After Shikaku confesses her love for Yucel, He rushes to the hospital to offer her his blood, Making her into an immortal vampire just like him. Yucel has also fallen for Shikaku, its basically his confession of love, He wants to live with her Forever.

Its drawn in a way you can tell its such an act of compassion too.

Mermaid Rhapsody

Toshihides Dad feels the exact same way about his Mom as Toshihide feels about Shijyu. Mermaids eat humans, But that never mattered to either of them.

Fire Punch

This one is Pretty straight forward, Agni with his regenerative powers feeds his village by continuously chopping of his Arm so they dont all starve to death. But more importantly he does this to prevent his sister from doing it aswell. He doesnt want her to suffer that pain so he takes sole responsibility for providing himself to the village.

Agni also later feeds his followers with the help of Togata Chopping of the part of his face that isnt on Fire. I think this has more todo with making sure Togata gets fed rather than his followers, To Agni Togata means alot.

When Power is about to Die, Power not only offers her own blood For Denji to Drink so he can get back to health, But Pochita also offers a small part of himself so she can come back as a Powerful Devil.

And ofcourse the big one is Denji Eating Makima. He obviously has to and all for the sake of erasing her. But he explicitly says it wasnt an Attack, It was an act of Love.

Its such a fascinating thing that the idea of consuming someone can be concidered something you do to a cherished one, as an affectionate thing. I guess as Denji mentions that you basically become one with eachother in a way if you consume them.

But this is such a Weird thing Right? Where does this idea even originate from? Well ofcourse we can only Speculate but I really think he took on inspiration from his own life here, Because he has actually done this to someone he loved. Yes, Seriously.

Tatsuki Fujimoto eating his deceased Pet Fish

In the Authors notes for "Tatsuki Fujimoto Before Chainsaw Man: 22-26" Fujimoto shares a story from when he was 24:

"Even though we were poor, we had a pet Japanese rice fish. I found it dead one summer. I went to toss its body into the trash like in Parasyte, but my girlfriend said she wanted me to bury it, So off I went to the park, alone. I tried to bury it under this big tree, but the ground was too hard, my hands got all dirty and I had no hole to show for my effort. Out of Options, I figured I would pretend I had buried the fish and left it lying there on top of the ground. As I watched it for a little while, ants found the body and began to carry it away. Im not sure what came over me, but in that moment, love for that pet fish welled within me for the first time. I brushed the ants away, and then Ate it."

It has that "Wait what the hell am I reading" Charm to the story like alot of his works, But theres something so weirdly beautiful about this story, Somehow stricken with grief and love for this fish, He ate it. As Denji says, its not an attack, his fish is part of him now and its an act of love. So strange, yet so Beautiful.

“Shit,” Jin whispered to himself as he sat up in his bed, having just woken up from an accidental nap. After having busy schedules with the group for the past few weeks, Jin had been happy to invite you over to his place in order to spend some time together. However, all of that ended when Jin had fallen asleep on you. 

After getting up from the bed and taking a second to fix his hair that had gotten messed up, Jin walked out of the bedroom and down the stairs when he heard the sound of something sizzling in a pan. Making his way into the kitchen, he saw you standing in front of the stove, wearing his apron as you moved around effortlessly.

“Jagi?” Jin called and you glanced over your shoulder, throwing him a wide grin.

“Hey sleepy head,” you giggled. “Are you hungry?”

“Starving, actually,” he replied as he stepped over to you, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling your body against his. 

“Good. I’m making bulgogi and ramen and I have some kimchi left over for you,” you told him. 

“Mm, that sounds great,” Jin smiled, watching quietly as you moved about the stove. As he did, he couldn’t help but to be thankful for how often you took care of him without him even having to ask. You were so selfless not only with him but with others as well, and that’s why he loved you. 

“What?” Jin gasped at the realization and you glanced at him again.

“What’s wrong?” You wondered. “You ok?”

“Y-yeah.”

“You sure?”

“Yeah, don’t worry about me,” Jin assured you. “I’m fine.” And he really was because he loved you, and the thought had him tightening his arms around you. 

Min Yoongi

Rushing out of the bathroom, you jogged into your bedroom and grabbed your phone that had been ringing loudly on the nightstand, picking it up and answering it. 

“Hello?”

“Hey, it’s me,” Yoongi said. 

“Hey,” you sighed and Yoongi took instant notice of your tone of voice. 

“What’s wrong?”

“The sink in my bathroom is leaking again and there’s water all over my fucking floor,” you huffed. “And I called my landlord but of course, the jackass claims he’s too busy to get over here to fix it.”

“I’ll come fix it,” Yoongi replied simply and you froze. 

“Really?”

“Really. Give me 20 minutes,” he said before abruptly hanging up. Sure enough, Yoongi showed up at your front door 20 minutes later with a toolbox in hand and after pressing a quick kiss to your lips, he strolled into your bathroom and got to work. 

