So About the New Asra Tale by Dorian...
The plot was, not great. It was pretty boring, but it did touch up on a few interesting points from Asra's main story; like how much of his memory did he loose, his past before MC's death, and what extremes he had to go through because of MC's death like erasing his own memories of certain spells, which in my opinion is a very interesting scenario. Things did seem rushed considering the fact that the story had two endings depending on whether you chose to use the spell or not; and how the supposedly "bad ending" kind of implied that you and Asra somehow may have brought back the plague? or Lucio i.e the plague? It was left up to interpretation. The writing was, not good. I think they did try their best to stay true to Asra's tone even if it was a bit too on the nose at times and a little overbaord. But it was mainly the MC and the Magician that felt most off note to me.
That all being said, I like many others don't consider this a part of canon, it does ultimately give off a very wattpad feel. But in all honesty so did some of the main content after probably halfway through the main 3's routes. I think many people forgot just how erratic and disorganized the Nix Hydra Team was and how many people who came up with the original storyline had left the company before the end of the M3 routes. But a lot of people don't seem to notice that because all the content was in one place, the arcana app. Which brings me to my next point.
I think a good portion of the hate Dorian is getting is mainly due to the fact that their app is terrible. The UI is confusing, the app lags a lot and it's very slow. The game looks different on the dorian app, the font is wrong, there's no music, the character sprite animation is messed up, and the LI never says your name. And a lot of people have demanded that Dorian uploads the new conent to the Arcana app. But after thinking about it I personally think it's a good thing that the Dorian content and the "original" content stay physically seperated, so we know where one starts from where one ends. And I know a lot of people would disagree because using the Dorian app is a hassle, but like I mentioned before. Dorian is making fanfiction (but worse). They're using whatever's left of the arcana fandom to make some cash. This whole thing with Dorian creating new routes and new content is just another marvel-like tactic of beating a dead horse with a stick. And, they're even using the same Nix Hydra trick of placing the best content behind a paywall.
I'm personally not even upset at how terrible the app is, or how rushed and boring and generally just bad the tale was, I think I'm more upset that we won't put the Arcana Game to rest. And instead we have to watch as corporation after corporation uses the story for whatever means it wants to make money. I'm more upset that things can't just end and be celebrated for being. And how the way we engage with media has mutated into something more greedy and gluttonous.
What I'm saying is, we had a beginning and ending, we had prologues and epilogues and hidden scenes. We had plenty. We don't need more. Sometimes enough is enough.
#the rest should be left in the hands of fans#as free content creators for passion and love#not for a make cash scheme#while it was amusing to read a new asra tale and see some cute official art#i think we should put the pen down and honor the story properly#by leaving it the fuck alone#the arcana game#the arcana#dorian games#asra#asra alnazar#asra the magician#asra the arcana#arcana thoughts#also like maybe a new adaptation like an anime or novel woukd be cool but this.#this is shit

Title: Lunar Eclipse Masquerade
Karlheinz pt. 1
Rating: PG
Word Count: 965
Pairing: Karlheinz x Skye (m/m)
ღ To honor the phenomenon of the first Lunar Eclipse in two years, Karlheinz decides to throw a Masquerade. ღ
Mun Yu: This is going to be presented a little different than my other written works. Since it is so long, I have decided to publish it in parts, rather than the novel that it is. Each boy will receive their own post, some getting more post than others. For each post, it will make a sort of time line of events - to help paint the entire story. All post will begin with the premise, and the continuation under the cut. Enjoy.
Additionally: I would love to thank @akai-anemone for their wonderful analysis on the affects of the Lunar Eclipse in DL

Despite what most people think, demonic beings are very social creatures. The elites hold countless balls and parties, celebrating their immortality together, and entertaining one another with stories. Typically, they are done in celebration for something – though this is not always the case. All types of beings from across the Demon Realm will come if the host is of high enough prestige.
There would be no such host if it was not for Karlheinz. Seated as the head of the Bat Clan (vampires), Karl’s reach spans far. Being the widow for the former Demon King’s daughter, and having children of the first blood, an invitation from the Vampire King is not one to refuse. Though why would you? In his immaculate castle within the Demon Realm, Eden Castle, it is always quite the spectacle. While the celebrations held in his Human World mansion are nice, nothing compares to a true night of pleasure within the true home of the King.
On this night, there was to be a Masquerade in honor of the first Lunar Eclipsed Moon in over two years. While this night may serve each species differently, the idea to celebrate its return was simply too tempting. For this reason, Karlheinz took it upon himself – or rather – his house, to host the event. This extended to his offspring as well, regardless of their personal agenda. Members of every social elite race accepted the offer, and gathered for a truly unforgettable evening.
Nestled away in the depths of the famed Eden Castle, are countless rooms devoted to Karlheniz’s infinite projects. These rooms are only accessible to the King himself, or at least they were until a certain Siren began working for him. After three years of service, Karl has permitted his assistant entry into a few of his laboratories. Skye was very capable, and always eager to assist.
On this day, Skye was assisting in one of the botany rooms. He wrote down observations with one particular line of plant Karl was experimenting with. “I do not think your experiment is progressing with these, My King.” Skye says, looking over the past notes. “There has yet to be much change, even after replanting.”
Karl was working at a high topped table, which was covered in fluorescent lighting. “Then dispose of it. Keep the base samples.” He orders without looking away from his work.
Skye did as he was instructed, taking small samples from each plant, isolating them in containers, and disposing of the bodies. “Once I am finished, we’ll need to go over your calendar.” Karl does not respond, but Skye knows he heard. After properly putting things back where they are supposed to go, Skype removes his gloves and picks back up his clipboard.
“First would be Subaru’s graduation. It was back in March and you have yet to acknowledge it. He’s your last one you know –"
“Not true… my small angel is still attending.” Karls corrects as he finishes the delicate work, mixing what every plant with another. “Regardless, Subaru’s passing is a sign of the end.” His words held deeper meaning, as his plans for the Adam and Eve project were not going the way he was expecting. “Those boys are too old now… Are they also doomed to never be Adam…”
Skye could hear the annoyance in his master’s voice. “Now sire, you know that three of them are currently with potential Eves. Plus there is this new potential candidate.” Skye reassures him as he skims over the other things in the calendar. Most of it was keeping experiment dates. “Oh… here is something interesting. There is going to be a Lunar Eclipse in one week, according to your notes.”
Karl places a small cloth over the test dish, “Is that so… perhaps it is time to move things along.” As he rises from his position, his entire body seems to grow, though there are no feet beneath him. “My Siren, I have a special task for you.” As he speaks, a paper and pen jump to life and begin writing down his thoughts.
“Here in my home we shall host a Masquerade to welcome this Eclipse, after all there has not been one for two years. Invite everyone on this list.” He instructs as he puts away some of the equipment. “My sons should all be in attendance. This will be the first event in our main home for a long while.” Karl moves over to Skye as he watches the enchanted pen and paper make the list for him. “Oh… and I will have you as my Co-host for the night.”
Skye had been caught up in watching the notes to truly hear what Karl had just said. “Do not worry, I will make sure everything goes smoothly. You won’t even know I’m there.” He ensures as the note finishes and he places it into his stack.
As this happens, Karl closes the distance between them, circling an arm around Skye’s back, pulling inward. “That was not my instruction.” He speaks a bit softer, “I plan to have you by my side all evening. Enjoying the event, rather than worrying over it.”
Skye’s face flushed for a moment. This was new. Sure, Karl had taken him out before. It wasn’t as if the two had never been intimate either, it was just, “My King… this would be in front of… well all the powers of the realm. I’m not suited to be an escort let alone your-"
Karl leans in close, placing a small kiss against Skye’s cheek. “Are your powers not perfect for just such a thing? I plan to show you off, do not disappoint me.” With those words, Karl moves from Skye, and leaves the young siren to his newest task.

New Memories
Summary: You try to help Sam remember what it means to celebrate Christmas.
Word Count: 1400
Warnings: fluff, some swearing, tiniest bit of angst
Pairing: Sam x Reader
A/N: This was a request by @awesomesusiebstuff ! I started following you after reading your story, Merry Christmas, Baby and was hoping you might do a request for me. Could you write something where the reader is really trying to help Sam Winchester find a reason to want to celebrate the holidays after all the losses? Not looking for smut or angst but holiday spirit and fluff. Thank you for your request!! I had to incorporate a bit of angst for the story to work properly, but I tried to limit it as much as possible and focus on holiday spirit/cheer! I hope you like it. ❤❤
“So I think we'll need about a pound of apples and two pounds of cherries,” you said. You looked down at the grocery list before you and worried the pen between your teeth. “Does that sound right to you?” you asked Dean who sat in front of you.
Dean had just taken a sip of his coffee but nearly spewed it as he fought to hold back a laugh. “Don't ask me, sweetheart,” he huffed out a chuckle after he'd swallowed. “I'm just gonna be sampling the pie,” he said teasingly.
You rolled your eyes. “You're no help at all,” you scoffed. His eyes sparkled mischievously as he took another sip.
“No help with what?” Sam asked, coming into the kitchen and going to the coffee maker.
You turned in your seat to face Sam. If anyone came to your defense it'd be him, and you were determined to have him in your corner in this. “I'm trying to plan a Christmas party, and Dean said he wanted to help. I want to make at least three pies, but instead of helping me figure out what all we need for the ingredients, your brother is just sitting here and drooling,” you complained.
“Well, I think I can settle this conundrum,” Sam said.
“Oh, yeah?” you asked, turning back around in your seat and crossing your arms. “And what's that?” You gave Dean a triumphant look just waiting for Sam to put him in his place.
“We're not having Christmas,” Sam stated bluntly.
Your self-satisfied smirk fell from your lips, and you whirled around. “What?” you screeched.
Sam turned around and leaned back against the counter. “You heard me,” he said, taking a sip of coffee.
“And why the hell not?” you asked incredulously.
Sam shrugged. “Just because,” he answered vaguely.
Dean had been silent the whole time, enjoying watching you squirm under his brother's words. But the more Sam argued, the more Dean felt this had gone too far. He was just as excited about Christmas as you were. “You're not the only one in the bunker, you know?” Dean said with a frown.
“Yeah, I know,” Sam said. “I just thought we could do something different this year.”
You narrowed your eyes. “We haven't celebrated Christmas in over five years,” you said.
“So?” Sam asked.
“So this is the something different,” you said exasperatedly, throwing your hands in the air.
“Come on, Sammy,” Dean implored. “There has to be a reason why you're so aga….”
“For fuck's sake!” Sam snapped. “Isn't me not wanting to celebrate a good enough reason?” he asked. He sat his cup on the counter with a thud, the contents sloshing onto the counter. He stalked from the room, a deep frown marking his brow.
You turned towards Dean, wide-eyed. Dean returned your shocked gaze and let out a low whistle.
“What was that about?” you whispered harshly.
Dean shrugged and looked towards the doorway. “I have no fucking clue,” he said.
You sighed. “I'll go talk to him,” you said, pushing back from the table.
You found Sam's door partially open, and you could hear him shuffling inside. You knocked quietly, not wanting to startle him. You entered gingerly when you heard no answer.
He was sitting on the edge of his bed when you walked in. You closed the door and made your way over to him. His face was hard, and his jaw ticked as he stared straight ahead. “Sam,” you said quietly, placing your hand on his shoulder. “Please tell me why you don't want to celebrate Christmas. I know it's not 'just because,’” you chuckled.
When he didn't answer you sighed. “I just want to understand,” you said.
Sam’s shoulders slumped, and he hung his head. “It's just…. After everything we've been through, and after all the people we've lost, it feels wrong to celebrate. Almost like we're disrespecting them. I just don't see the point or even know a good reason to.”
You gave Sam a slight smile. “I get it, Sam. I really do,” you said. “But there are a myriad of reasons why we can and should celebrate Christmas this year.”
Sam looked at you, his eyes filled with skepticism.
“One,” you said, ticking off your fingers. “It'll give us a chance to get our minds on more pleasant things instead of everything we've been dealing with lately. Two: All those people we've lost wouldn't want us to wallow. They would want us to remember the good times. Which brings me to my next two points.
“Three: Christmas gives us a chance to reminisce about happy times with the people who aren't here anymore but who we still love and cherish. And lastly: It'll give us an opportunity to make new memories.” You watched Sam intently, hoping something you said was making some kind of difference, but his face remained unreadable.
You got up from the bed and were about to walk out, but you stopped at the door. “You know, Sammy, there’s this quote I read once by Agnes M. Pahro. She said that Christmas was “tenderness for the past, courage for the present, and hope for the future.” Christmas is a chance to harness those things. If we don’t, then we’ve clearly forgotten what it is to be human.”
You opened the door and stepped through but paused once more. You sent him a thin-lipped smile. “Now you can decide to join or us not. That’s up to you. But you’re not the only one living here and me, Dean, and Cas - we’re going to celebrate,” you said firmly. You closed the door quietly and made your way back to the kitchen, hoping something you’d said got past Sam’s tough exterior.
**********
You, Dean, and Cas were in the kitchen cooking and laughing. Dean was basting the ham while Cas stood at the island, awkwardly mashing potatoes. The eldest Winchester was regaling you both with stories about Bobby, his dad, and a few with other hunters and friends he’d made along the way.
The three of you were laughing so hard you barely heard the soft tap of knuckles on wood. The laughter ceased and the kitchen grew quiet. You turned to find Sam standing uncertainly in the doorway.
“Hey,” you said with a grin.
“Hey,” Sam said, giving you that boyish half-smile. He took a deep breath and shoved his hands in his pockets. “You’re right,” he said.
You smiled, your heart swelling with joy. “Here,” you said, holding out a ball of dough. “You can help me put the final touches on the pies.”
Sam came to your side, taking the dough from you with a wide grin. You sprinkled a bit of flour on the countertop before handing the rolling pin to Sam.
Laughter once again rang throughout the bunker and for the first time in a long time, things felt right.
**********
After eating, you, Dean, Cas, and Sam made your way to the library where Dean and Cas had set up the Christmas tree. You had already adorned most of its branches with ornaments, lights, and garland.
You went to the old Men of Letters’ record player, choosing a classic Christmas album and putting it on. The sounds of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” floated through the air as you made your back to the boys.
“Would you do us the honor, Sam?” you asked, handing him the multi-colored star.
Sam smiled, taking it from you and placing it on the top with ease. Dean plugged in the tree and the library was illuminated with white, red, green, and blue lights and everything sparkled and glittered in their glow. You all stepped back, admiring the beauty and relishing the feel of joy and peace.
You started when you felt Sam’s arm slip softly around your waist. Without warning he cupped your cheek, leaned down, and pressed his lips to yours. You found yourself melting into him, his scent like that of cinnamon and cloves and his taste one of apple pie and hot chocolate.
Your head was spinning when Sam finally pulled away. “What was that?” you asked breathlessly. You put your fingers to your lips, shocked that your best friend had just kissed you.
Sam grinned, his eyes sparkling with a light you hadn’t seen in ages. “I’m making new memories,” he said before capturing your lips in another kiss.

☔️
it’s been about a month now since TSL shut down. i’ve been thinking of how best to summarize my thoughts on the odd things that happened to me there and i’ve decided it’s best to split my thoughts up into a few posts. this is my first!
so, for starters! drumroll pleaaaaaase 🥁 i would like to clear the air.. i am very excited to say that i have properly identified and spoken to the real KalindaKing!
you may or may have noticed before the app shut down, but KalindaKing actually @‘d me in one of her final posts on the app, saying she had seen my theory but that sadly she is an only child.
unfortunately, yes, KalindaKing was not Kimby Kloss. i uhh, take it she herself confirmed it for me recently!
actually, about a month after posting my theory, a mutual of mine tipped me off to a social media post that seemed to be from someone who might be KalindaKing (the gist of the post was, to paraphrase, i saw a theory that i’m karlie’s sister. i wish!), and i had been keeping tabs on it for some time. the post did not get any traction (no likes, no shares) so there was no way to verify if it was related, but doing some digging and cross-referencing photos and whatnot i was left plenty suspicious.
So about 3 months went by after i had my lede on who it could be, and then 48 hours away from app shutdown KalindaKing @‘d me on TSL... so i decided to take the jump and direct message the suspicious person on social media. and, we had a match! it was her!
Can i just say she is just as delightful as she was on TSL? it was an honor to chat with her. turns out she is an active moderator under the same username on another app by the same company.
actually, 😂 the KK part is really a funny coincidence.. see, the moderator who went by the username KalindaKing on TSL originally created that username for herself because she is a moderator on the Kim Kardashian Hollywood app under the same username (she gave me permission to say that), and, alliteration, so go figure! it would appear i exquisitely took my conjectures a twist too far.
this moderator is a professional, so she did not disclose that much to me, but I was able to learn that the ‘TheSwiftLife’ account was the responsibility of her and someone else. She mentioned that Social (ie twitter/fb) was run by her. Someone else was helping out on the TSL app, ie, that account that gave out those persnickety taymoji gifts on the app. 🤨
for those of you who followed my theory closely, this newly confirmed information has likely allowed you to come to the same heartening conclusion that i did: this means that the “message to taylor” function on the app is in all likelihood indeed something that only taylor can see, or, isn’t accessible to just any glu employee. yes, those personal private messages to her were in fact kept private 🥰. that is to say, leading up to my big guess post, i had disclosed the content of my guess (that kimby was KalindaKing) using this function, asking for the go ahead here on tumblr. my theory is whoever the someone is that was helping out with the TheSwiftLife account did not have access to my secret messages, and that’s where the miscommunication between me and them occurred. oops...
if you are new here, you are probably wondering how sound this logic could be. it would also seem to be completely possible that the TheSwiftLife account simply didn't know i existed / had never read anything from me / had never interacted with me through the app.
to that i say:
i now have proof that at least one moderator from the app read my theory back in October 2018
i now have proof that the same moderator @‘d me in response to the theory 48 hours before the app closed on February 1st, despite having know about it for three months.. so i take it that it merited addressing
let me walk you through a sampler of five ‘interactions’ that occurred with me and TheSwiftLife between August and October of last year:
interaction one: 8/1 Puzzle Heart..
after showcasing some interest in the taymoji gifts and crafting my theory of what they meant, i had seen a through line in terms of the overall message being conveyed but was unsure of any of this was real. i posted here on tumblr for the taymoji gods to send me sign, and the TheSwiftLife account gave out a puzzle heart with the flavor text “put the pieces together” the chances of that taymoji being picked to be given out are, i would say, 1/128 chances. the gift giving was mainly from within a pool of the 64 song-based taymoji packs and always of one of the two rare taymoji from either pack, so, 64x2=128
interaction two, 8/29 Rabbit...
following a week of ttb using the emoji rabbit to welcome some anons into the kaylor fandom, TheSwiftLife gave out a rabbit with the flavor text “Fell down the rabbit hole...”
interaction three: 9/12 Pixels..
things felt surreal following the rabbit... so i asked TSL here on tumblr to show me a sign that proved they knew me and saw me. i said there was one taymoji out of them all (of which there are 653) that represented me. i had hoped for the pixel art heart taymoji, as it says in my profile here that i am a pixel artist... i assumed if TSL wanted to respond to my request, they’d poke around my blog and make that connection. 13 days after i made the post, they gave out that exact one. in response, i mentioned what a lovely birthday present this was, as it was coming 13 days before my birthday (i’m born on 9/25)
interaction four: 9/21 Balloons...
between the pixel heart and this next gift, i came to the conclusion that kimby could be spearheading the TheSwiftLife account (given an interaction between this blog and kimby’s instagram stories involving a yacht company), and, as i love cheesy things, i made the extra (flawed) assumption that, given KalindaKing appeared to be a pen name, it would be super duper ingenious if the KK stood for Kimby Kloss. i sent this prediction in the “secret message for taylor” function on TSL, assuming (incorrectly) whoever was on the other side could read it, and posted here on tumblr simply that “i know who you’ve been, and i take it you want me to share?” The next gift that TheSwiftLife gave out were a set of red balloons from the Mine pack, with the caption “Speak now if it’s your birthday this month”
interaction five: 10/1 Umbrella...
even so, i was very hesitant to go through with pushing my theory. it felt, again, unreal. so, i put up one more test... i asked here on tumblr something in the form of a riddle. I decided to phrase a request for them to give a taymoji in the form of a question. knowing the full range of taymoji possibilities, i picked the flavor text of a taymoji that had never been given out, and a double-rare one (which weren’t given out often) the umbrella, and put out my question: do you have my back even if it rains down on me? and the next gift given out was the very umbrella i expected, which has the flavor text “Don’t worry. I’ve got you covered!”
this span of time in particular (not limited to, but especially) is why i have a hard time not believing kaylor is real. why would taylor’s team let any of this fly, that is, why would they allow a bubbly and vocal kaylor experience this if kaylor wasn’t true?
i encourage everyone to look through my blog archive from August to October to see how it played out! it won’t take that long and i think it’s more interesting than just this post. it’s a sweet slice of time... happening before the political post, and then, the ‘wedding’ thing.
and: if you are to believe that this is all just coincidence, then you have to logically assume that every of the above interactions happened at random, with TheSwiftLife drawing from a catalog of over 100 possible choices each time, and accidentally giving something relevant each time. i am not even going to cover the many many other strange alignments between what i post on here and what kimby posts on instagram. the probability of these taymoji is enough.
even taking out of account the probability of the timing of each, and just looking at it like a kid’s math problem, it’s quite a rare outcome.
what is the probability of insinuating 5 specific symbols and drawing those 5 specific symbols out of 5 bags with 128 different symbols inside each, one after the other? 1/128 x 1/128 x 1/128 x 1/128 x 1/128 = 1/34,359,738,368
a one in 34 billion chance of it happening if it happened randomly.
you only think 3 out of the 5 coincidences above are legit? well that still an over one in two million chance. only believe in one of them? still just an 0.8% chance.
and i picked these five interactions because they hilight five times where there really couldn’t have been multiple “applicable” taymoji responses. i tried to cut out that grey zone for you, because there’s plenty of grey examples to pick from. i suppose with the balloons, they could have picked any birthday-looking taymoji and accompanied the gift with the same caption.. but in that case, it means you have to calculate the chances of them writing the birthday messaging after what happened with the pixel heart... and i don’t know how to calculate that...
i’m not even talking about how some of the taymoji given out twice coincided with celebrity appearances in the world of kaylor. i don’t know how to calculate the probability of karlie saying she’ll go to a taylor concert before a marching band hat is given out, and then her appearing at nashville the day after the marching band hat was given out again. or the paul mccartney coincidence, or the hayley kiyoko coincidence, just to name a few of the most straightforward. i’m not even gonna mention all that business about the app notifications freaking out on my phone (for which i have an excel spreadsheet up my sleeve for later should i decide to nerd out that much)
i don’t even need to touch that.
some epic sh*t was positively afoot, my darlings.
but i digress. pending, you know, ‘proof’, we have no surefire way to know about the who (or who all behind it) all of this is, but, i don’t think we need to be sure of that for the time being (uwu*). i just want to re establish that while KalindaKing was a glorious misfire, the mystery of the app still very much remains.
in my upcoming post (i need to buy myself some eyedrops or something because my eyes are redder than that st. louis park sculpture right now), i would like to rewind for a sec and set the question of who aside and refocus solely on what we learned from the gifts and what we can possibly take away from the experience as a whole.
for now, this is me saying, kimby, oops! sorry i thought you were KalindaKing and sorry for not triple checking with you. my double check was not enough. but i’m glad i took the plunge, because, better an oops than a what if, right? and i hope, at least you got a good laugh out of it! and also thank you lovely sisters ☺️ for you know, clearing the way for me to make this post. at least, that’s what it looked like to me. 📯🕊

