So the type of reels he'd send would usually be more deep. They're the type with a huge block of text, expressing how he also feels about you.

Let's see... I don't have a brain that thinks a lot outside of her own ocs because I have a brain the size of a walnut so...

James: in a greeting he was speaking perfect Spanish and he's Brazilian and they speak Portuguese so I would like to think at least one of his parents is Mexican or he has lived there bc he also claims he loves Mexico so yes this is true and real

He also makes the cliche tiktok youtuber videos and makes Aiden do challenges and mukbangs w him and he can handle his spice but Aiden can NOT... I also like to think he takes longer to get ready in the morning just because he admires himself in the mirror for a bit. But it's no biggie bc Aiden spends 5 mins a day admiring James in return

Riya: honestly I Hate how people use the DC pride pic to say everyone else missing is straight like what if they were in traffic and missed ?? Like personally I just like to think Riya has never explored her sexuality at all and is not really aware of her interest in women (maybe someone here likes Riya x Grett just a little) so she doesn't say or claim anything really

But I do think she'd also do fashion campaigns. Like beautiful woman on a magazine cover. Ik she'd look so good w editorial makeup and fashion on..

Aiden: he is eastern european coded to me... not sure what country but he and Tom (season 1) are in that group to me.. also he calls James things like "snookums" "snuggle bun" and most importantly his "beautiful god of beauty" period 😌

Hunter: he does drag or something like that, his name would be something like June Thanasia (euthanasia) or The Bride.. or I was also recommended the name Bloody Mary like some kind of Lady Gaga or horror themed one

You will see an upcoming post of how I imagine one of his drag looks to be and I had a previous post of him in a wedding gown for this very reason, I think he likes the corsets and lots of jewelry and beads !

Ally: she likes to cosplay video game couples or ships and just not tell Tess that it's gay as hell like. She will dress up as Link and make Tess be Ganon to fulfill Ganlink or Ally as Zelda and Tess as Midna to fulfill Midzel... I also think she has posters of female video game characters who gave her the Bi Awakening...

Lake: absolutely is secretly fashion obsessed and has very cutesy themed outfits hidden around with matching flowers to put in her hair... I really think she'd look like a human flower in fashion aesthetics

As for Season 1.

Miriam: doesn't know what an air fryer is and she doesn't want to know either get it OUT of her face and I also really want to believe if Jake doesn't live with her she will have him do so after all stars so they can spend her final years together making memories and doing mundane things like shopping cooking and wandering around at 3 am for no reason

Fiore: I refuse to believe she doesn't treat a random ass stuffed animal better than real people, I guarantee she has at least ONE and it's def a unicorn like bye or cat like on her pjs byeeeee

Ellie: She had an emo phase and I know she had one bang over her eye and wore ties over everything and had a studded belt and such.. I know her power

Jake: that man is Chinese to me we've seen how I draw him this is hc I will DIE ON. I don't care whether he's Wasian or not, what matters is he really wants to wear more hanfu but is shy about it... but I like to think he loves womens Tang or Qing dynasty hanfu the most...

Also bc onc is SO disrespectful to him (I'm dramatic) I know they'd never admit he can play an instrument he SO gives me the type to have had a band in high school like tell me he isn't giving that energy

Tom: he smells bad, but to tame this he probably smells like your average cheap men's 3 n 1 body wash like think dove or suave or something like that like you can't convince me he isn't sweating balls out here, also he's secretly into fashion and desires to wear all the mini skirts his heart desires

Grett: passion for fashion like LOOK at her outfits ? Wearing heels and running around ? I know she desires so badly to dress more freely and even more showy, but because of how poorly she's been treated she is a bit insecure about her body and how it looks in certain clothes.. but I know she will learn to love herself the way we love her and wear the most stunning outfits and jewelry her heart desires

Ashley: I am going to be crazy w this one but as someone who's family hails from the North of Mexico, I have to think she's somehow Mexican BUT PROBABLY A NO SABO KID.. like I doubt she knows one word of Spanish other than swears but this is MY truth

Sometimes they coexist because Azul, while being extremely jealous, knows better than to challenge Lilia. Sometimes they don’t coexist lol

Now that’s a sitcom I would absolutely watch lol But I’m afraid everyone would just be freaked out by Rook. No one knows why he’s always here, but he just is, and even if he isn’t, you know he’s lurking around. Vil is used to it, Ortho doesn’t mind it, Idia is terrified but that’s nothing new, but the Tweels and Azul would probably be very uncomfortable lol

im kind of unbelievably horrible at knowing music genres, let alone trying to assign specific genres to characters but i’ll try my best 😭 guys plz dont cook me if its bad im not that big of a musichead plz plz

Anyways. firstly, since minato and kotone both canonically listen to the p3 ost, i can assign them hip hop/rap/pop off rip. if it’s in their playlist, i think we can gather that they enjoy it.

