he would go to energetic atmospheres for dates. to be honest, any atmosphere is energetic the moment he walks in.

ok but he would absolutely LOVE going to theme parks with you. he'd go on roller coasters with you and scream through the whole thing

if you don't like roller coasters, that's okay! he's still drag you around to do literally everything else in the theme park.

overall 7/10 chaotic but loveable

he'd definitely tutor you if you needed it but don't expect him to be a ray of sunshine

he loves you, but that only makes him even more insufferable 🥰

but like actually, he'd be so sweet. he's the kind of guy to bask in the little things.

i bet his love language is quality time. just being around you makes him melt internally

expect quiet dates. studying, libraries, cafes, etc. he LOVES THEM

he probably isn't big on PDA but still loves holding your hand. when you're alone, he loves having an arm around you. he just finds so much comfort in you <33

He also shows his love through nonstop teasing. It's a blessing and a curse.

alright now that i've fallen into the sagau rabbit hole behold the results...

imagine sagau but the "imposter" that got isekai'ed was your younger sibling (especially as siblings who often get comments about visual similarities)

if i had the plot and motivation to write a series about this, i would definitely write in both the pov of younger and older sibling so that readers can choose which sibling to read as :)

in my pov so that uh we don't have to experience truck-kun's wrath </3 let's say that another way to get isekai'ed is by saying a particular set of words

it's not an absolute phrase set in stone, but rather if someone says a wish or desire in a definite tone.

for example: younger sibling said to their older sibling in an argument that "i wish you were never my sibling"

and thus causes their isekai :)

now this is where things can really start to play around, but let's say that younger sibling is only a casual player of genshin, or rather, they don't really know or play much of the game in comparison to their older sibling, who plays genshin as if it's their lifeline knowing absolutely everything from lore to builds to rituals. older sibling may also be a fanfic reader writer and is aware of the self aware au.

younger sibling wakes up in a completely different land they're used to, dressed in rpg looking clothes, and next to a glowing stone statue next to them.

younger sibling thinks this is one detailed dream and appreciates the scenery... until they hear hostile voices approaching

"there they are, that's the imposter that's appeared! seize them!"

start running

meanwhile back in the real world, older sibling wakes up and wants to check up on younger sibling after their fight the night before, but things seem to be off...

their belongings and/or room are now nonexistent. when asking your parents of their whereabouts they only give you incredulous looks not knowing who you're asking of as if they never existed.

"maybe we should book an appointment with your therapist. i fear you're starting to see and hear things..."

adamant to prove your younger sibling's existence, now concerned about all the anomalies happening, you start digging for whatever evidence you can find. specifically, photographic.

but any photographic evidence you had including them has been altered, your sibling now out of the picture... except for in a very specific video game screenshots, where you played genshin impact with them in co-op.

your heart sinks.

immediately you turn on whatever platform you used to play and log into the game. but even in the starting screen you could already sense and see and hear how unusual everything was, how everything was all glitchy and darker.

you're silently hoping it isn't what you think it is...

and then you log in.

teyvat is no longer what you remembered seeing the night before. you hear chaos and discord and ongoing battle music. the skies are stormier and red, the winds howled violently, the earth now uneven with cracks. what is going on? who in teyvat concurred the archons' wrath?

descending upon liyue, regardless of whatever nation you last left from, you are met with not your usual party of four, but rather the traveller you play as, standing in front of none other than the four currently revealed archons who are all on one knee kneeling before you.

as you approach them, the electro and geo archons brighten up, almost eerily, at the sight of traveller, while the anemo and dendro archons stayed more reserved, keeping their heads bowed down.

there's never been an event scripted like this...

"Your Holiness!" ...they've never addressed traveller like this "What an honour it is to be blessed by your presence at last!" oh no... "We must also thank Traveller for bringing their grace to us safely as the Chosen Vessel."

"You're just in time, Dearest Creator, for we have just caught an imposter. Now you may witness their beheading!"

you gasped and put a hand to your mouth, fighting back sobs as you witness your fears come to life.

and of course, they noticed.

"Oh Your Grace... there's no need to cry. Don't worry, this will all be over soon."

no it won't. this nightmare is far from over.

like in the electro archon's quest, your screen became glitchy and red as you are no longer able to control traveller's actions. no matter what keys you pressed and clicked, you could only keep walking towards the yuehai pavilion. though you could see glimpses of sadness on the traveller's face.

and then your troubled heart finally tips over the edge

at the sight of your younger sibling about to be behead.

James and Nia Headcanons/Dynamics

(Humanized AU: Engines but as hoomans.)

1: I like to think Nia works as a Zoo Keeper at the Sodor Zoo. So she has access to all kinds of animals. Including bugs. And James definitely doesn't bugs. However that doesn't stop Nia from trying to show him them. Or whatever potentially creepy crawly critters the zoo has. Meaning on occasion you'll see James run off screaming while Nia is laughing her head off and holding a giant tarantula or something.

2: James is a fashion designer in the human au, so maybe Nia shows him some fashion trends from Kenya or something? And that inspires him to make a line of clothing based off of them? That might be cool.