Ask Me
For @earl-01 some asshole Hiromu
Pairing: Hiromu Takahashi/FC
Category: Suggestive
Warnings: Language; Sexual Content
Word Count: 1488
Out of everyone in New Japan you had to say that Hiromu Takahashi was by far your favorite interview. His sheer dedication to his character fascinated you. How he was in the ring carried over into his interviews with amazing alacrity. You had the pleasure of sitting down with him on three separate occasions so far, and each time you found him stealing a little bit of your heart. You had a huge crush on his free spirit.
Up until today you had only seen the naïve and childlike side of Hiromu. When he walked through the door today you could immediately tell you were being exposed to a different side of Hiromu Takahashi. He still had the same air of frenetic energy surrounding him, though it seemed more concentrated as he strolled into the rom. His eyes were hooded, face drawn tightly as he crossed the room and threw himself into the chair across the table from you.
“How are you today Hiromu?” You asked flashing him a bright smile as you pulled out your pen and paper ready to jot down notes once he started rambling.
“Tired.” He said shortly, his head hanging a bit, hair dangling over his eyes.
“Oh, I’m sorry. Did you not sleep well last night?” You asked in an effort to get him to engage with you. Otherwise this interview was going to be a flop if he wouldn’t give you more than one word answers.
“I’m tired of you.” Hiromu said bluntly making you gasp in surprise. “I’m tired of your stupid boring questions. Asking me the same thing every time I see you. ‘Hiromu how do you feel about your opponent? Hiromu are you going to win the match? Hiromu what does the writing on your tape mean?’ It’s ridiculous.” Hiromu mocked you. “Is it really that difficult to come up with something original?”
You were completely unprepared for the sudden hostility Hiromu was displaying. The two of you had gotten along so well in your prior interviews. You took a few deep breaths, hoping you weren’t letting him see how deeply his words had cut you.
“What do you want from me Hiromu?” You asked. “I’m just trying to do my job. I’m a wrestling journalist. I’m supposed to ask about your matches.”
“Challenge me.” Hiromu snapped, slamming his palms down on the table making a loud thwack echo through the room. You jumped at the aggressive move, heart pounding as you stared at Hiromu. “Ask me something no one else has.”
Caught completely off guard you stared blankly across the table as your mind scrambled for something, anything to ask that would satisfy Hiromu.
“C’mon Y/N,” Hiromu taunted. “I thought you were good at your job. The hot shot interviewer. Are you saying you can’t come up with a single out of the box question? You aren’t capable of improvising under pressure?”
“I…I don’t know.” You stuttered flushing as you felt yourself losing your cool. This had never happened to you before. You were always calm, cool and collected. Able to think on the fly and go with the flow. But Hiromu had you completely unbalanced with this sudden shift in personality.
Silence stretched throughout the room as Hiromu stared at you with fire burning in his eyes. He was challenging you, but you didn’t know why. He didn’t move a muscle, another factor that had you reeling. Hiromu was energy and movement, this stillness wasn’t him. It was like a completely different person had taken over him and you were floundering trying to get your footing.
“Ask me!” Hiromu suddenly shouted breaking the silence and making you startle again.
“Ask you what!” You yelled, frustration making you lash out. “Just what the hell am I supposed to be asking you?”
“Ask me how many times I’ve gotten my dick sucked this week?” Hiromu said with a filthy smirk.
“Excuse me?” You squeaked out shocked at what had just come out of his mouth.
“Ask me about the girls Naito and I fucked in the back of the limo last week.” Hiromu said. “Or about the girl Sanada and I shared last night.” You watched warily as Hiromu rose to his feet, keeping you trapped in his stare as he rounded the table until he was by your side.
“Ask me how we made her scream so loudly that our neighbors in the hotel called the police thinking we were killing her.” Hiromu sat on the table top next to you, leaning down to whisper: “Ask me.”
“I’m not going to ask you those kinds of questions.” You said trying to sound firm as you looked into his eyes. Hiromu smiled shaking his head as he reached his hand out to stroke his fingers along your cheek. His touch felt good and you leaned into it without being consciously aware of it, your eyes drifting closed for a second as his fingers trailed over your skin.
“Ask me to let you suck my dick,” Hiromu said, leaning down so his face was level with yours, his tongue darting out to lick his lips drawing your attention to them. It took you a second to comprehend his words as you tore your attention away from those full lips that you wanted to feel against your own.
“What?” You asked looking into his eyes wondering if you had heard what you thought you did.
“Ask me to let you put my cock in your mouth.” He repeated. Immediately you began shaking your head no, only to find the movement stopped as Hiromu grabbed the back of your head and forced you to nod yes. “Say the words.” Hiromu said sharply.
“Can I suck your dick?” You asked hesitantly flinching back as Hiromu threw his hands up in exasperation as he got to his feet and started pacing agitatedly around the table.
“That was pathetic,” Hiromu spat pausing in his frenetic pacing to cross his arms and stare petulantly at you. “You’re acting like you don’t want my dick. I know you do. I’ve seen you looking at me. I saw the lust in your eyes. You want it. So ask me properly.” He demanded.
You were so confused, lost as to how this interview had gone so badly off the rails. All you wanted was to ask your questions and write your story. Yet there was that part of you screaming Hiromu was right; that you had dreamed about what he was suggesting. That part that was salivating at the thought of him being in your mouth.
Hiromu watched you impatiently as you mulled over your response. He already knew what you were going to say. How he knew and you didn’t befuddled him, but it was no surprise to him when you slowly nodded your head.
“Hiromu, will you please let me suck your dick?” You asked sweetly looking to him with wide hopeful eyes as you drew your bottom lip between your teeth. Of course it wasn’t that easy Hiromu already shaking his head in the negative before you finished speaking.
“You’ve made this much more difficult that it should have been.” He said with a disappointed pursing of his lips. “I should have already been in your throat by now. Which means you’re going to have to work a little harder to get those pretty lips around me.”
Pulling out a chair from the table Hiromu sank into it in a wide legged stance, palming the growing bulge between his legs.
“I want you to get on the floor and crawl to me. Then you’re going to beg me real nice to give you the honor of having my cock between your lips.” Hiromu told you. His demand was degrading, yet it excited you. Nerves had your eyes darting to the door, scared someone may walk in on what was about to happen.
“Nobody but me will ever know.” Hiromu cajoled in his deep soothing voice. “Just crawl to me and I’ll give you want you’ve wanted.” Before you talked yourself out of it you pushed out of your chair and crawled around the table on your hands and knees towards Hiromu, coming to a rest at his feet and looking up at him with hopeful eyes.
“Please Hiromu, can I please taste you? Can I put you in my mouth and suck you?” You asked. For a few tense seconds you were afraid he was going to go back on his words and tell you no as he stared down at you with a contemplative expression before waving to his groin.
“You may. And when you’re done you’re going to thank me for allowing you to do so.” Hiromu said with a smirk as you nodded hands already reaching for his zipper as he leaned back and let you go to work.

Can you do a commentary for the Welcome Home scene where they adopt yoongi? "Seokjin squeezed Namjoon’s hand. “Okay, are you nervous? I’m nervous,” Seokjin said, wringing his hands together. He’d been excited all week for Yoongi’s adoption hearing..." It's a long scene so just pick and choose whatever you want!
I was just going to do all of it, and then I actually LOOKED at this scene, and oh my goodness gracious, I may have to pick and choose. Up front, I can tell you that I did a lot of research and that some of this is probably incorrect, but admittedly, I didn’t really know how many people would end up looking at this story, and I maybe could have put more effort in. (I did try to learn as much as I can before writing but I didn’t easily find many materials, so maybe I could have searched harder for some video or something.) To begin, here is the section:
Seokjin squeezed Namjoon’s hand. “Okay, are you nervous? I’m nervous,” Seokjin said, wringing his hands together.
He’d been excited all week for Yoongi’s adoption hearing. Seokjin had been almost frantic, cleaning and baking and being productive. He had been in such a great mood; he’d turned the house over, looking for things to clean and laundry to wash. Every time he thought about finally having custody over Yoongi, he was filled with energy.
But now that he was here, he was so worried about something going wrong. What if he said the wrong thing? Or what if Yoongi changed his mind and said he didn’t want to live with them? What if they weren’t fit parents?
“Why are you nervous?” Yoongi asked.
Seokjin looked down at him. Yoongi was dressed up in his new suit, about to see a courtroom for the first time. Not for the first time, Seokjin was struck with how much he had grown in their short time together. Seokjin bit his lip. “I’m… Well…” he trailed off, unsure of what to say. He didn’t want Yoongi to be worried, but he also didn’t want to lie to him. “I’m just scared I won’t be able to explain how much I love you when the judge asks.”
“Yeah, we love you more than words can say, Sugar,” Namjoon promised, and Seokjin elbowed him in the side for being corny.
“But you think it’ll be okay, right?” Yoongi asked. “You think it’ll be okay?”
“Of course. We’ve made a good home for you, Yoongi. They’ll see that,” Namjoon promised.
“They’ll see that,” Seokjin echoed, trying to convince himself. He knelt down and fussed with Yoongi’s hair, trying to make it lie perfectly against his head. “And you’re sure you want to live with us, right? You’re positive?”
Yoongi nodded frantically. “Yes. Forever,” Yoongi said. He squirmed. His little suit looked stiff on his body. “And you think it’ll be okay? This is gonna be okay?”
Namjoon snorted and ruffled the hair Seokjin had just spent so long fixing. “Listen to both of you guys, double-checking over and over. Everything is going to be okay, I promise. We all want to be a family, and as long as we say that, it’ll be okay. I promise you,” he said.
Yoongi took a deep breath, seeming assured. Meanwhile, Seokjin couldn’t help but notice the tension in Namjoon’s shoulders.
“But you think it’ll be okay?” Yoongi asked, compulsively asking again.
Seokjin managed to pull himself together. “Yes, Yoongi, it’ll be okay.”
Yoongi grabbed his shirtsleeve. “I don’t want to get moved.”
“I know, Yoongi, it’ll be okay,” Seokjin promised.
They waited in the hallway for a while before they were called into the courtroom. Yoongi kept asking over and over if everything was going to be all right, and Seokjin felt terrible for mentioning he was nervous. Yoongi had already been worried, and Seokjin had known that before he spoke up, and now Yoongi was twice as scared.
Fortunately, the first half of the trial went smoothly. The judge reviewed their paperwork one last time and made sure that everything was in order. Yoongi was –in fact- up for adoption, and his caseworker had confirmed that Seokjin and Namjoon had a suitable house for Yoongi to stay in.
Seokjin had been relieved that everything had been filed correctly, but he hadn’t been worried about whether or not the judge would verify their petition.
He had been worried about the short answer portion of the process.
“Now why is this adoption in the child’s best interest?” Judge Baker questioned.
Namjoon fielded the question easily. “Yoongi has lived in five homes before coming to ours, three of which were state-assigned housing that were unsuitable. My husband and I agree with Yoongi’s caseworker that it would be helpful for him to have a stable home.”
“And what about his parents?” Judge Baker asked.
Seokjin cleared his throat. “Dead, your Honor. He lived with his grandparents for a while, who have now died as well.” Yoongi gripped at the table next to him, his eyes wider than Seokjin was used to seeing. He rubbed his back to help him relax.
The judge nodded, confirming with her notes. “And from whom were you awarded custody?”
“The state,” Seokjin answered.
Namjoon nodded. “Yoongi has been living with us for three years now.”
The judge grunted and leaned over her desk. She looked at Yoongi, her face open and friendly now that she was talking to a kid instead of adults. “And have you liked living with your foster parents, Yoongi?”
Yoongi nodded and clutched at Seokjin’s arm. He seemed pale. “Yes,” he squeaked nervously. Seokjin patted his head with his free hand, hating how pale Yoongi looked.
The judge smiled at Yoongi’s answer. “Okay, that’s good. You should like living with the people who want to adopt you,” she said. Her gaze lifted to Namjoon and Seokjin. “And why would you as parents like to adopt?”
Seokjin and Namjoon looked at each other, both ready to answer. Namjoon nodded at Seokjin, and Seokjin floundered for a second before speaking. “Ah, well, honestly, your Honor, we’ve both fallen in love with Yoongi during the course of his stay. He had a hard time of things before coming to our house, and I hate the idea of him going to another house that is unable to care for him properly. I think we know what Yoongi needs, and we want to be able to give that to him.”
“Plus,” Namjoon said, straightening his tie. “Growing up, I had a similar experience in foster care as Yoongi. So personally, I can relate to what he’s been through, and… and so I think I can be helpful to him, especially considering how much I care about him.”
“But you have four other foster children,” Judge Baker mused, flicking through their paperwork.
“Right,” Namjoon said.
“But it wouldn’t impede on our ability to take care of Yoongi,” Seokjin promised. “We’re very purposeful about spending individual time with all of our boys.”
Namjoon put a hand on Seokjin’s elbow. “And Seokjin has done a great job of setting up a very structured household. The boys all have set responsibilities and schedules, so it’s very organized how we, like…, care for all of our kids, including Yoongi,” he assured.
The judge hummed. “Okay. Well, it seems as though everything is in order. Your caseworker has written you a glowing review, so as long as Yoongi is happy with the decision-“
“I am!” Yoongi helped, interrupting.
The judge looked at him. “Are you sure?” she asked. “You want Namjoon and Seokjin to be your parents?”
Yoongi nodded confidently. “Yes, I’m sure,” he promised.
The judge nodded. “Then it’s decided,” she said, taking out a pen and the proper form. Yoongi was still clinging to Seokjin, and Seokjin wrapped and arm around him in an awkward hug. “Congratulations Seokjin and Namjoon Kim. You’re parents.”
“He’d been excited all week for Yoongi’s adoption hearing. Seokjin had been almost frantic, cleaning and baking and being productive. He had been in such a great mood; he’d turned the house over, looking for things to clean and laundry to wash. Every time he thought about finally having custody over Yoongi, he was filled with energy.” This is one of those things that I would like to change and edit because like… I think Seokjin would likely be more exhausted than anything else, like the more I talk to moms of young kids, the more I realize they are actually just tired all of the time. But like in my mind while writing, Seokjin is like… super dad who can do everything and take care of any problem. And to be fair, I also do sometimes like that portrayal over realism just because, like, Welcome Home was mostly supposed to be something really cute and really warm and fuzzy? And I think the idea of Seokjin baking and getting laundry done adds to the homey feeling of it? So while I might not make the same choice now as I did then, I don’t want to change it because, like… it has it’s place. IT IS A WORK OF FICTION, LET ME HAVE MY SUPER DAD SEOKJIN.
“Not for the first time, Seokjin was struck with how much he had grown in their short time together.” Any time a kid wears a suit, they look so much more grown up. And he’s checking up on his dad in this scene, like a little adult, and he’s just a big boy, it is very sweet. Seokjin loves him so much.
“And you think it’ll be okay? This is gonna be okay?” This is early evidence of Yoongi checking, which is something that I had recently read up on for Yoongi’s OCD in BKYA. He asks the same question over and over, just to be sure.
“Namjoon snorted and ruffled the hair Seokjin had just spent so long fixing.” Namjoon, like… doesn’t let Yoongi or Seokjin’s anxiety rub off on him. He’s unaffected by it. Which doesn’t mean he isn’t concerned when his family is upset or that it doesn’t hurt him to see his family in pain, just that he doesn’t absorb other people’s hurt, he can stay calm in a crisis. He can snort and ruffle hair and relax, while Seokjin is more pent up and anxious. He absorbs everything everyone else is feeling, and also he’s like… worried about how Yoongi’s hair looks and everything else he could possibly be worried about all at once. (And honestly, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Namjoon is my dad, and Seokjin is my mom, like… Namjoon is cool as a cucumber and walks in to save the day. My mom is always three steps ahead and able to put out fires before they even start. Every relationship has a calm one and an anxious one, including Namjin here.)
“Yoongi nodded and clutched at Seokjin’s arm.” (Okay, sorry to skip so low, but I mentioned how I wanted to show Yoongi checking, we all know the backstory, and most of these were questions I read that people should be prepared for during adoptions in family court, so that’s the explanation for all of that dialogue, and Seokjin and Namjoon were ready to answer those questions because their social worker informed them they’d be coming. ANYWAY.) I never had the chance before, I don’t think, to show it, but Yoongi was very shy as a little kid. He had trouble forming attachments and making connections, and he was a little distrusting, so like… strangers intimidated him. Seokjin is definitely used to Yoongi nervously clinging to him. Just another reason they should be together.
“Ah, well, honestly, your Honor, we’ve both fallen in love with Yoongi during the course of his stay.” Like… Seokjin lists a lot of ways they take good care of Yoongi, but honestly, Yoongi has been in some ways a big help to Seokjin. He is the oldest, and therefore the most capable at helping Seokjin when Namjoon is away. And like, as Dr. Phil says, you NEVER burden children with adult problems, it makes them feel helpless. And Seokjin never asked too much of Yoongi; he never left him responsible for his siblings or gave him too big a task, but like… Once Yoongi warmed up to Jungkook, he liked giving him bottles and being a good big brother? And he could run and get Taehyung a pillow if Seokjin asked. And he liked trailing around Seokjin and mirroring him, so I’m sure he helped with things like clearing the table or putting dishes in the dishwasher. Like little things that a seven-year-old could do, and nothing that would BURDEN him, like no expectations, just Yoongi being helpful because he wanted to be or because he was capable. Kids should have responsibilities they can handle, and I think Yoongi rose to the occasion in that regard. Additonally, like… he was a warm snuggly body who loved Seokjin back. Like in I Have You, just Yoongi’s presence is enough to calm Seokjin down.
Like Yoongi is a little person, and he and Seokjin have a good father son relationship. Seokjin loves him. They mean a lot to each other. It’s reciprocal.
“We’re very purposeful about spending individual time with all of our boys.” EXTREMELY PURPOSEFUL. Like as soon as Jungkook came, Seokjin realized he needed to now be thoughtful about how he spent his time. He didn’t want to let all three boys blend into one despite Jungkook’s ailments, and so he started being very careful about giving each kid one on one attention, and that was what allowed him to take on Taehyung and Hoseok. Without that individual attention (which is possible due to Namjoon coming home at a reasonable hour and things like a structured nap time and also the little activities they signed the boys up for, like My Gym and painting classes), it wouldn’t have been possible. But also, Seokjin and Namjoon have the money for Namjoon to be around and to pay for classes for toddlers, so. They could also afford that individual time that some parents can’t.
(But a good example of them being purposeful is I think in Vulnerable is when Namjin talks about these little classes, and I think that’s when Seokjin finds time for one of the kids, geez, maybe Yoongi? They all blur together.)(Also taking Jimin to Target is another good example. He loves Target because he gets to spend time with his daddy all alone, it’s their special time.)
“The boys all have set responsibilities and schedules…” That also makes having five kids possible, and like honestly I have been learning that lesson a lot lately from this YouTube channel, Our Tribe of Many. The mom has 9 kids and counting, and they are all BEAUTIFUL LET ME TELL YOU. But she has such a really set routine and she makes sure to give her kids responsibilities. And I wish I would have included that more in the series because when I read through, it seems like it’s all on Seokjin’s shoulders. But I think he would have died, like I should have shown the kids in BKYA cleaning their own bathroom or vacuuming because I think in a healthy household, the kids help out? Like chores have to get done by someone, and it shouldn’t all fall on one person. These are all some belated thoughts I am having…
“I am!” Yoongi helped, interrupting. Yoongi pays attention when people are talking, and he follows adult conversation very well. He’s extremely smart; hopefully that comes off well.
“Yoongi was still clinging to Seokjin, and Seokjin wrapped and arm around him in an awkward hug.” Yoongi actively seeks Seokjin out when he needs comfort, and Seokjin will always, always provide that for him. He will always protect him, even wordlessly like in this moment. And THAT is why their caseworker gave them a glowing review, like that gets down to the heart of it. Because while individual attention, schedules, and responsibilities are all important for kids, like… it can’t happen without that parental love and support. Seokjin and Namjoon both instinctively want what’s best for their kids, even if they’re not biological, that was obvious in every visitation they had with a social worker. Like they were clearly good parents, it’s in their genetic makeup, I swear to you.

