— god he would be so unbearable at first. he’d try and find an excuse to hang out with you and that excuse would be studying. like, whether or not you guys live on the same floor in the dorms or just in the same class he’d always be like..

— “hey do you have notes for ___”, “do you wanna study with me in the commons?” “what grade did you get on the paper? we should compare next time”

— he would be so annoying about it and he wouldn’t even realize. sorry. haha.

— he’d just chalk it up to him being a bit more comfortable with you, you’re easy to talk too! but in reality he just needed reasons to see you. and what better excuse than classes?

— as a study partner however. maybe you get things done. most of the time you do. him however? he kinda needs someone to keep him in check. if hes alone he’ll end up doodling on all his papers and have to go back to a far away building to reprint his assignments.

— he’d doodle animals i think. big animal guy. he’d compare you to animals he thinks are cute and you may or may not take offense to that. it’s his way of flirting, honest!!

— i think after awhile he’d be more open to inviting you to other things. i’d start with school events then movies then maybe walks in a park nearby! he is not dense, if you seem uninterested he’ll back off.

— once you two start going on dates (whoever confesses first, it is up to you..) but nonetheless, he will insist on paying first. at least for the first few. if you don’t intervene he’ll pay for all. haha. it’s just how he was raised.

— cute cheap things though. like maybe a drive in movie theater, or ice cream, or walking around a pretty area downtown.

— he seems like a mint chocolate chip guy. the type to deny that it tastes like toothpaste. it’s just mint!! that or something healthy. as healthy as ice cream could get.

— he would play some kind of sport. i do not know a thing about sports, so i’ll leave it at that. he’d want someone who’d come to his games and support him and be there!! being there is the way he feels most loved, most likely.

— he would get injured so easily. whether that be from sports or him just being clumsy he is susceptible for injury- someone out there is out to get him.

— he’d like it if you patched him up. he likes being taken care of too! after a few times he’d just end up feeling bad and do it himself, but if you insist he wouldn’t mind that either..

— i also mentioned in my general headcanons that he is a morning person. in college that is true as well, but he would be taking the fattest afternoon naps. you, friends, family, school, work, sports… he is taking a nap.. maybe join him!!

— this is a common occurrence in curly fics. but he is the big spoon. he likes squeezing and squishing you like a plush doll.

— with all that on his shoulders he is not the best at managing his time. he would be extremely apologetic if he was late in anyway to a date and such but it’s bound to happen.

— he is friends with other girls. sorry. i think it is a green flag if a guy can be friends and only friends with girls. just means they view girls as more than a potential girlfriend. he’d never give you a reason to worry about him cheating, but if you had any sort of insecurity he’d adjust that thought process of his or just give you extra reassurance!

— during finals/mid-terms he is extra attentive to you. it is a stressful time for him but that must also mean it’s stressful for you too. small things like getting you food when you’re studying, making sure you’re taking breaks.

have u ever talked anywhere about your coloring or composition processes? u are honestly one of my favorite artists and i would love to hear any insight on how you make pieces 💓

wahh thank you TTT !!! I did sorta give a very simplistic answer here but it was more of my simpler sketchy style so lemme redo that, ill try to be consise and make this understandable ?? its a bit hard cuz it honest to god depends on what Kind of piece im even drawing, cuz for some i go the whole length of doing lineart flats and all that, others i just just fuck around untill it looks right?

i do usually start with a rough sketch or colour draft, especially with more compley pieces this helps with figuring out the feel, honestly i should spend more time drafting properly, figuring out poses and such but im so lazy i just go w the first thing that looks good

then just lines over the colour draft, fixing lots of anatomy and proportion stuff, and depending on how i wanna do the colours ill either keep the colour layers or merge them together and have the edited colours as the base colour (this might not even make sense help)

see this piece at the time gave me an insane ammount of trouble with lighting and colours, so after trying to render i ended up merging everything together....which i dont USUALLY do but the rendering is pretty similar except usually i have colours be seperated by layer,

ANYWAYS sadly i dont have a process on how it got from flats to this specific render for this piece...but i still followed my initial drafts/plans with vibe and colours and just painted over it, its why i make it after all!

