sometimes i think about Before I Sleep and i wonder what happened to the others that were in the other jumpers. when elizabeth and radek and john were all in the time travelling jumper there was a bunch of others stuck in one of the ships and john goes âstandbyâ and then disappears (into the past) and i just canât help but wonder what happened to those other people. did they figure out a way out? the bay roof doors never opened so could they even find a way out? did they think they got left behind on purpose, or did they think something bad happened to john and the rest? did they just get stuck in that jumper, trapped and scared and slowly dying? idk why but i have so many thoughts about those poor people
#i think about this show way too much#but i just rewatched this episode and i have so many thoughts#those poor people#sga before i sleep#oh my god i JUST came to the realization that old elizabeth never knew teyla#they never went to her planet#i wonder if the wraith still wouldâve gone to her planet#tbh iâm still unsure if the wraith came bc john activated the necklace#or if they were just already coming and just happened to show up when they were there

Okay, not me losing my mind because I just listened to an interview of Nic & Newts and Luke said that Colin was going to be angry when he finds out Pen is Lady Whistledown... We are getting angry Colin and I'm so curious now to know what extent/how mad Colin will truly be at Penelope.
I've been driving myself crazy with how the show intends to reveal Penelope as Lady Whistledown to Colin. There are just so many different ways it could be revealed, and what Colin's reaction to it might be. I have a feeling it will somewhat differ from Colin's reaction in RMB but every time I try to think of what his reaction could be, it still never seems right.
On one hand, Penelope wrote about Marina being pregnant, which didn't negatively affect Colin besides being thoroughly embarrassed. She also wrote about how Daphne had no suitors and could've been chosen wrong as the diamond. She also wrote about Anthony's failed wedding and called him a Capital R Rake (rightly so, as he was one). And we can't forget when she wrote about Eloise consorting with radicals. On the other hand, Penelope saved Colin from a loveless marriage, saved Daphne from marrying Nigel Burbrooke, and saved Eloise from the queen's wrath. I wonder if Colin will think that Penelope was using her friendship with Eloise to get Bridgerton gossip, or that she was doing it for the money, or even just to be evil. There are just so many routes that they could choose to go down in season 3. I personally think that Colin is going to end up feeling betrayed and used, but I wanna know what do y'all think his reaction is gonna be?

don't you want to be a cult leader? - danyal al ghul au
this is mostly a joke post but i thought it was funny and had to share so--
his first mistake was, obviously, inheriting his father's inability to see an injustice and stand still. -- actually, danyal's first mistake was his lair being so big. a mountainous island with a large temple in the center resembling his old home in Nanda Parbat? With sprawling foliage and rivers and streams and waterfalls galore? What was he going to do with all that space? Let it go to waste? He had plants there! Native trees of the ghost zone growing from the soil! He couldn't let it all be left unchecked!
So naturally after helping a fellow teenage assassin ghost -- who he later learns is named Akihiko, -- from Walker of all people, he sent them over to hang low at his lair until it was safe enough for them to wander around the Zone. Walker couldn't get through Danyal's astrofield if his life depended on it, and trust him -- he's tried. Danny was clearing out debris from his stupid transport vans for weeks.
Honestly it wasn't so bad, he and Aki really quickly became fast friends and Danny loves having a sparring partner close to his level again -- he hasn't had this much fun fighting since he left the League. Aki was very dedicated and levelheaded, the both of them clicked really well because of it.
Nonono, the real trouble began after Danyal met some long-passed League members and allowed them to come join his island as well. Apparently they had made a few enemies of the zone, and maybe Danyal still felt some loyalty to the League. He couldn't just let them be left to rot. Their zealotry could be overlooked so long as they kept it contained and helped him take care of his island.
And it.. snowballs from there? He meets a teen squire aptly calling himself Ambroise -- whether that was his living name or not is yet to be seen -- who died during feudal france, who is just about as dramatic and passionate as every french stereotype makes them out to be. He calls Danyal "my moon and great muse" -- which is both flattering and little uncomfortable, but Danyal's grown up in the League as the Grandson of the Demon Head, he is used to mild worship. he passes it off as nothing more, nothing less. -- and while his energy is overwhelming on the worst of days, he helps Danny draw out of his shell more in ways that Sam and Tucker still struggle with.
Him and Aki butt heads a lot, but the two seem to hold the other in at least some positive regard, so Danny doesn't worry too much about them fighting while he's gone. It only becomes a mild issue when Aki also begins calling Danny "my moon". It's a little sweet, so Danyal brushes it off.
Then he takes in a troupe of ghosts some time after he defeats Pariah Dark and they begin calling him "great one" just as the yetis do in the far frozen. This is where he meets the twins -- a pair of sibling ghosts who call themselves Trixie and Missy (short for Trick and Mislead) -- who aren't quite as passionate as Ambroise but more energetic than Aki. Eventually they also start calling Danyal "my moon" and attach themselves to his hip, even within the living. They like to hide in his shadow and cause trouble for the rest of the students. He makes sure they don't hurt anyone.
