Hi, Ben!  I’m sorry you didn’t sleep well, and I hear you on the whole comfy couch problem.  If I didn’t have to work today, I would be having the same problem (I mean, I’m still having it, but without any possibility of indulging it.)  I’m glad your binder arrived and that it’s working out so far!  I hope it stays comfortable!

Omg, I saw the post about the whole “looking off into the distance/sure is a beautiful view” trope, and realized that 1) I’m apparently an absolutely weak bitch for that nonsense and didn’t even know it, and 2) I now really want to work the trope into a scene in the dating fic, but I don’t know where, how, or which of those two dumbasses I want in which role.  XD  Because at this point it really could work for either.  (At least I hope the fact that the pining is mutual is coming across, anyway.)

I may have cry-laughed at the US Capitol/Mordor joke, and that parrot post is hysterical.  A customer once told me a story of how they’d lived in England for a while and had a parrot, and their brother-in-law put one of those keychains in its cage that played REALLY inappropriate phrases when you pushed a button, and the parrot loved it and learned all the phrases, and then they had to re-home the bird with a vicar’s family when they moved back to the US.

I’m gonna vote coffee or cinnamon with chocolate.

I would totally be here for it if you ever wanted to do posts for Stiles and Noah like the one for Eddie.  And I love the idea of Noah as a cuddle monster (that needs to go in my mental pile of things to use in a fic at some point.)

And I am LIVING for all the Din/Luke memes.  It’s so ridiculous, I haven’t even seen the freaking show yet, but I am absolutely here for it.

While I’m generally pretty glad I skipped the last few seasons of TW, it does make me happy knowing that Hoechlin, Ian, and Linden all got Saturn Award nominations for various of them.

And holy shit that new preview!  First of all, YAAASSSS!!! to anything involving Helen Mirren, but also, Ben.  BEN.  Why do I have a bad feeling about this in the most traditionally Star Wars way?  I have questions that you still haven’t answered directly, and I have the most terrible feeling about why, and I can’t decide if I want my theories to be wrong to spare the characters some excess pain, or if I want them to be right because then HOLY SHIT WHAT???!!!  I’m even more curious about what might come to light next chapter than I was, and I didn’t think that was possible.

Also, I firmly believe Peter has dressed up as Lucian at some point (assuming Underworld exists in that universe.)  The biggest question is, was it before or after the fire, and did he talk anyone else into coordinating with him?

Honestly, I’ll live, I just haven’t been able to do much today due to it. Which sucks but I’ll live you know?

I did get off the couch and went for a short walk, though it didn’t help much since there were a lot of kids at the park today and my sanctuary wasn’t a sanctuary for long.

Ooh I didn’t know about the Saturn awards but I’m happy for them! Honestly from what i’ve seen in the later season, they deserve those nominations.

Oh you can’t see me but I have a wicked smile at reading these theories and speculations about chapter fourteen and a part of me wants to answer but that’ll ruin the fun I think. It’s gonna hurt is what I’ll say.

And Underworld IS a thing in this universe, it’s the movie the teenagers are watching while babysitting Ben in one of the earlier chapters. It’s actually mentioned by name. So yeah, Peter would have dressed up as Lucian on his last two Halloweens before the fire. (Underworld came out in 2003, the Hale fire was 1 year later in Jan 2005.) Maybe he roped Laura into it with him for some extra angst? And he’ll probably do it later down the line for a random party. Roping Chris and Noah into it as well.
