A very frank rebuttal to the Trump Administration's decisions:

The phrase "You can't put the genie back into the bottle" often refers to how something had happened that can't be taken back. At least not fully. The Republican Party can executive order us back to the 1950s all they want but the people have lived through a more equal world.

We have seen a world with people that are willing to call out bigotry be it overt or dogwhistles that you're just now finding out. The progress we made can be defecated on by Trump all he wants but minorities have gotten a great taste of acceptance.

And to quote a Democrat, we are not going back. I know what the new laws are saying but because I've been raised as a decent human being, I don't care. My existence as a biracial person is already bound to be a crime.

To all those out there, rebel however much you can. Break every rule they try to foist onto you when you go out there. Use your chosen name. Hold your partner lovingly. Make your need for proper health heard.

And most importantly, say "No" whenever they try to read you the riot act.
