Katsuki Bakugou

It was a random training, nothing unusual. But you, using extra knives whenever your quirk can’t be useful, didn’t really expect them to bump into an hardened Kirishima, throwing them right back at you. But luckily for you, you were able to move away so they wouldn’t pierce through you.

Still, it was enough for one of them to rip your costume, on your chest era. Nothing out of the extraordinary for you, often wearing clothes that weren’t really hiding your breast, but still, you were at school and training.

Katsuki was quick to make an explosion, big enough to make smoke, hiding you and him. Indeed, you guys had been paired up, so he was close to you. « Thank you ! » you said. He only nodded and gave you his gauntlet so you would hold it in front of the rip and no one would see.

« But you know, I often wear clothes that show them like that. » you snorted. « So what ? Stop being a whore and be grateful I hid you. There’s this guy in a diaper creeping around. » he replied, his usual angry expression on. « Mineta, right. » you said.

« Come on ! Go back to the lockers to get it fixed ! » he exclaimed, seeing you not moving. « I’ll go, I’ll go ! I just stayed cause I know you like it when I’m a ‘whore’. » you explained, earning a snort from the blonde. You were lucky he never shut you up for flirting with him.

Shoto Todoroki

You were paired up with Shoto during a training. As Bakugou made an explosion too close to you, you were fast enough to jump and not face directly the explosion, but you were still close enough for you costume to rip at its strength.

You didn’t even notice, waiting for the blonde to leave so you’d be sure to stand up and keep training in peace. But as you stood up, Shoto noticed the huge rip in your costume. Not enough for you breast to be out like Momo’s, but enough to be embarrassing for you.

He immediately averted his gaze and created a tiny ice wall in front of you. You were about to look at him curiously when you noticed that you were just way too naked for your liking. « Oh- thanks ! » you said, trying to tie your costume to hide the rip.

« I didn’t look, I just saw a bit your skin so- » he started to explain. « Don’t be embarrassed, it’s okay, it wasn’t on purpose. » you reassured him. You knew a bit about his crush on you, as Izuku was quite the tattletale, actually.

« I managed to tie the front, see ? » you said. He nodded, a bit blushing that he had to look at the knot you had made -it was still your chest area and he was still rather awkward. « You should still… go back to the locker rooms to get it properly fixed… » he said, looking away. You giggled and went to Aizawa to tell him about your rip.

Hitoshi Shinsou

It had been a few weeks since Shinsou started training with the hero branch. You had had your eye on him since the sports festival -where he brainwashed you to be on his team- even before he became muscular and friendly.

So let’s say it was already quite awkward for you to have to train with your crush. But it became even worse when your team -including you, him, Kirishima and Ojiro- got chased by Bakugou’s and the blonde made an explosion so big its strength just made rips on your costume.

At the loud sound, Shinsou turned to see if everyone behind him was okay, when he noticed you. You weren’t hurt, but you had rips in your costume, making it look like you had borrowed Momo’s. The guys had theirs ripped too -if it was possible for Kiri’s to be worse- but he was focused on you.

He threw his scarf at you, so you just caught it, not knowing much what he wanted. Once you all stopped, he noticed you looked confused. « Aren’t you a bit cold ? » he asked, the tiny grin on his face hidden by his mask. Ojiro pointed out your rip and you gasped, hiding by just wearing the scarf.

« Thank you ! » you told the purple haired boy, your cheeks warmer than ever. « You should go to Aizawa to get that fixed. I mean- if you mind it. » he said. « I DO ! I do- yeah… » you tried to say, even more embarrassed than before. Your team left, Shinsou hiding his giggle at your reaction as you also walked away

Who would the 10-13 1A members that died in the MLA be, if MHA had any actual stakes? I really liked your Kaminari idea, so I just wanted to explore it with you. It would have realistically made UA/the heroes look a hell of a lot worse and the villains look a hell of a lot smarter if they went for the angle of "the best heroics school in Japan is using child soldiers!"

I know for the heroes, it should have been Pixie Bob and Gran Torino in addition to Crust. Endeavor also should have died because it would have actually given the story actual stakes - Japan is now in shambles and the new #1 hero/heavy hitter is dead. Oh shit, what are they going to do?

Firstly I feel I should clarify that both 1A and B would lose some team members as both classes were thrust into war with basically no real training. Although for the sake of plot 1A would lose vastly more.

With that stated, let us begin.

I know for a fact that Koda is dead.

Truthfully, there is no way someone as bulky as him (with the addition of his poorly designed costume) would be even marginally capable of outrunning Shigaraki's Decay.

His quirk (Anivoice) gives him zero advantages and being in Jaku (a city under evacuation) would only add to this.

We also mustn't forget that the rubble by itself was also capable of disintegrating anything it touched. Putting all that together and given how close he was to "ground zero", his chances of survival are slim to none.

Additionally, everyone who found Midnight's corpse is either dead or brutally injured.

Midnight's body is isolated in a decently foliage heavy area, with plenty of hiding spots and vantage points making it all too easy to set an ambush.

Our merry band of MLA/PLF mercenaries simply have to bide their time, wait for the shock and horror to settle in and then strike.

Sero, Kirishima and Setsuna are easy targets (with Setsuna being the farthest from the bait) their backs are turned and mentally are either distant or "vacant".

If Momo didn't recover from her grief and get off the floor, it's game over.

However. She would likely manage to fend them off long enough to escape (thanks to her intelligence and dexterity), although not without some scars. (eyepatch momo, anyone?)

Mina might be able to hold them off due to her acid but will eventually falter because (as you mentioned) Aizawa's a shitheel.

That brings us up to 5 students so far (if we include Kaminari's death) that have died due to UA's (and the HPSC's) crippling negligence.