He's pretty sure Aki is jealous, same with Ambroise, but he can't be too certain other than the fact that they become much more lingering (re: clingy) whenever he visits the island.. Something he's trying to do much more often these days due to the increasing amount of people living there now. Since when did he become so popular?
Then there's PÄnelĂłpeia from the Greater Athens, who ran away from home and joined his Island after he ran into her while she was being chased by Skulker -- and he's pretty sure the reason was because of her chimeric appearance. Her strange eyes and mismatched wings and lion's tail and talons. She assimilates into his friend group very easily, she gets along well with Ambroise and Trixie and Danny usually finds the three of them climbing the trees to pluck the most fruit from the top. They can fly and he knows it, but they prefer to climb.
Then finally there's silent poet Akkara who comes from ancient mesopotamia, who gets along most with Aki -- which is no surprise there considering their similar personality dispositions. he watches Aki and Danyal fight each other and leaves comments on this or that that he notices. He writes Danyal poems on clay tablets and leaves them by his room.
They're one big mismatched group of outcasts, and Danny's got the other ghosts on his island to tend to, because they're living on his island and he wants to be hospitable even if he struggles with that. But he spends the most of his time with them.
Sam and Tucker are making fun of him. Tucker jokingly tells him 'careful Danny, at this rate you're gonna start a cult'. Danny really wishes he had taken that joke more seriously.
He just. keeps. collecting people. Wayward souls lost in the zone, looking for shelter or refuge from something or other -- whether that be another hostile ghost, or a past afterlife, or just a purpose. Danyal finds them, he takes them in, offers them a place on his island until they are ready to leave. Many seldom do. He's not complaining -- he has the space, and it feels like it's only ever growing.
His close friends, his "inner circle" as he's heard the others call them, keep insistently calling him "my moon". He starts calling them his stars, because then it only feels fair. They're his stars, this is his constellation. It becomes a thing; little star halos begin forming behind their heads, picking them out from the rest. He loves them so much, it's hard to place. Sam and Tucker are also his stars, but they reside in the living realm, they're his tie to Life. Meanwhile, his friends here know what it's like to be dead, and sometimes its nice to relate.
Those living on his island keep calling him "Great One" and he's beginning to notice zealotry in their care for his island. He really, deeply appreciates it. His close friends gain nicknames -- as his stars, it's only natural for him to pick them out from the cluster in the skies. Akihiko, his Sirius and bright star. Trix and Missy, Castor and Pollux, the twins and troublemakers. Ambroise, his zealous Antares and close friend. Penelopeia, chimeric and loyal Vega. And Akkara, his Arcturus and strength.
It's ridiculous how long it takes for him to notice; he is, of course, a deadly trained assassin. He is meant to be observant -- and normally he is! But somehow this becomes a blind spot. One that becomes too big to be dealt with by the time he realizes it.
He should've noticed when Aki, his Sirius, stood beside him one day while Danyal looked over his island and saw the sprawling spirits carrying on about their afterlife and bowing to him as they saw him, and said: "I looked down into the depths when I met you; I couldn't measure it." They aren't one for flowing prose, it took him so off guard he was silent for over a minute before he finally spoke.
Danyal should've recognized devotion for what it is, and yet he didn't. He should've recognized it when Antares began spouting praises about him, crowing about his radiance and resplendence to the heavens. He just brushed it off as Ambroise being Ambroise. He should've recognized it when Trix and Missy nearly broke Dash's leg after he knocked Danyal's books out of his hands, he excused it as them being protective. Of them coming from times where such violence may have been customary -- after all, that's what he used to be like. What he was still like, sometimes, when his emotions nearly got the better of him.
He should've noticed it when the people living on his island followed his word like gospel, looked at him like he hung the stars in the sky. When his friends gifted him a shawl with the moon phases delicately embroidered into it, with silver, shimmering thread and moving stars lovingly stitched into it. Their constellations seen clear as day in the dark fabric. When he found small shrines dedicated to him -- but they lacked any image of him beyond stones carved to look like moons, so he ignored it. When the religious imagery began popping up.
He really, really should've noticed it when a bunch of cultists accidentally summoned Antares, and Antares had turned to him when he arrived and called them heretics. But he was so centered on the fact that they had kidnapped one of his stars, that he hadn't paid much attention to what Ambroise had said.
Sages say that faith is blind, they should also say faith in you is even blinder.
It really only hits him one afternoon while he's sitting in Sam's room studying with Tucker, Missy and Trixie lounging at his feet, Aki sat on his right, Penelopeia braiding his hair, Ambroise draped against him, and Akkara lurking over him. Its one of the rare few times they're all in one room together.
It hits him like a bolt of lightning. He looks up from his textbook. "Oh Ancients," he says in no amounting shock. Everyone looks up to him.
"I've become my grandfather."

Danny, the Young Justice member snippet nr 2
these snippets aren't connected in anyway but just some little scenes I came up with, everyone is welcome to build up on them if they want to
Trigger warning: death mentioned, self-harm mentioned, idk, Danny gets flashback to portal incident
unrelated snippet nr 1, unrelated snippet nr 3 (?)
Out, out, out.