but honestly a lot of times its just very simple colours and just trying to mainting good contrast and values !!!! and THEN fucking around with colours and rextures, for other pieces i kinda just paint as i go? i have this timelapse of my justice piece that may be a bit more help!

it includes the initial colour draft, the cleanup/lining process, flats, rendering, and all that so its probs the most accurate timelapse of my morecomplex work processes, with stuff that doesnt include heavier backgrounds, which is a whole OTHER topic honestly

im sorry if i cant explain it more cohesively, i genuinely barely know what im doing most times and go by muscle memory and stuff i Know but cant. Explain? like i know how light and folds work since i observed and studied them but i cannot put it into words at all )--)0

How could you, a pretty girl with the body of a goddess, possibly think you look less than he thinks?

It was in the afternoon, you had invited Scaramouche to come over to your dorm, since it was the weekends and you had no subject to study, you finished two exams last week. So you wanted to have a nice day off, where your lover would be there.

But before that you decided to take a shower, u have already been outside with your friends Hu Tao and Yanfei, spending time with them since they were from another school.

You hated your bathroom. Why? Because the mirror there was huge.

Slowly taking off your clothes, its almost impossible to ignore your reflection. Its there no matter where you turn—seriously, its like they made the dorms' bathrooms like this on purpose, just to make you feel even worse about yourself as if before wasnt already enough.

You cringe at yourself once you took off your clothes. You should hurry up in the shower—but something made you stay in front of the mirror, criticizing yourself with your own thoughts. Turning a bit to the side to look at other various parts of your body, finding nothing decent or enough for yourself. You sighed, you should be positive right now, school isnt in the way and you should be relaxing.

With a glare at your own reflection, before getting into the shower quickly, turning on some warm water. Showers should be relaxing, but as you washed your body, using soap, making there be various white bubbles on your skin, they smell quite nice, and are certainly fun to play with.

But the feeling of your own hands on your body distracted you. The way you felt under your own touch, it somewhat... Disgusts you.

Finally—once you were done with showering, taking a towel and wrapping it around your body, shivering as the cool air hit against your wet skin. You dried off your hair, brushed it out, trying not to stare at the mirror too much. Maybe you're just too judgemental. Maybe you're not as bad as you think?

After you were done with your hair—you must not have noticed, but there was a sudden knock at your bathroom door. Then it opened up to reveal Scaramouche. Well, he peeked through it first to check was he invading any privacy.

"Damn, this was the last place i was gonna check. I came here like five minutes ago." Scaramouche sighed in relief to seeing you, not at all bothered by the fact you're only in a towel. He pressed a kiss to your lips as a greeting, ruffling your half dry hair.

Though, you looked uncomfortable. Not with the fact your lover had come into the bathroom while you were in just a towel, but the fact your body was pretty exposed to him, and you thought, what id he judged you? Maybe not out loud, but what if he was thinking about it?

Noticing your discomfort, Scaramouches eyes widened for a split second at his realization, then spoke up, "i can leave if you want—to wait for u to get changed." , he gave you a half smile. But you told him its alright. Why? You wanna just push him away.

At your answer, he smiled softly, nodding. Maybe you just needed him here, after a hard week. What he thought was different than what you thought. Seeing this as a nice opportunity, he went behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist, his chin on your shoulder as he gave you a goofy, lazy smirk, looking at the mirror where you two can be seen. Maybe you should've kicked him out...

"You always look so pretty after showering—like all clean, pretty, and u smell nice." Scaramouche mumbled, as if shy to admit. "wait i said pretty twice. Replace one of those words with 'gorgeous' then." You couldn't tell if he was flirting with you or genuinely fucked up with his words.

But the way you looked at him with almost surprise at what he said, his eyebrow raised as his expression changed.

"Why do you look like i fucking said i discovered the moon and flew to mars? Dont you know youre pretty?" He said, his usual personality showing. He doesnt exactly like being all mushy, but for you, he's a sucker. So he's nicer...

Maybe it was finally time to admit it. He was your lover anyway, and you trusted him. You nodded slowly, then immediately looked away, regretting what you just did. That... Shocked Scaramouche! You, not pretty? Were you high!?

