headed to the gym where you knew Atsumu was currently training. With the paperbag and 2 more boxes of chocolate given by some fangirls along the way, you entered the gym and placed the items down on the empty bench.
"That fer me, angel?" came Atsumu's voice from behind you.
Spinning around, you were met with a grinning Atsumu before getting engulfed with a warm hug. Sighing with your eyes closed, you wrapped your arms around him tightly, unconsciously gripping the back of his jersey. You couldn't help but bury your face more to his chest despite the slight sweat clinging to his clothes.
"Ya alright?" Atsumu murmured beside your ear, worry obviously evident on his tone as he slightly squeezed you.
As you were about to answer, someone from behind Atsumu cleared their throat. Your small moment was immediately cut off and Atsumu reeled back as if you were caught doing something wrong.
The comfort he brought awhile ago was instantly replaced by uncertainty and insecurity, making your heart throb as you bit your lower lip.
"Sorry, did I interrupt something?" Aran asked while shifting his gaze between you and Atsumu.
With a forced chuckle, Atsumu was quick to scratch the back of his head. "It's fine. I was just givin' y/n here a hug. They seem kinda down. Ya know, bestfriend duties."
Bestfriend.
"Ah.." Aran simply muttered with a slow nod. "Practice is almost done. Why don't ya sit down while we cool down and clean up?"
Sitting down on the bench, you looked at Aran with a small smile before nodding. "Okay," you said before turning your head to Atsumu's direction. His eyebrow was already raised as if asking you whether you were fine or not.
"I'm fine Atsumu. I'll wait for you here."
When the boys went back to the court, you were left alone to ponder with your thoughts. It felt as if the sounds around you suddenly died, your self doubts once again making its presence known.
You knew how much Atsumu loves you. In fact, he never failed to remind you everyday. Not once did he forgot to say it and express it through actions, or at least when you were both alone.
Everytime you were in school, he would deny your relationship. When people asked if you were his s/o, he would simply shake his head and claim you as his bestfriend. It really didn't bother you at first but as the time passed, you were slowly starting to question why he would do such thing.
Though he claimed that it was to avoid people from harassing you and picking on you, was it really? What if there was a deeper reason?
What if he was slowly getting tired of you? What if he didn't even liked you in the first place?
You anxiously tapped your foot on the floor at the thought. Gripping the hem of your hoodie, you stared at the gifts you brought from his fangirls. You knew that it was an act of invading someone's privacy but you couldn't help but reach for the letter given by your junior awhile ago.
You took a quick glance at the boys, checking if they were still cooling down, before opening the envelope slowly. As you read on the letter, you unconscious tapped your foot faster on the floor, your grip on the paper tightening as you let each words sink into you.
Bit by bit, you absorbed what was written on the paper, making the unpleasant feeling inside you deepen. You wouldn't deny that the letter was well written and you were certain that if it was handed to Atsumu by that girl personally, she might be able to get his attention.
After all, she was pretty. She looked like a bubbly person and someone who people would easily get along with. There was an optimistic aura around her which you knew Atsumu would appreciate.
And maybe if-
"Y/n."
You were snapped out of your thoughts by Atsumu's hand touching your shoulder.
Jolting up slightly, you looked up at him with wide eyes, immediately noticing the worried expression on his face. "Tsumu.." you mumbled with a shaky voice, your eyes glossing with tears as your lips trembled.
Atsumu was quick to sit down beside you. Lifting you up, he sat you down on his lap and nestled your face on the side of his neck, knowing how much you hated it when people see you crying.
"Y-your teammates," you mumbled against his skin, hiding your face even more as you tightened your grip on the letter you were holding, almost crumpling it.
"Let's worry about them later, alright, angel? Yer my priority and ya know that," he answered while rubbing your back, "Now, tell me what happened. Why are ya crying?"
With the overwhelming emotions surrounding you, it took you a few seconds before you could answer, and you were thankful that Atsumu was patient enough to wait instead of forcing you. "Do you really love me, Tsumu?"
You felt Atsumu stiffen at your question and for a biref moment, you were scared of hearing the answer.
Was this it? Was he really lying to you all this time?
"Look at me, angel," Atsumu said, slightly pulling away from his embrace to cup your cheeks in his hands. "Of course, I do. Where is this coming from? Did somebody-"
"No," you cut him off. "It's just that... you always tell people that we're nothing but bestfriends. I can't always have my moments with you because you want to hide our relationship. It didn't really matter at first but... because of your constant denial, your fangirls would keep sending me these random stuffs and ask me to give them to you. I'm scared, Tsumu. What if one day you get tired of me... or worse, what if it's me who gets tired? I don't like this set-up..."
"Y/n-"
"I want to be able to express my feelings. I want the people to know that you're mine. Why can't you show them that you love me, Tsumu?... Do you even love me?"
Atsumu was left speechless as he listened to your words. All he could do was rub your back soothingly while listening to you as you let everything out. As you did, the guilt inside of him kept on piling up, enough to make him clench his jaw at how disappointed he was at himself for making you cry.
"Of course, I do. I love ya so much, angel. Don't ever ferget that. I'm sorry fer not taking yer feelings in consideration. I didn't know that ya have been feeling this way fer quite a while now. I really thought that we were already fine after our first argument about this but.. I guess I should've paid more attention," Atsumu said while staring at you, his hands still cupping your cheeks to angle your face to him. "The reason why I wanted to hide our relationship was fer people not to bother ya. It wasn't my intention to make ya feel insecure. I'm sorry."