I'm a tad hesitant to add Tsu here but it's unlikely she'd survive. (even if she does survive the wave, she'd likely die in the crossfire)

Comicman, because yeah he's unimportant.

For the Villa Raid team it's important that we cut some heroes in order for this scenario to work.

Edgeshot is dead, likely fried to death by Electro-lite.

This would cause the raiding heroes to become discouraged and overwhelmed.

the MLA's gear is more than a match and combined with their years of fighting and tactical prowess. It's not even close.

Simply put; divide and conquer.

Mineta's dying for sure. His costume restricts his (torso and leg) movements and makes him standout like a traffic cone. That guy with holes all over his body is likely the one to snuff him out.

Ojiro is dead the moment the MLA members use numbers to overwhelm him, no amount of martial arts will save you from getting jumped.

Mines dies because his quirk (Twin Impact) suffers from the Flect Fallacy.(Overwhelming the quirk will break it). So pretty much any MLA member could be the one to kill him

That sets the score to 11 total student deaths (8 for 1A, 3 for 1B), not a good look.

We know the rest, Dabi kills Enji for good.

Skeptic publishes a video along with Dabi's exposé that reveals UA is using child soldiers and that the HPSC forged paperwork to allow this.

And the crowd goes wild!

The reactions would be brutal, national if not global criticism from every angle.

The entire raid and evacuation effort would be considered an immense failure, the villains remain at large to gather their numbers and most civilians would be left homeless and displaced.

The hero that everybody placed their bets on turned out be a child/wife beating eugenicist who bought (and later assaulted) his wife when she was only 17. Only to be killed off by the very child he left to burn.

The (global) outrage partially stems from the fact that if it weren't for Dabi, no one would have known otherwise .

The number 2 hero is an (attempted) murderer and seems almost irritated at Enji being outed, the world stage takes this the wrong way and opts not to aid Japan.* What pisses them off the most is his uncaring attitude.

Considering them a lost cause when Shigaraki not only breaks everyone out of Tartarus but also manges to kill AFO by sheer force of will (and wanting to see his friends live as they please)

Rei's speech/conference serves as the final nail. Going into immense detail of the pain she and her children suffered at the hands of Enji. (If their were any doubts Touya was her son, they were killed here)

When asked if anyone knew, she finishes her speech off with revealing that some heroes and staff knew about the abuse and chose to look the other way. Causing the room to burst into an uproar.

*(explaining why Japan was allowed to fester for as long as it did without intervention, something Hori failed to explain)

Parents begin pulling out their children in droves, not wanting to risk their kids getting drafted, others quit by choice.

Shiketsu and Ketsubutsu don't put their students on the front lines (they aren't stupid). The commission is unable to force them due to their, "unique" situation.

The heroes that quit are harshly criticized by the public and media (and usually fairly too), pointing out how shitty it looks (and is) for heroes to suddenly abandon them as soon as things get serious.

Class 1A is left to pickup the pieces with 8 classmates killed (+ Bakugo) the events of the last week have shocked them to their cores but perhaps there is hope.

Of course they're left to pick up their predecessors mistakes, again.

Midoriya would still go rouge, albiet he would stick to his principals. He's made a disturbing connection between Bakugo and Endeavor and it haunts him.

(I should add that Bakugo's death is portrayed for the selfish play it was)

Midoriya likely driven by the need to ensure that he doesn't lose anyone else. His anger at AM would probably stem from the fact that he is putting himself in danger for someone as "expendable" as himself.

I could see the two having a heart to heart that Midoriya is more than his quirk once he willingly returns.

Some additional information:

Bakugo dies permanently, because Edgeshot was killed by "Electro" earlier (even then I'm not doing the writing atrocity that is the "Jeart".)

For heroes I'd like to add Jeanist to the roster. Gigantomachia should have swatted him and his airship like a fly. This means the top 3 are dead, adding to the chaos. This also prevents the old-gen from taking up space.

The High-End Nomu beat the tar out of Miriko, leaving crippled at best and a paraplegic at worst. (That is assuming they don't kill her).

Fourth Kind is killed when, like Ojiro, he is overwhelmed.

Your absolutely correct, Gran Torino and Pixiebob are eliminated, joining Crust.

Twice actually lives, though I would keep that ambiguous until later, he wouldn't get out unscathed of course and would probably need to be put into a coma while his injuries heal.

Himiko's revenge plot now has additional stakes as she promises Twice that she will return to him. (before he's medically put under)

This also fuels the PLF + Spinner, vowing to do right by their ally and friend.

Dabi would have disfigured Hawks upon discovery of his attempt on Twice's life, no more cosmetic scars. Just good old fashioned brutality.

(The fear of losing Twice may have dug up the past memory of losing his mother after Enji drove her to the brink. As Dabi cares deeply for both [even if he won't admit it] ontop of the fact that it's a "hero" that's trying to take them and he betrayed them).

Overall this world is going to be one wild ride with a very different ending to what Hori gave us.

It is a story not of heroes and villains, but of ideals and goals. It asks the question:

What is it to save?

A few additional notes:

Momo would likely have a revenge arc as a sort of parallel between Izuku and Himiko. However it wouldn't be as bland as what we got in canon with Mina.

The mercenaries aren't mustache twirling supremacists, no. Here they're cold, calculated soldiers who are strictly tactical. Midnight was "nothing personal, just business" to them.

They serve as a dark mirror to Momo's shift in personality during the war, as Momo reverts to her initial cold confidant personality and kicks it up to 20 as she hunts them down.

Midnight's killer even points out midbattle on how Momo was sexualized and she doesn't even know it. Telling her at one point: "You may see them as an equal, they see you as a display"

The battle isnt treated as a victory either, while the Momo and her squadron win, the gravity of the situation isn't ignored and Momo actually listens to her opponent's critique.