You stood in the doorway watching him, a soft smile on your face as you watched him curse under his breath as he focused intently on the task. You couldn’t help but to think of all the men you had dated before Yoongi, who never once offered to come and help you when you needed it, let alone come without you even asking. Everything with Yoongi was so damn effortless and you loved your relationship with him. You also loved him and the realization didn’t shock you or surprise you; in fact, it was simply the first time that you were acknowledging it. 

“Alright, all done,” Yoongi said as he stood up straight and you didn’t hesitate to walk over to him, cupping his face in your hands before you kissed him passionately for a few seconds before pulling away again. “What was that for?”

“Just a thank you, for taking care of me,” you murmured, nudging your nose against his. “I really appreciate it.”

“I like taking care of you so it’s nothing,” Yoongi smiled before kissing you again.

Kim Namjoon

“Shit,” Namjoon huffed, making you look up from the files that you had been working on. The two of you were in his studio together, him working on the desktop while you lounged on the comfortable couch as you did some work yourself. 

“Everything ok?” You checked, even though you were sure it wasn’t anything that couldn't be fixed. 

“Just trying some different things for this chorus and none of it is working so far,” he sighed as he turned to look at you. “I won’t be too much longer though.”

“No, it’s ok,” you assured him. “I’m still working too, so take your time.”

“Alright but let me know if you wanna head out early,” he told you, waiting until you had nodded your head before he looked back at the computer. You continued to watch him though, in slight awe of him. This wasn’t the first time that you had watched Namjoon work but you always found yourself in amazement of how serious he took his music, and how important it was to him to get it as close to perfect as he could. 

The two of you had been dating for a few months by this point and you had expected yourself to be out of the ‘honeymoon’ phase by now but you still got the same butterflies that you had gotten the very first time that you saw him in person. Now you were a smart woman and you knew exactly why that was: you had fallen in love with Kim Namjoon, full stop. You didn’t have an issue with that though; the thing was just figuring out if he felt the same way or not. 

“Why are you looking at me like that?” Namjoon wondered and you broke out of your thoughts then, your cheeks warming up from having been caught. 

“Nothing,” you mumbled before turning your attention back down to your work and Namjoon just smiled fondly at you. 

Jung Hoseok

“So have you spoken to Mom?” You asked your younger brother as the two of you had lunch at your apartment. “She said she was looking for you.”

“Yeah, looking for me to kill me,” your brother scoffed. “The woman tried to take my head off!”

“Because you had some bimbo in her house,” you shot back. “Be for real.”

“I’m 20 years old now, Y/N-ah,” he replied. “I’m not a baby anymore.”

“But you still live in her house,” you pointed out. “It’s a respect thing.”

“Meh,” your brother huffed and you just smiled. Just then, Hobi walked out of the bedroom and you smiled at seeing him. 

“Hey,” Hobi greeted your brother, the two of them doing a quick handshake. 

“What’s up man?” He smiled, watching as Hobi moved over to you and pressed a soft kiss to your lips. 

“I have rehearsal and recording today so don’t wait up,” he murmured and you nodded your head. “Oh, is that fried chicken?”

“Yep,” you confirmed and Hobi immediately reached onto your plate, grabbing a piece of chicken and stuffing it into his mouth. 

“I’ll call you! Bye!” Hobi shouted as he hurriedly made his way to the front door and you just watched with a smile until the front door shut behind him. Once you turned back to your brother, he was smirking at you. 

“What?”

“You never let anyone eat off your plate and trust me, I know because you’ve tried to kill me for doing it,” your brother mused. “Is someone in love?”

“I am not,” you rolled your eyes and thankfully, he let the subject drop. As you thought about it though, you realized that maybe you did love Hobi and that was slightly terrifying. 

Park Jimin

“Well, isn’t this a pretty sight?” Jimin spoke up and you glanced over your shoulder to see your boyfriend staring at you with a sly grin. “You’re cooking for me?”

“I know that you had a long day of rehearsal so I wanted to be nice,” you explained as Jimin paced into the kitchen and stood next to you. 

“I appreciate it,” he murmured, leaning over and pressing a soft kiss to your cheek. “You need help?”

“You could chop up those onions,” you said and Jimin nodded before grabbing a spare knife and setting to work. That’s how the two of you stayed for the next few minutes, side by side as you silently worked on getting the ingredients ready to cook. The radio that you had in your kitchen was on and when one song ended, the next song to play was the full version of Serendipity. 

“This song never gets old,” Jimin smiled as he turned to look at you. “Dance with me, Y/N-ah.”

“We have to get dinner on before it gets too late,” you tried to say, smiling when Jimin took the knife out of your hands and set it onto the counter. 

“Indulge me,” he said, grabbing your hands in his and you let him pull you into the middle of the kitchen floor where he wrapped his arms around you and pulled you close to him. 

“You’re a menace,” you giggled. 

“You love it,” Jimin shot back with a smirk and you had to bite your tongue because you did. You loved everything about Jimin; the way he made you laugh so hard that your stomach would hurt, the way he’d smile at you and light up the entire room, and the way that he treated you as if you were the most precious diamond in the world. 

You loved him. 