".. Huh? Did someone tell you you're not pretty? Ill fuck them up. Who was it?" He narrowed his eyes, his embrace around your waist tightening. His protective side definitely was showing. But once he didnt get a reply, seeing the way you frowned and refuses to look at the mirror, he realized the situation.

"... [y/n]? Dont tell me you tell yourself that..." Scaramouche sighed. Figuring you werent comfortable with the mirror, he turned you around, so you can face him again. You even thought he was prettier than you will ever be. Well, he's here to prove you're better than you think!

"[y/n]. I know i dont say this a lot, but you're gorgeous to me. God, these words sound so cliche.. But its true. You're the most gorgeous, pretty, beautiful—fuck, what else—cute, adorable girl i have ever met. Okay?" Scaramouche stared into your eyes. He definitely wasnt the best at comfort, but he wants to try his best—for you.

Then he softly smiled at you. "Hey, lets get you dressed up and we can talk about how magnificent you really are?", he kissed your nose, hos face flushing immediately right after as he lead you out of the bathroom, talking to you along the way.

"You may have your flaws and all that, but thats what makes you, you. You know? I like your flaws." Scaramouche admitted, blushing like an idiot when he looked away once he told you what he thought.

Soon enough, you were dressed, dragged to bed by Scaramouche who quite literally forced you to be the little spoon this time. You could barely hear the tv over him talking about how pretty he thinks you are.

Yeah, if anyone even dared to even joke about you being 'ugly', he's getting suspended because of reasons you know what happens.

Martyn thumbed the instrument that faintly stuck out of his armour. The pad of his finger met a cool, flaky surface while he firmly pressed against each key that he could reach. Nimble fingers wrapped around the rod, only squeezing.

It was bestowed to Martyn from Ren; simply on a lazy afternoon warmed by fireflies. The two cleared chests from the past in search of resources. As Martyn tidied his own area, separating his junk from a few emeralds, he had turned to see Ren’s hands cupping something.

Somethin’ from me mother,” he recalled before Martyn could ask, cornflowers eyes still settled on it. Despite his sharp nails, the man almost cradled it to his chest.

“A trinket, I suppose. She always urged me to do anything but read all day.” A soft chuckle. “She despised the tragedies I read. Too solemn for her liking.”

Martyn studied it from where he stood. “A bit old, don’t you think, my liege? What do you suppose we do with it?”

Ren hummed. He then held it out of towards the other. “You should keep it.”

Martyn blinked. As sharp his brain was moving, his syrup filled mouth couldn’t seem to follow.

Ren still held out the flute.

“Er…” Words. “Are you sure, my king? You’ve had it for years, a-and you probably want to hand it to someone else. I’m sure BigB would appreciate it.”

Though the metal tinted brown with age and a few notes wheezed as they were played, Martyn promised his king that he’d make good use of it.

Senior year's fall quarter flew by in a blur and Ria honestly didn't know how it happened. Though she did enjoy hanging out with her friends, having group study sessions in the library, and performing at open mics with Mila, none of it brought the joy of having Maria being with her.

She missed frequenting the coffee shop with her before going to school, she missed seeing her in the morning announcements, she missed running into her between classes and giving quick kisses, she missed having lunch with her in the courtyard, she missed working with her in the homecoming committee. There were so many things that every place in Berry High reminded her of Maria.

Though they had video calls every once in a while, that also began gradually reducing because of Maria's increasingly hectic college schedule.

She was grateful when winter break had started. It gave her a break from all the schoolwork, and she got some time to recharge her social battery.

One snowy morning, she was lying down in her bed, too lazy to get up. Her dad had gone out to run some errands when the doorbell rang. Ria was surprised as to who it could be. Surely her dad would have taken the house keys with him.

The doorbell started ringing with a more urgent frequency, and Ria annoyingly lifted herself up. She opened the door to find a familiar brunette standing there, smiling at her.

'Hey, happy winter break.' said Maria. 'Are you gonna - oof'

She was cut off when Ria flung herself at her giving her a tight hug, that Maria was nearly knocked off her feet.

'Im soo happy you're here, I've missed you!' said Ria, squealing in delight.

'I've missed you too, love.' said Maria, ruffling her hair. 'Now, are you gonna let me in? It's pretty cold.'

