Lena could feel the weight in her hand. A little extra swing in her fist as she walked, sending a jolt up her arm as she jogged up the steps to Kara’s apartment. She’d decided to walk today, to clear her head a little as she went to see her best friend. She had a lot on her mind lately- usual Luthor stuff like defusing random death traps that Lex left behind, fending off attempts to dethrone her as CEO and challenge her status as he brother’s heir, and cures for intractable diseases and solutions for the energy crisis and thorny ethical issues around the advance project department’s latest AI experiments… and Kara.
Kara was on her mind. She had a way of sneaking into Lena’s mind at the most inopportune moments, like a board meeting, or a symposium, or her TED talk. It was really a TEDx talk; the organization wasn’t *quite* ready to invite Lena to the real deal, no matter how many photo ops she did with Supergirl or cancer research facilities she paid for. That didn’t stop Kara from following her around saying “thanks for listening to my Ted talk” for three weeks after the fact.
She had been thinking about Kara so much that it had finally been noticed. Sam flew in from Metropolis earlier that week for a catch up lunch, and as usual, after business was handled they shared a bottle of wine and things grew informal.
“Lena,” Sam said. “I’ve been talking for five minutes and you’ve been holding that glass of rosé and staring at it for the entire time. What’s going on?”
Lena almost dropped the glass when she heard her name. “Oh, right. Yes. Wine.”
She took a sip, hoping Sam would drop her question, but she persisted.
“I know that look. You were miles away. What is it? Did the cure for cancer pop into your head?”
“No,” Lena said. “It’s nothing, I was just lost in thought.”
“Mmm,” said Sam. “I’m sure.”
“What?”
Sam smiled enigmatically and finished her wine. “I’d better get going. I’m taking a red eye back to Metropolis.”
“Sam, you’re flying on a Lexcorp charter. It doesn’t work that way.”
Sam snorted and left Lena sitting there, wondering what that was about. Of course she’d been daydreaming about Kara, about her hands specifically- she’d nodded off last weekend and woke to see Kara at her ease, brow furrowed and hands moving wildly as she painted something. Lena had remained still and watched, fascinated by Kara’s hands, the skill and dexterity she showed.
It was that day that Kara had passed her the key she now carried in her hand. A key to Kara’s apartment. Unfettered access. Lena didn’t have to knock (she would anyway) and could stop by when Kara wasn’t even there. She hadn’t said anything but she’d been holding back tears the entire ride home; Lena had no problems with *access*, but trust was another matter. That was what the key was. It was a talisman of trust, Kara’s confidence in her given form.
Lena did knock before she turned the key and swung the door open. She was expected, but part of her worried that Kara wouldn’t be alone. It seemed odd to Lena that Kara hadn’t started dating again- her best friend had taken the whole Mon-El thing very poorly, and it was bizarre to begin with, so Lena understood why she’d stay single for a while, but it had been years.
Years of kindling a soft, secret hope, a desire so fragile and so brittle that Lena rarely dared think of it, afraid that the tiniest brush of longing would crumble it and with it break something inside her permanently.
The apartment smelled like cookies. Burnt cookies. Kara was in the kitchen, brow furrowed, bent in concentration over a cookbook, eyes darting to a mixing bowl. Foul smelling attempted cookies practically filled the garbage can.
“Hey,” Kara said, cheerfully. She gave Lena a soft, gentle smile that seemed only for her, and brushed a loose gold curl from her eyes. “You’re early.”
“I wanted more Kara time,” said Lena. “I was hoping to get a few minutes alone with you before the few shows up. Just us.”
Kara looked at her curiously, then turned to her project.
“I can’t get this right. I cream the sugar like it says, but they keep coming out wrong.”
Lena moved closer, stopping her hand from seeking the small of Kara’s back. When she saw the carton of cream on the counter, she busted out laughing so hard she snorted.
“What?” said Kara.
“Darling, you don’t put actual cream in it. Here, let me help you.”
For the next half hour, Lena and Kara made cookie dough, laboriously, by hand. Every step brought them closer together, literally. By the time they were scooping out evenly sized blobs of it together, they were hip to hip, both floured and sugared, hands greasy with butter.
“I’ll pop them in the oven,” said Kara. “You go clean up and relax.”
“Alright,” Lena said.
She ended up on the couch. Game night would begin hours later, and Lena turned on a nature documentary. (She had her own distinct username on Kara’s Netflix.)
Lena must have dozed off, because the alarm on the oven, along with a warm, pleasant, homey smell, woke her up. She padded on her stocking feet into the kitchen to see how the cookies came out.
Kara had already taken them out and was holding the tray, hot from the oven. Something was off. It nagged at Lena’s mind.
Then it hit her. Kara seemed to realize at the same time.
She wasn’t wearing oven mitts. No heating pad. Not even a dish towel. Kara was holding the hot tray, fresh from the oven, in her bare hands.
Lena yelped. “Kara! You’ll burn yourself!”
Kara started to move. A cry rose on her lips, then died. She stared at Lena with such softness, her eyes full of hesitation, but more than that, a kind of longing that echoed Lena’s own soul.
“I’m tired of lying to you,” Kara said, still holding the tray. “It doesn’t hurt. I can barely feel it.”
They stood for a frozen moment that lasted an eternity, the truth just on the wrong side of revealing itself. Lena already knew, but she didn’t want to acknowledge it. Say it.
“You’re Supergirl,” Lena whispered, soft and breathy.
Kara nodded, starting to choke up. She put the tray down almost violently and stepped back.
“I’ll understand if you need time, if you’re angry, if you don’t want to continue our friendship-“
She didn’t finish her ramble. Lena crossed the space between them in three quick steps, firmly took Kara’s face between her palms, and kissed her.
Pure terror gripped her. What if she was wrong? What if this was a mistake? Why wasn’t Kara moving, responding, reacting?
That question responded when hands that could crush diamonds moved her her body with surpassing tenderness, turning the awkward kiss into something more, Kara guiding Lena as their bodies molded together and Kara kissed her back with hopeful desperation, drawing it out as if she was afraid to let it end for fear it might never be repeated.
It was, intimately and immediately. Lena was shocked but pleased when Kara let Lena push her back against the counter, bending her back lightly, almost climbing her. Kara almost shocked Lena when her hand slid up her side and found her breast even as Lena grabbed a double handful of steely buns and squeezed.
Then someone coughed and they jerked apart.
Alex stood by the door, arms folded.
“I’m going to go ahead and text the others so they know game night is cancelled,” she said, smirking. “Next time, hang a sock on the doorknob or something.”
“This is my house,” said Kara.
Alex rolled her eyes. “I’m leaving now.”
As the door slammed shut, and Alex could plainly be heard blurting, “Jesus Christ,” Lena turned back to Kara.
“Should we talk?” she said, her voice small. “What is this? What are we doing?”
Kara swallowed, hard. “What do you want it to be, Lena?”
Lena couldn’t answer. She just stared.
“I know what I want it to be,” said Kara. “I want us to be an us. I’m so tired of wanting you so bad it hurts, but being scared to touch you a certain way or look too long or too openly or be afraid I’ll say the wrong thing. I’m tired of hiding so much from you.”
Lena licked her lips.
“The truth is, I’ve wanted you for years.”
Kara’s gorgeous eyes lit up with unbridled delight, and with shocking quickness, Kara had Lena in a bridal carry. Lena instinctively curled up in her arms, practically wrapping herself around Kara’s body.
“What do you want to do now?” said Kara. “I don’t know how to do this part, Lena.”
Lena smiled. “I think what you do now is carry me back in the bedroom and cream your sugar.”
“You want to make more cookies? Why… oh.”
“Oh indeed,” said Lena.
Lena didn’t make a habit of it, but this one time, she let Kara talk her into cookies for breakfast.