"I'm sorry, angel." Wiping your cheeks with his thumb, Atsumu leaned down to place a kiss on your forehead. "Would it make ya feel better if we open our relationship to other people? No more hiding it."
Nodding, you wrapped your arms around his neck and smiled. "Mhm, yes, please."
"Alright, if that's what ya want."

before i fell // dm x reader
words: 2.8k
warnings: angst, talk of a breakup, mention of loss of virginity, mention of not eating, mention of not sleeping, pansy is kinda ooc and so is draco, the slytherins are assholes
a/n: i used a lot of olivia rodrigo lyrics bc i listened to SOUR while writing lol. lmk if i should add other warnings and happy reading babies!
you would be cliche and say that you fell in love the way that you fall asleep. slowly and then all at once. but you couldn’t because you didn’t. it wasn’t a john green novel and you weren’t hazel grace lancaster. falling in love wasn’t simple, and that description of it truly… didn’t describe anything. falling in love was more complicated than that. there were more layers to it than that. falling in love was rather… quick and unexpected. unexpected like snow in the middle of march. or rain when there’s not a cloud in sight. quick like waiting months for an event and finally when the time comes, it feels like you blinked and then it was over.
falling in love with draco malfoy was all of these things and more. falling in love with draco malfoy brought upon more layers than that. falling in love with draco malfoy brought pain. not just any kind of pain, no… horrible, heart wrenching, gut twisting pain. pain that began by bubbling itself in your chest right at the center of your heart, then slowly but surely worked it’s way outwards. encapsulating your entire body and making every inch of your body ache. pain like when you get attached to a character and the author kills them off. pain like when you finish your favorite book and you realize that you’re not truly in that universe and none of that actually happened. pain like when you’re two hours, fifteen minutes, and twelve seconds into avengers: infinity war and peter parker says “mr. stark, i don’t feel so good.” pain that you’ve never felt. pain that can’t be described. pain that you felt for days. pain.
you thought it was strange when the platinum blonde slytherin sought you out. he came to you one day while you sat silently at the black lake. you were alone, but only because you liked to be. you had friends of course, many actually, but you chose to be alone. the black lake was your place of solace. then along came draco. he sat beside you, a good distance away, but his presence was known. you looked to him for an explanation but he offered none. just smiled at you and turned to his notes, so you did the same. the second time he came, he sat closer, but still in silence. the third time is when he struck up conversation.
“yln, yeah?” he questioned.
“yn, actually. but yes, yn yln. and you’re draco malfoy?” you asked.
“i am,” he smirked at your knowledge of his name and then you returned to your studying. after that, the two of you talked every time he came and sat with you. short discussions about the weather or the potions assignment. you don’t know when, but soon they became longer. discussions of your day and your family. your interests and how you got your name. how you loved the rain and the stars and how you loved hogwarts, but you often missed home. draco knew you inside and out and you knew him—and before long, you called the tall, skinny blonde your boyfriend.
you walked the halls of hogwarts together, hand in hand. draco walked haughtily with a hard scowl and you with a bright smile. while you walked cheerfully and waved to your friends and to first years while draco glared at anyone who dared look at the two of you. he took you to parties in the slytherin common room and you wore his jersey proudly at quidditch games, even when he played against your house. he bought you lavish gifts at all of your trips to hogsmeade and he showered you in kisses, praise, and affection. you were whole heartedly smitten with the sole heir to the malfoy fortune.
it was one fateful day in the common room when your heart absolutely exploded. that was the day you knew that you fell in love with draco malfoy. you had been a thing for about two, going on three, months. you were sitting in the slytherin common room, reading in silence when he asked. you were pressed against his chest and he pressed a soft kiss to your head. “‘ve been meaning to ask you something,” he murmured gently. this caused you to close the book and turn your full attention to him. “want you to wear this,” he said, holding out a ring. “it’s the malfoy family crest.”
your stomach and your heart exploded into billions of butterflies and you launched yourself forward, straight into his chest. millions of emotions overcame you as you squeezed his neck as tight as possible. you nodded into his neck as a few stray tears fell. he kissed your head repeatedly as he slid the ring onto your finger before pressing his lips to your’s gently. you giggled excitedly as you stared down at the ring on your finger. “do you like it?” he asked you.
“i love it, dray. i love you. thank you s’much,” you confessed for the first time as you cuddled back into his chest. you don’t know what it was that made the blonde boy seek you out, but you’re glad he did. if only you knew the true nature of his intentions. but alas, you were oblivious.
it was the beginning of the school year, on the train to hogwarts. in the compartment of what was labeled as “the slytherin squad.” there sat theo nott, pansy parkinson, blaise zabini, and—your now boyfriend—draco malfoy.
they were all sitting around, taking the piss out of draco for all of his past failed relationships when it was brought up. “i’ll bet malfoy couldn’t get a girl to fall in love with him if he paid her,” theo spoke.
“i’ll take that bet,” draco countered.
“alright. but we get to pick the girl,” blaise decided.
“what?” pansy asked as theo began to look around the compartment. it was a few minutes before he found the victim. it was then that your fate was sealed. there, sitting in the back corner, head tucked deep into a copy of the fault in our stars, was you. you. awkward and quiet. you with seemingly no friends. poor little unsuspecting you.
“that one,” nott smirked evilly.
“what the weirdo?!” draco exclaimed incredulously. “no way!”
“so then you forfeit?” blaise asked, causing draco to release a frustrated exhale.
“alright i’ll do it,” he rolled his eyes.