“I do,” you whispered, wrapping your arms around him and laying your cheek on his shoulder. Jimin smiled to himself, placing a soft kiss on your head as the two of you swayed around the kitchen together. 

Kim Taehyung

You hummed your current favorite song to yourself as you moved around the living room in Taehyung’s living room, straightening up the multiple magazines that he had laid out before fixing the pillows on his couch. 

“Oh, here’s that earring he was looking for the other night,” you chuckled to yourself as you picked it up.

“Hey,” Taehyung called out and when you looked over, you saw him walking down the hallway. “What are you doing?”

“Just straightening up,” you shrugged. “You’ve been saying that you were gonna do it for like a week now but I know you’ve been busy so I decided to just help you out.” 

“Oh,” Taehyung muttered. “Thank you. Do you want any help?”

“Nah, I did most of it while you were on that call with your producer,” you replied. “I just have the records to do and then I’ll be done.”

“Alright. I’ll start on lunch in the meantime then,” Taehyung said and you just nodded in response. Once Taehyung went into the kitchen and washed his hands, he couldn’t help but to watch with a smile as you organized his collection of music records that were placed by the television. Taehyung was used to people fussing at him about his occasional forgetfulness and sometimes even trying to change that about him, but you didn’t.

You allowed Taehyung to be himself, even when that meant putting up with the less favorable parts of his personality. As a member of one of the biggest groups in the world, finding someone who accepted him as is was rare but Taehyung had gotten lucky. 

He had found you and fallen in love with you in the process. 

“I love her,” Taehyung whispered to himself. 

“What did you say, Tae?” You shouted. 

“Nothing baby, nothing,” he smiled. 

Jeon Jungkook

“Knock knock,” you called as you slowly opened the door to Jungkook’s bedroom, your heart sinking when you saw him slumped over in bed, coughing loudly. 

“Y/N-ah?” He muttered. “How’d you get in?”

“Your hyungs let me in on their way to the shoot,” you said, setting the bags that you had brought with you on his bedside table before you sat down on the edge of the bed. “I heard you were sick so I came to make sure you were alright.”

“I’m fine but I don’t want you getting sick.”

“Please, my immune system is like armor,” you chuckled. “I’ll be fine. If it makes you feel better though, I brought you goodies.” As you opened the bags that you had brought with you, Jungkook couldn’t help but to smile as you pulled out containers of soup, medicine, some of his favorite snacks, and even your laptop so that the two of you could watch Netflix. 

You spent the next 45 minutes giving him the medicine before handfeeding him some soup and Jungkook couldn’t help but notice how patient you were with him, even when he couldn’t move that fast and you had to help him out. Not one time did you look annoyed or disgusted nor did you outright pity him and treat him like an invalid. It was almost like you knew the perfect way to be supportive while also still treating him like a grown man. 

Jungkook knew that he was falling for you but having you take care of him had him thinking about the ‘L’ word.

“Wanna pick a movie now?” You asked as you set the empty container onto the bedside table before turning back to look at him. 

“Um, I’m kind of tired actually,” Jungkook replied. “Do you mind if I nap?”

“Of course not,” you smiled softly. “Wanna cuddle?”

“We shouldn’t be too close,” he tried to say and since you were sick of him saying that, you leaned over and placed a firm kiss on his lips to shut him up. “Y/N-ah,” he laughed. 

“Now it’s up to fate if I get sick or not,” you smiled. “Now, come cuddle.” Not wanting to fight you off anymore (because he really did want to be as close to you as possible), Jungkook moved over and laid his head on your chest while you set your hands in his hair, scratching lightly at his scalp. The sound of your heartbeat instantly put him at ease and he found his eyes fluttering shut. One of his last thoughts before he drifted off was about how he definitely loved you. 

Without a doubt or any hesitation.

"What in the world Han Jisung." yn laughed slapping his arms as she sat beside him on the sofa.

Saturdays were meant for the boys. That's what Han firmly believes in. But when his crush/ girl best friend/ situation ship calls him on the phone for 'emergency' purposes (which somehow involves watching a movie) the boys are no longer the priority.

"You still haven't told me why you called."

"You're trying to change the topic-"

"I'll leave your ass alone if you try to bully me."

yn couldn't help but grin snuggling closer to him, hands wrapped around his biceps and head on his shoulder. "I just wanted to see your stupid face."

"Excuse me- Stupid? I'm gorgeous." Han scoffed pretending to push her off. "Changbin was right bros before hoes. I Shouldn't have come to your aid."

"You know I know that you love hanging out with me." Yn said picking up the tv remote. "You love hanging out with me. And so do i. So here Rewatching Shrek for the- I don't even know how many times."

Han didn't argue as he stared at her. Yn had been one of his oldest friends. They met back in middle school and stuck together since. They've watched each other grow through their lowest and highest points.

And after everything, Han couldn't deny that he wanted them to be more than just friends. Friends don't hold each other most nights while sleeping. Friends don't look at each other the way he looked at yn.

But the problem was. He couldn't confess. He tried so many times over the years to subtly let yn know. But she never took the hint. It was like she wanted him to spell it out for her.