Truth or dare
Word count: 10.3k
Pairing: Kung Lao x F!Reader
A/N: I have done it !!! I have completed my Kung Lao fic, I hope it feeds you all well. It has a lot of dialogue but I think it’s fun, enjoy !!! <33
Summary: Living with both Raiden and Kung Lao is a lot of fun but it can be exhausting, especially since Kung Lao likes to play stupid games.
Warnings: 18+ only, lots of dialogue, smut, dirty talk, fingering, cunnilingus, p in v sex, no use of y/n, I think that’s all !!!
Today you have already been to work and done your shift, but that doesn’t mean you’re free from being there, Kung Lao and Raiden love madam Bo’s and you do too but having just finished a shift here and then staying as a customer is worrisome for you. Every time you’re here on your own time you get nervous about being asked to cover for someone or work an extra hour, it’s only happened a handful of times in all your years of working here but still, the fear lingers.
“Hey, you with us?” Kung Lao snaps his fingers in front of your face.
You’ve been staring at him mindlessly, not even taking in anything he was doing or saying, “Yeah, sorry.”
Raiden asks you, “Are you okay?”
“I’m fine, just thinking.” You give him a polite smile.
“Worrying more like,” Kung Lao amends.
“Was not,” was too.
He argues, “You were, had your worried expression on and everything.”
“Whatever,” you huff.
“Leave her alone Kung Lao,” Raiden is always taking your side when it comes to things like this.
Kung Lao rolls his eyes at the pair of you, “Always teaming up on me,” he exaggerates.
“We do not,” your eyebrows pinch at him.
He whines slightly, “You do, always making me do the dishes and chores–”
“–Maybe if you did them when you are supposed to, we would not have to tell you to do them,” Raiden interjects.
“You’re complaining because we ask you to do your fair share at home?” You clarify.
“See?? You’re teaming up on me right now,” he sighs and shakes his head.
“I’m getting sick of you,” your tone is teasing but you keep a straight face.
Kung Lao’s hand moves to his chest in faux hurt at your statement.
“Should we kick him out?” Raiden joins your teasing.
Nodding solemnly, you say, “I think we might have to.”
Kung Lao gasps, “What the hell guys?”
Both you and Raiden are giving each other very sombre looks, pretending to be so sad about the loss of Kung Lao from your household.
“Guys?” Kung Lao’s tone is worried.
You look to him with your brows raised, “Are you gonna do your chores without being asked?”
He looks away in thought, “I mean… maybe?”
You shake your head at him and direct you attention to Raiden, “Lost cause,” you sigh.
“Indeed,” Raiden nods at you in agreeance.
“Okay, I do not like this joke anymore,” Kung Lao says.
Raiden and yourself break and start laughing at him.
“I do not like when you guys do that,” Kung Lao complains in reference to yours and Raiden’s ability to immediately pick up on the others joke and play along completely seriously.
You shrug at him, “I think it’s funny.”
He scowls back at you.
“Lighten up,” Raiden pats his back.
“One of you is paying for lunch,” he’s taking advantage of the situation.
Rolling your eyes at him you say, “I will pay.”
“I will pay,” Raiden argues with you.
Kung Lao turns to him, “You never offer to pay when it’s just us.”
“Because you eat a lot, plus, she paid last time,” Raiden shakes his head at him.
“I’m fine to pay again, I don’t mind.”
“I mind,” Raiden counters.
“As long as I’m not paying, I do not mind,” Kung Lao jokes.
“We won’t make you pay; you have to keep your money for the new place you’ll be getting after we kick you out,” you jest.
Raiden chuckles at you but Kung Lao makes an unhappy face.
“Don’t pout Kung Lao, I’m just kidding,” you wonder if you took it too far.
Raiden warns, “He’s baiting you, do not feel bad for him.”
“Raiden, I could’ve convinced her to do my chores for me or something, always ruining things for me,” he whinges.
“You would think she’d have learnt by now not to feel bad for you,” Raiden languishes.
“I am right here,” you interrupt.
Living with them has taken years off your lifespan, you think.
Pointing as you say, “The day I do your chores for you is the day I die, Kung Lao.”
He lets out an over-the-top groan, throwing his head back.
“Okay, enough theatrics,” Raiden says, ending the direction of the conversation.
It’s good that he did, because Kung Lao and yourself would sit here all day going back and forth with the other. The both of you seemingly incapable of ending the bit, always bouncing off the other, increasing the drama of the situation until one of you pretends to feel hurt and the other apologises. It’s not a particularly harmful thing for either of you but the never ending back and forth between the two of you harms Raiden, in the way that he gets exhausted just watching the two of you. Quite frankly, it’s worse at home, the two of you at least try to behave out in public, or you do anyways.
You look to Raiden and give him your best begging eyes, “Please don’t kick me out.”
“Stop that!” Kung Lao points at you.
“Stop what?” You ask.
He frowns, “Stop being cute to get your way.”
“Dunno what you’re talking about,” you shrug, feigning innocence.
Raiden rolls his eyes at the both of you, “I think I might move out.”
“You can’t leave me alone with him!” You protest, lowering your voice as you say, “I’d accidentally get him wet after midnight and he’d eat me or something.”
Kung Lao takes in a breath, ready to say something but Raiden stops him, “Do not say whatever it is you are planning to.”
He deflates at Raiden’s words, sighing, “You never let me have any fun.”
“For good reason,” he retorts.
Raiden pays Madam Bo for lunch and you’re all heading home, filling the rest of the day with miscellaneous activities. Mostly, you stay in your room and read, invested in the current romance novel you bought the other day.
In the time that you’re reading the sun sets and the front door closing brings you back to the real world, you decide it might be time that you exit your room and see what’s happened in your absence.
As you enter the living area you only see Raiden, “Where’s Kung Lao?” You ask.
Looking up to you, he replies, “He’s got that date tonight, remember?”
You walk over to him and sit down, “I had forgotten, he met her at Madam Bo’s, didn’t he?”
He nods at you, “Yeah, last week.”
Humming, you say, “A girl who has seen Kung Lao eat and agrees to a date with him is a brave girl indeed.”
Raiden chuckles at your words.
You don’t have any feelings in particular towards Kung Lao going on a date tonight, or any night really. Predominantly because he never really dates them; he goes out and either gets lucky or comes home and complains about how something they did was annoying or weird. Last time, she didn’t like tea and he thought that was a red flag and never saw her again.
“I am bored,” you whinge.
Raiden huffs at you, amused, “What do you want to do?”
“Scrabble?”
“I do not like playing scrabble against you,” he says.
You know why he doesn’t like playing against you, but you ask anyways, “Why not?”
“You take it too seriously,” he shakes his head at you.
“Please,” you pout at him, hands clasped together.
He rolls his head, sighing, “Fine, but only if you try to be normal about it.”
“If you didn’t play stupid words this wouldn’t be an issue,” you retort.
He pinches the bridge of his nose, “You’re already starting.”
“I’m sorry! I’ll behave, promise.” You give him your most innocent smile.
“Okay, go get the board.” He speaks.
“Yes!” You get up to go get the board from your room, briefly you think of how much of a sucker he is.
When you come back, you set it up at the table, the both of you sit across from each other. The beginning of the game goes well, you’re pretty close in score for a while but as you both play against one another, you find it increasingly difficult to be normal. He always plays stupid words but the one he’s just put down makes you want to reach over and strangle him.
Your eye twitches as you say, “’Ax’ is not a valid scrabble word.”
“It is.” is all he says in response.
“No, and if it is, it is wrong because ‘ax’ should have an ‘e’ on the end of it to be a word.” You’re restraining yourself from getting upset about this but there is no way that is a scrabble word.
“Go get the scrabble dictionary if you don’t believe me,” he shrugs at you.
Squinting at him in scrutiny, you get up and go get the book.
Once you’ve sat back down in front of him, you flick through the pages to determine if it’s valid or not. When you find it, you are more than upset.
“Did you find it?” He asks, his voice already laced with victory.
Scowling at him, you say, “Yes… I still don’t think it should be a word though.”
“Why not?”
You’re a bit frantic as you explain, “It literally defines an axe with an ‘e’, it shouldn’t be allowed as ax when axe is spelled as axe and is also a valid scrabble word, you can’t have two words spelt differently with the same definition.”
He shakes his head at you, “Are you even trying to be normal about this?”
“I am putting in so much effort, be grateful.” His stupid word is stupid and outrageous.
“Fair enough, I am grateful.” He smiles at you; you’re frowning at him.
Taking a deep breath, you give him his stupid twenty-four points, since he got a stupid triple word score with his stupid two letter made up word.
It’s not long after that when Kung Lao walks in through the front door. He sees you both playing scrabble and remarks, “You guys are like two old people in a nursing home.”
You ignore his comparison, “You’re home early,” you comment, not looking at him, instead staring intently at the board.
Raiden is putting down his next word and you swear to God if it’s something ridiculous, you’re flipping the board. He’s currently 20 points ahead, and he’s only winning because of his bullshit word.
Kung Lao walks over to you both and stands behind you, watching over your shoulder. He winces at your letters because how do you currently not have a single consonant.
“She wouldn’t stop talking about her ex, it was weird,” Kung Lao explains. “Babe, I’m sorry but you have the worst letters right now.”
You turn around and slap at him, “I know that, thank you babe,” you huff out at him, you didn’t need his commentary.
“You never call me babe,” Raiden directs at Kung Lao jokingly and you chuckle at him.
You abruptly stop laughing and say to him, “Don’t make me laugh, I am so annoyed at you right now.”
“Why do you keep agreeing to play scrabble with each other? It never ends well.” Kung Lao states. “By the way, one of you spelt axe wrong,” he observes.
“See? Even Kung Lao thinks it’s wrong!” You point at Raiden accusatorily.
“I don’t think it’s wrong, that is objectively spelt wrong,” comes Kung Lao’s reply.
Raiden opens the dictionary and shoves it in his face, “It is right there, it is legal!”
“How many points did you get for it?” Kung Lao asks, squinting at the book to read it.
“Twenty-four,” you grit out.
Raiden is proud as he says, “I got a triple word score.”
You’re seething in your seat; you still haven’t gotten over it.
“Who’s winning?” He asks.
You feel like you might strain yourself, “He is, by twenty points.”
Kung Lao cringes, “Yikes.” He puts a hand on your shoulder, “Try not to flip the board.”
“I’m not going to flip the board.”
“You did that one time I played against you,” he reminds.
“Because cwm shouldn’t be a word,” you pout.
“It is though,” he shrugs at you.
“It shouldn’t be though!” You scowl at him, “Still annoyed about that.”
“And that’s why I won’t play scrabble with you anymore,” he tells you.
“You guys act like I am the crazy one, you’re the ones putting down stupid words,” you whinge.
Kung Lao places his hand on top of your head and shakes you lightly. You slap him away, “Stop it.”
He chuckles at you and moves across the room to flop onto the couch.
“Did it not go well?” Raiden asks, looking at his letters.
Kung Lao looks at him with his brows raised, “Are you deaf or something? I said before, she spoke about her ex the whole time, it was uncomfortable.”
“Ah that is right, sorry, I am distracted.” Raiden’s reply is dismissive, trying to determine his next move.
You snicker at the both of them; you find their interactions funny.
“I am sorry about your stroke of bad luck Kung Lao,” you look at him pitifully.
His eyebrows frown at you, “What do you mean?”
Raiden answers for you, “Every date you go on at the moment, you either strike out or there is something “wrong” with her.” He uses finger quotes on his use of ‘wrong’.
“That is not true,” Kung Lao protests.
“Mmmm yes, it is,” you counter.
He huffs, laying back down, “Whatever, when’s the last time either of you got any?”
You decide to make a stupid joke, “Earlier, we did it while you were gone,” you keep your voice even and steady, trying to be convincing. You lightly kick at Raiden under the table, asking him to play along.
Raiden looks to you, his face straight as he says, “Yup, was great, real hot.”
Hearing Raiden say that almost makes you lose it laughing on the spot, but you soldier on.
At what you’ve both ‘confessed’ to, Kung Lao shoots up on the couch and looks between the two of you, “Actually?!”
“Yeah, best I ever had,” you say, Raiden looks like he might injure himself across from you.
Kung Lao is in disbelief, “You guys have to be joking, there’s no way!”
You nod your head very seriously, “There is, it was the only way Raiden would play scrabble with me.”
“Mhm, yeah, that was my condition.” Raiden confirms.
“I’m about to lose my mind, what the hell?” Kung Lao’s tone seems like he’s stressing himself out. “Why would you– I mean– with Raiden???” His attention is completely on you, he looks lost and maybe a little upset? You aren’t sure.
You smile at him, your lips shaking with how much you’re trying to contain your laughter.
“She is joking,” Raiden says, ending the joke quicker than you usually would.
“Boo, why’d you tell him so soon,” you complain.
Raiden looks over to Kung Lao, “Because he looks like he’s about to pass out.”
The both of you are lightly chuckling at the whole thing, Kung Lao looks confused.
“So, you two didn’t sleep together?” He asks, pointing between the two of you.
“Not tonight,” you tease.
“WHAT?” He exclaims.
Raiden clarifies, “Not any night.”
You give Raiden a thumbs down in response, he’s ruining your fun.
“I think I just aged twenty years,” Kung Lao says, “I need to lay down,” he lays himself back down on the couch, being overdramatic as usual.
You shake your head at him, “Why would you care anyways?”
“I have rights,” is his ominous response.
Your eyebrows pull together at his odd behaviour, “You sure do, buddy.”
“Alright, play your word, I want to end this game,” Raiden says, bringing your attention back to scrabble.
Sadly, you lose to him by ten points, and you feel cheated. His stupid word is what got him the win. You object to him about it, but he ignores you, too pleased in himself with his bullshit win.
“I am never playing scrabble with you ever again,” you huff, crossing your arms and slumping back in your chair.
Kung Lao calls out to you, “You say that every time you lose to one of us.”
“And then you get bored and beg us to play against you,” Raiden finishes.
“I do not beg,” you sulk.
Raiden reminds you, “You did earlier, said you’d behave and everything.”
“What? Every time she asks me, I get threatened, not begged.” Kung Lao complains from over on the couch.
You shrug at him, “You aren’t as much of a sucker as Raiden.”
“I’ll remember that you have just said that,” Raiden says.
Smiling sweetly at him you reply, “I’m sorry.”
He smiles at you faintly, immediately forgiving you, “It’s fine.”
“You are a sucker,” Kung Lao directs at Raiden.
You laugh at the both of them, “Alright, I’m going to bed, good night.” You get up from your seat and start walking down the hall to your room.
“Wait,” Kung Lao calls to you, making you stop where you’re standing.
You wait for him to continue, he lifts his forearm off his eyes to look at you, “Are you working tomorrow?”
“Yeah, in the evening though,” you inform him.
“Alright, good night,” he says.
“Good night,” Raiden says as well.
You hum to the both of them and wander off to bed for the evening.
ᖭི༏ᖫྀ
The next day when you wake up, they are both gone, already having started their days while you slept. There isn’t much you feel like you can do currently, feeling stuck in waiting mode for your shift at work. It isn’t for another handful of hours that you have to get ready, but you don’t feel like you can do anything in the meantime. So, instead of going out, you stay home and read some more, do some odd cleaning, and get upset remembering how you lost at scrabble last night.
They both probably won’t play against you for a couple months now since you got pretty close to flipping the board last night. It doesn’t matter though, when they won’t play you, Madam Bo does, and she at least uses real words. She’s the one who taught you to play, and she doesn’t appreciate their stupid words either, so it’s always nice to play with her. Preferable even.
As you watch the sun hang low in the sky you think it’s about time to get ready for work, you consider taking the scrabble board with you but ultimately decide against it. Staying late to play scrabble isn’t something you want to do tonight, maybe if you had a day shift instead. Next time, you think.
As you walk into work you take note that it is busy-ish, busier than usual, it’s the end of the week and people are hungry, coming here to treat themselves instead of cooking at home. Which is good… just means there is more for you to do.
It’s towards the tail end of your shift when Raiden and Kung Lao walk in, sitting in their usual spot. You realise now, Kung Lao asked you last night when you were working so they could come in during your shift. They usually walk back with you if they’re in the area but if you’re working a later shift one or both of them will come in towards your finishing time so they can walk you home.
It’s sweet that they do, it’s also handy because sometimes the customers will relentlessly flirt with you or wait until you finish the shift and try to hook up with you afterwards. Having Kung Lao and Raiden here prevents that from happening, though, it’d be better if you being uninterested and saying no was enough.
As you make your way over to their table, you get stopped by a familiar face, he’s a regular you haven’t really interacted much with.
“Hey…” His voice gets awkward as you stop in front of him, like he wasn’t expecting you to pay attention to him. He’s kinda cute, in an awkward and shy sort of way.
“May I help you?” You ask, in customer service mode.
He scratches at the back of his head awkwardly, “Uhm yes… well not like, I don’t need help… I um… wanted to tell you how pretty you are…” He’s stumbling over his words and blushing insanely hard. It’s endearing.
You’re kind of into it, thinking back to what Kung Lao said last night you realise it has been a while since you got any action, dating and otherwise.
“Thank you, that’s really sweet of you to say,” you smile politely at him, okay so you’re a little rusty on the flirting front too.
He looks a little shocked at your openness to his clumsy flirting, “…Would you, like to go on a date? With me? Some day?”
You go to reply to him, but Kung Lao has walked up to you, “You know, it’s kinda rude to leave customers waiting, babe.”
“Give me a minute,” you look at him, frowning politely, trying to get him to understand that he needs to leave… right now.
“Oh, are you guys… together?” The cute stranger asks.
You say, “No.”
As Kung Lao says, “Yes.”
You look at him dubiously, confused by what he’s doing.
The man sitting at the table looks even more confused than you do, “I’m really sorry, I’m lost,” he says.
You exhale before speaking to Kung Lao, “Go sit down, I’ll be at your table shortly.”
He looks at you, gaze scrutinizing. You have no idea what’s gotten into him, this is the first time he’s interrupted you while with a customer. Normally if you need help, you handle it yourself or look to them, but you didn’t prompt his help.
He huffs slightly as he walks back over to the table, Raiden mouths ‘sorry’ at you, feeling badly for not being able to stop Kung Lao. You make a note to yourself to ask Kung Lao what he was thinking just now.
“I am so sorry, that was my roommate,” you direct your attention back to the shy man in front of you.
He looks relieved, “That’s okay… so, um… about going on a date? With me?”
“I think I’d like that,” you say.
The both of you exchange names and numbers and you say goodbye to him, needing to get back to work. Which means going over to Kung Lao and Raiden’s table.
Walking up to them, you ask, “Are you guys ready to order?” You’re using your customer service voice on them.
“Don’t be mad,” Kung Lao moans.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about, sir. I’m just here to take your order,” you reply, tense smile on your face.
He turns to look at Raiden, pleading, “Do something.”
“I would like some tea,” Raiden smiles at you, trying to avoid worsening the situation.
“What kind?” You ask.
“Surprise me,” he’s being tugged on by Kung Lao but is ignoring him.
You nod and go to turn around but Kung Lao tugs on your apron, causing you to stop and look at him, “Yes?”
“I am sorry,” he mumbles, letting go of your apron.
Grabbing the top of his head and making him look at you, you tell him, “You better be, you embarrassed me.” You let go of his head, patting it once.
“I didn’t mean to…” he frowns at you, smoothing his hair back.
You hum your reply, “Mhm, I’m so sure.”
Raiden asks, “Did he ask you out?”
You nod at him, “Yeah, we exchanged numbers.”
Kung Lao makes a face of displeasure, prompting you to ask, “What is wrong now?”
“Nothing,” he shrugs at you, “Just thought he was weird.”
“He was nice,” you counter.
He immediately asks you, “Why are you even interested in him?”
You consider your answer, “He’s cute, and seems nice.”
Raiden is exasperated with the two of you, choosing to check out of the conversation. Looking away from the pair of you, suddenly finding the wall very interesting.
“People always hit on you, you never give them your number,” Kung Lao recounts.
Shrugging at him as you say, “You’re the one who’s always saying I never get out.”
“It’s not like that’s a bad thing,” he retorts.
You roll your eyes at him, this conversation is going nowhere, “Whatever, I’m done talking about this. Do you want some tea?”
He folds his arms over his chest, pouting slightly, “Yes.”
“Okay,” you chuckle a little at his response, finding his sulking cute.
Turning around you go to get their tea. They’re only buying something so that they can stay until you finish your shift, which looking at the clock, you have less than an hour left of it.
The rest of your shift goes by quickly, which you’re thankful for. You’re ready to get into bed, tomorrow is the beginning of the weekend and it’ll be the first one you have off in a while. Lately, you’ve been covering all the weekend shifts. Madam Bo is low on staff and the staff that she does have other than you, don’t want to work the weekend shifts.
Picking up the slack doesn’t bother you that much, but you have been experiencing some burn out lately, overworking yourself a little. Which Madam Bo noticed and refused to let you come in this weekend.
When you are ready to leave, Kung Lao and Raiden are waiting for you out the front.
You come up from behind them, “Thank you, for walking me back,” you tell them, grateful that they both care for you.
“You are welcome,” Raiden says, smile polite.
Kung Lao pats your head, “You attract weirdos, someone has to walk you home.” He jokes.
You’re rolling your eyes at him as you flick his hand off your head, “Not nice.”
“Sorry,” he apologises quickly, “It’s not your fault.”
You hum at him, “It’s fine.”
The three of you begin your walk home, the stars are beautiful, there’s so many of them out here. As you walk in between the two of them, you feel an overwhelming affection for them both, your hands slip into theirs; holding both of them at the same time and swinging them back and forth.
They both allow it, letting you have your moment.
ᖭི༏ᖫྀ
With the late finish last night and your recent exhaustion, you sleep in until later in the day. You wake up confused and lost, like you’ve lost ten years or something. Blearily, you look at the clock on your wall, it’s one in the afternoon. You think? You’re having a hard time comprehending the minute and hour hands on the clock right now.
Getting out of bed, you wander through the house, looking for one of the other two. Raiden isn’t anywhere to be found but Kung Lao is sitting in the lounge, snacking.
“You’re finally up,” he observes as you shuffle into the lounge. You feel like a corpse, “Geez, are you okay?” He asks you.
Shaking your head at him is your response, you don’t feel like talking yet.
He pats the cushion beside him for you to sit on. Which you do, shuffling forward and collapsing into it, knocking into him on your way down.
“Is it after one?” You ask him.
“If by after one you mean it’s two, then yeah,” he chuckles at you lightly, “You sure you’re good?”
“Mm fine, why didn’t you wake me?”
“You have been overworking yourself, figured you could use the extra sleep,” he shrugs at you.
You grunt at him, “I feel like I’ve been in a coma.”
“You look like it too,” he teases, putting his snack off to the side.
The expression on your face is one of displeasure at his comment, you move past it though, instead asking him, “Where’s Raiden?”
“I dunno, out doing stuff?” His response is unconcerned.
Shaking your head at him you say, “You didn’t ask him?”
“Nah,” he’s still unbothered.
You can’t tell if he’s not curious enough or if you’re too nosey. “You need to ask more questions.”
“Maybe you need to ask less,” he retorts.
You roll your eyes at him and get up, retreating back to your room, “I’m going back to my room.” You tell him, choosing to change and freshen up slightly.
“Okay,” he hums at you thoughtlessly.
He doesn’t leave you alone for long though. You’re reading on your stomach in bed when he knocks on your door, he’s only been alone for twenty minutes but he knows you’re awake now and he likes company.
“Come in,” you call to him.
He walks in and flops down on his back next to you on your bed, “I’m bored,” he complains.
“When aren’t you?”
He just groans at you in response.
You’re exasperated when you ask, “What am I meant to do about it?”
His head turns to the side to smile at you, “I am so glad you asked.”
It’s your turn to groan now, you regret asking just from the look on his face.
“I wanna play a game,” he informs you.
“What kind of game,” you ask, voice laced with your uncertainty.
His smile turns just slightly evil, “Truth or dare.”
You drop your head into your mattress between your arms, your hands are still holding your book, “Isn’t that a game for a bunch of horny teens?”
He takes your book from your hands and chucks it to the floor; you pop your head up to look at him, “Hey!” You protest, “don’t break my book about it.”
“It’s a way for us to get to know each other better,” He argues against your prior question.
You side eye him as you say, “I already know far too much about you.”
“Come on, I’m bored,” he whinges.
“Kung Lao, this is a dumb game, if you wanna know things about me, just ask.”
He rolls his eyes at you, uninterested in your suggestion, “That is boring, plus in truth or dare you have to tell the truth, it’s the law.”
“Are you going to be annoying about this if I refuse?” You ask, already knowing that he is.
“Probably,” he shrugs.
Your face drops back into the mattress, “Fine.”
He celebrates, “Nice! Okay, I’ll be nice and you can ask first.”
“Truth or dare?” You drone into the fabric of the bed, voice muffled.
“Truth,” he answers.
“Lame,” you tease, “I dunno what to ask you.”
“Anything you want, free reign,” he says, eyes looking to your ceiling.
You whine into the bed, “Too much power.”
“You are such a wuss,” he chortles at you.
“Shut up,” you think on it a bit longer, “Mmmm, oh okay! Why did you interrupt me and that guy last night?”
“Dumb question,” he criticises.
You look to him, head still flat to the mattress, “Gotta answer, your rules.”
He scowls at your roof, “Didn’t like him.”
“Why not?”
He tuts at you, “You gotta wait till the next round if you want to know,” he looks to you, both your faces are close to each other, “Truth or dare.”
“Truth,” you answer.
He hums as he thinks of a question, his gaze mischievous as he settles on what he wants to ask, “How many people have you slept with?”
“Dare,” you change your answer and lay your face back into mattress.
“You can’t do that,” he’s laughing at you.
You mumble to him, “I just did.”
“Fine, I dare you to answer my question then.”
“You are such a loser,” you protest, sighing as you answer, “One.”
“I was expecting a higher number,” he says.
“Sorry I’m not a whore like you,” you tease.
“I like being a whore, thank you very much.”
You hum to him, not interested in actually answering him, “Truth or dare?”
“Dare.” He answers, you look to him and he’s smiling cheekily at you, premeditating that you were probably going to ask him the same question and trying to avoid it.
“This is not fun,” you whine.
He purses his lips at you, “I am having fun.”
“’Course you are.”
“Just give me the dare already,” his hand taps your shoulder blade.
You decide to play the same way he did with you, “I dare you to tell me when the last time you got laid was.” You’re hoping to give him a taste of his own medicine, perhaps make him uncomfortable but you aren’t that lucky.
“Probably… a month, maybe.” He answers with no hesitation, “I see you have lowered yourself to my level,” he laughs at you, pleased by you using his same strategy.
“I have so many regrets,” your face is still pushed into the sheets, you’re refusing to look at him.
“I miss sex,” he sighs.
“I’m not bothered.”
“When was the last time you had sex?”
“Not your business,” you tell him.
“You’re gonna have to answer cause that’s what I’m gonna ask you whether you pick truth or dare,” he pokes your side.
Slapping his hand you say, “I don’t know, when was my last relationship?”
“Like two years ago,” he answers for you, voice shocked.
“Calm down, it’s not that big of a deal.”
He sits up suddenly, “No wonder you don’t miss sex, you have forgotten how good it is.”
“It was never that great anyways,”
“Oh, you poor thing,” his tone is laced with pity, genuinely feeling for you, “I feel so bad for you.”
“Well stop, I’m literally fine,” you huff at him.
He rolls you onto your back and looks down at you, “Hurry up and ask me truth or dare, I have more things to ask you now.” He looks a little too excited right now.
You don’t want to know what else he wants to ask you, “I don’t think I wanna play anymore.”
“Come on! It was just getting good,” he’s staring at you very intently, it’s making you feel self-conscious.
Looking away from him and already regretting this, you ask him, “Truth or dare?”
“Truth.”
You decide to bring it back around, “Why didn’t you like the guy at Madam Bo’s?”
He scowls at your question; he seemingly doesn’t want to answer this one question.
“We could always do something else,” you try giving him an out, mostly you’re trying to give yourself an out.
He keeps eye contact with you, “No… I don’t know, I just didn’t like him or how he was looking at you.”
You feel a little warm in the face under his gaze, “What does that mean?”
He smirks at you, “Nope, my turn now, truth or dare.”
“Does it even matter what I pick at this point?”
“Nope, not really,” his eyes are alight, amused at all of this, you guess.
You give him the response he wants, “Truth.”
“Your last partner, he ever get you to finish?”
“Kind of?” you wince at your answer.
He prompts you for more information, “What does that mean?”
“I guess, technically no?” His eyes on you are piercing, he’s waiting for you to elaborate but you don’t know if you want to, “I mean, he needed… my help?”
Kung Lao’s eyes widen in understanding, “You poor woman,” he’s shaking his head pitifully at you, “Now I understand why you don’t miss it, wasn’t any different from masturbating.”
You feel beyond embarrassed now, you reach your hand up and over his mouth, “You need to stop talking.”
From under your hand, you feel his tongue lick you, “Ew! What the hell?” You sit up properly, he’s closer to you than you were expecting.
He laughs at your disgust, proud of himself.
Your eyebrows raise at him, “Can we be done with this now?”
His own eyebrows pinch in thought, “Mmm, no.”
“Kung Lao,” you whine at him, frustrated by his persistence, “If you are so bored we can play scrabble.”
“I am not playing scrabble against you anytime soon,” he shoots back, “Plus, this is way more fun.”
“For you maybe,” you mutter before collapsing back onto the mattress.
Kung Lao’s eyes trace up your body, lingering on every part of you, “Have some shame Kung Lao,” you joke.
“We could kill two birds with one stone?” He proposes.
This is already headed in a suggestive direction and being the more responsible of the two, you feel like you should shut him down.
He doesn’t let you talk though, “I miss sex and you don’t know how good it is,” his eyes are burning into yours, he’s completely serious.
“I don’t think that’s a good idea,” you tell him honestly.
“I think it’s a fantastic idea,” he presses, “I guarantee you’ll thank me after.”
Your gaze is stern as you look at him, “This could irreparably damage our friendship.” Your choice of words leave an opening for him.
“But you are considering it,” he blinks at you, ignoring your concerns and instead focusing on the small window of opportunity you unintentionally left.
Your eyebrows pull together, he just wants to get his dick wet and you’re the one here right now, “You’re working yourself up, go have a cold shower or something.”
He chuckles, “You want to die not knowing how good I am?”
You rolls your eyes at him and his cockiness, “Your ego is taking up so much room in here, why don’t I leave you alone with it?”
His hand is bold as it rests on your thigh, “I think… you are interested in what I have to offer.”
You’re trying your best to be unaffected by him but he is cute and has such strong looking arms, his biceps are defined and muscular. The hand on your thigh is large and warm, his heated gaze is hard to avoid, it’s making you warm all over.
Being touched by him is overwhelming, you haven’t been touched by someone intimately or otherwise in a long time and it’s making your skin buzz.
“Truth or dare?” He asks suddenly, pulling his hand away and sitting cross legged beside you. His eyes are still watching you.
You groan as you pull yourself up into a sitting position in front of him, mirroring the way he is sat, “I don’t think it’s your turn to ask.”
“Well, ask then,” he replies.
You huff at him, feeling confused by his actions, “Truth or dare?”
“Dare.”
“I dare you to…” you purse your lips in thought, wanting to make him uncomfortable or embarrassed like he did to you but you aren’t convinced you can.
Mindlessly, your eyes flit to his hands again, theyre resting on his knees. You can’t stop thinking about his hand on your thigh, it’s quite frankly embarrassing how touch starved you are.
One of his hands reaches out, his finger hooks under your chin and raises your eyeline back to his, he’s smirking at you, “Eyes up here, babe.” His tone is smug.
“I know,” you push his hand away.
He smiles knowingly at you, “What were you looking at?”
“Nothing, I was thinking,” you try dismissing him.
He hums at you, not convinced of your answer but letting you get away with it anyways.
“I dare you to… give me a hug.” You settle on, it’s dumb and a little self-indulgent but you haven’t been held in a long time.
Kung Lao looks dumbfounded by your dare, “If you wanted a hug you did not have to dare me for one.” His voice is amused as he speaks but his hands reach out to you and pull you into his lap so you’re straddling him.
In this position your knees rest beside his folded legs as your arms wrap around his middle, holding him to you. Kung Lao’s own large arms hold you; his embrace is firm and comforting. You think it’s a little pathetic of you to enjoy this so much but you feel very content in his hold.
“You are weird,” he hums, his chest vibrates with it.
Ignoring his comment, you enjoy the hug, he is warm and firm and you think he gives the best hugs. When you think you’ve overstayed your welcome in his arms you go to move away but he holds you to him, not letting you go.
His hands roam up and down your back in a soothing motion, “My previous offer still stands.”
He lets you pull back this time but he doesn’t allow you to leave his lap, your faces are close together and his eyes are slightly lidded as he waits for your response.
You voice your concerns, “I still don’t think that’s a good idea…”
One of his hands leaves your back and grasps the side of your face, his eyes are looking you over, lingering on your lips. His thumb traces your bottom lip lightly, his soft touch and intense gaze is making your resolve shaky.
“Tell me no, tell me that you are not interested,” his voice seems strained, laced with desire.
Your reply is hesitant, “I– it’s not about that, if this ruined our friendship… I’d never forgive myself.”
His eyes are begging you, “You can blame me then.”
Something about his borderline desperation for you is making you dizzy; his presence is surrounding you and it’s making your thoughts cloudy. The hand on your face, the other on your hip, his pleading eyes, it’s all making you want him.
Maybe hugging him was a bad idea, with how close he is now, you can’t make a well thought out decision. All you can think about is him and his soft lips and how badly you want him.
One of your own hands comes up to his face, stroking his cheek bone. Instead of replying to him, you lean in and kiss him lightly, you’re timid, unsure if this is what he really wants. He sighs against you, his mouth responds to you quickly, taking control of the kiss and holding you firmly.
His kiss is hot, and wet and it’s a lot. It’s consuming, especially when he deepens it. The way he’s kissing you makes your heart leap in your chest and the longer his lips are on yours, the more eager his kiss gets.
He has a whimper falling from you and at the sound he pulls back, the pair of you are breathless, his expression is cocky when he looks at you. The look on your face is apparently delightful to him, both his hands hold your face as he looks at you.
“You have such a pretty look on your face right now,” he purrs at you.
His words make you buzz, you’re throbbing for him and it’s annoying that he’s so smug about it. To punish him, you go to move away but his hands quickly move to your hips and pull you back to him, your pussy makes contact with his crotch. The minor contact makes you gasp.
You whine at him, “Kung Lao–”
“–Can I have you?” He cuts you off, his grip holding you to him, you can feel how hard he is under you. The size and feel of him is distracting you, you’re needy, “Pay attention,” he scolds, his own need for you is overwhelming but he needs your consent first.
“Please,” you ask. He considers you for a moment and it makes you whine at him, “What?”
“Wondering if I should make you beg for it,” he replies.
“I don’t think you could,” you dispute.
He raises an eyebrow at you, “Is that a challenge?”
Suddenly, you regret your words. He may have a large ego but there is usually a reason behind it, and unfortunately, you are touch starved and needy for him. You have no doubts that he could make you beg.
You’re serious as you say, “No.”
“That was a quick change of heart,” he smiles at you.
You look away from him, “I don’t think it would be nice of you to do…”
“It would be hot though,” he counters.
The way he’s looking at you is suggestive even with the humour in his words, you completely believe that he absolutely would tease you until you begged him for it and that it probably would be hot, but with how wet and needy you are all you want is for him to fuck you nicely.
You’re shy as you confess, “I want you, now.” You hope that if you’re honest, he’ll show mercy.
His grip on you tightens lightly, his dick jumps at your admission. Suddenly, he’s pushing you off him and onto your back, flat on the mattress. He pulls off his shirt, exposing his torso to you, the sight has your mouth watering. His muscles move under his skin with his movements, and it makes you rub your thighs together for friction. His hands urgently tug your pants and underwear off at once, his haste takes you off guard.
His hands spread your thighs open, looking down shamelessly at your wet cunt, you try to close your legs, but his hands hold you apart, “You’re so wet,” he observes, and it makes you squirm against him, he’s doing too much.
He moves his eyes off your centre and looks at your shirt, deciding he dislikes it, “That needs to come off.”
You hesitate slightly, feeling very exposed compared to him but you comply and tug it off over your head, chucking it down onto the floor. He places your thighs on his hips and then his hands travel up your body, caressing your sides, before he places both hands on the mattress either side your head.
Leaning down he lowers himself onto his forearms and takes your lips in his again, his tongue immediately in your mouth. His kiss is dirty and leaves you breathless, desperate. One of his hands touches your skin again. Moving down your body to grip at your thigh, holding you to him. He then moves his hand to touch your pussy, he slides his fingers through your wetness. The feeling has you moaning into his mouth, he swallows your sounds, kissing you hungrily.
When he pulls back, he keeps his forehead to yours. His fingers caress at you, spreading your slick around, his gaze is far away as he looks at you. Eventually he can’t take it and pulls back from you, sitting between your thighs and watching his fingers play with your cunt.
“Don’t think I have ever been with someone this wet,” he groans at you, his words make you feel embarrassed, and you try to close your legs, “It’s a good thing, babe,” he assures you, not wanting you to deprive him of the view.
His finger probes at your opening, he grunts as he pushes it into you, “Poor thing, you can barely take my finger.” His tone is filled with faux pity.
You supress a whine at the feeling of his finger entering you, his eyes are completely distracted with the way you’re sucking him in. His thumb circles your clit firmly, wanting you to relax. The stimulation makes you whimper and bite your lip.
He speaks to you, “Don’t need to be quiet, preferable if you weren’t, actually.”
“It’s –ngh– embarrassing, to be loud,” you respond.
“Who told you that?” His eyes are still watching your pussy, he’s starting to withdraw his finger, pushing it right back in, a squelching noise filling the room at his actions. The sound makes a deep groan come from him.
The feeling makes you gasp, hands covering your mouth as you moan.
“I like the sounds you make, they’re cute,” he pulls his finger out just to stuff a second in next to it, you feel full as you pulse around him.
“You wouldn’t know,” you counter.
“Hmm that’s cute… you think I can’t hear you? Late at night, shoving your fingers into your tight little pussy?” Both his fingers are working you open, fucking into you softly.
His words shock you, it’s not often that you indulge and to know he’s heard you sets your skin on fire.
“Always make such cute sounds, can hear how you try to be quiet,” he purrs to you, eyes never leaving your cunt, too involved with stretching you open. He wants you to take him, he wants you to be full of him.
When in doubt, deny, “I –hah– dunno what you’re –nghff– talking about.”
He chuckles at your flimsy lie, “Can deny all you want but I know what I hear, the way you gasp and whine is difficult to forget.” His hand moves quicker, the lewd sounds in the room getting louder with how wet his words make you.
His control right now is surprising even to him, abruptly he pulls his fingers from you and the loss makes you whine. He looks to you and then shoves his fingers, wet from you into your mouth, you suck them clean and the expression on his face looks like he’s about to fall apart in front of you.
After he retracts them slowly from your mouth, he lays on his stomach between your thighs.
“You don’t have to do that,” you tell him quickly.
His eyes are dark, “I know, I want to.”
His hands grab onto your legs and throw them over his shoulders. He blows on your cunt just to watch you twitch for him; his gaze is greedy. And so is his tongue as he licks into you, his mouth downright worshiping your pussy as he tastes you.
Your back arches off the bed at the contact, head swimming in ecstasy at the way his tongue fucks you, his nose pressed into your clit. It’s got your eyes rolling back and hands gripping the sheets, you’re incredibly wet, getting him wet and messy. You want him inside you, you want his body on yours, want him to press his skin up against yours as he fucks you. You want him.
He moans into your pussy, his pace quickening. He’s determined to have you cumming on his face and unwilling to pull away until you do. His hands hold your thighs spread for him, his tongue laps at you, he pulls it out of your pussy hole to suck on your clit. It has you seeing stars, moans and whimpers increasing, so incredibly close to the edge.
As he enters his fingers back inside you and begins stroking your inner walls, you start to tighten around him. He hums happily into your cunt, knowing you’re so close to cumming. Your thighs try to close around his head, but his grip holds you steady, it’s the prick of his nails biting into you slightly that has you finishing around his fingers.
You release supressed whimpers as you cum and when he notices that you are cumming, he rips his fingers from you and replaces them with his mouth, swallowing your release eagerly. He moans into your cunt at the taste of you, overjoyed at your orgasm.
When he pulls back, he’s tugging his pants down and taking them off, desperate for you. His own arousal setting him on fire, so close to finishing just from making you cum. He strokes his dick languidly, the slight pressure making him sigh out in relief.
The sight of his cock reminds you of how badly you want to be filled with him, drained slightly from your orgasm but still needy for him. He’s fucking his hand to the sight of you, one of his hands holds your thighs apart while he kneels between them, stroking himself and looking at your cunt.
“Kung Lao,” you whine at him, urging him to move along.
He looks to you, his eyes are lidded and filled with lust, but he smirks at you, “Beg.”
His word punches you in the gut, he wants you to beg for his dick. He gave you a taste of euphoria and is now withholding.
“Mm not gonna beg,” you tell him.
His voice is slightly strained, holding back a moan, “That’s really too bad.”
He leans over you, his hand on your thigh moving to beside your head, holding his weight above you. He moves the tip of his cock through your folds, rubbing you and spreading your slick over the tip of his dick. You wonder if he’s going to give up that easily, but as he keeps sliding his cockhead against you, you realise you’re not that lucky. He’s teasing you, the sensation of him has you keening, wanting to moan but containing the sounds, not wanting him to have the satisfaction.
“Cause I think you’d sound really cute if you begged me,” he adds onto his previous statement.
“Hah– Mm not gonna beg,” you repeat.
“We will see,” his reply is unworried, unrushed, taking this at his own pace.
He continues moving the head of his dick through your folds before briefly dipping to your pussy hole, stretching you on him just the smallest bit before pulling away. He pulls away from your cunt and strokes himself, he moans at the feeling.
His eyes are on you and your needy gaze, “Could have it right now, babe.” He taunts, the tip of his cock pushing into your cunt again, but ultimately pulling away immediately.
He repeats the action, over and over again, pushing into you the tiniest amount, enough to slightly stretch you open on him and then pulling away before you get any kind of satisfaction. Moans spill from him every now and again, both from your pussy leaking on his cock and the way his hand moves up and down his shaft.
His resolve seems impeccable for a man who almost came in his pants while eating you out, he continues teasing you, never indulging you. He wants to hear you beg for him; his skin is burning for it.
You’re close to tears now, needing to feel him, your eyebrows are pinched together, “Kung Lao, please.”
“What was that?” His eyes look to yours.
You whine slightly as you say, “I need you… please.” Your eyes are large and pleading.
His reaction to your expression and pleas, is a large victorious smile, “That is all you had to say, babe.”
Finally, he slowly starts pushing into you, properly this time. Inch by delicious inch, he presses into you, filling you completely. Large and heavy inside you, your cunt throbbing around him at the feeling of finally being full. When he’s sheathed completely inside, pelvis pressed to yours, you both moan loudly.
“Gods, I might cum like this – hah – why didn’t you beg sooner,” he complains, leaning down so his skin is resting on yours, holding his weight up with his forearms.
You feel speechless, so full of him, your cunt pulsing around him. When he leans down to you, you wrap your legs around his waist, hooking them behind him. The shift causes him to slip deeper and he whimpers in response.
You clench around him at the sound, and he grunts, he pulls out of you abruptly and it makes you gasp first before whining at the loss of him.
“Wait – wait, what are you doing,” you whine at him, confused.
He’s holding the base of his cock as it twitches in his hand, “I almost –fuck– I almost came,” he curses, trying to control himself.
You go to whinge at him some more, but he stops you, “Need you to be quiet for a moment.” He asserts, worried your begging will push him over the edge very suddenly.
Complying, you wait a moment for him, and when he’s ready he pushes into you again, filling you perfectly. You wrap your legs around him when he’s pressed to you completely. He’s resting on his forearms again, framing your face and gazing at you.
“I thought you were supposed to be some kind of expert,” you say, teasing him a little.
He huffs at you, before nosing at the side of your face, “I am, but you have a divine pussy.” The compliment goes straight to your core, and you clench around him, he groans at you, “Like being praised huh?”
He draws his hips away from you, starting to fuck into you, his initial pace attempting to be gentle. He’s so big and he’s pressing up against places inside you that have never been touched, it makes you whimper and whine. The sounds are embarrassing to you and as you go to cover your mouth, Kung Lao’s hands grab onto both your wrists, pinning them to the bed.
“I want to hear how well I fuck you,” he whispers into your ear, the words send a shiver down your spine.
The pace he set changes into a fast and desperate one, fucking into you harshly and quickly. He looks down to where he’s fucking into you, groaning at the way you take him so well, he looks back to you. Wanting to see your expression. The way he’s fucking you makes your head spin, your eyes glaze over as you look up at him, his face is concentrated as he focuses on his pace.
You think he looks stunning like this, slightly fucked out and desperate as he fucks into you over and over again.
He catches the look in your eyes, “Looking at me with heart eyes, babe. What’s wrong?” He lets go of one of your wrists to hold the side of your face, “Dick so good you’re falling for me?”
If you weren’t so lost, if you didn’t feel so good right now, you’d bite back, say something teasing in nature but as he bullies his way into your cunt over and over again. You can’t help but mindlessly agree, nodding at him in response, hoping he’ll fuck you over the edge.
He relishes in your response, and he smiles at you before leaning down and kissing you. His tongue searching your mouth, making you even more breathless than his cock.
Pulling back, he watches the way you’re writhing and moaning under him, it has him right on the edge, barely fighting off his own orgasm. Only holding out by the skin of his teeth, refusing to cum before you do.
His thrusts become rougher, his pelvis grinds into your clit each time he re-enters you and it makes you flutter around him.
“You’re so close –ngh– I can feel it, cum all over me, babe.” He groans at you, “Mm the way your tight pussy is choking my dick has me right on the edge, –hah– feels so good,” he leans down to your ear, “Been doing such a good job, got the best cunt I’ve ever been in.”
All the praise he showers you with has you cumming without warning, your cunt clenching tightly around him. You moan out his name, whimpers exiting you, the force of your orgasm has you forgetting to be embarrassed. Too caught up in how good it feels to cum around him.
He moans at the feeling of you pulsing around him, his dick jerking, your own release triggers his very quickly. He rushes to pull out of you, but you lock your legs around him and hold him tight, wanting him to cum inside you.
As he realises your intent he keels over slightly, grinding his pelvis into you, filling you up with his release and riding out both your highs. His groans trail off into whimpers as he grows sensitive, but he doesn’t stop grinding into you, enjoying the way your pussy twitches around him too much.
You’re off in the clouds, not comprehending much of what’s happening around you, not until Kung Lao presses kisses to your lips, slowly coaxing your attention back to him. When you feel a little more tethered to Earth you wrap your arms around his neck and kiss him back properly. He smiles into the kiss, pulling back from you and then pressing a final peck to your cheek.
He carefully pulls out of you, gaze watching his cum leak out of you and onto the bed, his eyes are alight as he watches your cunt pulse. Your legs kick him away, as much as they can anyways, you’re a little shaky and sore.
He chuckles at you but flops down onto the mattress next to you, turning to his side so he can look over you.
“So?” He asks, wanting to hear you say how good he knows he was.
You pout up at the ceiling, “So, what?”
“Come on, I know I was the best you ever had,” he pokes your side.
You turn to him, “I’ve only ever slept with one other person.”
“Whatever…” he looks into your eyes, “You’re the best I have ever had,” he tells you, reaching out to tug you closer to him.
You’re resting on your side now, held against him. His confession makes your heart soar because unlike you, he has had his fair share of sexual encounters.
“You are the best I have had,” you admit, even though you’d actively have to try to be worse than the last guy.
“Yes, I knew it,” he’s celebrating his win, you can practically feel the room get smaller with his growing ego.
“So far,” you tease.
“What?” He makes you look at him, “I’m it now, babe.”
You’re a little wordless, “What?”
“I’m it, if you need dick from now on, you come to me,” he asserts, “So delete that guys number.”
“And you?” You ask him.
He looks at you questioningly, “You kidding? Why would I want anyone else?”
His words make you melt, you don’t know what this is, if it’s a friends with benefits situation or something more but either way, you like it.
“I’ll delete his number if you play scrabble with me,” you smile mischievously at him.
He flops onto his back and groans dramatically at you, “Fine.”
Moving closer to him, you kiss his cheek, and it makes him blush. Yeah, you like whatever this is.