'Oh sorry.' said Ria, as she laced her fingers with Maria, pulling her in.

She quickly shut the door and pushed Maria onto the couch, straddling her.

A genius inventor and scientist far before his time. Also the king! Um idk not much of his personality has changed here. He does show off his amazing works but his most impressive ones he keeps hidden away for safety.

Chetyre Cobs (MePhone4 CHETYRE MEANS FOUR IN RUSSIAN IM NOT JUST MAKING RANDOM NAMES) — He/She (but likee people only know her as he/him cause this is ye old day but I'm too queer to not make the characters still queer) — 28

The fourth prince of the kingdom, but he's not the only 'fourth' one as his twin also takes on that role with him. He's still a robot in this AU, but that fact is unknown to the public and only recently discovered by him. She's also more obviously nervous than his original counterpart, and some other subtle differences but there's not many major changes about her in this AU.

Tessa Turnber (Test Tube) — She/Her — 25

Also a scientist way before her time though not on the same level as Cobs. She makes medicine aswell as contraptions. A lot of the other townsfolks think she's a witch. Because of this she usually she keeps to herself and dislikes talking to most others. Not because she dislikes social interactions, but because she dislikes the people themselves. And also she doesn't wish to make them want to burn her on the stake any more than they already do! Lampieta is an exception.

Lampieta Bulb (Lightbulb) — She/Her — 24

Unemployed, Lampieta appeared in town one day and begged Tessa to let her live with her since nobody else in the town offered her a place to live. As previously stated, she has no actual job but sometimes helps out when Tessa needs her to! Sometimes she'll write up crazy stories, but nobody's ever read them yet. She also likes to go wander outside, but the other townsfolk aren't the most fond of her.

Paige Breward (Paintbrush) — They/Them — 24

Paige works as an artist in the town. They have a lot to say but nobody to listen. Most of the time they paint landscapes or scenery, but portraits aren't necessarily off limits for them either. They're a bit more collected in this AU, but not much more calm. Most of the time they spend is with their crazy roommate.

Michelle Phillips (Microphone) — She/Her — 25

Michelle still doesn't quite know what to do with her life. She plays instruments like the piano and sometimes composes things too, but she feels as if her musical hobby isn't enough to get her out in life. With not many people in the town viewing her as useful, most days she just lounges around in her house and going out to the forest. She also may or may not have had feelings for the chemist next door. Unfortunately enough for her, she feels as if Tessa doesnt like her much either.

So I haven't posted in a while. Little updates:

I finished arc 1 of Guardian in chinese again. So now I wont feel bad reading the book 1 english translation.

I took a break from chinese for a while then came back to read. And its interesting to me how much is stored like "2nd level down" in my memory. I don't recall words when trying to talk, after a long enough break. But I start reading, and my brain subvocalizes the hanzi and I can recall this Gist General Meaning of the words. Some words I recall their meaning and all, some just an overall general idea. But I havent forgotten much, nothing totally forgotten, and then most of the details of words come back within an hour or reading. Its surprising to me that reading chinese, memory wise, seems a LOT like reading french. I didnt expect it to be quite as similar a process. But it seems that remembering hanzi Words is as permanent as remembering french word stems/endings (or english ones). Reading skills have long staying power, and don't degrade much even with long breaks between usage. This is Excellent news. Since I don't have time to study much for the next several months, so I'm glad reading skills will stay as good as they are Or Improve if I read, without needing maintenance study. I'd like to improve my listening skill too, because being able to understand audiobooks would increase the chinese novels I could get through that I want to read (audiobooks would be faster than reading). But I dont have time yet for listening reading combo study, and time will tell if i do that activity WHEN and IF listening skills also gradually solidify then become reliable so one can study more sporadically and still see improvement.

