The crisp autumn air swept through the open ground of Hogwarts, rustling the golden and scarlet leaves scattered around the stone pathways. You adjusted your scarf, tucking it tighter against the wind as you made your way to the Care of Magical Creatures paddock. Having your common room close to the kitchens made it much more difficult to get to your classes all the way across campus. And now you were running late. Today’s lesson was a joint class with Gryffindors, a combination that usually promised chaos. You weren’t sure what was worse—the rambunctious Gryffindors or the Nifflers Professor Hagrid had promised would make an appearance.
In the nick of time you reached the paddock, Hargid hadn’t rounded up the class yet. AS you fixed your uniforms you spotted the telltale messy black hair of Yang Jungwon, Gryffindor’s golden boy. He was standing near a group of his housemates, grinning widely as they laughed at something he’d said. You tried not to look too long, but it was difficult not to notice him. He had a natural charisma that seemed to draw everyone in, his laughter infections even from a distance.
“All right, settle down, everyone,” Hagrid called, his booming voice cutting through the chatter. “We’ve got a special test today. You’ll be working in pairs to care for a Niffler. They’re cheeky little devils, so you’ll need to keep an eye on ‘em.”
You swallowed nervously. Working in pairs meant you’d be stuck with a Gryffindor for the next hour, and knowing your luck, it wouldn’t be one of the quieter ones.
“Let’s pair up then!” Hagrid announced, waving his massive hand to gesture for the students to group together.
You stood there watching as classmates mingled and sat down together. you were unsure of who to approach, when a familiar voice piped up behind you. “Looks like we’re partners.”
Turning around you found yourself face-to-face with Jungwon. His dark eyes sparkled with amusement, and his scarf was loosely draped around his neck, the crimson and gold clashing beautifully against his warm complexion.
“Oh. Okay,” you managed, your voice quieter than you intended. “Let’s do this, then.”
He grinned adjusting his scarf. “Try to keep up, Hufflepuff. Nifflers aren’t exactly known for being cooperative.”
You bristled at his teasing tone but bit back a retort. Instead, you focused on the small, mischievous created that Hargid placed in your hands. the Niffler’s tiny class dug into your glove as it sniffled around, its beady eyes darting towards Jungwon’s pocket.
“Careful,” you warned, shifting the Niffler slightly. “It’s eyeing your pocket. Did you bring anything shiny?”
Jungwon smirked. “What kind of student would I be if I did?” He pulled a golden Galleon from his pocket and held it up, hte coin catching the sunlight. The Niffler’s attention snapped to it instantly, and before you could react, it launched itself out of your hands and straight towards him.
“Whoa!” Jungwon stumbled backwards as the Niffler clung to his robe, scrabbling at his pocket. You stifled a laugh as your reached out to help, carefully prying the creature away.
“You’re not making this any easier,” you said, your tone laced with amusement.
“And you’re supposed to be the patient one,” he shot back, though there was no malice in his words. If anything, he seemed to be enjoying the banter.
The next hour passed in a blur of chaos and laughter. The Niffler’s antics kept you both on your toes, darting from one shiny object to the next. At one point, it disappeared into Jungwon’s bag, emerging triumphantly with a handful of Bertie Bott’s Every Flavor Beans.
“I don’t even know how those got in there,” he muttered, earning a chuckle from you.
By the time Hagrid called the class to a close, you were exhausted but oddly energized. Jungwon was leaning against the paddock fence, his hair slightly disheveled and a faint flush on his cheeks. He looked at you with a crooked grin.
“Not bad, Hufflepuff. You might actually have some Gryffindor in you.”
You rolled your eyes, though you couldn’t stop the small smile that tugged at your lips. “And you might have a little Hufflepuff. You were surprisingly gentle with the Niffler.”
“Surprising? I’m hurt,” he teased, placing a hand over his chest dramatically. “But I’ll take the compliment.”
Professor Hagrid dismissed the class and the adventures with the Nifflers came to an end. You thought your interactions with Jungwon would come to an end but before you left the room Jungwon caught up with you. The walk back to the castle was filled with easy conversation, much to your own surprise. Jungwon had a way of making you feel comfortable, even as he teased you relentlessly. By the time you parted ways in the Great Hall, you found yourself looking forward to your next Care of Magical Creatures lesson more than you cared to admit.
The following weeks brought more unexpected encounters. Whether it was passing him in the corridors or running into him during shared classes, Jungwon seemed to pop up everywhere. And each time, he greeted you with the same teasing grin and lighthearted banter.
One particularly chilly afternoon, you found yourself in the library, poring over a book on magical creatures for an essay. The familiar scent of parchment and ink surrounded you, and you were just beginning to lose yourself in the text when a shadow fell over your table.
“Studying? On a Saturday?” Jungwon’s voice broke your concentration.
You looked up to see him standing there, his arms crossed and a playful smirk on his face. “Some of us care about our grades,” you replied, raising an eyebrow. “What are you doing here?”
He shrugged, sliding into the seat across from you. “Looking for you, apparently. You left your scarf at the paddock yesterday.”
Your eyes widened as he pulled the yellow-and-black scarf from his bag and placed it on the table. “Oh. Thanks.”
“Don’t mention it,” he said, leaning back in his chair. “So, what’s the essay on?”
Against your better judgment, you found yourself explaining the assignment. Jungwon listened attentively, occasionally interjecting with a joke or question that made you laugh despite yourself. Before long, what had started as a quiet afternoon of studying turned into a surprisingly enjoyable conversation.
As the sun dipped lower in the sky, casting a warm glow through the library windows, you realized you hadn’t written a single word of your essay. Jungwon seemed to notice, too, because he stood up with a sheepish grin.
“Guess I’ve distracted you enough for one day,” he said. “Good luck with the essay, Hufflepuff.”
“Thanks,” you said, watching as he walked away. For a moment, you thought he might look back, but he didn’t. As you turned back to your book, you couldn’t help but smile. Maybe Gryffindors weren’t so bad.
-
The weeks following your unexpected partnership with Jungwon passed in a haze of routine and subtle anticipation. You’d find yourself scanning the Great Hall during breakfast or lingering just a little longer in the corridors, hoping to run into him. To your surprise—and slight annoyance—he always seemed to catch you off guard, his sharp wit and easy charm leaving you flustered more often than you’d care to admit.
It was late November when the snow began to blanket the castle grounds, transforming Hogwarts into a winter wonderland. Students bundled up in their house scarves, laughter echoing through the corridors as everyone prepared for the upcoming Yule Ball. It was all anyone could talk about, and despite your best efforts, the excitement was contagious.
You were heading to the greenhouses for Herbology when you heard a familiar voice call out behind you.
“Hey, Hufflepuff! Wait up!”
You turned to see Jungwon jogging toward you, his Gryffindor scarf askew and his cheeks pink from the cold. His smile was as bright as ever, and you felt your heart skip a beat.
“You know I have a name, right?” you teased, though your tone lacked any real bite.
“Of course it's Y/n,” he said, falling into step beside you. “But ‘Hufflepuff’ just suits you better. So, have you picked your Yule Ball date yet?”
The question caught you off guard, and you stumbled slightly on the icy path. “What? No! I mean… I haven’t really thought about it.”
He raised an eyebrow, clearly amused. “Come on, the whole school’s buzzing about it. Don’t tell me you’re not the least bit curious who’s going to ask you.”
You felt your face heat up and quickly looked away. “I’m more focused on my classes, thanks. Unlike some people, I don’t have time to obsess over a dance.”
Jungwon laughed, a sound that sent a warm flutter through your chest despite the chilly air. “You know for being so into your classes I would think you were a Ravenclaw but fair enough. Although if you need a last-minute partner, you know where to find me.”
“Is that your way of asking me?” you shot back, trying to regain the upper hand in the conversation.
“Maybe,” he said with a wink. “Or maybe I just like keeping you on your toes.”
Before you could respond, he gave you a quick wave and disappeared down a side path, leaving you standing there with a mix of confusion and something you couldn’t quite place.
“What the hell.” You muttered under your breath as you continued your walk to Herbology.
-
The days leading up to the Yule Ball were a whirlwind of preparations. Your dormitory buzzed with activity as your housemates tried on dresses and robes, debating hairstyles and accessories. You’d finally picked out your own attire, a simple yet elegant dress that you hoped would keep you from standing out too much.
The night of the ball arrived faster than you expected. And there you were standing at the mirror looking at your dress as your roommate talked about her date and what they were going to do after the dance.
“Y/n, I heard Jungwon asked you.” Yunjin, your roommate, decided to bring up.
“In a way, but I’m not going with him.” you said still looking in hte mirror trying to find any imperfections.
“Why? He’s really cute, plus I’ve seen you two talking like all the time.” You made eye contact with her through the mirror and she was smiling, wiggling her eyebrows.