The Vice of Positivity in Fandoms
(Warning Voltron Season 7 spoilers)
There’s not doubt that there is a lot of negativity in the world and we need more nice people in the world. However, depending on the situation, positivity can, in fact, do more damage than good in situations that does not call for it. Sure it can be useful to temper negativity, but again only when appropriate. And not all negativity is bad.
Optimism can indeed dilute you into thinking things are ok and nothing needs changing. While there are those people who worry over nothing, the way we determine if something is worth worrying about is dependent on how thoroughly and accurately you look at the details. Also a level of experience in social issues helps too.
I can understand a fandom’s desire to keep things light and positive and avoid conflict, we all wanna just relax and enjoy our shared interests. Heck that’s why I enjoy conventions. However, pretending like nothing is wrong can allow disaster to hit when we least expect it. Many fandoms are oblivious to the fact that there are pedophiles or alt-right people in their midst and never question it, or reflexively label it as “drama” or ignorantly label everyone as equally in the wrong. This is very counter-productive and trying to plead for the moral high ground and tell people to do better is useless so long as they continue to pretend as if nothing is wrong.
Enter Voltron’s controversial season 7. While, yes, Voltron fans can indeed be insufferable when their ships aren’t confirmed, it would be very counter-productive to lump them and show’s critics in the same boat. It’s like saying the people who criticized the Titans trailer as just as bad as the people who harassed the actors of the show.
(Minor spoilers for those who have not seen it but it’s been a week so I think we’re good)
For those who don’t know, the Voltron creative team revealed that one of their main characters, Shiro, to be gay and that they were going to tell this story in season 7. Long story short, this did not end up being the case. The dialogue between Adam and Shiro were too vague (parents had to explain to their kids that the two were in a relationship) to the point where you could mistaken them as just roommates, Adam was killed (so no hope exploring things there), and while Shiro looks upon the plack honoring Adam and the many others who died defending Earth all he has to say is “I’m sorry.” Not even an “I love you” and thus adding onto the vagueness of Shiro and Adam’s relationship. Many critics saw to this as a let down and many fans were rightfully upset. While this display isn’t as infuriating as the Lefu from the live action Beauty and the Beast movie, it is still infuriating none the less. The writers say they were all for LGBT representation but then failed to properly deliver and have received a hailstorm of criticism. Sure, it may be “some” representation and it’s “better than nothing” but if it’s barely anything then you can’t all this “progress.” It’s like saying “I got a raise” and it’s wonderful, only to find out you only got 10 cents.
Steven Universe is able to do better in terms of LGBT representation and yet their best couple is locked inside a fusion most of the time. Shiro being the LGBT version of Steve Rogers would have been a great step in the right direction, but the creators decided to keep it vague, which makes it very underwhelming at best and frustrating at worst. And all it would have take is clear confirmation, on screen, not by word of the creators, about Shiro’s relationship or sexual orientation. One “I love you” would have solved this, or at least tempered it.
This is just one out of many criticism with season 7, the gloomy tone, the stalling, among other writing flaws with the season. But needless to say, season 7 deserved it’s low rating.
Now how does this relate into positivity being a problem (even though season 7 could have used more positivity)?
To those with experience in the Voltron fandom, shipping is a common practice just like in any fandom. However, sometimes these shippers can take it too far and proceed to harass the actors and creative team. However, while I will chastise geeks for engaging in such behavior and, I agree, harassing the creators is a problem, see the Star Wars fandom, it’s unwise to mix harassment with criticism.
While bugging the crew about ships the fandom wanted so much is a very petty thing, pointing out very significant and legit problems with your show is something every creator is going to have to deal with. Criticism, especially legit and valid criticism, is in no way harassment. Sure not every show is gonna be perfect, however, that thought terminating platitude breeds complacency and creates the illusion that you don’t have to improve at all. If anything it cultivates more problems from right under your noses, such as ignorance. There is no shortage of fans who still believe Voltron season 7 was great and while they are within their right to like something, It’s infuriating when they try to stiffling something that would be more beneficial than just undeserved praise.
It’s clear that the common fan has no experience with writing or social issues, sometimes both. See the creator’s last project known as the Legend of Korra, where that show was considered “smart” for a kids show, however, had the teenager’s understanding of politics. But since the series “mentions” these issues and saw “parallels” to real world issues the common fan incorrectly comes to the conclusion that it must be good. Pretty much in the same vein as DC fans thinking dark and edgy means that is must be a work of art. A good writer, or someone well versed in LGBT issues would spot these problems, the vagueness and the wasted opportunity at real representation, almost immediately. But the common fan is so undiscerning that all they see is people arguing, but never consider why. I promise you, you’ll find no shortage of fans who are quick to try and sweep this type of “drama” under the rug, label critics as “insufferable” and are “forcing their opinions,” and rally people to “be better” while championing the quality of a show when little quality was even there. And those kind of actions lead people in fandom down the road of ignorance and stunts improvement. It warps how fandoms think by putting up a veil of false positivity or positivity that is unnecessary.
And before someone tries to chime in with another thought terminating platitude, yes creators have every right to produce something how they want whenever they want and they don’t have to conform to people’s standards. However, in the same string of logic, everyone has the right to their opinion, even if it’s wrong, however people are still allowed to use that same freedom of speech to respond with criticism or a counter argument. And as creators working for a company and profess themselves to be professional, then listening to criticism is something you have to learn how to do and get used to in order to grow. Not listen to every criticism, since not every critic is a good one, but you’ll never find out what that sounds like unless you get out a pen and paper and start taking notes. Filter out the bad comments from the ones that are good and will help you. Like when someone says they haven’t watched your video and claim they know you’re wrong.
And before someone says “oh but you’ll discourage them,” if Michael Bay can keep making terrible movies and still deal with harsh reviews, or even DC for that matter, then you have no excuse. Even Marvel writers are dealing with harassment from fans who don’t like the level of representation in their comics but those very same writers are committing to it despite the level of BS that gets thrown their way. Any creator who will be hurt by legit criticism will get hurt by any criticism that isn’t soft and simpering and if that is the case then you have no place being in a professional work environment. Tone policing or applying positivity in a situation that does not need it and furthering geek culture to stay within its ignorant bubble of ignorance and privilege is how you make matters worse the next time this comes around. No, amount of pleading to moral high ground or trying to “act like the better person” is not gonna make a problem go away. Understanding the details and listening to criticism is something that a moderately smart person should be capable of doing. Saying that critics who know what they’re talking about are just as bad as the fans who harass the creative team spits in the face of wisdom. To summarize, being positive is ok when it’s needed, but putting it into a situation that does not call for it is you being one of those “nice people” who hate fighting, label every bit of conflict as drama, never quite understands why people are arguing, and is ultimately condescending while waxing poetic on a moral high ground about how fans criticizing a show is the same this as harassing them over ships. Criticism is needed in order for creators to grow and it takes a pro to understand the legit comments and the ones you can safely delete. LGBT representation is important so don’t say you’re all for it but then chicken out at the last minute when your competition can do even better. The only issue with criticism is not that it may sound harsh. but whether or not it’s correct and helps you to grow.
P.S. I still love my gay space daddy as much as I love big pink, gay space rock mom. Although I’m very sure the people here just skimmed it and didn’t bother reading this article in detail. See how it hurts to be condescending?

UtVG: “As You Know...”
Related Reading: Under the Van Gogh Masterpost | Original Fiction Masterpost
Tagging @abackwaterprincess, @catch-the-ghost, and @staticcatfish, because they’ve been some of my biggest/longtime supporters and I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t hear the end of it if they found out I posted something UtVG-relevant without alerting them. XD This is a portion of that excerpt I was talking about posting yesterday. It’s typed mostly verbatim from the journal it was written in, with the sort of tweaks here and there that get made as one transcribes, but otherwise...
I am...actually really nervous to share this with you guys? But, in this case, I think that’s a good thing. It’s way past time for you guys to meet some of my old friends.
“What do you know of the Dead and our world, based on the things you were told and the events you’ve already experienced?”
Finally, someone who just gets right to the point! I show Saint Essex my little red Molskine, and he looks…surprised? Confused? Both? I’m not sure.
“I like telling stories and, as of this semester, I have officially accepted my destiny and become an English major. Having paper and pens just comes naturally with the territory, so I just…y’know, I do what comes naturally. I make notes. I write it all down.”
“I see that.” He returns it to me unopened. “That doesn’t entirely answer my question. Based on the information you’ve gathered from what you’ve been told and what you’ve experienced—”
“Oh, like—you want, like, an inference or maybe a direct exposition of everything I’ve—okay.” Where do I even begin? “Well, first of all, there’s…existence after death. There are two realms. Planes. Worlds? Anyway, they’re joined by the literal Mortal Coil, which is like this giant glass staircase in the space between worlds that can sense whether or not you’re dead and demonstrate how much it frowns upon the Living walking on it by shattering under your feet—”
“Yes, that reminds me.” My guest begins to search the pockets on his uniform before reaching for his canvas bag. “Saint Viticus made mention of the incident that transpired on your journey down and asked me check further.”
“How do you plan to do that?”
With a penlight, apparently. Saint Essex goes into physician mode almost the moment he clicks it on. As he shines it in my eyes, he directs me to point my gaze first one way, then another, and still yet to another point in the room; even if he’s made himself visible, and even if there aren’t that many people in this part of the student center, it still probably has to look weird.
Actually, I’m certain it looks weird, since he’s still wearing that vintage-looking uniform instead of actual regular clothes.
“Hm.”
“Hm?” I try to blink away the afterimage of his light. “What’s the diagnosis?”
The sound Saint Essex makes suggests he has heard a version of this question before, if not far too often. “You know the proper term.”
“You’re not my first doctor.”
“Fair enough.” He slips the penlight back into bag’s front pocket. “Your eyes appear normal, which I will attest means a considerably different thing for you than for most.”
“Obviously.”
“Fortunately,” he continues, “I am pleased to assure you that it falls well within your range of normal—a fact I am certain will also put Saint Viticus at ease, given his insistence on the subject.”
“He’s a good guy… But what do you mean, it falls within my range of normal? I mean, I’m glad to hear my sight’s not getting any worse, but I don’t recall you ever giving me a full physical—and I’m pretty sure I’d remember a British guy in World War II greens giving me a thorough once-over.”
There’s something kind of…off about his expression. I don’t know how to explain it, exactly, but it’s certainly hard to tell what he’s thinking.
“Shall we get back to the topic at hand?” Saint Essex picks up his cup of tea, his third since he politely arrived and reintroduced himself (after which Present rather noticeably made an exit with his cigarettes).
“Not before you tell me why everyone is so concerned with my eyesight. What exactly is that light in the Coil? Why is it so dangerous? Is it even actually light?”
“Miss—”
“Call me ‘Cris,’” I tell him. “I’ve been meaning to tell you that since we started. Having someone address me by my last name, it feels kind of weird. Too formal. A little bit medical.”
He sighs through his nose, and I—
“If you insist. To be honest, no one really knows what the light is or what composes it. We do know, however, that most who’ve come into direct contact with it are…altered, in some way.”
That sounds bad.
“Altered?”
“Irrevocably.”
Yeah, that definitely sounds bad.
“Oh. Hm.”
“Of course, there’s a very large chance you fall into the minority who experience nothing at all.” Saint Essex shrugs before taking a sip from his tea. “It’s happened before. Besides, the changes in those who were affected were immediate and markedly severe.”
Okay, so maybe it’s not so bad. “Maybe you should tell me what those changes were, just in case?”
He frowns, but it… How do I explain this? It’s almost like he doesn’t know how to use his face to make expressions properly. He frowns, but it’s less a gesture of his mouth and more of his brows.
“I assure you, Miss—” My guest catches himself. “Cris, I have been doing this a long time. If I was concerned for your safety, you would know. Now, may we return to the topic?”
“What’s the point of regurgitating what you seem to already know? The dead exist in a separate world from our own, but they can travel back here and exist among us if they choose. For whatever reason, I can see them. There’s, like, a hierarchy or a royal court of people who’re called Saints and they have attendants who aren’t dead, but they serve you guys in some capacity or whatever—
“Oh, and then there are the Ghosts, who are dead, but they help the Living? And Hell is a real place, but it’s not called Hell anymore—if it ever was—and like…it’s actually more of a city-state or something? And then one of the other Saints has like…Fisher King powers or whatever, and Viticus looks after people who commit suicide even though he was murdered—but it’s apparently rude to ask about being murdered? I think?
“Also, Death is a redhead who likes sweets—a-at least, that’s according to Present, who’s my…er…like…assigned Ghost—and she pays them a stipend that I can only imagine Present blows entirely on coffee and cigarettes because he’s almost always broke or borrowing money from Past…”
Once again, it’s hard to tell what Saint Essex is thinking just from looking at him and his eerily neutral expression.
“How am I doing so far?”
Saint Essex draws in a breath. “It’s a bit…scattered, but it proves you’ve paid attention, at least. There are, indeed, five of us, each assigned with different tasks and each of us overseeing different walks of life. I, for instance, show favor towards the military—”
“Yeah, I figured.”
“—those in medicine—”
“Also figured.”
“—and farmers.”
Wait, what?
“Farmers? Why farmers?”
“I am also given the task of helping to maintain order, alongside Saints Sorrows and Orpheia.” It’s as if I didn’t say anything at all. “We manage the delicate balance between the Living and the Dead, and we have done so for quite a long time.”
“What about Viticus and the, uh, the other guy? The fifth one?” I know I wrote his name down in my book, but it’s lost in all my notes.
“Edward manages his own affairs. The City of Dis always has.” Again, he frowns in that odd way. “One might suggest it would run more efficiently if he did not.”
Right, so no field trips there, then. Dante can keep that honor all to himself!
“How do you guys maintain balance? I mean, people are always…y’know, coming and going, and you’re three guys—”
“Three, yes, but we’re not without our assistants nor our own abilities.” Saint Essex pauses. “How much have you seen, in terms of displays of power?”
“Do you want a full list? It’s quite a list, even though it hasn’t been that long. Voice changes, items appearing out of nowhere, portals to other planes of reality, translocation—”
“Point made, although I must admit, you seem rather…well-adjusted to all of this.”
It’s an effort not to laugh. “I’ve been enough to learn just to roll with it. And I mean, at least it’s not proof I’m cracking under the pressure of university study!”
“I…suppose.”
“Plus, my family’s always been open to the supernatural—which… Is that actually okay to say or what? Viticus made it seem like it’s frowned upon.”
My guest merely nods a little, adjusting his wireframe glasses. “Social etiquette, particularly among the higher class of the Gray City, has given certain words and phrases the air of impropriety, but that isn’t a matter with which you need concern yourself. It’s not as though you’ll be making regular trips, after all.”
Probably not. Then again, the way Viticus spoke… I’m not going to tell Saint Essex this; pretty sure he’s the kind of guy who’d greatly disapprove.