minato - alt rock, pop punk, gothwave, video game osts. i say video game osts bc i yhink minato would like sitting around in a video game afk just to listen to the background music. i dont think minato is a goth but i feel as if gothwave has a sound he’d find enjoyable

kotone - alt rock, hip hop/rap, pop rock. she loves to lip sync to it and u can hear the song she’s lip syncing to bc i also know kotone probably turns her volume to max so loud you’d think she’ll damage her ears someday if not soon

yukari - dance pop, new wave, pop. she’s one of those people who hates country and sucks at listening to music outside her preferred genre. secretly likes a few alt songs but she’d never put them on her main playlist

junpei - hip hop, r&b. probably also a pop enjoyer, but honestly he’d like anything if it were catchy. he loves to dance and it sucks bc he’s really good at it so nobody can make fun of him

fuuka - alt/indie, pop. she’d also enjoy video game music, like minecraft ost and she cries to it. i think she mostly likes slower music. music that makes her feel like her soul is leaving her body and ascending to a different plane of existence

mitsuru - classical. rich girl… but i also think the girls would influence her taste to expand more and she’d find herself enjoying the worst songs you’ve ever heard in your life. it’s ok tho since it’s her first time branching out. she’ll grow…

akihiko - whatever’s on the radio, mostly enjoys upbeat faster paced music that can easily hype someone up. he’s kinda that one pic that’s like “Gym Beast Playlist” and the first song is hi high by loona

shinjiro - death metal, old school hip hop. death metal came to me bc i was thinking about casual outfits for shinjiro and i really wanted to put him in a death metal shirt bc of the font lmfaoo. but i prefer more old school hip hop for him and occasionally other things like old school rock music. he hates that new shit

ken - pop, alt/indie. ken is a kid so his taste is just beginning to form. he only knows pop radio. i also think ken’s music taste is music where you’d hear it and be like “god how does anyone like this” but he’s a child so he’s allowed to get away with it. and i say indie bc i also think ken is the type of person to be sad so he listens to more sad music as if it won’t make his mood worse. he goes on youtube and types “sad music playlist” when he’s in a bad mood

aigis - feel like she focuses more on the lyrics than the sound 😭 it’s her first day on earth she hasn’t yet learned that u can listen to music for the vibe instead of the lyricism. even then, i think aigis would probably enjoy almost any kind of music bc she thinks the creativity is beautiful

koromaru - adding him bc i think he’d have shinjiro’s taste from how much he loves him. he hears death metal and it puts him right to sleep…

ryoji - similar to aigis, but he’d probably heavily prefer whatever music the protagonist also enjoys. he has his own thing for classical music as well. he plays the piano and stuff …

and as for reader, i picture...............no one. she doesn't have a face, which is really weird. i think being the person who writes hmh it's hard for me to picture her. i picture myself sometimes because it makes it easier to describe certain scenarios (i just picture myself doing them and write it lmao) but even then i still don't look like myself (my imagination is very nice to me and it makes me very hot when i do picture myself lmao)

reader has this ability to go from cute girl next door to being super sexy and hot and i can't think of an actress (in my opinion) who really encapsulates that. all i know for reader is that she's about 5'0 tall (only comes up to john's shoulder) and she has brown hair. and clearly because of the 'peach' nickname, she has a very nice ass. probably nice boobs too because i mean who doesn't want nice boobs lmao

I find it so funny how baby Rika's hairstyle on the new CG is so similar to how adult Chaewon's hairstyle looks. Coincidence? I think not. Anyway, I don't think Chaewon was ever a big fan of trick-or-treating, since dressing up is not something she particularly enjoys, but she always relented for her brother's sake. If you add baby Rika to that, she won't even complain much! Unless they make her dress too cutesy that is...

More childhood friends au lore dump under the cut 👇

It's interesting to me to think about the possibility of these two meeting as kids. Chaewon comes from a wealthy family, and while this comes with its own difficulties in her relations with them, her parents are good people. She grows more reserved and closed off with age, but as a child? She is a rather spunky and outgoing kid. I feel like she would have a 'mean girl' reputation around her school, even though that label doesn't really fit her. She's not a bully, but she has no filter, and she sure loves getting into fights, much to her father's dismay.

So, what if she ended up going to the very same school Rika was struggling in as a child? Such a thought makes my brain buzz. I don't think she would pay much attention to Rika at first, no. (Or rather Serena, to be more true to canon, but, for simplicity sake, I'll continue using 'Rika' here) She's a loner, and never really made any close friends in school, nor did she ever feel the need to. But, I do think she could overhear some nasty words and rumors that are being spread around about Rika between the other kids. Maybe she'll stumble onto a bullying scene one day. Maybe she'll walk in on Rika crying alone in an empty classroom after forgetting her bag for the countless time. Whatever the case is, she wouldn't stand for it. She's not one for mincing soft words, but she can spook off the bullies just fine, and she will offer a snack if she sees a kid crying without showing any rough edges. Her little brother has a much softer demeanor, so she is no stranger to being in a role of protector like that.

I think it'll be a gradual process when it comes to their relationship. Chaewon is very close with her parents, and she always tells her mother all about her day in school. So, her mother will probably be the one to nudge her into making friends with Rika. Maybe she doesn't have any friends and that's why she's sad? Chaewon doesn't have any friends in her class either, so why doesn't she try to be friends with her? Just a suggestion, her mother says.

I do think Rika will be timid and a bit distant, especially since Chaewon is a very blunt kid. If she thinks you look stupid, she will say just that. But, I believe she'll eventually learn that Chaewon means no ill. She never teases her and she never says that Rika's a bad child. She says that she's strange, but she doesn't make fun of her for that. In fact, she continues to find ways to talk to her daily. Rika will be confused by all this. Does Chaewon like her or not?

It'll be a period of this cautious friendship between them, before Chaewon inadvertently learns of Rika's poor family situation. Be it by Rika slipping up during conversation, or her literally being witness to her mother's abusive behavior first hand. Chaewon is just a kid - a sheltered one at that - so she'll be moreso confused and taken aback by it all than anything else.