“Calm down, we just met in class and he has just kept on talking to me. Anyways—do I look okay?” You turn to Yunjin with a worried look on your face.
She comes up to you and gives you a hug. “Don’t worry Y/n. Jungwon will think you look beautiful.” She teased.
You rolled your eyes not wanting to give her the satisfaction. "He's just a Gryffindor boy, not worth my time."
“Whatever you say. But I've seen the way to you smile when you're with him. Cmon let’s go, before it gets too late,” Yunjin takes your arm and you make your way to the dance.
The Great Hall was transformed into a magical wonderland, with twinkling fairy lights and shimmering icicles hanging from the enchanted ceiling. Students milled about in their finest attire, the air buzzing with excitement and the soft strains of music.
Yunjin had met up with her date and you were left standing near the refreshment table, sipping on a cup of warm pumpkin juice, when Jungwon appeared at your side. He looked impossibly dashing in his formal robes, the Gryffindor colors subtly incorporated into the design. His hair was neatly styled, but the familiar twinkle in his eyes remained unchanged.
“You clean up well,” he said, his tone light but his gaze warm.
“So do you,” you replied, trying not to let your nerves show. “I thought you’d be off charming the crowd.”
He shrugged, leaning casually against the table. “Maybe I’d rather be here. Besides, someone’s got to make sure you’re not hiding out all night.”
You rolled your eyes, though you couldn’t hide the smile tugging at your lips. “I’m not hiding. I’m observing.”
“Observing, huh?” He held out his hand, his grin softening into something almost nervous. “Care to observe the dance floor with me?”
For a moment, you hesitated. But then, something in his expression—the mix of confidence and vulnerability—made you reach out and take his hand.
The dance floor was crowded, but Jungwon guided you with surprising ease. The moment you stepped closer, you caught the faint scent of his cologne—something clean and subtly spicy that made your head spin. As the music swelled, you found yourself relaxing, letting him lead you through the steps. His hand was warm in yours, his touch steady but slightly trembling, as if he was as nervous as you felt.
“See? Not so bad,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper, a stark contrast to his usual playful tone.
You met his gaze and noticed the way his confident demeanor faltered slightly. His eyes flickered from yours to the space between you, like he couldn’t quite believe how close you were. For once, you couldn’t think of a single witty reply. Instead, you let yourself smile, feeling the moment stretch between you like a thread of magic, fragile yet unbreakable.
The steps slowed, and Jungwon’s grip on your hand tightened, as if he wasn’t ready for the song to end. When it finally did, he didn’t let go immediately. Instead, he leaned in slightly, his voice soft and uncertain as he said, “Thanks for the dance, Hufflepuff.”
“Anytime, Gryffindor,” you replied, your voice just as quiet, your heart fluttering wildly as he finally released your hand.
“You know,” Jungwon began, a hint of hesitation in his tone, “I wasn’t sure you’d say yes to that dance.”
“Why wouldn’t I?” you asked, tilting your head slightly. “It’s not like you gave me much of a choice.”
He chuckled softly, the sound almost self-conscious. “Fair point. But still… I’m glad you did.”
The sincerity in his voice caught you off guard, and for a moment, you forgot how to respond. Instead, you looked at him, really looked at him, and saw something in his expression you couldn’t quite place—a mixture of nervousness and relief.
“Well,” you said finally, your voice softer now, “it was… nice. Dancing with you, I mean.”
“Nice?” he echoed, pretending to be offended, though the slight upward twitch of his lips betrayed him. “I’ll take it.”
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t stop the small laugh that escaped you. “Don’t let it go to your head.”
“Too late,” he said with a grin, but there was a gentleness in his eyes that made your heart skip another beat.
But Jungwon didn’t stray far. Throughout the night, he stayed by your side, his usual teasing demeanor giving way to something more genuine. He made you laugh with stories of his misadventures in the Gryffindor common room, his eyes lighting up every time you smiled. The two of you shared more dances, each one more comfortable and intimate than the last, until the space between you felt almost non-existent.
As the night wore on, you found yourself wondering how you’d never noticed the way his laugh sounded like music, or how his presence made you feel like you belonged exactly where you were. Jungwon seemed equally caught up in the moment, his gaze lingering on you longer than necessary, his hand brushing yours even when there was no need.
By the end of the ball, it felt as though the rest of the world had faded away, leaving just the two of you under the enchanted ceiling, the stars above mirroring the spark between you.
Jungwon’s voice broke the comfortable silence. “You know, this has been the best Yule Ball I’ve ever been to.”
You raised an eyebrow, a teasing smile playing on your lips. “How many have you been to, exactly?”
He chuckled softly, the sound warm and a little shy. “Well, it’s my first, but… it’ll be hard to top this.”
You felt your cheeks warm at his words, the sincerity in his tone catching you off guard. “I’m glad you had a good time,” you said softly, looking down at your feet before meeting his gaze again. “I did too.”
His smile widened, and for a moment, he looked like he wanted to say something else. Instead, he hesitated, glancing around the Great Hall. The music was softer now, the crowd thinning as couples began to drift out.
“Do you… want to go for a walk?” he asked, his voice quieter, almost nervous.
You blinked in surprise but nodded, the idea of some fresh air suddenly appealing. “Yeah, I’d like that.”
Together, you slipped out of the hall, the crisp night air wrapping around you as you stepped onto the snow-dusted grounds. The moonlight reflected off the blanket of white, casting everything in a silvery glow. Jungwon walked beside you, his hands tucked into his pockets, his usual confidence replaced by a quiet thoughtfulness.
“It’s so peaceful out here,” you murmured, your breath visible in the cold.
“Yeah,” he agreed, glancing at you with a small smile. “I think I needed this.”
“From all your Gryffindor antics?” you teased lightly.
He laughed, the sound soft but genuine. “Something like that. It’s nice, though. Being here with you.”
You looked at him, your heart skipping at the earnestness in his voice. Before you could overthink it, you nudged him playfully. “Careful, Jungwon. You’re starting to sound sincere.”
“Maybe I am,” he said, his tone quiet but steady. The vulnerability in his eyes made your teasing smile falter, replaced by something softer.
The two of you stopped near a frozen fountain, the snow glimmering around you. Jungwon turned to face you fully, his expression hesitant but hopeful. “Thanks for tonight. I mean it.”
“You already said that,” you replied, though your voice lacked any real teasing.
“I know,” he said, taking a small step closer. “But I wanted to say it again.”
The space between you felt charged, the air holding a kind of anticipation you’d never felt before. Jungwon’s eyes flicked to yours, then to your lips, and back again, as though waiting for a sign.
Not thinking but acting you leaned in close to Jungwon’s face, brushing your lips against his. It was soft and tentative, but the warmth of it spread through you like fire. Jungwon froze for a moment before responding, his hand gently coming up to cup your cheek as he deepened the kiss just slightly.
When you finally pulled away, both of you were breathless, the cold air sharp against your heated skin. Jungwon’s smile was small but radiant, his eyes searching yours.
“So… does this mean I’ve secured you as my partner for the next ball too?” he asked, his playful tone returning but laced with unmistakable affection.
You laughed, shaking your head. “We’ll see, Gryffindor. We’ll see.”

the hellhounds were scratching and gnawing at the doors, they have been for at least 10 minutes now, but dean wouldn’t let up. he’d make every moment with you last if it was the last thing he did. and it was.
he’d barged into your room about an hour ago, sweaty and disheveled, and the only words to have come out of his mouth since then have been
“help me believe.”
dean hadn’t specified what he wanted to believe in, it could be you, sam, that he wouldn’t be in hell forever, that he’d live. but it didn’t matter what it meant- you’d help him.
you both knew, realistically, that there was no future for you two. dean was undeniably going to hell, the hellhounds outside were evidence enough, and you had nothing to do but wait. you both knew that, but you didn’t care.

Taglist Form │ Arcane Masterlist │ Scar Playlist
The neon lights travel through the sheer curtains of your bedroom, casting a soft pink glow over everything. You’ve been awake for hours, waiting for Scar to come home to you. The baby is tucked against you, sleeping peacefully, not even realizing her father isn’t home right now.
You’ve known Scar for years, having become Eva’s babysitter for when Scar would go out with the Firelights, sometimes not coming home until the next morning. It never bothered you before. He was doing what needed to be done.
But now… it’s harder. His missions with the Firelights were becoming more and more dangerous that sometimes you can’t help but stay up and worry. And now that you two are together, finally, it makes things more difficult for sure.
A few hours later, you’re on the verge of sleep but get woken up by a set of hands scooping Eva up. Instinctively, you grab her and then raise your fist to fight off whoever just grabbed her. You’re not exactly the best fighter, but you’re almost certain you could hold your own in an emergency.
“Woah, relax, babygirl. It’s just me.” A deep familiar voice chuckles in a hushed tone.
