They’re a bit defensive too only cos they always had to defend themselves so they don’t understand the concept of constructive criticism or advice from bullying or trying to tear them down, they never had anything healthy to compare the toxicity too. So be mindful of that. They’re successfully overcoming a problem right now! They always land on top! They are the type to get kicked down but have the last laugh. They cannot be defeated, they lose battles but they WIN WARS! Maybe some of them live over a bridge or live where there’s a famous bridge (golden gate bridge I heard so maybe some of them or you are in cali). This person is a new person entering your life not an ex or someone you have met already, you haven’t met this person, you can possibly know of them, but you didn’t meet yet. Yet another transition and transformation, it’s for the better they are going to emerge from this so much better, stronger and more abundant I feel, I think that they always end up financially secure or blessed after every challenge they end up gaining some money that’s why they have so much shit I feel, they love to celebrate themselves. They are a happy go lucky type of person because they have been through shit and they have won every single war they’ve been in so they feel like they’re blessed and have good luck, others may gossip and say that they’re a lucky person but they’re really just good like that! This may be the best characterization of Shigaraki in fiction ive ever seen. Its realistic and it starts off like he does in season one. A brat, untamed, violent, and impulsive. When we meet him its clear he has no goal and hes throwing shots in the dark, waiting to see what hits. But its deeper than that, and i think spice shows that its shigaraki used to getting what he wants, hes never "failed" before and he doesn't intend to start now.

Its messed up, its all a fucked up situation darling lands herself in. She cant say no, she cant do anything, and in many ways shigaraki is no different. He's doing as his sensei instructs, and its what hes been raised to do and he cant do anything about it either, but at he tries to enjoy what he can.

The relationship is built off of him holding this over her head, she has a good life, good family, friends, and a boyfriend. Shes smart but shes not happy, and even early shigaraki may have been a brat but he was perceptive at least. In the short time they spend together he's learned her quirks, what makes her tick, and how she really is.

they both really do bring the worst out in eachother, but it's also the best isnt it? As the story progresses we see Shigaraki give crumbs of his past or what he remembers of it, and we see her learn to let go of the facade she puts up for everyone else around her. Its not even a healthy relationship, its not like theyre "getting better for eachother" its just a passive effect. Their relationship is still founded on shigaraki very openly r4ping the poor girl and holding her fathers job over her head.

Call it stockholm, but she gets too caught up in the routine of being with Shigaraki and its adorable to see, he can fuck her brains out and then tell her to play black ops 2 with him like its nothing. Its a welcomed click because theyre both lonely, they both need someone, and even if they arent the best people, they end up becoming better i cannot stress that enough.

i dont want to spoil too much of it for anyone who reads my little ramblings on it, but shigaraki opening up to her as time continues, learning, and not just seeing her as an npc is something you need to read and i cant possibly hope to explain. He falls so hard its so good. His thought processes, his panic attacks, his itching, its all so perfect.

Spice you need to pursue a career in writing bc you've made something raw, something real. You wrote a story about two bad people, two people who are bad but better and its gross but its also gross in a cute way. i love you and i love this mwah.

For Shades of Magic, what do you think of all the various villains/antagonists? Obviously, the Dane Twins and Osaron, but I'm also interested in your thoughts on George IV, Maxim and Emira, Berras, Ezril, and anyone else you consider to be in that category.

I will also make some theories about Threads so there will be spoilers!

Well, if we have to talk about who was better as a villain, it's a match between Osaron and the Dane twins. I would call this first group "the villains that were so hard to beat and we're not sure are really dead".

Osaron was the typical evil that was around you but you couldn't see and it was difficult to destroy - in fact we see how that went. It needed to be contained but it wasn't truly destroyed.

The Dane twins also scared the shit out of me because they weren't just cruel, they were plain crazy and unpredictable. It would be interesting if they were to come back, because sometimes I'm not sure they really left. What if they went to Black London? What if, when someone dies because of Antari magic, they are sent there? Because killing them looked so easy.

I'm still convinced that Kosika might've brought something to White London and it might be a mix of evil forces who have taken the shape of Holland. Perhaps they never even left White London.

Then there's a second group that I would define as "the villains who tried so hard and who are likely going to fail" and I would put Berras and maybe Ezril. Berras never posed a threat until he used the bracelet to steal Lila's power. I never took him too seriously to be honest, because he was covering for Ezril. Ezril is still a mystery. Since she's a priest, she might have skills we don't know about, like some kind of borrowed magic too. I think she will lay low because she needs Rhy and the others not to suspect her, so she can spy from the inside. We see that Kell doesn't seem to like her, and I hope he keeps an eye on her because it's clear Rhy trusts her too easily. She will also probably use her intel and her being a trusted person in the castle to steal any of Nadiya's trinkets (she probably gave Berras the ring and the bracelet). She might be outed in Threads #2, because I believe there is someone even bigger than her behind the Hand, even though we know her motive for treason is that her family is third in line after Nadiya's family. She would kill two birds with one stone if she got rid of the king and queen, but we all know that Rhy will only die if Kell dies, so... I expect things like a murder attempt at Kell or LIla both.