That's when her parents come in. Rika's family is well off and makes sure to uphold their good reputation, but so does Chaewon's. It won't take long for her mother to suspect of Rika being seriously abused, judging by what her daughter tells her of the situation, and she won't stand for that. There are a lot of ways to go about it, but, what is concrete, is that Rika will be removed from her abusive environment eventually.

She will probably never meet V, nor Yoosung, nor establish the RFA, nor encounter the Choi twins, so... how much of a good ending that is for the overall story of mystic messenger remains in question. But, it's nice to think of Rika growing into adulthood with trusted and responsible adults around her that she can go to for help, and loyal friends to experience life with. It'll change both her and Chaewon inadvertently. I don't think Chaewon will be as brash or closed off as she is in a normal timeline. Rika helps her be more open to the world and mindful of how her words and actions can affect others, as well as motivating her to pursue her aspirations in life. She will probably pursue a career in professional sport thanks to that, too. In canon timeline, she gives up on that dream after losing an eye in a training accident and having a huge falling out with her father, who doesn't want his daughter to risk her safety by pursuing this path... But, I believe Rika could help soothe the tension between them in this au. She has a way with words and can help them both reconcile, as neither Chaewon nor her father have any bad intention towards one another in this conflict. They simply need to come to an understanding with each another, and Rika can be of help to that.

It also gives them a chance to form a healthy and stable relationship (certainly an oddity with these two). I do think it'll take them both a looong time to realize their feelings, come to terms with them, and then finally express them. It's always confusing when the line between platonic and romantic starts to get blurred, especially so when you're only figuring out your sexuality. Makes me giggle to think of them both full on pining for each other while thinking that this is a totally normal 'girl best friend' behavior. Oh, but when they do get together? They are the softest girlfriends ever. First date will be at the aquarium, of course. Can't go wrong with that. Rika would get Chaewon a huge isopod plushie. They name him Snugglebug (it was Rika's idea).

idk why he says nothings wrong when i ask him, when clearly something is wrong. ik how he is & when somethings up but he still denied it. i understand if he doesnt wanna get into it rn or he just wants to let it go but like in this case, i pretty much know exactly what its about that could be bothering him & the only way to put him at ease is to talk about it….again! this one specific thing triggered his mood last night & i didnt even think it would. i noticed a red scratch mark on my chest and sent him a pic saying how i think his cat made the scratch. his reply was soo serious, like i could actually feel him doubting me thru the phone. i knew he was questioning if it was really the cat bc he said how he was close to my chest the other day and didnt see anything so that is odd that theres a scratch. !! i immediately knew where his mind went & that thought didnt even occur to me when i sent that pic..like if i knew that would cause him to think of this crazy scenario then i wouldnt have sent that snap in the first place tbh bc right after that, his tone & the way he texted just shifted. hes not the best at masking his feelings like me so i can tell when the energy feels different. i also posted some pics from the hangout on my ig story & he saw it later that night. i have a feeling that added to his misery and all of today it was so prevalent, even if he denies it. idc if he says nothings wrong bc its not convincing and its not just in my head. he went from msging me all cutesy & happy to immediately being more neutral & uninterested. we always send a snap to say good morning (unless we get busy but we still send a snap with whatever we’re doing). he didnt open the app, as well as reply to my snap, until 7:15pm.. around 4 was when i asked him whats wrong (bc i already knew he was ignoring me). his response was that nothing really is wrong and how he went straight to work and his boss switched his assignment. usually id let that go but not when its already past 7 and hes firsttt opening snapchat to answer me ? and i see that hes been on instagram. also.. hes always talking to me when hes either at work already, still at home, or driving to work. the only time he goes mia like that is when something is definitely upsetting him. also!.. when that happens, he will text me after a couple hrs to let me know how hes feeling & why he was silent. he didnt always do that but i told him to bc its not fair to me by feeling like ive done something or just the feeling of purposely being ignored by my own boyfriend. but yeah.. he didnt do any of that this time BC its this whole situation again. i really dont know what more i could do to reassure him about it. i feel like ive done and am doing all that i can rn. its mostly up to him now to let himself figure it out and honestly, just trust me. like just saying.. im not gonna be making that mistake that you (both) did and be stupid with it.. and neither will snow. theyre not a “friend” its actually becoming really genuine and sweet and i wont let it get ruined bc of him doubting me. i also wont let the friendship ruin me and him. i really cant help but compare it to what he did with his friend, especially since i just found out like a month ago. i also have this suspicion that it happened earlier that yr (when we were still together) than what he told me, but i dont even wanna think about that for any longer. i was told by her Husband! that it happened when they were still in school together. that means a year before. idk if i believe that. she mightve lied, but my suspicion’s still there. like i asked him if he remembered what month and he couldnt. all he knew was that it was during our break..-.- the what.…like 1 1/2 month long break. you dont remember which month..? i sound so salty rn omg i dont mean to. im just trying to understand. ill see how he is with me tm bc we barely talked today. kind of glad i worked most of the day so i was able to keep busy and not hyper focus on him ignoring me.

I really don't get it. JK dms girls, likes tiktoks of them, has a blurry video circulating that's very likely of him with another woman at his apartment, and was the first member to have a dating scandal.

Then you have Tae who was the second member to have a dating scandal exposed at first by a very icky hacking of his girlfriend's phone, and then a pap walk that we're supposed to believe wasn't deliberate as the two of them strolled publicly in the streets of Paris with their managers.

