— Star Athlete!vi and Band!reader
You’ve spent most of your high school life flying under the radar as the band’s flute player—quiet, responsible, and perfectly content in your niche. Your days revolve around early-morning rehearsals, sheet music, and the steady rhythm of practice. It’s predictable, comfortable.
That is, until the school’s star athlete, Vi, always in whispers and cheers, bursts into your life like an unrelenting storm.
Shes everything you’re not—loud, brash, impulsive, and dangerously confident. The type who winks at the crowd after scoring the winning goal, whose swagger fills the halls, and who’s constantly making headlines for their fiery outbursts on and off the field. You’ve heard the stories: the scuffle at last week’s game, the heated argument with the coach, the rumors of detention slips piling up.
You’d barely exchanged more than a few words with her, but that changes when the school decides to host a collaborative pep rally—complete with a showstopping performance featuring both the sports teams and the band.
When the coach volunteers them to help promote school spirit by playing a surprise number with the band, you’re horrified. So is she.
“I don’t have time for this,” she scoff when she gets dragged to the band room. “Why don’t you all just play louder or something?”
Your teacher assigns you the unenviable task of teaching them how to play an instrument. You can practically hear your friends giggling behind your back as you pull them aside, thrusting a trumpet into their hands.
Vi groans, slouching in her chair like a bored kid in detention. “What’s the point of this? Everyone’s here to watch me win, not play this stupid thing.”
You bristle at their cocky tone. “Well, if you don’t want to embarrass yourself in front of the entire school, I suggest you try.”
VI then gives you a smirk, leaning in just a little too close. “Oh, you think I can’t do it? I’m good at everything.”
It turns out, she's not.
The first few lessons are a disaster. She blow into the trumpet like she's trying to blow out a candle from across the room, their fingers fumble over the valves, and she keep snapping, “This thing is broken!” every time it makes a screeching noise.
But underneath all the bravado and eye-rolls, you start to notice something. The way she glares at the trumpet when she messes up isn’t just frustration—it’s determination. she hates failing, and she hates it even more that they’re bad at this.
“I’m not giving up,” Vi declares after her third failed attempt to hit a note. “I’m not letting some dumb piece of metal beat me.”
The more you work together, the more cracks appear in their tough exterior. she's fiercely competitive, yes, but also surprisingly quick to laugh at themselves when the trumpet sputters out the wrong notes. Her cocky grin softens when you praise even her smallest improvement, and she starts showing up to practice earlier than you do.
One afternoon, as you’re packing up your sheet music, you catch them staring at the band photo on the wall. “You guys practice this much all the time?” Vi asked, her voice uncharacteristically quiet.
“Yeah,” you say, surprised. “It’s a lot of work, but it’s worth it.”
she nod slowly, her usual swagger replaced by something contemplative. “Never thought about it like that. I guess… it’s kind of like training, huh?”
That’s when you realize she's not as invincible as she seem. Behind the hot-headed confidence is someone who works just as hard as you do, who’s just as passionate about what they love—even if they show it in a completely different way.
And when the pep rally finally arrives, with the gym packed to the rafters, she surprise's everyone—not just with how she learned to play, but with how she step aside during the performance to let the band take the spotlight.
Afterward, as the crowd cheers, she give you a lopsided grin. “Not bad, huh? Guess I’m pretty good at this whole teamwork thing.”
You roll your eyes, but you can’t hide your smile.
The pep rally is over, and the gym is buzzing with energy as people file out, still cheering and talking about the unexpected performance. You’re gathering your things in the corner of the stage when you hear footsteps behind you.
“Hey,” she calls out, her voice softer than you’re used to.
You turn to find her standing there, holding her trumpet in one hand, the other rubbing awkwardly at the back of her neck. For once, her usual cocky smirk is nowhere to be seen, replaced by an expression that’s… almost nervous.
“Uh, so… you were pretty great out there,” she says, her eyes flickering between yours and the floor. “I mean, you’re always great, but, like, today—you really killed it.”
You blink, caught off guard by the compliment. “Thanks. You were pretty great too. You didn’t even mess up the solo.”
She laughs, a warm, genuine sound that makes your chest flutter. “Yeah, well, I had a good teacher. Guess I owe you for that.”
You shrug, trying to play it cool. “Maybe. But you did the work. I’m impressed, actually. Didn’t think you’d take it so seriously.”
She steps a little closer, her usual confidence creeping back into her voice. “Yeah? So, I impressed you?”
Your face heats up, and you roll your eyes to hide it. “Don’t let it go to your head.”
“Too late,” she teases, but her grin softens as her gaze lingers on you. For a moment, neither of you says anything. The noise of the gym fades into the background, and all you can hear is the faint hum of your own heartbeat.
She looks down at the trumpet in her hand, turning it over like she’s stalling. “You know… I used to think band stuff was just… background noise. Like, nobody really notices it. But being up there, seeing how much you guys put into it…”
Her voice trails off, and when she looks back at you, there’s something in her eyes that makes it hard to breathe. “It made me notice you more.”
Your breath catches. “Me?”
“Yeah.” She takes another step closer, so close now that you can feel the warmth radiating off her. “You’re not just some quiet band geek who hangs out in the background. You’re… amazing. And I’ve been an idiot for not seeing it sooner.”
You open your mouth to reply, but the words get stuck in your throat. She’s staring at you like you’re the only person in the world, and for the first time, you don’t feel small or invisible. You feel seen.
“I know I’ve been kind of… impossible,” she continues, her voice dropping lower. “But I don’t want to screw this up. So if I asked you to, I don’t know, grab milkshakes or something sometime… what would you say?”
You bite your lip, trying to suppress a smile. “I’d say… as long as you don’t try to play the trumpet during the date, I might say yes.”
Her laugh is loud and bright, and before you know it, she’s grinning down at you. “Deal.”
The gym lights flicker as the janitor starts cleaning up, and you realize you’ve been standing there for what feels like forever. But as she walks you out, her shoulder brushing against yours, you can’t help but think that maybe this impulsive, hot-headed star athlete isn’t so bad after all.

— Childhood Bestfriend!caitlyn
You and Caitlyn were inseparable once, two halves of the same whole. Summers were spent running through sun-drenched fields, plotting grand adventures, and swearing eternal friendship under the stars. But that was years ago, before her family moved away to chase bigger opportunities, and you were left behind with only memories of her bright laugh and unshakable confidence.
Life moved on, and so did you. By high school, she’d become little more than a bittersweet memory. Until now.
When she walks into your homeroom on the first day of senior year, it feels like the air’s been knocked out of you. She’s taller now, with an effortless grace that makes the room go quiet. Her uniform looks somehow sharper on her, her long, dark hair falling in perfect waves. There’s something in the way she carries herself—poised and self-assured, like she owns the world—and maybe she does.
Her family name has become a symbol of power and wealth. She’s been in the headlines, her achievements as a youth advocate already earning her a reputation as a fierce voice for justice. And yet, when her gaze scans the room and lands on you, her face lights up with the same brilliant smile you remember from childhood.
“Hey,” she says as she slides into the empty seat beside you, her voice low and familiar. “Long time no see.”
You’re too stunned to do anything but nod.
You quickly learn that she’s not just here for nostalgia—she’s here with a purpose. Between rigorous AP classes, she’s working on a project to bring awareness to systemic issues in your town. Meetings, interviews, and late nights at the library seem to be her norm, and it doesn’t take long for her to rope you into helping.
At first, it feels surreal being around her again. The girl you once knew has grown into someone so driven, so ambitious, that it’s almost intimidating. She seems untouchable, like a shooting star too far away to reach.
But every now and then, the cracks in her polished armor show. When it’s just the two of you poring over notes at your kitchen table, she leans back with a sigh and pulls her hair into a ponytail, muttering about how she wishes she had more time to breathe. And when you laugh at her frustrations, she throws a crumpled piece of paper at you, her grin wide and mischievous.
“You haven’t changed a bit,” she says one evening, her eyes soft as they meet yours. “Still the only person who can make me laugh when I want to scream.”
It’s during one of these late-night sessions that the air between you shifts. You’re sitting on the floor of her family’s impossibly grand living room, surrounded by papers and laptops. She’s wearing a sweatshirt that’s too big for her, a far cry from the polished image she presents to the world, and you can’t help but think about how beautiful she looks like this—unguarded and real.
“You’ve been quiet tonight,” she says, tilting her head to look at you. “What’s on your mind?”
“Nothing,” you lie, your heart racing under her gaze.
She raises an eyebrow, leaning closer. “I’ve known you long enough to know when you’re lying.”
You hesitate, your pulse hammering in your ears. “It’s just… I can’t believe you’re here. That after all these years, we’re… us again.”
Her expression softens, and she shifts closer until your knees are almost touching. “I’ve missed you too, you know,” she says quietly. “It’s been so hard, being away from everything I used to care about. From you.”
Her words hang in the air, heavy and electric. You want to say something—anything—but the way she’s looking at you steals the breath from your lungs. Her dark eyes search yours, and for a moment, the world seems to still.
“Do you ever think about those nights we spent under the stars?” she asks, her voice barely above a whisper.
You nod, swallowing hard. “All the time.”
“I do too,” she admits, her hand reaching out to brush against yours. Her touch is warm, grounding, and yet it sends a jolt through you. “Back then, I always thought we’d have forever. And when I left, I realized how much I hated being wrong about that.”
You’re not sure who moves first, but suddenly the space between you disappears. Her hand lingers on yours, her thumb tracing gentle circles against your skin, and you’re acutely aware of how close her face is to yours.
“Tell me if this is okay,” she murmurs, her voice trembling just slightly.
You nod, barely able to speak. “It’s more than okay.”
And then her lips are on yours, soft and hesitant at first, like she’s afraid you’ll pull away. But you don’t. You lean into her, your hand sliding up to tangle in her hair, and the kiss deepens—sweet and full of years’ worth of unspoken feelings.
When you finally pull back, she rests her forehead against yours, a breathless smile on her lips. “I’ve waited so long to do that,” she says, her voice tinged with relief.
“Me too,” you whisper, your heart soaring.
As the night stretches on, you realize that the girl you thought you’d lost has come back into your life, not as the same person she once was, but as someone even more extraordinary. And for the first time in years, the future doesn’t feel so uncertain—it feels full of possibilities, with her by your side.