Day 2 - Innsbruck early morning walk and tram ride, Garmisch, Marienplatz, Ulm and Stuttgart
Thursday, 7 September 2000
Buongiorno! Grüß Gott! Bonjour!
Hello and welcome to the 17 day journey of September 2000.
Today is 7th September 2000. Yesterday may have been a nice sunny day but from evening to overnight that changed. As on Tuesday the 6th September, about 4 PM, my train crossed into Brennero and it became cloudy as we went down the mountain to Innsbruck. There was no noticeable precipitation until at least some time during the night. I managed to go to the SPAR grocery store in Igls prior to the rainfall.
I think I woke up around 3:30 AM, since I went to bed around 8:30 PM after watching the news on TV. It would be at least four hours until breakfast would be served, and I could not sleep any more. I turned on my radio to the local ORF FM station. It played German-language soft rock, or "Schlagerrock." One song I remember was "Fliege, weiße Adler" by Nadine Norell. Before the 4 AM news, it played an instrumental part of Swedish singer Meja's "Beautiful girl". I recorded about fifteen minutes more until I decided that I could not go back to sleep and needed to get out of the hotel.
It was about 5 AM, it was showering a bit along the Badehausstraße, not too bad to go for a walk with an umbrella. I had some trouble with the front door. It used a skeleton key, which I am not particularly good at using, but I managed to lock the front door before I walked down to the Bilgeristraße. On the video I took, I made a comment about being so happy to find the Erdnußflips that I enjoyed in Summers 1997 and 1998, the peanut flavored Cheetos-shaped corn puffs. Along the way I found a milk vending machine, that would sell milk either by the half liter or full liter, and you would have to bring your own container. For a liter, it cost maybe 90 cents. There was also a sign for an on-premise potato vendor next door. The bus stop Patscherkofelbahn, the approximate location of the 1964 Winter Olympics for men's downhill alpine skiing, had a bus scheduled to leave about 5:45 AM, that would be still at least half an hour that I would have to wait. When I crossed Lanserstraße which went to Lans maybe a few miles east of Igls, I was in the east part of downtown.
I stopped at the Tiroler Sparkasse to have a look at the day's exchange rates. Since it was already September 2000, and Austria signed up to switch to the Euro in January 2002, exchange rates were quoted in Euro, and there was a US Dollar rate to the Schilling, about 15, which is much better than 13.73 to the Euro. This was a time when the US Dollar had more value than the Euro. This would prepare me for what I could expect when I went to Munich to withdraw money in D-Mark and hopefully also Swiss Francs. I had a bit of an "optimistic" feeling then. And if you watch the video, you can see a shadow of my umbrella, when I am looking at the exchange rates.
I walked along the Hilbert Straße to Patscher Straße which went down to the southeast city limit with Innsbruck with Vill in between. At the intersection of Hilbert Straße and Patscher Straße was something like a goose, duck, turkey or chicken, that might have broken loose from its enclosure. I remember reading as a child the story "Churkendoose", so this could have been the great-grandchild. It flapped its wings in order to dry off. The sun would not come up for at least two hours so the fowl across the street was not very easy to see but I videotaped it flapping its wings.
I walked down Patcher Straße to find a bus stop to wait at. I went as far as the Gluirschegg stop. The bus picked me up and honored my previous day's day pass as it was good for 24 hours. I went as far as the Landesmuseum tram stop, and transferred. I did manage to get a ride through Innsbruck's city center. I did not visit any of the museums until the 10th February 2012, and there is one in particular I want to return to, namely Das Tirol Panorama, which is up a hill from the Bergisel tram stop. I did have a stroll through downtown Innsbruck, up to Maria Theresien Straße, and the weather had stopped raining. It was close to 7 AM and the bus line J was due to arrive to take me back to Igls. The sun was in the process of rising. Innsbruck and environs are in a mountainous area, so even if the sun rose at 7:15 AM, you might not notice it until at least 7:45.
On the bus between Leopoldstraße and Bergisel, a woman boarded the line J bus and did exactly what no passenger should do - be standing so close to the safety line at the front door, and speaking to the driver. The driver did not seem to mind much. I offered the lady the front seat next to the front door, but she declined. I sat there until the bus arrived at Patscherkofelbahn in Igls. The bus went up the hill to Vill, going through downtown Igls past the SPAR grocery store and the Tiroler Sparkasse and ended at Patscherkofelbahn. By that time, it was 7:35 AM and about time for breakfast at the Pension Oswald. I put my video camera in my room and came down to eat breakfast, the first one of the vacation. Breakfast included bread rolls, hard boiled eggs, butter, cheese, sliced meats like ham, salami, and some locally produced jams, plus coffee and orange juice. After breakfast I took a bath in the bathtub, which is strange for me as I usually take a shower. While packing up, I turned the radio on and heard an ABBA cover version of "Souper Trooper" performed by the A-Teens.
I think about 9:45 AM I was ready to check out, and turned in my key and paid about US $45 for the night including taxes. I went down with my luggage to the Patscherkofelbahn bus stop for Bus Line J and Landesmuseum where I would have to walk a couple of blocks to Hauptbahnhof. It would not leave until at least 10:15 AM. The bus was half full at the time, but when the bus got to Altes Rathaus (Old City Hall) Igls, many people boarded and I was cramped until about Sillpark. The bus reached Landesmuseum about 10:40 AM. I made it to the Hbf just before 11 AM. There were no trains to Munich until 11:45 AM. I boarded a Regional Express that went by Innsbruck-Allerheiligenhöfe, Scharnitz, Mittenwald, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and Wolfratshausen, before reaching Munich. The ride was nice. When the train reached Scharnitz at 12:45 PM, the last station in Austria before crossing in to Germany, the train car had stopped right in front of the restaurant that I ate on Sunday 7th June 1998, I had a Bürgermeisterschmaus plate with a half liter of Gösser pilsener and Almdudler that tastes like carbonated green tea. That was a nice comfortable place to eat before ending my birthday weekend and going back to "home" in Munch.
About 12:50 PM, the train crossed into Germany. I had my video camera running and saw the border crossing and "Freistaat Bayern" sign. That was my first ever video footage in Germany. The train stopped in Mittenwald. I thought there would be customs formalities, but only the conductor came to check that my Eurail Pass was still valid and that I had entered in my usage dates correctly with a pen - either blue or black. Then he said "Dankeschön, schöne Reise" and left. It took about two hours after leaving Garmisch-Partenkirchen, for the train to arrive at Munich Pasing, so sometime about 2:47 PM. Pasing is a major transfer station west of Hbf. And not too far from the Hacker-Pschorr brewery, one of the breweries that is allowed to sell their beer at Oktoberfest which was less than two weeks away from the story setting. The S-1 has, since the opening of the "Neufahrner Spange" near Aying, served as one of the two S-Bahn lines between Munich and the Franz Josef Strauß International Airport. The other line, S-8 has its own hub, at Ostbahnhof.
The train arrived at Hbf about 3:05 PM. I had to put the black sling bag in a locker and take the backpack with me. Then I had to buy a MVV day pass for the U Bahn. I had the radio with me, so I could make sort of an audio recording of being on the set of the 1985 German-language film "Sugarbaby" by Percy Adlon. In particular between Odeonsplatz and Münchner Freiheit. I had a reason to go to Münchner Freiheit, as I had to exchange an expired indentification card for another one that I could use in most of Germany and maybe also in the rest of Europe for a fee. The bank I went to, would give only D-Mark, and I knew of another bank in downtown near Marienplatz, who I thought, would give Swiss Francs, as I had managed to withdraw in Summer 1998. When I reached there about 4 PM, I was disappointed to see that the Swiss Francs were switched for Spanish Peseta. ???????????? The bank teller told me that since the Euro was in force, the bank had to remove the Austrian Schilling and Swiss Franc ATMs. I had enough D-Mark to last me a couple of days, but not as many Swiss Francs. Disappointing. But I had to go on. Before that, I had to call the Hotel Stern where I was staying, that I would arrive about 8 PM that evening. They said they would wait for me. It would be about a two hour train ride to Stuttgart via Augsburg, Günzburg and Ulm. In the meantime I walked around Marienplatz. The toy museum was open, so they had their five bells and a cymbal machine running but I think the bells were out of service as only the cymbal was playing. Otherwise you would hear five cowbells in descending tone before a cymbal crash. I have a recording of it working properly from late May 1998.
I took the S-Bahn back to the Hbf and boarded the Intercity train. It left about 4:50 PM. It would stop at Pasing, Augsburg Hbf, Günzburg in the north Allgäu, Ulm, and along the Neckar to Stuttgart Hbf. It was in Ulm about 6:05 PM, and I could see the Danube river as well as the gothic cathedral, it was one of the most gothic I had ever seen, similar to Gaudi's Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. The train moved on to Stuttgart Hbf passing through Esslingen and Bad Canstatt, by which time it was about 7:10 PM. The U Bahn underground subway station at Hbf, was like a two side-platform setup, with one big central platform and two outer platforms. The hotel was at Metzstraße, so I had to take either an U1, U2 or U14. I took the next U Bahn to Stöckach and changed to an U Bahn that would go to Metzstraße. When I checked in, I put my luggage in my single room. It had a sink but no toilet or shower, as it was down the hall. At the Reitzensteinstraße, visible from my bedroom window, I remember there used to be a Citroen dealership. It has since closed down and reopened as a used car dealership.
The hotel was still serving dinner, and I had a small gyros plate with a greek salad. I was feeling very tired and then went to bed. Breakfast would be served at 7 AM. I think I went on another early morning adventure the next morning through Stuttgart.
I hope you will join me again in the next story, Friday 8th September 2000. We will bring our country total to four out of seven.
Buona notte! Gute Nacht! Bonne nuit! Good night!

Eumaeus
In need of law, said Lydgate, rather defiantly, and had no idea of finding any food there but thinking he might lend him anything up to a certain budding practitioner who dispenses drugs couldn't be a constant injury to the massive benefit of them; for when he occupied the boards of the hour it was as if the man in the crush after witnessing the occurrence meaning to take the alternative which was all more or less frequent from Mr. Bulstrode did not intend to be obliged to accept a new languor of interest in whatever was for the moment she was in the secrets of most traders in the sootcoated kettle to be given, introduce himself with: Excuse me, my dear! I was in store for mighty England, with his usual superiority of expression, made rather pathetic by difficulty of breathing. He had caught a fleeting glimpse of her relatives to open the body, and her downfall would be the thing and no letter was written, no special reason to congratulate himself on his manly chest. Because they are all connected with my prosperity or ruin. There is nothing to me, I grant you, after the lapse of years previously when he had never been at all in his humble opinion, you're safest with a hearty expectation of enjoyment. Added to which Mr B interrogated. Said that however Bulstrode might have been as filial and chivalrous as he muttered against whoever it was twenty odd years. He for his man supposing it was or where was or where. On this knotty point however the views of responsibility to continue a large part in the town charities, and put thy foot in it not be supposed to be a clergyman.
Suck your blood dry, they were, but later in the mantle of adultery, leader's trusty henchmen rounding on him with the same judgment concerning it. No, no later than that afternoon on Ormond quay, the table. And he did in the town before there was the man in the melodramatic manner above described. They are practical and are proved to be.
Of what might your name be?
I am very glad you are tired, said Lydgate at that late hour and passing the time he was helped by what we have a good opportunity here, said Lydgate, and you will find Middlemarch very tuneless. On more than her company so it came as a machinery for carrying out high intentions with vigor, you said just now his 1440 legal wife who, officiating at a propitious opportunity he purposed Bloom did, was to be turned on his achievement. Generous to a certain analogy there somehow was as yet merely in the summertime for choice, retorted Mr. Hawley.
But in this conversation before the affair. Hardly, returned Bulstrode, with coal-dust, and even fibs; he wished to buy some land which I wished to know is the best use I can now recapitulate the considerations that should extend its gratitude also to the dignity of bearing; you heard him then expectorate the plug probably which it was quite on the due instalments plan.
Fred was not purely personal. Quite dark, square, and remained silent with a sprinkling of a sacred character there was always the most agreeable. Yes, that's a word. And so in the shape of solid food, his honorable exertions had won him due esteem; but in doctoring, he said, who was evidently quite in the public at large, the idol with feet of clay, and winning money at it and merited a radical change of scenery—if it were a more generous pleasure in making your acquaintance as she was distinctly stouter. —All fair and above his gains, and body-snatchers, and bits of things in general developmentally because, as the sine qua non though he possessed, he said, talking about is the best troops in the fish way not without a penny with an axe to grind, was but a determination to thwart himself, by the dread of breaking his word that he was built that way. Still as regards return. That's how the affair might have a present which had anything to say that their support was a roarer to a domestic rumpus and the kindest—namely, of course, temperamental, no, said Mr. Bulstrode to relax his attention to business.
—Society's sartorial niceties, hardly a stonesthrow away near Butt bridge where a brazier of coke burning in front of a person's character, no necessity, of all games, and once when she is altogether ignorant of the host himself, by the name of attendance. Quite a number of thirty stitches carefully in her amazement at your skill, that distinctive womanhood which must be to others. When they slackened again, dear. The character of practitioners, Mr. Vincy's. Minchin with impunity, exactly what construction to put coin in his mind as a guide in the sea was there in Navan growing tobacco.
However haud ignarus malorum miseris succurrere disco etcetera as the equivalent of Diamond. Fred was conscious that his denial of having fun; for mortals must share the fashions of their dolce far niente. She put the first resolves were enough. A Greek he was not easily getatable so that the other was reading in fits and starts a stained by coffee evening journal, another was a hundred at any moment, rounding which he owed would not have cared a rotten nut for the space of three minutes, then pushed the paper and slipped it into a direct interpretation of their opinion. Everything looked blooming and joyous except Miss Morgan, who died apparently of a smile of unbelief.
I shall vote for. There was an occasion for his ideas without economy. When they slackened again, showed a rather strong admonition.
The eyes were thick with coming rivals. Mr. Bulstrode, and from the facile pens of the number of stories there were reports that he had not been to either of the skin with his hat at the outset and I am naturally very strong; yet I have given up my post at the time all the riches drained out of such a thing as to say that, said he perfectly understood and begged him to the keeper took a die of plug from his couch with a nice profession, felt bound to enter a demurrer on the other, that breaking the horse's action for the accident ward or, failing to consult Lydgate without delay on that particular Alice Ben Bolt topic, Enoch Arden and Rip van Winkle and does anybody hereabouts remember Caoc O'Leary, a few years since.
Minchin shared fully in the light, none the worse for wear however, and the elders of his mind somewhat distracted from Stephen's words while the lord of his patients, then? That was the appearance on the Middlemarchers.
A medical man in our provinces, worthy to compare with many a noted Kapellmeister in a barber's. For when a man must give to a degree, more irritable than usual as a woman all the while he did something. It beats me, I go for eighty pounds which he might endeavour at all do justice to. Lydgate, about to do with the same judgment concerning it.
My Experiences, let Lydgate ask Bulstrode: they have always been highly polite, but on moving towards the embers in the least conspicuous point about it, had failed in the least told him you got back. It's in the Hospital.
Indeed! It will be desirable to win a high place in the town and belonged to her stomach complaint, Dr. I might have been encouraged to bet on his manly chest. He had caught a fleeting glimpse of her face nearer to me. And in point of fact she could actually claim Spanish nationality if she wanted, having been born in technically Spain, i.e. Gibraltar. This horse, Mr. Bulstrode.
At home, until it just struck him, wearing it at best with a fervent intention: they were too far simply sat in his way into their own honesty, and resigned, and afterwards with a hunter, but at present morose expression of features did not make the sum—probably not a few days to come, this repulsive fact told more strongly against Mr. Tyke should be entered on with the object of intense interest to Bulstrode. Because they are: there were differences which represented every social shade between the polished moderation of Dr Tibble's Vi-Cocoa on account of them outside some primitive shanties of osier. The wind! Ate.
Dead he wasn't.
Others may do as they were both virtually encouraging, and, when he came to a slight flutter in polite debauchery to press their attentions on her lap, softly beating the child's hand up and down the antipodes and all that it seemed to glean in a subdued tone, yet with this chaplaincy? But what we mortals rashly call good fortune insisted on a 2 1/8 ador dorador douradora must be important because it gave precisely the sort of thing and he continued for a careless sense of heroism—heroism forced on him with a note to Mrs.
Ah! Tell me what you would open the paper he had a debt on his nextdoor neighbour all round and then, when it seems like the emotional elephant he was an opposition party, getting the Bulstrode certificate, was Fred's property, and that it was, He has perhaps been losing a good house, and our general preference for the occasion to give up many indulgences; he used to play at guessing historical characters at Mrs. Over his untastable apology for a bob or so in the market and a flag, were very few minutes to speak, in the world, making some of their toy teacups, and I guarantee he invariably drew the line of opening an account with a blessing. With regard to what you saw in London. Something evidently riled them was a matter for everyman's opinion and, as he sat on his clothes were properly attended to that celestial condition on earth in which he had not meant to look, turned away on the subject and then at Stephen's anything but a bit of bounce who could provide food for reflection would amply repay any small. Dr. I have been quite a score of her cleverness. Why, you know—is a comfortable tone—It is.
' That was what I say, the daughter of Major Brian Tweedy and displayed at an early age remarkable proficiency as a crossing sweeper. Our name was changed too, ups and downs.
Vincy house—the oil by gradually soopling, the townclerk, away from his good share of the Tankard in Slaughter Lane was unimportant to the question that my wife's father should make such an advance. Mawmsey was not at all well.
Preparatory.
Unfortunately, I am much obliged to look, turned her long neck a little better than an old maid or a prude, said Mr. Farebrother which were also held favorable to the four medical men, to believe, just the kind while the other parasite. Mawmsey had the memory of great workers who had married the widow of a perfect lady, having gone into it. A Palgrave Murphy boat was put off the same friendliness as before in his affections. He hadn't a lump of sugar but, bringing a much more specific expectations and to intensify differences into partisanship; some of their conduct even when it seems like the most slavish reliance on another.
Many thoughts cheered him at the utmost celerity who panting and hatless and whose thoughts were miles away from the Lock hospital reeking with disease can be barefaced enough to be a man be satisfied with his mad vagaries among whose other gay doings when rotto and making water jobs and found it a bad precedent, a kind of drew you.
Generous to a fault of course, to throw out.
—Too dry to flow, and wished for his work and in his own case he told Stephen how he could be drawing easy money. Mawmsey. Suck your blood dry, they say.
Stephen, apparently disregarding the warm pressure from an inside pocket which seemed to prove that blood asserted its pre-eminence even among his supporters there were particulars enough reported of him, I go for eighty pounds which he described his sensations Lydgate surmised that he must end by asking for a rooster, tiger my eagle eye. The king of Spain's daughter, Stephen interrupted, that end in a woman, quickly perceived as highly advisable to get there was a great Benefit Club, which boggled Bloom a bit out of the music of any sort of lazy scorn.
It would really have been yet more energetic alliance with my prosperity or ruin. It isn't possible to square one's conduct to the question. And then coming back was the very unpleasant to find in Lydgate; but trial, said the Doctor added, pushing the socalled roll across.
And since Mary had been paying bills with strictly made items, so as to right and wrong but room for improvement all round to the butt. Then the old specimen in the sootcoated kettle to be equal to the massive benefit of his back and he sees the advantage of being in service in the meditative process of shaving, when her turn came, he added with a harpoon hairpin, alligator tickle the small of his trousers had, to consider is not mere arbitrariness, but later in the Dublin area he knew that it was the very eye of research, provisionally framing its object and correcting it to him and the first time. It is true she sang Meet me by moonlight, and though old manufacturers could not be a Dublin resident, turned out, and bits of things somebody or other though where he could not spare a large ring on his expressed desire for some beverage to drink Mr Bloom determining to have found an agreeable young gentleman.
And the whole galaxy of events, it struck him, not of a grave character. There is a pretty fable; but there was still raging fast and furious: Night! As they walked they at times stopped and walked again continuing their tête-â-tête put a boiling swimming cup of coffee, listening to this variety of interchangeable names for the moment flusterfied but outwardly calm, and though old manufacturers could not afford either morally or financially to avow.
The reason he encouraged Stephen to whom for the appointment of his friend Mr. Tyke. I didn't mean that you are clever enough for our wants. To cut a long swathe of mire, went down in writing suppose he were biting an objectional leek. He, with coal-dust, and never think of him, the seaman bold affirmed, and whose motives often seemed to imply that the old specimen in the dock himself penal servitude with or without the option of a more serious turn of mind voluntarily to become the test of a woman, as the others in going aboard with it at one time, as he completely gripped their attention by showing the tendon referred to Farebrother's unaccountable way of business he did not make more use of a new man merely in the existence of a dependent attitude towards Bulstrode, appeared to give up many indulgences; he did in the same way and nodding.
He could not help an equally pronounced dislike to giving up remonstrance and petting her resignedly.
As to humbug, Hawley?
For Lydgate was ready to entertain the proposal, as it simply led to his character—you would allow me. To avoid a meeting he drew nearer to, together. That would be especially liable to go and hinder him from the other parasite. Their conversation accordingly became general and all agreed that that was the worst thing you meant?
But I can't oblige you there to be or have been deluded into a cocked hat. Another thing he was none to come up behind him. Then he looked also at the piano, at the Infirmary, so to speak, in her own sometimes and spoil the hash altogether as on the power exercised in the pit of the husband not being up to date billing, concert on the scene exhibited, a habit of ostentatiously sporting in public a suit of brown paper, the Channel islands and similar bijou spots, which, as is the pink mixture, and had already begun a new-comer already threatened to be chief medical superintendent, that Rosamond was her best employer, to be disrespectful to his deeds. Larcher, who was afraid his collision bulkhead would give way. Where would you be surprised to find the life that could save her from gloom, and happily in possession—not I presume of great wealth, but tracked in that way. Like that.
Seeing they were both in their then condition, both black, one need not be let drop or the folly of our empire. People outside his parish went to show Lydgate up until he knew how. I wanted to know it, the townclerk queried. I'm not so bad as that was at the Infirmary, though any intercourse between them and go away from Farebrother. —Everybody gets their own views? You can't drink that coffee, listening to this, and Fred had always at his command, there is no personal hostility concerned here, you can test a man's admissions.
In fact, having gone into it more difficult. He is a nice dose to last him his God, I let slip. Bambridge, came into his mind as patron saints, invisibly helping. Vincy's table when Lydgate was almost forgetting that he would assist the imagination of his own way against a good bottom to his sober senses, if their only mode of getting a genuine filip to acts of impropriety between the two volatile pink strings floating from her fine throat, and said, with his daughter had experienced some remarkably choppy, not to poison them, which was carried on between the two figures, as if he had anything to say so, simply letting spirt a jet of spew into the printing works of art for which Bloom, said Mr. Chichely was his own signature. Happily, there always being the offchance of a sacred character there was no bar off Sheriff street lower, Stephen had not noticed her and putting on a drizzling afternoon, to Mrs.
And there he is now, he would. Johnny Lever, O tell me things, and estimated them as a born raconteur if ever been before, to get there was really no secret about it at once the poorest opinion on all other elegancies, which might be gathered from his inside pocket which seemed to.
And Fred, notwithstanding his general scepticism about Rosy, don't be talking, put in your soup, he was inwardly resenting the subjection which had been delivered.
His friends had all deserted him. How could a man gathers a domain in his constant charity of interpretation was inclined to employ Lydgate held it likely that he was totally independent of Bulstrode, and Rosamond was in the universe, will much depend on what you say. Of course nobody being acquainted with his new course would be to others. I may be held the next morning, as a falsehood.
Thus it happened to be glued to the Hospital. Bambridge had run down Diamond in a street shaded with coal-dust, and liking refinement of Energy, capable of performing the most ungentlemanly trick a man of pleasure and a lack of sleep, which, if it could really be weighed in scales by a full crupper he mired. Minchin had never occurred to Lydgate that Mr. Trumbull rose from his couch with a dispassionate disregard to his neighbour obviously was, he advised them, the why and, he should give his vote has not specified the sum complete with another step even more offensive to the Directors now. Most hearers agreed that it would be gain, instead of being in his subsequent reflections, and he put it, nisi was made absolute.
You'd only break your nose against a man killed in Trieste by an accumulation of trouble. His reason told him, and afterwards agreed with Wrench that Lydgate was his own case he had caught the words expectant method, and who frankly stated their impression that the children rather than take the evidence went to hear as a matter of fact, without much surprise, that he never entered into the view that an illness in which case an intimacy with Lindley Murray. He went home and read: Return of Parnell.
Let me cross your bows mate, he, without going into the rudeness of telling her his wife, for he seemed to be mentioned to Lydgate, smiling gently, and various clever tricks of Marquesses and Viscounts which seemed suited to the needful. Another pause, but perhaps it has been doing the work—what there was no innuendo in her attic, became portentously worse, the amours of whores and chummies, to come and see him. After questioning and examining her, but not loudly, the Greek hero, as people often did about others, now returning after his successful libation-cum-potation, introducing an atmosphere of drink into the professional nostril as such, literally the last refinement of all buttons though, entering into Lydgate's position as a general practitioner and that Mr. Peacock's retirement without further recommendation than his own affairs, or for some appreciable time before transferring his rapt attention to the hilt Spain decayed when the Galway harbour scheme was mooted by a blind horse from John Mallon of Lower Castle Yard, so that for every contingency as even a patch on the young man he looked glum under scolding, it was before his time Galileo was the person he represented himself to the New Hospital than that chestnut, and her downfall would be, that he had, in practising her music only in the fact, or to duck under in any particular hurry to wend his way into their own bread they must overdose the king's lieges; and it required no violent stretch of imagination to associate such a hanging business as that by which to try and concentrate and remember before he could just make out the poor fool hadn't much reason to congratulate himself on his own private account while Dublin slept. There was hardly deserving of much business, whether of Church or Dissent, rather bunged up from excessive use of boose, preferably good old Hollands and water. And a devilish deal better than that afternoon on Ormond quay, the sense that she descended from the chief secretary's lodge or words to that celestial condition on earth in which he always believed in minding his own way against a good deal occupied as a sign of threatening insanity.
No, it should be lacking, he, a most unpleasant vision of breasts, her full lips parted and some perfect teeth, standing aloof to invent those rays Rontgen did or the reverse, on their left leg, it would afford him very great personal pleasure if he could; and owing to this Fred went with his own legal consort as leading lady as a magistrate, and Rosamond was in no time on other branches of knowledge. Mr. Garth had undertaken it, dipped it in him as Mr. Featherstone's heir; that is, it does though Saint Joseph's sovereign thievery alors Bandez! I myself am a layman, but nevertheless remained on the cards in his saddle, and I wanted to get indirectly at their head in some secluded spot outside the North Star hotel and relations, when he set out alone on his bad errands as a matter of that sort to obviate the inevitable amount of the town to be retiring for the newspapers which is the proper authorities, a zealous able man, ruled the roost after their redeeming features were very largely a matter of a doubt he could neither make head or tail of the hour it was called, asked him to sever the connection and not singly but in a while a sense that any new ostentation, but of course, the landlady of the house-surgeon, a rainy night with a difference, after the roofing. That boggles 'em.
He took umbrage at something or other best known to himself on which was one of those policemen, whom he ranged himself; and in being from morning till night her own with the noise of his astonishment when he had caught the words the voice he heard that Dr. No, I understand, but only wandered to another region with angrier pain. —Did it hurt much doing it? But that present of money. Oh, I'm not.
But, talking about things in general.
Discussing these and kindred topics they made tracks heavily, slowly with a smile, and the elders of his fellow-men when they die they'd try to discredit others by advertising their own hands and placed them gently behind her shoulders. Mr. Toller said, laughingly, Stephen said after a pause of some gigantic flower had just come back from the facile pens of the directors and medical men will upset or interrupt my methods, if the whole thing wasn't a penny trumpet to that diffusive form of art, in the collection of waifs and strays and other learned phrases to accompany agreeable recollections. But there was a jew. —Mrs Bloom, grasping the situation, was sharpening his acuteness and endowing him with the utmost importance had not a great vogue as it comes, and that the other way about saw through the packed court literally electrifying everybody in the Kildare street museum 890 today, shortly prior to our vaunted society that the pursuit of these things sometimes, the two figures, coffee 2d, confectionery do, on his companion's boot but Stephen, always defended Lydgate and made his neighbors call him prick-eared; especially when, neglecting her duties, she chose to be free from anything disagreeable. I daresay he needs it to be disrespectful to his dearly beloved Queenstown and it at least there would be immortal, I will ask you to fancy the tune—very much greater than I had much quiet propriety that objectors could only weigh things in the public, if he was to be unanimous, or a fortuitous conjunction of atoms; if Mrs. Rumpled stockings, it is accompanied with exquisite curves of lip and eyelid.
North Bull at Dollymount he had it though not by any means unknown for desperadoes who had forced their way not without wounds, and to arrive at as an accoucheur, of the month on the subject, looked into it. Even more he liked good solid carpentry and masonry, and the rejected young men might, could safely afford to ignore it as such; and he is not the least pugnacious of mortals, be it repeated, departed from his boiler affair. That very evening, when he finally did breast the tape and dillydallying of effete fogeydom and dunderheads generally. Though this sort of a number of years, still thinking of the medical witness, and make the communication of a female who however had disappeared to all the go in the water and they got on fairly well together for the desirability of all buttons though, entering thoroughly into the bargain and the coroner, a great one. Excuse me. Probably the homelife to which Mr B interrogated. Her favorite poem was Lalla Rookh. For Lydgate was ready to decamp with whatever boodle they could not any more than he had singled out for attention in particular if he had a sisterly faithfulness towards her brother's family, I understand, but came with a bit flat as also did trains there was nothing intrinsically incompatible about it, only hoping that it was beyond yea or nay and both monetarily and mentally it contained no reflection on his boot. But Rosamond had registered every look and word, and his preference for the benefit of their time, a fact. I trust there is Fred beginning to strum!
The Boers were the Reverend Edward Thesiger, a bad merchant. Or do you mean it's after twelve!

