why does every single surface npc in skyward sword use male pronouns

like yes the goron have bested gender and dont care about that so they default to male pronouns for ease. they're born from rocks. bam. they're all brothers. and the gorons we meet in skyward sword care more about investigation or whatnot so they're like yeah yeah just use he/him. wanna hear about the legends of old?

and kikwi just Spawn from a bush or something probably. they dont even know what gender is. link and fi default to using male pronouns for them but like. you ask them what their pronouns are and they're like. pronouns? what's a pronouns? is that like another type of zelda...? kwee...

It is a major whiplash to be looking through the hank and Connor tag (like, no implied relationship, just the two) and see one post about how cute of a father son relationship they have, all their cute familial moments

And then right underneath it, there is legit an animation of the two making out sloppy style XD

This isn't an attack in any of the hank and Connor interpretation. I prefer father/son, that's my favourite interpretation and what I prefer in my own, personal taste

But I don't mind the ship, I'm not for or against it. You do you boo. I've had problems with some, but only those who treat Connor like a child and have a clear father son situation, but then make them kiss lmao

And even then, people, for the most part, don't do that disservice to connor XD (even father/son, i don't like people treating connor like a child, he's young, but also a full grown man lmao)

Edit: I just wanna clear up something. Yes, do tag properly, everyone! But my post was just talking about the general #hank and Connor tag, I was legit just scrolling through that tag cuz it was recommended to me and I was looking for a post I found interesting, but I just thought the large difference in posting on the general tag was funny 🥲

I did some miscellaneous doodles for the There's A Place For Us AU because these doofuses live in my head rent free thanks to my own doing. I should get around to drawing more of the kiddos too but I will admit I have a weak spot for the OG siblings. One day I'll figure out Sukuna's tattoos so help me, even if drawing chrysanthemums will be a hell of my own making.

Half of this was me trying to figure out how to draw them at certain/younger ages and the other half was me trying to figure out which features to shift because of different genetics and showing where they look similar, etc. I'm still feeling the latter out so don't look too closely lmao. They're supposed to be freaks of nature anyway <3 (except for Panda, he's just the baby and a carbon copy of Masamichi)

Hear me out okay-

(Going with mcu Steven cuz i like him a bit more than comics Steven and also we don't really know anything about him in rivals yet I think, so-)

The team had a long and difficult mission. The strategists are patching up their allies.

Adam is currently tending to Marc's wounds. Dude starts to sorta dissociate half way through- it was a long day and the mission wasn't easy.

Enter Steven! I honestly think he'd get along well with Adam. I also think Adam would find him nice and fun to talk to. They'd be incredibly awkward at the start, at least Steven, but I feel like they'd become friends pretty fast.

Also I like the idea of it like. Becoming a thing- after missions, Steven and Adam just chatting.

Anyway that is all.

Is it geologically probable for swallows rest to have basalt cliffs? Not really. Am i gonna headcanon it anyway? Of course.

Because I can picture Adrian and Victor walking along the beach, spending time waiting for lord vane to arrive. When all of a sudden Adrian comes to a dead stop in the middle of a sentence, staring at something ahead of them. Then he gasps, and gets so excited he forgets where he is, who he's with, and the collar around his neck, as he starts excitedly slapping Victor in the arm going, "Look, look, look, look--" at top speed.

Victor, who was primed for some kind of emergency since Adrian stopped talking is looking around frantically like, "What, what happened???"

Only for Adrian to point ahead and whisper-yell, "Basalt cliffs!!" And start booking it across the beach.

And yeah, maybe it painfully reminds Victor a lot of his younger self, and he's just about ready to remind Adrian of his manners as a priest, but then Adrian turns around to see if hes coming and the smile on his face is the most animated hes seen Adrian since he met him. And when he catches up he gets treated to a long winded ramble about crystal structure and volcanic activity and geologic hotspots and the Implications and how they could easily be the most ancient part of the island and erosion wear patterns and hes always wanted to see these in person cause they have them in northern ireland and and-- Its the most he's ever heard Adrian talk in one sitting.

And he supposes that having an appreciation for the wonders of the world that God made is perfectly acceptable for their profession, and lets him talk as long as likes.

How it feels seeing Gotham try to make me empathize with Harvey bullock multiple times when in episode two of SEASON ONE he literally threatens to beat a black teenager for not confessing and then justifies it by him not really meaning it and the kid being big enough to defend himself. Gotham ur not gonna make me have sympathy for your average milk toast corrupt cop who never gets better I'm sorry