You sit up, finding Scar taking Eva into her room and then returning a moment later, sitting on the edge of the bed.
“Since when are you ready for a fight?” He teases, starting to strip his clothes.
“Since I became a mother.” You whisper.
Despite being frustrated, you can’t tear your eyes away from him when he peels his shirt off, dropping it to the floor. He lifts up off the bed momentarily to take off his pants and then slides next to you, pulling you against him.
His piercing green eyes that always manage to see into your soul meet yours and he sighs softly. “I’m sorry, sweetheart-”
You instantly feel bad, knowing he’s only doing what needs to be done.
“No, don’t be. I’m sorry. I know what you’re doing is more important in the grand scheme of things.” You murmur, kissing his chest.
He shakes his head, reaching underneath the hem of your shirt and trailing his sharpened nails lightly up and down your back. “Not more important than you and Eva. If you want me to stop-”
“You can’t. Ekko needs you too much.” You murmur, trailing your own fingers over his chest. “But thank you.”
He sighs, knowing you’re right, and grabs your hand, bringing up to his lips. It’s a silent agreement that you’ll just suck it up until this fight is over. If it’ll ever be over…
“Did everything go-” You start but he rolls over on top of you, silencing you by crushing his lips to yours.
Scar’s sudden roughness leads you to believe that maybe he had a close call with death tonight. While you try to push that to the back of your mind, his lips make their way down your neck, his sharp teeth lightly grazing over your skin. You melt as his hands travel down to your hip, gripping tightly.
“Scar-” You whimper softly.
He lets out a soft growl letting you know he’s got you… that he needs you. He looks down at you for permission and when you nod, he pulls you up quickly so he can pull your t-shirt off. Technically, it’s his but you wear it more than he does. It’s comforting to wear when he’s not around.
Before you can reach up to kiss him, he kisses you first, pushing you back down to the mattress with a slight force and you smirk up at him.
“Look so pretty like this for me.” He whispers softly as he drags one hand down your chest, palming your breast while the other hand holds you by the hip, keeping you anchored.
You let out a whine, making him smirk as he squeezes with more pressure, dragging a breathless moan from you.
“So needy for me aren’t you? That’s the real reason you needed me to come home, wasn’t it? Needed me to fill this sweet little pussy, huh?” He’s right there in your ear, licking a stripe up your neck and teasing the lobe of your ear.
“Fuck… Scar-” You try to roll your hips against him to let him know you need him now.
“What do you want first? Tongue or cock?” He purrs, rubbing the pad of his thumb over your covered clit making your underwear rub just right to make you gasp.
He starts to pull your underwear down, discarding them to the floor as you wonder why he’s making you decide? He knows how indecisive you are when you’re needy and desperate for him. What happened to the roughness?
You look up at him. “Tongue.”
It comes out like a desperate plea. But you know he doesn’t mind one bit.
“Tongue it is, sweetheart.” He winks and then rolls over onto his back. “Come have a seat.”
You let out a breathless laugh and then straddle Scar’s face, eagerly.
“My favorite view.” Scar murmurs before wrapping his long, strong arms around your thighs and anchoring you down to his face so you can’t go anywhere.
He licks a long stripe up your already soaked warmth and your hands fly to his hair with a gasp, gripping tightly, making him moan against you. You both live for this kind of intimacy. The kind where you have to be as close as possible when you’re together. Sex doesn’t even have to be involved.
But it’s always a plus, isn’t it?
His grip on your thighs tightens as he starts to eat you out like a man starved. The moans that leave your lips sound absolutely sinful to your own ears. His lips tighten around your clit, sucking enough that you can feel your release coming a little too soon.
“Fuck daddy…” You whimper.
He hums roughly and the sound reverberates throughout your entire lower half, making you squirm. You look down at him and he throws you a wink, making you shake your head at him, amused.
One of his hands leaves your thighs so that he can run it up your stomach and then
grope your breast again. Your hand falls to his, letting him know exactly how to touch you. He doesn’t need it, though. He always just knows how you need him. His grip tightens, making a breathless whimper leave your mouth.
Scar’s tongue slips back down to your entrance, making the grip you have in his hair tighten. You take the moment to reach behind you into his briefs, wrapping your hand around his hardened length. He groans into you and you tighten your grip with a needy gasp.
“Gods… babygirl… keep going.” He encourages you, letting go of your thigh for only a second while he pulls his briefs down further for you.
You smirk down at him, stroking him exactly how he likes, deep and slow. He groans again and you give a slight twist, making his hips buck against your hand.
“Good girl… always know exactly how to handle me, don’t you?” He asks, his voice rough with need.
Your head falls back as you writhe against his face, continuing to pump his length until you start to feel your edge nearing.
“Gonna…” You gasp. “Sc-”
“Fuck… do it, baby girl. Come on daddy’s face.” He groans, his grip on your body tightening.
All you can manage is a high pitched quiet whimper as you get thrown over your edge, your orgasm practically ripped from your body by Scar’s tongue. He doesn’t give you much time to come down from the high of it all before he pulls you off of his face and presses you into the bed, your legs immediately wrapping around his waist.
“Sorry baby… need to be inside you right now… that okay?” He pleads, and all you have to do is nod before he pushes into you fully.
He growls as you let out a breathless gasp. Your fingers press into his strong shoulders as he buries himself inside of you, unable to move for a moment.
“So fucking wet.” He whispers into your neck, licking and biting softly as one hand travels up to the back of your neck and the other tightens on your hip. “All for me, hm, pretty girl?”
You whimper with a nod, barely able to say anything more. He chuckles, understanding, as he presses a kiss to your jaw. He slowly pulls out, only to push back in just as slow. You pull away to look up into piercing green eyes and he grins as he drags his cock out only to push it in a little rougher, making your lips part as you gasp, clenching around him.
His cock drags in and out repeatedly, the wet sounds between the two of you filling the room sounding like music to both yours and Scar’s ears.
“Doing so good for me, baby girl. So fucking good.” He kisses your forehead gently. “Gods, I love you.”
“L-love you…” You whimper, digging your fingers into him even more.
Scar’s lips travel down your jaw to your neck, licking in a way that sends goosebumps down your body. His licks turn into sucking and you can’t help but clench around him, which makes him growl lowly, his grip on you tightening even more.
“You know exactly what you’re doing, don’t you, pretty girl?” He smirks with a darkened look while he grabs you by the chin and forces you to look him in the eyes.
You nod slowly and he glances down at your parted lips.
“That’s what I thought.” He nods, sitting up, pulling out of you suddenly, making you miss the full feeling he gives you.
“Wait-” You sit up with him. “I’m-”
Before you can even finish what you were trying to say, Scar pushes you down onto your front with a growl so that your face is buried in his pillow, forcing you to inhale the smell of him on his pillow. His foresty scent has always been intoxicating to you.
You moan softly while he trails his sharp nails down your back again, teasing you before placing a swift smack to your ass. You gasp, looking back at him with need in your eyes and then find him smirking down at your naked form.
“Tell me how much you missed me.” He whispers.
“I missed you…” You whimper. “So much… I always do.”
He leans down and places kisses down your spine before he retracts his nails, gripping your hip with one hand while guiding the tip of his cock to your entrance with the other.
“Scar… please.” You plead.
He pushes into you without another word. There’s no slowness to it this time as he pushes in fully, burying a soft growl in your neck as he leans over you, pushing you further into the mattress.
“Fuck, I missed you too, baby.” He whispers. “Couldn’t wait to come home and wrap my arms around you…”
You can hear the fear in his voice and you know right then that there was in fact a close call with death tonight.
“Use me…” You whisper, knowing he needs it.
He tilts his head for a moment before asking if you’re sure.
You nod. “Please.”
“I won’t be gentle…” He warns you.
“I know.” You’re betting on it.
He lets out a breathless chuckle, kissing your shoulder. “Tell me to stop if you need me to.”
You nod, understanding. “I will.”
“Good girl.” He gives your hip a squeeze and sits up on his knees, still buried inside of you.
As promised, he pulls out and then roughly pushes in with a dangerous growl. His hands move from the safety of your hips to the flesh of your ass, gripping so tightly you know there will be bruises in the morning. And that’s alright. You know he needs this.
He goes almost silent as he slams his hips against you repeatedly. The only sounds in the room are his growls, your whimpers, and the soaked sounds leaving your pussy.
One of his hands leaves your ass to trail up into your hair to grip tightly, pulling your head to the side so he can see your face. You look up at him as best as you can, your mouth open, practically drooling from how good he’s making you feel.
“Need to fill you…” He grunts, desperately.
You nod with a soft moan, clenching around him. He smirks again and slams against you roughly.
“You love it, don’t you?” He growls. “Being full of my cum.”
“Y-yes… please…” You whimper.