I'm in the middle of writing about the ending of MHA. I wanted to include a bit where I talk about the updates the characters have had to their looks and costumes, but felt that it was too long of a diatribe. Instead, I'm throwing it out here. That may be difficult considering how crowded the final shot is and how there is no official colored version out, but I can do my best.

Mineta: Also barely changed barring the little grape vine on his head and a similar design around his writs and he does his waist. It's more cohesive, I guess, but it's still whatever.

Sato: I honestly thought that Sato only had a pair of gloves as his new costume. Still though, I miss the mask as a part of his look. I would say more, but Sato's design has never been interesting, so I'm not disappointed.

Hagkaure: She has the biggest downgrade. Poor girl lost half of her costume during the time skip. She doesn't even have access to shoes anymore. That or she secretly has the best costume and the lighting was wrong.

Sero: Barely anything changed here. His helmet is sharper, which I could take or leave but do prefer the older one, and he's our first example of characters getting wrist bands. Not the more prominent trend, but one I noticed.

Mina: There isn't any notable changes to her costume, except more wrist bands which you think would just be melted by her acid, but I like the longer hair and horns. Even if the fact that her horns seemingly changed positions and shapes bugs the life out of me.

Kirishima: I don't even think there is anything different about Kirishina's costume. Maybe more pronounced teeth on the mask and making his gears more jagged, but that's about it. At least he has the best hair designs out of the new looks.

Ojiro: I like the changes. He got rid of the silly one sided fur on his neck in favor of a full one. He traded out the white gi for a black one, showing he evolved further in his martial prowess. And again, he has the headpiece like a few of the other characters.

Jiro: She exchanged the leather jacket for the vest. It's a fine trade, giver her more of a proper punk rocker look. Once again though, she is the part of the odd trend of giving characters wrist bands, seemingly loosing her arm speakers.

Koda: The character done the most dirty for design. In both panels he's in, his entire costume is covered by text boxes. At least his lost the mask, both showing him being more open and because it was basically useless now.

Shoji: Odd how one of the few students with their own panels has pretty much nothing changed about their look. And his may be a hot take, but I don't like Shoji with longer hair. I just think it looks really weird on him.

Tsuyu: A very minor change to how her headpiece looks, but I like it. It looks like a cute little summer cap instead of hulking headpiece she had before. The lenses looking like frog eyes were certainly a nice touch and adds to the "cute and friendly" look.

Tokoyami: The only change seems to be that Tokoyami now has a scarf on top of his cloak. I don't really get it. It doesn't look good and doesn't have any particular benefits. Was he really taking tips from Square Enix with wanting more cloaks?

Shinso: Shinso grew out his hair. That's about it. I'm mixed on this. It's not a bad design, but it can make Shinso feel more and more like a clone of Aizawa. So much of his design is already based on Aizawa. Could we maybe do something a bit diffident?

Iida: More of a sidegrade with this one. The extra muffles around his head look silly. I like the more cap shaped helmet, more resembling his brother's costume and looking similar to the cap the Greek god Hermes would wear for neat little visual reference.

Aoyama: I'm conflicted. One the one hand, Aoyama's costume does look a more practical with the removal of things like the cape and sliming down the design, but it loses a lot of the personality. Plus his pants are really dumb. I don't care how they are colored, they just look silly.

Denki: He may just have the most improved costume. His disk launcher has been broken down into a smaller version of it, seemingly with darts instead. The lightning patterns on his pants are nice as well to give his look more flavor. And the headphones work with his design.

Uraraka: I miss the space visor. It really brought the whole them of the costume together. Instead we get another pair of headphones. I do like the little bits of Izuku's costume in the look, such as the metal around her neck and the launchers around her arm looking like his gloves.

Momo: Momo has a proper shirt now. I do wish it has some more design to it. Maybe some white accidents around it reminiscent of her old look to make more like an evolution. Maybe she could have taken some visual ques from Midnight's or Magic's costume to show respect to her former mentors.

Shoto. Not a lot changed here, surprisingly. The most there is Shoto having designs similar to Enji on his chest. Which I do hope has more of the red and white as part of it. It'd be a neat way to represent how Shoto is still Enji's kid who incorporated everything he learned from him, but is more then his own person at this point that can be free of the shadow that Endeavor cast over his life.

Bakugou: I don't much care for this new design. While I like how they intergrade more of his winter costume into his standard look, it loses on a lot of personality that the old costume had. Things like the blast shaped mask and grenade bracers were great additions and it really needs more of that orange and green to break up all the black. The little fuse tassels are nice though.

Izuku: Out of the all the characters here, I find myself the most reserved about Izuku's new look. Because it depends so much on the coloring. The look itself I think is fine. A natural final conclusion to his costume. But the colors have always been an issue for me. I'm just hoping the cape and highlights are plain white as opposed to the clashing orange and yellow of his last look.

I recall one of your posts stating that they each do vocals to some degree, so I was wondering if you had any thoughts about specific singers or songs that you feel would match their voices/vocal styles.

Summary: Musicians that the guys sound like or are inspired by, as well as their tastes in music!

Fumikage Tokoyami:

🎤 Of the three, Tokoyami has the deepest voice, speaking and singing wise. However, Shoji's voice goes deeper, but he can't hold lower notes as consistantly as Toko can.

🎤 His voice is increadibly clear and smooth. He lacks the same gravel that the tohers have, but their fans adore him for it. He holds long, passionate notes that taste like melted chocolate.

🎤 Toko is a classically trained baritone, and tends to take his biggest vocal inspirations from many who are as well, though it isn't a requirement. These include but are not limited to Claudio Sanchez of Coheed and Cambria, Amy Lee of Evanescence, and David Draiman of Disturbed.