A/N: Thank you for reading it all !!! This took me a bit to finish but I am happy with it. I struggled most with the truth or dare scene and making things flow but in the end it’s a made up scenario and we all wanna fuck Kung Lao so 🤷♀️ 🤷♀️ Anyhow, I hope you enjoyed it <333 As per usual, if you have any requests, feelings, thoughts, questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out !!! I love you all <33 For the scrabble game, cwm isn't a misspell on my part, there is a legitimate scrabble word spelt cwm and is defined as: a steep-walled semicircular basin in a mountain; may contain a lake Ax is also just a variation on the usual spelling of axe and I think that is dumb, I like scrabble and think these two words would irk me, especially if I lost because of them lmao

I am going feral for jealous possessive andrei
Cant wait to read it
the bane of my existence, the object of all my desires - a. svechnikov
i'm sorry this wasnt even planned but it has to be done like.....
warnings: yall know I write disgusting smut like... gross, dirty, nasty - includes but not limited to unprotected and semi public activities, dirty talk, mentions of sweat n blooood. just nasty shit. also its bad writing get over it! word count: 3.5k
LMAO so
nothing like a day off to watch your boyfriend work
he would never say it explicitly
but andrei loved it when you spent all day around him
you both knew how crucial it was to have your own lives
and your own friends and jobs and hobbies
but he couldn't lie
when you spent all day around him, he would go crazy
there was something about you
something about the way you moved
when you thought no one was watching or nobody cared
the way the air in the room would change whenever you walked in
and he had noticed it before
how everyone around would
adjust themselves, cough awkwardly or give him glances
part of his burning for you was just that
knowing how much you were valued
not because how you looked necessarily
even tho he found you stunning
it was because of your essence
enthralling everyone around you
and it wasn't beyond him that that factor called for
a lot of attention
which he had been giving to you since day one
since the day he saw you and he knew no one else could have you
the cling to you the need to have you didnt come from any lack of security
it came from simple desire
indisputable and ever present, to the point where
everyone had to pretend not to see it
the intensity repelling any and all grossed out friends and teammates
he had tried, truly, at the beginning, but there was no way to dissimulate
if he had melted in presence of past women, he lit up in yours
and so far, there were no signs of slowing down
ever since he could remember, andrei never had any breaks
no way of slowing down, of letting it breathe
it was one of his biggest peaks but also downfalls
skate faster
shoot sharper
push harder
until his legs gave out and even then
crawl and claw if he needed to get everything
every single thing he wanted
and he wasn't afraid to admit it
never arrogant, but always honest
the house, make it bigger
the car, flashier
his mother’s wrist, shinier and heavier
more wins, more
more
more of
you. as well
in quality always before than in quantity
get the best, and give yourself fully to it
invest everything you have in it and simultaneously squeeze every drop of pleasure from it
he wasn't ashamed
or apologetic about it
it was one of the things you loved most about him
and it did wonders for your relationship
so today, despite it being a relatively easy day
no traveling, no game, just practice
(which took all day for andrei, obviously)
you decided to spend it being clingy
your boyfriend's favorite word
he loved to see you watch him
it helped him focus more stay more present as he felt you closer to him
and sneak around to see you
come to the glass
give you a puck
take an extra long lunch (and nap)
it was the day of his dreams honestly
you grabbed your things as he was the last man to leave the ice
seats around you empty by now
made your way towards him
right after he was done, just how he liked it
always right after a game, a practice, a trip
there was nothing better than to see your face immediately as he was done
he didnt want a second to breathe or clear his head
all of that was done with you
the sound of your shoes echoing in the halls of the arena
matching rhythmically your heart pounding within you
every step matching every contraction, every rush of blood sent through you
you knew the walls and corners of this place like the back of your hand
the sound of muffled music waltzing around from afar
as others began their afternoon workout, you knew andrei had just finished his skating
at times it seemed like
there was no way to calm yourself down around him
but it had never been nerves you thought
always
joy
desire
wanting and needing for each other
sweat clung to him as you approached him in the empty locker room
it had been such a domestic experience by now that you knew when to be there and when to know it was only him
like clockwork
and he loved it
every time he thought about it, a smirk would adorn his face
you stood at the entrance of the room, placing your shoulder tenderly against the doorframe
a smile forming on your lips as you saw his body shift
pretending that he didn't hear you, that he didn't know you were there
but it was so simple to see the sculpture of his shoulder twitch
stretch in the most minuscule way, letting you know he could feel you
it was like
a magnet
no matter how far you were, if you were in the same vicinity, the polarity zapped you both
pulled you in always
the closer, the more intense the energy became
you stood still, the two of you immobile in the silence
it seemed like forever
the aching growing stronger
both unrelenting in your posture
but he knew
he always knew you'd give in first
you noticed, in your attentiveness, the slight tremor that rolled through his back body
slight, but noticeable
you had become an expert by now at concealing your worry, letting andrei take care of himself
but it was still there deep down
had he pushed himself too far today?
was it finally the day he didn't listen to his limits?
unconsciously, you stepped forward
and taken aback by your own actions, the smallest gasp leaving your lips
he turned his head just enough for you to see his profile, a thick eyebrow arched in
rude awakening almost
the tightening of your chest prevented any words from tumbling out, the feeling only deepening as he turned to face you fully
immediately meeting a newly formed gash on his chin
your eyes darted as you tried to remember when you could have missed this
you were there almost the whole time he was on the ice
“you see? this is why i need you always here.”
as he broke the silence, a small drop of blood began to pool at the surface of the cut
“what happened? i didn’t even…”
you failed to finish your sentence, shock, and anticipation mixing underneath your rib cage as he began to step towards you
walking slowly, molasses dripping in every movement
“imagine how bad they treat me when you are not here, Ки́са”
he muttered, his voice low, as he threw a scarlet-tinted towel on the floor
“if it was up to you, i wouldn’t leave you ever.”
you smirked, raising your chin in defiance when his walking came to a stop
you could always see the enjoyment on his face whenever he played these games
his feet planted firmly a few inches away from you
more than a couple of steps, but close enough to feel his heat
the musk that emanated out of him after getting off the ice
the mix of the cold environment and the rough maneuvers created a scent you could never find anywhere else
“what can i say? i am happiest when you are around.”
the corner of his lips pulling, smugly tugging up
there was something about the sincerity and vulnerability of his statement
combined with the way he delivered it
with that shit eating grin
the fuckboy esque aura of his appearance
oh, andrei
your boyfriend and his erotic, slow burning, sexual standoffs
“you know I can’t do that”
you replied tenderly, snickering at your own thoughts
he looked down, placing his hands on his hips
a drop of sweat hitting the ground as he inhaled deeply
audibly
a slight rasp finishing his exhale, his lungs still reflecting the hazardous workout
it took all the strength within you not to move
you had learned to view andrei as
an animal
a feline
you could open the door, but they would come in whenever they wanted
always taking his time
knowing that he could feel the neediness seeping out of you
it was consistently on his terms
you clenched your fists and let them go, leaving imprints on your palms
waiting desperately for him to
do something
anything
look at you
move towards you
the less you got lost in yourself, however,
the more you could him crumbling inside
his fingertips white, pressing deeply into his skin
his chest beginning to heave
“yeah, you like to come back to me, eh?”
your face dropped, the tone of his voice melting you
seeing your defenses come down
your breath deepen
had him on the edge of it all
yet, he was wise enough to have a sliver of self-control
but never for long
you couldn’t
just
say anything
he had officially turned it from simmer to high
not causing an immediate eruption but
the heat pooling all that desire together
and you knew it would rip out of you both forcefully once it was consistently kept on high
“what happened, baby?”
his accent was thick as he faked concern, almost mocking you
all you could do was open your mouth, but
nothing. not one word
he walked over to you, degradingly normally in his stroll
no different than as if he were approaching a cash register or clerk
as if he hadn't spent who knows how long toying with you
loosening your joints with every single dedicated action since you walked in
he stopped dangerously right in front of you
close enough that
another bead of sweat fell again
this time, hitting your own nose
he loved to see you like this, practically panting in front of him but paralyzed
he knew he couldn't show it yet
not yet
it was purposeful but not planned, at least he didn’t think so
every single moment he played it by ear
responding to your state second by second
“how do you guys say here?”
he muttered, voice ever lower now,
“cat has your tongue?”
the taunting tensed your face
your eyes piercing his, intensely, as your jaw clenched
not yet
one second
a couple more beats
he thought
before breaking and grabbing the back of your neck harshly enough to
make you lose your balance
but it didn't matter
his hands strong enough to
have you
hold you
and his plump
bitten and red lips
meeting yours
raucous
both of you inhaling
not deeply, but suddenly
overhauled by the adrenaline, the endorphins
his teeth catching your lip at the end of the kiss
just slightly
biting off some of that surface skin
his expression, completely different when you guys pulled away
eyebrows furrowed, face scrunched up in what could have been mistaken for frustration
eyes stuck on your lips
as he dived in again
so powerfully that it stung at first. it hurt from smashing his face against yours
tongues not fighting
but ramming against each other
every single millisecond
his insides moist and slippery from the hours of skating
and spitting on the ice
sticky more than anything
sticking to
your tongue
your teeth
your lips
so aggressively as he explored your mouth
he pulled back just as hard
whiplash in your neck
the gasps the only thing filling the room
“you did not answer.”
he says, matter of factly
much to your confusion
“answer what, andrei?”
you ask, his hand firmly planted and keeping you from approaching him again
“cat has your tongue?”
he says, as serious as ever
“andrei, it’s a sayi-”
“let me see it.”
he interrupts
“wh-”
“open your mouth, y/n.”
your breath hitches for the millionth time as you realize what he meant this whole time
your body betrays you, your mouth slowly opening against your will
you can see
trembling in his breath
as you do what he ordered
his gaze unable to pick a place to
focus on
running all over your face
your big
doe eyes
only he got to see this submission in your look
your tongue glistening before him
he moves his other hand to the front of your throat
placing it gently but securely in the crevice where your chin meets your neck
he was
wet
everywhere
covered in sweat
before you could try to
check any other place
to see it glint and glimmer
he
in one swift motion
bends down and licks your tongue
his meeting yours
flat
right against yours
so deeply that you can feel his tastebuds
his ridges
through the thick saliva
as he does it over and over again
so feverishly, so fast
in the mess of it all
in the middle of your storm
you taste it all
his spit, his sweat
eventually
droplets of blood that snuck inside your mouth in his ferocity
the mix metallic and
piercing through every layer of your mouth
every layer of you
the rush of it
the tension that you both held in as he kept space between your bodies except for
such a sacred place. Your mouths
more and deeper
haphazardly
making a mess out of you
moans evacuating your system
unwittingly, just the way he likes it
as he switches from licking to
fiercely kissing
not your lips, but your tongue
open-mouthed and sloppy
a trail of your mixed spit uniting you every single time he pulls away
beginning to groan
his grip shaking from holding back
swallowing every single one of your moans
relentlessly
his back straightening up as he pulls away from you breathless
watching you pant and
inevitably he can't help but
untidyingly spit into your mouth
the thick glob of you
mixed with every part of him. His blood, his sweat
landing on the plains of your tongue
clear dribble threaded in with pleasure and cerise
finally coming to a stop
“боже мой”
oh my god
he whispers, his lips glistening
you stand there, frozen together
flushed
heaving in synchronicity
before he spins you around
so quickly that the world around you doubles for a second
before you realize your feet
your body, in midair
his strong forearms holding tightly to your midriff
before he places you in front of his locker
you can feel
cold perspiration hitting the top of your head from his chin
as he slithers his hands down your arms
creating a road of damp goosebumps on your skin
interlacing his thick, calloused fingers with yours
the pruned skin of his palms coming in contact with the top of your hands tenderly
guiding you to grip the slats above his locker
the cold, metal bars becoming slippery with the dampness that had accumulated in your grasp
andrei lets go one hand for just a second
sloppily raising your skirt to reveal your ass
holding back from ripping your underwear off with one simple gesture
instead moving it to the side
placing it securely over the curve of you body
letting him access all of your vulnerable parts
you can hear the fabric ripping off of his hips just after
as the tip of his cock
already slicked with precum
hits you, releasing from the tight grip of his boxers
he places himself right at your entrance
his member sizzling against you
andrei’s fingers begin to explore
up and down your cunt
“andrei.”
you moan, sharply
“you know I take care of you, принцесса”
he answers, his cheek pressed against the side of your head
you could feel your hair sticking to his damp skin
“i’m already wet, just, please.”
you start to plead, looking down in defeat
“i can feel, baby. just let me feel more.”
you could hear the entertainment in his voice as he kept his touch feather light
up and down
circling your clit, spreading your juice on every inch of your vulva
even moving the tip of his cock, which kept pressing steadily at your entrance, to dip his touch inside
not fully, just slightly
“let me have what I gave you.”
he mutters, unable to keep his cock from twitching as the words leave his mouth
you knew him, and how he asked for things in his fashion
immediately, opening your mouth as his hand moved back to your front, swirling his fingers around the inside
“such good girl.”
he drawls out, scooping some spit from the back of your throat
a slight gag sending shivers down your spine
and placing it inside you, finally giving you an ounce on relief with his two fingers
“you see? now you already have me inside you. before I can even fuck the shit out of you right here.”
he teases, his accent shining more than ever in his cursing
the way he slightly mispronounced every word made your body loose even more
“you know if I am home, I spit in every single one of your hole.”
he whispers, bending down so you can take in every word from the shell of your ear
“andrei, please.”
this one is louder, your system alarmingly imploring for more
your tone sending a jolt throughout his nervous system
allowing his guard down enough to groan suddenly and steadily
“you ask so nicely, Малы́шка”
your moan of exasperation relaxes as he finally drives his hips forward, his cock parting you easily and coating himself with muddle that you had become
you both tighten the grip that holds you almost perpendicularly
the bar underneath you letting you a creak just as you both exhale in pleasure
andrei wastes no time in beginning his thrusts
his humid hips slamming audibly against your ass as he moves his hand to your lower belly
pushing you back towards you even more
the grunting was unabating, jerking out of him every time he bottomed out
at this point
you weren't even sure if you needed to be concerned about getting caught
for a moment, you had gotten so wrapped up in him that you forgot
the locker room
technically public
and on top of that, his workplace
it was hard to keep that fear in mind when the clench of his hands began to tighten
right as he began to ram himself full force into you
his hard cock sending signals of delirious elation all throughout you
your sighs and moans harmonizing with his
he loved how expressive you were
it wasn't faked or exaggerated
he knew that everything that came out from between your lips was his doing that you just couldn't hold back
“andrei, babe.”
you moaned, failing to access any other part of your vocabulary
“i know, baby, I know”
he grunted out
the pit in your bellies, concurrently deepening
he couldn't stop, releasing all his tension with every shove inside you
“i know, let it out for me, yeah?”
he added
you knew you couldn’t last much longer
your thighs jiggling and trembling as you both surged and waved back and forth in unison, meeting the other’s flows
“oh, my-”
your orgasm jumped through you, your eyes squeezing shut as you clamped around andrei
feeling your ecstasy pool at the base of his cock and slowly began to dribble down his pelvis
getting caught in his pubic hair while you shook his his arms
your fingers gripping impossibly tight underneath his
it all made andrei sped up even faster
eliciting the sweetest sounds he had ever heard to rip out of your throat
your vision clouded by sweat and stars
the way your pussy clutched his member rolled andrei in his own exaltation
his muscles binding as he stiffened behind you, releasing all of himself inside your cunt with a groan that echoed throughout the locker room
your breathing stayed synced as you both came down together
worried that if you moved or let each other go that you would both tumble out on the ground
“you feel good, baby?”
he asked breathlessly, placing a sweet kiss on your temple
another drop of blood from the long forgotten gash accidentally splashing on your face
you nodded, turning around to find his rich brown eyes staring right into you
his thumb rapidly cleaning up your cheek
apologetic in his look and yet
still behind a roaring fire that never seemed to die within his gaze
“are you okay?”
you asked, a giggle interrupting your sentence as you eyed his chin, now swelling more than ever
“I told you, I’m okay when you here always.”