"You're thinking." Yn interrupted his train of thoughts.

"I am."

"It's kinda unusual since Chan does most of the thinking for us all."

Han said nothing continuing to stare at her. His lips curved up at the corner slightly. "I know." He said.

yn paused the movie turning back to him "Seriously Sungie, are you okay?" She asked. "You look lost."

Jisung sighed shaking his head turning around. This was another one of those moments when he wanted to confess. He was here at yn's house. She was in his arms. If he got rejected, then this would be over. He would lose yn. That was the only thing that stopped him from ever saying anything.

His feelings were not worth it. It was not worth it. He'd rather never confess than lose yn.

His bandmates seem to disagree. Specially Hyunjin. "Dude. I'm telling you. I get the vibe that yn likes you too. Go for it."

But Hyunjin was a hopeless romantic. And listening to his advice would be a bad decision for him.

"Jisung." Yn called out again.

"Nothing... I'm just tired from practice."

"You looked fine 20 min-"

"last night I was bothered thinking about the gold fish I lost when I was five. How will you say that it's not nothing?."

Han nodded, kissing the top of her head. "It involves me? Wait... Are you actually sad cause I called you today..." Yn pulled back. "I know you were hanging out with the boys but I was just-"

"And they say I'm the overthinker." Han laughed. "I don't hate you yn. It's nothing... I just came up with some lyrics."

"Stop lying."

"What makes you think so?"

"You get crazy when you come up with a song. You're scrambling around for a piece of paper and pen. You have a look in your face." Yn said with a small shrug and Jisung couldn't help but smile.

"Do I?" He asked with a small laugh. He never expected her to notice so many details. "Are you like obsessed with me or something?" He joked pulling her towards him.

"You're making it weird Han."

"How am I making it weird?" He laughed. "I always hug my friends and kiss my homies goodnight."

"I hate you." Yn laughed along. "But in all seriousness. Are you okay?"

"I... Maybe. There's just a lot of things on my mind." Han said with a small shrug. "I don't know..."

"You're confused?"

"Kinda like that. I don't know how to deal with something. Like there's something I want to do. But I'm sacred."

"Being scared is for the losers." Yn laughed. I'm not the best person for advice but. If you want to do something. You should go ahead and do it. You'll have my support no matter what."

"What if it's something very stupid?"

"I like you too what's the big deal?"

"No. What if I like like you?" He asked again this time turning around to face her fully.

August 12 - Kyoto Guided Tour and Fushimi Inari Shrine

Today I booked a guided tour for 10:30am. This means I had an early day because it takes an hour to get to Kyoto from Osaka, not including the time to buy a ticket or for me to get ready and eat breakfast (I am so glad I pre-bought hotel breakfast). By the end of my journey, I figured out how to use the self serve electronic ticket machine. In my tour, there was a family from New York and their son actually had the same name as my dad and brother, and is the first person I've ever met with his same name. There was also a mother-son duo from Zürich, Switzerland. And our tour guide was Kareem who is from Quebec and has been living in Japan for 5 years. His wife is Japanese and they have a one year old daughter that they're bringing to Canada in November for the first time. It was nice to make friends with everyone and honestly to just have human interaction in a language I know. We started in the bamboo forest and went to the nearby Shinto shrine. Then we went to the former home and garden of a famous Japanese movie star, Denjirō Ōkōchi, called Ōkōchi Sansō. This was his second home and he died one year after building it. It has themes of zen Buddhism, a popular sect of Buddhism here. Here, we stopped for a little break; there was a rest area with tea and some cold drinks. I hadn't tried Calpis yet (they had it in Taiwan) because the name threw my off but they had some here and it was actually delicious. We left the bamboo forest and walked to a zen Buddhist garden called Sogenchi Teien. It was a beautiful Japanese zen garden and is a classic example of a zen garden. These places intentionally make the steps a little rockier to make you walk slower and appreciate the nature around you, which I thought was a cool design technique. Before we broke for lunch, we tried some foods: we had this rice patty thing (which was basically what the outside of mochi is) and I bought some and will need to eat it right when I fly back to Florida because it expires on 8/20. We also tried this sesame chili spice topping (with rice) and I bought some of that too. We broke for lunch and our guide helped me find some vegetarian food and he joined me because by the time I ordered food we only had like 30 mins left for lunch and I told him about Taiwan. It's on his bucket list. We also took a brief stop by this Kimono park thing which had a bunch of poles with the Kimono fabric. Our last stop was a mountain with monkeys. It does not compare to monkey mountain in Taiwan, definitely more commercialized and a fraction of the hike, but it was pretty cool. You get to feed the monkeys through the wire cage and their hands feel like human hands which is a little unsettling but makes sense. There was also this cute little baby monkey and later I saw his mom carrying him around and back to the safety of the mountains away from the people. And that was the end of our tour.

