Hi folks! Just wanted to write a quick post that if you send an ask and I don't respond to it immediately, you don't have to repost it, I'm probably just really, really, really tired. And having asks re-sent doesn't make me feel more likely to reply to them!

Give it about a week, and if I don't reply after that, you're welcome to ping me again. But I am on hiatus right now for a reason <333 So please just be patient, because my priority right now is taking care of myself and resting, and being very careful on where I put my energy, which means not getting to asks straight away even if I'd like to sometimes.

#cats #(medical stuff mention for tags)#poasting confortable image of boye for peace and serenity and such forthe #I have little weird episodes sometimes where I get shaky (but like violently like 'would spill a drink if you were holding it beacuse #your hands are moving so much' type shaky) and weird and sick feeling but usually it passes in an hour or less. but last night I just #literally couldnt sleep I was shaking so much and my heartrate was up a ton and wouldn't go down even after like 6 hours plus super nausea #so I went to the hospital and now shall wear a heart monitor for a week. which hopefully it's just some weird drastic low blood sugar #event or something and there's nothing actually going on. ekg + ct scan for blod clots + virus panel + almost all of the blood work seems #normal so... aa.......#Though me being so privacy focused hrggh... I basically have a constantly bluetooth connected device around me #since the monitor comes with a cell phone that is constantly transmitting data to the place. which they said they'll call you #if they see anything weird which is also scary. random phone calls... but definitely better than letting an issue go unadressed lol #the phone is also not meant to be more than 10 feet away from the monitor at any time so I put on this old tactical fishing #vest thing thats like navy green with 100 pockets and im just using one of the giant pocketson the side as a phone holder #my enormous silly vest just to keep one little phone #ANYWAY... because I got up early the morning before and didn't sleep at all and spent nearly all day in waiting rooms and such #I have been awake for like 32 hours striaght. which I'm sure also does not help with an elevated heartrate lol #feeling shrimp emotions or whatever people talk about unlocking at a certain level of stress and sleep deprivation #and also no food or water. after a while they brought me like 3 saltines and some ice water but I basically also haven't eaten since 3am #last night and it's 2pm now..#thus............ bapy............. baby boye....... he will help ease all ailments with his baby powers...#And no I dont drink energy drinks or anything with caffiene really I'm afraid of all substances on the planet essentially #My body just likes to become shaky and weird randomly even when I'm not conciously anxious about anything/have had no caffiene/etc #and I guess I'm always more nervous about getting anything heart related checked out because of my arm/shoulder/chest area injury stuff #... i literally have constant chest pain all the time. it moves around but i nearly always have some sort of pain or pressure in my chest #so when people are like 'oh well a little weird heartrate is fine but watch out if you have pain!' it's like... i always do lol.. how am I #supposed to tell the Bad Pain apart from the Always Pain when the descriptions of Bad Pain are very very similar #AAAANYway.... hrghh... i wanted to be very productive and finally post drafts and wrok on things today. but alas..#I can at least post small image of soft boye.. though he recently got into stuff in the bathroom whilst left #alone and knocked things into the toilet.. So perhaps not an innocent and NICE boy.. but still.. a soft one .. beautfile....

This is going to sound unexpectedly specific compared to my usual vague-as-fuck questions. Context being: I want money, I cannot commit to doing commissions at the moment and drawing is my only marketable skill.

If you were to buy a character "adopt" - premade design for your use, art by me and no rights retained except to like merchandising that original art - would it be a significant factor in either a positive or negative direction if the art were originally done digitally vs traditionally?

Likewise, if you were to buy a traditionally-drawn adopt, would the inclusion of the original paper-and-ink drawing be a significant benefit to you that you would consider paying more than just "base" price for?

Third, regardless of medium, would you want "scratch" papers where I did the brainstorming before the final concept was finished - this wouldn't be at any extra cost i just wonder.

Fourth, would you prefer a "flat" sale or an auction? (I like buying things at auction-style sales, and it means you might get a cheaper price than i'd normally list whatever it is for, but I am given to understand that my preferences vary from the norm pretty significantly lol) .

Fifth, would TF or at lesat mecha designs be more interesting than non-TF ones or would more general "can use this as any oc for anything" type characters be more appealing?

Ah - sixth and last, do regular ocs appeal more or less than kink/fetish-oriented ocs like "suspiciously wide-hipped lady who just so happens to have a mouth in her crotch" or stuff in that vein lol? I'm not sure I can stop myself from coming up with at least one erotic as fuck design because that's just how my brain works, but it's good to know if i should try and focus on that or leave it be and just focus on concepts that seem interesting enough to get a shape out of.