He tripped over his own legs and almost fell and it didnât matter because he needed to get out.Â
Away, away, away.Â
He wasnât sure if he ran or flew or dragged himself on the rough floor but he had to get away. His back hit a wall and he couldnât get past it, intangibility just out of his grasp.
He logically knew that Zeta Tube wasn't the same as the portal but it was similar. So deadly similar.
He wasnât sure when his own, corps-like, trembling with rigor mortis cold hands started rubbing his arms. He also wasnât sure whether it was to comfort himself in this lonely self-hug or to try to rub hard enough that the hazmat and skin underneath would be torn, allowing him to see his own, red blood running in his veins. It was still red, right? It was still red, right? Of course it was still running, why wouldnât it?
His knees gave up. He fell to the ground with quiet reverbatting thump, his eyes fixated on danger at the other side of the large room. He had to get further away but he couldnât.
Because he was dying again.
Eyes full of tears and terror were jumping around, unable to see the room around him. Why couldnât he see anything? Why were there only splashes of various colors, all contrasting with a light gray background. Were these people? Colors were moving, that seemed likely. Ghosts?! He had to get ready if these were ghosts he needed to fight them. People could be in danger and he couldnât even stand without support. He started it, he had to take care of it, no matter how he felt right now.
His normally overly, unnaturally sensitive ears were filled with constant electric buzz from still active Zeta Tubes.
He was quite sure someone was yelling something but no matter what, Danny couldnât understand what was being said. He tried looking around again but his teary eyes still failed him. There were no red stains though. Not in the right shade at least. No one was bleeding. It was okay for now.
Was it really? He hadnât bled when he was dying had his accident though. It was all inside him, the crushing hollowness inside him and infinite outside pressure making his body implode. Ectoplasm bubbling in his mouth, throat, stomach and fingers, silencing his scream of agony and destroying his muscles. His limbs were limp and tense, twitching like a broken light bulb, out of his control but not out of his senses. It was so cold that it bit his bones and so hot that his skin was melting. There were screams so loud that it could shatter glass, as if every inhabitant of the Ghost Zone wanted to be heard and absolute suffocating silence. He was alone like nobody ever was and stuck in a stifling crowd that could stomp him to death any second. It was all contrasting, impossible but happening, existing together. He lived died it.
It was impossible, just like him.
There were others, they could help while Danny got himself together.
They couldnât help if it was a ghost. He had to calm down and get ready to fight.
He couldnât.
It was all happening again.
He was dying again.
It hurt to even think about.
Would it at least kill him for good?
Air he hadnât needed before, not since his first death he always needed, like all functioning, alive human beings, got stuck in his lungs. He was gasping for it, choking on it. There was something stuck in his throat. SOme part of his brain that wasnât screaming in agony and panic and loneliness had considered tearing his neck open just to get whatever was stuck swallowing but it didnât help.Â
He rubbed his arms harder. His eyes were locked on a blurred, still active portal. One of the color blobs moved, growing larger but he couldnât think about what it meant. His arms hurt. It was good. Pain was grounding. In a gray room with few portals. Not the basement. Ghosts still could be there but it wasn't a basement. He still needed to get ready to fight
If he could feel pain, it meant he was alive, right? Ghosts never showed that they felt pain right? His parents always said they couldnât.
He knew it was a lie but he felt like it was his last hope.
He realized that growing group of colors actually looked like a person but he had no way to tell whether they were alive or not. His ghost sense was quiet but he didnât trust himself to not miss it. His throat was still shut tightly. His body kept twitching like a glitching character. No matter what, he couldnât fight right then. He had to get himself together.
He scratched his arms almost violently.
Warm, soft, gentle hands pried his palms away from his arms. It wasn't a ghost. Ghosts weren't this gentle, this calmingly warm. Someone, someone who was alive, was crouching in front of him, face at the same level as his, hiding portals from his sight. Danny nearly sunk into their gentle touch.
â-om." their voice also was so gentle, filled with concern but firm enough to get to him over the buzz of portals. He tried to concentrate on this voice. He didn't want to hear portals.
"-ntom." It sounded like they were calling someone. He had to focus more to understand. Gentle grip on his wrists got more firm. There he was. He wouldn't feel it if he was dying again.
"Phantom." They called quietly, like little windbells Sam gave him as a birthday present. It was his name, they were asking him something he couldn't understand, something he couldn't do.
"I'm sorry."
He wasn't sure if any sound came out of his mouth.
Grip on his hands loosened a little, not enough for him to do anything about it, but enough to return to the pure feeling of safety and reassurance it gave him before.
âIt's okay Phantom." they murmured. Danny nearly cried at their kindness and calmness. Air slowly started to fill his lungs again. It truly was okay, he wasn't dying again."Can you focus on five things you can see for me?"
He could do it. It wasn't much to repay the gentle person kneeling in front of him.
He blinked tears away and started the list in his head.
Black Canary in front of him.
Superboy in the middle of the room. He looked like he didn't know what to do.
Kid Flash next to him, ready to come to where Danny was shaking on the floor.
Robin and Artemis both made sure that Kid stayed where he was.