Our guide and some of the other people in our group suggested I should visit Fushimi Inari Shrine - so I did. This is a very famous Shinto shrine and is known for its thousands of torii gates that lead to Mount Inari. The gates are basically sponsors and are an avenue for Kami (the god-like spirits) to enter through (that's why you are supposed to walk on the sides- to give spirits room to walk through the middle). Inari is the Shinto goddess of rice (perceived gender has changed over time, but in ancient times Inari is depicted as female). Today, Inari's domain is more than rice; over time rice was generalized to agriculture which is now just business. You pray to Inari for success in business. I prayed at a few different shrines along the way and I prayed at the top of Mount Inari. I will say taking pictures at religious monuments makes me a little uncomfortable and feels a little wrong. It supposed to be a sacred site and there you are making sure you take a picture of yourself to post - just seems a little disrespectful to the faith I guess is what I'm saying. And honestly, I took some pictures of my experience too and they will probably end up on Instagram so I'm being hypocritical. But I will say, some of these people are taking pictures of themselves with professional cameras in the middle of crowds holding everyone up, some are leaning on the torii, some people wait in the middle of the path for other people to pass them to get a picture. It just feels like the reason they're there is for a picture and not to immerse themselves in a culture. As you got closer to the top, there were less people because there are many opportunities to cut the loop short- it is a long and mountainous loop. And by the time I got back down, all of the tourist shops were closed so I didn't get any trinkets or charms.

This was a HIKE. I was basically doing stairmaster for an hour and a half. I was very dehydrated and even ate my emergency snack and laid down for a second. I had some protein (20g) chocolate milk from the convenience store before and after my visit to the temple and was very hungry so I picked up this bento box at the train station so that I wouldn't have to leave the hotel after I got there. It was so nasty. They didn't have anything vegetarian so I settled for fish and I didn't even eat it. The egg loaf saved me on the protein side. And I had the probiotic drink for dessert. yum. Those probiotic drinks are very popular on this side of the world.

When I flipped on the TV in the hotel today, I found myself on a news channel that was in English, but was for China. Consumers are spending more on services than goods. Consumption is also growing in China overall. Consumption is also less quantity and more quality oriented. I think these are trends that the rest of the world will see as well (at least for large first world countries like the US). When the weather turned on, I noticed that Taiwan was considered a part of China and it just hit me how even though Taiwan is so independent and has so much of its own identity, it still has a conflicting political stance. When I was there, I was in Taiwan, not the Republic of China (imo, for legal reasons).

I half-expected Percabeth to say "Lin Manuel Miranda!" when they saw Έρμης (Hermes). If they had, Έρμης (Hermes) could've either said "That's me!" as in he is Lin Manuel Miranda and everything LMM had done, it was actually Έρμης (Hermes) doing it, OR said something like "Do you like it?" as in he identity-theft cosplayed LMM.

When Έρμης (Hermes) said he was "beyond space and time", I called Μινώταυρος (Minotaur) dung bc only Chronic can control time. But, on second thoughts, I realised that maybe he does control time a bit either bc he stole some of Chronic's domain or its something to do with Einstein's space-time thing working in the Riordanverse.

Flashbacks, ouch! Not worth it, ouch! Never fair, I really hate the Fates sometimes! Powerless gods, ouch! Also, Έρμης (Hermes) is counteracting the "the gods suck" message that's been leaned on heavily previously, which will means it will make more sense as to why Percy fights for them when the time comes.

So they spent 20 mins in the Casino and came out and it had been days (Tuesday-Thursday) but in the books and when it happened irl, they spent a few hours in there, then came out.

Ofc Έρμης (Hermes) knew Annabeth took his keys. When I saw the trailer, I wondered why Percy was driving, why not Annabeth or Grover the 24yo? It makes complete sense in context tho. Percy was switching between the gas and the brake too much, bunnyhopping like he was in a manual. And now Έρμης (Hermes) is probably mad abt his car being trashed. Also, the car had very lucky timing.

The Solstice has already passed? What? What happened? Why? ... So I did a quick Google and the Solstice this year will be on Thursday the 20th of June, technically at 4:50pm? so Ζεύς (Zeus) is apparently being a stickler for the rules, the hypocrite. Couldn't he have waited until midnight? Gods above!

Four pearls? FOUR? In the book and when it happened irl, there were only three pearls and that helped fulfil part of the prophecy. So, what are you doing, bro? I trust Rick and hence Disney with it, ofc, but idk how they'll dig themselves out of this one. Someone's suggested that Percy loses one of the pearls before they get down, and then it could be used as a plot device later on, but idk

WINDENBURG YEARS S2EP3 PART 4

I wake up from my nap and check the clock, it’s been 2 hours. I immediately get out of bed to check on Theo and Dylan. She’s probably driving him insane.

I go in the living room and Theo is watching tv while Dylan is laying in her playpen, QUIET.

Dakota: She’s been quiet this whole time?

Theo: She got scared in her sleep and cried for a second but she went right back after I rubbed her stomach.

Dakota: Wow, you weren’t lying. You are good with kids.

Dakota: At least our baby will have you. You’ll clearly be the superior parent.

Theo:  Baby, come sit down.

Theo: You cannot let one day dictate your parenting.