And taekookers are concerned about Jimin? And trying to link him with some woman who happens to live in the same apartment building as him? Like Jimin is the least - the absolute least - of your concerns.

I just do not understand. Tae takes somewhat iffy pics with guys during the fashion show after-party he went to? Tae posts cute, intimate photos with his friend group? Taekookers have no problem. Jungkook hangs out with Mingyu and does cutesy poses with him on wlive? Likes fan edits of Mingyu on tiktok and only does dances with him and Eunwoo and hardly mentions Tae? Amazing, no notes from taekookers. Jimin exists in proximity to Tae or JK? Taekookers foaming at the mouth, crying and throwing up.

I mean their ship publicly admitted that they weren't even proper friends for years but it's just Jimin, Jimin, Jimin in taekookers brains all the time for some reason.

It really is crazy 😭 like, I get it. Proof of Jimin dating a woman would ofc mean that he's not dating Jungkook. That's what taekookers want to confirm.

But we're so obviously way past that when there's already been proof of Taehyung dating Jennie.

And then there's the Jungkook video, too.

You don't even need proof of Jimin dating someone else at this point if you want to "debunk" taekook or jikook.

They keep trying though because in the end it's not about jikook; debunking jikook is just collateral damage, but the end goal is to prove that Jimin is into women. It's not only about proving that jikook is not real, but also proving what they believe of Jimin: that he's straight, a womanizer, a queerbaiter, a liar, and the list goes on and on.

I mean it when I say that they just don't like Jimin and use the excuse of the ship to hate on him because they don't have real reasons. Jimin is kind, supportive, loyal, and overall an excellent friend to Jungkook and Taehyung. He's an even better friend to them than they've ever been to him.

You'd think that if they really loved taekook, they'd be happy for them that they have Jimin in their lives. So they're constantly looking for the angle that allows them to hate on him simply because they don't like him, for whatever reason they've invented in their minds.

I also believe a lot of it has to do with stuff I mentioned in that post above. They don't really know anything about Taehyung and Jennie, or Jungkook and TheWoman, so what exactly can they hate about it? There's only so far imagination can go, and in the case of those interactions, there's nothing to hate or love about them.

However, they know jikook and they know taekook, and they can find a lot to hate and love about them; as well as a lot to imagine and fantasize about them.

If they could, somehow, know a lot about taennie, they'd find even more reasons to hate Jennie just like they hate on Jimin.

Week ending: 23rd June

In true 1950s fashion, I looked this up and immediately found another version by Alma Cogan, which maybe speaks more to the amount of covers at this point than anything else. I was about to hit play when I checked the artist and nope, not Alma this time. Oops.

Where Will the Dimple Be? - Rosemary Clooney & The Mellomen (peaked at Number 6)

I don't really know why the backing singers are sometimes credited and sometimes aren't. I wasn't always adding them earlier on in this project, but I've decided I probably will, if the official charts credit them. Still, I'm not sure why the Mellomen are credited here - and apparently we've also got Thurl Ravenscroft excellent bass in the mix, though he isn't credited. Weird.

The version I found initially was live and didn't feature either the Mellomen or Thurl, which was even more confusing. Forutnately, I then found the right one, and it's a big improvement on the slightly lacklustre live version. Thurl, in particular, improves the song, like he improves everything. Seriously, he's got the most distinctive voice, and I love it.

Anyway, with a title like that, you know you're in for a ride, and right enough, this is... quite something. It's a song about babies, and it's a particularly 1950s housewife version of that song. I don't know, it just seems quite old-fashioned. I can't imagine a song now that's so much just about being excited about having a baby? I mean, the main question the song asks is about where the baby's dimple will be: On the baby's knuckle or the baby's knee / Where will the baby's dimple be?

This actually raises more questions than it answers, too, because it makes it sound like every single baby has one single dimple that can be literally anywhere, which I don't think is how babies actually work. Plus Rosemary and Thurl both sing lines about how Seems to me it'll be a sin / If it's always covered by the safety-pin. And... I have nothing against babies with dimples, but they just aren't that defining a feature to me. I wouldn't see a baby without a visible dimple and be like "hmmm, that baby is missing a dimple, what a shame."

It's also disgustingly domestic and cutesy. If you've followed this blog, you know I'm allergic to "cute" songs. I'm finding myself squinting at lines like the one describing how Every night we stay at home, my love and me alone / Making wishes over dishes in the sink and trying desperately to read some kind of innuendo into it. I feel like this couple would be a nightmare to know in real life.

Or maybe the point is that these are meant to be snapshots of private moments. It kind of works, though my favourite one is the verse about pregnancy cravings, and how Now I wake up every night with such an appetite / Eat a chocolate pie, topped off with sauerkraut / Then I put some records on, munch on crackers until dawn / And just sit around all night and try to guess. I think more than the weirder foods, its the late night music and crackers that feels real here. It's more realism than most songs about having a baby probably include.

It's the only part of the song that I really like. I can't object to this one, because it's at least memorable, and it's not outright terrible, but I just don't find it super relatable or particularly cute. It's a bit saccharine for me, and I also don't feel like I'm massively invested in babies' cuteness. They're cute, but I'm not the one you'll find cooing over baby pics, you know? Ask me again when friends of mine have had babies, and maybe I'll have come round on this, but for now, I'm giving it a miss.

The Mellomen don't do much here. No clue why they get credit. Thurl Ravenscroft is cool, at least, and Rosemary is unobjectionable (I can see Alma Cogan killing this, though!)

