#em draws stuff#wind in the willows#witw#this is a redraw of my attempt at doing designs for these four about two years ago!#wanted to lean a little harder into the late-edwardian and also what I personally think could be fun out of these critters#also going to specify more clearly this time around that I'm drawing badger and ratty as butches!#also did that in the previous iteration but I think I communicated it better this time around#ratty's look here is also based on too-ticky - felt like the right place for some visual influence from tove jansson and tuulikki pietilä!#no glasses for mole in this iteration but I did think she needed something to spice up her design so she's got a little carbide lantern#and then I tried to give miss toad a big hat but it wasn't working out visually... you should still imagine one though :}

#I imagine the dragons kinda. shaped. a little differently than the refs anyway#like ofc other than mud wings THEY ALL LOOK THE SAMEEEE#hhrhrgh tempted to like. do a ‘redraw’/headcanon type thing#I think nightwings especially would walk like this as they’re more like.#you see them do more human-y shit like experiment. you need HANDS#also it’d be cool if they had two fingers on their wings to use rather than just the thumb#I also like the idea of ice wings having dense fur on their underside. perhaps between scales on the top#<doesn’t make Much anatomical sense but I don’t CARE#uhhh seawings. need to be more streamlined#either shaped like seals or such or otters PLEASE#sky wings are fine but they should have more beak I think#out of all of em they should have feathers#UMMMMsand. uh. would it make sense for them to have darker scales? or BE NOCTURNAL pls. ugh#ALSO I like the idea of nightwing hybrids usually cause the offspring to have more saturation in color#based off sunny. doesn’t make sense but I THINK ITD BE COOL

+ a little scene redraw (committed the mistake of asking my friends to pick, from a poll, what i should draw. jokingly added "(evil answer)" after dipcifica and everyone picked that. because they hate me): the babies 🤏

been trying the last few days to make cartoony designs for the lads! mostly to make up for egons design in the real ghostbusters because. what. even was that
trying them out by redrawing some scenes!!! gonna try and do a couple from the cartoon too with em maybe because they’re too fun (can you tell egon’s design is my favourite :3 peter’s is pretty fun after him). Feel free to suggest a scene in the comments/reblogs or drop a screencap in my ask box if you’d like!! no promises because i have a couple picked out but i’d love to know what other people would want to see — and also if anyone has a preference for which of these i should clean up and colour first!