ok max request
i know you said he has a pretty sensitive stomach that gets irritated by a lot of things, so what about him overindulging on something that usually sits well, only for him to start feeling sick after (i also really enjoy burps 😳😳)
Here you go anon! Burpy Max with an upset stomach!
-------------
"Okay, I want all of you gremlins sitting down right now!" Max exclaimed, jokingly glaring at the one kid still standing, "that includes you, Elliot. Sit your ass down."
The eight year old boy blushed and hurried to sit down and Max rolled his eyes, just as he saw Vince walking to the bus, with a kid draped all over him.
"Bus rules," Max raised a hand to start listing, "everyone wears a seat belt, no standing when the bus is moving. This includes when it just stopped in a red light. No sticking your heads out of the windows-" honestly, he hated the fact the windows weren't sealed shut, that always gave him anxiety after watching Hereditary - "no eating smelly things in the bus. If anyone feels sick, please call me up before you barf everywhere and I'll go get you so we can work this out. Ah, and use your inside voices, will you?"
He was pretty sure only 5% of what he had just said filtered through the kids. In truth, Max's favorite age to teach was teenagers, who actually listened, just opted for not doing what he asked sometimes. All he had to do was convince the older kids he was someone worth of listening, while the younger ones... They simply, plainly, didn't hear a word he said.
"Alright," Max sighed, turning around as Vince entered the bus, "nice of you to join us, Monacelli."
"We had an emergency pee break," Vince ignored him, not bothered in the least as he buckled in the six year old that was clinging to him, "you finished with the rules?"
"Yeah, we can go."
"Alright."
They were going on a field trip for the next town's science museum. It wasn't a long trip, only about 1 hour to get there, then they'd have a tour and a lunch break and come back before sunset. Still, these type of trips always made Max uneasy because so many things could go wrong surrounded by tiny, curious kids.
He settled down on his seat in the front, next to Monacelli. The other teacher was wearing a short sleeved polo, straining against his chest, and a baseball cap on top of his mop of black curls.
"You want anything?" Vince asked, not raising his eyes from his phone. Max sneaked a glance at the screen. The man was checking football scores, that made sense. He looked the type.
"No, just bored out of my mind," Max shrugged, glancing past his shoulder as the bus started to move and there was a general squeal, the volume increasing considerably. Field trips were never quiet.
Vince shrugged, ignored him and Max sat correctly in his seat, grabbing a bag of chips in his backpack. He stuffed a handful in his mouth, before tipping the bag in Monacelli's direction to wordlessly ask if he wanted any.
"Pass, thanks," Vince said, "still not feeling a 100% after the stomach bug from hell that you gave me."
Max snorted, rolling his eyes, "it's been ten days, get over it."
"Like you got over it?" The other man needled him and Max wrinkled his nose. In truth the flu had taken him out of commission for 4 whole days and when he finally managed to come back to the school, he had to take on some extra hours since Vince was down for the count.
And that was not even touching the fact he had to win his seniors all over again. Thankfully the bug had been harsh enough and he had a cemented enough position that he didn't become an immediate meme among the students, but that didn't mean they were cool with him again.
Max sulked, sliding down his seat a little more and continuing to eat. The chips were bland, because he wouldn't risk trying salt&vinegar during a field trip, since those always upset his stomach, and soon enough he finished up the whole bag, muffling a burp against his fist and crumpling the plastic.
Next to him, he watched as Vince took a sandwich from his bag and bit on it. Of course it was in homemade bread and huge. Max glared at the sandwich for such a long time, that Vince frowned and held it up for him.
"You want a bite? Or are you gonna hold me upside down by the ankles for my lunch money?"
Fuck this guy entirely, Max thought, scoffing, "I never did that."
"No, you just shoved me so hard from the monkey bars that I broke my arm," Vince rolled his eyes, "and for no reason too."
"I'm sure I had some reason," Max mumbled under his breath, even though he knew he really didn't. Twelve year old him had been a demon, smack right in the middle of his parents divorce and trying to get everyone's attention through whatever means he could.
Vince rolled his eyes, taking another bite and getting up from his seat to check on the kids.
The other teacher sighed, sliding further down his seat and crossing his arms to his chest, pissed off. He really didn't like remembering how much of a prick he once was, it burned a hole in his stomach.
Talking about his stomach... He could feel it pressing against his jeans, bloating up. He was the king of bloating, easily looking pregnant over any meal, but really? Over bland chips?
Another airy burp forced up and he blew it out under his breath, massaging his chest and cursing softly. It was like his body was adamant on humiliating him in front of Monacelli.
"We're probably almost there already," Vince said, startling Max, and causing him to sit up correctly. The other man slid in the small space between the front of the bus and Max' legs, so he could sit on the empty seat near the window, "no kid is carsick, we should count our stars."
"Uhm," Max nodded, scratching at his beard nervously and muffling yet another burp. He fidgeted on his seat, trying to find a comfortable position, "so why did you come back to Doveport? People don't come back here."
Vince shrugged, making a silly face to a kid who was watching them from another seat, then keeping the lighthearted smile on as he answered, "my family is here. I wanted to be closer to them. Besides, I like the town."
Insufferable.
"You like the town?" Max scoffed, then another burp snuck up, this one louder and bringing with it a hiccup that shook his whole body. Vince raised his eyebrows.
"You good?" he asked, not waiting for an answer to continue, "yeah, I like the people, I like the fact its peaceful."
"I'm-HIC!" The blonde let out a loud groan when another hicc-urp interrupted him, loud enough the kids sitting across the hallway from them started to giggle, "shit."
"Language," Vince said, seemingly out of habit, the corner of his mouth quirking up, "did you eat too much for your tummy, Daniels?"
Maybe he had a reason to break this guy's arm, Max thought darkly, glaring at him, "I'm fine," he stressed, wrapping an arm around his stomach and huffing as yet another hiccup shook him, "fu-duuuck."
He heard Vince chuckle at the switch of the insult, then a huge hand came to rest on his back, "maybe get up? It might help."
It wouldn't, Max already knew. Once he got the hiccup-burps, he was done for and it was really only a matter of time before his belly started churning and maybe nausea joined the mix later on. Still, just to get away from Vince, he got up and walked the hallway using the seats on each side of him as support to keep from wooblying.
Vaguely he thought they were setting up a terrible example, telling the kids to stay put and then walking all over.
He counted the children, just to have something to do, and then paused as the bus shook and his stomach flipped, going from unsettled to upset and sour. Max squinted, removing a hand from the seat in order to plant it on his belly and groaning as he could feel the bloat pushing against his t-shirt.
"Mr. Daniels?" a kid asked, confused as of why he had stopped right next to their seat. It was a little girl, with long box braids and dark skin, big brown eyes, "is your tummy sick?"
God.
"I'm fine, Jess," he forced a smile at the kid, winking at her, "what are you drawing there?"
"The dinosaurs!" Jess perked up, holding her coloring page. It was a bit messy, but overall he thought it was pretty nice. A T-rex in the middle of the woods. They wouldn't be seeing any t-rexes today, but oh well.
"That's so cool," he grinned, crouching down and immediately regretting it when the movement caused another burp to rush up, this one followed by three hiccups in quick succession that he could do nothing about. Jess started to giggle at him and Max' cheeks turned red. He swallowed some air, forcing up a thick, low burp against his fist and she wrinkled her nose.
"Eeewww..." The little girl whined and he blushed even more, his whole face ablaze.
"Sorry, sorry-" he grabbed one of her crayons, "I think your t-rex is missing a hat. It's sunny outside, is it not?"
Happily diverted, the kid turned to her drawing and studied it, "maybe sunblock," she decided, "or a cap like Mr. Mo's?"
Who the fuck was Mr. Mo?
It took Max a second to realize the girl couldn't pronounce Monacelli and had settled for the second best thing. He snorted, "yeah, give him a baseball cap-"
"Her," Jess glared at him, "It's a girl t-rex, like in the movies."
"Ah... Yeah, then give her a cap," he squeezed the little girl's shoulder, then got up once more, the movement causing the bag of chips in his belly to churn a little harder and the push up a wet burp that he muffled with a hand. This one he could just taste the potatoes.
"Fuck," Max sighed, falling back on his seat up in the front and folding in half, pressing his forehead to the front wall that separated the common area of the bus from the driver's.
"What's up?" Vince looked up from his phone once more. Now he was texting someone.
"I think I'm gonna barf," Max groaned, keeping his voice low, "how much until we stop?"
"About twenty minutes," Vince dug through the cooler that was at his feet, with water bottles, juice boxes, bags, snack bars - "here," he handed him a water bottle, "are you carsick or did you really eat too much with just a measly bag of chips?"
"My gut is a bit of a bitch," Max sighed, closing his eyes, "temperamental as fuck. I thought I was in the clear with the bland chips, but..." he trailed off, making his point by muffling a sickly little burp against his hand and shuddering when vomit splashed the back of his throat. He swallowed in, "fuck my entire fucking life."
"Stop fucking swearing," Vince whispered to him, "you're gonna startle the kids. Twenty minutes, alright? Just take deep breaths and stop leaning forward like that, you're not helping yourself."
"You're such a snotty know-it-all," Max glared at him, as Vince planted a hand on his chest and pushed him against the seats, "what's up? You're a med school reject?"
Vince frowned, "you're such a prick. Are you hellbent on puking in front of every class you teach?"
Max' ears burned and he looked away from the man, taking a large gulp of water, "you're never gonna let that go?"
"Not for another month at least," Vince huffed and then pushed the window next to him wide open.
The rush of chill air helped a lot, but Max was not about to congratulate Vince for doing the barest minimum. He breathed out slowly through his mouth, sneaking a hand under his t-shirt and pressing on his belly. It was warm to the touch and gurgling non stop.
"How much more?"
"Nineteen minutes," Vince said and he could hear the man's amusement at his plight. Max groaned, staring at the ceiling as yet another hiccup hit him and made his ribs ache, his whole chest squeeze.
The water had been a mistake, as it rocketed up his throat, forcing him to gulp down.
"I really don't wanna be sick in front of them," Max whispered, allowing a glimpse of vulnerability to the other teacher. He knew at least with that Vince could sympathize, "just- Do something? Please."
There was a pause, then Vince squeezed his knee in an amiable way and pushed Max's legs out of the way as he got up once more. He clapped his hands loudly.
"Alright kids, each one of you know the bus song?" he exclaimed, his voice all cheery and Max groaned, scooting so he could occupy Vince's now empty seat next to the window and shoving his head out, so he could breathe.
Now with the noisy bus, he could burp openly, and a string of belches pushed up, intercalated with hiccups, rattling in his chest. He let out a groan and spat the saliva pooling in his mouth, but the burps helped, a little, the ache in his gut.
He lowered his head to the windowsill, listening as Vince continued to sing. They had ruined the peace and quiet and the bus was chaos, but at least Max knew not a soul was paying attention to him, as he let out a moan and squeezed his tummy, urging it to settle down.
Eventually the bus came to stop and Max removed his head from the window, wiping the cold sweat that was clinging to his upper lip and catching Vince's eye as the man shepherded the kids into a queue in front of the museum.
"Thanks," he whispered, passing him by once they were all outside, "uhm- You can handle them for another fifteen? I'm gonna go hurl, but then I can take 'em."
Vince's eyebrows jumped up, a sudden, startled chuckle slipping past his lips. He nodded, "Uh yeah- yeah, sure, go ahead-" then his attention slipped away as one of the boys tried to run ahead, "Elliot give me your hand!"

I love the sound of that Spencer Reid fic, having that 180 in the readers emotions would be great to read
Our clouded ray of sunshine - Spencer Reid
IM SO SORRY THIS TOOK ME SO LONG TO POST ITS BEEN HALF WRITTEN FOR A MONTH AND IVE ONLY JUST GOTTEN AROUND TO FINISHING IT. Also, this is only my second cm fic and I really want to get into it more so feel free to put in a request!! For now, I’m only going to write for Emily, Spencer and Hotch :)) In my head this is around season 3 where everyone is still a bit innocent but Rossi isn’t in this one, sorry.. @fuckbananas03 @deceased-badger @jinx-it commented for B and a few of you guys told me in my asks as well, so votes decided, Spencer Reid everyone!! Summary: In which the reader is the sunshine of the BAU, but the team finds her having a breakdown in the parking lot after a case. wc: 1.8k Warnings: Mentions of murder/blood, the typical cm violence stuff, panic attack.
“I bring coffee!” You exclaim, walking into the break room the precinct let the team work in. Everyone’s eyes trail up, tired smiles forming onto their faces, as you go around the room, giving your teammates what could possibly be their last ounce of happiness. “And for you doctor.” You murmur, fishing for something in your pocket. “Extra sugar because I don’t think I’ve seen you so bitter before.” Spencer smiles, kindly taking the sugar packets from you as the others bubble with tired giggles.
“Anything new?” You ask, looking up at just about anyone who was willing to make eye contact with you. A file drops next to your coffee, which you decide to take a last sip of before opening what would inevitably be another file filled with disturbing images. “There’s another body.” Hotch says as you take a look at the images, and for a second, your heart drops. You take a sharp intake of breath, looking at whatever left can be seen of the victim. “It hasn’t been two days since the last victim. Either he’s panicking or he’s getting brave.” You say, though your eyes never leave the image of the victim.
She looked similar to someone you’d seen. Perhaps too similar. She had the face, the body of someone you looked at every morning in the mirror. Someone you looked at through the reflection of the glass cabinets in the small BAU kitchens while you waited for your coffee. She was you. She was you, but she was cold and bloody and, well, dead.
“...he’s getting sloppy.” is all you catch from Derek and you nod, as though reassuring yourself. “I have a sick feeling I should have had lunch before this.” You grin sheepishly and Derek shakes his head, mirroring the grimace on your face.
“I’m going to go back to the scene of the crime. Prentiss, come with me. Morgan and Jureau, please inform the family. Reid, L/N, you stay here, see if you find anything we didn’t catch. Keep in touch.” Almost unanimously, the four of them stood up, papers moving across the table and small exchanges being shared as the room emptied out, leaving you and Spencer alone. “Just you and me this time, pretty boy.” Even though Spencer doesn’t look up from his work, taking the file from you, you can see the corner of his mouth involuntarily tugging back into the smallest of smiles.
Truthfully, Spencer worried for you. He had watched carefully as your face dropped for the quickest moment, before your eyebrows were furrowing and you were analysing the unsub’s change of M.O. For the smallest of seconds, he had seen your eyes widen, a glossy layer of fright covering them, your nostrils flaring and lips pursing in fear and recognition.
But you would be okay. You would be okay because you were their ray of sunshine. It was you who found the sorrow felt in others and looked to lighten their mood. You would be fine because not one day came where you’d walk into the bullpen without a grin on your face and it was scientifically proven that smiling - even though you’re not happy - boosts your serotonin levels. Or at least Spencer had read.
Though no matter how hard Spencer tried to believe in that, he knew he would eventually be proven wrong at least sooner or later. So for the rest of the case, all the way until the unsub was in handcuffs, that’s what he looked out for, though he was unsuccessful. “Everything alright?” Hotch finally asked him on the jet. In a room full of profilers, someone was bound to realise that something was off with the two of you.
Spencer didn’t look away from you, who had taken a seat away from everyone else, though he had kept your usual space next to him free. “She’s not. Or she won’t be.” The Unit Chief followed Spencer’s eyes to where you threw your head back on the headrest and let out a deep sigh. “She saw herself in the victim, which doesn’t necessarily help someone in this field of work. And she got scared, I think. Hotch took the liberty to occupy the space facing Spencer, though he stayed silent for a moment, observing the agent as he worried about one of his closest friends. “Agent L/N is one of our emotionally strongest agents. Whatever it is she’s going through she’s going to push through it. Whether that’s alone, or by asking for help from someone.” Hotch intently looked at Spencer who broke eye contact within an instant and willed himself to open the book in his laps, though all he could do was stare at the page he was on.
“You know what I think?” Emily starts, another cup of searing coffee in her hands. “I think we should all go out and celebrate tonight.” Derek and JJ make sounds of agreement and Hotch gives in, admitting he could use a late dinner since he has nowhere to be. “You know I wish I could but I’m just absolutely exhausted.” You start, “And I probably need to replace the flowers I have at home. They’ve probably wilted by now.”
“Of course Ms. Little Sunshine keeps fresh flowers at home.” Derek retorts. “Yeah, I think I’ll pass tonight too.” Spencer says, making eye contact with you for the first time since you had boarded the jet. His eyebrows furrowed slightly when you averted your gaze over to Hotch, waiting for a cue to make your way out of the jet, which he freely handed over to you as he stood up, grabbing his go-bag and making his way out. “Meet in the parking in 15, we’ll sort transport.”
You followed his lead, deciding you’d rather avoid any questions or bribes from your teammates, ignoring Spencer’s hustle to reach you before anyone else, as he inevitably dropped the book he was reading on the jet. Instead of following Hotch up the building you waited for the elevator to go down to the parking where you stuffed your go bag in the back of your car.
You’d have to remember it tomorrow.
Oh god, tomorrow. Tomorrow you’d have to wake up and drive your car here where you’d have to work another case as though nothing happened. As though for a second you didn’t think it was you in that image, practically dismembered from what the murderous, rapist, serial killer had done to the body. The body that could have been yours. The body that could be yours in the future if you aren’t careful while working in the field or just going about with your day to day life.
Fuck.
And it’s not like you’d been kidnapped before like Reid had so truly, you were being utterly ridiculous. You inhaled deeply, head falling against the car, hands tightly clutching the handle to the door. Pull it and you’d be safe. You’d be far enough. But your mouth dried and as you licked your lips you realised you couldn’t breathe. Your heart pounded in your chest and hands shook as you frantically tried to pull the handle back. There was no use. Tears flooded your eyes, rapidly falling down your cheeks as you started to go dizzy, your vision before you blurring. And you were flying - or rather falling, your legs giving out from underneath you, hands still tightly clutching the door handle and you were on your knees. A crying mess on your knees with your head between your arms in the middle of the parking lot, completely oblivious of your teammates pinching each other to make sure they weren’t hallucinating.
“Is that-” started Emily, looking at Derek who stood beside her, quietly nodding. "I- should we?" The silence finished the question without Emily needing to finish it, though there was no evident answer to it. They'd all been in your position at some point. A crying, sobbing, hyperventilating mess with nightmares waiting to happen that would never leave your mind.
"Leave her." All heads flashed towards Spencer, eyes tearing away from you. "You guys go on, I'll get her home." No one moved apart from Garcia who was itching to get to you and give you a big hug, though that was possibly the last thing you needed at the moment. "You hear Reid, let's go." Hotch complied, his gaze trailing to Reid's, hoping to catch his eye. When he did, he nodded at him, as though apologising for not having taken any action. The boy would either hold a grudge, flashbacks of his own torn hope for a sliver of help from anyone pumping in his blood as he needed to watch one of his closest friends experience the trapped feeling of being preyed on by an invincible predator, an unstoppable force. Or he'd just ignore him until Hotch became right; that you'd get through it and heal whether it be with his help or not. Then he'd apologise to him for his behaviour and claim that he was worried for his friend.
Once the entire team was in the car, and they drove away, Spencer started to rethink his approach. Would he scare you if he just walked over? Would you be too caught up in your own mind to realise he was there by the time he got to you?
Fuck it.
His friend needed help.
He walked over, the sound of your desperate attempts to take a deep breath becoming increasingly louder as he approached you. He could see the subtle way your fingers, still tightly wrapped around the door handle twitched upwards and how your ankled rolled uncomfortably at being on your knees for so long. He mimicked your position, kneeling down next to you, an arm hesitantly coming up to rub your back.
"Y/N? It's Spencer. I'm going to take your hand okay? And... And I'm going to put it on my chest and you're going to follow my breathing okay?" He followed his own instructions, steadying himself to breathe in and out slowly, watching closely as your body loosened its tight grip on itself to allow him full control over your sanity. Slowly, your hand still on his chest, you started to follow the movement of his chest with your own. The first breath came with a tremble in your stomach, quickly followed by a loud hiccup that shook the entire parking lot. With time, you gathered the stability to look up at your car, your second hand coming down to rest in your lap as soundless tears streamed down your face.
"We should get you home." Spencer started, a hesitant hand brushing your hair away from your face, but when you looked at him, leaping into his arms and wrapping your hands around his shoulders, his face flushed darkly, and he assumed you would be spending some more time in the dark parking lot.

Woodstock 1999
Rick Sanchez x Fem Reader
Summary: After attending a house party, thrown by your friend Summer, you end up meeting Rick. While making small talk, you tell him about the Woodstock 99' documentary that you had just seen and that you wish you could have seen Korn from that festival. Rick is confident that you wouldn’t be able to handle yourself in a crowd like that. When you disagree, Rick tries to call your bluff. By taking you to an alternative reality where Woodstock 99 is taking place.
Word Count: 3k+