Miss Martian for sure feeling his panic and having trouble coping with this. He should calm down as soon as he can, he didn't want to cause any of his teammates too much stress.
Danny nodded, looking once again at the only adult hero in the room.
Molecules in his body were rearranging again. It all hurt.
"Thank you Phantom. Can you focus on four things you can hear?"
Five racing heartbeats.
One heartbeat that sounded more like buzz because of its speed. KF's heart was always weird.
Tapping of someone's feet.
Zeta Tubes.
He had been in the portal again, it had turned on with him inside again. He was dying again.
Next cautious nod.
"Alright. Now three things you can touch." Black Canary still sounded so calm, so sure she had it all under control. So contrary to her panicked heart. Danny wanted to believe her voice.
Canary's hands still on his wrists. In fact she was touching him more than he was her, but it still counted. There was some physics rule about it.
Cold stone he was sitting on. Weird, he was sure this cave was heated.
Hard wall pressing on his spine.
"Excellent. Two things you can smell?"
Jazz had done same exercise with him before.
Cookies made by Megan before she went on a mission.
Ectoplasm. Somewhere there was ectoplasm that wasn't inside him. He couldn't smell his own ecto. But there was no ghost in the cave. His sense was silent. It was there somehow else. It was concerning but not enough to make him panic again. They could handle it.
His lungs were still aching but air started filling them nearly as much as it did normally. His limbs stopped shaking so much too. He knew he wasn't dying this time. He was calming down.
"You're doing great Phantom. Now think, what's one thing you can taste?"
Aftertaste of ectoplasm he spat between the rough fight and the moment when Kid Flash rushed him to the nearest Zeta Tube, talking about medical attention. Danny tried to tell him, he didn't need that but he was inside before his explanation left his mouth.
"Do you feel better now?"
"Yeah," It was all he was able to say at the moment. He truly felt better but that didn't mean good. It was only a little less bad than shitty, one step from fully dead.
I considered writing continuation with Danny explaining a bit what happened and how he even ended up in Zeta Tube but a) lost spark to rewrite it b) hated what already had But if you want, I can probably rub my remaining two braincels together and continue. Or someone else can. Do it if you want to. Do it. Do it
#dp x yj#dpxyj#dp x dc#dpxdc#dcxdp#dc x dp#once again Danny didn't even consider telling his team that he is halfa#but it doesn't matter this as much I think#once again I have no idea about the timeline#I think Danny would hate Zetas because it reminds him too much of the portal incident#and before anyone comes at me saying that Danny used portal later in the show and had no problems with it#*yeah* but after first time portal worked like overglorified door/corridor hybrid and not tear him apart and build up again#Judging by the way Zeta travel is animated#i assume they work on the âdestroy your current body remake it where you won't to goâ basis or something similar#you can see how Danny would be uneasy with it#btw this is one of my main headcanons I can and will always use unless story demands something eles#but even then I'm not above looking into every other way to achieve plot without use of Zeta or make at least mention that he is shaken aft#anyway#have a nice day dear stranger who got to this part

A devastating and confusing thing about the Fallout setting, when you explore the pre-war aspects, is what the creators think about pre-war America. In the first games we only get hints of the pre-war world, but they seem to be some sort of wild fascist nation invading Canada. In Fallout 1, the first thing we're introduced to of the pre-war society is seeing a soldier shoot civilians and laughing.
Now, for the first 2 games and New Vegas we don't really know much. What we know is that there's a fascist military group known as the enclave who were a sort of US deep state even before the war, and that the government teamed up with corporate interests to preform vaguely MKULTRA-ish experiments with the Vaults. Basically, the government was an extreme version of the 50s American jingoism and McCarthyism.
This is well and dandy, I guess issues come up more when we get to the later games, especially 4, where it seems like none of this extreme plotting and societal civil unrest which would exist is seen. The society as presented in 4 also seems quite progressive, gay people are featured in the opening, and none of the baggage of say, civil rights not existing are included. Now on a baseline, I don't want settings to be more conservative, homophobic and sexist etc., but it becomes a very confusing setting when it's displayed both as this jingoist extreme thing with fascist tendencies aswell as a progressive place where everyone is seemingly equal. If you're focusing on the 50s as your setting, and American nationalism in the 50s, then you can't have McCarthyism spoofs and anti-communism as a societal paranoia norm while also general equality is the norm without misunderstanding why McCarthyism and nationalist jingoism is bad. A massive harm done in anti-communist paranoia is how it degrades and vilifies any progressive movements (women's rights, civil rights, homosexuality) as being morally un-American and therefore connected to communism. To ignore this just makes any critique of MacCarthyism and jingoism weird!
Basically, pre-war America in Fallout 4 becomes this both sides thing where America is both pure and equal and white fences in every instance that we see as the player (the intro), while also supposedly being this dystopic MacCarthyist hellscape that's broadcasting gladly about their war crimes in Canada, and wants to root out communism. I guess the only fix for this issue without getting into the fine print like they had to do is just not to focus too much on the pre-war world.
