Okay, so, firstly. I have a Thing™️ about Hanahaki disease. It's real and true. And this is a good idea. It is not a crack idea. In my personal opinion. Hob Gadling is so in love with life that it overwhelms the Hanahaki disease. Because Hob Gadling has never loved any individual person more than he has loved being alive. So maybe he falls in love. Maybe it's unrequited. Maybe the personification of dreams and nightmares is everything that he ever wanted in a partner and also incredibly hard to love, but it doesn't matter. Because he loves being alive and he says it, constantly. Every day. All the time. he loves being alive. he loves living, and so even when he develops the first few buds, they never overwhelm him. They never grow beyond a minor inconvenience. Because Hob loves being alive and confesses it ever day, every time something wonderful happens. Every time he gets a flu vaccine or a woman goes on maternity leave and comes back well and her baby is also well. Every time that he says it, says that he loves life, he holds the flowers at bay for a little longer, and he says it so much that they will never overwhelm him.

I’ve done it... again

I got stuck at home for two days, and decided to try my hand at rewriting the Star Wars Sequels like I’ve been threatening my friends with since we first watched them all that time ago. Like, there is so much stuff there that could have been great, except they ruined it, because of course they did, so I went feral and channeled my inner martial arts movie and dark sci fi fantasy hind-brain and now you lot are gonna be stuck with it when it's done. I don’t even think I’ll write it like a full novel, just a script and concept art of what could have been if Disney had the nerve to even put in an effort.

(Oh, and I’m still going to bring back Palpatine. They let that cat out of the bag, you know I’ve got to try and make it make sense. It’ll probably never work, but I can still try. I’ll upload the general plot later.)

anyone who says different is lame, my love is complex, varied, and fathoms deep. they are in my standing will and testament (their shelves will hold my trinkets best), I would drive across the country to help them move, they are the cast to my dreams, I write funny little stories about us going on adventures, I think about what I am going to mail them all for Christmas and save up to make it happen, I count the days and months until I can visit them again, and yes, when I used to leave their apartments with cheeks rosy from drink, when I drop off the discord chat, when I sign my postcards I tell them that I love them. I all but scream it at them. some of them say it back, some don’t. sometimes I don’t notice either way. I am full to bursting with my love for them and I will make sure they know it even if it kills me.