“then we give you five months. make yn yln fall in love with you in five months and we’ll do your homework for the rest of the year,” theo posed.
“and if i don’t?” draco asked.
“and when you don’t… thennn,” blaise taunted as he searched for a deal that was fair.
“then we get two hundred galleons each and you have to apologize to potter for making his life hell,” theo smirked. draco scoffed at this and rolled his eyes, but nodded nonetheless.
“and what are my conditions?” he raised an eyebrow.
“she has to say it first. you can do anything you want or need to get her to say it, but you cannot say ‘i love you’ first,” blaise spoke.
“this doesn’t seem fair to yn,” pansy piped in.
“shut your mouth parkinson. no one asked your opinion,” theo growled with a roll of his eyes. but it was too late. there was absolutely nothing the girl could do to get the three to change their minds. she just had to sit idly by and watch draco malfoy break your heart as she said nothing. she wished that she could stop it, but their minds were made up. and the three of them were very stubborn.
it was a few days after draco gave you his ring when your bubble came crashing down. you were walking to meet draco at your spot at the black lake when blaise and theo intercepted you. you knew who they were, of course you did. they were your boyfriend’s best friends, however why they were currently speaking to you, you had no idea.
they told you it would be quick. that they just wanted to show you something in the slytherin common room and left little room for argument, so you had no choice but to follow them there. they sat you on the couch and began to discuss your relationship with draco. you were very confused and had no idea why you were here. “so… draco hasn’t told you?” blaise mocked a gasp of shock.
“no?” you raised a soft eyebrow as you stared on. this made theo smirk evilly as he pulled up a projector and pointed his wand at it. a picture appeared, it looked like a memory. “what’s this?” you asked before the boys urged you to ‘shh.’ you sunk further into the couch as you idly watched on.
you truly weren’t paying attention untill you heard the voice of your boyfriend. the words he spoke stung. you were soft. emotional. the way he spoke about you absolutely crushed you. it would crush anyone, but it shattered you especially. “she’s so fucking weird!” “i’ll take that bet.”
‘s all you were. all you ever were. just a stupid belt. another notch in his belt. it was that moment that draco had barged into the common room. but by then, it was already too late. the tears had already sprung to your eyes and you were preparing for a torrential downpour as you heard his voice. “i’m out!” he announced breathlessly. he froze in his run as his eyes fell on you and what was playing on the projector currently. “bunny…” he whispered softly as his hand touched your shoulder, but you quickly jerked away as if his hand had burned you on contact.
“don’t call me that. don’t touch me,” you demanded as the tears began to fall. “that’s all i was? a bet?” an involuntary whimper sounded from the depths of your throat. “i feel so stupid.” you shook your head.
“no, bunny please listen to me,” you didn’t allow the boy to finish as you wrapped your arms tightly around yourself.
“don’t call me that!” you demanded. “in fact don’t call me at all. don’t… don’t talk to me draco. ever again. i can’t believe i fell for your stupid joke. i feel so… i feel like an idiot,” you spoke. you shook your head, hastily wiping at your eyes untill you saw stars. it was then that you decided to walk away.
“YN STOP!” draco yelled. “LISTEN to me,” he demanded.
“NO!” you shouted as you turned to face him finally. “godric draco, i wish you would’ve thought this through before i went and fell in love with you,” you sniffled as you wiped your snot on your sweater sleeve.
“yn please just let me explain. please listen to me, please,” he begged.
“i feel like you betrayed me,” you shook your head. “i told you everything. you were my everything. draco i loved you. i actually loved you. i thought you loved me too but i guess you’re just a really good actor,” you sniffled once more. “i hate you draco. i really fucking hate you. i don’t want to hear your bullshit explanation because i know that you’ll never feel sorry for the way i’m hurting right now.”
“it was a bet!” draco shouted as you walked away, hand on the door knob. you scoffed as you muttered a sarcastic, ‘no shit.’ “that’s how it started yes, but then i got to know you. i figured out who you were. i learned that your favorite color is yfc and that you prefer night over day because you love the stars and that your favorite star is scorpius and you would name your son after that star one day. i learned that you love to read and you love when it storms but you're afraid of the thunder. you only dance when you’re drunk and you giggle when you’re nervous and i love that giggle. with everything in me i do. your favorite book is yfb and you choose to be alone but you let everyone be your friend. you’re gorgeous. inside and out and while it may have started as a bet, somewhere along the lines i fell in love with you so yn please. please don’t leave,” he whispered the last part as his voice came out broken.
you took a deep breath in before you began to speak. “you couldn’t have cared less about someone who loved you more. i’d say you broke my heart but you broke much more than that,” you shook your head as you furiously wiped at your eyes again. “i gave you my all draco. you were my first everything. i gave you my virginity for merlin’s sake. all to find out that i was just some stupid bet,” you scoffed.
“yn please believe me when i say that you’re so much more than that,” he begged again. “i came to tell them that they won. that i wanted out because i fell in love with you too!”
“it doesn’t matter if you don’t see me as a bet any longer. the fact is that you did. i’m worth so so much more than that.” your breaths were ragged as you spoke. “i really wish that you had thought this through before i went and fell in love with you.” you repeated with a small sniffle. “don’t you think i loved you too much to be used and discarded? don’t you think i loved you too much to think i deserve nothing?” you were openly sobbing at this point.
“yn please believe me when i tell you how sorry i am…” he spoke softly.