#i know this is specific. please understand i want to eat good food again.#i am not in Serious Financial Worry i simply cannot afford takeout again. my dad is going to give me money when he gets around to it but #that might be any time between now and the end of the month #and about 80% of the money in my bank account is tapped for rx payments the second i get to the pharmacy so i cant spend basically anything #if you guys respond it'd be a big help #also if anyone is interested - first design im working on is a cordyceps-possessed archer elf lady.#and im thinking to list it for around $40-50 US and +$10 and shipping for the paper version #i get a good deal on shipping these days at least. i should be able to ship overseas for like $15-20 US and not $60 or whatever #eta. LOL. LMAO EVEN. ummmm im probably going to want $200 minimum for this archer design. theres three and a half full color illustrations #here. i detailed LACE. FIVE TIMES. I have decided that this upcoming week and a half are going to be extremely not "banana bread at work dude hell yeah"

#between 3 exams accounting for 50% of my grade in my class #returning not only to work after 10 days off but returning to see the manager who caused my mind to fully mentally break #and now also the 3rd thing #I'm just spent and i dunno how I'm gonna keep moving #i picked up a second job in a funeral home too #have to go shopping for clothes after work tomorrow but it can't be too late cuz i have to come home to let the dog out #i have to do the same quickly on tuesday after work before rushing back in the direction of work #where my school is #so i maybe get... an hour of time to cram before exam #i need to order propane #i need to fix my car #i need to take care of my lawn and house #i need to grocery shop #typing it all out helps #i think I'm gonna grocery shop today #though the thought of food makes me feel really sick right now #whatever I'll feel fine by like friday probably

just another day wasting away in margaritaville trying to figure out how the actual fuck the Grand Army of the Republic is organized. send assistance i am shaking sobbing crying in a corner

#no like. does anybody understand it please help me #i get how it’s divided #i even made an entire flow chart #but it’s the numbering i’m confused with cause none of it makes any fucking SENSE #and i don’t know know if i just don’t know how military battalions are numbered but this makes less than 0 sense even if i did know #because like. ok so for example: the 327th star corps is in the 2nd systems army. but how is that possible? why are they called the 327th?#because there are 10 systems armies; each with 2 sector armies; each with 4 corps #and if i know math (which i occasionally do) that means there are 80 corps in the entire GAR (4 for each of the 20 sector armies)#so then HOW #is there a corps in the 300s #and that’s not even the worst example #okay so we all know the 212th? our most beloved attack battalion of gold babes?#they’re in the 3rd systems army which means they should have the 5th and 6th sector armies (1st system army has 1+2 2nd systems has 3+4 etc #but then they have the 7th sky corps. and if there are 8 corps per systems army and they’re in the THIRD systems army #how do they have the 7th corps? and how are they only the 212th battalion? cause there’s 512 battalions in the first systems army ALONE!#so either it’s straight up wrong and their battalion number should be more like 1212 (in the thousands!)#or each sector/sustems army has their own numbering of battalionsthat goes from 1-512; and same for their corps?#so it would be like ‘we’re the 404th battalion of the 6th corps of the 4th systems army’?#but then that still contradicts the existence of actual corps like the 91st mobile recon corps and the 41st elite corps!#so are there two different systems of numbering it? do corps and legions and battalions all number and name their divisions differently?#i wrote so much i ran out of tags but serious am i just dumb or am i right and none of this makes sense #i spent literally 2 hours getting distracted by this conundrum today #after spending 4 hours last night understanding how the army is divided cause i was curious about what the numbering meant #LITTLE DID I KNOW I MEANT NEXT TO FUCKING NOTHING #this is what happens when i get bored smh #if anybody understands military structure and im legit just missing something PLEASE tell me i am so curious #star wars #the clone wars #andis thought geyser

do any of you guys use vlc media player? i have the latest version and all, but some of my 1080p videos lag and don't appear well on screen even when there's no problem with the audio. tho i guess the problem might be in the videos themselves, because like i said other videos of the same quality play normally, but idk? help?

the "problem" with being unable to say no to people in trouble AND apparently looking easy is that walking around outside in a downtown area means I'm constantly at risk of giving money or food away. which is FINE if it only happens once in a while, but not good if it starts happening more often because I will accidentally give away all of my food or food money if given the opportunity. I purposely don't carry or use cash for that reason, I have 100% done it before

really what i need is to figure out some kind of near universally useful thing to carry around to give people, and then budget that in so I can give that away instead of emptying my fridge

#lowkey wonder if theres any homeless activism groups around who might be able to help me with that #bc like i dont know whats best to keep on hand for that #i guess theres always just. money. but im not really comfortable with that because i am horrible with money #i also could just get better at saying no and ignoring people but like #man #i feel so bad doing that #i dont like being just another person pretending they dont exist like that shit has to be so rough #spent an hour listening to this dude today because i didnt want him to feel like i was just throwing food/quarters at him so hed go away #i gave him all the quarters i had which was maybe $10 i hope #i have no clue if that was enough to get him and his wife where they needed to go tho #yelling at the void
