I notice a lot of Taurus moon/mars people tend to hoard a lot. I’ve seen ppl with this placement go thru periods in their life where they lost a lot of valuable things whether it be because of money issues of moving away or they may have had a period in their lives where material possessions were very scarce.

The direction of this one was pretty straight forward!

I don't have a sketch for this one since I simply painted over the original drawing, but I figured it could be interesting to see them side by side! It does feel kinda bad that my last few drawings were all so sad 😭 Since there isn't much art to show in this post I'll show a couple of cancelled drawings :3

I actually sketched out a little kiss for the ending where it shows the trucker hat with the updated tally! But I simply didn't have the time or energy to finish it 😪

I initially planned to make a drawing for the scene where Mickey undresses in the car. But Rory told me that the straddle scene would make way more sense. (which, true. sighhhh no undressing mickey 😪)

One of the first things I drew was thumbnails for our chapter art! We originally planned to give every chapter different art but decided to use that energy for the story art instead hehe. I had put the chapter art on the backburner for a while and when I looked back at what we had I just did not vibe with it. But I was also swamped with a bunch of other stuff so I asked Rory if she could make it instead. And I am SOOO glad that I did because SHE FUCKING DELIVERED!!!!!! The chapter art we have now might be one of my fav drawings of this entire fic!! - All the other unseen art has been made by @roryonic (I very much encourage her to show it! There's some beautiful pieces hidden from the world </3!!!!) Speaking of, once again thank you Rory for being overly ambitious on this project with me. LOL. I definitely had moments where I was scared that this would be a bust, or that I couldn't do it anymore. But your work ethic inspired me to keep going, and I am grateful for your support, both mentally and physically. I love and think about Emperor Jing Yuan a lot. Like a servant girl getting called in to be the emperor Jing Yuan's Concubine 😋

I love ancient China like the history, art and clothing. when I think about Chinese Emperor Jing Yuan I think of Cinderella Chef (animated version) it's so cute and romantic. I also think about the fic series I used to read in 2020 or 2019 when the reader is the selected tailor for the emperor and the emperor falls in love.

It was such a good story, with many good different story elements to it even though it's was an yandere x reader 😭 and I'm not even exaggerating how good it is. It was slow burn yandere yet sooo good and worth it

Have you watched "Story of Yanxi Palace"? It was a popular palace drama in 2018, and social media was all about it at that time. The historical prototype of the female protagonist is Empress Xiaoyichun (孝儀純皇后). She first started as a concubine. During her lifetime, she was the "Imperial Noble Consort" (皇貴妃), which was the highest position among the concubines after Empress. The core of its story is about a confident servant woman who starts from the bottom and moves up through the ranks with wisdom and courage.

A negative example is "Ruyi's royal love in the palace". The show still gets a lot of negative criticism in China today (yes, that's happening in 2024) - for its slut-shaming and superiority theories. The lower class people must be loyal to the noble people, otherwise they will be severely punished. There are a lot of torture scenes of women, never criticizing the mistakes of the misogynistic system, vilifying all historical figures just to beautify the female protagonists, advocating that women must be loyal to one man throughout their lives or else they are sluts, vilifying and torturing ambitious women, etc.

Oh, I'm sorry I really hate that TV show so I'm talking too much about it, but to get back to the point, it occurred to me that if Jing Yuan were the emperor, he would be very - very infatuated and dedicated. durge and minthara are such a cool parallel. how they killed for the sake of a deity that they considered the only true one, how in both of them families (well in durge's case "family") saw a vessel of their will and a tool for spreading influence how they both see themselves reflected in orin. but together they can actually break this circle of uncontrolled violence (and turn it into the circle of controlled and rational one hehehe). imo, the situation where the durge does not fully go through the redemption arc, but in the end rejects bhaal to have exclusive control over her decisions hits even better bc for her it is the same thing as liberation from the absolute was for minthara (and again minthara's phrase about shart situation that she would prefer us all to be free from our gods 😭). i mean yeah they are both still evil and ambitious women but now they are both free to make their OWN decisions this is soooo good I love them sooo much 😭

I think that even if Kugie survived the First Trial, she could never win the game. She would sooner or later sacrifice herself for Kanna, as she loves her so much.

But for sure it would make the original story go at least a little differently. It would depend on what moment Kugie dies to see the exact changes, but even without knowing that, there definitely would be some differences in some of the relationships.

Especially with Shin. He chose Kanna, maybe because she was easy to manipulate and meek, or maybe he felt a connection to her; it's not really that important. With her big sister there, I don't think he would even have a chance to use her (at least in the same ways as he did originally), because Kugie would hit him so fast he wouldn't be able to even smile weirdly in Kanna's direction. And maybe their relationship would be more steady and healthy and Shin would show his care more... normal. Wishes, wishes.

