Demyx creeps up behind Xigbar. "Hey there!" He greeted, slapping his ass. [[ Happy 9/2 ]]

Xigbar jumped, turning and grinning, "Hey there."

"Chocolate it is." He chuckled, leaning down and kissing Demyx's head before going to fetch the ice cream.

"Sure." He hummed, sprawling a bit on the blanket, looking up at the sky. “I’ll have whatever you’re having." He added, smiling warmly.

"Sounds nice." He smiled, looking out to the ocean for a second, fondly remembering the day the other dragged him from the water, "I'll run and get it, if ya don't want to lose the spot."

"Let’s go get ice cream and then we’ll cuddle." He hummed, standing up, offering his hand. He was just happy to be with Xigbar. It was funny. This beach was his beach- the beach he worked and the beach he had saved Xigbar at. And he loved coming back to it for relaxation with him.

"'Long as you don't fall asleep, we can always do both." He chuckled, "Sounds great, though. We could maybe get ice cream later, too."

"Well I just want to lay here on the sand and cuddle. But I think visiting the vendors would be fun too." He laughed, leaning over to nuzzle the salt and pepper haired male.

"Anything you want, kiddo." Xigbar smiled back, scratching behind his head.

He smiled, enjoying the small touch. “Xigbar, what do you wanna do first?" He asked, propping himself up.

"I've just recently quit a job, that's all." He scratched behind his head, "Get mistaken sometimes. Where in radiant gardens do you live? I can take you to the closest entrance."

A new visitor

She nodded and blinked. “What else would I do?" Marly looked really confused. “I need to get back to Radiant Gardens. My kids are there and Vexen isn’t going to take care of them by himself."

"Uh... well..." He looked both ways, "I know this place pretty well... uh... you do actually want directions to your house, right?"

A new visitor

She blinked and looked over the strange man. “U-um.. I’m lost. I was trying to go back home, but I think I made a wrong turn." Marly pouted. “C-Can you help me?"

Xigbar blushed lightly, but let him, nuzZLING Demyx's nose softly. He gave him a soft kiss as he let go and rolled next to him stroking his hand.

When Xigbar crawled over to him he smiled and kissed him back, wrapping his arms around the elder males shoulders as he tugged them both down to laying on the blanket. After a while he let go, grinning.

Xigbar smiled back, helping as best he could to flatten the blanket before crawling on top and kissing Demyx's cheek. 

They made their way down the road, his sunstained hand wrapped around the older male’s scarred one. He took a step on to the sand and smiled back at Xigbar, leading him to an open patch of sand, setting up their blanket to sit on.

Xigbar looked up to Marluxia, jumping a little and smiling, "Hello, there... something you want, pinkie?"

Xigbar hugged him close, smiling and nodding, "It is. I can't wait." He chuckled lightly, taking Demyx's free hand and letting him lead the way.

He happily motioned for his boyfriend to follow along. His hands were full, so he offered an awkward hug of his open arms, grinning.

"Aren't you glad we're only a block away? It's gonna be a blast." He excitedly cheered, starting towards the door.

Xigbar had talked to his boss the other day about getting the day off and was excited for his and Demyx's date. He'd been looking forward to it since they'd planned it out and he wasn't going to let anything spoil it. He'd put on some warm clothes, packing some more in a bag incase he got too hot.

When he saw Demyx in the doorway, he almost leaped up, smiling wide and blushing softly, "I'm ready when you are, kid."

Demyx had gotten everything ready; the basket full of their picnic lunch, the bag of towels and beach blankets, and other miscellaneous things. He’d asked Xigbar if he could get the day off, because he’d managed to snag the day off (read: traded with his friend so the younger lifeguard was working,) and wanted to go on a date. It was one of their few real dates, but he adored them. Demyx found Xigbar that morning in the bedroom, eagerly leaning in the doorframe. “C’mon, let’s get there before it gets crowded."