Dakota:  Theo, I couldn’t even get her down for a nap. It took you all of 10 mins.

Theo: I’ve had a lot of experience with babies and kids.

Dakota: Yeah, I don’t understand that. You’re an only child.

Theo: I used to babysit all the time before I moved to copperdale. I actually looked forward to it because I was an only child.

dropping some thoughts about vida here

i started watching this show for melissa barrera and i absolutely enjoyed it and have rewatched some episodes bc it's very entertaining

s3 felt kind of different, it was almost like the sisters switched roles at some points

i might be reading too much into it, but in the first few eps as emma and nico's relationship was going well i would look at emma's face and be like she's happy but she's still waiting for the other shoe to drop, and of course it did. and i was so sad to see her clam up again and fall back into her whole "vulnerability = weakness" thing. for a few episodes she just looked so dead inside like she was seriously depressed and triggered with everything going on, like nico's secret wife and her awful dad making himself known

i love lyn so much but i need her to be single. i'm so glad she finally realized where her true priorities lie and that she needs to work on turning into a chameleon with the men in her life but i just hate that it happened in the last like 20 minutes of the series finale

side note but i was not expecting lyn to get so into religion for a hot minute. i mean i understand that it was her yet again molding herself to the people in her life, so i think she snapped out of it once her father showed his true colors but still like it was so jarring. god the man gave me such awful vibes and the last scene of him and emma after she confronted him was legitimately hard to watch

the sisters spent so much time apart and on different pages this season it made me sad :( i completely understand why but i do miss the moments in the first episode or in earlier seasons when they were sisterly and messing with each other

i love that mari had some more time this season to build herself up a little more and yes this is cruel to say but her dad dying is a blessing ! now she can finally look after herself and find people who appreciate what she does. honestly that man pretty much killed himself after he kicked out the only child who actually took care of him. ladies ask not what u can do for machismo but what machismo can do for u

god i wish this new generation of shows had longer seasons. a 6 episode season is nowhere near enough to develop the characters and storylines better (even tho this season the episodes weren't all 30 min like s1 and s2). i was like holy shit things are happening so fast it's one terrible thing after the other but of course they are, they only have like 5 hours to tell the story!!

i'm really fond of this show and how witty it is, its integration of mexican and american and mexican-american cultures, the spanglish, the butch rep!! everything

actually one of my favorite moments this season was when lyn was talking to that european dude at her bf's mom's bday party (fuck her bf and his mom by the way holy shit he was such a weirdo) and she was talking about how difficult it is to be perceived as mexican by gringos while still not being mexican enough for mexicans. when she said she couldn't even hold a conversation in english or spanish i was like u read my mind. i'm literally incoherent. anyway it really resonated with me as an immigrant and i think it's such an important conversation to have!!

anyway emma and lyn repaired their relationship and their bigoted father is rotting in hell and they keep the bar and eddy's back too and everything is going better than ever, they told me so themselves <3

A/N: Hey guys!! It’s been a hottt minute since I posted anything. I’ve genuinely been so busy with work and uni and lots of moving 😅. Life has just been a lot and finding time to write was kinda tricky but hopefully going forward I’ll be a little better at it. I did have one user ask about me potentially writing something separate about Jared and his imprint and I actually really liked the idea and finally got around to it so hopefully you guys enjoy it!

3 weeks. 3 weeks is how long it’s been since I’ve avoided you. 3 weeks of trying to ignore how much I miss our conversations or your laugh or even just your presence. 3 weeks of pretending Im okay and feeling guilty for not being able to be honest because how do I tell the most important person in my life that I’m falling for the one person they want a chance with more than anybody else. 3 weeks of feeling like the worst best friend in the history of best friends. *Ring ring ring* and there goes the last bell signaling the end of the school day and effectively bringing me out of my thoughts. I gather and pack up all my things and start heading out the door to meet Kim as per our usual routine of walking home together. As I go to put my things in my locker I can hear someone stopping next to me. “Hey would you wanna go get ice cream on our way home?” I start asking Kim as I shut my locker only to turn and come face to face with the last person I wanted to see at the moment. Jared Cameron. “Sorry I thought you were Kim, what’s up?” He doesn’t respond for a minute or two, just continues staring at me. “Cameron?” Looks like he snapped out of whatever trance he was in. “Sorry, I was just wondering if I did something wrong or if you’re mad at me?” “Huh? Now knowing that Kim was 100% okay with anything happening between Jared and I, I feel a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Maybe that’s why I don’t hesitate to close my locker and immediately turn “Hey Jared, what’s up?” “Hey Y/N, I know this is kinda random but we got interrupted yesterday and I was just wondering if maybe you know you would like to go out with me?” He rambles really quick and closes his eyes and turns his head like he’s waiting for me to yell at him. “Like a date?” “Huh? Oh yeah, uh like a uh date? If that’s okay?” “Okay” “Wait okay? Like okay yes?” “Yes Cameron lol okay yes. After putting in my number and watching him excitedly leave almost tripping over another student when he turns to wave at me one last time, I don’t stop myself from letting out a laugh and smiling this time. I just know he’s going to make me the happiest girl in the world and the best part is I didn’t even have to go looking for him. I guess I have the moon goddess to thank for that.