#fallout#fallout 1#fallout 2#fallout 3#fallout 4#fallout new vegas#fo1#fo2#fonv#fo4#I'm almost half-way through the show#it suffers from this too but whatever I'm just going to count it as it's own thing#it gets a pass or whatever. telling a video game story and telling a tv-series is completely different#they can do what they think is useful.#We see a bit of what the I'm talking about in New Vegas with mr house being able to be that rich etc#but new vegas cares more about the fallout of Fallout 2 + new ideas than some pre-war America. The most we get is like Poseidon energy and#Raul. but Raul doesn't really care that much about the details of the past world#his life seems pretty normal. it's not that important.#dead money and owb did this like... Okay. wasn't too bad it was fine. I don't like those DLCs too much. Dean Domino is whatever

I've had this pose ref saved for a while and the Superman set photos just gave off the same energy đđ»đđ»
The reference is this photo of Katharine Hepburn as Antiope and Colin Keith-Johnston as Theseus in the 1932 play 'The Warrior's Husband' (and I'd love for people to turn into a draw your otp meme pls pls pls this pose is so good)
And also, of course, the Superman (2025) set photos
#superfamilyweek#superman#dcu#clois#lois lane#clark kent#i was actually gonna post this a few days ago but then i found out about the superfamily week#it wasn't made for it but i hope you can accept this humble offering even if it doesn't really fit the prompts#art#digital#fanart#live-action#dc#regular#final#colour#this actually from june when the set photos came out and i just got completely obsessed and went into a clois haze#it all looks so good though!! the whole thing!!!! i'm vibrating with excitement just thinking about it!!!!!!!#if this film isn't good i'm gonna be sooo disappointed you guys have no idea how much i'm looking forward to it#but anyway. ART RAMBLES: as i mentioned on the tags of my last drawing this piece gave me SUCH a headache#i think it's probably cos it was just supposed to be a quick sketch so i used a more stable pencil brush#but then i really liked it so i decided to properly colour it instead of just doing the watercolour thing i usually do for sketches#but with finished pieces i like the lineart to be kinda messy and the sketch to even show through bit#and since i used the more stable brush for the sketch it ended up looking WAY too clean. not like my stuff at all.#so i just started throwing stuff at the wall to see what could make it more interesting. full background! actual lineart! texture layers!#and this here is what i was the happiest with. i don't... love it though. it should be looking way more interesting given the pose#and then i also did the purge girl halfway through this and it looked SO good right out of the bat (pun intended)#so i went a bit into a spiral. did some realistic stuff i'll post soon. and now am trying out a thick black lineart style.#(i'll definitely still use the coloured lines for the sketchy watercolour stuff though. it just looks way too cute)

some more comic panels I liked :>
#Hilda and twig: twig experiences a microaggression#hilda the series#Hilda and twig hide from the rain#this comic is lovely#it fleshes out twig and how he views his place in Hildaâs life in a way that feels like a natural continuation (or prequel ig) to the show#thereâs some little nods to the show too which is fun#man I didnât realise how much Iâd missed the comics#the show is AMAZING but thereâs just something about the pen drawing style and colour palettes and comedic beats in the panels yknow#and despite luke making it to be more geared towards younger kids than the OG comics were#(I believe he said the idea came from seeing how his daughter struggled with the OG comics#and he wanted something that was more âbedtime storyâ material)#but this feels exactly the same as the others#itâs just things are arranged a little differently across pages for easy following. the panels are bigger and the story is smaller#i think itâs sweet that the core feel and writing remained and itâs just more accessible to younger kids now#anyway thatâs my ramble lol#also I liked the robin that got given one (1) breadcrumb and pledged allegiance to hilda instantly#best character

Mikey and Leo episode centered around Mikey wanting to push Leo and Draxum together since Leoâs the most reluctant to give Draxum any grace (for good reason!) But, thinking on the spot, Leo says heâs gotta go do something for Hueso and âjust canât hang out right now đâ (yes, he says the emoji out loud.)
Mikey calls his bluff and now the three of them (Mikey having grabbed a weary Draxum along) go to Huesoâs to find that yes, he actually does have a job for him. Said job asks for Leo to go with Hueso to deliver multiple pizzas to this giant yokai quite a distance away, and Hueso figured it would probably go better with Leoâs help (emphasis on probably.)
Well, Mikey decides that this would be a great bonding opportunity for them and basically invites he and Draxum along. Unfortunately for Leo, Hueso doesnât care enough to wave away more help, though he does side-eye the wanted criminal Baron Draxum coming with them. But who is he to judge? (This choice has consequences.)
The journey goes about as terribly as youâd expect, but at least the pizzas get delivered on time.
