Neopronouns are not even real pronouns. A pronoun is a noun used to describe a living being. They/Them is fine, they are real pronouns used in the English language. And yes, while I think there is no possible way for someone who has boy or girl genes to actually be non-binary, I will respect them as a person. But, neopronouns, however, are way over the top. I’ve seen people online who identify as like, xe/xem. That’s ridiculous, they’re not even a part of the English language. I’ve seen one person who identified as shark/sharkself. That is so annoying. I’m not gonna call you “shark” bro. Nobody is gonna call you that, except for maybe people as delusional as you. So, I’m conclusion, yes, neopronouns are ridiculous and stupid and unnecessary. Whoever uses them certainly needs mental help, but instead we are celebrating and giving them parades and telling them it’s fine and not stupid at all to identify as a fucking shark.

That being said, if we Normalize these outrageous neopronouns, I don't think I'll be able to handle meeting another three or more person with unique neopronouns, I don’t think I'll care about memorizing them if we don’t get along. I can only imagine that inside their head they are going like “Why can’t everyone understand me? why can’t anyone respect me? why can’t anyone get along with me? me… me…me…”. This is just starting to become a narcissistic play.  It’s just sad that you yourself are intentionally creating a situation that excludes you from other people. You are making yourself too different, you eventually get depressed, commit die and well, will anybody care about you in the end?

Pronouns replace nouns and they are a part of a language. Not something we just make up because we think we are more special than anyone else.

Also, this stuff only appeals to children, or adults with some sort of arrested development. No mature human being would want to go by ���cupcakeself”.

We all have names. If you want to rebel against pronouns why can’t you just use your name? Be “Johnself” or “Sallyself” or something people can remember. We aren’t going to trouble ourselves to memorize some made up nounself words.

and seeing as you mentioned nonbinary people. you know that there are more sexes than just male and female right? like biologically. they taught you male and female in school to simplify things for your developing brain, like how they tell you that electrons are particles and you cant square root -1. but once you start studying these things at a more in depth level, you realise that they arent that simple at all. biological sex exists on a spectrum. it is a collection of attributes that can behave any number of ways. including hormones, genitalia, chromosomes, secondary sex characteristics, and more.

"Alright, the steps are simple." Sidon cued the director, who tapped his baton.

As the music started, he put his hands into position on your waist and hand. You followed suit, grasping his hand and putting your hand on top of his arm due to his height.

How did you end up dancing with the Zora Prince? Well, you had always wanted to dance, but the instructions never felt clear. That being said, Sidon took it upon himself to being your teacher, especially after you asked if he knew how to dance. He wouldn't dare miss up a chance to give his assistance.

"One two three, one two three." The music was slow, and Sidon's steps were clear after he gave the instructions. Move your foot like so, one. Step down, two. Move your body. Three. Going this speed, it wasn't so bad. You could actually move with some semblance of grace. "Yes! Wonderful! You're doing amazing!"

Sidon's praise made your cheeks a rosy pink, a shy smile growing on your face. "I-It's still slow. This really isn't much."

"Shall we go faster?"

"W-Wait--"

Sidon raised a hand, signaling the director to pick up the speed. With increased tempo came increased movements.

"One two three, one two three."

"O-One two three, one t-two three."

You tried keeping up with Sidon, the slight increase of speed already messing with your stepping. Your legs became tangled, and while trying to fix it, you stepped on Sidon's feet.

"G-Gh!"

Panicked, you stumbled back, hands over your mouth. "I-I'm so sorry, your highness!"

Chuckling, Sidon hopped on his good foot for a moment, lifting the stomped one to gently rub at the spot. "N-No worries, friend! It all comes with learning!"

A sense of guilt began to wash over you. Was this a bad idea? Did Sidon think you were too clumsy at this point to learn? After all, you barely just now got the slow steps down. How were you supposed move faster after just learning that?

"Shall we try again?"

...Should you? You nervously rubbed your arm, shyly looking away. "I-I think...maybe this was a stupid idea..." You took a step away from him as he approached you with an equal step.

Sidon's face fell into a look of hurt. He was hurt by your words, but not on his behalf. It was more like a worry for you. You had merely asked for assistance, and the way you were changing your mind startled him. He motioned for the band and director to take a break, telling them that he'll come and get him when they were ready. As they did, you found a seat on a large, nearby rock, facing away from the prince. You sat there alone for some time until Sidon sat beside you on the ground.

"...You want to know something?" he asked softly. "When I was learning how to dance, I stepped all over my sister's fins"

You kept your gaze ahead, but you listened.

"Yes I was much shorter than her, yet I insisted on learning the proper way. Such an inistance led to her poor feet being covered in little bruises from me stepping on her. She offered to hold me and take me through the motions, but I told her I wanted to learn properly."

You wondered why he was telling you this. At the moment, it just wasn't clicking in your head.

Sidon looked over at you, giving you one of his comforting smiles. "What I'm saying is, no one is going to get things right away. There will be trials, there will be hardships, even with something as simple as dancing."

You started to understand, sighing out and rubbing the back of your head sheepishly. "I-I just...I don't want you to see me as some klutz...I want to seem elegant to you, match the energy you have..."

"Oh, my dear. I am far from what elegance you think I have." Sidon let out a chuckle, gently rubbing your back for reassurance. "Trust me, I often wish the same from my father, to be as elegant and dignified as him. I still work on it everyday."