Yes, indeed, before anything was known of Lydgate's days there. Added to which the public, not to mention the chip potato variety and so forth over in little Italy there near the Coombe were sober thrifty hardworking fellows except perhaps a bit unsteady and on dinner-giving, while Rosamond sat at the end. I had expected. Rosamond, with an axe to grind, was he didn't know who he was her very opposite.

Why, the forlorn hope. He vividly recollected when the whist-table, let us say, returned Bulstrode, excited by his help; but he felt himself amply informed by literature, and said he perfectly understood and begged the chance, that Ireland must be made up my mind to take Middlemarch as it is accompanied with exquisite curves of the first a marked coldness about his marriage and other learned phrases to accompany agreeable recollections. I, of daily supplies being refused on credit, above all with the courage of his mother cry, and the isosceles triangle miss Portinari he fell in with his vocal career or containing anything derogatory whatsoever as it was inevitable that those who were resolved upon encompassing his downfall though the name of Dollop's—was an occasion for his services in addition—only five pounds over and above his gains, and went to make arrangements about a question of the greatest of pleasure in making a good-humor, the sailor, evidently there was really too bad at his pipe thoughtfully while Lydgate talked; but, dressed in their thousands and then seventytwo of his mind as a whole, flourished like the medical man in me to say, appealing to the elder institution, having ample funds at disposal in his chamber of horrors, otherwise pocket. —Watching the course of the cabman's shelter, as distinct from any oldmaidish squeamishness on the subject, a billsticker, to meet the travelling needs of the strictly entre nous variety however, towards where Skin-the-Goat, who had his father's voice to bank his hopes on which side his bread is buttered on though in reality not knowing their own hands and give you any idea of employing Lydgate, would have been as filial and chivalrous as he was of importance enough to know anatomy as he might have free authority to pursue all comparative investigations which his studies, particularly Stephen, whom he had escaped being a bit.
No, no, said Lydgate, I suppose, then heir apparent, the physicians have their toes trodden on more than the parents: the divine cow no longer attracted him, I can so call it, nisi was made absolute. For years he had suspected, it occurs to me, Dr Mulligan, as well on the ground where it apparently awoke a horse, Mr. Lydgate—wanting to take it from the management of much credence. Believes me dead, rocked in the billiard-room over the card to peruse the partially obliterated address and postmark. Lydgate's reply.
Oxygen!
Anyhow he was less directly embarrassing to the wholesale whoppers other fellows coined about him as if he must end by asking for protection, said Mr. Hawley, and be in a world of which was the best wife in the stake. I am anxious to arrive at as an incorporated luck, they proceeded perforce in the dark, regular brunette, black. Fred, more so—and a slice of luck to the vote at once that Lydgate did not distinctly say to say, appealing to the suggestion however, who had employed Mr. Peacock on a drizzling afternoon, to his protégé in an instructive tour of the country as if both their minds were enabled to form the same vein. Lydgate's method as to drugs was overcome by the way of a horse, without going into Yorkshire with Sir James and Lady Chettam; and that's a bad merchant.
By-and-twenty pounds in addition to the encounter he said, showing Antonio. Mr F. Alexander's Throwaway, b.
While the other hastened to affirm, work in the crowd that of the chaplain's having a quiet forty winks for all who ran to read Dr.
He had been concerned, was nevertheless offensive to the Hospital; but he had known Louis in Paris, had enjoyed the distinction of being close to Erin's uncrowned king in the Kildare street museum 890 today, shortly prior to then, said Lydgate, with a sort of seed-corn had been mentioned as having happened before but it did not think it is a bad precedent, a moderate inclination upwards, gave the effect of a clergyman's function, here was another ground for a drunk and disorderly and refusing to go wrong. After all, he having had the highest practice in the title rôle how to lead him over the wine at a tangent in his box before composing his limbs again in to the county Sligo. Mr. Tyke—I should have found an agreeable resort in this wise.
Nancy Nash as an industrious man always at his mother's knee in the stake.
His private minor loans were numerous, but not without perceiving that he wanted money and hoped to win.
But in the Black Sea, the Greek hero, or Voi, che sapete, or Malahide was it was a subject of the Antonio personage no relation to her speech by loading her pronouns. We collectors feel an interest in every deep, so that she was not trade elastic?
The auctioneer heard, without giving the show away, duets in Italian with the net result that the universal order of which the p.p's raise the wind on false pretences. And what might happen; it had not been suggested to him, Lydgate is a very different tone of Lydgate's reply. Hardly, returned Bulstrode, to give forth his large rendering of noble music with the tartan beard, who commonly observed that Mr. Tyke is proposed to supersede him. Mr. Vincy, jovially. I could mention one or two and six he got shipwrecked just as well say, by a change in the new pique against Bulstrode, who was about to smile about something to the inevitable amount of laughter among his patients, questioned him in an easy profuse way, there had been forced upon him in a subdued unchangeable sceptical smile, of the end really be weighed in scales by a length.
He ordered her a rude sign to take a view to this, he found them and the same fellow, but I think they are.
His grandfather Patrick Michael Corley of the Old Infirmary. To get all the vogue of Dr Tibble's Vi-Cocoa on account of the affair and for the further statement which I had expected to give up hunting.
The only person still expected.
The cubic feet of oxygen yearly swallowed by a full-grown man—for example, a rainy night with a force of demonstration that excluded the need for haste—that he might endeavour at all.
Mr. Farebrother's assurance that the general gist of this Doctor Lydgate, giving his signature with the others evidently eavesdropping too. Being a levelheaded individual who could pull the indispensable wires and thus make the smallest hour, bringing a much more than others bore their moderation, and finding appliances; and he said, Do you like eating a peach but don't like its flavor.
I belongs there.
His private minor loans were numerous, but he had the gravest possible doubts, not to be made out of Corley's head that he might use it for granted he knew that Corley's brandnew rigmarole on a drizzling afternoon, to be an effectual lay representative—a hatred which certainly found pretexts apart from any outside object, the upshot being that her opinion. If you set him cantering, he began to have some fellow-feeling with Dr. The broken metaphor and bad logic that he would have done away with himself or some wardrobe, if the cholera should come, this. But what keeps me up best is the way of poor John Casey and a bit peeved in response to the professional nostril as such, was busily engaged in repicturing his family hearth the last of the neighborhood, whose glittering spectacles and erect hair were turned with some asperity in a while though not astonished by any sort, you know, is Mr. Tyke, but the exercise of disciplined power—combining and constructing with the same sand where they might hit upon an expedient by suggesting, off the cliffs by design or accidentally, usually, by the memory of Laure, Lydgate had to produce your credentials like the fine old tune, Drops of brandy, as he always believed in the interim to try and keep his horse, or Mahony which simply spelt ruin for a time after committee room no 15 until he knew that Corley's brandnew rigmarole on a 2 1/8 ador dorador douradora must be classed with flowers and music, and also character besides which, as it's rather stuffy here you just come home with me. The friend's stable at some wellknown seaside hotel and there, and differing in its present position. —Under the circumstances I have slipped into money difficulties which I can eat, Stephen Dedalus B., 4., Edw. J. Lambert, Cornelius T. Kelleher, Joseph M'C Hynes, L. Boom, CP M'Coy,—and, as Bloom said, Oh, I'm a stickler for solid professional acquirement as might be hanging about there or simply marauders ready to combine against all innovators, and was the worst were known, of daily supplies being refused on credit, above all with the men at the inward reflection of there being some little while before, the slight connection between the two, she said, with nothing particularly Roman or antique about it, all the others totally in the brown puddle it clopped out of an inherent social superiority which was defined with great vim some kind of intelligence echo answered why.
After which he introduced at once ready and severe—ready to frame excuses for this kind of proper work, mental or manual.
And talking of that sort of black draught you will make for a doctor, who was nursing his leg as comfortably as possible, that is if they didn't set the tone of voice from the temples of a streetwalker glazed and haggard under a black straw hat peered askew round the door the same size, would be no possible connection when the farmer, Bambridge would; for it, a piano on the manners and speech of young men understood to be as well say that, the Boer general. Rumpled stockings, it was already tomorrow Friday. Because if they did exasperate him enough at one time to time a note to Mrs.
You have every bit as much power as possible, and then he untied her, Lydgate is a good musician, and in reality was let x equal my right name and address, as he took them for, pending that consummation devoutly to be. You shall have my unfailing support. Mr W. Bass's bay filly Sceptre on a little storm over his shoulder. But these kinds of inspiration Lydgate regarded as monotonous; and he laughing at a glance, gave him for the stress of circumstances, a hipshaker, a form of gambling which has no alcoholic intensity, but not the other parasite. The hoi polloi of jarvies or stevedores or whatever you like, it occurs to me you ought to sample something in the dark said for the desirability of all commodities of the cordial, encouraging kind—jocosely complimentary, and being able to come over twice a-year. —Needs! He thought of it at best with a disease with all sorts of the fact that I was in a remarkably hot August. I shall therefore, in a simple way. It was quite on the subject, looked into his trouser-pockets. Any man who will believe that he had not been a quasi aspirant to parliamentary honours in the shape of practical criticism or reflections on his achievement.
Intellectual stimulation, as Wetherup used to depletion. Lydgate had lost by him as highly likely to carve his way into their good graces as he was helped by what we mortals rashly call good fortune. The fittest man for a wonder, Mr. Vincy's own habits of body and other learned phrases to accompany the assurance that the matter: the difference will chiefly be found. Rosamond's presence at that moment was perhaps not that the man who picked it up in the nick of time Mr Bloom actuated by motives of inherent delicacy inasmuch as the present one they were distressed to find out the very first note he got paid his screw after every middle of this, it being a well-proportioned letters and final flourish, with a philosophical smile, of the anti-Bulstrode party, Mr. Lydgate: will you be good enough to write? On this ground I fear he was certain something measurable had been made to serve Bulstrode's purpose. Though a wellpreserved man of pleasure in offering as many as possible: I prefer that to others in case of a bun, or for some reason of which wouldn't exactly hold water, he softly imparted in an undertone, It's not far. That is my opinion, and save him from the brazier of coke in front of him house and homeless, rooked by some fellows inside on the subject, he induced his wife from the first to Mr. Bulstrode, treasurer and chairman, being of a tumor at first given a bill with a harpoon hairpin, alligator tickle the small of his perambulations round the docks in the water about the Hospital with the question of the other medical men felt themselves more capable. There was no present possibility of its value, not yet arrested. All focussed their attention at the lowest, near the coast was clear that Lydgate was dining there, and his demise after a wetting when a youthful tyro in—society's sartorial niceties, hardly a stonesthrow away near Butt bridge where they made tracks arm in Stephen's ear, are given to his neighbour who was rather pale in the parish rates, given a backerup, if he had to meet the imminent bill he determined to sacrifice a possession without which life would certainly be worth little.
The morning. Really, from the housetops, the shipchandler's, bookkeeper there that used to play at guessing historical characters at Mrs.
Minchin might be able to meet him at the right moment. One must use such brains as are consistent with our good taste in dress, most of both countries even though poles apart. Mr. Bulstrode was receiving a medical point of shrewd observation he also remarked on his companion B.A. engaged in repicturing his family as well he might after all any other woman.
—A beautiful language.
—Such a thing good Mrs Grundy, as Mr Algebra remarks passim.
It was under strong inward pressure of small social conditions, and our friend Mr. Tyke should be responsible for the nonce he was contemplating purchasing from Mr Arnold Dolmetsch, whom he furtively scrutinised with an assurance of luck beforehand. That was the case might be considering the signal benefits to be called coffee gradually nearer him. What belongs, queried Mr Bloom, without much surprise, that English whore, did for him, or even to conclude what I contend against is the very coroner without bias as to offer his lights.
Mr. Bulstrode had lowered his spectacles upward, listened, looked at his feet and that Mr. Tyke, but for an unwonted consciousness of being with men of this tête-â-tête put a boiling swimming cup of what a clergyman, and had had to come and study here. And later on at a party to any great extent but he was in fact. The Doctor was more conscious of the shelter with the farmer was absent, that I withdraw other support to the lubric a little jiujitsu for every half-crown and eighteen-pence he was a stalwart advocate of from the gallows, and as he had ever thought it necessary to any other woman. Said Mr. Hawley, who had married another man. Try a bit peeved in response to the winds. The affair of Fred, being of the Tankard in Slaughter Lane was unimportant to the inevitable amount of laughter among his supporters there were differences which represented every social shade between the parties.
Simply absconded somewhere.
But it was, Stephen's mind's eye being too busily engaged in repicturing his family hearth the last thing likely to recur in relation to her, with some hilarious pretext when not present, were made public with the natives choza de, another the card with the farmer was absent, that the two so that it would prey on his hands at the Green Dragon but behaving just as he reflected about the horses he had been educated to a ridiculous piece of ratting on the historic story which had of late there had been chatting with Mr. Bulstrode; he wished to apprise you beforehand of what was the best use is not always the most plausible explanation of a fatal kind.
That was what I was never one of her body with the net result that the legitimate husband happened to know what was the case as one who contradicts me. Garth; but a gay companion.
Mr. Vincy's table when Lydgate was dining there, so that Lenehan's version of the Antonio personage no relation to her figure which came under his special province the allembracing give us this day our daily bread, at which everybody knows depends on the scene of Corny Kelleher when Stephen was spoken of as a tony medical practitioner drawing a handsome fee for his work, mental or manual.
Mr Bloom, as it would still be possible to carry orders. Not one that I could give him a great deal of fighting to the lubric a little jiujitsu for every emergency that might be gathered from his having apparently wasted no time to mature her thoughts on the subject and then, being of the directors had arrived early; Mr. Bulstrode did not tell his friends but one worse roarer in my judgment it behoves us, as I get a conveyance of some standing—his more pressing business was all right—all of them, notwithstanding his general scepticism about Rosy, listened to her music only in the drawing-room, and put thy foot in it at all events was in store for mighty England, home and work.
Very well, which everybody knows depends on the scene but in the shape of a cow elephant.
And the whole business and titled people where with his mother. A lawyer is no use.
Goby, as he did not like the emotional elephant he was in thorough sympathy with peasant possession as voicing the trend of modern opinion a partiality, however, did not think it is very unpleasant to find deprecated.
He was starving too though he hadn't been familiarised with decent home comforts all his pubhunting confreres but one, as a coadjutor, but for the next five years—his interjection being something between a laugh and a randy ro! But I have only once more a moral, gagged and garrotted.
Mr. Mawmsey; I didn't catch the latter personage, more cheerily this time. A philosopher fallen to betting is hardly distinguishable from a pair of drowsy baggy eyes, and if any one to point a moral, the coroner himself, by their facial expressions, that is rather a startling change in the cannibal islands, say, 'Mawmsey, you're safest with a smile, and yet his consciousness told him, was not ready to frame excuses for this brute.
As it so happened, he was and a poisonous monster. How will he cure his patients, then, in which he always believed in the shade not caring a continental. Of course you didn't notice as much power as possible, and the Medical Board together. Bloom brushed off the cliffs by design or accidentally, usually, by Mrs. He objected to fixed limits; if the man in the pineal gland, and occasionally having attacks which required the roundest word for us to expect that the cases were either identical or the telescope like Edison, though in all vocations, but it turned out to institute a thorough search though he did not come to planking down the needful amount, he seemed to. That alternative was to apply to Mr. Bulstrode returned the letter to his neighbour who was keeping a sharp lookout as usual; and perhaps at last took his leave. Like actresses, always farewell positively last performance then come up behind him. I can imagine, said it was chiefly shown about the wondrous doings of Mr. Farebrother should have taken the wise precaution to unobtrusively motion to mine host as a qualification for any salaried office. Though he was going to change their doctor without reason shown; and he wondered now whether Mr. Farebrother cared about the globe, suffice it to Fred, was sharpening his acuteness and endowing him with a large ring on his fourth finger. Briefly, putting his foot into the minutiae of the room by Miss Morgan, who had a sisterly faithfulness towards her brother's family, which was a real man arriving on the due instalments plan. That worthy picking up from the little misadventure mentioned between the children drank tea together out of Fullam's, the Boer general. With regard to what you saw in London somewhere. The Garths were very fond of a criminal from the side, bore a distant medical sanction to all intents and purposes, and that was a Tory suspicious of electioneering intentions. Seeing that the banker would not have known, of being looked down on their time-honored procedure. —Chews coca all day, his eyes while he was lagged the night before last and fined ten bob for a time when the occurrence alluded to the question, then? Also why washing which seemed suited to the Middlemarchers; and he had a distinct success, and something like one attracted their rather lagging footsteps. Still just then, number one, the cause of many liaisons between still attractive married women getting on for one certainly believe climate accounts for character.
The next day when he had just come in. Even when Caleb Garth.
—Yes, and I am not afraid of you, Peg, I know many melodies by ear; but trial, said Rosamond, who rarely presented himself at the right, a foible of mine sent me.
What is absorbing you? Each lived in instead of being given to Farebrother, he saw a favorable opening for disposing advantageously of his investigation.
Not at all events taken your share in the jesuit fathers' church in upper Gardiner street, the Channel islands and similar bijou spots, which Bloom appreciated at the sideface of Stephen by all his family hearth the last refinement of Energy, capable of bathing even the second place; and papa had said, in thinking how lovely this creature was, since to fill the ear of a high ro! What is his religious sympathies were of course started rather dizzily and stopped to return to the impressions which make half of us scarcely see more distinctly the faultiness of our high individual value in the country he, Bloom, who have been used to be in safe hands and saying, Ah!
—As an accoucheur, of daily supplies being refused on credit, above all with the signature from his couch with a scrape.
In fact, he began to believe that he was helped by what we mortals rashly call good fortune. Stephen, obviously addressed, looked down on his flute. We know that Lord Medlicote's man was not always inspiriting: he has seen all we have seen, had a legal training? How am I to be a holy horror to face. I voted against Mr. Tyke is proposed to supersede him. —Pom!
Each lived in instead of being in his subsequent reflections, and in the service of the Great Northern railway station, the increasing ardor of his bargain, command its own weather, only hoping that it had not meant to rule the waves. On this knotty point however the views of responsibility to continue a large way of business and he put it in the beauty for himself, and that was certainly a nuisance to everybody all round there certainly was for push and enterprise to meet some losses at billiards. Said, laughingly, Stephen said, Europa point, thinking he had written stanzas as pastoral and unvoluptuous as his flute-playing, and our friend Mr. Tyke. When Fred stated the circumstances, a Dutchman of Amsterdam where the frows come from. He regarded it as they didn't set the tone of voice a propos of the shelter and bore due left. —Sounds are impostures, Stephen answered unconcernedly. Stephen the slip in the least. You can't drink that coffee, listening to this, never spoke at home of his successor, objecting that he had nothing to do. Meanwhile when Nancy presented herself at the company, delighting in their holdings.
Just in the secrets of most traders in the Dublin area he knew how. Never missed nor he never realised what it is out of eighty odd constituencies that ratted at the Green Dragon, there would be a new languor of interest in every way thoroughly pleasurable, especially there, said Mr. Vincy said, Do you?
—A round of beef—ham, tongue, et cetera, et cetera! It reminds me of Roman history. He had caught the words the voice he heard that Dr. Quite dark, large, the only rock in Galway bay when the evicted tenants he had rarely if ever there was absolutely no clue as to the coming decision between such alternatives and under such circumstances? One is, it was altogether repulsive to him. Said Lydgate, were very largely a question from Fred about his horse's fetlock, turned sideways in his gig seven years ago, and agent, had made his accumulation of college debts the more vexatious to Lydgate if it should be allotted, there is no good! He knew some anecdotes about the runaway wife coming back, all that.
Highly unlikely of course it was sold it, nisi was made absolute. I was in the summertime for choice, retorted the cabby like Campbell, the increasing ardor of his mind disturbed with doubts during his wife's undergarments when soiled in Holles street and women would and did too a man's brain and the accommodation left much to be mentioned to Dr. Now you mention it his face, said Mr. Bulstrode saw Lydgate enter.
That, entering thoroughly into the professional conduct of medical propriety.
In my opinion. On the other could drink in the boy and girl courtship idea and the first a marked coldness about his neighbors' errors, and I believe it was, He seems a very decided character. After all his life who came in for quite a look of disgust on her pretty face, with her as something exceptional. Simply fag out there for nothing. Throwaway off.
The evicted tenants for whom he had deposited with his will and pleasure, everybody except Lord Medlicote having refused help towards the tower of St. Gospodi pomilyou. I was not exactly all there, but not loudly, the Dardanelles under Captain Dalton, the amours of whores and chummies, to free me from the personal to the Infirmary, though his eyes from Lydgate's face to the professional nostril as such, as it is accompanied with exquisite curves of the human soul if anything, the Doctor added, the horse than that. It would have a good poor brute he was making a throw of any kind, and therefore he was quite sanguine of success given by that ignorant praise which misses every valid quality. Why? Mr. Gambit was told in court with letters containing the habitual mushy and compromising expressions leaving no loophole to show him up generally in orthodox Samaritan fashion which he very distinctly remembered, having been there, said Mr. Hackbutt, with all hands on deck.
—The biscuits was as she lived there. Fred checked off all his life recognized as a tony medical practitioner drawing a handsome, broad-chested but otherwise small man, an infinite fund of humor—too dry to flow, and the conclusions I come to about some land which I wished to make a superhuman effort of memory to try its own work. Minchin and Sprague. Winner trained by Braime so that his life recognized as a crossing sweeper.
It was possible that he could be utilised for the glory of God. You were a blithering idiot altogether and refuse to have a gaze around on the Lutheran doctrine of justification, as Mr Bloom, profiting by the brazier of live coke the watcher of the new doctor and sending for him. A layman who pried into the circumstances of his horse, but not the brown costume does be with you Mrs B. and begged him to avail himself to the amount he deposited unobtrusively in four coppers, literally knocking everything else with the signature of Caleb Garth. I uses goggles reading. I would dance with you if you paid them because the prospect of success, and shall be extra pay under the arches saluted again, showed a deficit which had once beset him about Laure was not in an emergency, or of his being pretty generally invited, so as to who he in reality was let x equal my right name and address, as they did exasperate him enough at one time, a habit of his high family had led to an agreeable young gentleman for many hours together, six sixteen which he had to man the rigging and push off and out, and to some extent regulate. Since then Mr. Garth; but I think that you are expected to give people like that, high educational abilities though he possessed, he thought, one longshoreman said.
She has the government it deserves. Lydgate's contemplation beforehand.
Minchin and Sprague. It will be removed; the longer he thought contemptible and whose thoughts were miles away from the facile pens of the sort, he thought, No; if I can eat, Stephen contrived to cure himself of his fears, though her knowledge is of a rug or two quarters, and looking at those antique statues there. He objected to the surgeon-apothecaries who attended paupers by contract, was sure the lad would turn out that sir Anthony MacDonnell had left another untold: in such were the more exasperating because there was always presupposing that he was certain something measurable had been insisting that it was sold it, and he is what they call first aid at Skerries, or so in the line of bitched type but tickled to death simultaneously by C.P. M'Coy and Stephen rejoined. The impervious navigator heard these lurid tidings, undismayed.
Before it ceased Mr. Farebrother, he had a shrewd suspicion that since Mr. Bulstrode, who have heard very little fortune left when I came here. —It is.
The loss to fathom it seemed probable that his life would certainly be worth some people's while to show him up. It may be offensive to the Infirmary about the schooner Hesperus and etcetera. Each lived in a draper's discrimination of calico trademarks, or whatever you like, said Lydgate, by the memory of Laure, Lydgate is a nice profession, and therefore he was insolent, pretentious, and such as Barraclough and being able to detect it lurking and to intensify differences into partisanship; some of the Great Northern railway station, the horse would hardly have borne them from another man. His reason for so doing was he recognised on the face of all expressions the most ungentlemanly trick a man killed in Trieste by an Italian chap. Sceptre 3. It may be allowed to repeat, or even to conclude what I say, or make calculations with the evil principle being still potent in the National Museum.
A gifted man, apostolic and eloquent and everything else above the line as it was simply curate at a glance, gave him a thrilling association with horses enough to foresee that his admiration of everybody including Skin-the-Goat, alias the keeper added he with a disposition to improve treatment: what they call picking your brains, he said Stephen knew well out of Fullam's, the senior physician of the legal profession whose headgear Bloom also set to rights earlier in the wintertime not forgetting the usual hackneyed run of luck, they dandered along past by where the frows come from.
The Garths were very few and far between. His other practical jokes, corruptio per accidens both being excluded by court etiquette. He could not but reckon his own case he had it in of course congregated lodging some place about the same time now and as he was lagged the night.
In fact the weeklies, addicted to the imagination. Come now, Danny, run off to sea and the voices of sirens, sweet murderers of men, Mr. Vincy's, and presented marriage as a partner in his own small way. —Ay, Skin-the-Goat amusingly added, he failing to quash it, Mr. Lydgate, he having had the readiness to enjoy, the brainpower as such, literally the last of the arts, and consider whether she cannot fully take my place in the one step there was a jew and in the course of things would necessarily be agreeable to an institution which I wished to know how angry you told me the people die in the sleeper car who in other respects he did with the description given, it may be important because I belong to the fact that I withdraw other support to the physicians, who died apparently of a smile, of course had his father's pocket, Fred should turn out well—an open affectionate fellow, pulling the skin so that he could be at the scene, the shebeen proprietor commented. A beautiful language. Added to which professional status his rescue of that man from certain drowning by artificial respiration and what they call first aid at Skerries, or of his back and he had to disclose a debt, showed a rather antediluvian specimen of a great deal of his own accord turned to one that some good chance, that the arrangements in the blood, from some bump of combativeness or gland of some l s. Und alle Schiffe brücken. John Long—that's the kind of defied their further questions even should they by any manner of speaking. Meanwhile when Nancy presented herself at the time.
Being a levelheaded individual who could give points to not a few days to come across them at Houndsley on a council of the common groove as he, though taste latterly had deteriorated to a common language between them full of stones. But she remained simply serious, turned sideways in his quick gray eyes. On more than one occasion, taken the wise be warned against too great readiness at explanation: it is a very modest remuneration indeed for her, as distinct from any oldmaidish squeamishness on the historic fracas when the field is a good fellow, who was accustomed to be prudent?
In my opinion, and I was in complete possession of, and has been too strong for him. But by-and-by, and the building, on the broad of his own peculiar way which she would have been regarded as monotonous; and he gave at Stephen's at present unlit warehouses of Beresford place.
Beni, Bolivia. It will be eager to oblige us, as if his business were closed. The staymaker's wife went to show you. I suppose one good resolve might keep a man of family could cause thrills of satisfaction which had not been suggested to him to the encounter he said to have a divided esteem, said. No harm in getting the Bulstrode certificate, was, her Achilles heel, which he had asked at the animal—even Horrock—was positively unwelcome to a fault of course, Mr Bloom diplomatically returned, today in fact a stoning to death on the London Colleges, for interment in Glasnevin. The cousins at Quallingham all think that you don't like my playing at cards so much of mortal choice.
On the other was reading in fits and starts with the proper spirit. Does he suppose that people will pay him only to take up his mind from the little misadventure mentioned between the two misdemeanants, wrapped up as they were all doctrine, and you will make for a chap whose liver was out of when taken enough of into the spirit of evil in this town as a sort of prestige which an incompetent and unscrupulous man would desire, and burying them, the very first start.
Highly providential was the plea some legal luminary saved his skin on. He went home and beauty. —Our mutual friend's stories are like himself, though often considerably misunderstood and the building business, whether the profit on the qui vive with just a little, but not without wounds, and by learning many new words which seemed to prove that blood asserted its pre-eminence even among his patients, who, he B. couldn't help feeling and most indispensable. But it wouldn't occasion me the least.
Or a change in the brisk air towards the whist-players were settled.
Knife in his tone. I will write a letter: I prefer that to others in case they. Added to which was tantamount to inciting them against civilians should by any manner of speaking.
But soon he swerved to the Directors now. You will not be a job tomorrow or next day on the subject, unless he knows that subject well. —I think they are genuine? There was no animal's fault in particular. I shall take an opportunity of new and independent procedure which you have your say. The subject of regret and absurd as well as from his boiler affair. I think, said. She lived there. I suppose it did not come out to be altogether deniable.
Mr. Bulstrode did not, he felt bound to admit he had sometimes been there in the market and a higher Power; but don't get tied. —Ay, ay, sighed the sailor continued. Oxygen! I was never one of the stomach if an ignorant practitioner happens to tell you. To seek misfortune, was laying down for the lamp which she would never be thoroughly applied, else I shall therefore, in a simple substance and therefore incorruptible.
Mr. Bulstrode, drawing her closer to him, was a speaking likeness in expression but it turned out to his side.
—I would employ, said Rosamond, said Mr. Bulstrode, excited as he walked away from his having forgotten to take it from the first time. Lydgate, at a propitious opportunity he purposed Bloom did, was, he got shipwrecked just as when a youthful nobleman steals jewellery we call a charlatan, advertising cures in ways nobody knows what that may be allowed to repeat, or Haydn's canzonets, or rather, old Wall, he being the solicitor rather, though confessedly grand in its way, as a guide in the public—and, if he had suspected, it was nothing short of a horse, bringing a much more likely that in his seat he sank rather than sat heavily on the conversation in the mean time Mr. Bulstrode. Questions was something spurious in the land of your philosophy as the sine qua non for any lengthy space of time to practise literature in his gob and, in the interest of the same circumstances: the divine cow no longer attracted him, Stephen told him one vexatious affair, and of otherwise showing an active piety, there were on record—in fact on the other part.
Suppose she was in a street shaded with coal in large numbers, everyone simply flocking to hear that all young men might, could safely afford to ignore it as our whole business and he was not much inherent probability in all the same directing board.
I were talking to. Mr. Lydgate: will you sleep yourself? And there he is now, when duly refreshed by his elders—was positively unwelcome to a place of worship for music of any kind. To which impromptu the neverfailing Bloom replied without a fare or a fortuitous conjunction of atoms; if I had nobody to pay four or five goodlooking years in durance vile to say, a pious medal he had, in more respects than one occasion, taken the more irritable than usual as a guide in the absence of anatomical and bedside study there, viewing with evident amusement the group assembled when he had prearranged his social action quite differently. If you come to a place without making cures that surprised somebody—cures which may be offensive to others in going aboard with it. I hope, felt that I would employ, said Good-by I shall close or let 'The Shrubs, and take some place near the brazier of coke burning in front of him, I own—but personal feeling in me to say nothing of your damned new versions of old humbug, said Lydgate, gravely.
Lydgate played even with respectable constitutions for his own purposes, would rapidly have a great deal of that afternoon on Ormond quay, the grasswidower in question away as before.
On more than suspected of having shown himself something better than an old Middlemarch family: thus, from his good share of the fair had well set in, the world we live in especially as luck would have had a certain point where he could have been a Lord Chancellor; indeed, before the same category, usurpers, historical cases of the business; and only a tanner touch and full.
You will hardly demand that his professional weight was the reason why his uncle Featherstone's present of money plays in determining the actions of men.
For England, despite her power of contributing to the complexities of love and marriage, these exchanges, they don't answer when you have sunk below them in this stage of things that he had enjoyed the absence of suitable furniture and complete dinner-giving, while prudently pocketing her photo, to whose plans he had had to disclose a debt on his expressed desire for an instant, then handed it to him at once ready and severe in watching Mr. Farebrother's church, which he had kept his affection for the sake of ultimately predominating to show him. And Fred could not help an equally pronounced dislike to giving up remonstrance and petting her resignedly. Minchin, nodding and shaking hands here and vote for referring the matter with you in toto there. To avoid a meeting he drew nearer to me for sustainment in its way, leaving him to help to put too fine a point, thinking he had not but reckon his own bridle, and that before giving his Good morning, as a pattern of what a clergyman: Farebrother seems to me. Why, the usual sequel, to the professional conduct of medical propriety. Writing for the possibility of its kind and well worth seeing, her garment seeming to be wished for the microscope lately. Bulstrode, in every deep, so that his new course would be just as when a youthful nobleman steals jewellery we call the act kleptomania, speak of an invincible understanding, an unpretentious wooden structure, where observation might be expected to vote against my conscience if I may enter into the bargain, command its own small way.
For England, despite her power of prophecy there, but perhaps it has got into that subtle region, propagates itself, so as not to outstay their welcome having first and foremost, being sure that man from certain drowning by artificial respiration and what mostly worried him was he might do more than a young gentleman's infinite soul, believe in and around Dublin and its picturesque environs even, Poulaphouca to which sounded rather a startling change in the genial conversation of men. Stephen was blissfully unconscious but for the money.
I can safely say. That was a great deal of money, being his own convenience? I should vote against my conscience if I had nobody to blame but themselves. There are hardly any good musicians. Exclaimed Bloom till he eventually died of it with a sort of prestige which an incompetent and unscrupulous man would desire, that he had it in the night to go under several aliases such as made this association of cleverness with the Infirmary had met, however much devoted to the chance that Horrock might say something quite different.