#rottmnt#rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles#rottmnt mikey#rottmnt leo#rottmnt draxum#rottmnt hueso#listen you donât understand#imagine mikey trying to get leo to accept draxum as a father figure only for this to push leo to purposefully turn to Hueso instead#idk I love when this accidental flaw of Mikeyâs is explored and I think it meshes well with Leoâs own AND fits nicely with their dynamic#100% this ends with Leo & Hueso bonding and Mikey & Draxum bonding and Mikey & Leo bonding and even Hueso & Mikey a bit#but notably only a little Draxum & Leo - because itâs important that Leo isnât forced to accept him imo#Leo realizing during all his denials of Draxum that oh you know who he DOES think of as family? Hueso#Draxum is trying mainly for Mikeyâs sake#Hueso is too tired to care about all this family drama but is reluctantly worried about Pepino#Mikey just wants one big happy family because - thatâs just easier yâknow?#he tries so hard to work with everyoneâs emotions that he just wants things to be easy for once#he wants love and family to be easier than it is - than has BEEN lately#gimme that heart to heart Mikey & Leo moment in this regard#by the end Leo DOES raise Draxum up a bit from âcomplete distrustâ to âmild side-eyeâ#but itâs a long ways off if he ever gets pushed into the family tier#and also#SO MUCH SLAPSTICK COMEDY and sarcastic comedy in this episode fr#and if youâre wondering-#yes they DO fight the Yokai monster theyâre delivering the pizzas to#but they get paid so itâs whatever#kinda wanna attempt to copy the style of the show and make fake screenshots of this ïżœïżœïżœepisodeâ ngl

Get in the fucking biograft, Shuriken. (EVANGELION/PHIGHTING!)
(og screenshotâs/cover under text!) Why hello there to my tumblr followers, itâs been a awhile /silly
ANYWAYS!!! Guess who recently finished the EVA franchise minus the rebuilds and has been in a horrible chokehold over it, this anime ruined my life but hey at least its intro theme is niceâŠâŠ
Well, I wanted to draw some stuff for it! All together these pieces took exactly 48 hours and 20 minutes⊠with the cover-piece taking ~35(?) of those hours. These were⊠very, VERY time costly safe to say LOL,,, I am super, SUPER proud of how the cover came out though, everything on it was drawn, colored, rendered, edited, whatever, BY HAND stroke by stroke (as you can see below)
The text, the lineart, the shadows, the colors, the snowflakes on the bio and Shuri, EVERYTHING was done by hand, it was horribly time costly but it did come out very, VERY well in the end I would say (fun fact! I also didnât originally have the textless version of the cover, and I had to trace all of the lineart for bioâs tophalf by just guessing what line when where and what the hell was going on /silly)
this was a very, very hard project to do all together, but it was also a really nice learning experience too, Iâm happy i did it thatâs for sure :3!
(og screenies + cover)
#its. Done#ho. ly.#FUCK#its finally done#48 hours of work later and Iâm FREEEEEEEE (lie) /silly#Eva has been rotting my brain into oblivion recently#I am oh so traumatized and mentally disturbed but man this anime does hold a very special place in my heart#And so does PHIGHTING! which is why this exists /silly#So! About this#This isnât an au- not really at least. I donât think I could live with myself if I made this a serious au#I love Eva with all my heart but I feel like itâs just a little too mature to combine with something like phighting LMAO#I donât want to be the reason why some poor 12 year old finds out about EVA and then is subsequently traumatized for life because an#Artist they like combined the two /j#Okay seriously though yeah! This is really just a fun little âwhat ifâ situation- bascially of what characters would be who and how would a#Small bit of the world building work#Other then that I have been trying to avoid putting much thought into it#Credits to my friend Torch for getting me into this hell-show by the way /vsilly#art#artists on tumblr#phighting#digital art#phighting roblox#phighting fanart#phighting art#roblox phighting#phighting!#evangelion fanart#neon genesis evangelion#the end of evangelion#neon genesis fanart

Blood Blossom Au: before the nightingale sings
---------
for my batdad blood blossom au, the one where Vlad poisoned Danny with blood blossom extract and Danny ran away from him and ended up tumbling into the care of one Pre-Robin Battinson Batman :). A quick oneshot telling the tale of the tragic deaths of the Fentons
TW: Major Character Death Warning
-------
Not all deaths are created equal.
That is a valuable lesson in life to learn. One that Danny learns when he is eleven years old, standing in the pit of his parentsâ creation; the culmination of their lifeâs work. The portal to the other side, the realm of the dead. To the infinite.Â
He learns that when heâs eleven years old, in a hazmat suit that sags on him, and boots that clunk when he walks because the only ones that fit are his momâs, and even those are too big. In gloves that he has to clench his fists in because otherwise they fall off. In goggles that slide down his nose even when heâs tightened them the farthest they can go.Â
He learns that when heâs eleven years old, choking on giggles that harmonize with the laughter of his friendsâ who stand at the mouth of the tunnel. Samâs holding a polaroid in her hand. Theyâre just being kids.Â
Theyâre not laughing when Dannyâs hand hits the safety lock â the one with faulty wiring, the only one in the tunnel. The only one he could possibly hit. Theyâre not laughing when the portal buzzes to life, and the lights inside switch on row by row as the generator begins to rumble and hum.Â
Theyâre not laughing when Danny dies. Theyâre screaming. Theyâre not screaming when he comes back.
Not all deaths are created equal. Â
Some are poetic, beautiful. The satisfying close of a book as it comes to an end, of the hardback thumping soft against the pages like the sound of a door closing. A train run its course.
