I love all of the Primarch children content people make, especially the discussions about how potentially horrific the pregnancy would be for the baseline mother, and I wanted add my own little spin on it. So here's the pitch:

What if they weren't perfect? What if, instead of superhuman demigods like their father - or even a normal, healthy baseline like their mother - the Primarch’s child is a weak and sickly little thing; the natural gestation process having been unable to properly compensate for the extraordinary weirdness that is Primarch genes?

'Cause, they were made in a lab, right? With each gene painstakingly implemented and worked to compensate for oneanother in order to create a viable being. So, what if without outside intervention their genes just can't healthily gel with a baseline's?

So, what the couple had thought was the baby sapping their mother of her vital nutrients to fuel a Primarch's level of growth and strength was actually their baby fighting tooth and nail to develope at all. And even after having taken such a steep toll on their mother's health, the child still comes out small and underdeveloped, barely clinging to life.

That's it, that's the idea. Primarchs with chronically ill and disabled children because of their fucked up genes. Send tweet.

Hey, I've been rereading and reading Perseverance and the swap Au, and I was wondering how they would react to each other? How would everyone react to this person that looks like Ink, acts a bit like Ink, but clearly isn't Ink? and how would swap Ink talk to Reg Ink about the beasts?

H m m. That is a good question! I admit, I haven't thought it out much because it would... break the world lmao. B u t, I think people would have unique reactions to Swap Ink XD

I think Dream would be like... a well-meaning, but very confused older brother. Like he'd know this Ink was not his Ink, but would keep accidentally referring to him like his actual younger brother lmao. That goes for the rest of Ink's adoptive family and probably Asgore by extension

His friends, like Boris, Blue, Ollie, etc., they'd just be... confused. Like, okay, there's two Inks now. Dr. Gaster would probably... be very intrigued why this new Ink has a tail and odd animal-like legs lol

Error would be funny lol. At first, he'd be like Ink's other friends like "Okay, what the hell, there are two Inks now-" but upon talking to Swap Ink, he might notice the similarities, but ultimately, after like two minutes, be like, "Okay, that's definitely not my Ink-" Depending on where this takes place in the story, he either would not notice the possessive modifier at all or proceed to have a mental breakdown about it (Error would also have a field day with Swap Error. The both of them going at each other relentlessly-)

I think Swap Ink and Ink might have an actually wholesome relationship! Ink would be like, "O o o h, you're another Ink? Wow, that's neat! That's my name too! Hi, how are you, other Ink? :D" And Swap Ink's just... silently judging him lmao Swap Ink would obviously talk about the Beasts with more familiarity since he's... more familiar with them lmao. He might be trying to tell Ink ways how to kill them, deal with them, etc. and Ink's just staring at him with a disturbed look like, "Y e a h, if I can avoid actually fighting those things at all, I'm going to do that-"

But yeee! I really haven't thought a whole lot about how they would all interact together, but these are a few highlights I suppose!

Sirius gets a bunch of various lethal presents from his family post-Prank, and each one is a message of “just do the killing yourself.” Bella sent a cursed set of knives that cause agony to whoever they’re used on, Narcissa sent along a bunch of poisons, Andromeda sent along some kind of enchanted communication method so she can alibi him out as well as more enchanted knives but these always hit the target, Regulus handed him a hand of glory after class one day and Sirius really wants to know why Regulus even had this thing (he stares at his brother for a couple seconds before just shrugging and thanking Regulus, and telling Regulus that he’ll let the Slytherin team win the Quidditch game this weekend as a thank you and Regulus very nearly beats his brother with that Hand of Glory because Slytherin doesn’t need victories just handed to them and they win on their own; Sirius raises an eyebrow and hums under his breath, and Regulus has to leave before he commits fratricide), and even their parents get in on the murder presents, sending on a bunch of Dark books that may not be banned but that’s more likely because nobody remembered they existed than anything else. The Marauders are sitting at the breakfast table, looking at these murder gifts Sirius just received with his mail, and none of them have a clue what to say, there’s no rule book for “your best friend’s bizarre and homicidal family just sent him a bunch of murder methods, right in front of your breakfast.” It’s totally silent at that part of the Gryffindor table, all of them staring at the gifts (aside from Sirius, who’s focusing on Narcissa’s letter that details the different poisons she sent)

sksksks imagining sirius dealing with the disappointment of not just his friends (which like, only really means remus lbr) but also his family.

the only difference (and quite a big one too) is that the former is because he tried to kill someone and the latter is because he didnt do it properly. which is obviously the bigger problem here. the blacks have got their priorities straight.

so, sirius is stuck in the middle juggling to diametrically opposing judgements. no wonder poor guy was so tortured. literally being pulled in two directions.

gah i need to ramble. i dont know how itd work/how to not make it push things too far/itd be useless anyway since akira knows 0 about fighting/does noooot have the stamina most ppl who end up fighting does<3, but taking the whole "can help oz use magic at night" into a buffer concept.......cuz i dont find a way to use that stuff/the sages book/etc in aus enough T_T something something when akira forms bonds with ppl............. so i was like "ig their evol could be something where i can work around it into that" BUT I DONT WANT THEM TO HAVE ONE........my normal little guy............who somehow can enhance u should the need come......

BUT it means i end up thinking about the time oz killed someone in front of akira. cuz it was at night/dawn.
