ooh this is a good one! it's a classic miscommunication trope- ronon finds out john and rodney are together and gets pissed off (for reasons unknown) and john assumes its cause theyre gay and gets pissed off and they act dumb until rodney and teyla scheme and make them get their shit together and talk like adults (this one is almost finished and im gonna post it soon so i dont wanna post spoilers but it has a happy ending i promise)

“Are you two together?” Ronon asked in a cold, harsh tone. John took a step back- he never would have imagined Ronon would react like this, and he suddenly felt protective of Rodney. Since coming to Pegasus, the dangers they faced were from space vampires and crazy societies hell bent on nuclear domination; he had almost forgotten about dealing with petty issues like bigoted beliefs. Would he suddenly have to deal with a homophobic team member? Sheppard glared back at Ronon.  

“Yeah. We are. Is that going to be a problem for you?” John needed to ask, but he really, really didn’t want to hear the answer- especially since he had a sinking feeling he knew what the answer was going to be. Ronon narrowed his eyes at John, and took a few steps closer, towering over him. John hardened his glare.  

“I’m not the one with the problem.” Ronon growled, and with a final glare at Rodney still sleeping, he turned and stalked away.

basically i got caught up thinking about my macen pt and who he's going to romance. bc really his ideal romance would be lucanis, but as a shadow dragon i'm going to be saving minrathous so that's off the table. which really only leaves harding, neve, taash, and bellara as new, unplayed romances.

bellara is off the table because i'm giving her a butch to kiss later, and frankly taash is off the table because i just dont want to romance them. which leaves neve and harding and... i don't know if macen and harding will have chemistry, if i'm honest.

and then i thought, fuck, he'd probably get along with davrin though. am i fucking up by romancing davrin with corentin, should i leave him as an option for macen. but then. then. i thought about how neve is a beautiful woman that i should be grateful to even have a chance with, and that apparently neve is the most emotionally constipated person in the world. and maybe it'd be really funny to pair her with the uncontested King of Emotional Repression, macen mercar,

literally had to quit out of veilguard because i had a crisis of faith on the corentin davrinmance but we fixed it. we worked it out. daventin is still a go.

Thinking about how the 1941 minisode really sets the stage for the following two episodes. It establishes the mutual trust between them. It establishes Aziraphale finally coming to terms with calling Crowley friend. It establishes Aziraphale as someone who is capable of deceit under pressure and, frankly, as someone who works better under it. It nods at the idea of Crowley's angelic status being potentially returned and rejects the idea in the same sweep with Aziraphale's failure to turn a turnip into an inkwell. It even presents the whole crux of the way Aziraphale and Crowley interact as summarized by the aim for my mouth but shoot past my ear thing. And then there's the whole shades of gray conversation.

There's something interesting in that conversation in particular I wanna draw attention to specifically because. Look what happens in the conversation after they have discussed Aziraphale's magic and verbalized the trust Crowley has in Aziraphale.

Doesn't it sound familiar?

It sounds a lot like the least charitable takes on Aziraphale's actions at the end of this season doesn't it? But Crowley rejects the idea pretty much immediately. Saying nah, that's the trouble with you lot. You see something and think it's black or white. He presents the idea, just as he has in all three minisodes, that sometimes the edges need to get blurry.

And Aziraphale agrees. He out loud starts speaking of gray areas in morality and how Crowley's right here. It once again emphasizes this idea that all three minisodes have gone out of their way to emphasize - that Aziraphale is capable of growth and change and most importantly of stepping into that middle space, knowing sometimes it is the right thing to do.

The fact that this blunt verbalization of the lessons of all three minisodes happens right after Aziraphale muses about a potential scenario where someone leaves tells us a lot about Aziraphale's actions in the end. It's drawing stark attention to them and tying those concepts directly together. It doesn't matter which theory you favor either - whether Az is lying to Crowley in the end or acting to protect him or doing what he thinks is right - it doesn't matter because they are all morally complex choices. They all exist in the gray spaces and Aziraphale knows it and that's such a fascinating angle to consider with his decision making here.