My french skills are. Fascinating. I havent purposely studied in like over 5 years. I dont get that much French exposure (my google is in french but tbh google email and notifications do not use a big variety of words). But I've noticed a dramatic improvement in listening skills. My french reading skills have been fine for years. Theyre at a level where I can read like a high schooler: so i can read fiction for adults, but some words or literary devices go over my head and I have to just guess, the more in depth text analysis of themes might be a challenge, but just getting the story/information/most details is fine. I havent had to limit what i read in french in ages. Its just a matter of in french i feel like i did in high school where some fiction makes me "think hard" to grasp some points, versus english where i dont run into needing to Think Hard like that unless I'm reading something written pre-1800s. Anyway my point is: reading skills have been stable a while in french. Listening skills have markedly improved despite very little purposeful practice. I think I should probably start listening to podcasts or audiobooks some point soon. Through scattered listening to B1 and B2 comprehensible audio on youtube, and french shows, im to a point where if the audio has visual context i can follow everything going on and learn new words pretty easy. So now its just listening to french when i have no visuals to rely on, that's a struggle. I remember a few years back, i could not listen to french shows id just get confused, i needed the subtitles to follow anything. My ears mustve gotten used to french or just gotten used to Listening Better to things. Anyway, if i start trying and French Listening Only materials ill mention some progress.

Anyone have any french audiobooks or podcasts/fiction story podcasts they enjoy???

Japanese. also in a weird place. ToT. My biggest hurdle isnt even japanese: its being too chicken to challenge myself. I can play Yakuza Ishin in japanese and follow the main idea and objectives and main points in scenes. Yet i have NOT played more cause it feels Draining to grasp all that info from context and im lazy. I know if i watch a show in only japanese, with japanese subtitles, i know enough to grasp the main plot. But im lazy and its a LOT of effort to see the japanese subtitles and match new sounding words with kanji and try to remember the new pronunciation AND pay attention to the brand new plot. So i fall back onto english subs. I KNOW i can read japanese novels with a click dictionary, its just such SLOW reading, and if i just read while listening and Guess all unknown words its mentally exhausting even though its faster. I even have the easy peasy Glossika Japanese audio to listen to, but im still on lesson 36 because i have to Pay Full Attention when i listen to new lessons and im too lazy to listen with full attention ToT. I can watch lets plays in japanese, i understand them, but the effort of focusing is so much MORE than it would take if i just went to watch an english lets play where i can just hear in the background and follow it fine not even looking at it.

I am at a POINT in japanese where I CAN just learn by doing now! Which is huge! Its an incredibly useful milestone to be at! And makes future study, in the long run, much less daunting to plan as it can become just Do Stuff In Japanese to study. But since im at the beginning of this Comprehend Enough to Learn More from Context phase... learning new stuff from context still takes SO MUCH EFFORT. ITS SO DRAINING. Paying enough attention to comprehend things ive studied is exhausting, paying extra attention to new stuff and guessing what it means is draining and requires a Lot of focus. I know this is just how this stage goes but. Im so lazy.

What i need is something in japanese im SO interested in, that it drives me to engage with it even though I'm drained because im so Curious and Interested in understanding, so i push through until comprehending gets easier. Ideally, a game or show, something that plays so i am Forced to frequently proceed to the next sentence. Because with books and manga i will just stop and dwell on a paragraph for 2 hours and not learn much new stuff.

This stage is especially grating because im not in the stage with french or chinese anymore. I can listen to chinese shows in the background, check my phone while listening, not use the chinese subtitles, pay half attention while drawing. Chinese audiobooks require More attention, but i can listen to them walking or driving without subtitles/transcript and still follow the plot. With french Im to that same comfortable point with shows and youtube videos, not audio only stuff yet but i dont Engage with french audio only stuff. My point is Japanese is the only one where Im really feeling that INTENSE FOCUS drain whenever i try to engage with challenging new stuff in japanese. I dont feel an intense drain with chinese unless I read one of my harder reading level Print Novels or a higher vocab audio only material. I dont feel it with french unless Im doing it with audio only material. I feel the drain constantly with japanese.

i dont consider myself a very skilled artist yet, and im also not an art student, but im willing to give some (personal) tips i learned along the journey i went through in making art!

(assuming anon means art in general not comics)

1. (this is obvious but some actually dont do this, ok tbh even i dont because im lazy lol) watch tutorials from the internet, like youtube. there are a lot of videos available there from pro artists!