You were sweeping the floors, finishing up your shift at the grocery store you worked at. It was Thursday and the store had been relatively quiet for most of the night. Only a couple more customers were wandering the isles, picking up last-minute items.. You were pretty tired, this started as a summer job but you ended up keeping it throughout the school year. It was nice to have extra money for clothes and outings with your friends, it almost made up for how depleting work was. You heard the assistance bell ring from the register, which prompts you to run over. You were pleasantly surprised to see Summer and her mom, you share most of your classes with the redhead. She has actually spent the night at your house a couple of times and vice-versa. You give her a quick mom and start scanning her items. Her mom was going on and on about how all the bottles of wine were for a family event, you looked over at Summer who was rolling her eyes. You held back a chuckle and continued to make polite conversation with Beth. After you bagged their groceries, Beth walked back to the car but Summer stayed back to talk.
“So obviously the family event thing was a lie but I am throwing a party tomorrow while my parents are doing this couple retreat thing. You should totally come,” Summer said.
“Yeah that sounds really fun, did you already invite half the school?” you joked while wiping down the counter.
“A lot of people are coming, yeah, but it’ll still be fun,” she said.
“Yeah for sure, do you want me to bring anything?” you asked.
“Just your hot ass and maybe a bottle would be cool. My mom is calling. I got to go but I’ll see you tomorrow,” she said while walking away.
Normally a house party isn’t really your scene but you were feeling kinda excited. For the past two months, you’ve been in a bit of a funk. Only going to school and work, not feeling up to doing your make-up most days, and dressing pretty bummy. You felt like a good party would break you out of that. Summer and you had a lot of mutual friends so you knew you would have company no matter what. You checked out the last customer and locked the door behind them. You grabbed some stuff for your lunch tomorrow and two bottles of Red Berry Ciroc. The store was owned by an older gentleman who sadly had dementia, his 29-year-old son now runs the store. As long as you gave him an extra ten for each bottle you bought he would look the other way when it came to age. You took an Uber home and immediately got in the shower. Scrubbing all the sweat off your body and lathering your hair in shampoo as Molly Kate Kestne’s Prom Queen blasted through a speaker. You stayed in the hot water until you felt at risk of passing out. You give your mom a kiss on the cheek, wishing her a good night before going to your bedroom. After turning on Jersey Shore as background noise, you fall asleep in your towel; completely worn out by your school and work week.
When you woke up, you were surprised that you slept through the night considering you didn’t get too comfortable before falling asleep. You were feeling extremely well-rested, it wasn’t until you were halfway done with your hair that you remembered about Summer’s party. You were super excited, you had this Saturday off which meant you didn’t have to worry about having a hangover. You throw on a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt and start gathering things into your book bag. Once you got to school, you couldn’t stop counting down the hours until you could leave. It felt like years had gone by once it was finally time for lunch. You were sitting with a group of friends who were all talking about Summer’s party. Maybe it’s because you have a job but your friends seem a lot less mature over these past couple of months. It seemed like if it wasn’t posted or extremely extra then it didn’t happen. I don’t know, it just felt like they did everything for shock value or clout. You thought it was weird how upset they would get if they didn’t look good in a video of them taking a shot or not taking a picture with the blunt before it was smoked. Sometimes you wish you could record how they act during those times and show them later. You pick at your salad, tuning out of their conversation until the bell rings.
Once the last period ended you bolted out of the front doors and made your way home. You flat ironed your hair and started applying a bit of makeup. Rummaging through your closet, you ended up wearing a tube top and a pair of baggy cargo jeans. You grabbed one of the biggest purses you could find grabbed a tee-shirt and wrapped the two vodka bottles in a way that avoids any clanking sound. Your pen, make-up bag, charger, and a couple of other items. You end up walking to Summer’s house seeing that it’s only a 20-minute walk. When you got there, the sun was just barely setting and teenagers were flocking to the house. The house was practically shaking due to how loud the music was. When you walked in you practically had to wave a cloud out of your face. Summer immediately noticed you when you walked in and came over to greet you.
“Hey! Oh my gosh, I’m so glad you came!” Summer said.
“Yeah me too, I needed this really bad. Also.. here are those bottles,” you said, taking the vodka out of your purse.
“Wow, I didn’t think you were gonna bring anything. I’m gonna chill these,” she said, grabbing the bottles and leading you into the kitchen. When you walked in Rick was leaning against the countertop. She shoved the bottles deep into the freezer, in hopes of speeding up the process.
“If you can’t drink -burp- the liquor at room temperature you’re probably not mature enough to be drinking at all,” Rick said, taking a swig from his flask.
“What if we just prefer it chilled? Just because you can doesn’t mean you shouldn’t” you point out.
“Yeah, Grandpa and after I smoke I don’t like the way hot ass liquor feels on my throat,” Summer said, closing the fridge door.
“Doesn’t matter whether your liquor is cold or hot, your party is gonna suck since you put a ban on any of my friends coming. Seems a little like bigotry in my opinion,” Rick said.
Summer ignored him and led you to her bedroom where a girl from your school Tricia Lange was packing a bowl. You asked Summer if it was okay to leave the party unattended. She joked ‘That’s what Morty is for’ which made you and Tricia laugh. She offered you greens which flattered you, after cornering the bowl you handed it to Summer. Coming off a two-week tolerance break, the weed was hitting you fast and hard. You tilted your head up and blew the smoke up into the air. Tricia complimented you on how pretty you looked which made you blush because.. hello its Tricia Lange, one of the hottest girls in your grade. You guys were making small talk when Summer pulled out a pink crystal and started crushing it into a fine powder.
“What is that?” you asked.
“It’s a Kalaxian crystal, it’s pretty mild like snorting molly kinda,” Summer said, lining up the power.
“I.. don’t know about that,” you said looking at the powder suspiciously.
“Oh, you don’t have to worry about it showing up on a drug test or anything. It’s not detectable with Earth’s drug tests,” Tricia said, setting her hand on your shoulder.
“No, well that’s good to know actually but imma need to see you take a bump before I do,” you said.
“You humor me,” Summer said, using a hundred-dollar bill to snort the powder, her eyes turning a baby blue.
Summer passed the tray to Tricia who mimicked her action. Your heart was racing as her manicured hands passed the tray over to you. Not wanting to come off as a prude, you took the rolled-up bill into your hand and brought it up to your nose. You sniffed the powder into your nose and coughed a little because the taste was so foreign. The two girls lead you downstairs where the party is now packed and a bit unhinged. Couples making out against any available wall space they could find, groups of people who were surrounding a person smoking out of a gravity bong. Drugs by Lil Aaron was blaring out of several speakers, drowning out almost every other sound. The three of you were dancing together in the living room with several of your peers. You were feeling so euphoric and magical; like you could float off the ground if you really tried. It was then that Summer reminded you of the Ciroc bottles that were in the freezer. All three of you took a shot and cringed as it went down. Summer and Tricia left to go to the bathroom leaving you in the kitchen. You were pretty intoxicated at this point and started to wander. You end up in the garage, where Rick is sitting at his workstation.
“Out!” he barked which caused you to jump and gasp due to how loud and aggressive he sounded, he didn’t even look up.
“S-sorry I -which way..” you started but Rick got up and walked over to you. He grabbed your chin and tilted your head up.
“I told Summer to stop giving K-Crystals to her little friends,” he said, seeing the effects from your eyes. You looked over a noticed he had a Woodstock 99’ ticket pinned onto his wall.
“You -hiccup- went to Woodstock 99? You- you’re so lucky you got to see Korn from that crowd,” you slurred without breaking eye contact. He laughed and let go of your chin and walked back to his workstation.
“Did you actually go?” you asked, walking over to him.
“I thought I said to get out earlier,” he said.
“I have selective hearing,” you said, picking up a screwdriver.
“I’m lost, is that supposed to be my problem?” he said.
“Well it -burp- if you really wanted it to be,” you giggled.
“Yeah as much of a catch as you are, I think I’ll pass,” he laughed.
“Oh please I bet I’d be the best pussy you’ve had in months,” you laugh but quickly change expressions as Rick stands up and towers over you.
“Do you really think that you would be an unachievable fantasy to me? Like I’m some sad old stockbroker who has to rely on naivety to get laid? Don’t insult me,” Rick said, taking a sip of his flask without stepping away.
“Your shirt -hiccup- looks so soft, imagine if we could have gone to Woodstock together. You’re so tall that I wouldn’t have to worry about guys reaching up and groping me and I would have the most amazing view of some of the coolest bands of all time,” you said, feeling your high slowly start to come down. He smirked at you before turning around locking the garage door and opening a portal, dragging you through it.
“What- where are we going?” you asked confused, adjusting your eyes to the suddenly sunny skies.
“To call your bluff. There’s no way you could last here, it was kinda a shit show if you didn’t know,” he said.
“I know, I watched the documentary on Netflix,” you said very matter-of-factly.
It took your eye a couple of minutes for them to adjust but once they did, you couldn’t deny you were a little taken back. There really was a lot of nudity and white-boy aggression. You hoped Rick didn’t notice, but every once in a while, you would look behind you to make sure he was nearby. The first thing you wanted to do was get to the airbrush body paint station. You wanted Korn written across your chest in black and pink. At this point, the high of the K-Crystals was completely worn off and all you wanted was a hit of something. It was then you realized you still had your purse, you blindly reached your hand in until you felt your hand hit the cold metal of the battery. Your mouth begins salivating as bring the cart to your lips and take a long drag, blowing it up in the air. You take a couple more drags and notice that the artist has stopped. When you looked down he was just looking up at you. He was probably in his early 30s and had a 90s haircut that was short and spiked with blonde tips. Without breaking contact take another drag and exhale as you speak.
“Sorry, did you want a hit?” you asked playfully, looking over at Rick who was smirking with his arms crossed, evaluating the situation. The guy airbrushing you looked up at Rick who started to speak.
“You know you didn’t come across to me as one of those girls who have nipple piercings,” Rick said.
“Yeah I know, they’re hot right?” you asked to adjust the one that didn’t have any paint on it yet; they were bars with a chain that supported a pink bedazzled saturn charm.
“So uh, Maria is gonna finish up our piece cool?” he said, getting up before either of you could respond which caused both of you to chuckle.
After you were finished up with the body painting tent you made your way to the main stage. Hundreds of teens and young adults were making their way to the exact same location. It was weird because even though you knew what was going to happen, you were still bubbling with anticipation. Rick laughed and mocked you because he knew you had seen exactly what happened and still bubbled with suspense and excitement. When you asked Rick if you could actually sit on his shoulders he didn’t say anything, only nodding in agreement. You were trying to pry about the first time he ever experienced this but he would always give you a bullshit excuse like he was too wasted to remember. As you walked, guys kept approaching you, trying hard to keep conversation. You tried to be polite and at least slow down as you respectfully deny their advance. You even stopped a couple of times but Rick would gently bump into you with his body from behind to keep you walking. Once you got into the crowd, Rick took the arm and pressed his body to your back. He started guiding and shaving his way through the front of the sea of people while having his arms raised, protecting you from the crowd.
Normally if someone was being more polite it would have taken forever to make their way to the front. Rick however wasn’t sparing any feelings as he pushed and shoved. As you people watched, you couldn’t help but take in how different people were in the 90s. One of the biggest things that tripped you out was seeing how different the hair and make-up were of the girls around you. Super thin eyebrows, a thick eyeliner waterline with clumpy mascara. Your lashes were huge and your nails were so long, it felt like everyone was staring at you. Most of the hair extensions were god-awful but you gave them a pass considering this was a festival. The cameras were so retro-looking and looked bulky on the crew’s shoulders. Rick pulled a plastic baggie of pink powder from his lab coat. You assumed these were the same crystals you smoked earlier so didn’t think twice when snorting your fair share. Only later to find out that it was actually Molly, normally you’d be freaking out but I mean… You were in an entirely different dimension. Seemed kinda late for that. Once the intro started, Rick bent down slightly allowing you to sit on his shoulders. You could feel the energy of the crowd growing. It was almost like your heartbeat was getting more intense as the music’s rhythm began picking up.
A camera was coming closer to you, you blew it a kiss and then took a drag of your pen. It could have been because of the drugs but you felt like you were so high in the air, you could see the top of everyone’s head.; like you were a skyscraper. You were truly having the time of your life, it was nice being able to be carefree. Being able to get as wasted or naked as you wanted knowing you had someone to take care of you. You were gently running your fingers through his hair, tugging on it a little bit. You leaned down and whispered into the top of his head,
“Thank you for taking me here, this is amazing,” you said.
He didn’t reply, just ran his hands up and down your leg, starting at your knees and ending at your ankles. You were feeling accomplished that he didn’t get the chance to call your bluff as he put it. When Korn wasn’t playing you could barely hear yourself think over how loud the crowd was. You couldn’t tell if Rick was mad or just concentrating. After a while, you were getting overstimulated by everything going on around you. You asked Rick if you guys could head home, and he opens a portal directly underneath you guys, dropping the both of you back into a garage. You grab the extra tee shirt from your bag and throw it over your body.
“Thanks, we should do it again sometime,” you said before exiting the garage to find summer.

No More Secrets
“Dad Will” Masterlist
A/N: Heeeey! Look what's back! So, I hadn't touched this arc in a while where Dad!Will did some shit and essentially fucked up his marriage. Well this arc finally made some progress like their marriage. Italics (first half) is a flash back.
Rating: T
Word Count: ~3,400
Pairing: Dad!Will x Wife F!Reader
Plot: You and Will continue to make progress on repairing your marriage.
Contains: hurt/comfort, angst
"How does steak and potatoes sound for dinner tonight?" you asked Will as you sipped on your coffee after finishing your breakfast and watched him from across the table while he was glued to his phone.
"Uhhh....yeah, sure," Will replied. “Whatever you want,” he added after finishing whatever he was doing on his phone.
"Okay. What do you have going on today? You're giving a speech today, right?”
“Yeah and then I’m meeting up with Fish for lunch,” he confirmed, then finished up his own cup of coffee.
“He’s back in town?” you asked, sitting up straight.
“Uh, yeah. Are you done with that?” He asked as he got up from his seat and gestured to your mug.
You took the last sip and handed him your cup.
“Thank you.” You looked up and smiled at him but he was already halfway across the kitchen headed for the sink.
You'd noticed Will's been a bit distant lately, like something's been occupying his mind, but every time you asked him about it, he would say it's nothing or he just hadn’t been sleeping well. You even asked if he'd been having those nightmares again, but he said no.
You'd also noticed that the sex between you two had been less frequent, almost to a halt. You had tried initiating a few times and he'd been seemingly disinterested or gave an excuse. And even when you were intimate, he seemed to be somewhere else.
“Oh shit, I gotta go,” Will said as he glanced at his watch.
“Yeah, me too. Let me just grab my purse and we can leave together–” you started as you got up from your seat.
“Sorry, I gotta go now,” he told you as he scrambled to the front door.
“You’ll be home for dinner, right?” you asked.
“Yup! Spaghetti and meatballs!” He replied while halfway out the door. “Have fun at work!”
“Bye! Good luck on your speech!” you waved and quickly spat out as the door behind him closed.
***
You decided to pick up some treats for Will at his favorite bakery and cafe on your lunch break. Maybe that'd help with his mood. It’s across town but you'd decided to take an extra long lunch break. After finally finding parking, you quickly jumped in line as the place was already packed because of lunch time. Thankfully, they always anticipated the crowd. It certainly helped that the counter and dine-in areas were separated in a way to maximize efficiency. After picking out a few things you knew Will indulged in the most and a treat for yourself, you booked it out of there.
After you got into your car, you took a bite of your lemon poppy seed cake and savored it before starting your car to get ready to head back to the office. As you were ready to pull out of the parking spot, you noticed Will coming out of the bakery along with a woman you had never seen before. They stood in front of the bakery, off to the side and exchanged a few words before they embraced in a hug. A hug that lingered while he said a few more things to her. You felt your chest tightening. After they broke apart, they appeared to say their goodbyes and they gave each other a kiss on the cheek and another quick hug before going their separate ways.
You watched as Will made his way to his parked car. As you thought about confronting him then and there, your phone went off, interrupting your thoughts.
***
When you got home, you were surprised to find Will had beat you to it, considering he had been staying out later these days. Even more surprising, he had started dinner.
“Hey! How was work? I know you mentioned spaghetti and meatballs this morning but found these steaks in the fridge so I thought I’d throw them on the grill and roast some potatoes with them,” he said. “Hope that’s okay with you.”
“Yeah, that’s fine,” you told him as you started to settle down.
"So how was lunch with Fish?"
"Huh? Oh, um, it was alright. You know, just catching up and stuff,” he answered, pausing his task for a moment.
"Where'd you guys end up going?" you started walking towards him.
"Uh… he picked this diner by him," he replied.
“Was it any good?”
“It was alright,” he shrugged.
“So… did you have lunch with him before or after you stopped by Astrid’s?” you asked him when you reached him.
“What are you talking about?" He turned to face you.
“Are you seriously going to deny that you were at Astrid’s this afternoon? I saw you with my own eyes,” you told him.
“What were you doing there? Weren't you supposed to be at work?" His body visibly stiffened.
"I stopped by there on my lunch break to get you a brownie because I thought it'd cheer you up!" You told him as you tossed the pastry bag onto the kitchen counter beside him. "I saw you and some woman getting all cozy, hugging and kissing. Is that why you've been so distant? Is-is that why you won't even touch me anymore?" you asked with disgust.
"No..." Will started, then realized what you were implying. "No, no, no! It's not what you think."
"Then what is it? Because these last few months, it feels like you don't even want to be with me anymore. At least be honest with me if you don't want to do this anymore. I can't figure this out on my own and every time I try to talk to you about it, you dismiss it like everything is all good, but it's not. Or am I just going crazy?" You rattled off.
"No, you're not crazy," Will reassured you, placing his hands on your shoulders.
"Then can you please tell me what's going on?" you pleaded with him.
Will shifted his weight to his other leg and let out a sigh. At this point, he knew he couldn’t continue keeping you in the dark.
"Whatever it is, you can tell me. Even if you met someone new or-"
"No, no, it's nothing like that," Will shook his head. "The woman I saw today, she's..."
Will paused, looked down at his feet and propped his hands on his waist, bracing for the words that were about to leave his mouth.
"She's my ex-fiance," he finally finished his sentence.
"O-oh..." you simply responded, taken back by that curve ball. This information actually made your stomach drop even more. "Okay."
"And I asked her if we could meet up," Will continued.
You couldn’t help but get more emotional as you anticipated where he was going with this. Your vision started blurring up but you remained silent as he continued.
"No, please don't cry," he said, reaching out for you, but you instinctively took a step back, creating distance. Will felt crushed by your rejection, but he also understood why you did it.
"I honestly didn't expect her to even respond considering how we left things the last time we saw each other, but she agreed to meet up. I just wanted closure with her, to apologize to her for all that I had put her through," he explained.
You let out a shaky breath.
"Why... why didn't you tell me about this?" you asked.
"I...I don't know. Maybe I wasn't sure how you would feel about it," he admitted.
"So instead of talking to me about it, your solution was to avoid me? Is that the reason you’ve been acting so weird? Not just do we not have sex anymore, but we barely even talk. Not unless I initiate. Things we used to enjoy doing, you don't seem to care or want to do anymore. We live together and I hardly ever see you. You're always out with the guys and come home late, which I get you needing and wanting to spend time with your friends, but it's like you don't even want to be here. And when you are home, you're not here!”
You didn’t want to lash out and wanted to give him the space and chance to explain himself but you were so pent up and riled up from all the speculation after seeing him at the cafe on top of everything that had been going on.
"I'm so sorry," Will apologized. "I know I haven't been the best boyfriend these past few weeks--"
"Months," you corrected him.
"Months," he nodded in agreement.
"Is there anything else? Or is it just this closure you needed with your ex-fiance?" you prodded. "Which, again, I can understand, but I wish you would have at least told me so I’m not left wondering if you don’t care about us anymore."
Will quietly looked down at his shoes again as he rocked on his heels.
"Will, there can't be secrets between us if you want this to work-- IF you want this to work. If you've decided this isn't for you, just say so and-" you rambled on.
"No, of course I want this! I want you," he quickly jumped in, looking straight at you. "I want... us."
You stared at Will, waiting for him to tell you more.
"There... there was also another reason I wanted to meet up with her," he started. "I, uh... I just wanted to make sure I don't make the same mistakes I made with her."
"What... do you mean?" you asked with wrinkled brows.
"I'm so sorry for how I've been treating you these last few months. I've been figuring some things out about myself, figuring what I want and if I'm truly happy where I am with this relationship - our relationship," he started to explain.
"Oh!" A brief chuckle slipped from you, a bit thrown off by his last thought, but you started to frown again, not sure where this is leading up to. "You still could have said something. If you needed space or, or... I don't know,” you shook your head.
"I know. I know. And I am SO sorry I've made you feel unwanted and unloved. That's the last thing I'd ever want for you."
"Are you happy?" you asked him quietly, afraid of what his answer would be. "With me? With us?"
Will just stared at you, studying your face as he thought about his answer. The fact that he'd taken this long confirmed your fear. After what felt like forever, your shoulders slumped and your frown deepened as you nodded. You swallowed the lump in your throat and dropped your head, staring down at the patterned linoleum tiles, now thinking about where you guys were going to go from here. Do you move out? Does he move out? You sniffled and brought your head back up when you felt the mucus coming down your nose. You were taken back when you saw Will on one knee in front of you holding out a velvet box. You opened your mouth but no words or sounds came out. You're not even breathing.
"I was going to plan this whole romantic thing out, a rehearsed speech and all but I just can't wait anymore. I've been waiting for this moment since the first time I laid eyes on you. And to answer your question, in short, yes. I am happy with where we are in this relationship - beyond happy, but nothing would make me happier than to have the privilege of spending the rest of my life with you. You are the most amazing person I have ever met and I am so grateful to have you in my life. Every morning I wake up feeling like the luckiest person in the world and there are many days, especially these past few months, where I wonder what I did to deserve you. You make me a better person and honestly have surprised myself at what I am capable of and who I've become and that's all because of you. You make me want to do better and I want to continue this adventure with you beside me as my life partner, but I had to make sure that I do everything I can to not fuck this up because I would not be able to forgive myself if I do. That's the real reason why I went to see my ex-fiance."
Will spoke from the heart and soul and he instantly felt the weight lifted from his chest. The weight that he had been heavily bearing these last few months.
At this point, you were completely speechless.
"And I know I've been a shit boyfriend these last few months. Not that it’s an excuse, but I was scared - not of committing to you, but of me making the same mistakes. Of me fucking all this up and losing you. And clearly I had been unknowingly doing the exact thing I was afraid I’d do. I'm so sorry I pushed you away, but I promise I will spend the rest of my life making it up to you if you let me."
Tears now streamed down your face.
"I love you so, SO much. Will you marry me?"
He held his breath, waiting for your answer. He hoped that he didn’t mess up his chances too much.
You looked down at him with blurry eyes and finally nodded.
“Is… is that a yes?” Will cautiously asked.
“Yes!” You confirmed as you nodded again.
He sprung up onto his feet and wrapped his arms tightly around you. You melted against his chest and instantly felt your heart fill to the brim. He gently untangled himself from you to slip the ring onto your finger. It fit a little loose but it was beautiful.
“We can get that adjusted. It was my grandmother’s,” he explained.
“It’s perfect,” you said while admiring it.
“I love you,” Will pulled you in, pressing his forehead against yours.
"I love you too. Promise me, no more secrets?" you asked as you sniffled and looked up at him. “You’re not completely off the hook yet but let’s not go through that again, please.”
"I promise. No more secrets," Will agreed as he swiped his thumb under your eyes before leaning in to kiss you.
***
You finally allowed Will back into the bedroom. As comfortable as that couch may be, you know it’s doing his back no favors. You also think maybe he’s gone through enough punishment. It’s been a couple of months and he has not complained once. He’s done everything you’ve asked and has been consistent about it so it’s time you show you’re starting to trust him again. This really takes effort from both of you, not just him.
The two of you are on better terms and doing the best to make it as normal as possible for Lucy but your relationship is nowhere near where it used to be. You can’t even recall the last time the two of you were intimate. Not even a kiss or a hug. Sure, Will would be affectionate when you allowed him to: a brush of his hand on yours, a small peck on your cheek or temple, but anything more, you haven’t even thought about it and he hasn’t pushed it either. He knows he needs to earn it.
After settling into your side of the bed with your back to Will, you feel his arm snake around your waist and then pull you against his body. You stiffen for a moment. As much as you have missed your husband’s touch, you haven’t felt it in so long, it almost seems foreign. You allow him to cuddle with you but after a few moments, you feel his lips on your neck and his hand exploring your body. You immediately sit up.
“I’m sorry, I thought—“
“Will, just because I’m letting you sleep in the same bed again, it doesn’t mean I’m ready to be intimate again.”
You thought you were ready for things to get back to the way it used to but in this moment, you realize you’re not sure if that’ll ever be possible. You’re still hurt and the fact he thinks he can just ask for sex like nothing happened infuriates you.
“I’m so sorry. I assumed. I’ll back off until you’re ready,” Will says, scooting back to his side, putting some distance between the two of you.
“I just want to make love to my wife,” he adds quietly with sad eyes. “I miss you. And I don’t just mean the sex.”
“No, I’m sorry. I don’t even know if I’ll ever be ready. I’m… I just still get so angry every time I think about you and...” You let out a heavy sigh trying to calm yourself down.
“Hey, you have nothing to be sorry about." Will sits up. "I’m the one who put us in this situation and the fact you’re giving me a chance to fix this, I’m already grateful. I don’t want to lose you and Lucy. I can’t. I promise I’ll do whatever it takes to make this work again."
"I... I don't know. Just thinking the what ifs, and worst case scenarios and losing you— hell, Lucy losing you. How am I supposed to explain to her that her father did something so selfish and stupid? I want things to be the way they used to be, but I don't know how or when, or even if it'll ever get close to it again." A tear falls down your cheek.
"I know," he nods.
"And I've spent so much time wondering what else you could’ve lied to me about," you add. “What else are you hiding.”
"I swear on my grandmother's grave, there is nothing else. I've never lied to you about anything else," he assures you. "Aside from the ice cream thing and maybe letting Lucy stay up past her bedtime a few times when I said I wouldn't," he adds with a tight-lipped smile, hoping to lighten up the mood, but your facial expression doesn't budge when you glare at him.
"I'm sorry, not the time for jokes," he says. "But I promise you, I'm not hiding anything else. I haven't hid anything else. You can check my phone, computer, iPad, everything--"
"I don't want to do that,” you cut him off. “I don't want to have to do that. If I do, then I don't want to do this anymore."
"What... what are you saying?" he asks, bracing himself.
"I want to trust you again and I am trying, but I don’t want it to have to come down to me constantly checking up on you. That’s not trust. That’s… “ you try to think of the word you’re looking for, “Babysitting."
”I… I don't know,” you shake your head and sigh.
Will watches you as you close your eyes and steady your breathing. You flinch and open your eyes when you feel his hand over yours.
"I promise this time, no more secrets. And I know my words may not hold any value right now, but I will show you that I am all in."
“Stop making promises if you don’t know you can keep them,” you shake your head. You look back at him with teary eyes as his thumb fingers your wedding ring which you've kept on this entire time throughout this whole mess. “Let’s just take this a day at a time, okay?”
“Okay. I can do that,” he nods, knowing his words definitely don’t mean anything if his actions don’t follow.
"It's getting late and I know you need your beauty sleep for your weekly Monday morning meeting tomorrow. I'm sorry for riling you up and making you cry," he says, and then cautiously reaches over to swipe his thumb under your eyes.
“And I’m sorry for…” he vaguely gestures his hands towards your body. “I won’t try that again, not unless you’re ready. I’m happy just being beside you. Can I give you a good night kiss?”
You look back at him for a moment, determining if you want one and then nod. He slowly leans in and plants a tender kiss on your cheek.
“Good night. I love you.” He settles himself back into bed and you do the same.
“Good night,” you finally say before closing your eyes. “I love you, too.”