— New kid!jinx and Class president!reader
You’ve worked hard to get where you are. Every meeting attended, every speech prepared, every carefully crafted decision—it’s all been for the sake of keeping order in the chaos of your high school. As class president, your name carries weight. You’re the dependable one, the one who keeps everything running smoothly, the one who always has things under control.
Until Jinx shows up.
The whispers start on her first day. The new girl. The one who doesn’t seem to care about blending in. She strides into the building like she owns it, her uniform already disheveled, her blazer slung over her shoulder, and a wild grin on her face.
It doesn’t take long for her reputation to spread. She’s unpredictable, impulsive, and utterly magnetic. Within a week, she’s already broken half the school’s rules, talked her way out of three detentions, and somehow charmed half your classmates in the process.
And for some reason, she’s decided you’re her favorite target.
It happens during lunch. You’re sitting at your usual spot, surrounded by student council members, going over plans for the upcoming fundraiser when she walks up to your table.
“Class president,” she says, her voice dripping with mockery and something else you can’t quite place. “Mind if I join you?”
You glance up, already annoyed. “I’m busy.”
She smirks, pulling out a chair anyway. “That’s cute. You think I was asking.”
Your friends exchange uneasy glances, but she doesn’t seem to care. She leans back in the chair, her sharp pink eyes locked on you, as if she’s trying to unravel you with her gaze alone.
“You’ve got a real stick-up-your-ass vibe,” she says casually, plucking an apple from the tray in front of her. “I like that. It makes messing with you way more fun.”
You glare at her, trying to keep your composure. “Do you need something, or are you just here to waste my time?”
Her grin widens, and for a moment, you see a flicker of something wild and untamed in her expression. “Maybe I just like watching you squirm.”
She becomes a constant in your life after that. You find her waiting outside your classroom, lounging against your locker, or casually walking into student council meetings as if she belongs there.
“Do you ever stop?” you snap one afternoon, cornering her in the hallway after she’s disrupted yet another meeting.
“Stop what?” she asks innocently, tilting her head.
“Whatever game you’re playing.”
She steps closer, and for the first time, you notice just how intense her gaze is. “Who says it’s a game? Maybe I just like you.”
The words hang in the air, heavy and electric, and before you can respond, she turns on her heel and walks away, leaving you standing there, utterly baffled.
It’s not until much later that you start to see the cracks in her chaotic facade. One night, you find her sitting alone in the empty music room, the piano keys beneath her fingers. She’s not playing, just pressing random notes, her usual manic energy replaced by a quiet stillness.
“You shouldn’t be here,” you say, stepping into the room.
She doesn’t look up. “Neither should you.”
For a moment, neither of you speaks. Then she sighs, her shoulders slumping. “I bet you think I’m crazy.”
You hesitate, caught off guard by the vulnerability in her voice. “I think you’re reckless and impulsive and… exhausting. But no, I don’t think you’re crazy.”
She finally looks up at you, her eyes softer than you’ve ever seen them. “You’re too nice for your own good, you know that?”
“I’m not nice,” you counter. “I just… I think there’s more to you than the act you put on.”
Her lips twitch into a small, almost shy smile. “Careful, president. You keep saying things like that, and I might start to believe you.”
The more time you spend around her, the more you realize how deeply she feels everything. Her chaos isn’t just for show—it’s a shield, a way to keep people from getting too close. But with you, she starts to let her guard down.
One evening, she shows up outside your house, her hair messy and her eyes wild. “Come with me,” she says, grabbing your hand.
“Where are we going?” you ask, letting her drag you down the street.
“Anywhere,” she replies, her grip tight. “Everywhere. I don’t care.”
You end up at the park, sitting on a swingset as the stars blink overhead. She’s unusually quiet, her hands gripping the chains tightly as she stares at the ground.
“You ever feel like you’re spinning out of control?” she asks suddenly, her voice barely above a whisper.
You glance at her, surprised by the question. “Sometimes.”
She exhales shakily, her fingers brushing against yours. “You… you make it stop. Just for a little while.”
Your heart skips a beat, and you don’t know if it’s the raw honesty in her words or the way her fingers linger against yours, but you feel something shift between you.
It happens later that night, as you’re walking her home. She stops in front of her house, turning to face you with an unreadable expression.
“Why do you put up with me?” she asks suddenly, her voice soft.
You frown. “What do you mean?”
“I’m a mess,” she says, her gaze dropping to the ground. “I break things, I hurt people… I’m not like you. I’m not good.”
“You’re not perfect,” you admit, stepping closer. “But you’re not as bad as you think you are, either.”
She looks up at you, her eyes shining with something you can’t quite name. “You’re going to regret saying that.”
“Maybe,” you say with a small smile. “But I don’t think so.”
Before you can overthink it, you lean in, your lips brushing against hers. She freezes for a moment, like she’s caught off guard, but then she kisses you back, her hands clutching at your sleeves as if you’re the only solid thing in her world.
When you finally pull back, her face is flushed, and she’s breathing hard. “You’re insane,” she mutters, though there’s no heat in her words.
“Takes one to know one,” you reply, grinning.
She laughs, the sound light and genuine, and for the first time, you feel like you’ve truly seen her—every broken, beautiful piece of her.

—Troublemaker!sevika and Tutor!reader
You weren’t thrilled when your teacher assigned you as her tutor. You’d heard all the rumors: skipped classes, biting comebacks that left people reeling, and a permanent spot on the troublemaker watchlist.
Her reputation painted her as unteachable, untamable, and entirely uninterested in anything resembling authority. When your teacher insisted she “just needed guidance,” you couldn’t help but feel skeptical.
The first session confirmed it.
She slouched into the library ten minutes late, her bag dragging on the floor, and dropped into the chair across from you with a loud huff.
“Look,” she said before you could even greet her, “I don’t need some perfect little know-it-all telling me what to do.”
You blinked, caught off guard. “I’m just here to help.”
“Sure,” she scoffed, leaning back in her chair. “Let’s get this over with.”
Her tone was cutting, her expression bored, and yet… there was something about her. A quiet intensity lurking beneath the surface, like she was daring you to break through her tough exterior.
Each session felt like a test of patience. She was sharp, no question about it, but her attitude made every interaction a battle.
“You’re not even trying,” you said one afternoon after she tossed her pen aside for the third time.
Her eyes snapped to yours, hard and unyielding. “Don’t act like you know me,” she said coldly. “You think I don’t try? You think I don’t bust my ass every single day?”
You froze, startled by the edge in her voice.
She leaned forward, her gaze cutting through you like a blade. “I don’t need this. I don’t need you. I’m here because they told me to be.”
For a moment, you considered walking away. But then you saw it—just the faintest flicker of something vulnerable beneath her defiance.
“You’re right,” you said, keeping your voice calm. “I don’t know you. But I know you’re capable of more than this.”
Her jaw tightened, and she looked away, her fingers drumming on the table. “Whatever,” she muttered.
But she didn’t leave.
Slowly, things started to shift. She showed up on time—barely. She started taking notes—reluctantly. And every so often, she’d let her tough exterior slip, just enough for you to catch a glimpse of the real her.
One afternoon, after a particularly grueling session, you handed her a worksheet.
“You’re getting better,” you said, offering her a small smile.
She snorted. “Don’t get all sentimental on me.”
“I’m not. I’m just saying you’re improving.”
“Yeah, well, don’t hold your breath for a thank-you card,” she replied, but there was a hint of a smirk on her lips.
Her walls were still up, but they were starting to crack.
It happened on a rare quiet day in the library. She was hunched over her notebook, her brow furrowed as she worked through a particularly tricky problem.
“Got it,” she said suddenly, sitting up straight.
“Really?” you asked, leaning over to check her work.
She shoved the notebook toward you, her smirk firmly in place. “Told you I’m not dumb.”
“I never said you were dumb,” you replied, meeting her gaze. “You just make things harder than they need to be.”
She rolled her eyes. “Maybe I like a challenge.”
“Or maybe you’re just stubborn,” you teased.
Her smirk softened, just for a moment. “Takes one to know one, princess.”
Your heart skipped a beat at the way she said it, her voice low and almost… fond.
After weeks of late afternoons spent together, you found yourself walking her home one evening. The sun was setting, casting a warm orange glow over the quiet streets.
“You’re not as bad as I thought,” she said suddenly, breaking the silence.
You blinked, surprised. “Is that supposed to be a compliment?”
“Don’t push your luck,” she shot back, though her tone lacked its usual bite.
When you reached her house, she stopped at the gate, turning to face you. Her usual confidence wavered, just slightly.
“Why do you bother with me?” she asked, her voice quieter than usual.
“Because I see how hard you work,” you said honestly. “And because I think there’s more to you than what you let people see.”
She stared at you for a long moment, her expression unreadable. Then, without warning, she stepped closer, her hand brushing yours.
“You’re a real pain, you know that?” she murmured, her voice soft but firm.
Before you could respond, she leaned in, her lips capturing yours in a kiss that was as bold and unapologetic as she was.
When she pulled back, her cheeks were flushed, but her smirk was firmly in place.
“Don’t let it go to your head,” she said, turning toward her door.
You smiled, your heart racing. “Too late."