3: This one really applies to any au. But I thought I'd add it anyway. I could be just me, but Nia seem to enjoy a little playful pranking. And so does James. I feel like there could be some really good potential for funny stuff right there.👀 Maybe they team up on something? And they bring along Thomas too? That would be a funny fanfic right there. Lol.

(Monster Engine AU: Engines, but Beasty! :D)

Honestly @ohjeeztrains would probably be better at this, but I'll give it my all!

1: As monster engines, Nia would probably be leopard inspired. And I could see James vaguely resembling a lion. I should draw this actually. I've never tried my hand at monster engines.👀 On a side note, I like to think Nia was a feral monster engine someone found in Africa. And maybe Sir Topham Hat brought her over to see if she'd like it there on Sodor.

2: Uh, let's see. How about Nia liking to sleep in trees like a leopard? That would be funny. And James is trying to figure out way on earth she would do that, until she invites him up to try it. Sir Topham Hat then had to call the rescue team for a very frightened red monster engine stuck in a tree.🤣

3: This one doesn't have James in it, but I thought it would be funny. Nia sees zebras at the zoo.🦓🦓🦓Pro: They remind her of home. Con: She likes to chase zebras for fun. Cue her poor crew getting jostled about as she gleefully gallops after said zebras. Lol.

(Dragon AU: Engines, but dragons. My au!)

This one I can probably handle! Quick note to anyone reading. I ship James and Nia in my AU, so that's why these will probably seem a bit shippy. Anyways, on with the headcanons!

1: Nia is a tropical wyvern and used to warm weather. When she moves to Sodor, it so flipping cold. Luckily, James is a Phoenix Wyvern/Dragon and is very warm. And he's also very fluffy. So you'll on occasion, see her hiding under his wing, enjoying the toasty warm heat.

2: James loves mangos in this au. And Africa definitely has Mangos. And since James is the one to go on the adventure in this version of BWBA, I'm sure Nia showed him a mango orchard. They had a lot of mangos before the farmer almost saw them and they had to skedaddle.🥭🥭🥭🥭

3: On the BWBA adventure, they ran into a lot of scary situations. And James has terrible survival skills. Nia had to save him a lot. From all kinds of stuff. Snakes, ravines, his own incompetence.🤣

4: Bonus tidbit. James had rarely seen any tropical wyverns before. Even though he's half one. So after meeting Nia, he learned a few things about himself he didn't even know he had. Like being able to climb trees and walls with the hooks on his wings. And the fact he has a venomous bite. (That last one is based loosely off of real wyvern legends!)

1: Thomas like to play wrestle. And his two favorite people to do this with is Percy and James. Although, sometimes, the wrestling spawns from James and Thomas being frickin fed up with each other and then they really get rowdy.😂

2: When they get older, James is usually Thomas's partner on missions to bring fleeing dragons back to Sodor. They're surprisingly a good team.

3: James was initially jealous of Thomas over him being next in line for the Dragon Clan's patriarchy. That eventually worked itself out though. And they are actually quite close now. Most people don't realize though, with all their banter.

Gordon and Edward headcanons/dynamics

Oof. This is gonna be tough. I've always struggled with the human AUs. Unfortunately, I think the only one I have is this one.

1: Out of everyone, they are the best cooks in the entire family. But Gordon is better at fancy cuisine and Edward will makes the best traditional British food you'll every have in your life.👨‍🍳

I wish I was better at human au headcanons. The problem is most of my headcanons fit into literally anything and not a specific au.😅

Five Things I Like About Myself!

My writing skill, and specifically my ability to see things from a readers' perspective and predict the possible ways they will interpret my/others' writing.

My drawing skill, even though it is limited to just cartoon-ish, very stylized animals (mostly just cats tho). I enjoy drawing what I can draw.

My positivity. I've never been more grateful that I managed to somehow train myself into a more actively positive mindset. While I can get stressed, I feel like I can often manage it and remind myself that situational stress is temporary and happiness can always be found if you go looking for it.

My care and ability with animals. I enjoy handling difficult animals, be it spicy cats or reactive dogs, and I love seeing how animals' behaviors change over time with trust and patience. Even though I ironically don't really enjoy playing with animals that much, I enjoy surrounding myself with them and just co-existing with them, y'know?

My maturity. Took me a bit to really think of a something else to compliment myself on that wasn't just a reiteration of the above. But I've been told a lot that I'm always "so mature for my age" (not in a creepy way, but in a surprised, "wait you're X years old?!" way lol). I always thought it was a little silly, because isn't everyone "my age" mature? To my surprise, no. And those older than me aren't either. Which is okay because everyone's different! But it is frustrating sometimes lol

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED?

hmm i don't quite remember, i think i cried about palestine a couple of weeks ago bc i was very stressed abt work and my emotions were very close to the surface so to say, and this genocide happening right in front of our eyes while the world acts like it isn't makes me feel incredibly powerless and lose my faith in humanity. to see suffering and ignore it - to refuse to see these people as people, with lives and dreams and feelings that are each worth the universe, at all. just inconceivable to me.

no. and despite what my mother likes to think i do not want them and i never will.