This is based on a true story. Since it was years ago, I had to sort of fabricate some of the fine details and dialogue, but for all intents and purposes, you can consider this a true story.
Feedback welcome ?
Some years ago, I had an online omo friend, who took joy from making me hold for her, so I told her that she could control what I drink, and when I would be allowed to release it. I would come to find out, I had no idea what I was getting myself into.
At the time, I had been doing quite a bit of holding, and had developed a rather large bladder from it. I believe at the time I could hold somewhere around 1700 ml.
The morning we began, I was allowed to pee at 11 a.m. and told only to drink if I was thirsty. Now, this struck me as rather odd, since I was expecting her to want me desperate that night, after my parents went to bed. (I was in college, but staying with them for the summer)
They day carried on as normal, with me drinking fairly little. (which is about normal for me. Terrible, I know.) I had a glass of water with my lunch, and sipped down another over the course of the afternoon. What also surprised me was how little I heard from the girl in charge of my bladder. It was getting close to dinner time when I got the text: “Have an extra glass of water with dinner ? ” and of course my response was “yes ma'am” as always. For the time being, it had to be. I wasn’t worried about the extra glass, I barely felt anything in my bladder at all at this point.
So, as 7:00 approached, dinner came, and as instructed, I had my glass of water, finished it as I ate, and had another before it was over. By 8, dinner was done and cleaned up, so I texted her again, asking if I had any more instructions. No reply. The next few hours went by without much excitement. I watched some tv, and felt the water from dinner make its way into my bladder. By 10:00 I was feeling those little bladder twinges, hinting at me to go to the bathroom. Not anything I would call urgent, though.
By 11, I was growing tired, and a little impatient. I was ready to give up this game and go to bed, since it wasn’t really turning out to be that exciting.
“Hey, I’m getting ready to go to bed pretty soon… Can I go pee now?”
Finally! A response.
“No, you can hold it. Goodnight ;* ”
Oh.
Well that’s not how I thought that would go…
Usually that’s when these things end..
It’s a little concerning, but at least it’s interesting now.
So I head to bed. For someone that usually pees right before bed every night, going to bed with a slight urge to pee was a very strange feeling, and so it took a good while for me to finally drift off to sleep.
7:00- I wake up, and the very first thing I notice is my bladder, now with 20 hours of urine collected inside it. It was full. Not bursting, but definitely uncomfortable. I could definitely do with some relief at this point, so I text her.
“Good morning”
“Good morning! How did you sleep?”
“Pretty well. It took a little while to get there though. But um… I kinda need to pee.. pretty badly now.. Can I go please? I haven’t since yesterday morning”
“Aw, does someone need a potty break? How bad is it?”
“Well, it definitely wants out, although the urge has died back a little since I first woke up. It’s under control. It feels full and heavy, like there’s a canteloupe in my stomach.”
“So it’s under control? Good! Because I wasn’t planning on letting you go. If I did, then you wouldn’t be full for tonight ? ”
“TONIGHT?! I can’t wait that long! I already really need to go!”
“I think you can do it ?
Oh, and make sure you have a glass of water with lunch ;* check in with me after that. TTYL”
I really had no idea how I was going to wait that long.. But I had my orders.
So I went about my morning as usual, doing some chores and working on a couple little projects I had going on. As I got used to the fullness in my bladder, it became slightly less distracting, but it was always there, and it would always catch my attention again sooner or later. All I could do was bounce my knees a little and try to push it to the back of my mind.
The morning dragged on, but eventually lunchtime came. I just made myself a sandwich, nothing fancy, and the obligatory glass of water to wash it down. My bladder was not happy about the water. Every drink seemed to go straight into it, even though I knew better. I spent much of lunch bouncing my knees under the table to cope with the water I had to drink, but nobody was around too close, so I could get away with it. And as instructed, when I finished my lunch, I texted her an update on my condition.
Afterwards, I took to some reading, hoping that getting lost in a book would help take my mind off my bladder. And after 30 minutes of trying to get focused on it, it did start to work. Unfortunately, it was short lived, as right about then, my phone buzzed.
“Glad to hear you’re holding up so well. I think now would be a perfect time for you to do the dishes, since you’ll need to anyway, and your bladder isn’t going to get any better, don’t you think? ? ”
*Oh no.. dishes.. Just what I need. *
I get up, and notice that while I was reading, the water from lunch had made its way to my bladder, which had now reached the next level of fullness. I felt like I had a large water balloon in my stomach. It was so full that it made me want to bend forward slightly, and I had to put extra effort into standing up straight and not drawing attention to myself.
*Oh no, this isn’t good… It’s only 1:30.. I still have at least 9 hours until everyone else goes to sleep… I don’t know if I can do this..*
So I go downstairs and start on the dishes. Ohhh dishes on a full bladder is not fun.. It took everything I had not to squirm around while the water was running. Even worse when my hands were in the water. I’ve never done dishes faster in my life. I just wanted to be done with them.
After what felt like 2 hours, and was really probably only 20 minutes, I was finally finished with the dishes, and ohh boy my bladder was not happy.. As soon as I dried my hands, I retreated to my room so I could make a private show of squirming around and grabbing myself to try and get the urge back under control. After several minutes of this, my bladder started to calm down a bit, and reverted to the (mostly) dull fullness that I had been getting used to. Although, it still felt fuller this time… so full..
“Hey.. doing the dishes with my bladder like this was really hard! I really don’t know if I can make it to tonight.. it’s so full.. I’ve never even held it this long before! Are you sure I can’t go pee? Pleasseee?"
After a few minutes with no reply, I decide to go back to reading again. It’s even tougher to get into this time. I can’t even find a comfortable position to sit with my full bladder being unhappy with even the slightest pressure on it. But I keep trying, because I’m sure that being totally distracted by a book is the only way I’m going to make it through the many hours that I have left to hold.
Eventually, I do get into the groove with reading, despite being interrupted by a strong urge from my bladder every ten minutes or so. Read, squeeze, read, don’t pee, read, just hold it, read, don’t look at the clock, read, squirm, read. Amazingly, I was able to get invested in the story, and not realize that hours had passed while I was reading.
When I came to, it was close to 6:00, and my bladder was making itself known, constantly. It had become too distracting to read. There was a constant urge to squirm. I needed something more engaging than a book now.. I noticed I’d missed a message:
"Aw, but you’re doing so well so far! I know you can do it, just hang in there ? Oh, and don’t forget to drink a glass of water with dinner ? AND fill up a glass to take back to your room afterwards. I’ll talk to you then ;* ”
Aghh even the thought of having to drink more water made me squirm again.. I really didn’t know how I was going to keep this up. I was getting depserate and I still had something like 4 hours to go. So I fired up the gamecube to try and get distracted. Legend of Zelda usually keeps me pretty occupied, so I give that a shot. And it works. Sort of. It does take my mind off of my bladder, but it doesn’t stop me from bouncing my legs and shifting around almost the whole time I’m playing.
Next thing I know it’s 7:15, and I’m being called downstairs for dinner. Or rather, to help get dinner on the table. When I stood up, the new fullness in my bladder hit me hard. I couldn’t believe how full it was. I had to bend over and squirm for a minute before I could go down there. At this point, I was worried.. I really didn’t know how I was going to hide it while I was down there with everyone else..
Downstairs helping get the food ready, it was difficult to stay stood up straight, and stay still, and don’t pee. Hold it, hold it, hold it. After a few agonizing minutes on my feet, I finally got to sit down again. But the struggle wasn’t over yet. Did I mention we have a glass table? Which means no cover for me. So I spend the next 45 minutes sitting there, surrounded by family, doing everything I can not to fidget and squirm with 33 hours of pee trying to burst out, all the while adding to it by drinking the glass I had been instructed to have, every drink feeling like a whole glass being poured into my bladder, all while trying to stay in conversation and seem like a normal person who hadn’t been holding their pee for over a day.
Finally, dinner was over. But this didn’t mean relief. No, instead it meant that it was time for me to help clean up. Which was absolute torture. It was just like getting ready for dinner all over again, but this time with the added torture of the water I drank with dinner gradually filtering into my bladder. I rushed to get everything cleaned up as quickly as possible, because my bladder was filling, I was already close to my limit, and it showed no signs of slowing down. As soon as I figured it was acceptable to do so, I retreated to my room once more, this time to make an even bigger spectacle for whatever ghosts were watching, doing a full on pee dance and holding myself, so glad to finally be alone again so I can tend to my ever-fuller bladder.
*Ok, it’s 8:45.. they usually go to bed around 10 or 10:30.. So.. an hour and a half? Can I hold it for an hour and a half? nghhh I don’t knowwww*
“Hey.. that water from dinner is setting in.. I’m getting really desperate now.. please, I really really gotta go ? ”
“Aw, you poor thing.. you must be so desperate by now! But you haven’t leaked yet, have you?”
“Miraculously, I haven’t… but I probably will soon! Please let me go”
“I’m glad to hear you haven’t leaked yet! I think you’re gonna be okay. You’re just gonna have to hold it a little longer, okay? At least until everyone is in bed. Let me know when that happens, then we’ll discuss getting you some relief. No leaks! good luck ? ”
*aghh nghh fuck.. I don’t think I can do this *
9:00- At this point, my bladder was so full, I was constantly putting forth effort just to keep the pee from spurting out, squirming, grabbing myself, I couldn’t even think straight. I thought about reading, but I couldn’t possibly concentrate on it, being so desperate. I thought about trying to play LoZ again, but I felt the need to hold myself about 1/3 of the time, and I knew I was gonna need to hold myself as much as possible if I was going to make it for another hour or more. I finally settled on getting on youtube to try and pass the time. So there I sat for the next 30 minutes, holding myself, squirming, fidgeting, and doing everything I possibly can to alleviate the urge even just a little bit. Then my phone buzzed.
“Oh, and that last glass of water you were supposed to bring to your room after dinner? I want that finished before you text me again ? ”
FUCK
I really wished she would have just forgotten about that glass.. just like I had… Dammit. Now I had to go back downstairs and get that glass.
I stood up and gave the pee dance everything I had for a minute, just to try and get it all out of my system for the 2 minutes it would take to go down and get that glass. I took everything I had to stand up straight, keep my legs still, and go downstairs. I had to keep my composure solid as I walked through the living room to the kitchen (where I was still in view). I started pouring the water. I really thought that was going to break me. My breathing all but stopped while the water was flowing, and the stress that seeing it put on my bladder caused me to leak just one tiny little spurt.
*Shit shit shit! I’m leaking, standing 30 feet from my parents! *
I made a beeline back to my room, luckily without any more incidents. This was getting out of hand, I was so desperate. Once in private again, I did a full on pee dance.
After I had managed to calm my bladder down just a little (LITTLE) bit, I went back to watching youtube, this time with more squirming than last time, and a constant grip on myself, just to make sure there were no leaks.
*9:45… okay, just keep holding it, you can do it.. just don’t pee.. hold it, hold it, hold it*
*10:00.. okay, 1/3 of my glass is gone, so that’s good, and hopefully it won’t be too long until everyone’s in bed.. *
At about 10:10, I had to stand up and pace around the room, doing a pee dance and squirming and holding myself, I just needed to move around to take the edge off. 10:20 I sit down again.
*10:25 gotta pee gotta pee gotta pee aghh fuck I’m so desperate I have to pee NOW nghh…
Wait… no, they can’t.. are they watching a movie?? fuck I’m gonna piss myself *
*10:30 shit, I have to drink that water too nghhhh *
At this point, I finished off another 1/3 of my glass, and my bladder revolted. It cramped and squeezed and forced another spurt out before I could even reach down to stop it.
*10:40 Dammit! when are they gonna go to bed! I’m pissing myself over here! *
At 10:45 I finally heard them turn off the tv and start heading to bed. Meanwhile, I’m pacing around my room, bent over, squirming all over the place, holding myself with two hands, doing everything I can to hold onto just under 36 hours of boiling piss that’s just ready to explode.
With great effort, I pull one hand away to text her.
“Okay, they’re going to bed now, and I’m holding with two hands just to not piss myself! Please, I need to pee, now!”
10:50, I heard them close their door. Now I had the freedom to move about the house, as long as I was quiet, but that didn’t help me much, because I still didn’t have permission to pee!
*aghh fuck, the water *
So I finished my glass of water. This time I drank with one hand and held myself tightly with the other, and fortunately I was able to prevent any leaks, but not for a lack of trying on my bladder’s part. I was fit to burst, any moment now.
10:55: “Aw, someone really really needs a potty break now, huh? You poor thing.. but you can hold a little more for me, can’t you? You can ? ”
“No, I really can’t, I’m about to burst, please let me go!”
“Hmm I guess we’ll just see about that… Go downstairs bathroom and get on skype with me”
11:00- We started the skype call. These never end well for me..
H: aw, look at you, so desperate, squirming around.. you really need to go, don’t you?
M: Yes, I really do, please let me go
-At this point, I’m holding myself, my knees pressed tight together, bobbing up and down, breathing heavily
H: mmm not yet, I’m just starting to have fun. You can hold it for me a little longer, can’t you? 5 minutes?
M: i..I’m sorry, but n.no, I don’t think I can hold it another minute..
H: What’s that? Are you telling me no?
M: Agh.. i..I’m sorry, I mean.. Y..Yes ma'am, I’ll hold as l.long as you say..
-Trembling at this point, leaks threatening to burst through my fingers
H: That’s more like it ? Now, let’s try taking those hands away..
M: I ccan’t.. please.. I’ll pee..I..
H: Do it.
M: Y..yes ma'am..
-As soon as I release my grip, a large spurt bursts out, and I have to squirm and dance like crazy just to reduce it to a light drip
H: Stop that!
M: I’m t..trying
-I barely manage to gasp out. I’m so desperate I can barely breathe. With 36 hours of hot piss in my bladder, some of it keeps dribbling out, and all the squirming and dancing I can do can’t stop it
And that’s when I feel it.. that last drink I took from my glass of water.. It was choosing this moment to enter my bladder, and that was it. That was all I could take. I felt my already watermelon-sized bladder expand a bit more for just a second, I felt fuller than I had previously thought possible, and then the leaky dam burst. The dribble turned into spurts, into a stream, into a torrent, and next thing I know, I’m soaking from the waist down, and there was absolutely nothing I could do to stop it. After 36 hours, my bladder finally won.
H: Aw, you’re having an accident? You really did have to go didn’t you? tsk tsk.. It looks like you’re going to need some more practice controlling your bladder…

Steve was bored.
Like, it was about to become a problem type of bored. He was practically falling asleep at his desk and he was already on warning after being late to work. You’d think his boss would be a little kinder for something as simple as sleeping through an alarm, but noooooo. She had to ‘make an example’, apparently. What a bitch. Instant written warning, no second chances.
Great.
It didn’t even happen for a good reason anyway. He binged some dumb Netflix show and kept hitting ‘Next Episode’ until 4am. It wasn’t even well written. So now here he was with a weight behind his eyes and half a mind to write a strongly worded letter to find out what the hell the writers were thinking with that ending.
He would have called out entirely if it wasn’t Wednesday. Steve’s favourite day of the week, because Wednesday was the day the interns from the business campus across town came in.
They were all Steve’s age or thereabouts, his status as a nepo baby securing his less-than-desirable spot in his father’s business behind this stupid desk, and under the watchful eye of Diane, right out of highschool. He envied how the students came in, sat in the corner of meetings and took frantic notes, before going off in a great big gaggle for lunch together while Steve ate a foil wrapped ham and cheese sandwich alone in the staff break room.
So Wednesday meant interns, meant crowded meetings, meant loud discussions of how to split a deli tab, meant Eddie.
Eddie.
Steve could barely keep his eyes off him any time he paraded through the office. His grey slacks were on the borderline of being too baggy for dress code, his white shirt was never tucked in but it was fitted to the point of maybe it was just a size too small, so it didn’t matter anyway. Even his slim black tie, flying around as Eddie bounced through the office, gave an extra endearing quality to the man. And the mop of curly hair, haphazardly thrown up into a bun on top of his head? Don’t get Steve started.
Steve had been looking for an ‘in’ for months now. Time was running out, the internship programme would be ending soon and Wednesday would go back to being just a regular day. No students, no Eddie. Steve tried once or twice to say hi when they passed in the parking lot but Eddie only ever offered a distracted smile before going back to whatever he was doing on his phone. He never even took out his headphones.
It wasn’t until Steve was sitting in the break room one Thursday, forcing himself to chew through stale bread and ham that had smelled better yesterday, that he finally got a chance. He was silently stewing at the fact Diane was forcing him to reenter a huge data sheet of figures later on that day. He fucking hated reentries, and she knew it.
“Hey,” said Eddie, standing at the door before sitting across from Steve at the table.
Steve realised he’d gone too long without replying when Eddie’s eyebrows quirked inwards.
“Hey, hi, yeah…. Hey,” said Steve quickly. He was suddenly very aware of how bland his grey shirt/navy sweater combo looked in comparison to Eddie’s….everything. It didn’t matter that Eddie was dressed in monotone greys today, it was just him.
“You’re not usually here on Thursdays,” said Steve, aiming for casual.
Eddie smirked.
“Yeah well,” he said, leaning back heavily in his chair. “I messed up some figures yesterday so I offered to come in today to fix it. No classes in the afternoon so, made sense,”
Eddie finished with a shrug. Steve had no idea what he’d just said because this was actually the first time he’d heard Eddie’s voice without the buzz of the entire office in the background and he felt like he wanted to swim in it.
“Cool, cool,” said Steve, hoping that was an appropriate response.
Eddie nodded and regarded Steve carefully, eyes dragging over the parts of him that weren’t hidden by the table.
“You take a lot of notice when I’m here….?” began Eddie, leaning forward and motioning for Steve to fill in the blank.
“Oh, S-Stephen, Steve, uh, Steve,” he stammered, clearing his throat.
“Steve,” repeated Eddie slowly. “I’m Eddie,”
Steve knew his name. Had made a mission of finding it out. Broke six different company policies on privacy to find it after the first week.
Steve just nodded, shy now.
“So tell me, Steve,” said Eddie, dragging his teeth over his lip when he said Steve’s name. “Do you always notice when I’m not here?”
“It’s…It’s intern day, Wednesdays,” floundered Steve. “You’re an intern. Wednesday is your day. To be here, I mean, and this is…Thursday, so…”
Eddie’s eye narrowed as a grin tugged on the edge of his mouth.
“Desk 405, right?” asked Eddie, pulling a piece of paper out of his pocket. “Third cubicle past the bathrooms, right next to the cooler?”
Steve’s mouth dropped open.
“Yeah, yes, uh, how did…” Steve cleared his throat again. “Why do you know where my desk is?”
Eddie stood, pocketing the paper again.
“You’re the one who’s going to help me fix my mistake,” said Eddie, rapping his knuckles on the table, calling over his shoulder as he left. “Thank Diane, she said you love data reentry,”
Steve did always like Diane.

