Sam using a piece of technology to zoom in on his face every time the scene got juicy on his audition, Assad sneaking into the theater he worked at to audition (he was reading Santiago's play scene) while there was event happening on another one of their stages (the building had three stages)... These actors are not only possessed by the spirit of the characters, but starting to share one brain cell too lmao.

Jealous Gale Pt. 2

Ahh! 💖 Thank you so much for answering my plea from my Jealous Gale post!

For reference, so they are all together one location, here are Gale’s comments on Astarion and Shadowheart:

Gale: “He has a certain charm about him, Astarion does. Then again, so does a tiger when it purrs.”

Gale: “There’s something…unspeakable about Shadowheart. But I mean that in a good way. She seems to me like a bud on the cusp of bursting into a rose. That, or deadly nightshade.”

Now, having read all of them together, I have to say that the wine really did enable Gale to unleash some scorching verbal fireballs 😂 (did he have go SO hard on Wyll?? 🤯 Good lord sir, that man is a sweetie pie, how could you!)

But also, seeing all these together, there’s one thing I’m noticing that I hadn’t even thought about before…

All of these criticisms are about how the other romance companions would make ‘unsafe’ / ‘unfit��� romantic partners (even Gale’s criticism of Wyll—though it’s less ominous than the others—is about the danger of overconfidence / self-aggrandizement).

If Gale just wanted to prove that he’s a ‘better’ choice, he could have boasted about himself, and pointed out that the others can’t ‘wow’ Tav with magic like he can, etc. But instead, he chose to focus on how dangerous the others are…

…because he has a bomb in his chest. And he knows he’s the riskiest romantic partner of all. One who can’t even kiss Tav (even though he desperately wants to) because it’s too much ‘excitement’.

So…the only way he has a chance with Tav is if he convinces them that the others are just as dangerous as he is.

Day 2: What if Ash Didn't Steal Misty's Bike?

Since I drew them dancing last year, I decided to switch the theme for Day 2 to a What If scenario. Honestly, it was pretty easy in concept as we know how much Misty immediately cared for Pikachu's wellbeing while giving Ash all the scolding he (more or less) deserved.

I imagine the conversation here is going something like:

Misty: "What in the world did you do to piss off all those Spearow?!"

Ash: "It's a long story! Let's just focus on getting away from them, alright??"

Misty: "Well, whatever you did, I hope you learned your lesson!"

Ash: "Yeah, yeah, I know!"

This may be a silly question with an easy to find answer but I'm not sure how to find what I'm looking for. On Genius there are quotes supposedly from Spinefarms website about the official descriptions for the songs on Sundowning, but not all the songs have these quoted and I'm not sure how to find the quotes that are missing. Do you know where they can be found?

Anon I’m so sorry 😭 You asked this back in August and I kept meaning to ask some of my friends and then September and October happened and now it’s November and I am super late, I’m sorry.

So the descriptions you’re looking for were removed from Spinefarm’s website a while back. I had an internet wizard check and Spinefarm's website didn't have descriptions for each song; for example The Night Does Not Belong to God had a definition for the term Sundowning instead (literally taken from the Wikipedia page in 2019 lol).

The descriptions, for anyone wondering, are the following:

The Night Does Not Belong to God: "Sundowning, or sundown syndrome, is a neurological phenomenon associated with increased confusion and restlessness in patients with delirium or some form of dementia. Most commonly associated with Alzheimer's disease, but also found in those with other forms of dementia, the term "sundowning" was coined due to the timing of the patient's confusion. For patients with sundowning syndrome, a multitude of behavioral problems begin to occur in the evening or while the sun is setting..."