i havent read the books. i havent played the game. i only saw the movie. it was good, but das all ive seen of it. i did see the new anime on netflix directed by abel gongora n animated by science saru. its actually hella better than i thought it would be. where do i start.

dear lord the style. this is absolutely oozing with a gorgeous and colorful style that i just couldnt get enough of. scored by joseph trapanese n anamanaguchi, the music for this was just also hella good too. the character designs are fantastic, scott, ramona, stephen, kim, young neil, matthew, knives, everyone looks so perfect that it feels like even the main characters didnt get enough screen time because i just wanted to look at their designs.

the writing is kinda weak. i mostly just mean the little character writing moments. maybe its just the english dub needing to match the lip flaps cuz it was translated from japanese, but sometimes it doesnt always sounded as i expected it to. thats not to say that it was bad, but it couldve been better. thats just me tho. the story was great, and hella different than what i was expecting from it. at first, i was jus like "da heck happened dawg" but i got on board real quick. the vocal performances were perfect practically across the board! there were moments where they were a bit awkward, but my god even will arnett did great in the role he had. he coulda had a bit more screen time though.

everyone coulda had a bit more screen time, if im being real. i really enjoyed that it spent its 20 min 8 ep run well, but it coulda benefited if it had an extra episode or two just to give us more time with some characters. thats really my big complaint, i just wanted more of it. i really enjoyed it a lot, and its making me wanna read the comics n play the games. go watch. very good good. (scuffed review, school been kickin me down n im very tired. pray for me to finish another smelly book)

hihi tell me a bit about ori :3

hiiii so sorry for the late late reply i wanted to wait till i got on my laptop at home so i can format it well (also it took me 3 hours to write this aaaaaaaah) so here it goes! first of all thank you so much for askingggggggggggggg !!

Ori was 29 when they moved to stardew valley , they feel like they wasted their teens and 20's working for Joja corp back at zuzu city which they regret immensely

Ori as a kid used to love going to the nearby small forest and explore all day but then the forest was cut down to make way for a joja warehouse building since then Ori didn't really go out except to the zuzu mall with friends ( Gwen from the zuzu city mod) their fav past time was to hangout around the video games merch and comics store to observe the Hot gamerz and nerdz that came in and out of that store ( yk typical teen stuff lol)

Ori's parents are divorced, they live with their mother,and ever since the divorce they stopped being the outgoing person they always were, they decided to take a part time job at a joja mart nearby and then just continued to work for them since then

they moved to stardew valley at the urging of their mom after they opened grandpa's letter because they almost didn't take the offer they thought it was too much work and too late for them to change careers but their mom believed they could do it and wanted them to leave Joja

i headcannon grandpa in this save to have been a very good adventurer along side being a farmer basically THE original Min/Max farmer before my farmer comes along lol and he is best freinds with both Lewis and Marlon

so when Ori moved to stardew valley and was greeted by everyone so enthusiastically it actually scared them and they spent all spring barely leaving their farm but once they needed to go to the mines they started running into Marlon

Marlon's gruffy attitude reminded Ori of their grandpa alot which made them very sad and nostalgic for their grandpa, by then they had started to want to become more like him so they went out to fight monsters like he did but of course Ori was not prepared so they had alot of near death experiences only to be saved by the town's residential doctor Harvey

Marlon took note of whats happening and offered Ori a sword and a place in the adventures guild, secretly they thought Ori reminded them of their grandpa trying to balance the whole world on their shoulders and thought he could atleast try to help so he trains them to use the sword at night at the adventures guild

since Ori leaves the adventure guild late at night and runs into Sebastian alot, they are slowly becoming good friends!

ever since Ori visited the wizard and drank that ...uh... essence of the forest potion they find themselves wandering the deep forest in stardew valley over and over again!

im gonna stop here because if i keep going imma need another 3 hours or so lol

Turning TumblrTextTint Into An Extension - Part 3

I am super happy with my progress in making browser extensions! I am using my TumblrTextTint as my guinea pig project to convert into an extension and things are going great!

Firefox

The first browser I tested was Firefox, which is my default browser! I made a few versions of the extension and now it works amazingly! It's now uploaded to the Mozilla Add-ons website - which you can view here!

Chrome

The next browser I tested on was Chrome. It is similar to how you upload extensions on Firefox, but I had to change my .json and JavaScript code multiple times because I had to use a newer version of the manifest.json file (Manifest V3) per Google Chrome's request. Besides that, everything ran okay from the developer side so I uploaded it and now I'll have to wait for the review!

Unlike the Firefox version (because it wouldn't work on Firefox for some reason), I made an onboarding page for when the user installs the extension, they get to see a page to say the installation is a success and guides the user to the instructions page.

Microsoft Edge

The laptop I use for work has both Chrome and Microsoft Edge on it so I thought why not learn how to upload it on Microsoft Edge Addons too! I read and it said that Chrome and Microsoft Edge are connected in a way so minimal changes to your extension's code are needed. Now I've uploaded it and now I waiting for a review to say it's published!