Love Comes Quietly Ch 6
Alex Blake x reader warnings: language, some minor chaos not sure how much i like this chapter, and i honestly feel like t's been way too fucking long since i've written but i know that's not true. but we're moving forward and getting more plot so... yeah... dont hate me lololol.
It wasn’t often that Alex woke up to an empty house and if you’d asked her, she say that today, it felt rather strange. She’d gotten so used to you being around in the mornings that even despite knowing you had to be at work early, something was almost… off about it. She couldn’t help but smile at the coffee pot being full, a little sticky note stuck to the outside with a smiley face on it. She was ever thankful for your thoughtfulness, pouring herself out a mug before getting started on her breakfast. She was even more thankful that it was Friday and the weekend was finally on the horizon. Not that it had been an overly stressful week or anything, you hadn’t even had to leave DC area for a case, it had been a pretty boring week, she was just excited for a break.
Finally she managed to drag herself away from the crossword, having to leave it half completed so she wasn’t late for work herself. Grabbing her bag she tucked her lunch inside it and scooped up her keys, heading to the front door and it was there she found the entry way table scattered with today’s mail. Mail that had clearly distracted you on your way out the door, a container and a now stone cold coffee sitting beside the envelopes. She chuckled, scooping up the container before letting herself out of the house.
*
You hadn’t been concerned at all about your six month review, after all it was just with Emily and you knew that you’d been doing your job and meeting if not exceeding expectations. She’d gone over a handful of things with you, asked if you had any questions and then the two of you had spent another near half hour in her office chatting. Eventually she got a phone call and you muttered something about finishing up paperwork so you didn’t have to take it home with you, returning to your desk.
Which is exactly where Alex found you when she got into the office.
“Think you might be missing something.” She smirked, sliding the Tupperware out of her bag and onto your desk, “and I picked you up a fresh refill.” A steaming Starbucks cup made home next to your forgotten lunch and you glanced up to her with a wide smile.
“Oh you are a godsend!” You reached out to grab the coffee, taking a sip, completely unsurprised when she’d picked up your seasonal favourite, “thank you. I didn’t even realize.”
“You would have by lunch time.”
“You’ve got me there.” You laughed.
“What was so distracting in that mail?”
“Nothing exciting.” Rolling your eyes you took another sip, “late car payment, they didn’t update my address when I asked. Got it taken care of on the drive in though.”
“Good.” She smiled softly, “you want me to throw that in the fridge?”
“That’d be amazing, thank you.” You flashed her a smile before turning back to your work and Alex picked up the container, dropping her bag at her desk before disappearing into the break room. While she was in there she figured why not and fixed a second mug of coffee for herself.
“Morning.” Emily’s voice rang through the air as Alex tossed the stir stick into the garbage, glancing up at the other woman.
“Morning.” She shot her a warm smile over the brim of her cup, watching Emily pick up the coffee pot, draining it of liquid. She added cream and sugar into the mug before quickly refilling the machine to brew again. “That long of a day already?” She asked with a laugh and Emily huffed her own laugh out.
“It’s the extra early mornings, they’re just not for me.” Emily shook her head, taking a sip of her coffee, “did you know that Murphy got up early enough to go for a run before coming in today?”
“I was still blissfully dead to the world.” Alex replied with a chuckle.
Emily’s phone pinged and she let out a sigh, doing her best not to roll her eyes, it felt like anyone and everyone was demanding things of her today and it was barely past nine. Her eyes scanned through the email, letting out a huff and she glanced up to Alex.
“I know you just got in, but is there any chance you can make sure to get those reports for the Reyez case to me today?”
“Of course.” Alex nodded, “I’ll put them at the top of my to do list.”
“Thank you.” Emily smiled softly, taking a breath when her phone started ringing. Picking up her very needed coffee she answered, disappearing back into the hallway to retreat back to her office.
The day went on quite like that, everyone had small wrap up assignments, paperwork, or other odd tasks to occupy them. While it was mainly quiet in the bullpen there were little spurts of conversation, debates over topics or call backs to cases if someone needed reminders. Shortly after lunch Alex finished up with her task, knocking on Emily’s office door with an extra coffee in one hand and files in the other.
“Figured you might need a pick me up.” She greeted, placing the mug down on her desk.
“Thank you.” Emily responded, immediately grabbing the mug to take a sip, “you really know how to boost morale.”
“Oh I’m not done yet.” Alex chuckled, revealing the small tub of chocolate covered espresso beans from her pocket, “here. A pick me up always needs an extra afternoon treat too.”
“Well you’ve officially become my favourite team member. Don’t tell the others.”
Alex laughed, settling into a chair across from her desk as she placed the file folders into Emily’s inbox, “I did a follow up call with the girl’s parents, you’ll be happy to know that her recovery’s going well and they’re already done with the nightmares.”
“God you really are the best, aren’t you?” Emily chuckled, “think that’s the part that we always lose track of, we leave town and move onto a new case before we can even really close the last one.”
“Yeah.” Alex frowned slightly, accepting a chocolate treat when Emily offered it to her.
“Okay but I need a break, talk to me about anything aside from work.”
“Do you have big plans for the weekend? Another round of debaucherous mini golf?” She smirked and Emily let out a huff, playfully glaring in her direction.
“Absolutely not. It sounded a lot better than it turned out. I’d prefer this weekend to be hangover free.”
“I heard that McDonald’s ended up not treating you very well.”
“I will never look at a Big Mac the same way again.” She grimaced, “hey, thanks for the hospitality, even if you didn’t know I was there til the next morning.” She laughed, “the house is super nice.”
“Don’t think I didn’t see you eyeing the pool.” Alex teased.
“More like I wanted to drown myself in it that morning.”
“Well I think more than a few of us would be against that.” She chuckled, pulling a laugh from Emily as she took another sip of coffee.
“How’re things at the house? You finding it weird to be living with someone again?” Emily was genuinely interested, at this point she was just trying to distract herself.
“They’re great! We’ve really fallen into a good routine, it’s actually nice to have someone else around all the time again. You know when you’re living alone and it feels like there’s just constantly something to be done, whether it’s cooking or dishes, or cleaning and you have to do it because it’s your mess? Now it just feels lighter, and she’s good company to have around, but you already know that.”
“Yeah.” Emily’s eyes drifted toward the window, watching you work away at your desk, “she doesn’t bring work home all the time does she?”
“No more than the rest of us.” Alex replied with a chuckle, “she’d prefer to keep her weekends for play unless we’re out on a case.”
“You really keep her grounded, you know that?”
“Well one of us has to.” She teased with a sly grin and Emily scoffed.
“Hey! I’m just trying to make sure she’s having a fun time settling into DC.”
“Well you’re succeeding.”
“What about you?” Emily asked, leaning forward to grab another chocolate, “you getting out and having some fun on the weekends?”
“Emily please.” She laughed, “the last time I did something like drunk mini golf was probably ten years ago.”
“So what you’re saying is next time I have a stupid idea we’re dragging you along.”
“Oh, no. You girls can keep your fun to yourselves.” She chuckled, “but I appreciate the thought.”
“Guess I’ll have to think of something tame then.” Emily grinned, “but seriously, you can’t tell me you just sit around the house all weekend?”
“Sometimes, yes.” She admitted with a laugh, “with our workload? Sometimes all you need is a nice break, a good book out in the sunshine. Maybe some people think it’s boring but sometimes it’s all you need. Other times, I’ll get out in the city, even if it’s just by myself.”
“I take it that means you haven’t started dating again?”
“No.” Alex let out a loud laugh, “and I honestly don’t know if I want to bother.”
“Oh c’mon…” Emily prompted, “what’s gonna hurt about a couple of free dinners?”
“James and I made it work because he was gone just as much as I was, I don’t know if I have the energy to work through all of that again. Besides, at my age I figured I was kinda just done.”
“Alex, please, we’re basically the same age.”
“And you constantly talk about being married to the job.” She shot back with a playful grin.
“I’ll download an app if you will.” She offered, “hell, I’m sure we could get Murphy into it.”
Alex had never been more thankful for the interruption of a knock at the door, Emily calling out to come in before you popped up in the doorway.
“Hey, sorry to interrupt.”
“We’re doing literally anything but work, what’d you need?” Emily asked.
“Okay well if you weren’t working then I feel less bad about this… I was looking at listings, how’s Crestwood for a neighborhood?”
“Sweetheart that’s a five minute drive from our place.” Alex replied with a small laugh.
“Oh, okay, perfect.” You smiled back, “I’ve got a couple places in there and a couple in Glover Park lined up to go see on Sunday, you free?”
“I fly to Boston Saturday.”
“Fuck, right. I forgot you were teaching next week.” You glanced to the other woman, “Em?”
“I didn’t have any plans yet, sure.”
“Remember that even if you’re wildly hungover I’m still dragging you with me.”
“I don’t plan on taking any shots for the foreseeable future.”
“Yeah… you said that two weeks before mini golf.”
“I will be there!”
“Thank you.” You replied, dragging out the final vowel in a sing song voice, “and… I may have found a place in Alexandria that’s doing an open house today but only til five…?” You practically pouted at her and Emily laughed, playfully rolling her eyes.
“You were here early; you can cut out early. Just keep your phone on the chance we catch a case.”
“Will do boss!”
**
You’d made the grave mistake of napping once you’d gotten home from the open house and now you just knew you were going to be paying for it. At the very least, it was Friday so a late night probably wouldn’t hurt that much and if you were being honest, you preferred it. There was something calming about being awake while the rest of the world slept. Though, not everyone was sleeping.
Your head swiveled from your spot on the couch when you heard Alex’s door open and she wandered down the hallway, smiling softly at you.
“Oh god, I’m so sorry.” Your hand darted out to grab the remote, turning the volume on the tv down, “I didn’t mean to wake you up.”
“You didn’t.” She replied with a small huff, crossing through the kitchen to pull down a wine glass, filling it with merlot, “I thought it was anxiety about the flight tomorrow so I did some middle of the night packing thinking that would help.”
“I take it, it didn’t?”
“Nights are just weird, a little restless a lot of the time. Even if James wasn’t here all the time it’s still weird, first it was a struggle to sleep in the empty house, then it was readjusting to having someone around. Reminding myself that the weird bump in the night wasn’t to be worried about.” She rounded the side of the couch, leaning on the arm, “what’re you doing up? You’re not still working are you?”
“Very lazily.” You laughed, flipping the file folder closed, “just knew I wouldn’t be able to sleep yet, I prefer the night owl lifestyle anyways.”
“Explains the coffee addiction.” Alex smirked and you chuckled, “what’ve you got on?” She asked, gesturing toward the tv and you looked up at it.
“Uh… god, don’t judge me.” You laughed, “Love Island.”
“I can’t say I’ve seen a single episode.”
“It’s a little over the top dramatic, but it’s also really good mind numbing television after a long week.”
“Understandable.”
Alex slipped down the arm of the couch, nestling into the corner of the couch opposite you, her gaze on the screen and you turned the volume back up. Your eyes flitted between the file on your lap and the screen intermittently until you needed to get up to grab a refill and you let out a soft sigh, finally tossing the folder onto the coffee table. With your attention no longer on work, you were able to keep up a more frequent conversation with Alex, laughter and jokes about the show, a few questions that you answered considering you’d seen it before. Along with little comments about the upcoming weekend and how you were going to spend your free time, how long Alex was going to be in Boston for and if she had plans to see Daniela while out there.
A few hours passed, Love Island continuing into a marathon, keeping both of you fully occupied and invested. Alex caught herself laughing over just how ridiculous everything was, yet she was someone still completely enthralled with the entire thing. Her mind wandered back to the conversation in Emily’s office, wondering if the dating world had really progressed into something that needed this level of extremity.
“Alright,” She started, taking a sip of her wine, “I know a lot of this must be fake and extra dramatic for the show, but please tell me the dating world isn’t really that bad?” She looked toward you and you scoffed out a laugh,
“Alex, dating is a fucking joke. I think I’d rather end up on Love Island than have to navigate this bullshit. At least then I’d be guaranteed to be surrounded by attractive people and have the bonus of getting paid to do it.” You laughed, pulling one from her as well as she shifted on the couch so you were more facing each other.
“Is the terribleness why you’re not dating?” A brow raised in your direction and you shrugged, shaking your head.
“I just can’t really be bothered. I mean, we don’t exactly have a lot of downtime from work and to have to put in that much effort on days off? Ugh.”
“You’re in a new city, plenty of new suitors.” She grinned and you playfully rolled your eyes, nudging at her leg with your foot.
“Doesn’t help me meet any of them. Everything nowadays seems to be trapped on dating apps, and they’re a nightmare on their own, never mind being a queer woman attempting to use one.”
“How so?” She asked and you chuckled, “what? Oh come on, enlighten someone who’s never used one.”
“You looking to get out there on Tinder Blake?” You asked with a tease, nudging at her thigh again and she rolled her eyes, “but seriously, you’re lucky you’ve never used one. I’ll open an app, swipe for ten minutes and all I’ll have found was a bunch of couples looking for a unicorn, an apparently ‘open’ relationship where the girl says she just wants to play or explore her sexuality, a surprising amount of men despite having selected women only, full on married people looking to cheat, or poly couples. Which, I’ll support the last one, but I much prefer monogamy and half the time you’re wasting your time because people won’t have told you any of the above in advance, you find out on like, date three. Which doesn’t happen until like, months down the road considering how much free time the FBI loves to give us.”
“Well you could always look into giving it a second chance now that you’re in D.C, everyone here is career driven, a lot of them put it at the top of their priority lists, they’d understand.”
“I’d rather be a spinster with eight cats than open Tinder again to be completely honest.” You laughed, “but if you want me to help you set up an account I will.”
“Ohoho.” She laughed, “no, I think I’m good.”
“If you’re looking to get out there an app is probably your best bet. I mean, when was the last time you organically met someone you clicked with? Bonus points if it wasn’t at a bar.”
“I’ve got a pretty good track record when it comes to bookstores.” She grinned across at you and it was your turn to laugh, shaking your head at her.
“Doesn’t count, you know that’s not what I meant.”
“It was a correct answer to your question.” She retorted with a smile, “maybe dating is… completely overrated nowadays.”
“It really is.” You let out a sigh, your gaze drifting back to the television. Alex watched you for a moment, the gears in her head turning as you continued watching the show.
“Do you ever get lonely?” She asked softly and your eyes shifted back to her, your head tilting as you took in her words.
“Sometimes.” You shrugged, “but between work and maintaining stability in life there’s not much time leftover. Guess I don’t really think about it, besides,” grinning you shoved at her leg again with your foot, “I’ve got you to have middle of the night life chats if I can’t sleep.”
“I guess that’s true.” She replied with a soft smile, taking a sip of her wine before her gaze found its way back to the screen.
“Are… you lonely?”
“Hmm?”
“Is that the reason for all the questions?”
“Oh, no!” Alex pursed her lips, shaking her head, “having the house to myself was weird at first. Even though James was gone a lot, after the divorce I found that in the back of my mind I was still expecting him to show up sporadically. It felt like there was a little bit too much space for just me here, but, we’ve got that fixed now.” She laughed and you smiled back at her, “honestly when I got divorced I kind of figured that was it for me, I’d had a big love, now it was time to focus elsewhere.” She shrugged, “Emily brought up dating earlier, I guess it’s now just on my mind.”
“Well don’t black list it completely, you’re an incredible woman, brilliant, not to mention gorgeous. Anyone would be stupid lucky to have you.”
“Now you’re just sucking up.” She teased, feeling the warmth of the compliments soothing through her.
“More like pointing out the obvious.” You stifled a yawn, doing your best to hold it back but it was too late, Alex involuntarily let out an even larger one, followed by a small laugh.
“I guess it’s finally time for bed.”
“Probably a good idea.” You stood from the couch, collecting both yours and Alex’s empty glasses to place in the sink, “you don’t want to sleep through your alarm.”
“Definitely not.” Alex smiled, yawning once again as she said a quick thanks before she turned down her hallway, “goodnight y/n.”
“Night.” You shot her a smile before returning your attention to the dishes, quickly washing what was leftover as Alex’s bedroom door clicked shut.
Making sure you had your phone; you brushed your teeth and finally made the way back to your bedroom to climb into bed. The conversation with Alex was still very fresh on your brain as you slipped between the sheets, dropping back against the pillows. You had been truthful, you weren’t lonely, you’d made friends with the team, you had regular people you saw out on runs or at the gym and you had Alex for company at home. Chewing on your lip for a minute you finally reached out, grabbing your phone and swiping across until you found the toggle with the handful of dating apps you’d used in the past. You made it less than five minutes on Tinder before you were reminded exactly why it was absolute trash and not worth the fucking effort. You had friends to spend time with and a perfectly good vibrator for things they couldn’t assist with. Tinder was completely unnecessary.
Right?

you did a request a while ago for clingy Max and i was wondering if you would write a little headspin like that on Max being clingy and Daniel gets kinda firm with him and Max gets upset but Daniel makes it all better?
i don’t know if that makes sense lmao but i’m such a sucker for the like caregiver being firm but then going all mushy for their little and i just love clingy Max
ooooo, i tried. i hope this is what you wanted <3
Max is extra clingy today, in fact, Daniel is pretty sure Max would prefer to be in one of those baby swings, stuck onto Daniel like a baby koala.
It’s not like Daniel minds, he loves Max, he loves that Max loves him. Loves how Max shows it through holding his sleeve, pressing his nose into Daniel’s cheeks when they’re waking up or making their knees touch when they’re sat next to each other.
But they’re working today, Daniel has a shit load of responsibilities to get through, the media is on him, throwing out theories on his future and wanting his opinion, his thoughts, his soul.
His lunch break was supposed to start 20 minutes ago, and he knows Max is waiting. He’s texted him already that he’s running late, unable to keep his eyes of the digital numbers on his phone when he’s supposed to be putting his guy down for a nap. Jetlag has gotten both of them pretty good this time around, barely getting 4 hours of sleep in last night and Daniel had specifically requested his break to coincide with Max’s so he could schedule some rest for the younger. Lord knows he needed it.
His phone screen lights up again with a message from Max
I’m coming to you.
No, Daniel thinks immediately, doesn’t want these media vultures to jump on Max the second he walks in, not right now.
“Just- a second.” He apologizes absentmindedly swiping open Max’s message and responding.
Don’t, it’s too busy. I promise I’m wrapping this up. Give me 5.
When Daniel finally finishes his conversation a couple minutes later, partly because the person in front of him probably got annoyed with his short and distracted answers, he breathes a sigh of relief as he goes to gather his things. There’s a flash of orange in the corner of his eye and Daniel snaps his had up immediately when he realizes the orange is the #1 cap Max wears, in fact it is Max.
It’s impressive how quickly Daniel gets too Max, not quick enough for the first person there to go “Oh, Max do-” but quick enough to push Max back out into the hallway before their request is out.
“I told you to stay.” Daniel voice is firmer than he means it too be, his own exhaustion bleeding through frustration.
Max blinks up at him with a rapidly growing pout, hand coming up to try and pry Daniel’s hand off his bicep, Daniel lets go suddenly, not aware of his firm grip.
“You have to come.” Max whines up at him. “You took too long.”
Daniel sighs, rubs a hand over his face. “I am coming, I just need to grab my stuff.”
“I’ll come with.” Max responds, already moving to push past Daniel.
Daniel stops him with a gently hand to his chest. “No, Max. I’ll go grab it. You go to your room.” He doesn’t have the energy to explain why.
“But-”
“One.” It almost slips out of him, firmer than Max is used to when he’s not even in trouble really. “Go.”
Max stills immediately, sadness taking over his features. There’s a tiny little “Okay.” The he breathes out before turning on his heels, speed walking away from Daniel, leaving the elder with a gnarly feeling in his chest.
There’s a few choice words that Daniel murmurs under his breath as he steps back into the little room, gathering his things.
He does knock when he’s in front of Max’s driver room, a tiny flicker of worry things Max might have locked it, but when his hand twists the handle it opens.
Max has wrapped himself up in the baby blue blanket Daniel picked this morning. He looks so small, all bundled up in the corner of the couch and when Daniel enters there’s already tears swimming in his eyes.
“Daddy.” Max cries, reaching out to Daniel with blanket covered grabby hands. “I’m sorry. Daddy, I’m sorry.”
Daniel flicks the lock quickly before flinging himself onto the couch and wrapping his arms around the bundled bub.
“No, Darling. Shh. Daddy’s sorry. You don’t have to be sorry.” Daniel soothes, hand finding Max’s cheek to brush at the tears.
“Didn’t listen. I was bad.” Max cries back at him, burying his face in Daniel’s chest.
Daniel just holds him closer, rocks them a little in an attempt to get the tears to stop. “Oh Bubba, sometimes not listening has a very good reason. I’m sure you only didn’t listen cause you were missing Daddy very much, no?”
Max peaks up at Daniel, sucking in a breath before he nods. “Miss.”
“Right.” Daniel breathes, brushing the hair off of Max’s forehead. “And Daddy should’ve listened to you, should’ve thought about those missing feelings being too big for a little boy to listen. Daddy’s sorry.” Daniel’s always made sure Max knows that Daniel apologizes too, that he makes mistakes and owns them, that they’re equal. He’s even sat on the naughty step once.
Max blinks up at Daniel, thumb finding his mouth as the tears slow down. “Not bad?”
“You’re never bad. Maybe sometimes you make a bad decision, but you’re never bad. Remember? Sometimes Daddy makes a mistake, or a bad decision. That doesn’t make Daddy bad. But Daddy is sorry for making you wait, and expecting a little too much of you today. You’re a good boy, Maxie.”
Max is silent against his against his chest, the tears have stopped but Daniel can see in his eyes he’s not convinced.
“Do you need a little help remembering?”
Max nods slowly, thumb slipping out of his mouth.
“Alright.” Daniel smiles gently, sitting Max up a little straighter, the blanket that Max had wrapped around himself is lifted, and Daniel covers both of them with it like a little tent, grabbing both of Max’s hands in his.
“Just us.” Daniel hums, bumping his nose into Max’s.
“You’re a good boy.” Daniel says, open and honest as he squeezes Max’s hands.
Max breathes. “I’m a good boy.” It’s quiet, but Daniel hears.
“I am kind,”
“Kind.”
“I am smart.”
“Am smart.”
“I am loved.” Daniel squeezes a little harder.
“I am loved.” Max breathes back at him.
Daniel smiles. “The most by me.” He decides to add.
There’s a small smile that breaks out on Max’s face.
“You got it?” Daniel asks and Max nods.
“I’m a good boy.”
“Good boy.” Daniel reaffirms, pressing a kiss to Max’s forehead, about to let go off their intertwined hands when Max squeezes them tight.
Daniel looks at him with gentle confusion.
“Your turn.” Max breathes. “I’m a good Daddy.”
Daniel has to bite his lip at the noise that wants to leave his body, suddenly blinking a bit more rapidly.
“Say.” Max demands, eyes honest and sincere.
“I’m a good Daddy.”

Break Downs Come in Many Shapes and Sizes
Roommate!Chan X Fem!Reader
Author Note: This is my first attempt at fic writing pls be nice LMK if we want to see this finished :) Pls Reblog and Comment if you like it!!
Warnings/author rambling: Idiots/Enemies to Lovers, swearing worse than an angry trucker, Jisung is Y/N’s Twin, Chan is kind of a moron, Reader is very cranky all the time, Reader has big black cat gf energy. My grammar might suck and this is so dialogue heavy.
Word Count: Definitely more than 5
Rating: Let’s Say PG-13 for now probably not gonna write any pants off dance off material … for now
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
“Y/N I uh… I ummm IlikeyoualotandIwanttotakeyouout”
“I’m sorry what?”
“I like you a lot and I want to take you out”
Well Saturday morning brunch just took a turn, a baffled laugh leaves your mouth and before you can even think the word vomit leaves your lips as your tirade begins you stand in front of Chan with clad in your pajamas your (his )tee shirt that falls almost to your knees, sleep shorts, and fuzzy socks. Your lazy sleepy haze interrupted by the sobering fact that what you’re used to is completely different from what the reality before you. He can’t help to think that even upset and looking like you rose from an eternal slumber you look absolutely gorgeous.
“What do you mean you like me?! You-you hate me?! I hate you, hasn’t it always been this way?!?! This has to be some kind of fucking joke.” An exasperated sigh cuts your rant off, only briefly and you shake your head looking down for just a moment trying to make sense of what the hell is happening. “I don’t even know why you hate me Chan.” As you say this your eyes leave the floor, deciding that the fuzz of your socks was not distracting enough from the conversation at hand. You choose instead to look him in the eye and convey everything you had bottled up for the long months you’ve shared your home with Chan. “I genuinely don’t understand how I deserved any of your teasing, jokes, pranks, I guess your interrupting any date I thought would happen in the apartment somewhat makes sense now. Beyond that nothing you did made any sense to me besides the moments you showed a shred of kindness my way. But even those confused me, one day you pack me a lunch for work, the next you interrupted my date making the guy think I was trying to cheat on a boyfriend I don’t even have. Think about it if you were me— how would you feel right now? I was only ever kind to you when I moved in, I did all the chores, cooked extra meals for you since you would forget to take care of yourself, I would even wash your crusty gym socks for you when you forgot! But all you ever really did was try and antagonize me, not in a brotherly way like Jisung, more like an elementary school or middle school bully. You know now that I think about it… I-I didn’t always hate you, I misspoke on that when I said that I always did, but the feeling grew because you only ever hated me— or acted like you did. So forgive me for my lack of understanding here as to how the fuck you like me.” Your voice almost drops to a whisper as the thought goes through your mind- this could be another one of his pranks, maybe he’s taking it too far this time. The incredulous and hurt look on your face showed that you were telling the truth, well, your truth. The growing hurt starts to reflect in your eyes as you gnaw on your bottom lip trying to not show weakness in front of the Aussie.
As your hands flew about almost comically during your monologue, Chan stood there across the kitchen island in looking almost comfortable—clad in his usual Saturday uniform of a classic black tee, black gym shorts, and of course his beanie. The other signature part of his look, that annoyingly attractive smirk was gracing his features but if you looked a bit too long his way you would have seen that the typical arrogance of his smile didn’t quite reach his eyes. In fact his eyes betrayed the fact that he was mentally running a marathon realizing what he thought was playing off his feelings for you— one of his best friend’s’ sisters, someone who he had been attracted to for so long— was actually him ruining something he had dreamt of. You didn’t see it as playfulness—you saw it as him being a bully, a jerk, and he could see why. In his heart from the moment he saw your sweet and almost shy smile the day you had moved in for your third year or university he wanted to be more than roommates, but to be more than that he had to have shown you that he had been into you. Instead he had played into the old fashioned “if he teases you he likes you” mentality that had sort of died out decades ago. Acting more like a spoilt child than a man in his mid twenties.
Chan could do nothing but let out his own humorless laugh a sadness filled chuckle rumbling out of his chest and his curls flopping out of his hat as he shook his head, as much as he wanted to he couldn’t dare step closer to you, instead he let the kitchen island act as a barrier between you. He took advantage of the heavy silence that filled the room and decided now was time to say his piece. He didn’t want to show how your words impacted him just yet. So rather than being a bit more tactful he chose to start off acting like he always did around you — like a bit of an ass.
“Come on Y/Nnie when did I ever say that I hated you? Name one time I expressly said that…quickly.” The teasing tone of his voice cut through the thick uncomfortable air between the two of you . He couldn’t help but let out a small chuckle at the the stutters and incomprehensible sounds that left your mouth which told him all he that needed to know.
“You and I clearly both know that I never said that. Not once did I ever say ‘Y/N my darling roommate, sister of one of my closest friends, I hate you’ because sweetheart I do not hate you. I do actually care for you— even if I did find some joy in your cute grumpy reactions whenever I was being a jerk. You said it yourself that you hate me and quite honestly that breaks my heart.” You weren’t sure if you were right but he almost sounded choked up when he admitted that hearing you voice your feelings so harshly upset him. He continued on “I’m sorry for being so childish and hiding my feelings like a coward, I was an asshole to you and I see now what you meant by my mixed signals. I fucked up acting the way I did. Anyways I’ll uh—I’ll see you around.” He awkwardly finished his apology and you were frozen, unsure of what to say or do. When you looked at his face you could see that the typical confidence that radiated off of Chan was gone, what was left was a crestfallen, heartbroken young man. As he gathered his things to walk out your shared front door internally you wanted to pull him into your arms and console him. On the outside you could do nothing but stand there, your mind reeling realizing you may have just fucked everything up, you may have truly ruined your chances of getting to know the real person behind the arrogant facade the Australian man had built. Deep down you wished that you two had a different dynamic, but you had never known how to broach the subject. Maybe now was your chance. Fighting your panic response to freeze like a statue and attempting to start a new your wavering voice called to him.
“Chan—Chris! I uh— wait!! I-“
Before you could even say your full thoughts which you had barely conjured up, he was out the door, jacket and keys in hand and his head held low in what could only be described as devastation. As the door slammed you could do nothing but stare at it, your mind screamed at you telling you that you should run after him, pull him into your arms, explain that you were lying about hating him, that you wanted to be genuine with one another and get to know the real Chan. Instead you stood there frozen, tears burning at your eyes and slowly cascading down your cheeks. It was likely too late to run after him. Even through he was debating in the hallway if he should go back inside and try to fix things between you two. Thinking you were still upset he chose to go and drink away the pain, an unhealthy coping skill one of his friends would likely scold him for. As for you you chose to throw yourself an I may have just fucked up with the guy I secretly might be head over heels for and I feel like world’s biggest idiot party — or as Melanie Martinez would say… a pity party.
Thus your signature pity party routine began and you like an idiot did what always did when you chose avoidance instead of facing your troubles head on… You coped with distractions; step one: ice cream, step two: find a drama where you could be mad at the characters instead of yourself (or watch a true crime documentary and solve the case before the detectives), step three: cry into a pillow. Obviously your routine did not always go in that order given you were prone to crying at anything that might be even a smidge sad or frustrating. As you yanked open the freezer you were faced with a horrific sight, the last pint of salted caramel swirl ice cream was gone. The frozen dessert was a very important aspect of this routine you had been following since high school. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back—you had ENOUGH, your oh so essential pity party plans were now completely and utterly ruined and you had nothing punchable nearby to let out your emotions.
So like any logical adult in their twenties you choose to be mature, someone your therapist would have been proud of. Actually your therapist would be shocked to see you heave your body over to the couch and gracefully flop facedown and have a toddler style temper tantrum. Feet kicking, fists pounding the soft faux leather, and scratchy screams leaving your throat only to be muffled by the cushions below you. Before you could give an angry two year old a run for their piggy bank’s worth of savings a loud ring of your cellphone phone interrupts the anger fest.
“Jisung this better be good I’m in one of my wallowing in my sorrows sessions” you all but bark at your twin brother.
“Well I obviously hate to interrupt but Chan-hyung is drunk on my porch saying he ruined everything between you two and — oh well he’s now on my living room floor crying hugging that stuffed wolf you left here last week. So dear sister of mine would you care to explain what the fuck happened? It’s barely 1PM and the man is wasted and sobbing like he just watched Titanic for the first time.” The sass and annoyance your twin always seemed to have practically slapped you through the phone’s speaker. You let out a sigh and slumped further into the couch cushions and took a second to articulate your thoughts.
“He didn’t ruin anything, I did and big time. Like worse than when you puked in front of your crush at the graduation party in high school.” You sadly laugh and before Jisung could yell at you for bringing that memory up you tearfully begin to explain what just happened between you and your frustratingly handsome roommate.
As you spiral Jisung interrupts with a chuckle of pure exasperation at two of his favorite people truly not operating with the shared braincell of your trio.
“So you two morons both like each other and covered it up with teasing like you’re in second grade?”
“Well when you put it that way we both sound pretty dumb huh? Please let him sober up with you and Wolfie while I try and make it up to him.”
He agrees and the familiar hang up tone of the phone call echoes in your ear. Just how are you going to make this right?