WHAT SPORTS HAVE YOU PLAYED/DO YOU PLAY?

i played football for a couple of years as a teenager. i also did horse riding for a year or two as a child, but then the timing of the lessons got awkward in regards to dinner so i had to stop. i still kind of miss it every once in a while though, because i really love horses and riding is very nice. uhh i also did archery for two years or something. and when i stopped playing football when i was 15 i went on to rowing and i haven't stopped doing that since! honestly a pretty important part of my life, there's a lot of time that goes into practice alone and i also have to volunteer at the club (common courtesy as a member), but i really love it. don't think ill ever stop doing it if i can help it.

uh yeah all the time lmaoo which sometimes people do not catch on to and then it seems like i've just said something incredibly rude or patently insane but we roll with life's punches. which in this case is failing a 'have a normal conversation' check.

hands! im very peculiar about hands and i will commit a felony for a beautiful pair of them. this goes for eyes too but looking straight into people's eyes is, like, more intimate than sex so i tend not to do that very much even if i think someone's eyes are beautiful immediately. and also, people's shoes, bc i honestly believe that if there's any piece of clothing that can tell you a lot about a person it's shoes lmao

kind of depends on your definition of scary? i don't like horror at all but i can enjoy a good thriller. generally i think i prefer happy endings though. still, a good tragedy every once in a while... in fact one of my favourite movies of all time (in the mood for love) has a very bittersweet ending. and also i am terror crew of course

ANY TALENTS?

i used to be decent at drawing but i haven't really done that for years bc academia sucks the life out of you. same goes for writing - i so wish to take up writing fanfic and original works again and i have so many ideas, but then whenever i have the time i do not feel the energy. oh but im very good at public speaking! has always come naturally to me which is quite a stroke of luck

no! my parents used to have cats but when they died they didn't take new ones and im away from my own apartment more often than im there bc of work and sports and activism and friends blah blah blah so it isn't really a good idea for me to take a cat or something if we can't even be proper companions

FAVORITE SUBJECT IN SCHOOL?

even though i studied history i think latin and ancient greek were my favourite subjects in high school bc that's where i actually learned things. the history teacher just let me do whatever bc it was all too easy for me anyway, but latin/greek were actually challenging even though i was good at them. in fact my highest mark on the big national high school exams was for greek! also i told you about my amazing latin teacher :')

DREAM JOB?

man i don't even know anymore. for the longest time i thought i wanted to work in academia but now im doing a phd and im seeing all the uni politics up close im like... man... all of you people and your made up rules and your cronyism and toxic power dynamics and your hierarchies suck ass for real. but then idk what else id do bc even though i like museums that whole world is impossible to get into without literal nepotism so yeah. marry rich and set up something cool to popularise opera among younger generations? lmfao

Do you relate to your favorite character(s)?

Yes and no.

My fondness for China and Norway isn't one based on their characters because I haven't fleshed them out (yet) in my head. I have no idea how to write for either of them! I genuinely would love to spend a day cooking, painting, or just talking with Yao. I yearn for platonic companionship and Yao isn't chaotic and we share similar interests. My fondness for France and Ukraine has to do with self imposed headcanons.

My Francis is honestly probably ooc -- but I don't care. I have taken these guys and run away with them. A lot of my Hetalia writing is Human AU because I have a hard time connecting with immortal creatures as someone who cannot see what even the next year of their own life looks like. I guess what Francis and I share is a fondness for food and art (like with Yao), but those aren't activities I would want to do with Francis. We can both be dramatic, I will over-dress just to go out with a friend, and we're both a bit pathetic. While my Francis isn't like early canon France (you know what I mean...), he's still a romantic. I am not.

I don't think it's a necessarily rare headcanon, but I see Miss Ukraine as fat. She's plus size to me and that's something we share. I've been wanting to write a Kateryna centric oneshot about the difficulties and mental struggles that come with shopping as a fat person, but I haven't been in a reading/writing mindset recently and this topic would be a bit taxing on me. One day, though!! I'm still formulating my characterization of her... CanUkr oneshot is STILL in development hell.

TLDR: Yes because I impose bits of myself onto Francis and Kateryna for RP and writing purposes and also for comfort. No because a good handful of my favorites (including some not named) are just little guys I'd like to put in a shoebox and shake around.

10. How long have you been in the fandom? What's your lore?

In 7th grade a friend told me I might like Hetalia because I liked geography and history was my strongest subject in school. I cannot remember when exactly I checked it out, but I definitely was into by Spring 2014. I literally have emails from back then of memes we exchanged...

My best friend and I met online at the end of that school year and we actually started talking because he played this video over skype screen share. Fast forward to the summer and I'm drawing, writing fic, and we made our Hetalia Instagram account. There were three of us. It was essentially just a repost account because we were all in middle school. I never really interacted with others from the fandom other than the two friends I ran the account with, both of whom I still talk to <3

Our instagram account died off sometime around 2018. We deleted it around 2020-2021.