🎤 As for who he actually sounds like, his voice has been compared to that of Adam Gontier of Three Days Grace more than anyone else. He has also been told he sounds like Benjamin Burnley of Breaking Benjamin. On the tracks that Ojiro takes the lead and Tokoyami raps, he takes after Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park and Fort Minor.

🎸 When it comes to guitar, he's increadibly well rounded, being able to play accousitc, electric, and bass with not only ease but extreme skill. He perfers electric most, just because it's what's easiest to sing with and it garners him the most attention.

🎸 Has a massive guitar collection and is VERY particular about his instruments. Nearly everyone he uses on stage after the hit it big is custom made and he chooses a few to take on tour with him so none of them get too used. His favorite two are a red flying V electric that fades to black at the tips, and a black bass with indigo feathers airbrushed up the side.

🎸 When it comes to inspirations, he craves complicated solos, and looks to Claudio Sanchez of Coheed and Cambria and James Hetfield of Metallica. Though Tokoyami isn't as into classic rock as Shoji is, he has taken a liking to the dramatic solos that Metallica is known for, and he's caught himself staying up for days trying to learn riffs like 'Welcome Home', by Coheed and Cambria.

🎧 Out of the three of them, Tokoyami enjoys the heaviest music and the darkest themes. He's a bit of a gatekeeper when it comes to bands he likes, so he'll for sure make sure he knows all their most underground songs. He likes raw, unfiltered anger and emotion in his music. He's not particularly interested in the 'sex, drugs' and rock n' roll' type of lifestyle, so it doesn't interest his taste in music either. He prefers depressing, thought-provoking lyrics, but he can overlook vulgar words if he likes the instrumentals.

Mezo Shoji:

🎤 Shoji actually has the highest voice in the group, but Ojiro is a very close second. He also has a surprising range, dipping even lower than Tokoyami's with the same high note limit as Ojiro. His voice has significant gravel, even in his normal speaking voice.

🎤 Because of his quirk, he can duplicate more mouths for a small choir-like effect, which lets them all harmonize beautifully. It also makes their overall sound really unique and recognizable as the band tries to utilize Shoji for reprises, bridges, and choruses as often as possible.

🎤 They also like that they need to use less technical effects to match their studio recorded music while playing live because they don't have to record over their voices to get the effect like most other musicians. Shoji did it himself in the studio, and he loves doing it onstage even more.

🎤 Shoji doesn't tend to put much stock into who he wants to sound like, since he does the least amount of singing of the three. He mostly just repeats what the others say or gives background feedback. However, he is a big fan of classic rock and he really digs vocal twang. One of his biggest vocal inspirations is Dave Mustaine of Megadeth. He likes to practice calls and responses with himself, especially when he drums and Sweating Bullets is one of his favorite songs to do that to. Often times during downtime in rehearsal which Ojiro and Tokoyami are songwriting, Shoji starts in on the drums to the song saying: "Well me, it's nice talkin' to myself," with a big grin while one of his dupli-mouths says: "A credit to dementia."

🎤 As for what Shoji actually sounds like, he is perfect for that gravelly, cocky dad-rock vibe. He's been compared to Matt Walst of My Darkest Days and Three Days Grace, as well as Johnny Vanderhoven of Good with Grenades.

🥁 Just like with his vocals, Shoji takes full advantage of his quirk when it comes to drumming. He has an incredibly complex setup with multiple snares, kick drums, and symbols. He doesn't tend to you more than two pairs of sticks at a time so he can still sing, but for a few songs with especially complicated solos, he's been known to use up to three or even four.

🥁 Almost never uses the same pair of sticks twice. Not only does he lose them, but he snaps them very frequently. He keeps extra pairs near him, stuck in crevices between drums and stuck down the back of his shirt so he can toss the broken ones behind his head and reach back for new ones seamlessly. He also loves tossing them into the audience or giving them to cute groupies after shows.

🥁 He absolutely loves performing and all the attention that being a rockstar gets him. He was at first very reserved, but when he realized how many fans he- not just the band as a whole- had, he was instantly addicted to it. He contanstly shows off to his fans, spending his free time on the bus or backstage teaching himself tricks like twirling his sticks in his fingers.

🥁 Just like with vocals, he doesn't so much take inspiration from other drummers but, by far his favorite is Josh Eppard of Coheed and Cambria. He admires his skill and outlook on the rockstar life, and has spent weeks trying to learn certain parts in his songs.

🎧 Shoji really likes anything fun. He's not as stuck up about lyrics as Tokoyami and Ojiro are. He likes music about sex and drugs, even though he's not acutally that experienced in the former and would never be tempted with the latter. His playlist matches that of a divorced dad.

🎤 Ojrio has the second highest voice in the group, after Shoji but he can hold high notes a lot longer than he can. He also has a really nice screaming voice that has a lot of passion behind it, and a significant gavel that gets raspier the louder he gets. When he's just casually singing or singing something other than rock, he has a really pretty, soothing voice.

🎤 Ojrio didn't sing at all at first seeing as Tokoyami was already the lead singer of the band, and Shoji can do backups with his quirk. But, when it was discovered how naturally talented he was, the others insisted he sing at least occasionally. Now, him and Tokoyami write at least two songs on every album where he takes the spotlight.

🎤 Despite being the lead singer on a few tracks, he still perfers to do duets with Tokoyami, because the thought of all the attention being on him scares him to bits. Though he'd never admit it, he does slowly begin to fall in love with the publicity off it all over time. He loves screaming a chorus and having the crowd echo it with just as much enthusiasm. And from the frint of the stage, he can see the audience better, its such a good time. He can't handle it all the time though, so he's content with his few minutes of fame before going back to the side lines.

🎤 His biggest inspirations, by far are Chester Bennington of Linkin Park and Marcus Mumford of Mumford and Sons. Luckily for him, these are also the voices he's compared to most often. Ojrio has the skill of matching his voice extremely well to others', so with practice, he was able to make his voice similar to his inspirations.