2. practice anatomy first, or linearting. you can start learning more about rendering later. if you want to focus more on making pretty but simple art, then you should study how to draw anatomy decently first, then you can just use some flat colors if youre not confident yet or still practicing your rendering! because from what i observed from my past artworks, detailed rendering doesnt do much if the anatomy and lineart aren't done well TT (anatomy doesnt have to be accurate by the way, as long as it looks aesthetically pleasing to the eyes youre good! imo at least)

3. steal some processes from other artists, then mix it with your own. it helps in experimenting and building your own style that you find comfortable to do! but you dont really have to find a specific style, you can draw inconsistently, if that's what makes you enjoy art! dont pressure yourself in finding a style, take your time! it even took me almost a decade to find mine (yes i just found a style im satisfied with recently that i can actually make consistently TT)

4. for rendering, im not confident in giving tips regarding it yet, because im still struggling with lighting and such. but im willing to share my process next time with images! just ask again if youre interested ^^

5. the most important part, have fun with the process! this sounds cliche, but to me this is what my goal is currently. i used to enjoy making them so much when i started, so im doing my best to feel happy with the process again, not only focusing on the result! also i believe in [happy process = good result] hehe

hiiiiii Asia. ive been so busy experiencing an actual social life and having very lgbt things happening to me that my interest in studying has dipped by a scary amount. like yeah im gaining unlimited rizz right now because of my Venus return… but ive been getting too lazy and hedonistic out here so im struggling 🥲 rip in peace to me ig

but if im not gonna do studying then i should at least keep up my interest by studying other charts. ive pretty much exhausted the boys — unless something in the astro weather occurs onto Micky, there’s not much left to share. of course though if i find anything new to me you know i’ll message you straight away 🫶🏻

so instead of the guys, i hear people around here like this band called “the beatles”. i don’t know much about them so forgive me that i won’t be able to go in-depth with it (beatlemaniacs do your thing), but i’ll share some astro observations anyways:

Paul’s chart goes crazy with the 3H & 4H stelliums — majority of them in Gemini; as a Gemini stellium myself i bet either of two things: 1. once you get him talking he never shuts the fuck up, or 2. doesn’t talk unless it’s to provide information (😔🤚🏻 guilty as charged officer). only his Jupiter (+ asteroid Hygeia) are in Cancer in his 4H. his Moon, Mars, Pluto and asteroid Chiron are in the 6H ruled by Leo, so his normal life is always entertaining yet risky… perhaps at the cost of his fame. his 8H, 9H and 10H are all empty.

John has a 6H stellium, primarily in Libra, as his Venus and Neptune (+ asteroid Chariklo) are in Virgo, which i think is definitely where his personal philosophy stems from; Libra is all about balance, peace and relationships, while Virgo is all about practicality, routine and health. his 1H has his Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus all in Taurus. his Aquarius Moon resides in the 11H and his Scorpio Mercury resides in his 7H — absolute weird girl energy. i took a skim of the aspects and they’re a lot of squares jumping out, so lots of conflict between wants and needs. he has an empty 3H and 8H.

George has a 1H Scorpio Moon, which is a great start /sc. his asteroid Psyche also resides in his 1H… i sense a moody bitch in our midst. interestingly it’s hard to pinpoint a stellium for him, i would say his 4H and 9H, which both houses dual two different signs; it’s giving confusion and contradictions. his Pisces Sun and Aquarius Mercury reside in the 4H, his Pisces Venus residing in the 5H, his Capricorn Mars residing in the 3H, his Jupiter and Pluto residing in the 9H, and his Saturn and Uranus (+ Vertex) residing in the 8H. he has an empty 2H and 7H — he has no Sagittarius placements either.

Ringo has a 5H stellium, mostly in Leo, as his asteroid Chiron is in Cancer; his Moon, Mercury, Mars and Pluto reside there, which makes him sound like so much fun honestly, but might be an egomaniac at points (it happens to the best of all Leo placements — esp the Pluto Leo boomer generation lol). his Sun and Venus in Cancer reside in the 4H, his Virgo Neptune in the 6H, his Jupiter and Saturn in Taurus in the 1H, and Taurus Uranus in the 2H. he has his 8H and 10H empty, and he has no Scorpio placements.

silly little wip i’ve been working on. too lazy to make a fancy info thingy before it. I’m not sure if I’ll finish it because even though Khadija is a character I use regularly, this is not for a roleplay and more of a uhhh oneshot, I guess you could say.