—Artist!ekko and Muse!reader
It was one of those golden autumn afternoons, the kind where the sunlight made everything look softer, warmer, like it belonged in a painting. You’d escaped to the park during your lunch break, clutching a well-worn book in one hand and a coffee in the other. It wasn’t the first time you’d come here for a little peace and quiet, but it felt like one of the rare times you’d actually get it.
You settled on a bench near the fountain, a cozy corner of the park where the only sounds were the gentle trickle of water and the rustling of leaves in the breeze.
The moment you opened your book, however, you felt it—a faint, almost electric sensation prickling at the edge of your awareness. Someone was watching you.
Glancing up, you spotted him.
He was sitting on the grass a few yards away, sketchpad balanced on his knees, pencil flying across the page. His hair fell messily across his forehead, and the sleeves of his shirt were rolled up to reveal forearms speckled with faint smears of paint. Despite the chaos of his appearance, his focus was absolute, his gaze darting between you and the paper as if you were some rare discovery he couldn’t afford to lose.
You furrowed your brow, unsure whether to feel flattered or alarmed. “Can I help you?” you called, your voice cutting through the quiet.
He blinked, as if snapping out of a trance, and stood quickly.
“Sorry,” he said, striding toward you. “I didn’t mean to freak you out.”
His voice was smooth, tinged with an earnestness that made it hard to stay annoyed.
“I’m an artist,” he explained, gesturing to his sketchpad. “I know this sounds weird, but you’ve got this… look. The way you’re sitting, the way the light hits you—it’s perfect.”
“Perfect?” you repeated, raising an eyebrow.
“For a piece I’m working on,” he clarified, a faint blush creeping up his neck. “Do you mind if I sketch you? Just for a little while.”
You hesitated, studying him. He didn’t look like a creep—just young, maybe a little unkempt, with an intensity in his eyes that was hard to ignore.
“I’m not really dressed for a portrait,” you said, gesturing to your casual sweater and jeans.
He smiled, and the way his face softened surprised you. “It’s not about the clothes. It’s the way you carry yourself.”
The compliment was unexpected, and it caught you off guard. “Alright,” you said slowly. “But just for a few minutes.”
“Great,” he said, dropping to the bench across from you with a grin that felt like the sun breaking through the clouds
It turned out he was a prodigy, a young artist with a growing reputation in the city. His work had been featured in galleries, and he’d even won a few prestigious awards. But for all his talent, he was surprisingly down-to-earth.
“I don’t really like the whole ‘genius’ label,” he admitted one afternoon after convincing you to pose for him again. “It just makes people think I’ve got everything figured out. But most of the time, I’m just trying to keep up with my own ideas.”
You quickly realized that his art wasn’t just a skill—it was his lifeline. He spoke about it the way others might talk about breathing. And for some reason, he’d decided that you were his muse.
“Why me?” you asked one day as he sketched you in his studio. The walls were covered with half-finished canvases, each one brimming with vivid colors and raw emotion.
He glanced up from his sketchbook, his eyes soft but focused. “You’ve got something about you,” he said simply. “A kind of… light. I can’t explain it, but when I see you, I want to create.”
His honesty was disarming. There was no pretense in his words, no calculated charm. He spoke as though his heart was an open book, and every word was written in your honor.
“Do you say that to all your muses?” you teased, trying to lighten the moment.
He chuckled, the sound low and warm. “I’ve never had one before you.”
As time went on, you got to know him beyond his talent. He was fiercely independent, refusing to rely on anyone for his success. His compassion, however, was what surprised you most. He spent his weekends teaching art classes at a local youth center, his eyes lighting up as he helped kids discover their own creativity.
“They’ve got so much potential,” he said once, his voice filled with quiet pride. “They just need someone to believe in them.”
It was clear that he poured himself into everything he did, whether it was a painting, a lesson, or simply spending time with you.
One evening, he invited you to his studio after hours. The space was dimly lit, the air thick with the scent of paint and turpentine.
“I want to show you something,” he said, guiding you to the center of the room where a large canvas stood covered by a cloth.
With a dramatic flourish, he pulled the cloth away, revealing a breathtaking painting. It was you—your pose, your expression, every detail captured with such tenderness that it felt like staring into a mirror of your soul.
“Is that… me?” you asked, your voice barely above a whisper.
He nodded, his gaze steady. “It’s not just you,” he said softly. “It’s how I see you. Strong, radiant… inspiring.”
Your heart swelled at his words, and for a moment, you forgot how to breathe.
“It’s beautiful,” you said finally, your voice thick with emotion.
“So are you,” he replied, his lips curling into a small, genuine smile.
There was no grand confession, no dramatic moment where everything changed. Instead, your relationship grew in quiet, unspoken ways. The way he brought you coffee when you visited his studio. The way he asked for your opinion on his work, genuinely valuing your thoughts. The way his hand would brush against yours when he passed you a sketchbook, his touch lingering just a second too long.
One day, as you sat together in the park where you’d first met, he turned to you, his eyes filled with something you couldn’t quite name.
“You know,” he said, his voice low, “I’m not sure I’d be able to do this without you.”
“Do what?” you asked, tilting your head.
“Create,” he replied simply. “You make it… easier to believe in myself.”
You smiled, your heart fluttering at his honesty. “I think you’d do just fine on your own.”
“Maybe,” he said, his gaze never leaving yours. “But I don’t want to.”

—Bestfriend!jayce
The two of you had been inseparable for as long as you could remember. From elementary school to your final year of high school, your lives had been stitched together with countless shared moments—late-night study sessions, chaotic group projects, and lazy afternoons spent at the local diner. You were the grounded one, the planner, while he was the dreamer.
He was everything you admired in a person: ambitious, creative, and unrelentingly passionate about making the world a better place. Whether he was organizing a charity event for the school or advocating for a greener campus, he didn’t just talk about change—he embodied it.
“Alright, hear me out,” he said one afternoon as you sat in your favorite spot in the school library. His voice was alive with energy, his words spilling out faster than you could process them.
You glanced up from your notes, already bracing yourself. “This is going to be another one of your big ideas, isn’t it?”
“Of course,” he said with a grin. “It’s what I do best.”
He leaned forward, spreading out a sketchbook filled with colorful doodles and bold handwriting. Each page was a mix of blueprints, campaign slogans, and notes for an initiative he wanted to pitch to the student council.
“I’m telling you, if we can pull this off, it could really make a difference. We could partner with local businesses, raise money for community programs, and even involve the younger students—”
“You’re going a hundred miles an hour again,” you interrupted gently, a smile tugging at your lips.
“Not when I’m onto something good,” he replied without missing a beat.
That was him in a nutshell: a whirlwind of ideas and determination, always moving forward. It was both inspiring and exhausting to keep up with him, but somehow, you always did.
For all his big ideas and boundless enthusiasm, he had a softer side too—a side he reserved just for you.
One Friday night, he showed up outside your house, honking his car horn until you came outside in your pajamas.
“What are you doing?” you hissed, glancing around to make sure your neighbors weren’t watching.
“Get in,” he said with a grin, leaning out of the driver’s side window. “I need your opinion on something.”
“You’re insane,” you muttered, but you climbed into the passenger seat anyway.
He drove to a quiet hill on the outskirts of town, parking near an old tree you’d both claimed as “your spot” years ago. He pulled out a notebook from his bag and handed it to you.
“These are my ideas for the youth outreach program,” he said. “I need to know if I’m being too ambitious.”
You flipped through the pages, your heart warming as you saw the effort he’d poured into every word and sketch.
“This is incredible,” you said softly. “You’re not just ambitious—you’re inspiring. People are going to listen to you.”
He looked at you, his expression unreadable. “You really think so?”
“Always,” you said, your voice firm.
For a split second, you thought he might reach out to take your hand, but instead, he leaned back, staring up at the stars. “I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
After particularly grueling school days, he’d find you at your locker, holding out your favorite drink or snack without a word. When the stress of finals hit, he’d sit beside you in the library, quietly working through his own assignments while offering words of encouragement.
And then there were the moments when his usual confidence wavered.
“Do you think I’m crazy?” he asked one evening as you sat on the hood of his car, staring up at the stars.
The two of you had just spent hours planning his latest project, a school-wide fundraiser for a local shelter. Despite his ambitious plans, his voice was quieter now, almost hesitant.
“You? Crazy?” you teased, nudging him playfully. “Absolutely.”
He laughed softly, but the tension in his shoulders didn’t completely fade.
“Seriously, though,” he said, turning to you. “Sometimes I wonder if I’m aiming too high. Like, what if I can’t actually pull all this off? What if I fail?”
You reached out, placing a reassuring hand on his arm. “You won’t fail. You’re the most determined person I’ve ever met. And even if something doesn’t work out the way you planned, it doesn’t mean you failed. It just means you’re brave enough to try again.”
His gaze softened, and for a moment, the air between you felt heavier, charged with something unspoken.
“Thanks,” he said quietly. “I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
The moment lingered, and as he pulled back, his hands stayed on your shoulders. His gaze searched yours, and for the first time, you saw a vulnerability there that he usually kept hidden.
“I’ve been trying to figure out how to say this for a while now,” he began, his voice soft but steady.
Your breath caught. “What is it?”
“I don’t just care about you as a friend,” he admitted, his cheeks flushing slightly. “I mean, I do, but it’s more than that. You’ve always been my anchor, the one person who gets me, who believes in me even when I doubt myself.”
Your heart raced, the world narrowing down to just the two of you. “I think I’ve always felt the same way,” you said quietly.
Relief washed over his face, followed by a smile so genuine it made your chest ache.
“Then we’re in this together,” he said, reaching for your hand. “Like always.”
From that day on, your friendship transformed into something deeper, something stronger. His dreams grew bigger, but now, they weren’t just his—they were yours too. Together, you were unstoppable, a team bound by shared passion and a love that had been years in the making.
Whether it was planning for college or brainstorming ways to change the world, one thing was certain: with him by your side, anything felt possible.