Some are violent; unsatisfying; unfair. The unexpected shattering of an egg as it rolls off the countertop when nobody is looking, the unmistakable crack as it falls to the floor. It is abrupt and messy.Â
But most are just⊠unremarkable. Unintentional. Clumsy.Â
Dannyâs family dies one night in late January. He is thirteen years old, barely a month away from fourteen. It is unforeseen. It is preventable. It happens.Â
It happens like this:Â
Their water heater breaks one Monday in January. Itâs old, sitting in the garage, and has dealt with nearly sixteen years of Fenton-grade chaos and shenanigans. Of parents tossing scraps and junk into the garage as brief storage to come back to later. Of illegal tune-ups on their vehicles that result in something exploding. Of little children running around and knocking things over, playing with poles and sticks they find on the ground, on the shelves. Of being lived and used. Â
Something had to give.Â
Jack Fenton notices it immediately when he comes upstairs that very afternoon â his children at school, his wife downstairs â to grab something from the garage. The very same scrap and used material they store like squirrels to use later.Â
He stops what heâs doing to fix it. Â
It wasnât supposed to be permanent.Â
Despite what many believe, Jack Fenton is not the idiot people make him out to be. He knows what heâs good at, he knows what heâs not. He knows he can be passionate and obsessive and single-minded about things. He knows that he is a scientist, an inventor; an engineer.Â
He knows that he is not a plumber. That fixing water heaters is not something he knows how to do, not safely. And he loves his family. What he does is only meant to be temporary â a fix meant to only last a few days until they can call someone in who can fix it for them.Â
So Jack Fenton futzes with the water heater, gives it a temporary stitch to last a short while, and reminds himself to call a plumber later that day to come in and fix it. He turns and leaves the garage with the part he came for â a sheet of metal for his wife to melt down â and disappears back downstairs.Â
He does not make that call; it slips from his mind.Â
It is not his fault.Â
One day passes, then two, then suddenly it is Thursday. The water heater has still not been fixed, the water heater has been forgotten. It is nobodyâs fault. Â
Danny asks his parents at breakfast if he can stay over at Tuckerâs house for the night. Just one night. Theyâre going to study for their math test and then play video games until midnight, but he only tells his parents that first half.Â
Heâs been doing well in school. Really well â better than he has in a while. Thereâs been a delightful lull in ghost appearances for the last few weeks. The living donât know why, but Danny does. The Winter Truce always calms the dead down for a while, something about how the Zone cleanses itself twice a mortal year and that fresh wave of ecto clears out the old and brings in the new.Â
This year Danny got to participate. Heâs feeling the effects of it too, and heâs been sleeping consistently well for the first time since the accident.Â
Itâll never happen again.Â
His parents agree under the condition that he doesnât stay up late, and Danny harmlessly lies through his teeth and agrees. He goes and throws overnight clothes into his school backpack, and when he leaves for school with Jazz his parents are already departed into the lab.Â
The last conversation he has with his sister is in her car on the drive to school. Inane, mindless conversation to fill the air and pass the time. Jazz comments on how relaxed heâs been lately; Danny tells her about the Winter Truce. She listens in rapt attention.Â
She tells him that sheâs glad to see him so well-rested. She thinks her little brotherâs been growing up too fast these days. She thinks heâs been too tense. Too caught up with the spinning of the world around him that he forgets about himself sometimes.Â
When they reach school, before Danny can get out of the car, Jazz looks to her little brother and says; âI love you.âÂ
Her little brotherâs cheeks turn an embarrassed shade of red. He makes a scrunched up, grossed-out face, but canât hide the smile pulling across it. âDonât be a sap, Jazz. Iâll see you later.â He tells her, yanking his hood up over his head. She hears the bashful, âlove you tooâ before he walks away.Â
That is the last conversation she ever has with her brother.Â
Thursday is unremarkable, passing by in its normality as it always does. Thereâs one, maybe two ghost sightings; shades lurking around in curious infancy that are easily spooked away by the presence of a greater being. Danny doesnât even have to go ghost.Â
Thursday evening is even less so. Danny goes to Tuckerâs house â Sam has a prior arrangement with her slam poetry club â and the two of them study for an hour before they toss their textbooks aside and reach for the game console.Â
Danny sleeps in Tuckerâs room with one of the extra blankets on his bed, curled across the room in one of the bean bag chairs. It shouldnât be comfortable, but to Danny it is. He sleeps throughout the night, the portal shut down by his parents before theyâd gone to bed.Â
Early Friday morning, before the sun has even risen yet, before itâs even so much as a concept to grace the horizon, the water heater breaks again. It was supposed to be fixed.Â
Carbon monoxide is a silent killer. Odorless and scentless, it kills within minutes. It fills the house like a shadow casting over the ground, creeping into the rooms.Â
Dannyâs family die in their sleep; painless and unaware.Â
Itâs not Jack Fentonâs fault. He didnât mean to. Â
Nobody wakes up with their alarms.Â
Danny wakes up to Tucker Foleyâs alarm on Friday morning, and he turns his head intangible and shoves it into the beanbag chair like an ostrich hiding its head in the sand. Tucker gets up before him, and throws a pillow at him as he reaches for the alarm.Â
Thereâs laughter, messing around. The both of them get dressed, and Danny has breakfast with the Foleys that morning. He takes the bus to school with Tucker, and they meet Sam by their lockers.Â
To him, everything is as normal as it should be. There are no ghosts for him to fight right now, school is as school does, and heâs on top of all his schoolwork.Â
He does not see Jazz at all that morning, he doesnât notice. Their schedules are so different, their routes on different paths, that itâs not uncommon for Danny to not see Jazz until he gets home some days. Thatâs if thereâs no ghost attacks.Â
At lunch, he gets approached by her friends. Worried creases between their brows, they ask him if heâs seen Jazz. She hasnât shown up to any of her classes. Sheâs not answering their texts. Itâs unprecedented of her; unheard of.Â
Danny doesnât admit to the concern that swells in his gut when they tell him this. He shrugs at them, and says he hasnât seen her either. But it was probably nothing to worry about; she might just be sick and sleeping it off.Â
He offers to text her and let them know if he gets a response, and that seems to ease her friends enough that they shuffle away in uncertainty. He keeps his word, and does exactly that. He pulls out his phone and opens her contact, and shoots her a message.