“don’t tell me you’re sorry. feel sorry for yourself. because someday i’ll be everything to somebody else,” with this you turned away from him. you hastily opened the door and practically ran out of the common room and away from him.
at that moment you decided to forget about it. draco, and the bet, and love, and everything. like in the vampire diaries, you decided to turn your emotions off. you laid in your dorm crying for hours before you made that decision, however. your dorm mates checked on you often, but you never offered more than merely a half hearted shrug, letting them know that you were still alive, but barely breathing. you skipped classes and meals. you were a mere shell of yourself. it was about two weeks before you could face draco again. and even then you couldn’t truly. you went into the great hall and found “the slytherin squad” sans draco.
pansy looked at you sympathetically while theo and blaise basked in the glow of their new victory. you pulled the ring off carelessly as you stopped in front of them, hair disheveled and uniform askew. you had dark bags under your eyes from the lack of sleep you’d gotten in the past fourteen days and your eyes were rimmed red with the weight of your emotions. “c’you just give this back to malfoy,” you murmured half-heartedly as you dropped the ring on the table in front of the three. just speaking his name brought you pain.
your shoulders were sunken in defeat and you were but a shell of your usual cheerful self. you don’t even know when the last time you saw daylight or had fresh air was. “wait yln,” pansy called hesitantly. you turned to face her, still staring down at your mary janes as you pulled and twisted your fingers untill you heard your knuckles pop. “you… you really love him, don’t you?”
you just shrugged your right shoulder as you used the heel of your palm to wipe the snot from your rapidly reddening nose. “i was just some stupid bet,” you replied as tears begin to spill rapidly over your waterline.
“if it’s any consolation… it was those two bozos’ idea,” pansy told you as she pointed to blaise and theo.
“doesn’t matter,” you murmured. “he’s still a traitor,” you answered as you walked away, forgetting all about the slytherin prince and his stupid friends. forgetting all about how he hit you with a train of his “love.” forgetting all about how for three months he was your everything. forgetting all about how he wrote to his mum about you and you wrote to your parents about him. forgetting all about draco malfoy. the platinum blonde boy with stormy grey eyes who had a long story buried beneath his haughty exterior. the boy who you called your first. your first kiss. your first time. your first love. forgetting all about the boy that made you fall in love just to tell you it was all a bet.
attempting to revert back to how you were before you fell.

hi! if it's okay can i request a jealous reader who gets like all mad and sarcastic to Kaeya (insecure deep inside), and his reaction because this random pretty girl was flirting and trying to make a move on him :)
im writing this in class or at least beginning it in class bc my prof told us to write stuff but i do everything early so i dont care and this is my stuff im writing hes a cavalry captain so thats close enough considering what im meant to do lol
You never have any reason to not believe in Kaeya. He's dont nothing to make you feel like you need to distrust him, knowing that he's always got you on his mind judging by the amount of things he brings you just because he was thinking of you, or the way he tries to slip into bed quietly after long days to avoid waking you.
Not only that, but he's always draping himself over your body, finding ways to make you embarrassed or show off his love for you. It's not a bad thing to him as long as it shows people that you're his and he's yours and for the most part, it works.
"Captain Kaeya!"
The two of you turn to see someone running at you - someone he seems to sort of recognise you think by the way his face shifts into moderate contemplation.
"Yes? Is there a problem?" he asks, knowing he's technically on shift right now but he just couldn't resist taking a stroll with you when he saw you leaving your shared house to run some errands.
"No, nothing like that. I just wanted to give you this."
They present to him an envelope, their name scrawled on the front of it. Kaeya inspects it quickly through lithe fingers, clearly unimpressed by the little sigh he gives.
"And this is?"
"A confession," they breathe out, clearly anticipating his response.
It's at this moment Kaeya suddenly remembers he's missing a warmth at his side and you yelp a bit as you're pulled into him. He presses a kiss to your lips before returning the mail to sender, smiling brightly at you as he ignores them.
"Unfortunately for you, my heart has already been stolen away. I don't intend to get it back," he purrs, making you roll your eyes.
He's ignoring them even more, vaguely hearing an apology stumble out of their lips before they run off as he presses another kiss to your face.
However, that didn't mean people still didn't try their damnedest, especially when at one of the taverns of the city. Kaeya tended to frequent Angels Share, meaning he was one of two stunning gentlemen there people wanted to sink their claws into.
Diluc's aloofness and almost coldness from focusing intently on his job made it difficult for people to broach his barrier, instead choosing to hone in on the seemingly free-spirited Captain.
You didn't go to the tavern too often, finding it was more fun to fill your time with something else and Kaeya was also just clingy enough that he made you fill your time with him. It meant that he was also drinking less now so as far as you were concerned it was a win-win situation.
But of course, this had to happen one of the few times the two of you decided to go get drinks as a couple. You weren't mad, but it was clear to him that something was wrong as you almost stormed out in the most polite manner you could manage, now staring him down in the living room.
"Hey, can we at least talk about this before you go and cool off without me? I'd at least want to know what I can do to make you feel better," he tries again, reaching for a hand only to be rejected.
"Why don't you go hang out with Claire? I'm sure she'd love more of your attention," you retort, avoiding his gaze.
"Who - you mean the woman hanging off me when you came to the bar? Why would I want to be with her right now?" he asks, puzzled.
"Are you sure about that? Because you looked pretty damn happy to be sitting there with her and all her beauty just shoved into your face! She looked this close to kissing you and you didn't do anything about it!"
Kaeya looks very confused, not even sure if the two of you were recalling the same incident. Yes, there was someone who made herself very welcome on his lap, no, he was not going to kiss her.