I am afraid because I also remember about the knife Lila nicks in the tavern that can kill someone using their power against them... even so, do you know what makes me feel like even Ezril will not win? It's because of the bond that now exists between Lila and Kell. I believe that by giving him a thread of her magic, Lila might've bound herself to Kell the same way he bound himself to Rhy. But for them, this may work differently: this connection could amplify their magic unbeknownst to them. The ring/bracelet might've been a foreshadowhing of that.

The last group is about "the ones who I wanted to slap so hard because they watched everyone from their high horse but were scum". I would put king George IV and Maxim and Emira, obviously. George was just plain annoying and I was glad when Kell literally said fuck you and stopped visiting him. I'm curious to know how he's doing, though, because I don't think Lila updates us on the king in Grey London? I hope they will go again in Threads #2, but so far he isn't a threat even though the fact that the box containing Osaron's power is in Grey makes it possible for the king to attempt to steal the power. We know he went to the Five Points to look for Kell, and he might do it again. I wonder what could happen if such a great power were to be used in Grey London. Would the magic tip from one London to another? Is that the reason why magic in Red London seems to have changed?

Last but not least, Maxim and Emira. I hated them with a passion. They weren't good parents not even to their biological son, but I mostly hated how they treated Kell like an object they owned and not as a human being. They are one of the root causes of Kell's abandonment issues too. The poor guy just wanted to be loved and being treated like an equal, but they only gave him a mere title to make people believe he was part of the family but he was their watchdog, basically. I was so glad when they died, because it served them right.

• I think the next best ship for you would be Alastor! I’m not super confident with this one, but I hope you do enjoy this match nonetheless.

• Alastor would immediately break down those awkward walls you built up, making conversation with your pretty quickly, almost instantly after you meet. He kind of is a little pushy too, if he needs something from you, whatever that might be. He’s used to awkwardness though, so please don’t feel ashamed.

• I like to think it’s impossible for Alastor to be absolutely quiet. There’s always radio noises being played, and his voice can get only get to a pitch where it’s literally just him using an inside voice. I don’t think he can whisper lmao.

• That being said, you guys are relatively loud. The both of you can embrace it together! Anyone who speaks on it will surely have a talk with Alastor.

Let's be real, this man will not think much of you at first, as he is an awkward guy himself. I can only think of a couple of ways you would cross paths: either you'd cross paths in the forest somehow while he was foraging for mushrooms and you happen to be passing by, or when the two of you were made to take classes together

When you DO actually take classes together, you try to open up to him, but your first few attempts were unsuccessful. You tried to help him out, but he felt that you came off a little strong. His attitude does change, however, when his snake familiar, Linos, meets you in the forest one day. Linos seemed to like you after he showed initial curiosity towards you, so Dia supposes he could give you the benefit of the doubt.

Though he will deny it at first, he soon comes to realize that giving you the benefit of the doubt was the best thing he could have done. By observing you, he found that there was a lot to like about you, the first thing being that animals really seemed to like you. He also came to appreciate how much care you put into caring for your friends. He also comes to like how you stand up for any injustices (though you might want to reign it in a little bit sometimes).

By the time he accepts you as a friend, he comes to realize just how similar the two of you are. You both have your special interests and hyperfixations, and you both have your little quirks that you both find endearing. The both of you are involved in the arts, and Vortex has always enjoyed music thanks to bodyguarding so many musicians throughout his career.

Get used to lots of drives and road trips together, blasting one anothers music and singing out loud. Usually you stop at a convenience store and splurge on some shitty energy drinks and snacks, and then go sight seeing through hell.

Seeing that he and Beelzebub are so close, she always invited you both to her parties, where you get to meet all kinds of people and see her performances live. The hellhounds adopted you pretty quickly, and you get along with the majority of them.

Vortex might encourage you to try mural and spray painting since you are so into art, and can get you a couple gigs with artists. Always encouraging you creatively, and absolutely talks you up to people who ask about his relationship.

He tends to keep to himself more out of the two of you, but expect him to back you up if someone ever has an issue with you. Extremely chill, and will always make sure your comfort is above all else!

Chapter One

REGULUS’ POV

Another argument between James Potter and Severus Snape, of course, led us all to the bathroom. I'd only followed to monitor my brother, Sirius, who now stands in the middle of all of us. I stay on the sidelines. Barty Crouch Jr blocks the door, but he doesn't do a good job. Unfortunately, none of us realized how terrible of a job he was doing until a girl catches our attention, barging her way into our affairs.