He groans at the sound and you can tell he’s close by the way his head falls back and his eyes squeeze shut. You know he’s trying to savor the feel of you around him.
“Cum in me daddy…” Your voice sounds broken, desperate even…
But it works. His hips stutter and his hand on your hair releases as both hands grip your hips again, squeezing tightly as he falls on top of you, pressing you even more into the mattress. He groans as he paints your walls with himself, filling you as full as he possibly can.
He holds you there like that for a moment, holding it inside of you and you can’t help but smile.
“You okay?” You ask, softly, after a moment.
He nods and then slips out of you, falling to the bed as he pulls you into his arms, kissing your head. “Yeah… I’m alright. Are you?”
“I’m perfect.” You murmur, kissing his chest.
“That you definitely are, sweetheart.” He smirks.
“Do you want to talk about what happened while you were gone?” You ask, softly.
“Nah… Just had a close call, is all. Couldn’t wait to come home to you and Eva…” He mumbles, pressing his lips to your hair and holding them there.
You nod, understanding. “I’m glad you came home to us.”
“Me too.” He nods and then pulls you even tighter against him, needing your comfort.
You wrap your arms around his large frame as much as you can and squeeze. He lets out a content sigh.
“I hope you know I’ll always fight to come home to you.” He tells you in an apologetic tone. You nod. “I know that.”
“I love you…” He whispers, brushing his lips against yours. “More than you could ever know.”
“I love you too.” You whisper back, smiling against his lips.
A few moments later, he’s asleep in your arms and you don’t even care that you’re in an awkward position. All you care about is that for now, he’s home safe with you. Tags: @moonstrider9904 @justanothersadperson93 @idledreams

gaz as a dad (part two) [ kyle garrick ]
part one |
- Puts on a brave face to you and he’s leaving for deployment but you know he’s dying on the inside- running the statistics through his head of his chances of survival
- Your daughter’s first word was in facts, “Dada”, she’s such a daddy’s girl.
- It’s hell for you when he’s away having a one year old who doesn’t know where her dad is, playing old videos of him to keep her sane
- All the while you were pregnant with your little girl. Kyle misses kissing your stomach every hour of the day, even when you weren’t pregnant he’ll do it
- You’re about 4-5 months along when he leaves.
- Kyle has two older sisters (he’s the baby of the family) and they treat you like their own blood in the best way possible
- They are taking you out baby shopping while he’s away, they’re staying over to spend time with your daughter
- Don’t get started with Kyle’s mum, she may be the in-law ever. Kyle’s dad left and never came back when he was young
- Everyday is a party to them, they’re so joyous and you see why Kyle is so well adjusted and a proper gentleman
- They live just around the corner and you go round every other night for dinner with your little girl and little bump
- They sympathise with you when Kyle is away, his mother didn’t understand why he enlisted into the army to begin with but over the years she saw the glint in his eye
- Like you had- he lived to fight the shadow wars… though he preferred to spend time with his family in more recent times
- After having a child, his relationship with his family, his mother especially, healed.
- He’s low-key jealous that his sisters steal you away and spend more time with you than he gets to
- But he’s so glad you get along with them- they can be picky and have never liked anyone brought home before
- Kyle returns when you are about to pop, 8 months pregnant and he doesn’t know when he’s getting redeployed
- No matter how many times it would happen, Kyle isn’t sure he’d ever remain composed in the delivery room.
- But what had remained the same with your birthing is that he feels so still and grounded when holding his children in his arms
- Your eldest is a mini him and your youngest is a mini you
- He’s sent back out four months later, but for a shorter time period.
- When he comes back, you’re not okay… he found you crying in the shower away from your kids in the middle of the night
- “Please don’t leave us…” He must be the most understanding partner, he battles demons in his head everyday but it hits different when it’s the love of his life, mother of his children who is suffering outwardly
- Sobbing in his clothed arms
- He had read about post-partum depression and he is an actual angel when it comes to dealing with it
- He takes on more tasks so you can have your own space but always curls up around you on the sofa
- Your eldest girl attempts to climb up and Kyle helps her
- Is so good with kids dealing with his nieces and nephews
- Grew up in a house full of women, that’s why he’s so endearing and thoughtful about you
- Kyle was so nervous to ask his Captain such a bold question, Price had seen photos of your daughters so he knew they existed
- He also lived not too far from your house so he came over and got into a wrestling match that your eldest won (definitely let her win lol)
- “Sir, since we’re speaking casually… Y/N and I were wondering if you were wanted to be the godfather to the girls…”
- John had never been asked that before and hold back the tears welling. A hand on Kyle’s shoulder, a nod, “Of course I will, Sergeant.”
- His sisters are the godmothers and maybe someone close to you as the other godfather
- About three years into the relationship when your eldest daughter is about 2 and the youngest is nearly 1, you tie the knot.
- Nothing too extravagant, he didn’t like being centre of attention…
- Only the closest people there: his mum, sisters, Simon, Johnny, Price and your closest family you’re in contact with
- You may or not be pregnant with bubba no. 3…
- Spoilers! Baby boy on the way

Migraines - an Analogical oneshot
Logan's had issues with migraines for a long time, but never told the other sides about it. During a particularly bad one, Virgil comes to check on him.
Mild TW for mentioned vomit/throwing up - this is based on my own experience with migraines, and I basically always end up puking so Logan does now too lmao
Word count: 2444
Also! Just a quick FYI, I have an AO3 now! This one and the two NaruMitsu fics I made recently have been posted there. Will potentially move my older fics there as well, so in case anyone wants to read more of my writing without having to scroll through the wall of random that is my blog, I am 04thz on there as well. Anyways, enjoy the fluff lol
It was just one of those days. Hardly the first Logan had dealt with, but they never got any easier. He squeezed his eyes shut as another jolt of pain went through his skull and rolled over in bed to face the wall, where less of the light creeping in under the door could reach him. The movement caused a swell of nausea, and he forced himself to take a few deep breaths to suppress the urge to vomit, pulling the marine blue duvet up to further cover himself.
God, he hated migraines. Tension headaches weren’t all that uncommon for the logical side, nor were caffeine headaches, but those were usually manageable with water and a couple painkillers, and if nothing else he could at least work through the more subdued pain. Whenever he felt a migraine coming on, that was it for the rest of the day, he would most likely not be getting anything else done until it was over. If he was lucky, the pain would be gone within a few hours and/or after a quick nap, but sometimes – like today – he’d wake up with a dull ache radiating out from one or both temples, which would steadily worsen over the course of the day, until it felt like one side of his head was being repeatedly wacked with a sledgehammer. And as if the throbbing pain weren’t bad enough, it was more often than not accompanied by crippling sensitivity to both light and sound, full-body chills, and such intense nausea it was nearly impossible to move without throwing up.
Logan never told any of the other sides about his problem. Not only did he not want to appear weak, but also as long as he kept up with his work it was unlikely they’d think it odd that he'd stay couped up in his room for a day or two every once in a while; that was hardly unusual for him anyhow. Besides, it’s not like they could help with his predicament, actually there was all likelihood they’d make it worse. When he felt the aura of an oncoming migraine, he’d simply excuse himself from any social situation and bunker down in his room with a water bottle, painkillers, and a large bucket, in case he’d fail to quash the relentless waves of nausea. This time there hadn’t been any social situations to excuse himself from; he never even made it out of bed, much less out of the room. After trying and failing to go back to sleep to avoid the issue all together, he’d simply taken a pill and steeled himself for the dreadful day ahead.
He’d managed to eat a couple bites of the breakfast he summoned for himself, and even done some reading before the gnawing ache became too intense to focus on anything else. But when it came time for lunch, he’d barely gotten the first mouthful down before it violently came back up, along with his breakfast. With throat burning and eyes running, Logan was forced to admit defeat, and he’d spent the next few hours subsisting on small sips of water, while trying to block out what little light seeped into the room and willing the day to just be over already.
It was in this state that Virgil found him that afternoon. The alarm clock on Logan’s nightstand read 17:15 when he heard soft footsteps in the corridor outside. The three quick knocks on the door weren’t loud, but nonetheless agonizing, and Logan had to grit his teeth to suppress a pitiful whimper that threatened to escape his still sore throat.
“L? You in there?”
Logan sighed and tried his best to keep his voice steady.
“Yes, Virge, I’m here. What is it?”
The brief reply had sounded more abrasive than intended, and a minute passed in silence before a hesitant question came through.
“Can I come in?”
Logan took a deep breath and weighed for and against before turning back towards the door.
“Yes, you may, just... please keep your voice down.”
The door was slowly pushed open and Logan had to put his hands up to cover his eyes as the room was suddenly illuminated by the bright light spilling in from the hallway. Virgil stepped into the room, hands buried deeply in the pockets of his hoodie and shoulders pulled up; Logan’s blunt manner had clearly put him a bit on edge. Logan pressed his hands against his face.