🎸 Ojiro doesn't really take as much of an interest in inspiration when it comes to the instruments he plays, but as for bass, Tokoyami got him into the lighter side of Coheed and Cambria's music and he fell in love with Zach Zooper's style of playing immediately. He listened to 'Number City' relentlessly for days on repeat, obsessed with the basslines and trying to recreat them.

🎸 Though he doesn't use the skills much in the band, Ojiro can actually play quite a few string instruments including bass, acoustic, and electric guitar (though not as well as Tokoyami can), cello, violin, and banjo. He learned classical strings in elementary school where he was placed in an orchestra class. His mother wanted him to learn violin, but he always performed the cello, he was very talented with each, though. In middle school, he had a folk-rock phase where he became obsessed with Mumford and Sons. That led him to learning the banjo, which is his favorite instrument by far.

🎧 Ojrio has by far the lightest taste in music of the three, perferring softer, catchier tunes with deeper meanings behind the lyrics. He likes songs that make him think about real world problems and make him feel empowered to face them at the same time.

U.A. High School Field Trip Around Japan: Day 3 Translations

This is Day 3 of Shonen Jump’s special commemoration of My Hero Academia reaching one hundred million copies worldwide, which is being rolled out daily across one-week in each prefecture’s newspaper.

Class 1-A is visiting Sado Island's Chokokuji Temple, where a 20-foot tall rabbit statue has been erected to show appreciation for the temple's domestic rabbits tended by the priests, who roam the grounds freely. Just behind Todoroki actually stands a second, much smaller rabbit statue. The goddess of mercy, Kannon, is carved into the rabbits' chests.

Toyama

They are visiting Kurobe Dam, the tallest dam in Japan at 186 meters (610 feet).

This is Omicho Market in Kanazawa, the capital of Ishikawa, a very busy market with fresh seafood, vegetables, fruit, and local specialties!

Fukui

Izuku: "Sauce katsudon originates in Fukui prefecture! ︎ The deep flavor comes from the sour sauce seeping into the cutlet! You could say the sauce is saving the cutlet, and the cutlet is saving the sauce. It's a food that embodies the concept of being able to save to win and win to save. I don't think it's an exaggeration to call it the soul food of heroes. Ahhh! I can't stop thinking that I want everyone in Japan to know more about this..." Uraraka: "He's saying it's tasty."

One of Fukui's specialties is "sauce katsudon" wherein the pork cutlet is battered, coated in crumbs, deep fried, and then coated in a thick, sweet, tangy, savory sauce. "Katsu" means cutlet but it is phonetically identical to the word for win--the same one that's in Katsuki's name. Izuku is such a nerd, dear god. Special thanks to @pikahlua for saving my skin with Izuku's dreaded mumble-speech!

Yamanashi

Mirio: "There's... A RIPE PEACH! There's... RIPE GRAPES!" Kaminari: "The Yamanashi Prefecture Tourism Ambassador Hero...!" Sero: "Have we got a chance!?" Kirishima: "Sempai, you went out of your way just for this!?"

Yamanashi is one of Japan's big fruit providers with many orchards and vineyards, specializing in grapes, plums, and peaches. Mount Fuji is visible in the background! But Mirio... what were the ripe grapes!?

Nagano

They are at Jigokudani Monkey Park with Japanese macaque (snow monkeys), who love to hang out in hot springs in the winter.

Gifu

The Historic Villages of Shirakawa-gō and Gokayama are part of a World Heritage Site protecting the traditional gasshō-zukuri houses unique to the area. The style is named for the arch of the roof looking like hands in prayer; the area gets substantial snowfall every year, and the shape of the roof and structure of the walls are optimal for protecting the integrity of the house. I got to see and step inside this style of home at the Japan Open-Air Folk Museum, and they are absolutely incredible. The informational placards said that in years when the snow piles high enough, the second story windows are used as entrances!

Shizuoka

Yaoyorozu: "The reason Mount Fuji looks blue is because its size is so great that one must view it at a distance. This distance puts a thick layer of air in-between, scattering the light and causing the mountain's surface to appear blue. The sky is blue for the same reason." Ashido: "Yaomomo's like a walking encyclopedia!" Aoyama: "A beautiful blue mountain, you say? Why, there's one right here~!"

Viewing Mount Fuji from Shizuoka's famous tea fields. Shizuoka provides 40% of Japan's green tea! I've had a few varieties unique to their area, they were very flavorful and soothing. Aoyama is bein' vain because his surname means "blue mountain."

Aichi

Satou: "All right, all right, now this is what I've been waiting for!" Yaoyorozu: "It's delicious!" Todoroki (thinking): "Half-Sweet Half-Salt..."

They are eating Ogura toast, a dish originating in a Nagoya cafe in 1921. Ogura jam is a sweet spread made out of adzuki beans, and it is often served with butter -- the butter being salted is the source of Todoroki's stroke of genius. I've had it several times, it's tasty!!

Random MHA Headcanons!

Cause I am having A DAY. So let’s do something to get that dopamine hit!

Satou, while a fabulous baker, is (at best) a mediocre cook. He has a few dished that he can make consistently, but is otherwise a disaster. It’s only after he moves into the 1-A dorms that he begins improving. (Apparently he and Bakugou are trading lessons in cooking and baking, but shhhhh! We don’t mention that Bakugou might need LESSONS!)

Jirou has recordings of her parents heartbeats to listen too, when she feels stressed or has trouble sleeping. She is extremely embarrassed about this.

Hagakure enjoys photography. She’s quite good at it, especially given she’s never had any kind of training or professional equipment. If the hero thing hadn’t worked out, she could have had quite the career as a freelance photographer.