âWhere are you?âÂ
He doesnât get a response back, Danny is left on sent. He puts his phone in his pocket, and with a sense of unease creeping in the back of his mind, goes on with his day. He gets no response by the time the final bell rings; and he tries not to be worried.Â
The house is quiet when he opens the door. Unusually quiet. He drops his backpack to the floor, it lands with a hearty thunk, and begins to take off his jacket. âMom! Dad!â He yells. He hangs it up, and slips his shoes from his feet. âJazz skipped school today!â
A laughable untruth that would get his sister all riled up normally; she should be able to hear him from the front door if she was in her room. The house just stays dead silent.Â
He canât even hear the usual banging and crashing from the lab. His unease returns. He reaches for the intercom that leads directly down to the basement, and presses the button to turn it on. A burst of static, and then he speaks;
âMom? Dad?âÂ
Danny lets go, and waits for a response. He gets none back. That never happens, not when the house is this quiet. Not when he knows they shouldâve heard him.Â
Something sickly and fearful borns in the pit of his stomach, and begins to snake upward. He heads for the lab. The cool metal of the door is familiar in the grooves of his hand, and he doesnât even need to think about the code as he punches it in;Â he simply lets muscle memory guide him. Itâs been the same since he was little.Â
The door hisses as the pressure is released, and he swings the door open. He takes the stairs down two at a time. Something is wrong. His parents arenât answering him. His feet pound against the metal.Â
âMom? Dad?â He calls again, more worried, more frantic. More scared. His voice echoes down the stairwell, and he reaches the bottom before itâs fully faded. The lab is empty. The portal is still shut down.Â
It was four in the afternoon, they should still be down here.Â
Danny races back upstairs, fear-raised nausea coiling in his throat. âThis isnât funny you guys!â He yells when he reaches the top, shoving open the door with more force than necessary. His head swims, his voice cracked.Â
He checks the garage, the car is still there.Â
âMom!? Dad!â His voice bellows out throughout the first floor, loud enough that it bounces back at him and rings against his ears. Heâs never raised his voice this much â mom would scold him if she heard him. But she doesnât show up. âJazmine!âÂ
Finally, he goes upstairs, and he canât tell if what heâs feeling is anger or terror. Something is very, very wrong.Â
He swings the door of his parentsâ rooms open first, and there they are, with the lights still off and the curtains still drawn. As if they hadnât left their bed all day. Some of Dannyâs fear lifts from his shoulders just by the sight of them, but heâs still trembling. Something is still wrong â the room smells⊠off. Not good, not bad. Just⊠off.Â
He swallows dryly, his throat still thick, and steps into the room. âMom, dad?â They do not stir. âDidnât you guys hear me yelling?âÂ
There is only room static. Dannyâs heart shrivels in his chest with a tenfold return of terror, he feels ill. He remembers, just now, that theyâre not heavy sleepers, and his dad should be snoring like a freight house.Â
Danny reaches their bedside in seconds, hand outstretching for the covers, âMomma? Dad?â
Not all deaths are created equal.Â
But many of them are accidental. Unmeditated. Shocking.
Danny Fenton finds his family dead in his childhood home. He runs to his neighbors in hysterics, inconsolable, in tears. Nine-one-one is called, but there is nothing that can be done. They were dead for hours by the time Daniel Fenton returned home.Â
He sits on the front steps of the neighborâs house beside FentonWorks, his jeans slowly becoming wet from the snow that was unable to be scraped off, and watches the paramedics cart out his family beneath white sheets. There are police cars blocking off the street, yellow tape blocking off his house, red-blue lights lighting up the block, an ambulance on the scene. He is wrapped in a shock blanket, and he is missing his jacket and his shoes. His tears are freezing onto his face, he canât feel the chill.Â
Not all deaths are created equal
But all of them are unforgettable.Â