“Shut the door, please...”
Virgil used his foot to push the door shut and Logan sighed with relief as the room was once again shrouded in blissful darkness. He lowered his hands and pulled the covers tighter around himself. Virgil leaned against the door, looking at him uncertainly as his eyes quickly adjusted to the dark.
“Everything okay? Haven’t heard from you all day, and you don’t look so good.”, he said quietly.
‘Not so good’ was rather an understatement. Logan had caught glances of himself in mirrors on better days and knew all too well he must look terrible; pale and shivering, hair a mess, eyes hazy, these kinds of days typically made him look like he was half-way to the grave. Not to mention his pajamas – consisting of indigo flannel bottoms and an old, faded Doctor Who t-shirt – were in desperate need of a wash. Reluctantly he reached for his glasses, sliding them on and looking at Virgil tiredly, though he could hardly make out more than a silhouette.
“I have a migraine. Nothing to worry about, just... highly unpleasant.”
The last two words came out as a sigh. Virgil tilted his head, taking a step towards the bed.
“Oh, I see.”
He slowly made his way over, pausing for a second and wrinkling his nose as he was hit by the rancid smell from the bucket on the floor. He looked at Logan, who wearily motioned for him to sit down on the bed. Virgil carefully sat down at the edge of the bed and started fidgeting with the drawstrings on his hoodie. They sat in silence for a while, until Virgil started finding it intolerable and softly spoke up.
“Do you uh... need anything? Like an ice pack or something?”
Logan went to decline the offer, mostly wanting to be left alone, but stopped himself.
“That... would be great actually.”
Virgil nodded, summoning an ice pack and a small towel, handing them to Logan.
“Thank you, Virgil.”
He gingerly placed his glasses back on the nightstand before laying the towel over his forehead and placing the ice pack on the side of his head that was throbbing the worst. He exhaled slowly, finally feeling some blessed relief as the chill of the ice somewhat dulled the burning pain. Virgil watched him, a small smile creeping onto his face.
“Did that help?”
Logan nodded ever so slightly, gently shutting his eyes underneath the towel.
“Yes, thank you.”
“Don’t mention it.”
Virgil looked around, having no problem seeing in the very faint light from the door, though he’d know the room like the back of his hand even if he couldn’t see it. Out of all the other sides’ rooms, Logan’s was probably the one the anxious side had spent the most time in. If he’d had a nightmare or just couldn’t sleep, it wasn’t unusual for him to make his way over, and Logan was typically happy enough to let him in. For all he harped on about circadian rhythms and healthy sleep schedules, it was not uncommon to find the logical side sitting by his desk or reading late into the night. Sometimes, if he was feeling especially anxious, like after a bad nightmare, Virgil would ask Logan to read aloud to him from whatever book he was currently working his way through. Many nights he’d fallen asleep listening to various detective stories and scientific theories, curled up under the large, galaxy print blanket on Logan’s bed. Logan was a constant, a steady presence in Virgil’s life, even more so than the other sides, and seeing the normally - at least outwardly- unshakeable man in his current state was honestly a bit unnerving.
“... Do you get migraines like this often?” Virgil asked softly, turning to look at Logan’s half-covered face.
“Once or twice a month at most. They aren’t always this bad.” Logan replied tiredly.
The anxious side chuckled quietly, mostly to himself.
“Just bad luck today huh?”
He could just about make out the slight movement of Logan furrowing his brows under the towel.
“Wouldn’t call it ‘bad luck’ exactly. I have admittedly exceeded my own limitations by quite a large margin over the past couple weeks, it’s hardly surprising it would end like this.”
Logan wasn’t sure if it was the pain, the drowsiness or just the fact that it happened to be Virgil sitting on the bed with him that made him inclined to share “unfavorable” information like that so freely, but he had to confess it was rather nice to not keep it all to himself for once. He was aware he was working on an unsustainable schedule, despite his best efforts to keep Thomas and his fellow sides from doing the same, and it felt – yes, felt – good to say so out loud. Like giving the thought some sort of external presence was a step in the right direction towards amending the issue. Virgil returned to fidgeting with his hoodie strings, watching Logan’s chest slowly rise and fall for what seemed like an eternally long minute before breaking the silence:
“You haven’t been taking care of yourself?” he said, concern apparent in his voice.
Logan sighed and moved the ice pack slightly to the left, before he let his hand fall to his side
“I suppose not, no. There’s been so much work to do lately, everything else sort of got left by the wayside, so to speak.”
“L, you can’t do that. You have needs too, you can’t just work and work and ignore them. That’s not healthy.”
Virgil moved a bit closer to Logan, turning his body so his knee just barely touched Logan’s outer calf. The latter shifted slightly, somewhat unused to physical contact of any sort.
“I know that, Virge. I am trying to find a better balance, but it’s easier said than done.”
Virgil placed a hand on Logan’s knee, resting it lightly so that the other man may move away from his touch if he so pleased. Logan didn’t move his leg away, instead he slowly lifted a corner of the towel off his face, looking at Virgil questioningly, though the anxious side knew he probably couldn’t actually see him in the dark and without his glasses. Virgil bit his lip softly and ran the fingers of his free hand through his bangs.
“I care about you, Logan. I know you hate the feelingsy stuff and all, but I really care about you, and I don’t want you pushing yourself like that. I’m worried about you, dude.”
Logan drew in a breath, slightly taken aback. Virgil usually wasn’t much more forward about this sort of thing than himself. And that word; Worried. Virgil was worried about him. He noticed that Logan didn’t leave his room that day, he cared enough to come check on him and at least attempt to help with his splitting headache. None of the others typically even noticed he wasn’t present unless it happened to be for an extended period of time. As much as he hated to admit it, that hurt, and the fact that Virgil had sought him out and expressed concern for his wellbeing meant more to him than he knew how to properly verbalize.
“Thank you, Virgil. I... appreciate that.” was all he could muster up through suddenly knotted vocal cords.
Virgil gently rubbed Logan’s knee. There was, as always, an implicit understanding between them. Even if Logan didn’t know how to say it, Virgil understood that his concern was important to him.
“I mean it. Just... I’m here for you, okay? You can always talk to me if something’s going on.”
He was half expecting the conversation to be over at that point, and was just about to leave Logan alone to sleep off his headache, when the logical side spoke up again:
“Virge? Could you maybe... read to me?”
Virgil stopped in the middle of getting up, sinking back down on the mattress. Logan shifted the towel back over his eyes and continued:
“I was reading Murder on the Orient Express earlier, but I didn’t get past the first few chapters before my migraine got the better of me.”
Virgil smirked playfully.
“Again? Don’t you have it memorized by now?”
Logan scoffed, rolling his eyes despite the agony it caused.
“I am too tired for musical references right now.”
“Sorry, couldn’t resist.”
Virgil snickered and reached for the book on the nightstand.
“Can I lie down?”
Logan nodded ever so slightly, and Virgil carefully nestled himself in between him and the wall, leafing through the book until he came across the ornate bookmark Roman had gotten for Logan’s appreciation day a few years previous. He smiled; half convinced Logan would have gotten rid of it by now. He cleared his throat and began reading. Though he wasn’t as big a fan as Logan, Virgil did enjoy Agatha Christie’s writing, having heard both Murder on the Orient Express and a couple of her other books read out multiple times, and he did find some pleasure in being able to return the favor after being read to restful sleep so many times. A few chapters in, he glanced over at Logan and noticed that he’d drifted off. He put the bookmark in place and carefully returned the book to its spot on the nightstand before removing the thawing ice pack and wrapping it up in the towel. Propping himself up on his elbow, Virgil watched his companion’s relaxed face with an adoring smile, and soon found himself dozing off to the slow, almost hypnotic rhythm of his breathing.
When Logan woke up in the morning, finally free of the excruciating migraine, and found Virgil sleeping with his hand resting on Logan’s chest, he couldn’t help but smile to himself. Careful not to wake the other man, he got out of bed and put on his glasses. Before leaving for a much-needed shower, he made sure to tuck Virgil in properly and – much to his own surprise – gently stroked his cheek with the back of his hand. Virgil smiled contently in his sleep, and Logan quietly left the room with a warm, pleasant feeling in his chest.

Love In The Darkest Of Places // modern!Aemond x Reader
Chapter 7: A Brief Respite, Perhaps?
Summary: You take a break from everything for a while but Aemond somehow shows back up in your life anyway.
Warnings: none
A/N: Thank you @exitpursuedbyavulcan for making this just a hint messier lol ❤️
Chapter 6 // Chapter 8
He didn't look back.
He didn't look back.
He didn't look back.
Those were the words that echoed in your head. Your heart crumpled. Tears ran down your cheeks. You hugged yourself tight.