"Where is he?!" We hear the girl yell, causing Barty to spin around.

"Never you mind-" Barty tries, but fails.

She shoves her way past him and marches in, I normally wouldn't think twice, except that she's now in the boys room. I know exactly who she is, Nyx Crowley, the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen. She's the princess of Slytherin, and cunning enough to destroy the entire world. Ive heard horrid stories of her family, and all rumors lead to a dreadful accusation that she may be more vile than the dark lord himself. A monster, the public calls her, along with every other Crowley. Her elder brother attended Hogwarts, but he never graduated, joining the dark arts instead...just like their father. I would ask her personally, but I've never spoke to her, though we've both been in House Slytherin since first year, ironically we arrived the same year. She keeps an odd assortment of friends, refusing to be linked to too many purebloods, I assume to rebel against her own bloodline. She is however known to mock anyone that isn't a pureblood, contradicting herself. She usually remains quiet and reserved, though now is a different story.

"Hey, you can't be in here" Barty argues with her.

"Shut up!" She spits, marching her way to us. She shoves James backwards and pushes Severus behind her, staring up at James. "Are you all right, Severus?" She questions, not being bothered to look at him.

"Listen here, little girl-" James began.

"No you listen, Pottah!" She spits, emphasizing the P. "The best thing you can do is grab your books and return to class"

"You really need a little girl defending you?" He smirks at Severus.

"Don't speak to him" she demands, earning James's attention. "This is now between you and me. Severus, go to class"

"I can't just leave you in here alone with them" he worries. "You're outnumbered"

"Oh, it's them you should worry about. Go on"

"My wand, he has my wand"

"I'll retrieve that"

"As you wish" he sighs, reluctantly leaving. He gave Sirius a look, and Sirius gave him a subtle nod, I assume to let him know she'll be all right. The moment he left, she swings at James, but Barty grips her arms and holds her back. I feel my body tense in concern for her.

"Listen to me-" James begins.

"Did I say you could speak?" She scoffs at him, tugging at her arms. "Now I understand it's hard for you to see someone actually capable of using talent for achieving all that was handed to you, and you're scared because he's better than you, but how dare you stoop so low as to pick on someone"

"Me stoop low? That's rich, coming from a Crowley. Did you think we'd forget what your traitor brother did?"

"He's still better than you"

"He burned half this school"

"At least he didn't torture innocent students daily"

"Stop meddling in our business"

"The next time you go after him, I'll bloody your nose. Understand?"

"Why don't you do it now then? Unless your scared"

"A Crowley scared of some filthy little Potter?! Don't be so stupid"

"You can't fight a girl" Sirius says. "Leave it be"

"No, she's so brave, let her do something"

"You don't want me to do something" she stares at him.

"Let her go, let's all move on before something happens that we can't repair" Sirius tries. Barty agrees, letting go of her arms.

"Wait until Lily hears about this" she spits.

She starts to walk away when James grips her wrist, jerking her back to him. I step closer, refusing to let him fight her. She shoves him back, but he grips her collar and pulls her closer. I grip his wrist, placing a hand on her back in case he shoves her.

"Let her go" I stare.

"Regulus-" he began.

"I said to remove your hand from her" I demand.

He stares at me for a moment before letting her go. I let go of him and wrap my arm around her to walk her out. The moment we reached the corridor, she rips herself from my touch.

"The next time your hands find their way to me, will be the very last time that you have hands. Is that clear?" She snarls at me.

"Very" I sigh, clearly she isn't one for contact.

"Good" she nods.

"I'm Reg-"

"Regulus Black, we all know all about you and your filthy family history. I'd delve into the insults I could spew solely off your family legacy, but it's too much for me to tell in a single day"

"And you are Nyx Crowley. Your beautiful family history of thievery, sly tricks and dark magic is far worse than the tales of my house"

"Messe" she nods.

"So, James can't bully people but you can?"

"You're whole little crew deserves it. Severus doesn't...well, at least not from him"

"How is that fair?"

"Because at least I mock them for being mudbloods, not because of some little crush. It's pathetic and a total embarrassment"

"Do you know the entire story?"

"I'm walking away now"

"I take that as a no?"

"Do you know the entire story, Black? I didn't think so"

"Well it's been lovely" I sighed sarcastically.

"Don't lie to me" she teases, walking away from me.

"There you are" Sirius says, walking out and placing a hand on my shoulder. "You okay?"

"Grand" I nod, looking at him.

"Did she say something to you?"

"Nothing bad"

"Watch her, you remember what her brother did"

"Doesn't mean she will"

"Don't defend her, you don't know her"

"Don't judge her, you don't know her"

"Regulus-"

"I've got to get to potions class, I'll see you later" I say, walking away.

I'm extremely late for class, and I can only pray it would be an easy class today.

Only potions class wouldn't be any easier than dealing with that whole fiasco.