I also must add a disclaimer that theres some pretty offensive language here but none of these are my genuine opinions. I write in the perspectives of my characters and Khadija is not the nicest by a long shot.

Ofelia was amongst the worst of all Khadija’s stepmothers. Her mother always muttered to her about how insufferable she was. Well, she had a lot to say about all the other consorts. 

Lavinia was more of a sharmouta than a woman of royalty. Snakelike Marica’s only redeeming quality were the three bastards she bore, and yet those three bastards brought nothing to the table. (A son who wanted to be more of a peasant than a prince, a daughter who’d only exceed in mopping floors, and another son who believed he was worth the title of King.) The palace would’ve been much more comfortable had Leona’s tongue been cut out long ago, and the same goes for Marica. Estella was only memorable for dying during childbirth, and that *golden girl* should have died with her. It’s a wonder how Cyriacus could love someone like her, even when shes dead and gone.

And Ofelia was just dreadful. The only thing she does is cry. Just speaking the name of another consort could bring her to tears. Hell, even a drop of a pin. With such thin skin, it was no one's fault but hers that she was so miserable in the castle. She was probably doing it for attention, and that made it even more sickeningly childish. And speaking of which, Aloisia thought of her stepchildren just as highly as she does their mothers. Even if they weren’t the princes she prayed for, Khadija and Djamila were worth more than all of them combined. Cyriacus should be thankful for such perfect girls; they were the best things to come to Shorus after Adelia being sent off. Nearly all of Khadija’s siblings were older than her, adults by the time she and her twin sister were born. But she knew one of them was her age. It was another sister, albeit half, and her name was Aletta. Her mother was none other than the palaces whiner, Ofelia. Khadija, Djamila, and Aletta were born within the same month. Khadija was unsure of who was older, but she did know they were days apart. 

But Khadija wasn’t keen on finding out. She didn’t care about Aletta. She didn’t like her. Why? Because Aletta was no good, nor worth her time, so her mother said. She and Djamila should best focus on their studies, not get involved with the likes of her, nor any of the consorts spawn. And Aloisia couldn’t be wrong, as if she were, she wouldn't be so certain whenever she said so. She always knew best, and her advice always made sense to Khadija. She never really spoke to Aletta, not really. The same goes for the rest of her half siblings. She met them, but never really spent time with them like she does Djamila. Especially since Khadija was newly weaned, now at the age of 2 months. She did meet them when she was a young baby, however. Viewing the newest born princess or prince was customary in Shorus, after all. Khadija remembers seeing one of her brothers, Ahsan, quite often. He was the first to introduce art, specifically paint, to her before she’d have to sit through dozens of paintings Aloisia commissioned of her. He once let her place a clumsy paw print on one of his newest paintings, but Aloisia wasn’t too happy he’d bring ‘chemicals’ so close to her daughter. From what she could remember, pale Runal was always kind, though he didn’t come around often. But his two pale siblings, Hassan and Fatima, seemed more curt than anything, especially Hassan. Aloisia doesn’t like Hassan too much. Shahnaz and Malik were nice, but she didn’t see them often.

While Khadija didn’t talk to Aletta, it didn't mean they hadn’t at all. Being the same age, it would be more likely that Khadija, Djamila, and Aletta would’ve met. Ofelia was hopeful that Aletta could have been friends with the twin sisters, and pushed the possibility. Khadija recalls brief glimpses of sharing toys with the other girl, who arguably looked quite similar to her and Djamila herself. She could recall giggling with the other girl as they played, but she was unsure at what. Aloisia wasn’t too fond of Aletta being daughters playmate, though. With how sensitive and emotional Ofelia was, it probably ended up in Aletta having some sort of compromised immune system, or worse; an ill-mind. Something like that being so close to her daughters would be disastrous. The older Khadija became, the larger the wedge between her and Aletta grew. She’d see her in the halls and say nothing.