I came back to Hetalia by a freak accident. I was going through my old google drive and rediscovered the three-way-POV fic my friends and I wrote and immediately ran into our group chat. It was a bad fic. Basically Hetalia in the setting of Outlast meets FNAF vibes. Yes, it was a Wattpad fic... (now deleted). We made the joke of rewriting it, but that thought only lasted for one night. Then out of curiosity I got back into listening to the official character songs, and that's what did it for me... (shoutout to "Aiyah, 4,000 Years," "Mein Gott," "Overflowing Passion," "Maji Kandou ☆ Hong Kong Night," and the Hetaloid song "Brother Complex").

Got back into reading fic. Somehow I went through my original stint in the fandom without reading "Gutters" and that's what pulled me back into fanfic. Made an A03. Eventually figured, why the hell not, and made a Hetalia Tumblr so I could stop using my personal account.

I did have that hiatus, but I guess I could say I've been into Hetalia for 10 years now, which is nuts. I definitely had a period of regret and revulsion from 2019-2022, but still kept up with "oh, they made a new season" or revisiting some old art.

4. What's a headcanon you need to work out?

A lot of my headcanons have to do with Human AU FACE fam because I use them to cope with things, but I guess something that's been on my mind lately is the Tudor dynasty. My senior thesis, far before I got back into Hetalia, was actually supposed to be about the Tudors, but I abandoned it for something else. I recently got a book about the entire dynasty for my birthday and have yet to take a peek at it. I would love to write a fic where France or Marianne visits England over several Christmases to explore the relationship of Arthur/Francis or Alice/Marianne as England & France's relationship changes through the changing of the monarchs and especially as Henry VIII cycles through wives like calendars. I have to do research about it, though. I need to see how realistic it would be considering the on-again-off-again relationship between England and France (1520 The Field Of The Cloth Of Gold meeting vs Henry wanting to prove his military strength and trying to invade France). Funnily enough, I know almost nothing about France in the 15th and 16th centuries outside of :

1. Mary Tudor's [Henry VIII's sister, not his daughter, Mary I] brief stint as Queen Consort of France & Anne Boleyn's subsequent time at the French court as a lady in waiting to Mary

2. how Henry VIII repeatedly used war against France as an attempt to prove his strength [eyeroll]

To be honest, that fic is entirely an excuse to explore the different influence each of Henry's queens has over the court through various means. I don't think anyone else would really be interested though, so it may be something I keep to myself.

What are your favourite fanfictions?

Uh. Heck. I don't really have a ton of those? Let me go dig some up real quick.

Promenade! I will always plug Promenade, even if the Magic Kaito fandom is ultra tiny and I only really exist adjacent to it. I never got around to keeping up with the sequel but it's great, Kingdom Hearts and Magic Kaito (and a BUNCH of other stuff, including Yugioh) crossover, highly recommended.

I haven't gone back to re-read their stuff in a while and I fell off of reading their work when the tone started drifting more serious than I was enjoying, but Xanrivash (Vanshira on AO3) has some great Kingdom Hearts fic with a Organization XIII focus, blatantly ignoring a lot of canon (their fics started in the days long before we had org backlstories). Mind any and all content warnings you see, though, they tackle some SERIOUS topics and some of their work is really dark. The first work of theirs that I found is A Little Problem (in which Demyx turns into a kid) which is cute but also has some dark moments so you gotta watch out if you're expecting just pure fluff, you won't be getting it.

Netraptor's Sonicverse! Their work was what got me into fanfiction to start with (well, that and The Cheat Code by Fairy Godmoose which is very much a product of its time (originally read on some KH fansite, I couldn't tell you which one), if you really want some Kingdom Hearts fandom old, here you go lol). Her early works are, admittedly, kinda clunky and I'm a bit behind on any of her works after the Sonic 06 adaptation, so I recommend starting with Shadows of Chaos, their SA2 adaptation. They also have a NiGHTS crossover (Trapped in Nightopia) which you definitely have to know a bit about their fic series to make any sense, but it exists! A warning that their stuff does contain quite a bit of OCs, though, and I know that's not everyone's jam.

FlikFreak's stuff, though there is an unfortunate amount of deadfic but that is simply what happens sometimes. I HIGHLY recommend Playing for Keeps, the first part of their two-part Kingdom Hearts and The World Ends With You crossover though. (Please remember that ff.net doesn't have content warnings and you have to die to be in the Reaper's Game. This will be relevant later.) This is the fic that spoiled me on a pile of major TWEWY plot twists when I thought I was never gonna end up playing the game (and I did! Many years later lol).

Aside from that, I can't really think of any? There's a scattering of good Danny Phantom fics I've stumbled on over the years that I could probably go and dig up links to. I don't really have any NiGHTS fic recs. Aside from maybe this Reala-centric one I remember being good at the time that I haven't read for many years. The fandom has a lot more visual works than it does written.

Epilepticon Day 3

While it can be hard to find good representation, that doesn’t mean it’s not out there. Tell us about your favorite epilepsy rep, either in original works or fanfiction, or if you’ve never found any, tell us about a character you like to headcanon as having epilepsy or who you relate to because of your epilepsy, even if they’re not epileptic.