—Enemies to lovers!viktor and reader
From the moment the new kid transferred to your school, it was as if the universe had dropped a puzzle piece into the wrong spot. He was a contradiction: introverted yet razor-sharp in class discussions, quiet but with an undercurrent of passion that seemed to burst through in unexpected moments. His snarky comebacks and aloof demeanor were practically tailor-made to clash with your confident, no-nonsense approach to everything.
You couldn’t help but notice how he kept his distance from everyone else, often retreating to the farthest corner of the library or lab. Despite his unassuming presence, he somehow managed to infuriate you with his brilliance. Teachers fawned over him, classmates whispered about him, and you? You glared daggers at him every time he raised his hand in class to counter one of your arguments.
The first real confrontation happened in science class. It was a group project, and your teacher, in a cruel twist of fate, paired you with him.
“Great,” you muttered under your breath.
He barely glanced at you as he set down his notebook, already flipping through its pages. “It’s not my favorite pairing either, but let’s just get this done.”
His tone was clipped, and his eyes barely met yours.
“Oh, so we’re starting with passive-aggressive remarks? Good to know where we stand,” you shot back, folding your arms.
He sighed, finally looking at you. “Look, I don’t care if you like me or not. I care about getting an A on this project. If you want to argue, fine, but at least do it while we’re running the experiment.”
His bluntness took you off guard, and for a moment, you were speechless. But you quickly recovered, rolling your eyes. “Fine. But don’t think for a second I’m letting you take over.”
“Wouldn’t dream of it,” he muttered under his breath, already scribbling in his notebook.
Working together was like a storm brewing in slow motion. You were both stubborn and headstrong, constantly butting heads over the smallest details.
“Why are you doing it that way?” you snapped one afternoon as he adjusted the settings on the experiment’s apparatus.
“Because it’s the correct way,” he replied without looking up.
“You didn’t even let me explain my idea!”
“Your idea would’ve blown up the circuit.”
You narrowed your eyes. “You don’t know that.”
“Let me guess—you’re the kind of person who thinks trial and error is the only way to learn?”
He finally turned to face you, a faint smirk playing at his lips “And you’re the kind of person who thinks you’re always right,”
The tension crackled like static electricity, but neither of you backed down.
It wasn’t until a late-night study session in the empty library that things started to shift. The project deadline was looming, and you’d reluctantly agreed to meet outside of school to finish your work.
He was unusually quiet that night, his usual snark absent as he stared intently at the data on his laptop.
“Hey,” you said, breaking the silence. “You okay?”
He hesitated, his fingers pausing on the keyboard. “Just tired. And frustrated. I want this to be perfect.”
Something in his tone softened your usual defensiveness. “You know, it doesn’t have to be perfect. You’re allowed to mess up sometimes.”
He gave a faint, humorless laugh. “Not really. Not when people are counting on me.”
The vulnerability in his voice caught you off guard. For the first time, you saw past the walls he’d built around himself—the pressure he carried, the weight of expectations.
“I didn’t realize you were dealing with so much,” you said quietly.
He glanced at you, his expression unreadable. “Why would you? We’ve been too busy trying to outsmart each other.”
You couldn’t help but laugh softly. “Fair point. Maybe we should call a truce—for now.”
He smiled, just barely, and it was the first time you’d seen him let his guard down.
As the project progressed, the two of you started to find common ground. You discovered his love for science wasn’t just about theories and equations—it was about helping people.
“Why are you so passionate about this?” you asked one day as he carefully calibrated a piece of equipment.
He hesitated, then said, “Because I want to make a difference. I has a chronic illness, and I’ve spent years struggling with treatments that barely work. I want to change that for me, and for anyone else going through the same thing.”
His words hit you like a punch to the chest. You’d always thought of him as cold and detached, but now, you saw the fire that drove him.
“That’s… incredible,” you said softly.
He shrugged, his cheeks tinged with color. “It’s just what I care about. What about you? What drives you?”
You hesitated, caught off guard by the question. But as you opened up about your own dreams and ambitions, you realized something had shifted between you.
On the night before the project was due, you were sitting in his garage, putting the final touches on your presentation. It was late, and the two of you were running on caffeine and adrenaline.
“Here,” he said, handing you a mug of tea. “You’re going to burn out if you keep pushing yourself.”
“Look who’s talking,” you teased, taking the mug.
For a moment, neither of you spoke, the quiet hum of the garage filling the space.
“You’re not so bad, you know,” he said suddenly, his voice low.
You raised an eyebrow. “Is that your idea of a compliment?”
He smiled faintly, looking down at his hands. “I mean it. I’ve never met anyone who challenges me the way you do. It’s… refreshing.”
Your cheeks warmed, and you looked away, pretending to focus on the data. “Well, don’t get used to it. I’m not going easy on you just because you’re finally being nice.”
“Wouldn’t expect anything less,” he said, and there was a softness in his tone that made your heart race.

Proposal. Jinx x fem!reader
summary- marrying Jinx wasnt something you expected, but since youre doing it, you must do it right
jinx x fem!reader, no spoilhers (i think), barely any use of she\her pronous
jinx will be written on blue, reader on purple
Tumblr media
Marrying jinx wasnt something you planned, fuck, falling so hard for Zaun`s biggest terrorist and most insane girl wasnt in your plans, but what else can you do when all you could think of in the last months is about how badly you want to put a ring on your gilfriend`s finger?
Its almost impossible to not sweat as you use blacklight ink to paint the pillars of a Zaun`s abandoned building, forming different paintings, that roughly represented, on the best manner you could, moments of you and Jinx on each pillar, forming a beautiful artwork that could only be seen under UV light, that was shinning over you and your work due to the Blacklight Lamp that you luckly managed to steal from your girlfriend without much struggle.
Done painting the walls as you pleased, you move to the floor, its dusty and dirty, like the rest of the place, but you dont care much, trowing some ink on it, you use one of your feet to sloppily drag the spilled ink around, forming a heart shape, not trying to make the form perfect, knowing that Jinx likes things coming out more messy and natural, and in the end, the heart shape comes like that, sloppy, messy and natural, familiar, like your love for her. In the middle of the heart, you write "jinx", for where you want her to stand at, and "yn", for where you are going to be
When everything is done, you move to turn off the Blacklight Lamp you had placed as high as you could, and that was working due to a batery you stole from someone from piltover, with the lights off, your painting dissapear, as the expected, leaving you in the dark, only with the moonlight to lead your way, and with the scenario done and ring on your pocket, you now just have to go get jinx
jinx curved herself on her worshop, focused on creating something, probably a grenade or new pistol, unable to hear your approach due to the loud, banging music she was hearing, "get jinxed". you aproach the phonograph, cause of the sound and turns it off, the sudden silence getting her attention, making her look at you uh? toots?
jinx asks, turning her chair to look at you, an amused and yet playfully smirk creeping down her lips as she looks at you
you're not the one i expected to be killing my mood -she teases with a dry chuckle as she adds rather playfully- maybe youre spending too much time with silco
yeah, maybe, whatever, just- follow me you say to her, grabbing her hand and dragging her outside of her hideout, earning from her an amused chuckle and mumble, that you cant quite understand due to how loud your heart is beating on your chest, ears ringing in anxiety and antecipation i have a surprise a surprise? jinx asks, following you, her smirk getting a more curious undertone thats unlike you she states, before she stops walking when you do, both of you facing what for jinx is just another Zaun's abandoned building oh my gosh she says, faking a gasp and happiness thats it? its oh-soooo perfect, i adored it, what could be better... she speaks, starting to circle you, like a shark with its prey then to need to stop working to be dragged to an abandoned building on the middle of the night? fuck you, jinx you say with a mix of offense and playfullness as you move away from her, in the direction of your improvised lightswitch, turning the Blacklight Lamp on, earning from jinx a small yelp as she looks around, eyes shinning at the just revealed images
when- how? why? she asks, looking around, a bit stunned as she moves closer to the pillars, fingers softly tracing the glowing ink, a smirk, no, a smile forming on her face as she looks at your artwork, before at you alright toots, maybe this wasnt a complete waste of time
her words earn a chuckle from you and, before even answering her, you take her hands in yours, leading her to the middle of the heart drawn on the floor, that she just noticed now, due to your gaze towards it. leaving her on the spot with her name, you go to the one with yours, getting on your knees, looking up at her, seeing her tensing up and taking a small step back jinx. i really love you, and i quite cant see myself without you anymore.. you say, a blush foorming on your cheeks as you take a deep breath, taking out of your pocket a ring box and opening it i want everything from you, your happiness, your sadness, your trouble, so, jinx, do you.. want to make it official? would you give me the blessing of marrying you?

"Caitlyn let jinx go to show her love for vi"
Caitlyn expected vi to go out to war after still being seen limping around from the commune fiasco...while...i cant stress this enough...her and maddie are at a safe distance being covered by that gas later on...
Caitlyn expected Vi to help clean up the mess she started by fucking around and being a dictator. Asking her is she still in this fight when thats the one thing Vi's been forced to do all her life...is fight
Caitlyn couldn't be bothered to offer Vi something better than a jail cell to fuck in, or better yet, not fuck her while she's this emotionally out of touch and depserate
Caitlyn doesnt think about Vi or how she is in act 2 at all, just fucking around with a junior officer as the literal commander of piltover
Caitlyn shows in ep 6 thats shes more than willing to hit vi multiple times for no good reason
"Caitlyn lost an eye fighting for the city"
Caitlyn had no objections to asking the people she oppressed for 6 months to join this fight...no objections to tossing the supposed love of her life out onto a battle field
Caitlyn got fucking tired of this wild goose chase...thats why this came to an end.
I'm sorry but the narrative doesn't point to it being just because she's a good person...and its wild because they literally could have, like they did with jinx who somehow had better development (that they unfortunately crushed because we cant hold cait accountable for shit)
Jinx sees Vi at her absolute lowest while she's as high as she's ever been. She doesnt need Vi for anything. And honestly has every right not to give af about her anymore after the shit she participated in.
But she brings Vi along with her anyway...Vi even clocks the fact that jinx doesnt need her, and all jinx says is that she wants a do-over. No malicious intent, no "I need you to do something for me, i need you to fight for me"...just a do-over.
Thats how you convey unconditional love...idk how tf they missed the mark when it came to caits character that badly, but meanwhile w cait vi is once again being used as a tool to clean up the mess of her oppressors and still being asked to participate in a fight that she didnt even start...its not her job to do this, to fight this fight.
but ofc caits gonna ask her if shes still in it, just like she did last time. only vis too beat down emotionally to object. the only differnce between the final scene and ep 1 is Vi's slight willingness to object. she doesnt have that willpower anymore.