"Your hands were on her shoulders! Are you trying to tell me that you were trying to-"
"Push her off? Exactly that," he sighs, coming back to your side despite the fact that you turned your back to him.
"You know it's only you, don't you? Why would I go look for someone else when you're right here, waiting for me to come home?"
You know that he's got a point, still feeling a little stubborn as you keep your arms crossed and stay facing away from him. He doesn't let that deter him, instead slinking his arms around your shoulders and pulling you into chest.
"Come on, you're really going to tell me that you still don't believe me? That you don't know how much I love you?" he murmurs into your ear, beginning to trail kisses down your shoulder.
"Do I need to show it to you?" he asks, eye looking up at you from where he's bent over.
"Show me what?" you ask a little shakily, gasping when he pulls you in for a rough kiss.
You feel him shove you up against a wall somewhere, lips chasing after yours hungrily. He refuses to even breathe too long without you and you're convinced he's stealing the air out of your lungs to fill his own but you also know it doesn't matter because he's here, he's real, and he's in love with you.
"It's always you," he mutters against your lips, giving you a dazed look that's always so characteristic of him when he looks at you.
"It'll always be you, okay?" he reiterates, hands resting on your hips.
"Okay," you say softly, laughing a bit at the smile on his face.
"There you go. Remember that for me, alright hon?" he responds, kissing your cheek.
"I will."

How would the Four lords act around with a very insecure and shy thicc/curvy/chubby girl s/o that brings her down a lot, and constantly (secretly) thinks she doesn’t deserve to be loved by them? (Because my body image issue is kicking in ;_;)
Heyy, I’m so sorry this took soo long to make!! but i hope you like them, if you or any of you guys need to vent i will always combat it with love and affection and all the compliments bc y’all are amazing <33 but i hope these help anyway! note: the reader is specifically fem!
Alcina Dimitrescu
According to Alcina, you’re the most beautiful lady she’s ever seen and it breaks her heart that you cannot see yourself from her eyes.
She can always tell when you’re feeling down or particularly insecure and she’s never failed to pick you up in her arms and pamper you with all the love in the world.
She goes above and beyond to make you feel loved and beautiful. She compliments you everyday and dresses you in the finest gowns which show off just how pretty you are.
She loves to take your hand in hers and show you all the beautiful paintings around the Castle, many of them paintings of beautiful women and elegantly show off their curves as they’re draped in fine roman silks eating grapes and drinking wine.
She promises to have you painted one day by the fine artist that did her own portrait, but only if you’re comfortable with it. Either way she gets to admire you everyday you’re in her life.
Her heart breaks when she sees you cry or when you’re sad and she brings her hand to your chin, tilting it to look at her as she whispers to you just how much she’s in love with you. Her soft words are always followed by the most tender kisses because there’s no one she could love more than you.
Donna Beneviento
Donna knows first hand what it’s like to have insecurities about her appearance and her heart breaks as she knows exactly how broken you can feel sometimes.
That’s why she makes it her mission to convince you to see yourself they way she does, because to her you’re so beautiful.
She spends long hours of the night making you magnificent hand made dresses with intricate beading and lace which brings out the colour of your eyes and shapes your figure perfectly.
She loves to slow dance with you on the balcony where you can both gaze into the waterfall afterwards. For all her quietness, Donna will never shy away from a cliche and tells you the view of the waterfall will never match your beauty because she wants nothing more than to see you smile.
She loves to cuddle up to you and tell you all things she loves about as you both drift in and out of sleep together.
Donna even made a doll that looks just like you so that Angie can have a friend. Of course it’s instantly one of her favourites and it never leaves her hand as she tells you that your figure is beautiful and no matter what you think of yourself, to Donna you’re the love of her life regardless of looks.
Salvatore Moreau
Salvatore being the village’s biggest simp decides that he’s got to show you just how much he loves your body as much as he loves everything else about you.
Every date he takes you on he’s constantly complimenting you, telling the Duke or his siblings just how beautiful you are and that he’s the luckiest fish in the sea (get it) to have someone as special as you in his life.
All around his grotto is pictures that you’ve taken together, although his favourite one is a selfie you took together with both of you smiling and him kissing your cheek.
He reminds you every single day that it’s his favourite picture and that you look absolutely stunning in it.
Sal leaves little notes of affirmation around the house or if you need to leave to visit the Duke, they’ll be a little note in your purse with his 1001 reasons why he loves you.
He’s certainly not the wealthiest of the lords but he asks for favours from Alcina and Donna to get you nice things like jewellery, makeup and outfits so that he can make you feel confident.
Sal will never miss the chance to make you feel loved and will spoil you everything he’s capable of giving you.
Karl Heisenberg
The first time Karl saw you his jaw literally hit the floor, the cigar sitting between his lips was left forgotten on the floor of the church when he saw you. This man fell madly in love with you the moment he saw you.
From that day he’s chased after you because he’s desperate for an ounce of your attention.
When he saw that you were insecure about your body he simply shook his head and brought you into his arms for a warm bone crushing hug. Words often failed him and so he thought it would be better to show you instead.
He takes your hand and leads you to one of the full length mirrors in the workshops and stands behind you with his arms protectively around your sides.
That’s where he’ll show you every single detail about you that he loves. Each area is carefully followed by tender kisses and a warm embrace as his chin rests on your shoulder. He looks you dead in the eye through the mirror when he tells you that he loves you. Those are words that didn’t fail him.
Karl will spoil you with fine metal jewellery with personal engravings on them. He’ll make you armour if you want and any metal works for dresses that he bought for you as well.