That all sounds fairly negative, but I am glad that there's space for songs like this to exist. I feel like most "having a baby" songs now are more sexy, and I like that this is about having a baby in an entirely non-sexy way. More non-sexy pregnancy songs, please.

Kukki pondered on his answer for a moment, nodding as if she was agreeing with something. "Yeah, that's not bad." But then his comment about k-pop made her snort and roll her eyes. "Just because I am /cutesy/ looking, it doesn't mean that the only stuff I listen to is K-pop. Sure, sometimes some songs can be enjoyable, but I can stomach much more than just love songs and hype songs by cute boy bands. In fact, I actually listen to metal too. Ever heard of Baby Metal before? Dunno bout you, but hearing my fellow women screaming into the mike can be rather cathartic." The young woman crosses her arms and grins at him. "And for recommendations, if you enjoy rock too and darker themes, I'd also recommend Halestorm and Nightwish, unless you already frequent their music too and I am not bringing up anything new." Kukki chuckled and then reached out to touch his hair.

"I like your hair too... It looks very soft and pretty actually. Shows that you must be taking good care of it." Kukki could appreciate beautiful things and quite frankly, she found Fuji to be rather aesthetically pleasing. Sure, he was intimidating and maybe even scary looking for someone unused to seeing so many tattoos on one person, but Kukki actually found him fascinating and liked looking at him. "Why are you so upset though? I haven't really lied to you, have I?" She chuckled at his reaction. "After all, I just brought up the syndrome, not said that I had it." She shrugs her shoulders and shot him a slight grin. Kukki could tell that she hadn't left him indifferent with her little story about why she had chosen this particular color for her hair. She was also somewhat grateful that even if he understood that there was much more behind it, deeper and a probably darker thing from her past, Fuji didn't pry. "Doing something on a whim isn't really my style to be honest. If I do something, I like to do it for a reason, not just because I woke up one day and felt like it. And since hair color is something somewhat permanent that I won't be able to cover or hide, I had to make sure that I was happy with this decision. Although it's only been around 5-6 years since I've first dyed it. Back then I also had it much shorter, almost in a boyish style." She kept talking, feeling actually comfortable with sharing about herself with the vampire.

Fuji's words were actually true and this made her chuckle. It was rare she met a man so self aware and actually opposed to his fellow men's toxic behavior. "If you only knew... The dick pics aren't even the worst thing. I had one motherfucker once try stalking me because I turned him down and didn't want to send back nudes, since mind you, his pics were very much unsolicited to begin with. For a while it almost got me to the point where I was so fed up that I was pondering whether or not I should just switch to being a lesbian because women aren't as gross when it comes to turning down their advances. But then, luckily, there's men like you who are actual nice persons and so I don't really need to forsake the entire male population."

Seeing his pleased expression at her compliments made her smile, since Kukki was somewhat happy that she could make him feel somewhat good. Sure, she was salty and cynical for the most part, but she could also be nice, especially when she wanted to keep someone around. "You are welcome. But just don't let it get to your head!" She grinned at him. "I like to think that I am actually more like a cookie... Sweet to the taste, but then again, you'd have to taste me to find out."

"Oh, so you are a vampire?" Kukki's brow raised, but she didn't seem shocked or appalled, like most people would have probably done when learning that the person they had been talking to for the most part of the evening was a night predator, prying on the innocent's blood for sustenance. "Late night conversations will do, yeah. But I'll have to find a way to balance them with my schedule so that I don't drop dead during my morning classes." She was still a university student after all, so she couldn't just neglect her studies, even if she wanted to learn more about her new friend. "I work part time at a cafe downtown. So maybe, if you ever feel like it, you can come during my closing shift. I wouldn't say no to some company while I gather and clean up everything to close up shop." Kukki proposed, thinking that it would also serve her useful to have him around for protection and why not, maybe even as a helping hand with setting the up the chairs and foldable tables. "Thanks, I do have a sharp mind and I really appreciate it when people acknowledge that." It showed that she enjoyed receiving compliments too. "I'm not opposed to baggy clothes either, so if it's a men's size, I could simply use it to sleep in, as a makeshift dress to wear around the house and whatnot."

"Ooooh..." Kukki cooed, her eyes narrowing in a sheepish way. "So I take it that I should spoil you, then? I am usually rather strict, but I guess I could be somewhat sweeter if I want to, yeah... Maybe next time we see each other I could treat you to some of my baking. People usually praise it as being really good."

The party life was never Kukki's cup of tea so to speak, she was more of a house body, who enjoys spending time by herself in the company of her cat and a good book instead of partying and drinking away god knows where, in a loud and noisy club. And neither was she a fan of socializing, being an introvert by nature who got easily drained by social interactions, yet here she was, in a night club on a late Saturday evening, having been dragged along by a friend to act as their chaperon. Since Kukki never drank and she was a very serious person, her friends often used her to keep an eye out for them in case there where creeps lurking around or they got too drunk.

"Huh?" The silver haired raised her eyes to meet those of the person, whom the voice from earlier belonged to. 'The best night are the ones you never plan'... The words echoed in her mind, making her snort. "Maybe, but so far this is far from what I would normally call 'a great night'. This place is soo packed and loud I feel I could end up losing myself in this sea of people if I get up from here." Kukki replied and took a sip from her nonalcoholic orange juice. She never drank alcohol, given that her tolerance was very low and she could easily get drunk.