A week has passed since you last talked to Aemond. He held true to his word; you were still blocked on his phone. Any attempt at a call went straight to voicemail. He was really cutting you out. You didn't exist in his life anymore.
“Sweetie?” There was a knock at your door. “You can’t stay in your room forever. You’re going to have to come out eventually.”
You talked just loud enough to be heard through the door. “Please leave me alone, Hel.” You sniffled a bit, and a few more tears dropped down.
Yes, it’s been a week. Yes, you haven’t been able to stop crying for more than a few hours at a time. Yes, you miss him. Yes, everything hurts. No, you don’t feel like you’ve healed at all. You felt everything and nothing all at once. It was unreal; nothing felt real.
For a few more hours, you stayed in bed, curled up, occasionally crying. Whenever you thought you were done crying, a new thought would make its way to the front of your mind, and you'd start all over again. Once you got out of bed, you still wrapped yourself in your blankets but walked out into the living room.
“I'm alive,” you said unenthusiastically. “I feel like shit, but I'm alive.”
“And I'm glad you are,” Helaena nodded. “Now, what would my friend like to do today except stay in bed?”
You shrugged and mumbled something incoherently.
“That's not going to work, sweetie. You need to get out. Let's go for a walk around the park. Maybe we can find some cute dogs!”
You smiled at your friend as you gave in. “Fine, let's go find some dogs.”
You waddled back to your room to change into your usual day clothes. This time you chose to go with a casual dress and tights with a jacket and boots. While spring was nearing, it was still a little chilly. You looked at the sapphire necklace on your vanity. It took everything in you not to cry again. You softly caressed the necklace, wishing you could put it on, but you promised Aemond you wouldn't wear it anymore, and you were done breaking promises to him. Even if it hurt you.
Leaving your room once more, you met Helaena in her car, already warmed up.
“I was thinking we could check out the dog park. It's the best place to find dogs, of course,” she said as though it was an amazing discovery.
“What about the shelter? It's a little smelly, but they're all looking for love.”
“Oh, but I don't want to give them false hope!”
You sighed. “That's fair. To the dog park we go!”
Despite the chilly day, there were quite a few people out with their dogs. You and Helaena sat on the bench and petted every dog that came by to say hi.
One husky came up to you, all friendly, and even jumped on you.
“Down, girl!” A voice called. It was a very familiar voice.
Looking up, you scrunched your eyes in the direction of the voice. “Cregan?”
Cregan came jogging over to you and Helaena, his shoulder length hair tied in a half up half down ponytail.
“Hey,” he smiled. “Haven't seen you in a few years.”
“Yeah, it's been a while,” you agreed.
Over the years you kept in slight touch with Cregan but not actively. You would like each other's posts on social media and wish each other happy holidays when the time comes around, but that was about it.
“This is my girl, Tempest,” he said while he petted his dog. “Tempest say hi.”
Tempest let out a big “woof” to say hello to you and Helaena.
“She’s well-trained. Did the training myself. You two got a dog here?”
“No, we just wanted to visit the pups, honestly,” you told him.
“We needed a break from the world,” piped up Helaena.
“That's fair,” Cregan chuckled, then looked at you. “How's you and um, what's his name? Oh, Aemond! How are you two doing?”
Your face dropped immediately. “We're…fine. I guess. We're not together, if that's what you mean. I haven't talked to him in a while.”
“Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I thought you two were really close.”
You hugged yourself. “Yeah, we were,” you said quietly.
Silence hung in the air.
Helaena broke the silence. “How about we all go walking downtown? There are plenty of dog-friendly places there!”
Cregan was quick to jump in. “Yeah! Tempest would love to walk around, wouldn't you, girl?”
Tempest barked in excitement and wagged her tail.
“Meet us outside the library, yeah?” Cregan asked before he left.
“We'll be there!” Helaena called after him. “Come on,” she turned to you, “let's go walking with an old friend.”
Once you met up with Cregan and Tempest at the library, it was fairly easy sailing. Everything was okay again. Your heart felt lighter since this morning. It was nice to have something else occupy your mind other than Aemond.
The three of you and Tempest walked up and down the streets of King’s Landing. There were soap shops, clothing stores, tourist shops, and antique stores galore. Every now and then, you had to stop to allow a stranger to pet Tempest; she was more than happy to receive affection.
You were at a peculiar knick-knacks shop when you felt a pair of eyes on you. Something wasn't right. You turned to ask Helaena about it when you saw them at the front door. Alys and Aemond. Your stomach dropped at the sight of them. You were ready to throw up.
Once again, they were holding hands but didn't show any other signs of affection. They were looking straight at you. Alys looked devious. She grimaced at the sight of you and tried to turn Aemond around but failed. He couldn't take his eye off of you.
You silently mouthed his name. He was here, and he was so close. You wanted so badly to run to him, but you held yourself back. Not with Alys right there.
He took a step forward, like he was about to try to talk to you, but Alys pulled him back. She got up on her toes and whispered something in his ear. That's when his eye darted to Cregan and his close proximity to you. His jaw ticked, and he quickly turned on his heel, letting go of Alys’s hand and leaving her in the store. Alys didn't seem to mind. Instead, she winked at you and began to browse the store.
“What was that about?” Whispered Cregan.
You brushed it off. “Nothing. Nothing happened.” You bent down to pet Tempest. “Right, Hel? Nothing.”
Helaena nodded her head in agreement. “We should actually get going. It's been a long day.” She gave Cregan a quick hug and Tempest a kiss on the head. “It was nice to see you again.”
After you said your goodbye to Cregan and Tempest, you followed Helaena out the door and to her car, quick to avoid Alys.
When you got home, you sighed, heaviness starting to settle in your heart again. “That was…”
“Weird?” Helaena finished the sentence for you.
“I didn't know if I was going to cry or if I was going to scream at Alys.”
“Did you see how he left her, though? He left her behind.”
“Well, whatever she said to him pissed him off. It probably had to do with Cregan. Gods, she just wants me out of his life,” you groaned. Fear and sadness enveloped you once again. “And it's working. Aemond doesn't want me around.”
“Don't say that, you know that's not true!” Helaena said. “He was about to go to you. Alys just stopped him. If she weren't there, he would have talked to you.”
“If he wanted to talk to me, he could unblock me from his phone,” you countered. You sighed as tears gathered in the corners of your eyes. “I just want him back,” you whispered.
“He'll come back, I'm sure of it.”
“...okay.” Your heart was no longer light anymore. It was heavy and difficult to carry. “I think I'm gonna go to bed now.” You got up and slowly made your way to your room.
“No, please don't. I need you to stay up,” pleaded.
“I'm drained, Hel. Thank you for the day, though. It was nice to be outside for a bit.” You gave her a sad smile from the hallway, then went to your room.
Curling up in a ball after changing clothes, you thought about the day. It was so nice until you saw him. Gods, you almost didn't even want to think about his name. Just his name made you want to cry. You let a few years fall before settling yourself into a deep sleep.
A few more weeks had passed. Graduation was almost upon you, and soon, Aemond and Alys could be open about their relationship. That was your only thought as finals were coming around the corner. You wiped away tears that threatened to fall. You haven't stopped crying completely but it certainly wasn't as bad as it was before.
You were about to head to class when your phone vibrated. When you unlocked it to see who it was, you almost dropped your phone.
Aemond.
Aemond Targaryen was calling you.
He was calling you.
You fumbled with your phone. “Yes?” You answered.
“Hey, can I come over? I know I've been gone, but I need…I need someone,” he said.
“Are you sure you want me and not Alys?” you asked.
You practically see him nod. “I don't want her. I need you. So, can I come over?”
“Yeah. Helaena is out for classes all day, so it would be just you and me.”
“That's fine.”
“Okay, I'll see you in a bit. To - I mean, bye.” And with a click, you hung up.
Aemond showed up fifteen minutes later. When you opened the door to let him in, the first thing you noticed was the exhaustion on his face.
“Aemond, are you okay?”
He tackled you in a hug, then quickly stepped back. “You were right.” Aemond ran a hand through his unruly hair and curled up on the bed. “She was cheating on me. I caught her with another student.”
“Aemond…” you were careful with your words. “I'm so sorry.”
You slowly reached out to touch his shoulder, giving him enough time to turn away, but he didn't. He welcomed your touch. Aemond’s hands went to bury his face, and for a while, that's how you stayed. It was comforting, but at the same time, it wasn't enough. You wanted nothing more than to wrap him in your arms and hold him. How dare someone play with his heart after all he's been through.
Aemond suddenly started clawing at his face. “FUCK!” He sat up, ripped off his eyepatch, and threw it across the room. “What the fuck did I do? What did I do to deserve this?” He turned to you. “Tell me. What did I do that made the gods hate me?” Tears began to trickle out of his good eye. His sapphire shimmered as though it had tears as well.
“Aemond, the gods don't hate you,” you tried to reassure him. You slowly brought your other hand to his cheek. “No one hates you. I certainly don't.”