No matter what you wear however, Karl will never let go of that boyish crush he has on you and his heart hasn’t stopped beating rapidly since he first laid eyes on you because you’ll never stop being beautiful in his eyes.

Note: Hi this ask is absolutely adorable, I had so much fun writing this!! I went on a chaotic quest of looking up cheesy pick up lines I'm ngl 🤣I really hope you enjoy, thank you so much for the ask!!! 💕
Working at Cid’s bar has been an experience, to say the least. You have met a variety of patrons, from tough bounty hunters to those just trying to escape from their usual life. Nothing, and you mean nothing, has prepared you for the chaos that is Gregor.
It wasn’t like you hadn’t worked with clones before, you had interacted multiple times with the Bad Batch. They just didn’t interact the way that Gregor did with you.
When you first met him, he was being helped into the main area of the parlor by Echo. There was a loopy looking smile plastered on his face as he was lightly placed on the floor. Quickly you slid out from behind the bar, looking at the pair in front of you.
“What happened?” You quickly uttered out, getting ready to sprint back to Cid to let her know that there was a mysterious (and handsome) clone sprawled out on the floor in her bar. Echo opened up his mouth to explain what was going on, but the mysterious clone spoke over him.
“People I know call me different names, I don’t care what they use. But with you, I’d prefer if you call me mine~” The clone purred out with a wink, falling into a small fit of giggles. You were utterly speechless, staring at the clone with a blank look on your face. A light blush slowly started to slip onto your cheeks as you realized what he had said to you. You quietly let them know that you were going to grab Cid, practically running away from the pair to the back room.
You heard the clone yell out to ‘Comm him’ as you ran away, and you went to hide in Cid’s office, letting her know what was going on.
After that interaction, you figured that you would only have a few more interactions with him before he would leave. What you didn’t realize was that Gregor was being dropped off by the Bad Batch to stay at the bar.
The biggest surprise to you was that it was decided that he would be staying in your apartment while he recovers. It was an interesting night when you found out, the doorbell ringing as you were getting ready for bed.
Opening the door, you suppressed a groan, seeing the flirtatious clone you saw before standing in front of you.
“Let me make a call real quick, um I don’t think I ever got your real name.” You muttered out as you started dialing Cid’s number into your comm.
“Can I help you?” You spoke, your tone blunter then it would normally be. The mysterious clone rubbed his neck, a little titter falling from his lips.
“Cid sent me over, she said that I could stay with you?” You raised an eyebrow at him, before opening the door to let him in.
“Gregor’s the name sweet-“ You took your focus off of him as Cid picked up the phone, walking out of the room into the kitchen.
After a long talk, it was official. Gregor would be staying with you, and also working with you at the bar. Letting out a sigh, you rested your head in your hands, leaning against the kitchen counter.
You heard footsteps, stopping a few feet away from you. Moving your hands from your eyes, you saw Gregor looking at you curiously. You gave him a small smile, accepting your fate as you pushed yourself up to sit on the counter.
“So you are living here now,” You stated, not moving your eyes from him. Gregor nodded, giving you a small wink.
“I guess I am,” You saw him glance at your comm, and you could almost see the lightbulb go off in his head, especially with the way he started to smirk.
“You know, I think there’s something wrong with my comm. Your number’s not in it.” You stared at him for a few moments before rolling your eyes, taking your comm off to throw it at him. He fumbled with it, before successfully capturing it in his hands.
“Put your number in there than wonder boy.” You muttered out, turning away from him to cover the blush that was starting to form on your cheeks.
Your movement didn’t stop you from missing the large smile that slipped onto his face when you threw the nickname out. You heard him typing on your comm, you turning back when he exclaimed that he was done.
Gregor held the comm out, your hand brushing lightly against his as you grabbed it. The blush wasn’t leaving your cheeks, especially when you looked down and saw that he put his name in as ‘Wonder Boy 💛'.
You quickly let out that you were going to head in for the night, and practically jogged to your room. But Gregor couldn’t leave without wishing you goodnight in his own way could he?
“Sweet dreams… I hope I’m in them!” You heard him call out, and as soon as you shut your door, you leaned against it, sliding down with your face in your hands.
Your face was completely flushed, not knowing how to handle the constant flirting. It just had to be his personality, surely he was just messing with you. In fact, you were positive that he was just joking around! But why were you so affected by his words?
The next few weeks went by pretty quickly, even though you weren't used to the constant attention Gregor was sending your way.
It almost felt natural, him living with you. As much as you didn’t want to admit it, he was honestly a sweetheart, and also a big help around your apartment.
You were falling headfirst for him, and there was nothing you could do. So as you were making drinks behind the bar, it was your goal to stay focused on your work instead of him.
However, it was almost as if he heard your thoughts, him sliding over so he could ‘clean the bar’.
“Any chance you have an extra heart? Mine’s been stolen!” You rolled your eyes, and he held his chest in dramatics. “I’m serious! You don’t want me to die do you?”
“I mean-“ You stifled the laughter that threatened to fall from your lips. The look on his face was priceless, and you couldn’t stop the giggle that slipped from your lips. You saw Gregor trying to conceal his own smile.
“You wound me!” You couldn’t hold back your laugh, and the both of you fell into a fit of giggles. You heard Cid yelling at the two of you to get back to work, and you both fought off your giggles as you went back to what you were previously doing.
The rest of the night went by pretty smoothly, until right before closing. You were almost done with cleaning up until you saw Gregor laughing with a cute girl.