Eyeing the man sat next to her, a tall, intimidating looking guy with long hair and tattoos, Kukki took some quick mental notes on him, making an analysis of what she thought his personality might've been like. So far, he didn't struck her as dangerous or sleazy, so she could tolerate him. "What about you? Having a good night so far?"

Summary: PRANK WARS!! After coming to the conclusion that his own girlfriend pulls better pranks than him and has been one up-ing a lot recently, Katsuki decided to break their unspoken rule and pull a cheating prank

BAKUGOU’S MASTERLIST

“I don’t know who the fuck is listening right now, but I, Katsuki fucking Bakugou, am begging whatever heavenly body, god, spiritual being, whatever the fuck it could be, to ensure that my girlfriend does not leave my dumbass for pulling this prank. Thank you, bless.”

Bakugou kept his eyes shut with his palms pressed together in a praying motion for the longest time while he spoke to something to protect his relationship. When he was done, he took a breather and got up from the shared bed. He took out the camera and set it up behind Y/N’s makeup stuff to hide it and began to put his prank into action.

A few hours ago he had Kirishima pretend to be a girl and had his best friend flirt with him through text. This went on for some time to make sure that if you were to scroll through his conversation, you’d find a lot of messages. At the end of the texts, Bakugou had Kirishima find a random pic online of some random girl’s ass and had the red head sent it. Bakugou answered it with a very flirtatious text, which had Kirishima send a very cutesy, appreciated reply in a very girly matter, which ended the conversation. Bakugou changed his friend’s name to some random name, Kiyoko, and finished the job. Yes, the two friends were very uncomfortable doing this whole thing.

With the camera now recording, all Bakugou needed to begin his prank was his prized possession. You.

Bakugou and you were cuddling on the king sized bed. You both were just talking about whatever while Katsuki remained on his phone. You didn’t see it yet, but Katsuki was “texting” his friend. In reality, he was just waiting for you to look up at his screen to notice the scandalous texts he and this “Kiyoko” were having.

“Baby?” You asked while looking at your pretty acrylics.

“Yes baby?” Bakugou said while still looking at his phone. He had his arm wrapped around you while you layed on him with your cheek on his chest.

“Ion know...I love you baby,” you said in the cutest voice. Bakugou could only make a face of extreme awe to appreciate his precious girlfriend.

“I love you too Teddy Bear,” he said. You lifted your head to smile at him but you took notice of how he was still staring at his phone.

You pouted before smirking and climbing up to come face to face with him. You got in between him and his phone and grabbed his face with both hands. He smiled at you before you leaned down to peck his lips multiple times. Once you were done you tucked your head under his chin and looked to the side, just enjoying the moment. He kissed the crown of your head before going back to “texting.”

At the sound of him pressing random things on the keyboard, your pout returned. “Baby~ Pay attention to me!!” You whined.

You removed your head out from under his chin and layed your head next to his. You looked at his phone and saw a ‘thank you’ with a kissy face emoji from a “Kiyoko” before Katsuki switched the screen to some random game. “Who’s Kiyoko?”

“Hm?” Katsuki asked, pretending to be oblivious.

“Who’s Kiyoko? You were just on a text chat with her, why is she sending you a kissy face?” You asked with a little more attitude. You tried to take the phone out of his hand but he pulled it away.

“She’s just a friend, babe.” Bakugou said.

“Okay, well if she’s just a friend then why can’t I see?” You questioned.

“Because there’s nothing to see.”

“She sent you a kissy face. That’s something I’d like to see.” You said while easily taking his phone out of his hand.

“Babe, no.” He said and took the phone back. “Shes just a friend.” You took the phone back and he tried to grab it again before you held the phone away at a distance to make sure he couldn’t grab it. “Babe. Noo, stooppp.”

“If she’s just a friend then why’re you trying to hide it?” You asked with the phone still far away and him attempting to reach for it.

“Cuz we’re about to go out and-“

“What the fuck?!” You said as you looked to the texts. You froze in your position as you brought the phone closed and scrolled through the texts, stumbling upon the picture. Bakugou tried to take the phone away from you but failed (on purpose.)

“She just wanted an opinion,” he tried explaining.

“An opinion?!” You asked while sitting up and pushing him off of you. “She sent you a booty pic with you complimenting her and shit. And you’re over here calling her babe!”

“It’s not like that-“

“Then what the fuck is it like Katsuki?!” You asked. You went back to the text and reread some of the messages out loud. “‘Bet you enjoyed it when I wrecked you last night, Relax Princess Y/N’s never gonna find out, I love you Kiyoko-‘ Are you fucking serious?!” You said with a cracked voice as you looked at him.

He put on a small smile for the act but on the inside it hurt him to see you like this, but the prank would prevail. “Baby, calm down.”

“I’m not gonna calm down Katsuki, you’re cheating on me!” You continued to go on and on about how pissed you were and Katsuki was struggling to hold back his laughs. He eventually got up to run to the downstairs bathroom so he could let out his chuckles. “Where the fuck are you going?! We’re not done with this conversation!”

Bakugou said nothing as he ran to the bathroom and slammed the door shut. He bursted out in laughter as he crouched over due to all the excitement. He looked in the mirror and ruffled his hair a bit as he remembered the way you looked. The sad you would’ve made his heart ached but the angry you just made him laugh and kind of turned him on in a way.

After getting all his giggles out, he calmed down and got back into character. He opened the door to the bathroom only to see you walking down the stairs with your jacket and shoes on, carrying a small bag. “Baby?”