Comparing the different browser's process experience

Being that I used Firefox first, I had to learn everything from scratch! The Developer's Hub, where you organise your extensions and themes, is pretty straightforward! Easy to upload and update new versions of your extension. It took around 9 hours for my extension version 1 to be approved but whenever you update it, it would only take around 10-20 mins for nice approval! So, a good 8/10!

Google Chrome came in confusing me. It talked about my manifest.json file's version is out of date and that I need to switch from manifest V2 to V3. Fair enough, the documentation for the migration was somewhat confusing so I had to use places like StackOverflow for help. Plus I decided to add the onboarding page I wanted to use for Firefox on this version of the extension so a bit of extra work! The Developer's Hub is easy to use too! I'd rate the experience a 6/10 - you do need to pay a one-time payment of $5 (£4) to be allowed to upload any extension to the Web Store!

Lastly, Microsoft Edge was also a bit confusing on where their actual 'create an extension' page was located. I looked everywhere for 20 mins looking for it and turns out it was on the hamburger menu to the left... silly me for not looking there. You do need to sign up to their Microsoft Partner Center to be able to upload (free). Besides that, everything was the same and now I am waiting for the approval! I'd rate the experience an 8/10 too!

So after some thought and seeing an anon send you answers one of their OCs gave for that Questionnaire, I figured it would be a fun idea to use one of my OCs for this

Specifically Akatani Min who is....a fun choice for a lot of reasons~

1. My eyes are brown, but if it helps I do have white hair. Traits my own son inherited, while he got his father’s Quirk. Though one of my parents did have green eyes, so it’s very likely a recessive trait.

2. Surprisingly it is despite my age. But I would rather not let that blasted Garaki even think about touching me. That old coot will be getting a face full of cane if he even looks at me funny, especially since I’m obviously the superior medical professional around here.

3. If you knew even a lick about genetics then you would know there is a possibility of a child between the two of us having green eyes if you also have a gene for green eyes. Or did Garaki fill your brain with his crackpot bullshit theories?

4. Oh I put a tracking device on my son ages ago. I wouldn’t be surprised if he figured it out by now, but I doubt he minds because he knows me well enough as a mother. Though it has gotten difficult keeping up with him with how fast he can get, but I think he’s finally starting to slow down.

5. It depends on who makes more money, and I sincerely doubt you have as much capital as me. Who knows...

6. I’ve already adopted before, so I can adopt again. I have plenty of room in my house.

7. I have cooks for that, but I do know how to make dumplings. My son absolutely adores them, same with my dear granddaughter. Now she is the absolute cutest! I say that even though she is probably in her 40s by now, but still absolutely adorable with her round pinch able cheeks, I hear she has a son with similar cheeks. If only I could meet him...

8. I have finished reading hundreds of stories in my long life. Some endings are pretty lackluster however, especially the one from those Captain Hero comics. But that will get me rambling like an old lady and my son always begs me to stop.

9. My late husband used to wear ties, but I was always neutral about them. A man shouldn’t be defined by what he wears.

10. Design wise I would have to say the Demon King, but his actual character left much to be desired. You would think he would be some type of mastermind, but instead he focused too much on fighting Captain Hero that he lost sight of his goals. What a waste of potential.

11. Never! In fact, I’m going to include a picture of my son at the very end of this little questionnaire.

12. My house is large enough to fit plenty of people

13. I would adore having someone like him as a grandson-in-law. Such a shame my granddaughter chose to marry some idiot businessman who only cared about appearances.

14. My son’s hair can look a little spiky sometimes, but he knows to clean himself up when he comes home for a visit.

15. I do have a couple bank vaults in my home, but those are purely for storing valuables.

16. I have seen the times before the Hero System came to be, and I would rather see something better be formed than outright destroying it.

17. Obviously the answer is B, I know the gap between my husband and I was fairly large though. But that’s unavoidable when you have a type of Longevity Quirk, no?

18. My son is actually a Hero, though he should be retiring soon enough. I would not be opposed to a new child wanting to be a Hero, but only if he has the right tools for it.

19. I know there were times when I had to discipline my son, and I hear he took some of my lessons to heart when dealing with his best friend’s child. I will admit I was a little harsh on him, but I’ve grown wiser and if I were to have a new child than I’d probably spoil them rotten. I know I did that with my granddaughter.

20. Not a lot of options? Well better than naming him after that quack of a doctor you seem especially fond of

21. If we’re in my house then I will have my butler suffocate you with his Quirk. But if we’re at your home then I will just leave.

23. I would be very hypocritical if I were to judge you for being a criminal or villain.

24. I technically did not pick Option C, but I will say my preferred color of choice is actually red.

25. Well I haven’t resurrected my last husband, so that should be an easy answer. And no, I don’t need your life insurance or money.

26. I only filled this out for fun, I truly do not like you at all. But my beef is more with your doctor friend as I consider him as my personal rival.
