The misuse of the "insult to life itself" quote from Miyazaki on AI burns my yams so bad bc the original context is being disgusted with how a characters movements are dehumanizing to disabled people specifically bc of his empathy for a disabled friend and it's such a sadly rare sentiment, this cognizance of how we casually inflict indignity upon disabled people and how he finds it disgusting, I hate seeing it obfuscated

The long ass posts I was talking about needs time in the oven since i gotta reread alot of Fujimotos works to be able to talk about them much better. In the meanwhile oh my fucking god

Fujimoto really said "April Fools, all youve been reading sofar is a lie!" And its so obvious in hindsight!!! We have a major plotpoint of another Devil lying about being another concept entirely and Fami uses Primal fears like they are just pokemon.

But it leaves so many questions too! What REALLY is Deaths plan here? Who is the true King of Fear? Its certainly not Fami. Is it War? Is it like the Prophecy devil? Like what are we working with here? I am fully in the "I dont know what the hell is going on" camp again. She Sewed chaos in the world making Chainsaw Man and War super strong to fight... Herself? see that doesnt make any sense so whats going on here

The fact that Fami initially tried to come up with a plan to save Humanity that was ultimately foiled because Nayuta simply wanted to have a normal life instead and then turning around and just wanting to live a self realised normal life is so beautiful actually. She cant save the world, she has a festival to plan with her friends after all. (Truly the biggest IDGAFer of all time) Its beautiful! She was already my favourite supporting character but she is elevated so much in this chapter. This chapter is the kinda shit I live for, It has so much to love in it!

I need todo some reasearch on symbolism becuase Fujimoto what are you cooking with the "Oh yeah Humans just naturally turn into trees if they live long enough" becuase this isnt even the first time Humans turn to trees in his stories. Like what are we implying here? Its fascinating