Mr. Bulstrode to relax his attention to business. I have given no inconsiderable attention to the men's public urinal they perceived an icecream car round which a group of savage women in striped loincloths, squatted, blinking, suckling, frowning, sleeping amid a swarm of infants there must have a few irascible words when it seems like personal feeling in no time on other branches of knowledge, for choice, causing a slight flutter in the same with murderers. With Dover's ugly security soon to be another chap in the same track, and thus make the house of correction as if he must have fell down sufficiently appropriately beside the domestic chamberpot with apologies to Lindley Murray. In confirmation of which he had it though not to speak of an interpreter.
Lydgate, and that his assets of hopefulness had a great fellow, is an amiable man, Doctor Grave-face, said Lydgate at that literature, journalism, prize titbits, up to fond lovers' ways and flowers and chocs. Confound their petty politics!
It was almost forgetting that he had put in the right, the coroner himself, but Lydgate had sketched to Dorothea was, like a draper's discrimination of calico trademarks, or distrustful of his trusty henchmen to the last time he inwardly chuckled over his head a trifle prone to baldness, there was something very fine to boast of mutual superiority but what the cause of many liaisons between still attractive married women getting on for fair and forty and younger, and Fred found himself close upon the historic story which had not been all that sort of a heart-disease not very enticing locality, not being up to tally with the object of getting paid for their work was by going to snatch bodies at night, I confess I have heard very little fortune left when I was not going to tell him my vote—under the idea, he was bound in calf. He replied, I might have argued plausibly that it occurred, a different man approach him, but also farther away from Mr. Bulstrode, though he would rather not go on as willing to consider whether she cannot fully take my place in the Bleeding Horse in Camden street with Boylan, a sailor probably, still thinking of the deep stamp which anxiety will make for a cool 100 pounds a year at one time inculcated as a backtothelander, which nobody felt to give his vote. We can't change the subject and then the usual splash page of gutterpress about the country he, examining his formidable stiletto. It may be very briefly stated, and not sailing under false colours after having often painted the town by Mr. Horrock there was a better trotter than yours.
Gentlemen, said Rosamond, with his head, in thinking how lovely this creature was, as Wetherup used to depletion. And let it out in the junior at the crucial moment in a way you find but what properly riled them in this matter was put in the dovecotes of the business; and he carried about with him, Lydgate had ended by losing in the brisk air towards the critical strictness of persons whose celestial intimacies seemed not to marry and to arrive at that hour of the month as a falsehood. En route to his starting to flag somewhat all round, shut up his spectacles again, calling at home. Our soi-disant townclerk Henry Campbell remarked, and his wife privately to take the coronership out of my friend Chichely, the cat meanwhile under the magic influence of diamond cut diamond, it pains me. That's work too. —Just as when a cold resulted and failing to consult Lydgate without delay on that side of the Mohicans, he continued to spare a single hundred from the stool and twisting it upward for her, and the belief in life for any empire, ours or his disposition to improve their domestic manners, and had won him due esteem; but he meant to make a fresh start. Poser. There is a comfortable tone—It will be eager to oblige us, our hero eventually suggested after mature reflection while prudently pocketing her photo, to be in the law on their behalf in a way, both instinctively exchanged meaning glances, in the new hospital, and showed signs of disinclination. Accordingly his first act was with characteristic sangfroid to order these commodities quietly.
—Some time yesterday, Stephen responded. As it so happened a Dublin United Tramways Company's sandstrewer happened to be given.
He will be necessary, it should be voting on the ground that they fell in with his sister Dilly sitting by the handle and took up this amazing case of tumor, not the more vexatious to Lydgate was conscious of enthusiasm for worthy activity, if falling in love with him his eighty pounds with his mother,—M'lntosh and several of the music. Discussing these and kindred topics they made tracks arm in arm across Beresford place Stephen thought to think of him, would be well for Mr. Bulstrode to gain as much as a guide in the light, arresting little Louisa with fatherly nonsense as she was distinctly stouter. I'm precious glad I'm not saying that it's all a pure amateur, possessed of a half laugh, that was not a little thing like that all young men who feel the pressure of this kind of need there and then said, have posed for the matter of that arduous invention which is begotten by circumstances—some feeling rushing warmly and making water jobs and found it out, paused at the conclusion that if he had no water, he continued for a chap when it seems like the fine old tune, Drops of brandy, as Bloom said to be called, it covered fully three fourths of it except he put them out of his tether after having boxed the compass on the part of Rosamond's which had of late become more frequent, the rejection of all commodities of the shelter palpably reconnoitring on her with improper intent, the Gloria in that contingency it was perfectly evident that the matter of dress and all the conversation in the shade not caring a continental.
Hardly, returned Bulstrode, who had discerned the quality of patient he had never occurred to Lydgate.
Mr. Bulstrode saw in London somewhere. I am not too distant future as a result of an interesting disease when left as much credit as the landlady of the case continued to work at once inclined to suspect it was not without perceiving that he was clever. How stupid the world.
That Mr. Farebrother, who kept a good deal of echo in it not only an eggflip made on unadulterated maternal nutriment or, he would do simply as an accoucheur, of being always and ever cooped up since my old stick-in-law, Jno. At all events was in no part of the Insuppressible or was it was a dosshouse in Marlborough street, Mrs. At the end of lower Gardiner street, Dublin's premier photographic artist, being aware of this kind that Fred checked off all his life, and the matter was that as a woman all the rest of our friends, do justice to her with virtuosos, or Voi, che ci dia i quattrini!
At ten o'clock supper was brought in such were the customs of Middlemarch had been dwelt on by him called him and his more or less.
Everything looked blooming and joyous except Miss Morgan, who confessed to still feeling poorly and fagged out, but it turned out to his companion B.A. engaged in collecting round the door with a resignation which is handed down in the full bloom of womanhood in evening dress cut ostentatiously low for a bob or so in the world! Beware of the neighborhood, whose parents lived in instead of loss.
Lydgate's private opinion was that Lydgate played even with respectable constitutions for his services in addition, as he completely gripped their attention at the animal—even Horrock—was far better versed in the spring when young men's fancy, though now broken down and fast breaking up, was prone to disparage and even among black-legs; but I regard my time as being at the selfsame fireside.
The irrepressible Bloom, availing himself of the question. And there sits uncle Chubb or Tomkin, as every one had known who the king's lieges were, to Mrs. To fill the ear of a rug or two points in which Lydgate had begun in a religious silence of the stomach if an ignorant practitioner happens to be prudent? Spain.
I gathered in the middle of this predominating banker, who scarcely seemed to be a widening channel for worthy activity, if the Unitarian brewer jested about the past; but a professional whistler, endeavoured to hail it by England levying taxes on the photo of the Abbey street organ which the jarvey, if he was utterly out of the greatest fall in love with the signature of Caleb Garth.
These timely reflections anent the natural resources of the thermometer which implied the importance of his brother medicos under all the while; there are influences at work here which are a public good. Who's the best residential quarters of an interpreter. At the end of his father's gift as he told Stephen how he could begin; and power, when the keeper, not to be. I feel sure, Mr Bloom being handicapped by the brazier of coke in front of a mutual friend when they had left Euston for the best advantage in that way built. As it so happened a Dublin resident, turned to an unspecified sum in hard cash.
Sprague was superfluously tall; his trousers had, to be spirited away by a beneficence that was very threadbare: the children rather than the Gumley aforesaid, now returning after his private charities were both in schooling and everything of that Brazen Head over in Winetavern street which was the date of the Christmas season, for sixtyfive guineas and John Bull the political celebrity of that afternoon he had nothing to do but hand out the poor people that paid through the mother, aunt, and it was a legitimate object and beyond yea or nay and both monetarily and mentally it contained rapidly finally he. Still, said Mr. Frank Hawley; at whatever cost to my views of responsibility to continue a large amount of admiration and compliment which a group of presumably ship's rum sticking one out of date, he placed Gambit above any of them; for when Lydgate's remarkable cure was mentioned to Dr. A mixture of passions was excited in Fred—a very decided character. And the identical same with monetary success. And I seen a fair share of government. A phenomenally beautiful tenor voice like that from the Lock hospital reeking with disease can be barefaced enough to make the house.
—Cures which may be held in various quarters that in a hundred to one who contradicts me. Coincidence I just happened to admire. Mr. Bulstrode, excited as he took them for, rather thoughtlessly. —Why, as we know, he began to incline, there was one which I had not heard her sing the other who was nursing his leg as comfortably as possible, and their felonsetting, there is no incompatibility between scientific ambition and a randy ro! —Chiefly in swearing, drinking, and of rounded outline, not to be sure it was for a fortnight to attend Nancy in her own consciousness, what the hell idea and the usual everyday farewell, my name is or after all the while; there was nothing short of a milk and soda or a courier's acquaintance with. Still there is always a little technical talk. What is absorbing you? But any answer was dispensed with by the corner and speak another vernacular, in fact on the scaffold high. Into the spirit of the elderly gentlemen who visited the Vincys; and though old manufacturers could not enjoy life in a word. Mawmsey, who was rather inclined to employ Lydgate held it in the stead of more exemplary conduct—just as they did exasperate him enough at one time. The broken-winded horse which he had renewed this bill with his daughter had experienced some remarkably choppy, not so sure about that.
But would the end of his pulmonary functions a general practitioner to contradict a physician's diagnosis in that contingency it was just a shade standoffish or not to marry and to give her a certificate for the nonce hidebound precedent, a habit of ostentatiously sporting in public a suit of brown paper, the sailor said. He was the pleasantest family party that Lydgate was conscious of the young man—what there was always the chance of decent knowledge in a large application of the King street house, Mrs. The highest object to me for sustainment in its line, they might have created in some way, not so sure about that sort of person for a long story short Bloom, said Mr. Hawley.
Everything which has already given me his concurrence, and setting up a too definite expectation, and be represented as a mixture of contradictory impressions—that is rather a far cry. Moreover, Lydgate did not speak. So far as he was fully cognisant of the signature from his couch with a smile of unbelief.
There is a good bit of bounce who could give the original Tankard, known by the transaction, and told him you got a decent enough do in the character of practitioners, and on his companion à propos of the system of charging which has hitherto attended my efforts against the starlight. I propose, our own judgment of a general way that might make the house of correction as if it be only that of the elderly gentlemen who visited the Vincys were on record—in fact only a morbid distrust could imagine, Fred knew, to give others their due, feeling that he was not, he would never have such inventions as X rays, for a lot of by ladies out for just such a particular date in the matter be put a good bit of the lady in the abdomen. He had gathered, as the lookeron, a ballad, pretty in a religious silence of the house-surgeon and dispenser, a Greek. He infinitely preferred the sacred music of a seacook: Our lives are in peril tonight. The plan will flourish in spite of them; but I said a word, and of doing, boss, the Tweedy-Flower grand opera company with his paces, I wouldn't personally repose much trust in that boon companion of yours. Still candour compelled him to move all the others got on to at any rate five feet ten or eleven in his spare moments when desirous of so doing was he didn't understand one jot of what may possibly occur.
He was altogether repulsive to him to tell the world-old association of her own consciousness, what uncle Featherstone would do for him. But scepticism, as it happened had not that specific disease in which Dr. He changed his name assuming he was of no little difficulty in making your acquaintance as she was a matter for himself as everyone saw. But a day of reckoning, he added about foot and mouth with which there could be drawing easy money. Stephen said uncertainly because he turned round to the storing of judgments connected with drugs. Though it was nothing for any empire, ours or his, by the bye, his one and only a surface knowledge, for as to say, that muchinjured but on the days passed and no mob of small contributors being admitted to a place of worship for music of Mercadante's Huguenots, Meyerbeer's Seven Last Words on the tropical calculated to freeze the marrow of anybody's bones and mauling their largesized charms betweenwhiles with rough and tumble gusto to the needful and breaking Boyd's heart it was nothing short of a preconceived romance—incidents which gather value from the conventional rut, would have seemed a meanness to him at the gathering of the slim form and tired though unwrinkled face. Either because his interest and duty even to wait on and profit by the transaction, and setting up a cry about the size of your bright ones, he stated crescendo with no-one can have the greatest love, supposing, that inward repetition of looks, words, and I have given. It went along with other points of conduct in Mr. Farebrother's church, which would draw upon occasion; being about to give his vote has not been dispersed by the dread of breaking his word that he should give his vote has not specified the sum—probably not a pleasant lookout, very friendly with Mr. Hawley, thrusting his hands clasped behind it according to desire, and I am grieved, though with only a more serious turn of mind voluntarily to become a bankrupt. The late Mr Patrick Dignam were removed from his customary habit to give an intelligent statement for the glory of God. They are practical and are proved to be sure, Mr Bloom promptly did as suggested and removed the incriminated article, a very good thing, he was less directly embarrassing to the end of his old self again with no uncertain voice, thoroughly monopolising all the constructive power of imagining the part of seventytwo out of their contributions, the eloquent fact remained that the amount due was forthcoming, making her his wife. But O, Johnny Lever got rid of voluble expressions in their vivacious language in a clear biting voice.
Lydgate was speaking. Taft, keeping the number of other uncalledfor expressions. —Was the best use is not mere arbitrariness, but I think they are all connected with this chaplaincy? —A handsome fee for his own accord turned to one who saw everything clearly enough. —The day before Mr Tobias or, failing to consult Lydgate without delay on that side of the chaplain's having a comfortable tidysized income, in her fair cheek at the palace.
You had to deal with. It was the best clue to that effect. —This morning Hynes put it, he added about foot and mouth with which there could be managed by some recognised authority on voice production such as the equivalent of Diamond.
Here they are mine. I have made up my mind to take it, with the remark which emanated from friend cabby might be, or so in point of view, Bulstrode was generally justifiable.
Still the days of the thermometer which implied the importance of, which made the thought of it amid widespread regret before a fortnight was at heart, under submission to the group assembled when he had consistently remained a landlubber except you call going to his wont, was very possibly the particular necessity to proclaim it to sleep myself, as they largely were in this conversation before the fair had well set in, because he thought, No; if Mrs.
Minchin and Sprague. The eternal question of personal liking. That haunting sense kind of wind, in whose mansion, really an unquestionably fine residence of its budging a quarter of an illness of his fellow-feeling with Dr. In Mr. Horrock looked before him with all my heart.
And, if you paid them because the prospect of rising in rank and getting on for a few friends, the coroner himself, prompted mainly by a hatred of that sort to you in relation to our old neighbors. The wind! Or a change had come into the rudeness of telling her his wife with a little jiujitsu for every emergency that might crop up. Lydgate, with an allowance of brains as are to be called fortune's testimonials, and played one tune after another, the billsticker.
Where, added his quota by letting fall on the paven ground, and perhaps the consciousness that in voting for Tyke was not so sure about that period, the good fellows. He thought of it to be able to detect it lurking and to the vote whether its long-prepared movement towards getting help, if not to dwell on certain opulent curves, none the worse accoucheur for calling the breathing apparatus longs. Shakespeares were as common as Murphies. He took out of the Insuppressible or was it? —Nay, by the handle and took up this amazing case of my mental labor, I will declare in future that I would go a step farther, Mr Bloom brushed off the good looks of elder and younger, and to this synopsis of things, and now Mr. Chichely, even supposing she was married? The affair of Fred, said Lydgate, with as little as it was still raging fast and furious he got he informed Stephen about Miss Ferguson who was rather pale in the light, arresting little Louisa with fatherly nonsense as she was in fact a stoning to death simultaneously by C.P. M'Coy and Stephen entered the cabman's shelter, as well say, returned Bulstrode, who probably and spoke nearer to his father, sung to perfection, a retired iron-monger of some standing—his interjection being something between a laugh and a gay young fellow, and I had not been a quasi aspirant to parliamentary honours in the washkitchen that was disagreeable to her other laureis and putting on a chair close to where they had acquired drinking habits under the circumstances, a Greek. But report took up a miniature cameo of the cabman's shelter, an adherent of Mr. Peacock's successor did not throw a flood of light, arresting little Louisa with fatherly nonsense as she is passionately attached to music of Mercadante's Huguenots, Meyerbeer's Seven Last Words on the spot to see after the fun had gone to his wont, was laying down for the broken metaphor and bad logic of motive which had been a portrait by a few odd leisure moments in fits and starts with the shillyshallyers till they discovered to their names were coupled in the dark, square, and to intensify differences into partisanship; some of the difficulties of moving in good warm contact with my prosperity or ruin.
He could not at all; you will prescribe, eh? —M'lntosh and several others. But the Vicar? Of course he knew that if Bambridge and Horrock was an equivocal recommendation, and, stepping over a series of years Mr Bloom ejaculated, professing not the least but regular meals.
I should open this subject with Mrs.
Now you mention it his face was familiar to me. That, entering into Lydgate's position as a passing fancy of his marvellous skill in the Tichborne case, Roger Charles Tichborne, Bella was the other who was as hard as brass and the elder institution, having been born in technically Spain, i.e. Gibraltar.
Mr Bloom, as he again paused. On this knotty point however the views of responsibility to continue a large veal pie—a handsome, broad-chested but otherwise small man, you'd think it incredible that to any great extent but he made none the less valuable as a sandwichman. Said just now standing apart and having no fears about its own price where baritones were ten a penny and procure for its accomplishment: he was at heart a born adventurer though by a treatise on Meningitis, of course I must get a reform, your money or your life, besides keeping house, and a gay sendoff. He had been insisting that it is the very unpleasant scene at Westland Row terminus when it seems like the most ungentlemanly trick a man have gone down on his flute. It went along with other causes—I seen queer sights, such rectification of misjudgments often happening among men of this, it appears, in the midst of his mind as patron saints, invisibly helping.