Aemond sniffled. “What about Alys?”
You took your hand away from his face. Alys. Of course he's still thinking about Alys right now. She was the reason he was feeling like this.
“Alys…made her choice. I'm not saying she never cared about you, but it's showing how much she does by not being faithful.”
“Gods fucking dammit. I hate this. I hate her.”
Hearing Aemond proclaim his hatred for Alys should have your heart soaring, but instead, it made it sink. She was such an important person to him that she made him feel this way, and she didn't give one shit.
“That dinner, when you met her?” Aemond asked. “Guess it was all a fucking lie. She didn't care about me. She cared about getting you out.”
You let his words wash over you. Alys just didn't want to be fired from her job for hooking up with students. It was always about alienating you from Aemond to make sure she kept her job.
“You have a choice now. You can either break up with her and leave this all behind,” you took a deep breath. “Or you could go back to her like nothing ever happened.”
Aemond looked at you with unease in his eyes. He was conflicted. “I choose…” he started, “I choose to leave her.”
You stopped yourself from grinning. “Good. You deserve someone so much better than her. You deserve someone who cares about you.”
“Do I, though? Every person I've cared about has hurt me.” Aemond looked down.
“Listen to me.” You cupped his face in your hands. “You are the most deserving person of all good things I have ever met. Every wrong that has ever happened to you never should have happened.”
Aemond’s good eye was glossy. He shook his head. “It's difficult to believe that after everything.”
“I know, and I'm so sorry that I'm one of those people who make you feel that way.”
Aemond sniffled. “Not all the time,” he admitted. “You've always been there, except for those few months, but even with everything with Alys, you still stayed.”
“Of course I would.”
He looked at your neck. “You're not wearing my necklace.”
“I didn't want it to remind you that I broke my promise.”
Aemond hummed. It was more of a comforting hum to himself. “Do you miss us?”
You sighed and gave him a small smile. “Of course I do, Aemond. I've missed you every day I've been away from you. Leaving you alone was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Not wearing the necklace hurt my heart. It was my own reminder that I fucked up.”
Aemond moved closer to you. “I've missed you, too.”
And there you sat, holding Aemond closely as though he would disappear.
“I know I've said it before,” you whispered, “but I'm truly sorry for everything.”
“I know you are,” he whispered back. Aemond looked up at you and cupped your face. He sat up and began to lean in.
As much as you wanted to kiss him, you stopped it by placing a gentle finger on his lips.
“I want to kiss you, gods, how I've been wanting to kiss you, but you're hurt right now. I don't want to take advantage of you.”
Aemond flushed and backed up. “Yeah, I understand. I'm sorry, I just -” he stuttered. “Yeah.”
“Let's take it slow, okay? For both of us.”
“For both of us,” he echoed. He looked at you hesitantly. “Can we start with a date?”
You blushed. “Yes, we can start with a date.”
"Together forever?”
You smiled and kissed his forehead. “Together forever.”

I Don’t Have the Words To Describe (How Much You Mean to Me) ~ Chapter 3
Also on Ao3
Summary:
James, Viktor and Jayce settle into routine and James makes a new friend.
AN: Guys I can’t for the life of me picture their stupid lab setup in my head so if there’s any discrepancies between what I write and what it actually looks like, no there isn’t lol. Also sorry if this chapter sucks, the next couple chapters will be (slightly) better.
A=𝜩, B=𝜣, C=𝝃, D=𝛴, E=𝜓, F=𝝇, G=𝝋, H=𝝺, I=𝛃, J=𝝣, K=𝝥, L=𝟄, M=𝟇, N=𝞖, O=𝝠, P=𝝮, Q=𝞈, R=𝞀, S=𝞏, T=𝞔, U=𝞒, V=𝞃, W=𝝸, X=𝞹, Y=𝞾, Z=𝞙
The next day Viktor and Jayce woke up early, before James did, so the taller man stayed to start on breakfast and clean the apartment, to be more welcoming to their guest, while the other left to buy groceries. When Viktor returned he put all the food away and worked beside Jayce, helping him make breakfast.
James emerged from her room, unaware of the two men in the kitchen who were also unaware of their own heavy staring. She was wearing a pair of light blue shorts and an even lighter blue camisole that sat high on her stomach and rose higher when she stretched her arms above her head. Thankfully the boys averted their eyes right before James jumped in shock at seeing the two of them in the kitchen. She ran back into her room and returned with a navy sweater on.
Jayce cleared his throat before speaking.
“Good morning James”
“G𝝠od 𝟇ornin𝝋 Jayce. Good morni𝝋 Viktor”
“Good morning”
When she saw the food they were making, she grabbed her notebook and wrote down the items in English and then Piltovian.
“E𝝋g, 𝜣ac𝝠n, t𝝠ast” she pointed to each, looking to the boys for confirmation. Jayce nodded and repeated each item.
James tried again “Egg, bacon, toast”
“And Coffee” Viktor
“And C𝝠ffee”
Viktor lifted the the labeled the sugar and milk container
“Sugar?” James lifted two fingers
“Two sugars?”
“Tw𝝠 sugars” she confirmed
“Milk?”
She lifted her fingers in a pinch this time
“A little bit of milk?”
“A little bit 𝝠f milk”
He passed the mug to her
“Thank you” she took her mug and sat down at the table. The boys joined her, bringing the plates with them. When they all sat down, Jayce rested his hand on top of Viktor’s which lay on his lower thigh.
“We are going to go to the lab today”
Jayce drew a picture of the lab after seeing her confused face.
“Ahh lab today” James says in understanding
After eating they made their way to the lab. Once there, James made herself comfortable on top of the large sprawling table, sitting right beside the window to take advantage of the natural light.
They all set out on doing their work. About an hour passed when Viktor felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see James holding her notebook
“What is your name?” She had the same look on her face that Jayce got when he was testing out a hypothesis.
“My name is Viktor?” His reply sent her face into a beaming smile.
“Who is he?”
“That is Jayce”
“What is this?”
“This is a book”
After about a million more questions, Viktor realized she was learning how to ask questions and verifying the subjects of each question word.
She would continue the day like this. Working in her newly claimed space before going up to Jayce or Viktor to test out a language point she learned or try and get clarity on something.
Jayce often asked her to pass him things, partly so he didn’t have to leave where he was sitting but also to help James work on her vocabulary. Although it took a little longer to get the tool, the smile on her face when she found the right one made it worthwhile.
They went on like this for the next four days. They had been making breakfast in the morning and eating more regularly; they felt bad after the first day when they got wrapped up in their work only realizing it was 5 o’clock and they had skipped lunch when they heard James’ stomach grumble from across the lab. Working throughout the day on their own projects at the lab, going home (somewhat) early, before getting a more socially acceptable level of sleep rather than their normal fuck we ball amount. James had learned some basic vocabulary but putting together full sentences was a struggle.
On the fifth day Jayce and Viktor left the lab in the afternoon to grab lunch and bring it back for them all to eat. Leaving James in the lab so as to not draw any unnecessary attention to her. This was unfortunately at the same time Caitlyn had decided to make an unannounced visit. She opened the door and was met with the sight of James looking for a purple-coloured pen in Jayce’s drawers, which to unknowing Caitlyn, the scene looked like a woman had broken into the lab of the top scientists of Piltover and was now stealing Hextech.
“HEY! STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING” Caitlyn yelled before bolting across the room.
James jumped nearly a foot in the air, scrambling back on top of the desk, reaching for the nearest tool, which so happened to be another screwdriver.
“𝝋𝜓𝞔 𝞔𝝺𝜓 𝝇𝞒𝝃𝝥 𝜩𝝸𝜩𝞾 𝝇𝞀𝝠𝟇 𝟇𝜓!!!” The woman barked out.
The teenage girl took big imposing steps forwards, which James responded to by backing away, slowly trapping herself further in the nook. Feeling the wall behind her, she lunged forward with a warning swipe of the screwdriver. The sound of Jayce yelling from the door, stopped both of them from injuring each other.
“CAIT STOP” Jayce yelled from the door.
At the sight of him and Viktor entering the room, James dropped the screwdriver, bypassing Caitlyn and sprinting towards them. She ran into Jayce’s right side, quickly seeking comfort before turning around to face the other woman. James stood behind the two, holding each of their jacket sleeves tightly in each hand, ready to pull them back at the sight of danger. When Jayce first started walking forward, she pulled him back.
“It’s okay, she’s a friend” She let go of his arm as he walked forward again.
Viktor put his arm behind her back, slowly guiding her forwards with him.
“Who is she? What was she doing in your lab?”
