What is the funniest mistype/autocorrect you have ever found in your own work during editing? I had the classic annually/anally the other day and had to take a time-out.

I actually can't remember anything funny in my own writing; my go-to funny typo story is actually someone else's, and it was a combination of a typo and a censor on an old internet forum.

Back In the Day I was on a Proboards forum for the fandom I was then writing for, and it automatically censored swear words. We were all foul-mouthed so eventually this was turned off, but this was early days when the mods were still figuring out how everything worked (none of us had really worked with Proboards before). Instead of blocking out words, the censor changed them to something non-offensive. 'Bitch' to 'pregnant dog', 'shit' to 'nuts' etc. (the last one is relevant to the story). People used to directly post their fic to the forum instead of hosting it on a third-party site (this was Before the Time of Ao3 and a lot of people didn't like FF.net). One member posted a chapter of her fic, and in it was a scene with one of the main characters in a club with neon lighting. There was a description of his shirt glowing under the lights...except that she had accidentally typed 'shit' instead of 'shirt.' And the censor changed it to 'nuts.' I was the first one to comment and had to be the one to break it to her that his nuts were glowing under the lights instead of his shirt.

Does anyone else enjoy watching dubs in different languages?

Ok so I fluently speak both english and spanish and sometimes I like to check out shows to see if they have good Spanish dubs (the latam version is almost always better than the spaniard one imo). I know some people did it with shrek growing up but i recently did it with the owl house and omg??? I was p impressed with the dubbing for latam (note that i only watched a few episodes from the first season, so idk what they did in regards to Raine's pronouns for the second season since we still got a ways to go in terms of introducing gender neutral pronouns into everyday speech (elle is what ppl would use but i rarely hear it outside of online spaces)) but in terms of voice acting it was very good.

I didn't get him (and I need to save my keys for Silver's birthday, sob) so I looked up his groovy, and I'm not over how incredibly dramatic and epic and cool it looks in direct contrast to the absolutely ridiculous context. just look at that dynamic action and his majestic sparkling tears and keep in mind that this is pretty much right after a bunch of characters have been dance battling for his soul.

and then even the actual moment of the groovy is just like

this is NOT a negative in the slightest, I love it all, this truly was an incredible update in so many ways

Do yall think sometimes Siffrin does normal human things that make sense but are deeply unsettling when you remember they dont remember their childhood. Like do you think Siffrin once woke up startled and shouted "Oh SHIT MY HOMEWORK" and scared Mirabelle who went to wake him up? Or they complained about not wanting to eat certain things cause it made them sick and their parents were upset about it when they were a child? Or they see a stuffed animal and buy it for Bonnie cause they wished they still had their stuffed animals when they were Bonnie's age? Or he sings a lullaby to himself when trying to fall asleep and Isa asks for its name and Siffrin just kind of shrugs and says it was what his mom used to sing for him? Just so normal and deeply ingrained but forgotten? Like I think that would be fucked up, yall think its fucked up? Also it would be mainly childish things cause ya fella ran away when they were a kid </3
