Astrology observations-33

I notice a lot of Taurus moon/mars people tend to hoard a lot. I’ve seen ppl with this placement go thru periods in their life where they lost a lot of valuable things whether it be because of money issues of moving away or they may have had a period in their lives where material possessions were very scarce.

Venus in retrograde people tend to come off very cold in social situations. I’ve only seen a handful of ppl with this placement bc it’s quiet rare to find but I notice they tend to lack social graces so people assume they are rude☹️ but deep down these ppl are so shy and sweet. The direction of this one was pretty straight forward!

I don't have a sketch for this one since I simply painted over the original drawing, but I figured it could be interesting to see them side by side! It does feel kinda bad that my last few drawings were all so sad 😭 Since there isn't much art to show in this post I'll show a couple of cancelled drawings :3

I actually sketched out a little kiss for the ending where it shows the trucker hat with the updated tally! But I simply didn't have the time or energy to finish it 😪

I initially planned to make a drawing for the scene where Mickey undresses in the car. But Rory told me that the straddle scene would make way more sense. (which, true. sighhhh no undressing mickey 😪)

One of the first things I drew was thumbnails for our chapter art! We originally planned to give every chapter different art but decided to use that energy for the story art instead hehe. I had put the chapter art on the backburner for a while and when I looked back at what we had I just did not vibe with it. But I was also swamped with a bunch of other stuff so I asked Rory if she could make it instead. And I am SOOO glad that I did because SHE FUCKING DELIVERED!!!!!! The chapter art we have now might be one of my fav drawings of this entire fic!! - All the other unseen art has been made by @roryonic (I very much encourage her to show it! There's some beautiful pieces hidden from the world </3!!!!) Speaking of, once again thank you Rory for being overly ambitious on this project with me. LOL. I definitely had moments where I was scared that this would be a bust, or that I couldn't do it anymore. But your work ethic inspired me to keep going, and I am grateful for your support, both mentally and physically. I love and think about Emperor Jing Yuan a lot. Like a servant girl getting called in to be the emperor Jing Yuan's Concubine 😋

I love ancient China like the history, art and clothing. when I think about Chinese Emperor Jing Yuan I think of Cinderella Chef (animated version) it's so cute and romantic. I also think about the fic series I used to read in 2020 or 2019 when the reader is the selected tailor for the emperor and the emperor falls in love.

It was such a good story, with many good different story elements to it even though it's was an yandere x reader 😭 and I'm not even exaggerating how good it is. It was slow burn yandere yet sooo good and worth it

Have you watched "Story of Yanxi Palace"? It was a popular palace drama in 2018, and social media was all about it at that time. The historical prototype of the female protagonist is Empress Xiaoyichun (孝儀純皇后). She first started as a concubine. During her lifetime, she was the "Imperial Noble Consort" (皇貴妃), which was the highest position among the concubines after Empress. The core of its story is about a confident servant woman who starts from the bottom and moves up through the ranks with wisdom and courage.

A negative example is "Ruyi's royal love in the palace". The show still gets a lot of negative criticism in China today (yes, that's happening in 2024) - for its slut-shaming and superiority theories. The lower class people must be loyal to the noble people, otherwise they will be severely punished. There are a lot of torture scenes of women, never criticizing the mistakes of the misogynistic system, vilifying all historical figures just to beautify the female protagonists, advocating that women must be loyal to one man throughout their lives or else they are sluts, vilifying and torturing ambitious women, etc.

Oh, I'm sorry I really hate that TV show so I'm talking too much about it, but to get back to the point, it occurred to me that if Jing Yuan were the emperor, he would be very - very infatuated and dedicated. There was an emperor in Chinese history called "Emperor Xiaozong of Ming"(明孝宗) who insisted on living a monogamous life with only one empress. The same is true for Jing Yuan! Jing Yuan has only married you from beginning to end! You are one of his servants. No matter what your personality is, witty and lively/shy and kind, or even arrogant, Jing Yuan finds you really cute🥰💖He is very happy that you entered the palace and were assigned to serve him. He will sometimes sleep on your lap and ask you to feed him. He was like a big sleeping lion. But no one in politics dares to underestimate Jing Yuan because he always predicts everything.

Dating Headcanons - Charlie Eppes

A/N - Sooo I have finally moved onto season two of numb3rs and have become increasingly envious of David's hair. I'm still fairly early in the show so this is based off of what I know of his character so far (hence why it's so short).

➛ When first entering a relationship with Charlie, one should expect some scheduling conflicts at first. Between being a college professor, and assisting his brother Don on FBI cases, he's usually more than busy. At times it feels as if he's being tugged in both directions simultaneously. He does attempt to make time for his partner, but things don't always go as planned.

➛ If he's unable to set up a proper date, then he'll try and spend time with his partner by doing his work around them. Charlie won't admit it, but having their presence in the garage brings a strange sense of comfort to him. If they happen to study the same field as him, then it gives him the chance to run his work by them. Even if they don't, he gladly teaches his partner about the subject as it's something he enjoys doing.

Charlie would have a lot of late late night dates with his partner though, due to his overwhelming work schedule.

➛ I believe Charlie would be interested in someone who is ambitious, and career driven, similar to him in a way. He would have a lot of admiration for his partner, and value their opinion (even outside of mathematics).

➛ Now uh...Charlie has a strong preference for eye contact - hear me out - especially when it comes to his partner. It's not sexual in any way, he just prefers to look people directly in the eye when speaking, to ensure he has their undivided attention. I believe when it comes to his partner though it gives him an excuse to just gaze at them, without coming across as a creep. If his lover happens to be the one ranting then he'll take the opportunity to sort of admire them.

I could write an entire essay on Charlie and the amount of intense eye contact he has with everyone.

➛ Charlie isn't big on public PDA but if his partner is around , he'll usually have a hand on the back of their chair - or will remain close if they are standing. His arm might casually brush against theirs every so often if he happens to be sitting beside them. There are times where he will silently lean towards them, like a flower to sunlight. He likes remaining close to his lover - when he can - and sort of orbiting around them.

At home, I believe Charlie would enjoy resting beside his partner and reading, as boring as it sounds.

➛ Charlie would be very supportive towards his partner, in whatever hobby or career they are pursuing. If it's a special interest they hold dear to them then he would encourage them to talk about it with him. He's aware how much his mind can drift when talking about his work, and how he can quickly turn a 5 minute explanation into a full blown lecture. So understands what it's like to become fixated on something and having the need to talk about it.

➛ Love to caress his partners face when kissing them! Running the pad of his thumb over the angel of their cheek, tenderly cupping their jaw. His eyes would be wide with adoration as he would take those intimate moments to just gaze at his partner.

➛ Is Charlie a jealous partner? (*cough* s2, ep7). Depends on the situation. At times he can express moments of jealousy that usually comes out in the form of a witty comment directed towards the other person. Other times he might just silently glare at the person if they are trying to hit on his partner. It's never an outrageous reaction, and I believe only comes out if someone expresses interest in his partner.

➛ All in all, Charlie would hold a lot of respect for the person he's with. I believe he wouldn't stand for someone blatantly disrespecting them, and would verbally stand up for his lover. He would also hope to be a source of comfort for his partner, and someone they can deeply trust.