vi: flip with caregiver lean // i think vi has a natural instinct to care for others, the way she cared for powder, and in a way mylo and claggor too. she just has such big sister energy that i cant not see her as a caregiver. despite this i think she still needs her own regression time, and her own time to decompress and let herself be taken care of for once. i think her little age is around 3-5! a bit on the younger side, because shes never really been taken care of before, and so being in a younger headspace would allow her to more easily depend on someone else.
jinx: regressor ALL the way. // oh my gawd. if jinx isnt a baby the sky is freaking like purple idk, because ill bet my top dollar shes a regressor. shes a very very mischievous baby lol, probably a chaos toddler, around 3-5 years old!
cait: neutral // shes never heard of age regression before she met vi, and was a little confused but ultimately accepting in the long run. shes not a caregiver but shell care for vi whenever she regresses, because she loves her!
jayce: regressor // for a long time he thought he was neutral too, but actually engaged in regression without realizing!! he doesnt really know his regression age. id say maybe somewhere between 6-10, but its kinda unsure. hes not that familiar with his regression and is kinda uneducated about it so even after finding out about agere he doesnt really know what to do with that.
viktor: flip with no lean!! // everyone hcs viktor as a little, which i can get behind because i think living with a terminal and chronic illness is traumatic for him and he regresses to cope with those feelings and the physical pain, but something in me sees so much potential of viktor as a gentle caregiver. oh my gawd caregiver viktor please save me, hes SO important to me!! i think viktor is actually pretty educated about age regression because hes a scientist and he understands psychology more than the other character probably. i think his regression age would be around 8-10, a bit older, but still a kiddo. sometimes hell go younger though, around 4-6.
ekko: regressor // idk why i have this headcanon, i just do. it just feels right. his regression age is around 5-7! he likes to try and use his hoverboard when regressed but he does not have the same control and balance as he does when big lol.
mel: neutral // i think mel is neutral but knows of age regression. shell be a babysitter for any littles in need but i dont think she has her own little tbh. she views it as something completely normal and natural, which shed be correct for, and doesnt think twice of it tbh. i think it was mel actually who first informed jayce of age regression and asked him if he thought he could be a regressor!
isha: regressor // isha is already pretty young, id guess probably between 8-10 years old literally. i think though shes experienced a lot of traumatic events, no one even really knows where her parents are in the show if im correct, and she regresses to around 1-3 years old! jinx isnt a caregiver but she sees herself as ishas big sister so of course shell… attempt to take care of her baby sister lol. caregiving may not come naturally to jinx, but she tries. she makes her fun toys and plays games like hide and seek and tag, and likes to doodle with the baby!

i LOVE arcane2 i think its so close to being insanely good but it felt rushed tbh
like the scene with ambessa and vi (where vi is locked up) where ambessa is gloating wouldve been a lot better if we had seen how ambessa had gotten comfortable with her knew tools. like if she was so confident with singes' weaponery that she feels invincible or smth
and i think they needed to both flesh out mels internal dialogue more so that we can see the conflict she feels towards fighting her mother. like if we understand why she tries to stop le blanc from trying to kill her or even if she like went "wait no!!" and looked distressed when le blanc imprisoned her. cause she kinda just did that and it felt kinda out of the blue really
dinger defo needed more time like it really felt like he had his character arc between season 1 and 2 like in season 1 he sees how tech can and should be used to better peoples lives now and how he cant wait decades to release something. but in season 2 you first see him and he is making things to make peoples lives better without that testing like iirc the turret was cluttering in a way that s1 dinger would not like. and also the fact that he kinda just dies* and then nothing more is said. like a scene with jayce and ekko mourning his disappearance or smth but instead ekko just lights a lantern for someone (supposed to be donger) in the final moments of the show.
caitlyn.... they massacred her so bad..... like she starts the season off soooo strong like forcing vi to pick sides and clearly demonising all zaunites for the attacks of 1 individual. at this point she had already spent time in the undercity and met people so the rage she was feeling was real and super juicy. like shes so mad at jinx that she is willing to SHOOT A CHILD AND GAS THE UNDERCITY. like vi says that they used the grey to clear the streets and remove civilian casualties but they still used the fundamental infrastructure of zaun against zaunites to commit acts of terror. i think this was implied to already be an intended feature of the undercity's ventilation but they still used it against the people of zaun. dont even get me started on cait ambessa.... like they almost had such a good thing going, the set up of the mother who lost her children, one physically and one ideologically (and also physically) and the child with too much power and too much grief was almost great. but like. cait just kinda stops that when she hears that vi's dad is alive she goes oohhhh ok well im with you now. we dont really see any turmoil hear her regret her actions or think shes taking things to far, although she does push back somewhat against ambessa's stoking, seen in the scene where ambessa is literally stoking a flame while trying to work up cait. we even see ambessa's influence on cait when cait an vi meet as cait uses the takedown she was taught to disarm vi. RAHHHH the fact that cait gets off mostly scot free is very annoying. i do love how she loses an eye tho i think that is v cool for both her character and her design. like she lost her eye because of how she turned a blind eye to what she had done. but even if her design reflects her mistakes her character doesnt :P
jinx vi viktor and jayce where all handled really well imo its 100% there show. like jinx's growth is shown very well, the way she starts helping both isha and sevika is super sweet, and the way that zaun put her up on a pedestal and how she hides from it because whenever something good happens to her she thinks she ruins it. and sevika and isha show her that she can do right and she doesnt always break things. the way that vi rejects her so hard because of all she has put vi through but she is able to like. work it out with her was very sweet.
i really really like the way that vi was handled, her reasoning for joining the enforcers was super good, the way she sees that the enforcers arent all bad when theyre defending against the attack on the memorial, too her realising that oh wait. actually these guys still suck. and then the way that she behaves when cait dumps her was super good, like she was always protecting something and then the last thing she had left pushes her away, so she falls into a depressive spiral. then to be brought out by jinx! and she learns to slowly trust jinx and through jinx's actions! very cool big fan.
i really loved the way they did jayce and viktor. i love how jayce cant let viktor die and so he does exactly what viktor didnt want him to do to save him, pushing him away. and then how viktor is so clouded by his new power that he cant comprehend what he is doing. like viktors followers arent people. sallo and that guy who is first converted become completely different people when transformed by viktor, and in the scene with sallo and jayce, sallo's breath doesnt show. hes not even breathing hes been reduced to a husk, and i dont think viktor even realises he did that. and then the way that when jayce pushes viktor away after what he experienced in the future and how that pushes viktor to curse the individual as a whole and completely strip all his followers of any individuality. ough.... the way that jayce and viktor are both fundamentally changed by the arcane.... its so scrommy yommy. i do think that viktors partnership with ambessa makes sense, if a little rushed. like she sees him as an army to crush her foes with and he sees her as a vehicle to unite everyone under him. but!! they really shouldve kissed in the scene where jayce rushes to viktor in dreamland like it really felt like they were going to and then they were told to change that. because like the way that jayce is just like "i just want you" and then rushes into him is like...... the way that it cuts through the facade that viktor has put up around him and how viktor responds... i wish they couldve been gay together. like not even dating! just like a qpr or something but those boys definitely wanted to explore eachothers bodies.
i think the side side characters are a mixed bag. like i liked than noxian guy (even tho idk his name) i think they showed very well his and ambessas relationship and how much they meant to eachother. i liked maddie aswell, she keeps saying all these dog whistles like telling vi shes "one of the good ones" and trying to make caitlyn continue the occupation of zaun. and her betrayal was very well set up you see her handling the bomb and then it doesnt go off later and you go huh??? then you see an enforcer (specifically the silhouette used when they were raiding zaun) take out vi and then shes holding vi at gunpoint and its like WOAW SHES EVIL. excellent
i didnt know lorres' name until i saw someone else talking about him online and then i had to google him
that vastaya was cool to show that piltover is a multicultural nation which attracts all sorts of people and accepts anyone unless theyre poor. wish they got a name or like. lines.
but yeah! i thought arcane2 was pretty good but it needed more time. like preferably another season but atleast another act sorry this was a bit rambly lol (im not)
*in league lore yordles (the thing heimer is) are like immortal fairies that when they die they kinda just respawn in another dimension (bandle city). also theyre very heavily shaped by their environments and their personality is very heavily influenced by the general vibe of where they live (in like a magic way not like a regular person (they kinda become super hard stereotypes of the culture that they participate in (kled<3)))