Kouda’s Quirk reacts oddly to people with animal-based Quirks. He cannot control them, like he can regular animals, but he CAN use his Quirk to translate for them if they have non-human vocal chords.

If Sero overuses his Quirk, the skin on his elbows becomes dry, cracked, and peeling. Part of his daily routine is moisturizing his arms.

If Kaminari had better control of his Quirk, he could probably utilize electro-magnetism (please look up hero series Static Shock, I just want my boy to be able to air surf, is that wrong?).

The kids, at first, would often go to Momo for things they needed replaced. Momo had no issues with this, seeing it mostly as practice. However, after she nearly fainted at one point, the class has instituted a payment system. If you want Momo to make you something over a certain size or weight, you need to give payment in food, to help her replenish her fat stores.

Bakugou has a wide range of random skills, that seem very incongruous. Most stem from Bakugou seeing someone do something, deciding “I can do that”, and then throwing himself in whole hog. Some of these random skills include knitting, surfing, lockpicking, candle-making, knife-throwing, and embroidery.

CC!Specific-Himiko enjoys doll customization. She finds it a very soothing process. At home, she didn’t really get the chance to do much with it, but at school, she’s really stretching her creative muscles. She has a few smaller things she’s working on, but her current big project is making a doll for each of her classmates in their hero costumes.

1-A sometimes has trivia nights. After the first night, they banned Midoriya from playing when the subject is Heroes, instead making him the moderator who asked the questions. After the second night, they had to institute a partner who will go through all of Midoriya’s questions, and make sure they can actually be answered.

Aoyama’s family seems to work in food imports, specifically dairy products, like cheese.

There is a cat café near the U.A. campus. Aizawa is largely responsible for why it’s still open.

Mina’s whole family works in chemicals. She has a cousin that does cosmetics, which are some of the only kind Mina can actually use.

Iida used to have braces.

Tsuyu briefly had a tadpole tail as a baby. It vanished by the time she was two.

Uraraka’s Quirk is actually misdiagnosed. It isn’t canceling gravity, it’s gravity manipulation.

Quirk Counselling can be a very lucrative job, but it isn’t particularly well regulated, so just about anyone can do the job. This is particularly problematic, because every child is required by law to see a Quirk Counsellor for a minimum of six months after their Quirk manifests. Several Heroes - including Present Mic, Eraserhead, Ryuku, Nighteye, and The Wild, Wild Pussycats - have been pushing for better laws and policy around Quirk Counselling, but are being hampered by the HPSC.

Both of Ojiro’s father and sister have more pronounced physical mutations, while Ojiro takes more after his mother in looks.

Yeah no Katsuki 100% sees something and goes ‘I might one day have to utilize this’ and learns it. But you can tell which ones she actually enjoys and was using ‘I can probably figure out a way to use this for my Hero Career’ as an exxcuse to enjoy things without guilt of not being training 24/7

Himiko absolutely would love doll customization. She used to just watch videos in secret because god forbid her parents got a glimpse of it and saw how horrifically violent it looked out of context.

Izuku honey please not everyone can do your trivia levels. The class thinks that Katsuki will be able to rein Izuku in on Hero Triva but they forget that she’s also a fucking nerd so she barely pulls punches either. Someone else is chosen. 

Ahahaha yeah that Quirk Counselling can certainly be an OOF. I think the Heroes might get some leverage in that department here soon upon finding out that the lack of regulation was just helping AfO find plenty of allies and Nomu fodder.

Alright, Ojiro/Deku hows that for a rarepair? It all started with the Shinsou thing at the sports festival when Ojiro said when this for me. After Deku won Ojiro was really happy and Deku looked at him like "Huh....he's actually really cute" i don't think not a single person ships this but me they could be cute together. Ojiro training with Deku and Deku getting his ass folded by a martial artist but also Ojiro getting folded by Deku cause he's literally the strongest ever. Can we call the ship plain boys cause apparently in the mha universe Deku looks plain, has been called plain and Ojiro's room is plain as well apparently lol. They probably fell in love training together you can't convince me something ticked in their heads when a fist or foot collided with the others head or stomach. Ojiro is bad at cooking, he can only make simple things that don't require a lot of actual cooking.

Deku: "We are having katsudon"

Ojiro: "We had that 3 nights in a row."

Deku: "it's that, white bread or TV dinner"

They go shopping together always end up in the exercise section. Deku likes cuddling with Ojiro's tail it keeps him warm on a winter night. Ojiro is actually super shy when it comes to romance, Deku sort of is too so it's blushing covering their faces in the first part of the relationship but they slowly learn to contain themselves. They hold hands alot. They are a couple that rarely has any problems or arguments besides Ojiro asking Deku to please take care of himself but it never turns into a argument. Deku never would have guessed clothes shopping with Ojiro was this interesting, he's in on everything, he's asking questions. He's watching the people at the store prepare the pants with a tail hole for Ojiro or a sleeve and it's like the most interesting thing in the world to him. Ojiro is just looking at him cause this is normal. Don't know how they confessed but it had to be Ojiro who casually asked if Deku wanted to go out sometime.

Deku: "Oh! me?" and he's pointing at himself.

Ojiro: nervously laughs. "You're the only here."

Everything is just so natural for them to fall into, including each others habits. One time Ojiro is drunk at a part with Deku who hasn't had a single drink since he got here cause somebody told Ojiro he needed to relax and have fun at the party (probably Mina) and Ojiro said.

Ojiro: "i want to do taxes and laundry with you"

Deku: "What does that mean?"

He never answered him but he found out via Tsuyu like months later that it means he wants to get married, he freaks the fuck out cause he didn't even know he's married material. He brings it up and Ojiro says.

Ojiro: "Midoriya i was drunk!" half thinking it's funny half trying to understand why that's the take away Deku got from that time.

Deku: "Obviously! but did you mean it?"

