#this is hands down the most insane script ive read i was sitting slack jawed half the time #not because its Outrageous but because. oh my fucking God #frank sure does have too much influence over *gestures broadly* This.#to see their dysfunction presented like this. is. so.#like. of course the reason they cant be nice to each other is because they all expect some kind of Trick. we see this again in s12 #they've set a precedent where everyone is unable to be vulnerable out of fear that someone else is going to take advantage of them #its about knowing to Never let their guard down. because they can't afford to be stupid enough to think someone was being nice #its literally about them not trusting each other. they know each other. care about each other. but they're all still at war with each other #anything could be a trojan horse #and even when they try to do something thoughtful it's ruined bc their motives are being questioned and that provokes a defense #''of course i wasn't being Nice that's stupid why would i ever do that for you'' because otherwise theyre leaving themselves open to attack #i think this episode works purely because theyre All trying to change this at once and since theyre all aware of that fact #its like oh okay youre not fucking with me because we've established we're all trying not to be cynical #i cannot even begin to dig into the pure autism of this entire. not even just the episode premise. the whole basis of the gang's dynamic.#like yeah of course a group of weird neurodivergent people is hypersensitive to this #its the same thing as mac and dennis in suburbs questioning wally's intentions/demeanor welcoming them to the neighbourhood #literally in defense mode all the time because they expect the worst from people and they haven't had any reason to think otherwise #marder and rosell get it but thats not exactly new and surprising <3 #but wow this script adds so much. at least for me.#iasip #it's always sunny in philadelphia #ada speaks #character meta #for good measure

Susie X Wally is one of those Bendy ships I'm STILL super mad didn't catch on considering I've shipped it ever since Chapter 2 was released and I think it's one of the cutest/most compelling ones out there.

The playful, kind, but not always smart janitor falls in love with one of the stars of the show. Their female lead, this stunning actress he only sees through the glass of her recording room. She's always so good to him when they do interact and it only makes her being so far hurt that much more. He's scrubbing the floors while she's up on level 9 singing with a voice that melts his heart.

She's above him, up in the heavens, this flawless angel and he's just a guy working to survive down on Earth. Is it wrong to want to see her come down so he could kiss her? One kiss, for him to hold onto forever, it's so small, so simple, and yet it's too silly of a need to ever voice, isn't it? Why would she ever want to kiss him? She's angelic, a goddess, and with no riches or anything to his name he can give, how could he ever find a gift worthy of her?

Meanwhile, Susie has always loved Wally's company; he makes her laugh and is so sweet. She doesn't think Sammy should be so hard on him. Sure, he's not always clever, but his heart's always in the right place… He's always doing what he thinks is right despite his humble status as the janitor, and perhaps that makes him a far better person than she is… She's supposed to be this angel, Alice Angel, but she wasn't good enough for the job, Joey convinced her of that despite all her efforts to keep him out.

She wasn't perfect, and how could she ever admit that to anyone? How could Wally ever love her when what he loved was that image of perfection she used to hold up? She doesn't think he could ever love her for her inner beauty, for her passionate and sweet nature. How could she ever think he loved her when she couldn't even love herself? She was ugly, inside and out.

Then this story of an Actress and Janitor turns into one about an Angel and Wolf.

The Angel hunting down the Wolf to make herself beautiful.

The Wolf cannot tell her all the thoughts swimming in his head. His voice has been stolen from him and all he can think about is how the Angel was always beautiful. How she is beautiful; Joey was wrong, and everyone who told her she wasn't enough was wrong.

But Susie is so far away, and the Angel is all that remains of her now. All he wants to tell her is that he never cared for the image of perfection that Susie struggled against. The image of perfection that's consumed her. He wants to tell her his name, but Wally is drowning in an inky abyss and the Wolf is the form he takes now. He must play by its rules, no matter how much he wants to speak to her. He's been assigned his role in this sick and twisted story… They both were, and they cannot escape them now.

The Angel guts him all while telling him how pretty he will make her, how she will be perfect, and prove to Joey he was wrong. She wants to be perfect so that she can deserve the love of her fans, can deserve the love she wanted from Wally.

She's blind to the fact she always had the janitor's affection, just a few feet below her balcony it was hidden in his heart, and he didn't love the Angel… He loved Susie.

But Susie is so far away, and the Angel is all that remains of her now.

If only he had brought her down from Heaven as he yearned to; holding her gently in his arms as if she were made of glass, so delicate. How could he have known at the time someone would push her down from cloud nine and send her spiraling down to Earth?

Where she shattered from the realization of how human she is.

Perhaps all the time he spent putting her on such a pedestal did nothing but lengthen the time she would spend falling…

Maybe the reason he's only thinking of this now is because soon he won't be able to think at all.

Being strapped to a table doesn't let you do much else besides think after all…

The Dragon Prince season 2, episodes 5 & 6, my beloveds. Gotta be two of my absolute favorite episodes in the season.

#the only episodes i dont really care for are 1 and 2 but i do like all the others #but i really think i love 5 and 6 the most. or at least tied with episodes 7-9. the moral discussions and glimpse at more of how the adult #characters were when they were still alive was so great. especially for sarai and harrow. absolutely can see where ez and callum get a lot #of their morals and good character from.#but again i mostly adore the moral discussions and lessons. theyre so good. definitely make the episodes for me #i may have aquaphobia too but some of my fave episodes of s2 still kinda took place on a boat #also loved episodes 3 and 4 of s2 too. just not quiiite as much as the later episodes. even if i will forever adore the 'good' scene #its such a good sweet scene. and clearly stuck with rayla if she remembered it during her flashback in s5 #anyway not important for the post #i just so love these episodes of s2 man #tdp #dragon lady letters

migi n dali just keeps getting better. ep 10 was crazyyyyy i was on the edge of my seat the entire time, and if i wasnt it was just so sweet or hilarious. this show is the perfect blend of emotions honestly.

every so often i get a horrible little thought in my head that says but what if you DID adapt all of toh season one into your daemon au.

and every time i beat that god damned thought back with a stick. but do know there IS a section in my notes document that is me REALLY wanting to adapt a few s1 episodes dkjgdfg.

bc like. i made the right choice. the stuff i was/am still most excited to write is all s2 + s3 stuff--but like. agony of a witch? young blood old souls? the intruder?!

it would be me writing like 250k more words of entirely setup but that doesnt mean i dont think about it!