Hi
Can I request yandere platonic links universe x dark link toddler daughter reader
Like the reader is the daughter of dink
But is very Young and doesn't really understand what going on. And when some monsters where in charge of wacthing her
Cuz dink has to go get new monster's and get something like a magic itame
So with no chose he has to leave his daughter with a lizroz
And hope nothing goes wrong
He jinx it
The links found the camp and see the little crib with little toddler reader in it sleeping
And when they get her
And take her to the other's and one of the link's dices to be there father and the others her uncle's
Please and thank you
Due to all of those times the group has gone up against Dink and Warrior has come so close to getting that lizard, he's the first one in the group to take this as a personal challenge. He feels the need to be a better parental figure. He figures the bar must be really low because he does not hold Dink in high regards but he still has to try his best. Look, he helped raise Sprite and was there for Wind and even if they don't remember he does and he makes sure to fill whatever role you need. From father figure, to uncle, to older brother he does a bit of everything until the others find their own way around how to interact with the very young new member to their team. The others aren't as used to raising kids so this is his chance to shine and shine he does.
He carries you around on your shoulders when walking so you don't get tired. He loves to pick you up and carry you around and cant say no to you when you ask. Warrior lets you hang from his arm and happily walks around camp with you- always careful to make sure you never walk near the outskirts just in case Dink tries to nab you when you're farther away. He's so worried that you might be taken away from them. Like on the road as a young hero is tough and you're no hero. You need someone to care for you and a giant killer lizard is hardly fit for care! He is careful to always keep one eye on you and the other on the environment.
Time is happy to watch you run around camp and he finds that it often reminds him of his home back by the Deku tree and he happily tells you stories and passes down wisdom he knows to you. Time is the stern older father figure. Making sure someone doesn't sneak you too much candy or them not letting you run around and get yourself hurt. He knows being reckless is part of being a kid but who knows when enemies will attack and worse, you were travelling with a monster. The knowledge that Dink has been raising you runs rampant in his head and he honestly thinks about adopting you or at least having you stay with Malon. That evil wretch is not fit to care for you. He isn't sure where he stands on starting a family but he knows that you'll be staying at his house the moment they are back in his Hyrule. Malon will enjoy having you there he's sure of it! Plus, you need a better influence in your life.
Wind is so excited to be able to show off his older sibling skills. He loves playing games with you and happily takes on the role of welcoming you into the group. Sure you're too young to stay but you're here now and he can't wait to show you all the cool games he's thought up. Since you're still pretty young the games have to be kept simple for you to be able to play but you're smart enough. He also helps teach you your letters and numbers because he enjoys feeling smart and showing others things. Having someone around that's younger than him really scratches an itch in his brain and he's soon off to write a letter to his sister.
Sky is quiet and regards you as a mixed bag. Maybe you know something about Dink’s plans? But you're too young and he doesn't feel comfortable about asking you such things. You're only a kid and can't be blamed for the action of your parents, however is he even your parent? Did he find you abandoned or steal you? This changes things. Either way he regards you as someone who needs his help and he can hardly ignore how fun it is having you around. The camp is lively and once you've settled down for the night he happily scoops you up and wraps you in his sail cloth. Sky holds you gently in his arms and rocks you so carefully until the two of you fall asleep. He agrees that Time’s place would be the safest and best bet but if he’s being honest dropping you off at Twilight’s home in Ordon, one of Wind’s islands, or even Skyloft doesn't sound like a bad idea. You're too young to stay here for long.
Anyone in the group can tell that they need to find you a home and it's all hands on deck the moment they find you. Someone has to be responsible and that winds up being all of them when you're around. They still goof around but they can hardly do anything too dangerous while you're around, for fear you might copy them. Except for Wild because he's never been around kids for a long period of time as far as he can remember. He's getting into all sorts of trouble but it's ok because you're not allowed to join him yet.

i feel like i need to scream but i cant without changing how my mom sees me. she wouldnt actually care, she'd only tel you to stfu, you know that, you know that i guess i want that but idk, id make her feel like shit, she already has a lot going on. i hate being like i am, because these people i love and care about their voices are in my head repeating things theyd relistically say if i fucked up badly knowing how theyd react you know those voices are right, get a grip astrid im so enraged for no reason at all theres a reason theres a reason theres a reason, stop lying to yourself i want these people to care so much but why would they? bout tired of lying to themselves i guess. theyll talk to each other endlessly but when it comes to me, no, no no nononon ono no no non noo. im too messed up for that. im not worth it. they know getting close to me is a mistake. im a mistake. i want them to admit that those voices arent true but i doubt theyd even bat an eye towards it. if i get too close to someone, ill mess up, ill fuck smth up for them, theyll feel worse. im sick. and so fucking tired. i want to talk to lilac, just, something mentally is barricading me from talking to him and i hate it so much, because he means so much to me, hes the only one that seems to care. it hurts watching his messages go by and mentally it wont let me talk to him, like i enter into the text box and my brain becomes foggy and overwhelmed. theres something wrong with me. and with lavender, i want her to care too, even though theres no hope in it now, they treat me like im their past, oh well you deserve it and you know that, thats the deal with everyone. sunflower and black bat flower talk to me i guess, rather talk to each other though, i trust them so much and promise they care but im starting to think theyre lying, sunflower hasnt talked to me much anymore, guess i did smth to be less again. always tend to fuck it up. oh well. thats all you know how to do. stfu. they are liars. liars
my brain is looking for this person that'll care that isnt there, and even if they're there, my brain wont let me talk to them. i hate myself so much. i need to change. or die. thatll fix things. whats wrong with me? instead you sit here crying because youre delusional and your "friends" dont actually care enough about you, youre too much and youre going to jinx it soon enough, just kill yourself already, now wont you???

asks galore
5, 7, 11, 14, 18, 22, 24
26, 28, 32, 39, 51, 52
5. do you have any episodes that you just didn't care for that much? honestly, not really. overall i prefer act two to the other acts but i wholeheartedly love each episode. like i've seen this show 197 times, and there really hasnt been an episode that i didn't care for.
7. what character first caught your eye? the first character i ever saw was viktor. he was the reason i even watched the show. it was like three in the morning and i was scrolling aimlessly on instagram and i stumbled upon someones viktor fanart and decided immediately that i had to watch the show.
11. which character design is your favorite? as a jinx girlie, i'm contractually obligated to say jinx. but aside from her, my favorites are mel and sevika. jinx appeals to the part of my brain that loves messy, imperfect characters. her nails are chipped and she has these big, vulnerable eyes that draw you in. she has this like, smudged eyeliner and these little bits of hair that used to be in her braids but have since migrated to her face. i like how messy she looks particularly in act three. and the way she looks as a child speaks to me, from her fucked up hair that she obviously cut herself to the clothes that look like they used to belong to someone else. she reminds me of myself. also i have blue hair and she has blue hair and omg she's just like me fr. mel and sevika are different, in that i don't even remotely see myself in them. i just sincerely think that mel is beautiful, and that sevika is hot. im a very shallow person.
14. which relationship was your favorite? honestly, i know i should say jinx and vi, but jinx and silco really hit me full force in the chest. the fucked up, manipulative relationship between a child and their parent. i cried when silco died, and i cried when silco held her at the end of the first act. he was horrible and evil and he loved her in the fucked up way that someone loves their favorite weapon, their specialist tool. but he also looked at the worst parts of jinx and saw the worst parts of himself and he loved her for that and- its probably very telling that this is my favorite. i also really liked ambessa and mel. bet you cant guess what kind of a childhood i had.
18. what was your favorite emotional scene? the scene where vi leaves powder at the last drop and she has the meltdown. idk it just resonated with me. the fear, the terror at the thought of being abandoned is something i deal with on a semi-frequent basis, and honestly i have a similar reaction to powder. like watching it, hurt me. it was just so visceral and raw.
22. any characters you thought deserved more screen time? singed!! i'm confident that he's going to play a more prominent role in season two, and im glad because i need to know more. tell me about his experiments and his past and his DAUGHTER!!! i mean, i have my theories, but i need to know more! i just know that he has an absolutely juicy backstory, you know. also i think his ideas and philosophies were super interesting and i was a little sad that we didn't get to see more of him and rio. i dont think we saw too little, but it would have pleased me to see more of him. i do think we saw too little of the chem barons, but i care less about them than i do singed.
24. what side characters were your favorite? oh baby i love you forever for asking me this question! my favorite side character is undoubtedly elora, mel's assistant. she's of minimal relevance to the plot but i love her all the same. i don't have a real reason for my attachment to her, i just think she's neat.
26. what are your favorite parallels? im an absolute whore for the parallels between vi and jinx and vander and silco. i think its so interesting to see their similarities, but also how they differ. are they doomed to repeat the sins of their fathers? part of me kind of hopes so.
28. favorite vi scene? the first fight between vi and sevika i think is so interesting. vi sees this woman, who she was so like at one point in time. pre time skip, they both had very similar ideology, in that they both believed in an independent zaun. she sees how much has changed. sevika is a physical representation of the shift that's happened in the lanes whilst vi was in prison. straight away, sevika is presented as arrogant and uncaring, a far cry from the united zaun she wanted in act one. even physically, she has a prosthetic arm powered by shimmer (they weren't exactly subtle about it) a clear sign of her loyalty to silco and vi just loses it. and then at the end where caitlyn saves her and she sees her for who she really is. she's not malicious, she's just some sheltered rich kid. cait cares fiercely about bringing about real, actual justice. yeah i just really like it.
32. were there any moments that really shocked you? the tea party scene in episode nine. maybe a bit basic, i know but the whole scene had this tense, horror movie-esque feel to it. and it wasn't even just the implication of cait's head being on the tray when jinx says "i made her a snack", but the sort of way that she proclaims herself to be "not that crazy" that immediately makes us think the opposite. everything from the scribbles on vi's gauntlets, to the candles and the dummies, to the fact that it's in the last place that vander, claggor and milo were ever alive. and then of course she kills silco and fires a bomb at the council.
39. do you think anything should have played out differently? all in all, i have very few complaints about how the show played out. i think its a masterpiece. i would however have liked to know the fucking name of ambessa medarda's boytoy twink. sorry, it just irks me that i don't know.
51. do you have any characters that you would like to see have a heart to heart? yesss! i would love for viktor and jinx to have a heart to heart about their similar experiences and particularly, i think it would be very fun to see them do science together, particularly after viktor loses his last lab partner to piltover (and his last assistant to being a pile of dust) and i swear i have more articulate thoughts but im writing this and its like 2:15 in the morning. ask me again when im closer to coherence.
52. do you have any characters that you hope take a more serious role? i would love for ekko to have a more serious role, but if it means that i have to suffer through more heimerdinger then its just. i don't want it. i need for the chem barons to be a more active part of the story, and i think they will be, given the power vacuum left after silco's death. i doubt sevika will rise to power, as she's always presented herself as being a independent, but a follower. she followed vander, and when it was convenient to her, she followed silco. she's loyal to her idea of a free zaun, but not enough that i think she would take up that role. sevika knows her strengths, and they don't lie in leadership. i could be wrong tho, but either way i would like her to become more central to the story. i hope that singed takes on a more active role in the plot, for the reasons i said earlier. i just want to sink my teeth into his backstory. and finally i would love for ambessa's twink to take on enough of a role that i would know his name. certainly, he was on an airship.. airship fight.. maybe?? (please)