I have to admit i rarely seek out media with explicit epilepsy representation. A lot of times this is, because it makes me uncomfortable to read/see people having seizures in fiction, because it just hits too close to home and I get into a very weird headspace, ruminating on my past seizures and what happened all around that time. Those years specifically weren't great in many ways for me, so I try not to dwell on them. It is something I am kind of slowly testing the waters with and having found and being sent various fanfics with good representation has been incredibly pleasant and lovely. I have not found this in published work yet, except for MIS(H)ADRA by IASMIN OMAR ATA. To this day I would do a lot to get my hands on a physical copy and I will make sure to get one once I finally have a part-time position secured.

It's been a long time since I've read it, but it drew me in and it was the first time I had actually found representation in any media. Let alone a comic that talks about epilepsy. I am absolutely headcanoning Fitzroy Maplecourt from TAZ Graduation as epileptic though. I know this might be a bit simple?, but I think the "wild magic" trait in DnD has a very nice flavour to it where it does usually not "go away" like that and even though the random outbursts of magic in the game are linked to the magic superpowers, I think the impact and repercussions of the way the mechanic works, is severe enough to feel properly disruptive.

Especially when you play with a more drastic scale wild-magic table in DnD that is truly life-threatening to your character (or others) at times, it recreates a true sense of risk and caution, that is very familiar.

With Fitzroy: Having a character that had his dreams sort of "ripped from him by uncontrolled magic" feels like a classic (?) epilepsy narrative. I'm... not a huge fan of how the "magic situation" got resolved in canon (would have liked more ... time? slightly different spin on it), but also I am just picturing Festo as Fitzroy's neurologist/pharmacist so.. uh yay for ... medication.. (though unconventional and definitely not implied by canon this way, this is just me justifying the HC). Fitzroy is not: "Oh magic powers neat! I just gotta get that wild stuff under controll uwu!!!" he is more like "i hate my magic (epilepsy) and I hate that i have to deal with it - i want it to be gone" and he can't make it go away, but he can learn to understand and accept himself, his boundaries and that he is worth so much no matter what. Especially with Fitzroy's magic outbursts being very constant and all the time in the beginning of the story and then later being less often / more controlled, it feels like a journey of slowly getting your meds and having less seizures. :'D That's maybe the briefest way i can put it.

Lucas (mafia leader) x Reader (female)

A/N: I had this thought for days now and was like, ya know, just let it out. This is my first NCT (?) WayV (?) fanfic? Scenario? Yea XD For those who have read my past fanfics/scenarios, you know how horrible I am in explaining XD but yea, essentially I just imagine that you, the reader are a uni student whilst Lucas is part of the NCT mafia, "leader" of the WayV unit (I know Kun is technically the leader, but just for the sake of the story), okie, leggo

Sighing in defeat, you gathered all your books, stationery and some clothing before sneakily going out of your dorm and to your boyfriend's apartment since he gave you the spare key, saying that it was for emergencies or whenever you wanted to come over.

After texting Lucas that you were heading to his apartment, you went to grab a cab and head there. Truth be told, you never really went there and only got the address from Lucas. Which is why upon arriving, your jaw nearly dropped when you saw his apartment; even making sure whether the address Lucas gave last time was the exact one and making a mental note to yourself to look up things beforehand.

Upon arriving, you felt like you just came from the countryside to the big city. You went to the front desk and inform them who were you looking for, handing in your ID card and was immediately directed to the elevator, one of the securities pressing the highest floor of the elevator and left you in the elevator on your own.

Just when you thought that it couldn't get any fancier, the minute you stepped out of the elevator, you were amazed at the decor and the fact that there was only one door made it even grander. Taking out the key Lucas gave you, you were actually hoping that it wasn't the correct one and Lucas just sent you the wrong address but as it turns out, the key fits and you took a deep breath, walking into the room.

But on Lucas' side, he actually didn't receive your text message. So, the second he heard someone coming into his suite, he was already reaching for his gun because he wasn't really expecting anyone to come. But as soon as he heard your signature nervous voice, he felt relieved but worried at the same time. Did something happen to you?

"Lucas? Ar-are you in here? The people at the front desk just directed me here. I uh sent you a text" you called out

"I'm here sweetheart. Now, what brings you here at this late hour? Is there anyone I should be concern with?" Lucas stated, coming out of his bedroom

"Huh? Wow. I mean, no. Sorry, it's my first time here. I uh, I was just wondering if I could stay for the night. The dorm was so loud that I couldn't study nor sleep" you admitted, trying to avoid eye contact with Lucas, thinking that it was a lame excuse to come over

"Of course you can. I gave you the spare key for a reason, didn't I? Uh, sorry about the mess and all. I didn't expect you to come. I didn't receive any messages. C'mere sweetheart" Lucas mentioned, giving a hand motion for you to go to him

"Really?! I could've sworn I...(looks at your phone) I forgot to click the send button" you sighed, hitting your head as you went over to Lucas

"Hey, hey. Don't do that. You'll hurt your brain even more. No harm sweetheart. My place is yours. Come. I'll order some McDonalds as well if you'd like" Lucas cooed, bringing you into his office