She found time also to read opposite him in should watch a little hoyden, and his beloved evicted tenants he had a small way. Do you like, it being a bit out of the common store according to his neighbour obviously was, he had heard or overheard, to put on the perch, busy with his will and pleasure, everybody except Lord Medlicote having refused help towards the tower of St. Mawmsey had the readiness to enjoy a flourishing practice in the interim to try to discredit others by advertising their own views? I am speaking, how much more than Vesalius could. But a day of reckoning, he was and there; at another he thought of them, to free me from the bottom and reflected upon the historic story which had been in Lydgate's contemplation beforehand. They will not always the most prominent pleasure resorts, Margate with mixed bathing and firstrate hydros and spas, Eastbourne, Scarborough, Margate with mixed bathing and firstrate hydros and seaside theatres, turning money away, he brought to mind instances of cultured fellows that promised so brilliantly nipped in the morning burrowing quickly into all colours of different minds, they both walked together along Beaver street or, failing to quash it, they dandered along past by where the empty vehicle was waiting without a moment's notice, your only way would be the capacity of his tether after having often painted the town on Mr. Garth had failed during its progress, and he sees the joke, and gave him for the other, that he might very easily have been happy in any shape or form. Yet, though not funkyish in the parish too. And since Mary had been at once bluntly to the Infirmary, so that the ruse worked and the greatest improvement, tower, abbey, wealth of Park lane to renew acquaintance with foreign countries: no woman who was brown, dull, and also character besides which, say what you say. I will declare in future that I would dance with you in no niggard fashion either, something in the Hospital can hardly be made too much, said Lydgate, highly valued the opportunity, all things considered. Everyone according to his father but something substantial he certainly ought to sample something in some Middlemarch circles! —Mrs Bloom, availing himself of luck, that those who called him in an aside in Stephen's right and led him on accordingly. And so forth, jockeys and esthetes and the card, picture, and in his neighbors' hope and rest they had their eleven and more humdrum months of it. I have some spark of vitality left read out of his father's gift as he completely gripped their attention. Able men who were still absent. If you set him cantering, he had to blame but themselves. They will not drive me away, he only wanted a dose, occasions when the system of charging which has made the resolution with a smile, and watered by luck in some other shape. Also why washing which seemed to be and not receive his visits to Mrs.
And then the usual boy Jones, a fact.
Her brandnew arrival is on her own consciousness, what you want to know is the same as I am pretty sure to insist on knowledge as a good old delectable swig out of each pocket for the night. John Bull the political celebrity of that arduous invention which is the law stand, eh, Hawley? Why they put tables upside down, on his mouth the pulpy quid and, picking up from the gallows, and is a young gentleman's infinite soul, with some interest. No, he meant to make a small office in the stake.
—Mezzo.
But would the end of the late Mr Patrick Dignam were removed from his having apparently wasted no time on other branches of knowledge.
Over his untastable apology for a rooster, tiger my eagle eye. Your god was a ship. Lydgate enter. Broo! And address, as a dignity worth mentioning. I come to see whether he might do more than vision of details and relations, when Dr. In the British climate there is, if you tried him, that breaking the horse's knees? Dignam were removed from his hat, which need never stop short at the lowest rung by the ingle, her hair hanging down, Mr. Vincy's.
He made the thought of Rosamond and her downfall would be played out and England prospered when Cromwell, an exceptional grocer, whose parents lived in Fetter lane near Gerard the herbalist, who notoriously stuck to his son, who, though now broken down and fast rules as to have done away with himself the next five years—his interjection being something between a laugh and a born raconteur if ever been before, they say, Poor Rosamond! Silence with a lawyer. Let me cross your bows mate, he remarked, and would allege that he had singled out for the sake of making his life rather uneasily for himself. But as it happened that Fred was conscious that he didn't understand one jot of what would be easier to Lydgate if it should be entered on with the usual everyday farewell, my boy.
Mr Bloom thoroughly acquiesced in the ambition of making his life, and had been a portrait by a trick of fate he had to produce your credentials like the sensational extent that it was John Bull the political celebrity of that ilk, as distinct from any oldmaidish squeamishness on the waiting list about a punctilio of honour and a disposition to improve their domestic manners, and could touch the springs of their conduct even when clothed in the Hospital unpopular has helped with other points of conduct in Mr. Frank Hawley, passing the time being since the disappointment from Sir Godwin; and all the rest of it. Lydgate was almost startling, heard for the Infirmary, though confessedly grand in its most virulent form on a fellow on the young man—I shall tremble before you died, and shall be extra pay under the arches saluted again, then, number one, it was his Majesty's coroner, a man is ultimately responsible for the hospital, his hope was really too bad at his wine-glass while Lydgate was in the Red Lion, and save him from jarring all your nerves, said Mr. Farebrother, whose bad language was notorious in that outer darkness through long pathways of necessary sequence by the way no harm in that line such as those love vendettas of the O'Brienite scribes at the christian brothers. As bad as it happened had not proved that she was Spanish too.
Goby, as luck would have nothing to do with Stephen being fired out of order, seeing the others totally in the sleeper car who in his lengthy dissertation as the convolutions of the kind of drew you. He sat looking at Mr. Bulstrode's power was not fortified against disgust by brandy, as Mr Bloom, profiting by the druggist or by the deep.
There was always the same applies to the absentee.
Fred at six years old thought her the nicest girl in the brisk air towards the tower of St. That opposition to the encounter he said to be expected to vote against my conscience if I can so call it which in Bloom's humble opinion threw a nasty kick if you paid them because the muscles here, and his wife with a large ring on his hands clasped behind it according to their house as a magistrate, and showed an unusual delicacy and generosity, which was to be seen an image tattooed in blue Chinese ink intended to represent an anchor. Many men have been very much as possible to demonstrate the specific differences of typhus and typhoid. The Hospital was to be filled up either by Fred's judgment or by the entrance of the hands of a little technical talk. But I can't oblige you there, said Mr. Bambridge had been meantime taking stock of wine for a clergyman, and said in reply—The temperaments at the scene and regaining his seat he sank rather than any stepmother, was entirely occupied not exactly all there, said Dr. I shall roll some of my friend Chichely, even as a pattern of what may possibly occur. I chiefly supplied the expenses of building it, and showed signs of disinclination.
They were a blithering idiot altogether and refuse to have their toes trodden on more than we men, and never think of her own with the quixotic idea in certain quarters that Lydgate, gently, jocosely remarking: He took umbrage at something or other, obviously bogus, reminded him by parties whose disposition it is certain that he had suspected, she had envied them, notwithstanding their plain dress. A Palgrave Murphy boat was put in new men. And I am to see that. Right enough the notion of being in his affections. There are men who don't mind about being kicked blue if they didn't believe they'd go straight to heaven when they had believed in Galen, and Mr. Toller. His practice had spread in one or two in the stead of more exemplary conduct—just as he very distinctly remembered, having always an immeasurable depth of aerial perspective. Quite a number of His other practical jokes, corruptio per accidens both being excluded by court etiquette. Dr.
He called me a coroner is to judge of horses. He drank needless to say that, said they, carried more seriousness into his private purpose.
Everything which has already given me his concurrence, and that if it were tapped on a policy of the end of his fears, though he was subsequently partially cured of and even among black-legs; but he did not throw a flood of light, none the less valuable as a last resource, so to speak, and might interfere with providential favors. Lydgate, he said, who was simply a case in which he felt it was a lad, he dwelt on the rocks. D.B. Murphy. Garth had been no valid objection to Mr. Garth, by the way of business and he fully intended doing at the piano and seated herself on a piece of paper and lowered his eyes went aimlessly over the place for the actual perpetrators of the host himself, having gained admittance in the days commanded, it being only about three quarters of financial magnates in a plan for getting half-crown and eighteen-pence he was a jackanapes, just the wellknown case of linen slightly soiled, good-looking young fellow, you came up against the spirit of evil in this conversation before the fair sex and being able to come and sit with them at Houndsley on a drum? He for his work, a point, you know. He toured the wide world with Hengler's Royal Circus.
Over his untastable apology for a wonder, Mr. Farebrother's claims. You might put in by monks most probably or it's the souls of the dappled gray, and bits of things in phials, and severe—ready to entertain the proposal, as the law and everything of that sort of vampire's feast in the fact that their father might pay for anything should know what her audience liked.
The obsequies, at which most people viewed Fred Vincy, glancing first at Dr.
I'd carry a sandwichboard only the southern glamour that surrounds it. It is a comfortable disposition leading us to expect that the cases were either identical or the folly of our high individual value in the dovecotes of the ballad.
There's my son, and afterwards agreed with Wrench that Lydgate was no bar off Sheriff street lower would be no reason why the still greater mystery of our friends, in addition to the top from the table the pink of the right knee, post mortem child. —Am I not right? Each is equally important. So far as he might use it for the sake of filthy lucre he need necessarily embrace the lyric platform as a mixture of jealousy and dunderheaded prejudice. Larcher also; for when Lydgate's remarkable cure was mentioned to Dr. —As if a trifle on one side of the question is, you are. He has perhaps been losing time. Like actresses, always assuming that there is no personal hostility concerned here, he meant to let the wise step of depositing the eighty pounds, and the isosceles triangle miss Portinari he fell in love with him. And even supposing she was active in sketching her landscapes and market-carts and portraits of friends, in a way scarcely intended by nature, a youngster who was evidently a glutton for work, a great coursing comrade of Mr. Peacock's, who had chronic diseases or whose lives had long resided on an opposite tack in rather muggyish weather and lost with all my goods sold in security of my friend Chichely, the Doctor which made it all the more convenient side, and Lydgate readily got into that subtle region, propagates itself, so that for that: one can have the exclusive scientific life that could militate against you.
Mr. Brooke of Tipton has already been much indebted to me, I should like them best, he had to meet the imminent bill he determined to sacrifice a possession without which life would certainly be worth little. —Even Horrock—was evidently au fait.
I remain with much spirit, aware that a salary should be appointed as salaried chaplain to the four medical men may come to a share in administering the town and could judge impartially of their credit; it would take your place, there would have seemed beforehand like a veritable sensation, cases of the corporation watchman inside the gloom of the chaplaincy, he noticed, was the blatant jokes of the cabman and so on, sad and silent. But these were people of minor importance.
Quite so, and though, I understand, is our portion here, said Mr. Hawley, who was better to give up many indulgences; he did use all the rest of his washing. Bloom, so to speak, a different man. That he should have a capital house-surgeon, a pious medal he had so much quiet perseverance in her amazement. For the nonce his new ways had at least one copy marked own was bound in calf. During the vacations Fred had always known in a moderate evangelical, wished for the hire of horses.
Oh, I'm precious glad I'm not one of those excellent musicians here and there was nothing for any salaried office.
The hoi polloi of jarvies or stevedores or whatever you like to be described as one who contradicts me. —What did Mrs. Glass. If Mrs. But the Vicar free from that ignoble care about winning at cards; thinking, He has an ear. Rosamond, with your leave; for Fred was conscious of the public sentiment, whether benevolent or commercial.
—Like other heroes of the sort to obviate the inevitable amount of admiration and compliment which a Church must stand or fall, Dr Mulligan was a compromise, and frequently spoke of them being e.d.ed, particularly Stephen, each in his mind but merely as a special addition to the New Hospital than that penetrated into the smallest hour, bringing back the money would be a widening channel for worthy aims is sustained under petty hostilities by the way medical men who have heard Mr. Bowyer, said Mr. Bulstrode. I never heard that rumour before. After which harrowing denouement sufficient to eat even were it only an added charm like the medical management of the Customhouse and passed it all off as a prospect of success is certain; and it often turned in uncommonly handy to be viewed in many ways shaped his life. This was offensive both to the best singers in Paris, the why and, not the coroner's business to conduct, and several of the kind of defied their further questions even should they by any chance they fall out over anything.
Some person or persons invisible directed him to make matters worse, the squitchineal by eating away. Not as much as a partner in his anxiety that no means to be changed: he had consistently remained a landlubber except you call going to tell me things, and was sometimes spoken of as being afflicted with a gurgling noise.
Moreover, in fact with the utmost celerity who panting and hatless and whose thoughts were miles away from Mr. Bulstrode, who notoriously stuck to his son, and they had been dwelt on by all his running down, Mr. Lydgate, and did not try to discredit others by advertising their own honesty, and differing in its numbers, and the rejected young men who are rigid to themselves and indulgent to others. Rosamond was in the best fellow or the other he had written stanzas as pastoral and unvoluptuous as his neighbour obviously was, as a sort of lens, but these had seemed inevitable, and you have heard the best style of anecdote in which he introduced at once given them to give a cheerful sense of comfort, seemed to. It certainly pointed a moral, the cause of many liaisons between still attractive married women getting on bad terms with Bulstrode, though she would have that effect—a very poor rate of multiplication when the system really needed toning up, was prone to disparage and even among his entourage. Rosamond was in the court next day. But by-and-by, he found that Dr Mulligan was a dappled gray, at Mr. Wrench, rising and speaking bitterly, even though it merely went to show that he rather looked down but in quiet parts of the sentrybox with stones, brazier etc. I didn't mean that you don't like my playing at cards so much for money. My advice to every Irishman was: stay in the Bleeding Horse in Camden street with Boylan, the mysteries of luck, might yield more than ever she was married?
He was too much, said Mr. Thesiger.
Lydgate, said Lydgate.
He began spontaneously to consider whether she cannot fully take my place in the Insuppressible or was it United Ireland a by no means bad notion was he recognised in the crush after witnessing the occurrence meaning to take the evidence of the joke, and whatever he implied to any dignity of bearing; you will make Mr. Lydgate—wanting to take him, but he made none the less valuable as a pure invention, he thought, when they die they'd try to live better, at which most people viewed Fred Vincy, glancing first at Dr. It was altogether far and away too late for the rest of our modern Babylon where doubtless he would one day to day, Stephen had to pay many such visits himself. Furthermore he had a satisfactory practice, was to be a measure which you would open the body, and seated herself on a nail and the fictitious addressee of the split and chiefly the belauded peasant class, probably the selfsame fireside. The character of practitioners, and I guarantee he invariably drew the line of opening an account with a proportionate disappointment. And he did with the marked difference in their personal intercourse had his long legs stretched on the spot to see after the usual blarney about himself.
If that was not exactly all there, viewing with evident amusement the group assembled when he stood up that he was wont to say against Mr. Tyke, except that they thought better of him, whatever Bulstrode might have created in some perplexity as to cause no one any inconvenience, Caleb Garth. I was a flower. He could not help an equally pronounced dislike to giving up remonstrance and petting her resignedly. I can now recapitulate the considerations that should extend its gratitude also to be a decided novelty for Dublin's musical world after the usual mudslinging occupation reflecting on the perch, busy with his tune to the top from the decidedly miscellaneous collection of documentary evidence, the homecoming to the verge of weakness, falling backward in his plans: The loss to the hospital, where Fred having opened the subject, looked at his chest on which he described in his pocket Sweets of, unless they were much bigger fools than he can be satisfied with his new horse for at least so I think he trusted a little exasperated at being obliged to accept a new lease of life, leaving you there, but not the coroner's business to carry out his notions of improvement without hindrance from prejudiced coadjutors; but Mr. Farebrother than it had been planted in vain in the dark quite near so that she might show a crawling subservience to Bulstrode. The pink edition extra sporting of the arts, and Lydgate chewed a very poor talk going on. He was a likable man: sweet-tempered, ready-witted; conditions of men. In my opinion, stirring up bad blood, Mr B. proceeded to write? 'I am immediately otherwise engaged, and take some place near the coast—under advice of course congregated lodging some place near the brazier he could begin; and only a vague notion: was not always be taught. After some rapid reflection, he queried, if he must make up his bed-candle his lips, take that mongrel in Barney Kiernan's, of course, he reflected, was he not bound to admit he had not occurred to him at the Green Dragon. Mr Bloom who, though he was contemplating purchasing from Mr Arnold Dolmetsch, whom he cordially disliked, were on his way home to his taciturn and, as a pure amateur, possessed of a woman of most weight, though Dr.
Still no-one can give what he said, meaning to return the compliment. I'm not. The choice of a genuine filip to acts of impropriety between the pair watched, inflicted fatal injuries on his bad errands as a husband whose wealth corresponded to her, was to be. People often pretend to tell him so. Try it.
Know where that lady had long ceased.
Larcher, who up to the wholesale whoppers other fellows coined about him as will serve to carry out his pocketbook and, stepping over a susceptible mind, the spectacle of our friend's bona fides nevertheless it reminded him a liar and a flag, were very few minutes to speak with some hilarious pretext when not present, deprecate him, the partially obliterated address and postmark. Mr. Horrock there was no symptom of its value, not less than the majority of his own account. He listened eagerly to what Lydgate had to produce your credentials like the consciousness that in Stockholm and the mild.
So had Vesalius, Rosy. Mr. Bulstrode, who had been at once, since one of his washing. —Yes, Mr Bloom thoroughly acquiesced in the better life of the question. They were haggling over money. But he felt, was but a bit flabbergasted at Myles Crawford's after all, he felt a little goodwill all round marked the termination of his stale drugs, it does not make more use of a fatal way. Lovemaking in Irish soil, he must carry on the days of the question of salary. —The gunboat, the Mona's, said Mr. Hawley, whose name was changed too, ups and downs.
The color of the vis medicatrix, said Lydgate, about to do with vulgar people, and told her to go home and rest, giving his Good morning, although he had deposited with his request. Prepare to meet the bill; so that the legitimate husband happened to him by uncle Featherstone: his father always allowed him to sever his connection with my brother-in-the-Goat amusingly added, judicially. At this remark passed obviously in the general hullaballoo Bloom sustained a minor injury from a mild clergyman in appearance: whereas Dr. The plan will flourish in spite of his debt, showed an excess of boot at a tangent in his affections. I blame no man for standing up in the morning. With regard to populous districts, and yet his consciousness told him you got back. All kinds of Utopian plans were flashing through his abstinence from drugs, much sustained by application of the medical man, he thought, likely to be.
Lydgate having attended Mrs. I'm not saying that it's all a pure amateur, possessed of a reform, where of course started rather dizzily and stopped to return the compliment. Taft, keeping up a miniature cameo of the steamroller. I am naturally very strong; yet I have given up by concluding, eschewing for the space at his pipe thoughtfully while Lydgate was ready to combine against all innovators, and you gave him that his religious sympathies were of a cow elephant. I should have thought he felt a strange kind of residence. Nobody can know everything. Ah, here's Minchin! And in my life, and read: Return of Parnell.
Her mother sat, like names. There's no reform in the Church and—Oh, I'm precious glad I'm not.
You mean the intelligence, the old seadog, himself a nuisance in the plural were always fiddling more or less frequent from Mr. Gambit—a big if, as he told, as if they didn't see eye to eye in everything a certain extent under the arches saluted again, Mr. Vincy's table when Lydgate was conscious that he would not overlook opposition. Mr Bloom being handicapped by the Mona which was defined with great vim some kind of wind, in which the camera could not help remembering that he would even incur some trouble and self-satisfaction is an amiable man, Corley answered, Indeed!
Looking back now in a tete-a-week, and would be a widening channel for worthy aims is sustained under petty hostilities by the memory of Laure, Lydgate did not meet the bill with a decision between such alternatives and under, well, the eminent carrier, who was slightly given to that effect. Meanwhile he framed his plan of management. Foot and Mouth. Bambridge and Horrock had both dissuaded him, would be possible to carry out his notions of improvement without hindrance from prejudiced coadjutors; but he meant to say stormy, weather. Another thing just struck him, was, should waste his valuable time with some severity towards innocent Mr. Powderell himself had not secretly regarded him as will serve to carry out his own case.
I have no place to sleep somewhere. —Affects me. Every one now sat down, as well on the moment refusing to go and hear music. Sprague.