hello i was wondering if you wouldn't mind doing arcane characters with a really tall reader (coming from a tall person themselves) and if it's not too much of a problem if it is than it's fine but if you could add caitlyn as well (only if your ok with it because i've seen you only do jinx, vi, silco, vander, and some more i cant think from the top of my head which i'm fine with but i was just wondering) ok thank you 🦀
a/n: i have "am i a man or am i muppet" stuck in my head while writing this @just-some-lesbian
warnings: none(?)
characters: jinx, vi, caitlyn, viktor, jayce, silco, vander
Jinx
🕷 She wouldn't probably admit it but she really likes your height
🕷 Jinx is on the shorter side so she uses your height to her advantage
🕷 She will jump on your back randomly with no warning throughout the day so be careful
🕷 I can see her wearing one of your shirts and imitating you when you aren't around
🕷 "is that my shirt?"
🕷 "no, it's mine now."
Vi
🕷 If you're taller than her, I can see her kind of pouting about it
🕷 Don't think that'll stop her from pushing you up against a wall though
🕷 Always tells you to duck before you go through a doorway
🕷 Calls you 'Mighty Y/n' because you're so tall
🕷 She might get shoes that have a bit of a heel to them but if you question it she will outright deny it
🕷 "did you get taller?"
🕷 "no."
Caitlyn
🕷 I can see Caitlyn having a preference for people on the taller side, they don't have to be taller than her but if you are I can see her liking it
🕷 Caitlyn was probably a bit insecure about her height growing up, but eventually grew to love being tall, so whenever she sees you hating on your height she shuts it down immediately
🕷 Because you two are close in height, you can borrow each others clothes
🕷 She gently smacks you whenever you wear her clothes and try to do a british accent
Viktor
🕷 Viktor doesn't have much of a preference when it comes to height, in fact he's more interested in the way his partners think
🕷 Not to say he doesn't have a type because he does but he cares more for personality
🕷 If you borrow one of Viktor's vests and it's too small on you he will buy one that is too big for him just so you can wear it
🕷 He'll wear the vest every once in awhile so when you wear it it smells like him
🕷 When he's working on one of his inventions, specifically high up, he'll make you stand there and hand him tools
🕷 "you know, i can help if you want? i can reach up there without a ladder and you can just tell me what to do."
🕷 "no, you could get hurt and even with instructions you don't know what you're doing"
🕷 "do you know what you're doing?"
🕷 He just makes a face and tells you to hand him whatever tool he needs next
Jayce
🕷 Jayce probably actively looks for taller significant others because he's a literal giant
🕷 So he probably loves that you're tall, easier for the both of you because you don't have to bend your neck at an unholy angle just to look at him and he doesn't have to hunch over too much whenever he goes to kiss you
🕷 sorry short jayce simps
🕷 He can probably still use your head as some kind of arm rest though
🕷 Your shared apartment has high ceilings and high cabinets accommodated for your heights
🕷 One time you almost stepped on Heimerdinger by accident and Jayce will never let you live it down
🕷 "i told you i couldn't see him!"
Silco
🕷 You're probably taller than him because he stands at a pretty average height, but your height makes you look intimidating so he usually has you around when he's questioning someone he suspects is a rat
🕷 Like Vi, I can see him getting shoes that have a bit of a lift to them
🕷 You being taller than him does a little damage to his ego but he won't admit it
🕷 Silco has a habit of grabbing you by the collar and forcefully bringing you to his level so he can tell you something
🕷 Probably calls you 'His Goddess/God'
Vander
🕷 He loves you just the way you are so he doesn't care about your height
🕷 But since you are on the taller side, your job at The Last Drop is putting things on high shelves and being some kind of bouncer alongside him
🕷 When you're in private, I can see him swooping you off your feet and kissing you
🕷 If you guys are having a quiet moment you two just press your foreheads together

*ahem* wow okay so a couple things
one, I'm not a jinx stan. I have mad respect for jinx but I'm a Vi stan through and through
two: the first half was s1
three: Jinx had every right to want to fucking murder someone (yes Vi) who ended up on the side of her oppressor and released poisonous gas into the air as if it wasn't already bad enough
four: she was a literal child trying to help her family...and its not her fault piltover is so shitty that one of its enforcers decided locking up a child was a good thing to do for her safety...pleaase the fact that you think that's jinx fault is so funny and sad at the same time.
Five: Vi makes an ablelist remark too calling jinx delusional twice but you dont seem to care...
and who tf is victimizing jinx lmao?? I'm saying she was done dirty. I never said she was a saint, I never said she didn't hurt Vi. I'm saying she's at a point in s2 where she loves Vi way more than caitlyn does but somehow the writers think she's the issue...when the oppressive system they've lived under has always been the real issue. When cait's over here calling her people animals, gassing them, and never says even does something as little as saying sorry to vi for any of the shit she's done to her. There's no remorse on her part at all...not even to that small degree. everything you mentioned is the result of piltover's bullshit, and quite frankly i couldnt give less of a shit what jinx does to them, fuck them. they can burn. they are the problem. And jinx's case is one of the many where i can say an apology isn't warranted or needed, one because Vi's the one who flipped to the oppressive side, and two, jinx does things in s1 that you cant wash away with "sorry", but instead just makes an effort to be better in s2. Unlike cait, whos arc is just garbage. One of the writers literally said she would be second in command to ambessa if not for vi. that mf has no moral compass on her own. Jinx can do good whether vi is there or not. Not to mention jinx and cait's actions are not and never will be on par bc of the amount of power caitlyn has...so yea figure it out
this shit is hardly mental gymnastics just common sense
neither jinx or cait say sorry for anything they do, both of them have done shit that cant be undone with sorry, but again, jinxs actions will never equate to caits one, and she actually makes an effort to show vi she cares and has genuine moments w her. cait literally could never and were just left with "microexpressions" n shit
thinking about how these writers literally outright say jinx was the issue in Vi's life while also having cait show no genuine love for vi in any way
Tumblr media
Jinx was the one who pulled her out of her pitfighter arc. Cait was too busy going through with martial law to even be bothered to give a shit where Vi was
Jinx was the one that even after everything Vi had done and how angry she was with her, wanted to still be a family with her. To build their family back together, to have Vi be apart of her life along with Isha.
Jinx was the one who found Vi's father and went with Vi to a place where they could heal, stay, and help them out and again...be happy together.
When I tell you these writers can go fuck themselves. It was JINX who loved her sister genuinely, who had looked out for her when the person they put her with in turn couldnt have given less of a shit. just being a dictator and sleeping with someone else. only having Vi be the thing that stops it from happening again...and even that isnt a guarantee considering she hit vi in act 3 for trying to ground her.
WHAT. ARE. THEY. SMOKIIING??? Jinx is literally the one that loves Vi the way she deserves and is the one who loves Vi DESPITE what she cant do for her... im sorry im just angry with how dirty they did jinx and the fact that they literally think shes the problem like??? WTF??W?ASFDJASDJFD

HI DAAARLINGG
how are u? i hope you having a good day, i would like to do a request to one of my favorites writers, maybeee jinx x fem reader who is a fashion icon?? maybe a supermodel, stylist, something like that! have a good day <3
heyyy bestieeee!! im alright thanks for asking! i cant believe you said im one of your favorite writers. you make my heart go boom boom. YOU have an AMAZING day <333
anyways, what a cool idea!! so creative. i had a lot of fun writing this
.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~.~
🌌 Jinx w/ a Fashion Icon S/O 🌌
🌌 What actually caught her eye about you first was the outfit you had on. As soon you passed by Jinx you drew her attention towards you. She had never seen anyone dressed like you before. Immediately walked up to you and complimented your outfit
🌌 Being that Jinx is so creative, she’s a huge part in your design brainstorming process. Her mind never runs out of colorful, new, inventive ideas so that’s especially helpful when you’re experiencing a block.
🌌 One of your fav things to do with Jinx is going out into the fashion district and people-watching. You guys have a lot of fun in spotting cool outfit designs, or brainstorming ideas on how to make someones outfit better.
🌌 Going to the mall with her is a dangerous game. Jinx will encourage you to try on every outfit you think is cute and will also throw pieces at you that she wants to see you in.
🌌 She’s always fixing up your sewing machine for you and lets you use her as a clothing stand dummy when you’re pinning alterations together on clothes.
🌌 Jinx’s mechanic butterflies actually inspired a leather line of yours. You presented the sketches along with the final designs to her as an anniversary gift. Her favorite piece is the leather jacket with the butterflies littered across the back.
🌌 She planned a date night where you both amped up some plain pieces of clothing you both had. The clothes you make with Jinx always become your favorite articles to put on.
🌌 Whenever you have a show Jinx pumps you up and encourages you up until the moment you go behind stage. She’s always right in the front screaming her lungs out as soon as you step out.
🌌 After a show Jinx litters you in praise and affection. She tells you how good you did and how amazing you looked. Is super eager to see the high-quality pictures and videos later.
🌌 Is always offering to take pictures of and with you whenever you guys go out. Takes candid photos of you constantly. When Jinx meets a new person she always ends up showing them your Instagram.
🌌 Gets really jealous when scrolling through your social media. Will argue with gross people in your comments. Isn’t afraid to post you and show you off. You’re like 80% of her posts she’s literally obsessed.
🌌 If you spam her with photos and videos she won’t answer for about an hour because she’s too busy making edits of you. She’s honestly your biggest fan. Posts the edits on TikTok.
🌌 Jinx made a separate tiktok for you guys’ fashion/relationship content. Posts couple outfits, thrifting dates, the clothes you make together, and get ready with us videos.
🌌 Always bothers you when you try on clothes from your PR packages because they just fit you perfectly. She can never keep her hands off of you.
🌌 Loves to dress you up in her style. Calls you her perfect little doll. Says that she’s jealous of you because you can pull anything off.
🌌 Has a bad habit of stealing cool fabrics from the expensive shops in Piltover to give to you.
🌌 Is always bragging about how creative and talented you are. If someone compliments something she’s wearing that you made she’ll immediately boast about it. Inventor of “Thanks my girlfriend made it!!”
🌌 Compliments you in artistic ways. Says that you’re a one of a kind design and that the gods took their time with you. She gets a little dramatic at times and will say that you were carved by Michelangelo himself and polished off by the tears of angels.
🌌 You were the first person to take her measurements. Before you she was always just guessing. Her clothes were either a tad bit tight or way too big.
🌌 Asks you for help deciding on a size when online shopping. When you ask why she can’t do it herself she says it’s because you pick them the best.
🌌 Keeps gifting you thimbles for some reason. Very much crow find shiny thing, give to human.
🌌 Makes you cute little pin cushions and gives you them when you’re feeling down. The first one she ever made you was a raccoon.
🌌 Always asks, “Trinket can you make me this!?!” while showing you a random article of clothing/outfit she saw on social media.
🌌 One of your most memorable dates was when you guys made tie dye tops, shorts, bucket hats, and socks. Tik Tok loved it too.
🌌 Started crocheting after she met you. Keeps making you guys matching hats.