At the sound of his voice you only looked his way with a mean glare as you continued your walk to the front door. Bakugou ran to you as fast as he could as worry spilled through his body. “Baby, stop. Where are you going?”

“Get the fuck away from me. I’m done, we’re done. I’m going.” You said with a cold voice. Bakugou ran in front of you and held onto your arms as he pushed you back further into the house but you fought against his hold.

“Y/N, stop. It was just a prank.” Bakugou whined.

“Like I fucking believe that.” You said while trying to pry his hands off of you. Bakugou whimpered as he grew worried and felt himself getting choked up. He could feel the tears approaching but held them back. He could still save himself.

“Baby please. Come back upstairs, I’ll show you the camera!” He begged but you finally got his hands off of you as you ran to the door. You ran out the door and Bakugou grew frantic as he ran to the room to get the camera. When he came back down and ran out to the front to show you, you had already backed out of the driveway and were driving down the street. “Y/N!”

Bakugou ran back upstairs and into the bedroom to find his phone on the bed. “Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!”

He was quick to find your number and call you but you declined it. He called again a few more times and like before, you declined them. He called you so much that eventually, you stopped declining them and just began to straight up ignore them. This led to Bakugou leaving voicemails.

“Baby? Please pick up it was just a prank.”

“Y/N, I’m so sorry, I swear it was a prank! Please come back home!”

“Please come back Y/N! It was just a joke, none of it was real! Please answer me.”

“Baby, please come back. I love you.”

When he realized you weren’t going to answer, he opened up the messages with Kirishima and changed his name back before calling him.

“Hello?”

“Kirishima!” Bakugou said and his friend could practically hear the tears. “Prank went wrong! Went so wrong! Y/N fucking left! She didn’t even give me a chance to explain!”

Bakugou began hyperventilating as he tugged at his hair and looked around. He didn’t even focus on what Kirishima was saying as he looked around the once shared bedroom. He went through the closet and saw some of your clothes and shoes missing. Some of your makeup was off the vanity and when Bakugou looked to the nightstand to see the smashed picture frame that held the image of you both on your third year anniversary, he began sobbing.

“Please! Just fucking call her to explain! That’s all!”

“Alright, I’ll do it. Don’t worry, okay?” His friend replied to which Bakugou only hung up. He had every right to worry. His dumbass was about to lose you. Bakugou sat back down on the bed as he cried into his hands some more. He looked at himself in the large mirror hanging on the wall before scrunching his face and screaming.

“FUCK!” He shouted and threw something at the wall. He didn’t know what he grabbed, he just knew it broke. Bakugou flopped onto the large bed and cried some more as he waited for something, anything, to happen. But that night, nothing did.

3 days had passed and for 3 days Bakugou had constantly been calling you, your friends, your family, anybody he could do that he could reach you. He had constantly been crying and regretting pulling that stupid, stupid prank. It wasn’t worth losing you.

For the past few days, Kirishima had been checking up on Katsuki. He had been coming over a few times a day by using the hidden house key you both left under a rock on at the house entrance. On the third day, Bakugou told him to stop coming by and that he wanted to be by himself.

Bakugou had been hallowing in sadness on the bed until he heard the door open. He sighed again and walked to this bedroom door. On his way there he took notice of his appearance in the mirror and even though he was in the dark, he still saw his red, puffy eyes and tired face. He finally opened the door and walked to the living room so he could ward off his pesky friend.

“Shitty Hair, I told you that I didn’t wa-“ his eyes popped open at the sight he saw in the living room. He froze on the spot but felt immediate relief. “Y/N!”

“...Hi Katsuki,” you said in a soft voice. Bakugou smiled and instantly ran to you to pull you in for a tight hug. He squeezed you tight and grew joyous when he felt you softly hug him back.

“I missed you so much! I’m so fucking sorry, it was just a prank I swe-“

“Katsuki! I know, okay? Kirishima told Mina and she told me everything.” You explained and pushed him off slightly so you could face him. He nodded in understanding and you took note of his red eyes and nose. You sighed before speaking. “This is why we don’t pull pranks like this Katsuki!”

He sadly chuckled at you reprimanding him but nodded his head in agreement. “Yeah...I’m so sorry, Baby.”

“You should be! I almost actually left you!” You said with a little pout. Bakugou sadly laughed with relieved tears in his eyes as he held you.

“I know. I swear I won’t do anything like this again.” He promised.

“You better not.” You said, squished against his chest. You leaned up and kissed his cheek before you dragged him to the couch. You and Bakugou spent the rest of the day making up and cuddling. Everything felt so right again and Bakugou definitely learned his lesson.

Has some passing idea of what shipping is from Levi and, from what he knows of it, shippers eat cutesy couples stuff right up!! If all he's got to do to make bank is to look all couple-y around the MC then sounds like a win-win to him!

He'll happily pose for a photo or two (paid in advance) of him throwing his arm around the MC or something. Want him to hold their hand? Sure thing!

But since this is still Mammon we're talking about, the second MC actually starts getting into any of it he'll still turn into a blushy, stuttery mess...

For WEEKS the headline picture on so many of their fans' blogs was an image of him turning beet red while the MC kissed him on the cheek. (A fan really got their money's worth there... 😏)

Though he doesn’t exactly like the MC getting shipped with other people, he'll still totally sell pictures of any of them together. He almost paid off an entire credit card with the money he got from the t-shirt sales of the MC and Satan!