"Damn. Two desktops?! Bro and this processor is the latest one?!" you commented, placing your bag down and immediately inspecting his desk

"Sometimes I play some games with the guys. Feel free to use it if you'd like. Lemon tea or coke?" Lucas asked, scrolling through his phone

"Lemon tea, no ice. It's worth the money better. Are you sure I can study here? Am I not disturbing you?" you questioned, sitting on the chair

"Not at all, sweetheart. It's almost 10pm. I'm done with work. You're free to use my computer. I've ordered your favourites already. I'm going to go for a shower for a bit. Feel free to turn on some music as well, alright? And please don't study for too long. I worry you'll hurt that gorgeous head of yours" Lucas chuckled, kissing your forehead before leaving you in his study room

After settling, putting on some music with your account (which was already in Lucas' Spotify), you grabbed your books and stationery then started to study for your finals. In the midst of it, you heard Lucas coming in with McDonalds; wearing a plain T-shirt and sweats.

Because there was only one chair in his office, with your consent, Lucas placed you on his lap as he was feeding you McDonalds whilst scrolling through his phone, occasionally leaning his head on your back as he does so.

After finishing the food, Lucas was about to get up and cleaned up so you could study a bit better since he knew you didn't like a messy space but when he felt your head slightly leaning backwards, he questioned whether you were already sleepy or not.

"What's wrong love? Tired?" Lucas murmured as he placed his chin on your neck, wrapping his long arms around your waist

"Huh? Oh? Sorry. I didn't realise I was leaning back" you yawned, scrubbing your eyes but Lucas stopped the motion

"Don't. Your eyes will get irritated. I think it's about time you sleep, hmm?" Lucas commented, tucking a hair behind your ear as he kissed the side of your cheek

"Hmm. I guess so" you sighed, leaning onto Lucas's chest

"Alright princess, let me just shut everything off. Kay, let's go to bed" Lucas chuckled, carrying your small figure in his arms and tucking you into his bed before going to the other side of the bed

The next morning, you were woken up by the sound of your phone's alarm but just stayed in bed whilst scrolling through your phone until you realised that you had exams that starts in 45 minutes. Immediately, you got up and went back to the study room to grab your clothes, without even calling out to Lucas and head to the bathroom to get ready.

After getting ready, you were so ready to rush out the door and call a cab until Lucas finally called out to you. Once you told him that your exam was starting in literally 15 minutes, he just chuckled and told you that he'll drive you there; which was a first since all this time, you guys just have dates near your campus since your dorm had strict rules and Lucas would just walk you there (A/N: how you guys met is a story for next time, lol).

After packing some food for you, Lucas grabbed his car keys in one hand and your hand in the other, making your way down to the parking lot where your jaw also almost dropped again since the car Lucas owned is probably enough to pay your whole entire undergraduate life.

Whilst in the car, Lucas told you to eat so you wouldn't be hungry during the exam. He also mentioned that he'll come to pick you up to celebrate finishing your finals since he knew that you've been stressing over this last final for weeks; saying that he'll treat you out.

Once you've arrived, Lucas pulled you to give a slight peck on your forehead, encouraging you to do well in your finals and that he'll see you right after you're done. You smiled and thank him. Getting out of the car, you saw nearly the whole campus that was by the front gate staring at you; even your friends were stunned before rushing to you, managing to get a glimpse at Lucas who just smiled before leaving.

"Gurl!! I knew your boyfriend was hot, but well off? You definitely hit the jackpot!!" one of your friends blurted

"Sis!! Can we save the conversation for later? I need to get this exam over with first" you bargained

"Okay, okay, good luck with your exams!! I'll see you later!!" your friend exclaimed as you went to your exam hall

Thankfully, the exam wasn't as hard as you'd thought. You didn't know if it's because Lucas actually helped you study since he actually knew the subject or something else but you were glad to finally be done with it. After the exam, you got a text from Lucas, saying that he'll be running a bit late which you didn't mind. Your friend, who was also done with her exam, came to your exam hall and didn't spare a second before plastering with all sorts of questions.

Asking you where you've been the night before since you weren't at your dorm; and when you told her you were at Lucas' place, she squealed, asking if you guys did anything spicy which you immediately cut her off, saying that you just went there to study because the rooms near yours were getting too loud and rowdy.

You also explained how kind and caring Lucas was; despite the amount of work he had to deal with, he was still soft when it came to you. Ordering your favourites from McDonalds, letting you just barged into his apartment whenever and even using whatever he had; hearing this, all your friend can do was just squeal, saying that Lucas was the perfect boyfriend.

And right on cue, Lucas texted you saying that he's almost at the front gate. Your friend saw your smile and teased the heck out of you before letting you off just because she supported your relationship; knowing that you had a rough past and it was nice to finally see you happy with someone; someone that genuinely cares about you.

But of course, life ain't that easy. Because just as you were skidding along the halls to the front gate, you accidentally bumped into someone and dropped your phone. You immediately apologised about to get your phone when the person you bumped into stepped on your phone. Looking up, you met with the campus' miss popular with her boyfriend.