University, Life, Girlfriend, Yearning, Booze and Everything Else

my first time back to university is next week-ish. more like second week of uni. I am really excited tho. I still need a purse that will hold my laptop. a cunty one like gossip girl. Alsoooo gotta romanticise university so give me your tricks into studying and tolerating commuting there lol.

my life is pretty great right now since my 21st birthday just passed. Ive been getting drunk or high every day and I'm getting it out of the way before university. I love being alone and relaxing. you know what would make this experience even better?! having my own place oh yeahhhh~~ that is very unrealistic at the moment I'm not going to lie. 4 classes and a job ill go to 3 times a week doesn't sound appealing. living at home isn't so bad cuz i got a car, free food free room free everything. I even got enough freedom like whatever.

my girlfriend who isnt my girlfriend is getting increasingly frustrated at me and i can tell because i haven't been giving. I was unemployed forever. I can finally treat herrrr and play games with her

Ughhhh moving out and having my own freedom especially with the love of my lifeeeee(girlfriend whos not really my girlfriend). my cat cuddling with me and peace and quiet <3 and then having my friends over + parties. all of the drinks ill make

booze. wym i can flash my id and theyll hand me liquor?! I'm obsessed with watching pretty cocktail videos. making it would be so fun too. me + my future apartment + peace.

I want to learn to be grateful for what i have. I rarely do maintnance on myself anymore and i can see bugs in my system. what am i grateful for right now? what troubled me recently that got solved?

the fact that i still had a vertical ID annoyed me because I didn't like how i looked in it. it came in a few days ago and im told that i look cute in it so thats a plus

i was unemployed for mooonths and i finally got a job right before i drowned in debt. I used to feel worthless and I was less than happy not being able to spend any money. Tim Hortons is also such an easy job. Lazy girlies, if you like Papa's Freezeria, you're gonna love how simple it is working there as long as it is in a corner that people don't really go into. I don't do drivethrough unless I wanna hand things out at the window which is easy. The only hard part for me is waking up at 5:30 am(but i get the rest of the day to myselfff). It really worked out for me

I got some really nice gifts that i will for sure use. especially the planner and airbrush that my bestie got for me.

my mom makes really good food at home and she makes an effort to keep the house clean at all times. I mopped and broomed for her today and i felt accomplished

i really did have fomo during my semester break but i have to remember that i wouldn't have been able to enjoy my 21st if i was at school. I am also grateful that i can go back because i got my federal grant back. I am so locked in for next semester.

finally finding new music to listen to because i was losing my mind over the lack of variety i have been listening to.

finding good manhwas to indulge in before the semester begins so i don't get attached while trying to study.

the annoying pile of clothes and accessories that was constantly moving back and forth from my bed to my chair is finally put away in their proper spots. I even mopped my room twice this week

there's probably more but I cant think of them right now. I guess I should reflect on my behavior because my bitterness and jealously lingered for too long without me addressing it. i fear they have already been internalized. so today hasn’t been the most productive of days, i stayed in the living room rewatching black mirror then playing games for 3 hours. Now i’m in my bed due to period cramps :( but i can’t stay like this, if i want to better myself before college i need to break out of this lazy habit of mine. To achieve my goals i should write them down first right? so here is my goals by the end of the year.

- learn how to do my own hair (i have 4c hair so it has been pretty hard to manage)

- learn how to do makeup

- learn how to code (i possibly want to go into computer science

- become better at math (i want to try and do some khan academy almost everyday)

-learn japanese (this is a definite maybe since i am already doing a lot)

- build better confidence and study habits

-get ready for college

now these task i think i can achieve within 4 months, maybe not perfectly but still well. But i also plan on getting a job so i don’t know how well i will be able to do all of this with that. anyways im still in bed and my father is going to chick-fil-a. Also im debating wether i should get the shogo makishima nendaroid pre-ordered even though i don’t want to take money out of my savings but i have just enough in my checking…

Im doing good today! i was SUPPOSED to start working on my research presentation (I'm in a research lab ^0^ we study cancer and diabetes) that's legit due in three days but i got lazy and i started it and have nO CLUE what to even do for it so imma just wait until i go in tomorrow and talk to my lab professor over whot i even should be doing bc i am c l u e l e s s

but im also glad you weren't weirded out by the bl recs i know some people can get like iffy on that stuff and i do get why there is some bad/weird stuff but that exists in literally every media source people just like to hate but YES love for sale is literally like....GOSH SIEON IS THE BEST TOP EVER