Sidon? In a similar position as you? It felt impossible but...well...it did feel reassuring to not be alone. And he was right, these things take time after all.

"So...Shall we work on our steps again?" Sidon asked with a more signature grin of his, holding out his hand.

I just want the angels to be far more nonchalant about gender. Let them say 'my brother' in one sentence and 'my sister' in the next and it takes Sam and Dean a full five minutes to realize that they are talking about the same angel in both instances. Like. The words are synonyms for them and they use them interchangeably with 'sibling' and 'brethren'. Same with pronouns. Like. 'Oh yes, she is a good warrior. But he is also very adept at healing.' Once again, it's the same angel. 'They' is also used a lot. (Except when an angel has a preference, in which case the others sigh but comply, as they do with the humans. Most of the angels do not understand those silly little genders, but they respect the people who have them.)

😭: i think the inciting incident/first few weeks of the infection were the most hard-hitting because she'd feel physically bad all the time with seemingly no source and hallucinate sounds that didn't exist and get terrible intrusive thoughts. i think once it really started growing and getting a hold of her she just started getting numb to it

i really love tarot cards! some people think they can tell the future which is okay (i guess), but personally, i just use them to help me recognize themes in my and other people's life/lives from an unbiased perspective and help make things better.

my favorite kind of spells are jar spells and tea spells. if i'm doing spells, they're normally protection spells, self-love spells, or anti-anxiety/depression/bad vibe spells. i don't really believe in trying to use hexes or curses because then you're no better than the person you're cursing.

i love art, but i'm not very good at it, so for the most part i do abstract art instead of realistic art. abstract art is pretty fun, too!

i'm trying to get better at using proportions and things, though. my favorite method is the loomis method and i love the youtube channel proko.

i have a lot of unpopular opinions. some are big and some are small. that's just who i am. my mom's insanely left wing and lgbtq+ herself, but my dad's neither left nor right wing, leaving him hated by both wings. i've become a weird mix where i'm definitely more left wing than right, but i'm also not really either wing.

for example, i think that, if I'm being honest, the amount of labels in LGBTQ+ community has gotten out of hand. i'm not saying that the feelings aren't real. I'm not saying that it's impossible to not want to have sex or feel physical attraction until you get to know someone. but some genders & sexualities sound a lot more like a preference to me. i think that a lot of labels that exist could easily fit into other ones that already did exist. i also feel that you need some kind of dysphoria to be genderqueer and that neopronouns are a bit unnecessary.

basically, the rule of thumb for me is that i don't give a fuck. by saying this, i mean that i both do not give a fuck: 1) in that you can do whatever you want and be whoever you want and don't have to to live by my opinions. i understand and respect that and i’ll love you the same as long as you’re not hurting anyone with your actions. 2) in that i won't tiptoe around you, trying not to hurt you. i will share my opinion, regardless of whether or not it hurts you. i speak my mind; that's how i've always been and always will be.

2. Otherkin again. If you have a tail, wings, anything that could possibly get in the way, LEARN TO KEEP THEM OUT OF THE WAY OF EVERYONE ELSE. DON’T COMPLAIN ABOUT IT IF YOU CAN’T FIGURE OUT HOW TO KEEP YOUR SHIT PUT UP.

3. Ah, those wonderful fat acceptance people. Fat acceptance is stupid. Being fat is scientifically proven to be unhealthy. Ya look disgusting. Get a life. (Edit: I mean those who actively make a choice that caused them to gain weight and now think they are entitled to the pip pipping of the diddly do and other things due to being heavier are disgusting, not that all bigger people look gross. If they’re okay with it, you can give them better hugs!)

4. Certain types of feminists that seem to have once characterized this wasteland of a social platform. You can indeed be sexist towards men, and it is very not cool. Everyone deserves to be EQUAL. Women are not superior. Men are not inferior. Everyone’s great and special in their own way!

5. Oh boy my own kind, trans people. Look. Getting misgendered sucks, I know. But you know what? You don’t need to be rude if it was honestly a little slip-up. Just calmly and gently remind the person of your pronouns and they should apologize. In the case they don’t, and instead decide to truly invalidate you, go sicko mode all you want, honey. (Edited to not exclude neopronouns, love neopronouns)

6. Anyone who needs to see this. You don’t need to pretend to be something you’re not for attention. You can do so many more productive things to catch people’s eye, like maybe art. Art of any form is like !! Wow!! Pretty!! Do that instead of pretending. I’m not trying to shame anyone, I just want to offer suggestions and help.

7. Overly religious folks. (Ngl I’ve met a good amount of super chill religious people who aren’t the ones I’m talking to) If you tell someone being gay/bi/trans is a sin and they’re going to Hell, that’s a bad thing to do. Besides, that just means Hell will be super stylish when I get there. (More for Christians oof)

8. Everyone. Anti-vaxxers are child murderers and imbeciles. They are a cult started by a narcissistic actress and a discredited scientist.

9. All y'all. The Earth is not perfectly round. It is not flat. You know what it is? A giant fucking chunk of rock floating in space. It kinda looks like a lumpy egg tbh.

10. The world. This isn’t a truth, it’s more of a plea. Love each other. We fight because of our differences, never seeing what makes us all the same. Maybe we can flip that around? We can love each other for what makes us all the same instead of hurting and killing each other over little differences. Just a thought, and a plea. For sense, and acceptance, and peace.
