but they don't know that when he tsks at your rambling, he shifts one side of his headphones away to hear your voice. they don't know that even though he teases you for your low test scores, he would stay up late at night just to tutor you till you'd get it right. they don't know that after rolling his eyes at your affection, he places a chaste kiss on your forehead and hides his red face in your hair.

so when they say you deserve better, you laugh at their cluelessness and state with a smile, "he's more than everything i could ever want." and he falls in love with you all over again.

I'm always shy to share my feelings or opinions or analysis even but, as a person that loves and misses Terzo tremendously, there was always this feeling of missing him but also not wanting to see him being brought back. And this retcon is the living proof of why I feared, Terzo and overall Meliora have been the best (personally) in many aspects that can't be overtopped or surpassed, he was the best but as well I have come to terms that I prefer for him and the other papas to just rest and not being involved with this recent lore and the retcon, because the lore back then it was tremendously good, so it would hurt me a lot if they bring them back even as flashback in their your and ruining what's left of them. Terzo obviously would prefer for us to continue his legacy, keep fighting, rebelling, disobeying with cause and overall being our best selves.

I just want to get this off my chest. I miss Terzo so much. But I also understand that he probably won't be coming back. I hurts remembering Chapter 3, especially when we can see Papa III's foot twitch, which I can only see as being purposeful. Maybe it was hinting at a stroy route that Tobias ended up scrapping, or maybe it was meant to twist the knife plunged into the hearts of Terzo's followers. I don't know which reason it is.

But, I would like to think that, if he could see how his flock are faring now, he would not want us to be sad for him. Maybe, he would want us to reach for the stars, soar to the heavens in ways he was prevented from doing.

He lives on in every one of us. In our hearts. We are the true ministry he strived to create. We can carry on his legacy.

He wanted us all to have happy endings. Even though he couldn't find his in this world, maybe he can finally have it in spirit.

"Let none on this earth inherit/ This vision of my spirit."

Maybe, this still rings true. That no other Papa can truly replace him and what marks he left in this world.

I'd like to think that, even now, he is cheering us on to be the best versions of ourselves. In the pursuit of something better.