"Can you please let go. I really have to go now" you sighed, looking up

"Can't your boyfriend get you another one? Oh wait, is he the one that you're meeting? Honestly, I dunno what he sees in you. Oh wait, I think I do. He's probably just in it to play around or probably did it because of a bet" the girl scoffed but you were just not having it and shoved her feet off, nearly falling if it weren't for her boyfriend being there

After getting your phone, you were about to make a run for it before she grabbed your hair, pulling you back and making you fall; calling you names and all. When you got back to your feet again, she nearly slapped you when you got ahold of her hand about to push her back when her boyfriend came and took your hand, twisting it behind your back, allowing an opening for her to get a good punch out of you.

It felt like forever since you were trapped between the two "bullies" of your campus and for Lucas, it meant something was wrong. It's been almost 30 minutes since he arrived and called you but there was no answer at all. Frustrated, he called Winwin to track your phone as he went in to find you; thinking that you were held captive by one of NCT's enemy.

When he did see you, he felt a slight relief that it wasn't one of NCT's enemy but he was still very much pissed at the sight. When the girl was about to hit you for like the 15th time, Lucas grabbed ahold of her arm, throwing her to the floor before looking at her boyfriend who turns out to be one of the bartenders in one of NCT's bars.

"B-boss..." the man stammered, letting go of your hand as you almost dropped if it weren't for Lucas catching you

"You better come to work tonight. We'll have a lil discussion about respect? Hmm? Make sure everyone comes. Or I'll just have to report Taeyong about this" Lucas growled, making the man cowered in fear

"N-no sir. Everyone will come tonight" the man stuttered as Lucas stood up, holding your figure firmly in his arms

"Good. Wouldn't want to make a big deal out of this hmm? Oh, and do bring your girlfriend while I take mine to treat the wounds you both caused" Lucas scoffed, bringing you out of the campus

Once you've reached his car, he gently placed you and put your seatbelt on before going to the driver's seat. Once he was in, he called Kun, telling him what happened and that he's planning to have a meeting later tonight in the bar. After the call, Lucas took your hand in his, stroking your knuckles as he drove back to his apartment.

Upon arriving, he helped you get out of the car and into his apartment. Inside, he brought you to his room before going to the bathroom and grabbing some medicine for your bruised face and cut on the lips. Lucas treated all your wounds as gently as possible, worrying that he might accidentally hurt you, treating you as if you're as fragile as an egg.

After he was done, he threw all the cotton buds and ordered some food for the both of you; knowing that you will tell him whenever you're ready. He put his hoodie onto you before bringing you to the living room to cuddle and just watch the whole day. Occasionally, food will come and it was all from your favourite restaurants.

After the next 5th Disney movie ended, you told Lucas that you wanted to take a shower and he told you that you can borrow any of his clothes. He even said that he'll run you a bath but you told him that you were just going to take a light shower which Lucas didn't mind. Whilst you were showering, Lucas prepared a T-shirt and shorts along with the hoodie you were just wearing.

After your shower and putting on the clothes Lucas prepared, Lucas came and redid the medicine on your wounds before going back to watching some heart-warming movies on the bed. Feeling better, you decided to tell Lucas what happened and whilst it seemed that he was calm, his mind was off wondering the endless possibilities of teaching the two that harm you; whether it'd be physically or mentally.

Either way, Lucas listened to all your rambles, wrapping his arm around your shoulder, leaning you onto his chest, giving kisses on your forehead, cheeks and occasionally your neck, chuckling when he saw you flustered; basically making you 10x better, treating you like a queen up until you fell asleep.

When you did fall asleep, he gently tucked you into bed, kissing your forehead, smiling at your sleeping figure before leaving the room to the bar where he was more than ready to make the two-person harmed you suffer; not forgetting to ask Hendery and Yangyang to come over to watch over you.

"Sleep tight sweetheart. I'll be back before you know it, alright? No one treats my queen like trash and gets away with it" Lucas mumbled, kissing your forehead as he left as quietly as possible

and let's just say that everyone in the bar that night experienced a side of Lucas that no one would like to see or hear ever again.

"Try and lay a finger on her again, I won't be so nice next time" Lucas scoffed, seeing all the staff looked down, especially the two-person who hurt you

1. Do you daydream a lot before you write, or go for it as soon as the ideas strike? oh i daydream a ton. i usually only write things if i have been thinking about them for like HOURS and they have played themselves out in my head. and even when i get inspiration to write RIGHT NOW it's very very rarely on a New Idea, it's a thing i've been thinking about for weeks. also that's how i get through my day. i escape boredom by going "okay but what if [x]"

8. Post an out-of-context spoiler from a wip. not a snippet, okay. hm. Well, Branzy fucking dies. Again. Dw about it.

12. Do you outline your fics?  If yes, how detailed are your outlines?  How far do you stray from them? god i wish. when i say outline i mean one of two things. either i've got a bullet point list of chapters that i will never actually write or i've got [placeholders] in between scenes i've written. if i outline the thing then it just doesn't flow as naturally, and besides half the time i think of a cooler idea while i'm writing.

