I can't imagine being anywhere near as insane as Trump supporters because my dad told me that he, earlier, drove past a guy putting a "Harris Walz 2024" sign outside his house and decided to yell out at him "TRUMP 2024 YOU COCKSUCKER" and flip him off. And he laughed when he told me because he thinks that yelling at a man (emphasized man because he thinks men should be "better" than women, and "better" would be voting for Trump in this case) who is voting for a "whore who slept her way to the top" (his exact words) is funny. And expected me to laugh with him. And got angry when I didn't and just stared at him in disbelief. Even though he already knows that I don't like Donald Trump. These people fully expect others to find their weird ass derogatory words and behavior FUNNY. Donald Trump is leading a cult of old people who he brainwashed into being delusional with him.

And I was going to put this in the tags but I feel brave today, but I get really irked sometimes with people saying his falling apart after Billy pushed him was overdramatic and comes off as humorous instead- i think people just get uncomfortable because loud and raw weeping like that is uncomfortable to look at and when people are uncomfortable, they sometimes laugh to break up how awkward they feel.

Yeah, Hawkeye was crying like a little kid in that scene. Because when he was a little kid, someone that he looked up to probably more than anyone- someone that he might have thought was his best friend- pushed him into a pond and let him sink before fishing him out; to top it all off, Billy made it seem like it was his fault for "falling in", and all Hawkeye said he could do in response was "thank him". And he kept that bottled up for years and years, never letting the truth surface, until he was subconsciously reminded of what happened and it demanded to be reckoned with.

what they dont tell you about being slightly brainrotted about undertale aus is that sometimes you will have sick as fuck ideas for how to "fix" certain aus you dont really vibe with but be very hesitant about actually wanting to talk about it because you do not have enough brainrot about the specific characters that would fit better to do it justice outside of drawing it like once and then never doing anything with it ever again

one of the details in bullet train that I stay completely obsessed with is the fact that the actors had to bring so much of their personal effects on set as character dressing pieces, and therefore brought so much of themselves (by visual proxy) into the production. it was a fortunate byproduct of the pandemic during an unfortunate time, but added so much dimension to the characters themselves. 

all tangerine’s gold jewelry and his wristwatch, except for the saint christopher necklace, belong to aaron taylor johnson and can often be seen on his person when he’s doing press or generally out and about. lemon’s purple sunglasses and beanie from the johannesburg scene: part of brian tyree henry’s personal collection. ladybug’s collection of patchwork tattoos and all the bracelets and silver jewelry he wears are brad pitt’s. idk if the other actors had as much personal influence on their wardrobe in the film but I fucking hope so, it’s such a neat little thing...and weirdly makes them feel all more authentic in a way? because the items in question aren’t made as part of an anonymous costume, they’re things these guys wear and keep at home

This is far from my best work, but it's 1:30am, and I needed to get this down before I slept or lost my mind. So here, take a snippet of Rook seeing Zara again for the first time in 3 years.

Trying, and failing, to keep his voice from shaking, [Rook] said “Hello, Captain.” Mouth still open in surprise, [Zara] replied “Well, hello yourself.” The reality of what she was seeing seemed to hit her as she rounded the desk. “Rook, is that really you?” He nodded. “It’s me.” Zara ran towards him, stopping just short of touching him, and said “What did she do to you?” Rook’s heart stuttered and he had to brush his fingers together to confirm Sigmar’s ring was still in place. Could she possibly see through its illusion? But then he remembered what Lanny had said. She knew where you were. His throat clenched and he choked out “Two years.” A wave of grief swept across Zara’s face as she said “I’m so, so sorry.” Rook shook his head vigorously. “It’s not your fault.” Zara ignored him. “It is my fault. I failed you. As your captain, it’s my responsibility to keep you safe, and I failed you.” Rook wanted to say something, to reassure her, but she pushed on. “She sent me letters, told me all the terrible things she was doing to you. I… I let you down.” Those words hit Rook with the force of a dozen cannonballs. Lanny had said that Zara knew Wolf had him, but knowing that Zara had been aware of what Wolf was doing to him… somehow that was more painful than any wound Wolf had ever inflicted. He barely managed to force his next words out around the lump in his throat. “Where were you?” And why didn’t you come? “She said she’d kill you if I came to get you. Or if I hired anyone to get you. You’re standing here because I stopped sailing.”