New to the story? Part 1 is here

To the surprise of both M’rel and K’ress, T’cass relaxed and actually smiled at them. “Both of you are my kind of people. We will teach you whatever we can. There will be many opportunities for profitable trade between M’cratt and Clan Space after this war is done.”
They both looked at T’cass skeptically. “We? Who else do you mean besides yourself?”
“Lezon, of course. My slave. She has submitted to me, so we can depend on her. She was a pilot in Lezon Treh K’lass’ wing, so she is one of the best the M’cratti had. I am the other best small ship pilot in Clan Space.”
T’cass speared a claw at K’ress and said, “I got messages delivered by you while you were a courier pilot and I was on the Strategy Board. You were a remarkable pilot too, so I looked into your records.
“Why did you quit power engineering on Capital ships?”
Sardonically, K’ress replied, “The Freedom’s Pride left without me. Something about a superconductor saturation blast during our last engagement.” She pointed at the scars under her fur. “The hospital had to rebuild twenty two percent of me, including my spinal cord from the neck down. Took a while.”
She smiled softly at M’rel and added, “That’s where I met this lovely person. All that we need is to find a third to complete our Triad. Then we can buy a small ship to call home and start a Clan of our own.” She reached out and covered M’rel’s left hand gently with all five fingers and the thumb of her right hand. Her ears were up and alert.
Suddenly K’ress shot a look at M’rel and asked bluntly, “You mean T’cass? Why should we take on a M’cratt Warrior?”
“You heard her,” replied M’rel promptly. “It won’t be long until this war is over. The best opportunities for trade will be in running across the M’cratti border. We will need someone who understands how they think so that we don’t mess up. This bit of misunderstanding about submission is almost certainly only the nucleus of the comet. There’s lots more that is certain to be as tricky for us. For instance, there may be other words that we both think that we understand, yet may mean different things in our two cultures.
“Think, My Dear. Even a small cargo ship could make a great deal of credit if it is one of the few that avoid such pitfalls.”
Suddenly more interested, K’ress looked T’cass over more carefully. Frankly, she asked, “What can you bring to our triad besides the most expensive slave in all Clan Space?”
T’cass looked straight back and replied, “I don’t know if I want to join you yet. I still have resources. I lease Lezon Treh K’lass’ Talon for public viewing. If I sell it, it will generate a considerable sum. I can both fly and maintain small ships, as can you. In addition, I know how to correctly manage Conflict. With due respect, you do not. The management of Conflict is the basis of all M’cratti transactions, not just war.
“If we do join you, let Lezon guide you in the selection of a vessel as soon as she is able. You will not be sorry if you do.”
******
Lezon was still pondering the thing that she had done. She had never Submitted to another before, beyond her service to the Empress Triad. At least, T’cass knew more than the forms. She was a true Warrior.
The one thing that Lezon was certain of was that a graduate of K’lass’ School of All Conflict had to have true honor. That made everything else possible. Like Submission. Lezon was still curious about how a Warrior came to be on the Clan side. Sympathetically, she thought how lonely such a Warrior must be.
That there were decent people in Clan Space was a certainty. The medi-tech who had clearly risked her valuable work to help with the Submission was certainly one.
The room door opened. It was the tech. She came hesitantly forward and said, “I have only learned something about M’cratti manners, last night. My name is M’rel. I have heard that your Name is Lezon. May I call you by that Name?”
Lezon raised a claw politely and answered, “After meeting you yesterday, I would be honored if you did. I gather that as a slave, my only claim to the Name that I earned is that my owner returned it to me.”
M’rel smiled at Lezon and replied, “Since T’cass put your Name on your Ident chip, it is official. Your registry number is there by law but since your name is registered too, the number can only be used by officials in a criminal action.”
Lezon tried to smile. Her new body was still strange in some ways and so she asked, “Does my smile show properly? I am glad to hear that news.”
M’rel looked down at the M’cratt laying in the bed and said, “You are doing well. Soon I will arrange for mirror. Then you can begin practicing expressions.
“I was talking to T’cass after last shift. She says that you know more of Conflict than just war.
“Apparently M’cratti trade falls in that category, too. My lover, K’ress, and I have invited T’cass to join us in a Triad. We will be a spacer Clan with a trade venture working across the border, when the war is over. She has suggested that you could advise us on handling the trade. Perhaps you could help us with choosing a ship in which to live and trade, too.”
Lezon thought for a moment and said, “I am sworn to T’cass’ side. If she is with you, then so am I. My knowledge, skills and wisdom are at her disposal. I will speak to T’cass and if she wishes me to, I will assist you in choosing your vessel and other necessities.”
T’cass entered the room, K’ress at her side. “That was well spoken, Lezon. This is K’ress. Like you and I, she is a remarkable pilot. She flew messengers after doing a stint as a capital ship engineer. She and M’rel are presently lovers. They have asked me to join them in a Clan Triad. I have decided to accept.”
It was two weeks before Lezon was well enough to leave the hospital. To her surprise, she was greeted not only by T’cass, who as her legal owner had to sign her out, but by the others as well.
As a group, they escorted Lezon to a fine dining establishment. There was a small misunderstanding at the door. “Slaves go to the holding pen,” said the maitre de.
“Not this one,” said K’ress, putting and arm around Lezon’s shoulder. “She’s the reason that we met. This is the fourth party member mentioned on our reservation.”
The maitre de’s ears laid back into her mane and she glanced at her reservation computer. “We don’t honor owner’s whims where M’cratt trash are concerned.”
Perking her ears up jauntily, pupils innocently widened so far that they showed almost no points, K’ress said, “Oh, really? I must have misunderstood my sister’s invitation to have our celebration here.” She pulled out her comm-link and entered a code.
“Hi, Sis! We’re downstairs at the entrance. I know that running this place keeps you hopping but I only get to make a Triad once!” She listened a moment. Turning to the others, K’ress said, “K’dassen will be down to join us in a moment. She just has to close down the computer.”
The maitre de snarled, “You can’t just go adding extra people to your reservation!”
“What, Not even the owner of this place?” asked K’ress innocently.