There wouldn't be a phone with the bad message to be changed—and with that, the not-so-pleasant confrontation between Sara and Shin wouldn't exist. But, unfortunately, there would still be animosity between them; there isn't a lot that could change the view of Sara that Shin has, that isn't connected with Shin himself and his trust issues.

The Second Main Game could go differently. Oh, sooo differently, in so many ways. Because—if Kugie is still alive—there would be two participants that could die because of Gashu. And everything depends on what cards would everyone gets. And it would get more complicated as one more person added to the game would cause so much chaos. I don't think I could predict how everything should go, so it's logical.

Be could have a new ending, Sisters Forever Ending, if Kugie got the Sacrifice. But going with this logic, there could also be an ending where only Kugie and another person die. Then Kanna and what she would do and how she would behave (and what player chooses) would be really important. The card shuffle could go so different than in the original, but let's say that in the end, Kanna and Shin are still the ones we have to choose from. I believe Kugie would want Kanna to live even if she died, so the wish of the older sister is something dear to Kanna. She could vote for Kugie, so they could escape. ("Sorry, everyone. Kanna is such a weak person; forgive me'). But I don't know if she would do that, knowing everyone else would die. Maybe there would still be a version of "everyone... won't you vote for Kanna...?". Maybe there would be Flowers Ending, where both sisters die in each other's arms. Or Kanna would have to live with the memory of Kugie's death. I think it would hit her even harder if both of her siblings died at the same Game (damn, poor girl).

If the Nao is in the mix too, there could be more combinations. There could be a route where Kugie and Nao die (and Gashu kills two birds with one stone), so Kanna and Shin could go together to the new floor. Then there would be a chance that they would both know they were siblings. The comfort they could give each other then would be on another level, I think.

There is a lot that could happen if Kugie survives the First Trial. It could go so completely different that the whole gameplay would be different. Maybe my take isn't even close to what it could be. This post would be sooo long if I considered more ways, combinations and whatnots and I don't know if I am that ambitious right now to think and write it all. This post already is too long and even I don't want to read and analize it again.

A MacBook and two glasses of wine, along with a bottle of Romanée-Conti were placed on top of the expensive looking table and there was a tension longing in the air, which both of them couldn’t ignore any longer.

They weren’t drunk, but they weren’t entirely sober either. A bit tipsy, yes. The wine-drunk blush on both of their cheeks gave it away.

“Maybe we should call it quits for today”. Jihyo said, massaging her temple with her pointer and middle finger.

All the work gave her an headache, but Nayeon’s scent made her headache even worse.

Nayeon always smelled so good, so intensely sweet, like bergamot and lemon. It drove Jihyo insane.

Nayeon in general drove her insane. The way she talks, the way she stares, the way she gestures, the way her beautiful, long fingers typed away on the keyboard of her MacBook.

All these things made Jihyo go crazy.

“Yeah, maybe we should”. Nayeon huffed out, while she moved her hand to her hair tie, to take it off, letting her long brown hair fall down her shoulders and back.

Jihyo gulped.

She never saw Nayeon with her hair down. The tight ponytail always made her look arrogant and strict. But this Nayeon looked cute and innocent.

“Is everything okay, Jihyo-ssi?”. Nayeon asked, while she was staring at Jihyo with her beautiful dark eyes.

“Y-Yes, everything’s fine. I guess I’m just exhausted. It was a pretty rough and long day after all, for the both of us”.

“Yes, we did work really hard today. Let’s keep up the good work, yeah?”. Nayeon smiled and Jihyo’s heart started pounding.

“Yes, definitely”. Jihyo smiled back, saving the stuff they had so far in her work file on the MacBook before turning it off.

Both of them flinched when a huge lightning bolt struck outside, rain pouring down on the concrete, turning it dark.

“Are you sure you want to leave? Maybe you should wait until it stopped raining?”. Jihyo asked, while another lightning struck.

“Yeah, I don’t wanna get soaked on my way home”. Nayeon said and kicked off her Valentino shoes.

“If-If you want you can also stay the night. We have to go to the same work place anyway, so we could drive to work together tomorrow”. Jihyo suggested with a tiny blush creeping up on her cheeks.

“If that’s okay with you, then sure I would take your offer. Thanks Jihyo-ah”. Nayeon smiled at her. Jihyo gulped at the informal name Nayeon called her, she really liked it.

“Is it okay if I take a shower?”. Nayeon asked and now Jihyo had to picture Nayeon naked under her shower, with hot water running down her slender figure. She felt her cock twitch at the thought of that.

“Yes of course. Let me grab you some of my clothes”. Jihyo smiled and walked into her room, where she grabbed a pair of shorts and a shirt for Nayeon, along with a pair of black Calvin Klein boxers.

Now Nayeon completely lost track of the conversation.

“I think I can’t quite follow you right now”.

The thinf you said about the mafia au and dynamics being unlocked is so true, another thing that I really liked about this chapter is the Opera/Ameri rivalry dynamic they have going and I find it really fun!! YEAH even down to its bones the way characters are being presented is very different from the main series!