Your eyes widened, before your face flushed in embarrassment. Why were you falling for him? It was clear that he was like this with everyone. You finished up, before walking out of the bar, leaving without waiting for Gregor.
After a little while of wandering around, you stopped at the local park, sitting on one of the benches. You brought your knees to your chest, tears in the corner of your eyes as you looked around.
You felt your wrist buzz, and you knew who it was right away. You paused, not wanting to pick up. Though you knew better, he would probably scour the whole city to make sure you were ok. Tapping the answer button, you took a deep breath.
“Hello?” Your voice cracked, which caused you to flinch.
“Hey, where are you? You were here one second and then gone the next,” you heard him let out a nervous giggle, before a sigh fell over his lips. “Are you safe?”
You nodded, before you realized he couldn’t see you. “Yeah, yeah I’m all good. Don’t worry about me, ok?” You heard him take another breath, him seemingly debating on what to say.
“You may be out of sight right now, but you’re never out of my mind.” Gregor settled with, and you groaned. He let out a small laugh, before his tone turned serious. “Really though, where are you?”
“The park, the one a few blocks away from the parlor,” You told him. As much as you didn't want to see him face to face, the tone he had was the most serious you had ever heard so you complied.
“I’ll be there in a few, stay where you are ok?” You heard him shuffling, and it almost sounded as though he was running.
“Ok wonder boy, I’ll see you soon,” You heard him click off the comm, and you rested your head on your knees, mentally preparing yourself for the conversation you weren’t ready to have.
Gregor was true to his words, he was there in a few minutes. He slipped onto the bench next to you, taking in your form. Spotting the tears, a frown slipped onto his face.
“You don’t have to answer this, what’s wrong cyare?” You tilted your head at the nickname, before looking away from Gregor. You had so much you wanted to say, but at the same time you weren’t ready for the embarrassment.
“I.. When you talk with me, you’re joking around right?” Your face was bright red in embarrassment, not wanting to come out and ask him if he meant the flirting. Gregor stared at you, it slowly clicking in his head what you meant.
“Do you.. want me to be joking?” You squeezed your eyes shut at his response, not knowing how to respond. You shook your head, and you felt his arm wrap around your shoulders. You leaned your head on his shoulder, thinking of what to say.
“When I saw you with that girl in the bar, it clicked with me that you probably flirt with everyone, that it isn’t just me. I mean, you’ve been like this since minute one-“ you felt his grip tighten on your shoulder, a sigh falling from his lips.
“I wasn’t flirting with her cyare,” He let out another nervous giggle, “Ever since the last incident I had with my old line of work.. Before the gunshot I mean,, I’ve had a hard time filtering some of my thoughts and emotions. Flirting with you was the only way I could handle my crush on you. I.. I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable.” You were sure he felt you tense in his arms. Gregor started to move away, but you lifted your head, moving to grab his hands in yours.
“You didn’t make me uncomfortable Gregor, not at all… I just misinterpreted…” You trailed off, looking up at Gregor. He had a small smile, eyes light as he looked at you.
“Can I borrow a kiss? I promise to give it back,” You let out a small giggle, him joining you until you responded.
“Of course you can,” Gregors face had a wide smile on it, and you couldn’t stop yourself from giving him a peck on his lips. You moved to pull away, but he moved his hands onto your mid back, pulling you towards him.
Your lips collided once again, lasting for a lot longer than the last kiss. Your eyes slipped close, savoring the soft kiss that you never thought that you would have. As you both slowly pulled away, you leaned forward, resting your forehead on his.
As you basked in each other's presence in the cool evening air, it truly felt like the start of something new.

a discussion of jabberwock with team interaction hcs + deeper nash analysis
for anon who asked "Can we get some headcanons for jabberwock members or like headcanons when they're together? (its okay if it was jason or nash only)" and made me realise it's about time i get these guys' personalities down
note before we start: cause i didn't know their names until i wrote this
zack is the bald one, allen is the one with a headband, nick is the other white guy apart from nash.
team hcs
nick gets bullied for being under 6ft, but not by jason
nah good old jason teases all of them for being short fucks, emphasising that they’re all 5ft tall in comparison to him
he 100% lifts things out of the others' reach and then laughs for ages after when they try get them
unfortunately though, they’re all used to this and now just ignore him. either that or nash stares at him so intensely jason actually repents and hands it back
zack’s another one with a very good glare, but he’s used it too often on jason and it’s since stopped working.
also jason gives me ‘straightens his back as much as possible when getting measured so he’ll measure in as 7ft’ vibes
oh and he thinks he could wrestle a gator and win. i’ve got no explanation for that except for the fact you can't tell me it's ooc.
allen’s very protective over his white headband - it’s his lucky item - but he’d never let anyone know that
he’s confident in his abilities like the rest of them, but there’s nothing wrong with wearing a headband just in case
(nash knows anyway)
they watch nba matches together and do not shut up once throughout the entire match - lots of jeering, booing each other if someone criticises a player they like, lots of “i could do that”, lots of “get your fucking hand out of my popcorn do you want me to punch you in the face” etc
they used to all live together, but nash has since moved out. he was sick and tired of trying to make people do chores, as the only one who kept their room clean.
yeah the others’ house looks like a heap of trash but also very much “where’s my toothbrush?” “it’s in the third coke can by the orange peel behind the sink” *silence* “yeah thanks” *a minute later* “who the fuck has been using my toothbrush”
they’re all “bro your dribbling sucks why are you on this team loser” to one another, but also very protective (aka arrogant for one another) if anyone else Dared to criticise one of their teammates
then again, what kind of person would criticise jabberwock
half of the time he spends with jabberwock, nash is a Single Mother TM trying to get a bunch of man children to behave; the other half of the time, he's just as bad as the rest of them
i talk about this a lot but i get the feeling nash is an exceptionally hard worker, but at least he gets to let his hair down around his teammates sometimes
nash is also the only person jason thought was truly ‘strong’ at first sight
and nash is also the only person who can beat jason in a fight, and also the only person who can get nash to train, and also the only person who can.. [etc. you see my point].