“I’m going to tell you only if you promise you will not tell a single soul”
“Alright”
“I’m serious, Cait, absolutely no one. Not even your mom or dad”
“I understand, absolutely no one”
He explained the best he could, given that much of the whole situation was unknown to him or Viktor, possibly known to James but she was currently unable to explain it to them. Once he finished she stood with her mouth hanging open for a couple seconds.
“Cait?”
“And this wasn’t your fault?”
Jayce rolled his eyes. Cait moved her gaze to James and looked at her with guilt. She moved forward taking her hands in hers.
“I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to chase after you or try to attack you, well actually I did mean to but that was only because I thought you were stealing something, so I’m actually sorry for thinking you were a thief and not giving you a chance to expl-”
“Caitlyn slow down. She is not going to understand half of what you have said” At Viktor’s words she looked at the woman’s face again. She understood her sentiment but she was lost at every other word.
“Oh, sorry” Caitlyn looked sheepish. Seeing the girl’s embarrassment James stepped forward.
“Hello, My name is James. What is your name?”
“I’m Caitlyn, it’s nice to meet you”
“It is nice to meet you too. Would you like to be fri𝜓nds?”
“Yes, I’d like that very much”
Cait’s eyes focused “Is that my top?”
“Oh uh yes” Jayce replied
“You gave the poor girl my old clothes” , Cait shook her head in disbelief. “Her and I are going shopping and soon. But that does makes more sense than what you really said the clothes were for”
“What did you tell her you needed them for?” Viktor questioned.
Jayce turned his face back to his work away from the other three, which Viktor recognized as what Jayce did when he was trying to hide his face when it was a deep blush red.
“Jayce?”
“I might have said you wanted to try out a new style”
“You what!”
“I didn’t know what else to say!”
Caitlyn and James looked at each other, both needed to cover the mouths to quiet the giggles they let out because of the boys bickering.
“Literally anything else! Say that we needed them to blow up, I don’t know. Caitlyn thought I was asking my boyfriend for his younger sister’s clothes, that is weird Jayce. I love you but sometimes it is so embarrassing to be dating you”

Holy moly a rendered drawing!? And it's Flatland!? AND it's sort of gijinka-fied?!?!?!? Crazy.
Drip or drown fellas? Be honest lol.
Okay, so some design choices I wanted to point out and "explain":
A. Square does not look any different because he is peak performance. The whole thing of 2D creatures who live "water" and look like amoebas was too good to tarnish. I kept it simple, gave him some boots to help with gravitational pain n stuff on his feet, and he has glasses cuz I saw some character in the movie with them and I thought it would vibe well. He looks a little older because of them, but whatever. The nerd needs to look like a nerd.
A. Sphere I took so many liberties with. At first, I went with the most basic CEO fit I could come up with, found it boring, gave him a vest and bowtie, cut the bowtie for a normal tie and gave him rainbow suspenders, then gave him the bracelets for funsies. The most consistent thing through all the versions was the analog watch (that he probably can't read lol).
He doesn't really feel like a CEO anymore, but c'mon, in canon he's a gold sphere and the only metallic solid. He's gonna look flashy and extra. It's a given.
Are you reeeally a Flatland fan if you haven't drawn or edited an image of A. Square being yeeted like a frisbee?
I feel like this is a staple, and I found this really amusing stock image that just fit so well.
I made the whole Flatland species friend-shaped. As an OSC person (yes I'm working on stuff related to it give me a sec), I could not see the Flatlanders as anything more than the silly stick limbed creatures of that community.
Spacelanders are different, but that's more so because of how the book refers to them. "Spacelanders" in the book, although the context is probably just different 3D shapes, are addressed as people who have people systems who do people things. So, I designed accordingly. (Also, I did NOT want A. Sphere to look like that one Pacman TV show. I think I would have combusted before finishing if he did.)
These were some doodles I worked with for just looks purposes. The tendrils(?) on their corners are the longest ones on their bodies. Circles have them all mostly uniform cuz they're boring.
Below is a close up of A. Square, some progress photos, and the reference image of meme.
Thanks again, and have a wonderful day :)
#i miss making rendered pieces for stuff I like#i wanted to make sphere more metallic-looking but i really did not want to spend 10000 hours on this piece to get it to look right#the bracelets he wears are those rubber ones and a slap one#the rubber one is there cuz of him giving out merch of the company and he seems like one of those guys who wears his own merch#the slap bracelet is a fidget toy lol#he's often told off for not being “professional enough”#no i'm not projecting you're just uncreative#don't ask how square's glasses stay up in the 3D#I don't know either#a super burnt ritz chip and a pac-man knockoff walk into a room what do they do?#flatland#flatland 2007#flatland the movie#a sphere#a square#gijinka#humanization#humanized sorta not really#i may be cringe but i am free#feel free to hate lol#katiekatdragon27

If you ever feel insecure about your yapping just know that I binged your entire account for the past few hours and I was hooked. Like your account to me is what cocomelon is to toddlers you have no idea how happy you make my overly stressed student heart 😔❤ (Anon because I have anxiety (for now))

....huh. guess i've amassed quite a hoard. porntime surely does fly....swim.move fast
#another ask that made me pace the room and stare at it for several days because i didn't know how to respond#hands at my hips. countenance scROmnched and befuddled#you managed to go through this entire thing??#that's like.. me talking for hours and you're nodding your head in agreement the entire time#i check in at hour 2 asking 'YALL ARE STILL PAYING ATTENTION? THE HrNK?'#OH... IT FEELS LIKE...#being a lecturer of a tiny specialist 4th-year graduate seminar#and all 6 of ur students are freaks who WANT to be there and listen to you talk for hours. which is. astonishing#glad you picked up on the hesitation in yapping because i'm always insecure about yapping#as i've mentioned before#this *gestures to blog* is LOUD for me. i hold back a looooooooot of thoughts#infinity unpublished drafts. thoughts left unwritten. self doubt shutting down (horny)posts before they materialise LOL#i see the more unhinged bloggers and i press my face against the glass like#i want to be like that.... i wish to be free...#well. practice is everything. and the longer i stay here the higher the chance of losing some hinges#anyway. thank u for the ask😊#and hypothetical head nodding for hours while i distract you with shiny words and shapes 😆#the student grind is brutal. gotta harvest those good chemicals wherever you can........#maybe i'll draft up some previously-deemed-unworthy thoughts to add to the yappery#feesh answer

I've got a psychiatrist appointment tomorrow. mostly to discuss if the new sleep medication is working. it is.. not? I don't know. it sorta makes me stay asleep better but tbh that only really means it's even more impossible to wake up when I need to.
idk at this point I'm getting close to just saying you know what? thank you for trying to help, mr. nice old psychiatrist guy, but let's just give up! who needs sleep anyway (me, like 12-16 hours a day). I'm just not gonna do it anymore! that sounds more doable than ever figuring out how to sleep normally!!
#literally like. everything is kinda fucked up and everything hurts a lot of the time and everything just feels wrong in my stupid body#but not being able to sleep and also being tired all of the time and sleeping so much is so so so shitty#like I can't fall asleep when I want to and I can't stay awake when I need to#it fucking sucks#also my so called sleep schedule ALWAYS goes back to sleeping at like 5 or 6 am no matter how much I try to go to bed earlier#it never ever lasts#also it's really funny (haha sooooo hilarious) when people talk about sleep hygiene. as if it actually does/changes anything?? apparently it#does for normal people??#literally nothing ever helps (at least not more than a few random unpredictable times)#also. the toddler upstairs has been crying every morning starting around 5am. for an hour.#which is juuust perfect for helping me sleep. 😭😭😭 but anyway I've got Thursday Murder Club to listen to. and also my husband snoring in#his room next to mine lol. this feels like some kind of really mean joke 🙃#ALSO also. I have to get up in 3 hours for the appointment........ every damn time I'm like oof this is bad I need to get a later#appointment next time! and then I immediately forget.#personal

the fact that overbooking flights is legal and airlines don’t have to go above and beyond to find you either the earliest flight possible or the most convenient stay possible is going to make me a t3rr0r1st. what the fuck do you mean you can only give me a flight three days from now and i have to find my own accommodation, unless i pay for an earlier flight and also have to find my own accommodation. how the fact is it legal to sell something you don’t have
#anatxt#girlie who helped me at the desk also was like no i can’t put you on that flight you’re seeing available because that is actually also#already full :) not her fault she was as helpful as she could be. and i can stay at a friend’s place a few towns away#but jesus fucking christ. saving every receipt lol#had to buy underwear and socks and a shirt and going for trousers today#because for the incoming flight i always carry an extra outfit. just in case bag gets lost or whatever i have wiggle room#since i was supposed to be going home i was only carrying the things i bought with me. can’t get dressed with cheese or secondhand books#thankfully i had like half my toiletries#but still i will be missing a doctors appointment and that genuinely makes me want to cry lol#about to become a road trip person for this#(this one would’ve been 20 hours. lol. lmao even)