Deku just takes somethings too seriously but Ojiro thinks it's cute.

I like the idea of them bonding over fighting together, cause very different styles but it would help both of them. And the idea that Izuku is plain is just absurd to me like this boy is beautiful but i digresskjdfjkdfk the people in the bnhaverse are crazy

them both not knowing how to cook byeeeekxjcdkfj them living off instant ramen and take-out and the one dish Izuku can actually cook

wait i think it's kinda cute that deku could sleep hugging the tail or it's just there for warmth during the night; i also think they would be a very chill couple, like nothing to complain about

okay you kinda sold them to me, cause this shit is cuteeee, like they would just be so sweet and cute together, can see them having romantic dates and everything. it would be an easy safe thing for both of them

Series is over, I still want interaction... that isn't all negative

So I'll do what always works and talk about shipping. This will be solely constructed around my own opinions. Let's start with the basics, in no particular order:

it's gonna be a long one...

Midoriya Izuku and Uraraka Ochako: Supportive best friends. Each other's biggest fans. Adorably flustered. They're both blushing constantly. If you can't at least acknowledge this ship, you might just hate wholesomeness.

Kirishima Eijiro and Ashido Mina: Horn buddies. Inspire each other. Literally color-coded. Power couple.

Todoroki Shoto and Yaoyorozu Momo: Two socially awkward, rich kids. Still very innocent. Again, each other's biggest fans. Also, like, canonically the two most attractive in the class. Bi-panic everywhere.

Iida Tenya and Hatsume Mei: So chaotic, possibly good for Iida's uptight personality, very likely bad for his health. He'll go gray by 26. I also don't think Hatsume really has any interest in... anyone like that. Hatsume don't need no man! Hatsume makes all her babies by herself!

Kaminari Denki and Jirou Kyoka: Aesthetically pleasing, and you know sometimes all a guy needs it to make a girl laugh. Kaminari would be way too into PDA and she would act like she hates it but be just as affectionate when they're alone.

Tokoyami Fumikage and Asui Tsuyu: His weird poetic lines vs her straightforward barreling to the point. I kinda feel like they only really get shipped because they were partners for one exam and they're both heteromorphs. Could be cute though.

Toshinori Yagi and Midoriya Inko: Fun in theory, but for some reason any approach to this ship kind of feels like Izuku wrote his own self/reader-insert fanfic with tags like All Might is y/n's stepdad, All Might marries y/n's mom, y/n is All Might's secret love child, etc...

Ojiro Mashiro and Hagakure Tooru: The invisible girl is the interesting one in this relationship... jokes aside, Ojiro actually has been shown to actively try and include Tooru in conversations when she's out on the edges. He doesn't treat her differently because she's invisible at the very least, which I would assume would feel like something huge to her. She often acts wildly to get people's attention, so always having someone's no matter what else is happening is a nice thought.

Alpha Hitoshi Shinso x Omega Mashirao Ojiro

Ojiro did not need to be told that for an omega he was very plain and average looking. He was aware. He had slanted small eyes, plain short blonde hair, average height, and a tail. That was his quirk. A thick and heavy tail. He has also been told that the only attractive thing about him is an Omega so he will be lucky to have someone even consider him. As if that didn't hurt his feelings. He told his parents about it who did not take kindly to that and thankfully got the Alpha expelled from the middle school and put into proper Alpha training since he was lacking. Ojiro was just lucky to have parents and four older brothers to care enough and not care about him being the only Omega. His mom is a Beta, his dad an Alpha and his brothers were either Alphas or Betas. It was difficult but, they all took classes for his sake so he appreciated and loved them to the moon and back.

"Mashi come join me for a study session" He turned to Izuku one of the more excitable ones in the class. Surprisingly Ojiro and he bonded very quickly telling each other secrets that the other people in the class don't know. It was nice. 

"Sure I'm coming." He grabbed his stuff and joined Izuku and his friends including Shinsou in the back. He had held a grudge against the purple-haired Alpha for a bit until they talked it out and he forgave him. They had a good friendship now that they passed that hurdle. "What are we working on?"

"I'm surprised you joined us today." He felt his eye twitch a bit at that but ignored it. Why was it always such a surprise when he decided to do something or join anything? It's not like it was the first time and that seemed to always be Iida's response to him being in any kind of social situation

"He joins us once a week, sure you wouldn't have forgotten that Class Prez?" It was Shinsou who stared at Iida who sputtered before choosing to not say anything and get right into a science- apparently, that's what we were doing. Ojiro stared at Shinsou for a few sharing a look before quickly looking away back down at his book. Usually, the boy was quiet and didn't interact much if not needed. 

"I think he's too worried about other things, kero that's why he forgot what day it is, kero" That is understandable. They had exams coming up and weren't always fun to do. The rest of the study period went by fast and it was lunchtime before they knew it. They always went to lunch after the study period. Ojiro sat with his normal friend group this time even though he kept looking over at the table where Izuku and his friends sat. 

"Something seems to be bothering you." He turned to Tokoyami who raised an eyebrow at him. He waved a hand not wanting to worry them. Being the only omega in his usual friend group equal to protective friends which weren't fun to deal with at times. 

"You know how Iida always makes a comment about me being somewhere or joining anything really." He had everyone at the table's attention now "Well I was going to let it go but Shinsou stood up for me which surprised me you know? He's normally so quiet and reserved but, he seemed a bit annoyed with Iida today. I don't know I'm thinking too hard about all of this." This was new for Ojiro he's normally not frazzled so easily but, he was comfortable and felt safe with them so his true personality tended to leak and mix with his school personality. 

"I think it's okay to think about this, could it be you might like him?" He blinked squinting his eyes at Shoji who was smiling. The big jerk. 

"I do not." He was unaware of his tail wagging conveying the very opposite of what he was saying.