If he had to point to one ship he doesn't like it's either MC x Asmo or MC x Levi. His opinion, but Asmo won't treat them right and they could do waaay better than a shut-in. Like him. Ship the MC with just the Great Mammon, got it?

Leviathan

… Lowkey super active in the MC shipping community but is a self-shipper to the extreme.

Like, he never uses his real name on anything (and would probably die from embarrassment if anyone ever found out) but a lot of their fans probably know a couple of his aliases.

He does everything from mod forums, runs a couple blogs, even anonymously posts his own work of him and MC that are totally not his secret fantasy dates or AU versions of themselves, shaddup.

It’s a lot easier for him to keep his involvement secret because he’s hardly at RAD, but the few times he does show up he tries to keep an eye out for anybody prowling for pictures so he can get in a good pose and save the image later.

Mind you, his version of a “good pose” rarely gets more spicy than linking pinkies, but even then he’s still lit up a Christmas Tree throughout.

Naturally, he’s also not a big fan of any ships that aren’t just him and MC and he can find a reason to be jealous at almost anything. But he keeps a special corner of hate for MC x Mammon and MC x Diavolo. Like, the first one doesn’t even need an explanation but MC x Diavolo?? Really??? Do those two even talk?? (please, please, please make sure they never actually talk because a guy like him versus literal royalty? He’d lose MC for sure….!! 😫)

Satan

He hates to actually agree with Lucifer on something, but their fans are starting to get out of hand...

Knows what shipping is in concept, he may have done it once or twice to characters in his books, but he was kind of surprised how it could evolve into such a… group activity?

He was pretty quick to pick up that the MC’s fans had a bit more interest in them together than they did when they both were apart…

I mean, those hideous shirts that Mammon was pedaling were kind of a dead giveaway…

Considering he finds their fanclub all rather annoying, even without their bizarre interest in his love life, when they started actively meddling with him and the MC he was ready to smash some heads.

No. He will not stop for pictures. No. What things they do together is none of your business. No. He has zero interest in seeing your explicit fanart and if you don’t start running that will be the last question you ever ask.

He DOES, however, appreciate the cringy “annoy Lucifer” ammo. They could keep that up for a lifetime... 😏

Oh he is shamelessly a part of the community, are you kidding?? 

He could practically call “Shipping the MC” one of his favorite pastimes. He’ll openly gossip with their fanclub about who they’ve been with, who they’re seeing, who’s got a chance, etc… He lives for this shit!

He’s the only person who knows that Levi is also in the community and what his aliases are (not because he told him, but because Levi’s not as subtle as he thinks he is… Who else would call themselves “SupremeRuri666” and speak mostly in outdated chat lingo?) but he doesn’t out him because he thinks his very obvious crush is kind of cute. 

Plus, Levi needs the outlet waaaay more than him…

Doesn’t stop him from constantly trolling him and getting into arguments over who the MC would be better with though (the two are “virtual nemeses” as far as Levi is concerned).

Appreciates all forms of expression that comes out of the community (especially the saucy kind 😏) and will happily feed into his own shippers without a care in the world.

Truthfully, Asmo will say that there isn’t a ship he doesn’t like but if someone mentions one that he thinks is kind of “eh,” he’ll just add himself into the mix. “Oh, you like MC x Barbatos? Well how about Asmo x MC x Barbatos? That sounds loads more interesting doesn’t it??”

Beelzebub 

Oh, Beel… Sweet, sweet Beel… Beel doesn’t even know what their club is doing…

Because Beel has a reputation of being pretty protective of MC - and against the fanclub in general - the club keeps a healthy distance… but that doesn’t mean they’re not going to sneak in some picture or make a SHITLOAD of fanwork about them.

Between classes and practice Beel is a busy guy, so sometimes he just doesn’t notice that there’s people hiding behind trees when he’s out with MC. 

Honestly, his complete ignorance of it all makes it even cuter because when he acts sweet, it’s not just for the camera. That’s the real deal.

Mammon was the one who eventually let it slip that there was even shipping happening and Beel was… kind of creeped out because isn’t this stalking? But also kind of weirdly happy(?) that MC x Beel was so popular… Very conflicted boy here.

He never actually acknowledges the community, though, and just keeps on being Beel (which still gave the fans more than enough material so all’s well that ends well?)

Beel genuinely doesn’t have a least favorite ship (because he believes the best ship is whoever makes the MC happy) but his second favorite under himself is probably MC x Belphie. They look very cute together...  😊

His campaign against the MC’s fanclub and their attention stealing ways means that he found out about their shipping thing only slightly ahead of Beel when Mammon was trying to get pictures of them napping together…

Honestly, he couldn’t care less if a bunch of weirdos were weirdly invested in their relationship, but he’s not about to let Mammon just make a quick Grimm off of it. Belphie makes sure that he gives him NOTHING to work with. 

Since Mammon is the main dealer, the shippers in both the MC fanclub and Belphie fanclub aren’t nearly as well fed and pretty desperate for anything... You best believe he plays that to his advantage (because it’s okay if he does. He’s not Mammon).

Really helps that MC x Belphie is legitimately a very cute looking couple, carried by Belphie’s cuteness alone if nothing else. Add an adorable MC and you reach levels so cute it could actually melt people into puddles of goo... They could be a registered weapon.

Least favorite MC ships are any that don’t involve him or Beel. Any others may as well just not exist, he won’t even acknowledge them. MC x Who? Yeah, that’s what he thought.