13. Do you listen to music while you write?  If yes, what have you been listening to recently? Oh, definitely. Anything by TheFatRat, specifically Rule The World and Hiding In The Blue, and then Plagues, Something Wicked This Way Comes. my playlist the last few days that i've been looping is No Friends, switchblade, Fear And Delight, mr loverman, do it all the time, last of the real ones, and partners in crime.

19. Do you enjoy creating OCs or do you prefer to stick solely to canon characters? Tbh? Really like fanfic. I don't think i'd ever write something original just because I really really love the characters already being known to my audience & having content to listen to/read to get characterization right and stay consistent.

25. What’s your favorite part of the writing process (worldbuilding, brainstorming/outlining, writing, editing, etc)? I know this wasn't the question, but i DESPISE editing. just feel the need to say that. anyways, i love adding- i don't know what to call it. Detail? Comparison? It's not metaphor/simile, it's not exactly description, and it's not symbolism. here's what it is i don't know what to call it:

"the white of Branzy’s shirt buttons, styled into tiny clubs (the symbol of reckless youth, like their wild love and the passion that came with it)"

"one heart less than he had been before (and one heart in his chest that he would never fully get back)"

"Clown swallowed down the taste of salt, an emotional mask joining his physical one in a doomed attempt to maintain his deadly exterior."

Like- what is that?! I know it's SOMETHING and i swear it's gotta have a name. Right? That's gotta be a thing that I'm forgetting.

It's just adding those little bits. That's my favorite part. I love coming up with those sort of things.

37. What fic has been the hardest for you to write? Uh- If it was too hard it never got written/posted so. Honestly, probably the fic I'm working on right now. Not the timeloop one. It's a hurt/comfort sickfic but I'm struggling to write the comfort part because I don't want them to kiss but it doesn't make a lot of sense to not have them kiss. I'd just say not one fic in specific but really having a hard time with writing kissing. Any allos reading this /gen was the kiss I wrote in My Life In Your Hands decent at all.

41. Who’s your favorite character you’ve written? okay i know this is character but i'd say there are three types: slightly-maybe-evil smug gremlin (mbm!pearl, vampire!scott), anxious wreck with dry, sarcastic internal monologue aka Self Projection Central (o!scott, branzy), and cocky villains. I just love villains in general so much they're so fun to write.

50. How would you describe your writing style? a mashup of the fantasy books i read when i was younger with a ton of little quirks and things i've picked up from reading other fanfic. to be Completely Honest juno was definitely one of them. this is why i freaked out when xe interacted with me cause it's like your celebrity idol interacting with you. yeah no ngl juno was like basically my idol for a while.

59. Have you participated in any fic events/writing challenges?  If yes, what were they and did you enjoy them? oh. heh heh. nervous laughter. well yes actually. i am in hermitgao3ng but i havent WRITTEN anything and i'm getting very embarrassed about that. nervous. and then there's the Writer's Block Bingo which you've probably noticed me doing. it's both stressful and good for me. because it's given me good prompt ideas but also it's a lot of writing. despite them Literally Saying you do not have to write something for every round my idiot brain goes "I NEED TO WRITE THESE OR I WILL BE KILLED." don't worry it's good for me really cause it's a deadline that other people are expecting from me (nobody's expecting anything from me but don't tell my brain that or the rsd-fuelled motivation streak i'm on will die). it's getting me to write though. and i really need to do that hermitgao3ng fic-

79. Do you have any writing advice you want to share? -write what YOU want to write. you wanna write fifteen fics with the same trope and the same pairing? you go for it. literally do what you want. -find a friend. not a writing friend. no. i mean find one (1) friend (or more!) that will scream about your writing to you. your fic will not get the attention it deserves on tumblr no matter how good it is (cough REBLOG FICS cough) and looking at hits on ao3 will only ever discourage you so find somebody that'll scream about your writing and write for yourself and them. i promise it works (nix and juke i love you so much /p). -don't compare yourself to popular writers (phrases to staple to my forehead i am guilty of this). i assure you you Do Not get popular overnight. it Does Not Happen. they have 100% had way more experience than you. on that note: -learn from other writers. the best way to be a better writer is read! read and take note- how do they do [x]? how do they do [y]? that's how i got myself writing more description. that's how my dialogue went from:

"Mumbo!" Grian screamed. to

"Mumbo!" Grian screamed, dashing up to the edge of the cliff and staring down into the dark forest in despair. He couldn't lose his best friend, the man who'd been his closest companion for years through all their hardships and joys.

that wasn't a fic snippet btw lol /gen just picked a bit of dialogue to expand on. look at that right there. look at what i did and see "okay, so how do i apply this to my writing?" that's how i got here. -writing is a skill just like art (reblogfuckingFICS-). you will not be amazing right away. you will reread your past fics and cringe. but do not let that stop you. you need to write the cringe fics to see what works and what doesn't. my old fics are awful. they're a bunch of tropes written absolutely awfully. but i wouldn't be the writer i am today without writing. you've gotta write to get better at writing! so go for it! don't worry about people disliking what you're doing. writing advice tl;dr - write what you want, for yourself, don't be discouraged at failure, watch what the popular writers are doing and see if you can do that, and above all Keep Writing Your Way