hi!! can I request one where Larissa and r’s anniversary is coming up and reader is planning to propose so they’ve been sneaking around and one day Larissa catches them while they’re on the phone with a florists for a bouquet that’s a part of the surprise and they’re telling them what they want on the card. It’s something really romantic like “I love you so much. I’ve never met anyone like you.” and Larissa hears it thinking r’s cheating so she leaves and prepares to break up with r but then the next day she finally receives the bouquet from the delivery man while r is finishing up everything and reads the card, recognizing the words that r was saying the day before and she rushes to r and kisses them and stuff.
Simple Miscommunication
Larissa Weems x Reader
Authors Note: Here’s my little take on this request <3
“The card can just say something simple for the flowers. ‘I love you’. Yes, that’s fantastic.” You paced around in you office on a call with the local florist.
You had been dating Larissa Weems for 4 years now and with your upcoming anniversary, you felt like it was a great time to propose to her. You loved her endlessly and wanted to spend the rest of your life with her.
Everything was set up perfectly. You were going to get her a coffee in the morning, lunch and the flowers would arrive in the afternoon, and that evening you would propose over dinner. Little did you know that Larissa was listening in on your discussion with the florist. She had also forgotten your anniversary. With the current school year, it had completely slipped her mind and now she thought you had been getting flowers for someone else.
Larissa had been so stressed lately that she had completely jumped to conclusions. Usually she gave you a kiss before she left for work, but this morning you assumed she had been in a rush as she forewent the kiss and left without a word. You thought it was a little strange that she didn’t say anything about your anniversary either, but you were so anxious about your own proposal plans that you didn’t dwell on it.
When Larissa arrived in her office, there was a coffee already on her desk from the Weathervane. Next to it sat a note, I love you. Have a wonderful day.
Larissa rolled her eyes, assuming that the extra attention for her was due to a possible infidelity and you were just feeling guilty. She was ready to confront you when she came home from work, but when a bouquet of flowers arrived to her office, she began to feel a little silly.
There was a note in the center of the bouquet, Happy Anniversary. I love you.
Larissa bit her lip. She had completely forgotten. She checked her watch. There was still a few hours until she would typically come home from work. If she were to hurry, she could get into town and hopefully find you a present and some flowers.
———
When Larissa walked in the door of the house, she seemed to be in a bit of a rush. You cocked your head as she juggled a bouquet of flowers and a paper bag with a bottle of wine in it.
“Hi, sweetheart.” Larissa pressed a kiss you your cheek before pushing the flowers into your hands, “Happy Anniversary.”
“Hey, hon. Happy Anniversary.” You smile, knowing that she received the first parts of your presents for the day, but you knew the final part would be completely unexpected for her. You took the flowers into the kitchen and she began thanking you for the gifts as you cut the flowers and dropped them in a vase of water.
Not after long, you were both back into the common discussions about work and each other’s daily lives. You had dinner prepared for the two of you, serving Larissa at the kitchen table. She smiled up at you as she opened the bottle of wine she purchased.
As you ate, you couldn’t help but staring at her. The time to propose was fast approaching and you were beginning to get nervous. Larissa noticed your off behavior and narrowed her gaze at you, “Are you okay?”
“I-Uh… I need to- I need to ask you something.” You felt your heart pounding in your ears. Your chest and stomach tightened with the sensation of anxiety that coursed through you.
“Okay…” Your nervousness was rubbing off on Larissa and her mind went to worst case scenariosz
“You know I love you… And I was thinking- No, I was going to ask you- Only if you truly wanted-”
“Y/n…” Larissa was growing concerned with your struggling over your words. You typically weren’t this nervous around her.
You bit the inside of your lip, gathering yourself. You rose from your chair and moved to the floor on one knee in front of Larissa. Now she understood your nervousness perfectly.
You reached to your pocket, pulling out the little box, “I love you, Larissa. Will you marry me?”
“Yes. Yes, please. Absolutely.” She didn’t even have to think about her answer. As soon as you were down on one knee she knew her answer. And to think this morning, she was crazy enough to think you didn’t love her anymore.

WAWA WEEK PART 4: WAWA RISING
28/3 – Animals/Food: KITTIES
This one is just silly. Based loosely on this.
Mob and Serizawa chill together during a Reigen sanctioned break. Kittens ensue.
General audience. More implied seri/rei. I think I added it to everyone of these I'm sorry.
2700~ words
----------------------
The sun still hung high in the air with a few puffy, white clouds keeping the air cool enough to be pleasant. This part of town would be busy in a few hours but right after lunch it sat quite empty. They walked past only a few people heading back to work. Bird song could be heard from the row of trees leading up to a small, communal park.
Serizawa had been here before, but only in passing. He found himself distracted by all the nature he had never noticed: butterflies and caterpillars as a squirrel of some sort gnawed at a nut on one of the tree branches.
“Alright crew!”
Reigen stopped walking, causing the others to halt as well. Serizawa went stiff as a board.
“We mistimed that last client.” And there went the hands. Serizawa watched them as they emphasized every word. “And having completed the prior service faster than expected, as well as finishing lunch early, we now have accrued and extra hour before our next appointment.”
All three had been together for the day, Reigen, Mob, and Serizawa, traveling from one home to another after someone got a brilliant scheme to charge even more for house calls. Personal Psychic Visits call today!
“Do we go back for more lunch?” Mob looked up at his boss waiting for an answer.
“Or maybe, um-“ Serizawa turned away as he played with his hands infront of him. “Get some- uh- office supplies?”
“Haha. Your answers are exactly why I have prepared this task for you.” Reigen brought a hand to his face before drawing it down in a long arc. “You two are going to take a break!”
Mob and Serizawa blinked back.
Reigen let out a sigh. “Look just- just go to that park over there and sit down for a while. Ok?”
“Oh.” Serizawa gave a bow. “Thank you, Reigen-san!”
He followed behind Mob through the little gate into a shaded patch flanked by large trees. Their leaves danced in the light breeze creating little rays of sun that shone onto the surface of the small fountain at the center. A few benches circled the meager, but peaceful area. With no one else around they sat down together and took a moment to enjoy that special kind of silence that only nature could provide.
“I’ve never done this before.” Serizawa spoke after a bit. “Just taking a break in the middle of everything I mean.” A concerned grin. “Especially not for Spirits and Such!”
Mob looked out through the park into the street that ran by before turning back. “I think Shishou just wanted us out of the way so he could go pitch salt lamps to that café owner.”
A nod from Serizawa. “Ah, he did bring them up during the meal.”
“And the owner seemed interested.” Mob replied.
Serizawa tried to see if he could spot Reigen from this distance. Through one of the café windows there appeared to be someone doing part of a gymnastics routine. Yeah. That was probably him.
A few birds flitted by, landing on a low hanging branch before hoping up and along to another, singing as they went. Taking time off felt right: a little break to gather one’s self and be in the moment. Serizawa watched Mob start to lightly kick his legs back and forth under him, before he too looked down at his own feet and followed along. When he was in school this would have been branded as a pointless waste of time. In Claw he would have been told to stop goofing off and focus. A butterfly landed on one of the flowers that bloomed around the fountain, lowering its wings before bringing them together.
“Hey, do you hear that?”
Sitting up with a jerk, Serizawa broke from his pseudo meditation. “Hear what??”
“Shhh.” Mob was leaning down, trying to see under the bench. “Not so loud.”
“Hear what?” Serizawa repeated in a barely audible whisper.
All he could manage to detect was the bird song above. But then, one of the calls sounded too different and much lower. Both of them looked up at the opposite bench as the weeds underneath began to shift and rustle.
“Mree!”
A small, white kitten wandered out from the grass. It had little spots of black fur on his face and legs with one front paw being nearly all dark making it appear as if it was wearing one large sock. This was the leg it was lifting up as it cried out, steadily making its way towards Serizawa and Mob.
“Awww!” Serizawa brought his hands up to his face. “It’s so tiny! Is it hurt??”
Mob slid off the bench and crouched down, holding out his fingers. “I think so.” In a higher pitched voice he cooed to the little kitten. “Come here! It’s ok, we’re nice.”
The kitten paused for a moment before trotting over with increased speed, going straight for a headbutt and rub against Mob’s leg. More high pitched mews rang out.
“I wonder if its mom is near.” Mob gently pet the tiny thing as it pawed at his hand. The hurt leg seemed fine now.
“We can check the bushes.” Serizawa joined him, sitting in the cool grass. “His little spots are so, cute like a tiny cow.”
The kitten tripped, rolling over before making sure to give Serizawa’s leg a good rub too. Another round of meows. But this time there were far more, all cascading over one another in a growing choir.
“Oh my-“
Serizawa gripped his chest. Two more kittens came out of the far bush. No, three. Five?
“There’s so many!” Mob found them tumbling over each other to get onto his lap as well as Serizawa’s.
Now eight in total kittens, some black and white like the first, others ginger or tabby, were circling, climbing, and mewing up a storm with their new found human friends. Serizawa hand’s began to shake as he struggled to give each one the attention they deserved.
“Look! This one has little white socks!” Mob held up a dark tabby with lighter paws.
Serizawa was grinning wide, a few tears in his eyes at the momentous and sudden explosion of preciousness. “And this little guy has a black nose! All white and just that spot on his face!”
“Ha ha. I’ve never seen so many before at once.” Mob too was laughing in full, laying back to allow the kitties to use him as a make shift cat tree.
“I used to see ginger kittens all the time when I walked back from school.” Serizawa was now holding one in each hand as they loudly purred, his fingers feeling the happy vibrations. “My mom and I had a joke that every cat in the area was ginger and came from some big orange cat Kami.”
“I hope they weren’t abandoned.” Mob’s voice trailed off while he gave quality chin scritches to the two now lying on his chest.
Serizawa frowned for a bit at the thought. Didn’t matter now because they were here. He watched one crouch, wiggling its butt before leaping to pounce on his shoe. Three others had decided his lap was now their bed. For a moment it was all mews and smiles until one of the ginger decided to climb up Serizawa’s back. The little claws pricked through his suit and he froze while the kitten managed to get all the way up to his shoulder. There it stood triumphant, rubbing against his cheek with its whole body with a rumbling purr.
“Uh- um.” Serizawa’s hands were shaking even worse now. “Shigeo?”
The levels of adorable had been too much and now some of the kittens were hovering a few inches off the ground along with some small stones and bits of grass.
“I’m s-sorry! I’m trying to keep control.” He was tense now, eyes closing.
Mob sat up. “It’s alright! They seem to like it. Look!”
Taking a deep breath, Serizawa opened one eye, then the other. A black and white kitten floated in front of his face pawing at its own tail, purring as it slowly rotated in the air. The ones in his lap were still snuggled together but had their heads up as they gained their bit of altitude. Two more in the air seemed to be trying to play fight but hovered a few inches too far away resulting in excited rolling and pawing.
“Th-they do!” Serizawa raised a hand and gently cupped one of the battling kittens. It plopped into his palm, belly up and paws curled. “They are so cute, how could someone just dump them in a park?”
“I don’t know.” Mob aided the other floating cats to the ground. The mews he got in return made him smile from ear to ear. “We can help them though.”
It was Serizawa’s turn to lie back, letting out a sigh as he marinated in fur and purrs. “How though?”
“They are probably hungry.”
“Oh! Wait.” Turning to his side, Serizawa pulled his brief case closer and started to rummage through the contents. “I have some jerky in here somewhere. Aha!”
He sat back up with a bag of shredded and dried beef. From just the smell, every kitten congregated around him, reaching up to swipe at the food. Serizawa laughed, his free hand trying to garner enough space in the grass for him to place the jerky. Eventually he gave up against the jumping, crowding kittens and simply dumped the entire bag amongst them.
The meowing stopped, replaced now with chewing amid ever continuing purrs with a few growls in between as they all defended their treats. One stepped back, shaking its self. Another had dropped its piece and was pawing at it.
“Oh.” Mob picked up one of the discarded bits. “I think this stuff is too hard for them.”
“Oh no. I don’t really have anything things else.” Serizawa went through his pack again. “What do they need? Milk?”
Picking one up, Mob stared at the little thing in his hands. Ginger with white front paws, it mewed before gnawing at his thumb.
“They are small but probably off milk, or at least close.” The others had given up eating and resumed their needy meows. “We need something soft, like canned tuna.”
Serizawa frowned down. Just then Reigen came across the corner with a bag of fries in one hand, his cell phone in another, and several of the fried potatoes sticking out from his lips while he chewed on a generous mouthful.
“What the-” His shock came out muffled by the food. Swallowing, he held both the fries and cell phone out at arm’s length. “I left you alone for 30 minutes!”
“S-sorry, Reigen-san.” Serizawa turned his head to avoid the angry stare of his boss. “We got a bit side tracked.”
“Shishou!” Mob looked up. “Can you buy some cat food? The soft kind in the cans!”
“I- wait-what?” Reigen wandered over still trying to piece together what exactly he was looking at.
The cat that had climbed onto Serizawa’s shoulder had now made it to the top of his head, making the man laugh. “Yes please! And maybe a box so we can carry them!”
The boss of Spirits and Such stood there over his two employees sitting in the grass covered in mewing kittens. One of the rascals ran over and butted up against his pants leg, looking up and letting out a tiny, happy trill.
“I’m not getting cat food!” He took a few steps back. The kitten pursued. “And we can’t keep them! What are we going to do, take them to the office?”
Mob gazed up with wide eyes and a kitten against his cheek as he held up one of the dark tabbies. “Shishou please? It’s just for the day until we can take them to the shelter.”
“They are all alone with no mother.” Serizawa joined in, giving his best sad face. “We have to do something.”
“But I- you see- we can’t just- and the office and- UGH!” Reigen ended his broken ramble and crossed his arms in front of him. “We have a client to meet up with in like 20 minutes!” Pointing at one kitten, he drew an arm down before bringing it up into an open palm, fingers tensing. “I told you to take a break not adopt half the strays in the area.”
The normally gruff and serious Serizawa spoke in a soft, begging pitch as he met his boss’s eyes. “Please, Reigen-san.”
A bit of red flushed over Reigen’s cheeks and he hid his face in a hand. Can’t say no to that.
“FINE!” He huffed for a moment before crossing his arms again and glaring daggers at what ever happened to be at is right side. It was a tree. “I’ll- call the client and say something came up.” Another grumble. “Then we can take them back to the office.” He looked back at his employees. “Will that make you happy?”
Serizawa and Mob both beamed while covered in kittens. “Yes! Thank you!”
A few moments later, Reigen returned with a cardboard box he had scavenged in the nearby alley, his mind racing. Serizawa took it and gave a bow, smiling at his boss.
“You’re a good man, Reigen-san.”
Reigen turned away, Serizawa failing to notice the blush and distant look in his eyes. After a careful kneel, he began to pick up the kittens one by one with Mob and place them into the box. The task proved difficult as the little guys kept jumping out again, but eventually they got every last one of them secured.
Mob held the box leaving Serizawa to get the rest of their things. Over his shoulder he could hear Reigen muttering on the phone amongst the kitten mews.
“Yes I’m sorry. There’s been a bit of an emergency with- with the client before you. Can we reschedule? Y-yes. I can give a discount. Alright. See you tomorrow.”
Serizawa watched his boss snap his phone closed and drop his shoulders, ending with a long sigh. For a moment their eyes met and Serizawa gave a sheepish grin back. Reigen straightened his back and managed a smile of his own. Just then a kitten ran between his legs and Reigen panicked, chasing after the little thing before tripping into a bench.
“Reigen-san!” Serizawa rushed over. “Are you alright?”
A mumble before Reigen picked himself up off the back of the bench, wiping dirt off his suit jacket. “Yeah. But I think I lost the kitten.”
“No worries, Shishou.”
Mob stood with the box and the now hovering escapee floated over to them. Reigen held out his hands and took the kitten. It mewed, going for the pink tie but flopping over and deciding to remain half curled up on its back.
“Maybe one of them can be the office mascot.” Serizawa suggested as Reigen pet at the tiny ginger kitty.
“That’s what Dimple is for.”
A chuckle from both of them. And yet Reigen’s gaze was fixed on the cat as it purred and made biscuits against his fingers. For a moment he remained lost in thought, relaxed and joyful, but soon snapped back to his expected levels of strained charisma.
“Alright! Let’s head back to the office and see if we can contact the local shelter.”
Serizawa let out a sigh. Maybe one day his boss would learn what taking a break is all about. Until then, perhaps a box of eight adorable, mewing kittens would help.

Eclair had been married to his job since long before the two of you had met, always being the first person in and the last person to leave. Eagerly accepting overtime and extra shifts at the museum whenever the opportunities arose in order to further engross himself in his studies of the dragons and warriors of bygone eras — and teach others in Parfaedia about it as well, sharing his passions with such glee that it was contagious.
Though his palpable excitement and eagerness to seek out first hand accounts of these ancient times often led to him spending months meticulously restoring old manuscripts and piecing together old tomes and artwork from those periods alongside the help of conservators. Work that required his complete focus and dedication. Work that required long days and longer nights spent communicating with his colleagues and researching and communicating new findings and rinse and repeat for what felt like an eternity.
So that left you to make sure he took care of himself and actually took advantage of the scheduled breaks provided to him by the museum. That he didn’t work himself to the bone through his lunch break and rested his eyes for longer than it took him to blink.
Which brought you to now: leaning against the frame of his open doorway, arms crossed disapprovingly across your chest as you looked between your watch and your still very much so working boyfriend. 12pm sharp — the start of his hour lunch break and a time where you should have been able to stroll into his office and spend some much needed time with him.
Should being the operative word there.
An operative that didn’t at all reflect the reality of your situation like it never did these days — and you were sick and tired of it. So, without further ado, you strode purposefully towards his desk and swivelled his chair around to face you, reaching around him to carefully mark and close the book he was looking at.
You’d be damned if you let him miss another break.
————
"Dear, what are you doing here? I have some very important documents to review and -"
"The documents you've been reviewing since yesterday?" You sighed and leaned down to peck him on the lips. "You've been working nonstop for the past month — do you even know what time it is right now?"
"Of course I do!" He huffed, rolling his eyes. "It's, um..."
"It's 12:03, hun." You finished flatly, raising an eyebrow at his demeanour. "You need to take a break, like immediately. No ifs, ands or buts."
"And you're going to enforce that how, exactly?" He asked with a sarcastic roll of his eyes. "Besides," he reached behind himself, hand groping blindly for the documents he was scanning, "the work I'm doing is of the upmost importance to our research into the Great Flour War — this could be groundbreaking, you know. And I think it's about time you start acting a little bit more grateful for the work I do to support this establishment and us."
"That work is meaningless if I never get to see you, babe!" You insisted, throwing your arms up in the air in an exasperated gesture. "You're constantly working and I get that this means a lot, but you need to take a break for your own sanity,"
At that he paused and just stared at you for a moment, one hand slowly reaching up to adjust his monocle as he trailed his eyes up and down your body. Taking in your frustrated expression, your tense posture and everything else about you until he smiled in that knowing way he often did and reached up to grab your wrist.
"I understand what you're saying now, dear," he began, tone light and lilting with something you couldn't quite place, before he suddenly pulled you down in such a way that you landed forwards across his lap, "but that doesn't mean you can get away with disturbing my research. This is incredibly important, you know — and I know that you do — and I can't afford to leave so many relics and manuscripts going undocumented and untranslated. It would be unprofessional, to say the very least."
You opened your mouth to question him, but the words died on your tongue when he moved and pulled your trousers and underwear down to your knees — exposing your ass and thighs to the cold air of his office. His office with the door to the adjoining hallway still wide open and exposing exactly what you were doing to any of your colleagues who happened to poke their heads in or walk past at the wrong moment. His office with windows that spanned from the floor to the ceiling with a perfect view of the gardens below and that were cracked open just enough that you could hear the visitors outside enjoying their meals and playing the games your employer had recently invested in.
His office where you were entirely exposed and completely at your boyfriend’s mercy — and by the way his warm hand was caressing the swell of your ass, you gathered that he wasn’t feeling particularly merciful. So you braced yourself and grasped at the edge of the desk to steady yourself, taking a deep breath to prepare yourself for the imminent strikes against your backside — startled by his voice as he called out a single instruction.
“Count for me — be as clear as you can.”
And then your ‘punishment’ began.
————
The first strike was to the meat of your left thigh, the impact startling you and causing your body to tense before you were able to gasp out a single phrase 'one'. And, pleased with your compliance, your boyfriend took a moment to soothe the area with a few slow rubs of his palm and a chaste kiss before he continued on.
The next was to your right thigh and, like before, you tensed and gasped but still managed to count for him. Consistently willing to do as you were told, and that earned you more soothing — his soft lips, his oddly gentle touch, his words of praise.
Praise and teasing that continued and punctuated each strike and number as he moved to your ass — right, then left — and then went back down to your thighs. Left, right, right, left. Each collision equally sharp and hard and leaving your skin stinging in their wake — yet, somehow, causing your cock to harden and twitch as he went on.
Three.
"You're being so receptive, I'm impressed,"
Four.
"If only you could see yourself like this, darling, it really is a treat,"
Five.
“If I didn’t know any better, I’d think you wanted to be caught,”
Six.
“Don’t quieten down on my account, you make the most wonderful sounds,”
And so on until your ass and thighs were on fire and the tip of your cock was leaking and you’d counted well into the double digits — reaching thirty before he finally relented. Your eyes welling up with unshed tears from the overwhelming mixture of pain and pleasure as he soothed your stinging skin with gentle rubbing and quiet shushing.
“You did so well, darling,” he began, leaning down to press a chaste kiss to the swell of your ass, “I’m impressed.”
The praise and the implications behind it had you smiling shyly to yourself, lips parting to respond before you were cut off by him helping you to your feet and guiding you to sit on the top of his desk. Only able to gasp from the shock of the cold before he rushed forwards and pressed his lips against yours, one hand wandering down to tug his hard length out of his robes as he spoke up once again. His words making your mouth run dry and your dick jump with the promise of proper pleasure that hung from his tone.
“Now let’s see if you can keep quiet for just a bit longer; we don’t want my colleagues to see you like this, do we?”
