Hi friend! I let myself relax, but made sure to stand up straight. So like, proper posture but no squeezing with the measuring tape or holding my breath or anything like that. What matters is it not being TOO tight, so even if you're between sizes and get the (recommended!) larger size, it will still compress quite nicely 👍