Hello! I love your talks about Arcane. Your words and thoughts always make me realize so much more about the story. Would it be ok if you talked about the scene where Silco talks to Vi outside where she used to grow up, What do you think he meant when says that ‘jinx is so much more than he ever imagined and that he ‘freed her candidly’ the tone seemed more soft and his word choice seemed very calculated. Why do you think he thought it was necessary to say those words to Vi right then? (His tone was hard for me to read there)
Then Silco has his whole rage fit after the sign falls and Vi and Caitlyn escape. I know he was furious but I’m not sure if there are any other emotions layered that I’m not picking up in that scene. I wanted to know your general thoughts on it if you have any.

OOOOOOOOO i LOVE me some Silco analysis!! Lets Go! <3
Also thank you for the kind words!! holy cow >.< im not worthy!! This is gunna be a long one so im posting a read below to just... save peoples scrolling XD
Silco is such a *wonderfully* complex character and he has so much behind everything he does; or at least this is how i feel. I briefly touched on this topic in a different post about how i feel Silco did not plan on killing Vi (i think it was that post.. maybe it was a Silco/Jinx father/daughter analysis.. i cant recall now >.< ) So, man, ok.. where to start... So in that scene.. hmm no ok wait. Lets back it up ok, Silco/Jinx leading up to that scene is really important to set the narrative for explanation so forgive me for reiterating events here but: - Jinx "defended" the shimmer shipment - Silco argued in Jinxs defense against Sevika - He talked with Jinx and advised she distract herself with her gadgetry - Jinx decided to bomb a bunch of enforcers and get the gem - Silco learns of the attack; we dont see who from but we know its NOT Marcus because he comes to confront Silco separately later - Silco dad-style yells at Jinx but forgives cuz gem - Silco argues with Marcus, again in Jinxs defense - Jinx medicates Silco and he tells her to focus on weaponizing the gem - Jinx has her freak out from the magic acting up - Jinx goes to the arcade (ironically while Vi and Cait are eating at Jerichos) - Silco gives one of Jinx's bombs to Marcus to use as evidence against the Firelights - Jinx expresses to Silco she cant handle the magic trauma - Silco takes Jinx out to the water and has a heart to heart - Jinx successfully works on the gem - Silco learns Vi is alive - Silco sends out an order to all of his staff to "grab" the two girls that kicked Sevika's ass - Bartender Thieram/Chuck tells Jinx about the order - Jinx is suspicious that she wasnt included or made aware of the order - Jinx confronts Sevika in Silcos office - Silco confronts Marcus in Marcus' home - And then finally Silco gets word from the shimmer addicts of Vi's location and goes there himself *whew* that was a lot.. but its important. Notice how in all of this, every time Silco has an interaction *about* Jinx he is totally on her side? Their relationship is super solid at this point and it seems like, at least to SOME extent, Silco is aware of the state of Jinx's mind. Given how open these two are with each other and how they relax and show their true vulnerable selves to each other, i would guess Jinx has had fits around Silco as results of botched missions or other trauma triggers. We also see how casually Jinx talks to her apparitions both when alone and with others which makes me feel like she does this around Silco a lot too without receiving any judgement etc.
So i want to point out something very specific here. While Silco did do basically an all-hands-on-deck type of order among his goons to look for Vi and Cait, he went HIMSELF to the location as soon as he learned exactly where she was. He did not look for Sevika to go with him either. He wanted to be the one to handle this himself. This tells me that, while he is willing to use all resources available to him for this task, it is a personal task and not a business one. This also helps clearly define exactly how he perceives Jinx. She is not "just business" or "just a lieutenant". This is why we see his tone and mannerisms change so drastically between how he talks to Singed and Sevika vs how he talks to/about Jinx.
I think that, for Silco, this was a VERY personal matter. All he had likely heard from Sevika was that Vi was looking for Jinx. Silco went all hands on deck because of the threat of someone taking his daughter away.
So, Silco is used to using intimidation and power to get his way. When he confronts Vi, note that he is unarmed BUT he is definitely utilizing that same body language to express his power and influence to build an intimidating presence. He has two goons with him who are armed but not in any stance to fight. Weapons are slung on their shoulders etc.
I feel that Silco had one objective here. Get Vi to give up on Jinx. His tactic for this was two parts. First to make Vi feel too weak to take on the fight and second to make her think that Jinx wouldnt be interested in leaving regardless. I also believe he did not want to kill Vi. This is important. He knows what Vi means to Jinx. He would not risk word of him killing her get around to Jinx.
Thus his speech. "Vanders prodigy, i regretted that we never had the opportunity to speak" He is trying to impose his intelligence over her and seem un-phased by her return. I think he is being honest here and had actually originally planned to try and turn her to his side. He knew from Sevika that Vi was wanting to fight Piltover when the topic was brought up in the Last Drop. He also heard stories from his younger underlings that he had keep eyes on Vanders kids that she was a good fighter. He then seems genuinely offended by the question "what have you done with my sister?" Remember that Silco does not see himself as a destructive or bad person. Most of the people in the undercity support him and he himself sees the bad parts of what he does as "the base violence necessary for change".
So when Silco responds with "I've freed her. Candidly, I thought you were the prize of your secondhand family." We see an interesting and subtle shift in his expression to Vi. When talking about Jinx, there is some life and passion in his expression and tone. Then he looks around for a moment and when he stares back at Vi his expression is icy and devoid of any emotion aside from.. boredom maybe; his tone changes to match. I think Silco means what he said about freeing Jinx. He has helped free her from a lot of her insecurities, he does not restrict her movements or actions or try to snuff out her violent interests, and he protects her from consequences from the law. In his mind, he has freed her of anything that could be holding her back from reaching her true potential. But the second part, while i *do* think he had intended to flip Vi before the warehouse fight, i think he actually means this as the setup for an insult. He searched for those words for a moment. They were calculated. He wanted to hurt Vi with what he says next.
"but... Jinx... Ah~ she is more than i ever imagined." While Silco says these words he is, once again, more expressive. Even leaning his head back and taking his eyes off Vi to visualize his daughter, and his words are so soft.
Silco knows that Vi is a sensitive topic for Jinx even years after the event. A huuuge part of me feels like this is sorta... parental vindication. I thought you were great, but then i saw your sister. I believe Silco wants to hurt Vi with his insult as a small penance for what Jinx has endured emotionally. Silco values power and would assume most others do as well. So telling Vi she is weaker than the girl she abandoned would be a fabulous insult in his world. Because, to be clear, Silco *does* think that Vi abandoned Jinx. He only had Jinx's word to go off of with this and there would have been ZERO info about Vi looking for Jinx after the bomb since Marcus had captured her. Silco truly believes Vi abandoned a crying Powder to be killed by, well, himself.
So i think he is trying to shove it in Vi's face that she discarded someone with so much potential. 'You left her and made the wrong choice.' and twist that knife in til it hurts.
I like how Vi responds to this with "im gunna find her and erase whatever fucked up delusions you put in her head"
So Vi heard those few sentences and clung onto "i freed her" and "she is more than i imagined" and interpreted those as Silco maybe drugging her with Shimmer, manipulated her, or whatever else to make Jinx into this version of herself. Then Vi say she is FIRST going to target Silcos criminal empire and Silco replies with that same bored tone suggesting he feels completely in control and once again exuding power to intimidate Vi. "You dont know your limits, girl. Its what got Vander killed. What drove your sister away. And its why im here right now." again, doubling down on the whole effort to make her feel like this is an imposible task and her sister wouldnt want to return to her anyway. So then stuff happens and the rage fit and i do think there is a lot mixed in here. He is, of course, mad that he got bested by a child but more than that its Vanders Prodigy. So for Silco this has getting defeated by the ghosts of his past written all over it. Plus, he didnt successfully manipulate Vi to giving up on Jinx so there is also still the risk to his daughter leaving him. His effort to intimidate wasnt working. And finally he lost her. He doesnt seem like a man who takes loosing very well. And with her maybe 30 feet away, he lost her. One of the people he raises up and hits on the head during this fit is one of his body guards. Likely annoyed that they didnt have the foresight to see that risk or that they didnt pursue Vi during the chaos. He also stomps violently on the shimmer addict informant that told them of Vi's location. We never see Silco get this emotional. Never. I think he is honestly panicing that right at the final stages of seeing his fight for the Nation of Zaun, everything is falling apart. Vi is back, Jinx is struggling with the weapon, Marcus is turning on him, etc. But the way he responds to all the other bad news is exasperation... the way he responds to the threat to his daughter from his former betrayers prodigy is visceral rage.. i think it definitely sets the tone for how important this matter is to him. I also really like the symbolism of him standing in the center wreckage of the Eye of Zaun. Like his empire is shattering around him. Idk, i feel like it really reflects where he is at right there.
So anyhow, to put it simply, i think this was a personal issue to him, not a business issue. He definitely is a mad dad looking down the person who abandoned his daughter and caused so much shit in her head for him to deal with. And the possibility of Jinx leaving him for his betrayer's prodigy is something he is *very* worried about.
oof im really good at long.... o.o sorry >.<