(n.b jason calls himself the ‘almighty me’, nash says that ‘even god can’t beat me’. point made.)
you know how jason silver’s motto is “I have never thought”
imagine him proudly stating that, before zack adds with a straight face, “yeah cause nash does it for you.”
in short, the team would fall apart without nash.
although the team’s communication and coordination is very fine tuned, nash is the guy who keeps everything in order off the court to prevent what is essentially a team of aces ('main characters', if you will) from falling apart
they hang out together a lot, but do all have other friend groups that do not overlap
team bbqs
unofficial rule not to criticise anchovies on pizza because the one time nick did, nash snapped
however pineapple on pizza is fair game, even though zack quite likes it
more than once, jason has brought a girl home and nick has stolen her attention away with effortless trick shots, funky ball manoeuvring etc
more than once nick has had to trek to nash’s place (with a black eye) at midnight to have somewhere to sleep
do you see a correlation?
oh and everyone in the team has been walked in on by nash when they were naked with some girl
nash has absolutely no shame
he apologises to the girl with a charming albeit insincere tone, and then remains standing in front of the bed/couch until his teammate does what he expected of them
usually it involves not having come to practice
allen learnt a few (emphasis on ‘few’) words of japanese before they travelled to japan and was disappointed that he never got to use them
that said, one of those words was hentai
and now a quick analysis of some panels
a) so there's at least one player who wasn't underestimating vorpal swords. if i were to overanalyse, i'd add that nick's wearing a hoodie (possibly athletic wear) whilst nash has a 'fancy' shirt on; perhaps nick wasn't expecting them to be going to host clubs instead of chilling/training?
b) i know what you're thinking: "how can you say nash is a hard worker when he didn't want to practice for the match". i reckon he was still pretty high on the complete and utter success of their previous match, that plus being around girls, encouraged him to have a more 'jason-y' personality. (either that or fujimaki didn't want to add too much depth/realism into nash's character bc he's unequivocally the villain, right? and obviously this helps with the plot and the jabberwock bad geniuses gom good geniuses rhetoric.)
earlier, i mentioned how nash is the only one that could keep the team together, and is thus the undeniable head of the team; here's a clear example. you can see both jason and zack have no interest in continuing - if anything, there's disgust in their faces, kinda just saying "we spat on all of japan, now we can go home". whereas nash won't allow for the slightest of possibilities that there might exist a team stronger than them, and hence agrees to the match. the key thing here is that the others do as he says without too much fuss.
another thing to note is nash's reference to harakiri. now what can we make of that, alongside his proficiency in japanese, in relation to his character? the way i see it, he's either a weeb or possibly has some japanese lineage. (you could spin that even further and say his mother was japanese, taught him the language, then abandoned him, and hence his almost excessive hatred/mockery of the japanese people.) (is that why he wanted to do another match in japan..?)
just a quick point. "thanks to him" - jason isn't so superior as to think that he could win this match effortlessly without nash's support. links pretty nicely with my earlier idea about how nash is the only person jason has always considered 100% strong.
yet another point about how nash is the strongest of the team in pretty much every way you can think of. you know how scary/powerful you have to be to shut jason up (after he's getting real pissed from being prevented from scoring?)
i personally think this is a pretty important panel, though i've never seen anyone mention it before. did nash grow up training in a professional basketball training situation, as opposed to growing up playing streetball like i suspect the others did? well, to answer that question, imma bring in another panel.
here we see visible rage on nick, zack and jason's faces - they can't accept their loss, which is fair enough. but i'd argue that nash's face seems to depict sadness more than it does anger like to rest of them, look at how downturned his mouth is - and he's looking away from the 'camera', as if hiding his shame.
when you combine that with what he says here, i have no doubt that this is someone who has experienced some proper lows in basketball - as would be expected from someone who's played 'properly'. he's possibly not even a prodigy like the rest of them - compare jason's motto with his. "i have never thought" versus "do not suppose opportunity will knock twice at your door".
there's various lines of thinking you could design with this - he might have been trained by alex (hence, himuro having heard of jabberwock, though he should have known of a team as popular of jabberwock regardless), he might have grown up with professional basketballer parents etc. but here's my own little theory:
nash received serious basketball training from early on - maybe because his parents were living vicariously through him, or maybe he always loved the sport and wanted to be no1. so there he was training away, but, as he grew older, it started getting all a bit too much.
he didn't want to dedicate his entire life to basketball. after all, his hobby is water sports and his speciality is boxing; that's a lot of different things to be keeping up with, whereas the pipeline for promising athletes demands people focus solely on basketball. as a result, nash become bitter: stopped attending practice regularly, got in trouble for trash talk of increasing severity, etc.
result was he was kicked out of the program.
only when he was no longer playing basketball again, did he realise how much he missed it. and hence he got into streetball, where he was tremendously successful as someone with so much training, 'elite skills', and the overly confident attitude to boot.
then, one fateful day, he met jason and the rest is history.