"I think your tail is telling the truth." He turned to look and low and behold the traitor of a tail was wagging happily. The audacity. He grabbed his tail and decided to hold it to keep from any more mishaps happening. 

"Let's change the subject." He looked around real quick to see if anyone noticed and to his embarrassment Hitoshi saw and smirked before looking back down at his food and nodding along to whatever conversation he was having. 

"I think the feeling is mutual." He could just smack Hagakure. 

"I said to change the subject!" He let go of his tail allowing it to wag before it went still on its own. They took pity on his soul and changed the subject about miscellaneous things including classes and whatnot. Once lunch was over it was time for the rest of the classes and the final class of the day was heroics with All Might. He absolutely loved that class because just like most people All Might was one of his favorite heroes. He wasn't an All Might fanboy or heir like Izuku was but he did adore the man. He was the friendliest, kindest, and most genuine alpha to walk Japan who wouldn't be attracted to him in any shape or form? Even villains adored the man.

"Your partners will be listed on the screen! Once you guys find them, change into your hero costumes and meet me out on Ground Beta where I will tell you what you will be doing." Ojiro jolted quickly looking at the board for his name. That was the first time he zoned out thinking about heroes in a long time 

"I'M WITH THAT ICY HOT BASTARD!" He winced. He doesn't think that's the best idea All Might has had but, there had to be a reason. Before Bakugo can blow up something. 

"I heard you all the way outside Young Bakugo! As you can see I have paired everyone up with someone they are either not compatible with or have not worked together due to differences! I did this on purpose because in the real world you will work with people you don't like, you don't know, and don't trust. You will need help from those same people as well. This is where you learn to put aside your pride and ego in order to accomplish a mission. Then you can scream later on once the mission is done. Now HURRY UP!" Everyone jumped and left for the locker rooms. Bakugo was humbled enough that he just grumbled and his scent didn't permeate the air as much as it was when he learned he was with Icy hot. He really shouldn't be worried about them he was being paired up with Shinsou. Great. 

"Can't wait to work together partner." Ojiro jolted hitting the locker and turning to look up at the culprit. He was always so quiet and sneaky. 

"You know something. You're going to make one hell of an underground hero. You got the technique and skill for it." He turned away to hide his blushing face. He said all of that because he scared him but, he ended up overly complimenting him "I'm sorry I-" He went to apologize for making him uncomfortable but stopped at the look he was giving him. His eyes were wide, his mouth open and his cheeks flushed pink. "S-Shinsou?"

"That was the nicest thing someone has ever told me." He blinked. Oh? Really? He was never told something like that?

"Well...it's the truth. Your quirk is best suited for underground work like Aizawa sensei I guess that's why the two of you work together and he's basically your mom right?" Hitoshi stuttered.

"H-How did you-" Ojiro decided to be a little risky and put his hand on his chest feeling how fast his heart was beating. He got close to him to whisper so no one else can hear.

"Don't worry your secret is safe with me. The two of you work flawlessly and Aizawa is the best teacher. I can't wait for your debut, maybe we can work together from time to time after graduation yeah?" Ojiro left him stunned there and gave him space so he can calm his own racing heart. He did his best to ignore his wagging tail since it was a dead giveaway to how he was feeling.

"I-I, what, you, wow." Ojiro smelled the air as a soft lavender smell permeated the air. He didn't realize that he was smiling and swaying side to side softly. "You're adorable." 

"2 MINUTES TO MAKE IT TO GROUND BETA" The loud robotic voice over the intercom jolted both of them out of their stupor. They looked at each other with shy looks and grins.

"I think that's our cue to leave." He simply nodded as the two of them left the soft lavender smell never quite left and Ojiro still felt relaxed by the smell. He knew it was Hitoshi's and honestly? He can get used to it. They made it into Ground Beta where everyone else was. 

"I'm glad to see that everyone is with their partners now let's get to business. There are 20 of you, 10 pairs in total. There are 30 people who are out there who need to be saved in different areas. Each pair is to rescue three of them no more." He pointedly looked at Bakugo, Deku, and Todoroki. "And no less than that. This is for everyone to get rescue points and learn how to rescue someone. That can't happen if one pair decides to rescue 15 because they're in a competition." He once again looked at Bakugo 

"WHY ARE YOU ONLY LOOKING AT ME?!" 

"Because you are the problem and one of the reasons why we have so much unnecessary damage," Bakugo growled but said nothing else allowing All Might to continue.

"There are different disaster zones and each of you will be in the designated area. The watches I gave each of you will tell you which area to go to and to stay in. They have all been fit for each of your quirks. Good luck and goodbye." With a wave, All Might took off in the sky and left everyone to figure everything out for themselves.

"I guess this is our cue?" Ojiro turned to Shinsou who was in his personal space but, he didn't mind. He nodded and let him lead the way. He really liked his hero costume, it's new but neat. It was a black skin-tight body suit with purple lines and a black cape with a hint of yellow at the top. He still had his voice changer and capture weapon. Heavily influenced by Aizawa. Made him lowkey jealous of his own plain judo uniform/costume. He now wishes he would have put more detail into it. "You listening Mashi?" He once again spaced out.

"Wha- no, I'm sorry can you repeat what you said please." Hitoshi huffed with a light smile.

"I was saying we should head to where the broken bridge and water are. There's a person that needs to be rescued under it. Then we can head to the back alleys that's where the second person is and finally, the last person is in a dilapidated building that will fall if you breathe wrong." He filed all this information away thinking of plans as he nodded and followed his lead. The first person a.k.a dummy was easy to grab considering it was in a nook where only its feet got wet. That one was taken to the safe area. They then made their way to the second person and it was in fact a maze. They were a little tricky but Mashi spotted them hiding behind a dumpster with boxes in front of it. In real life that would have been the perfect spot to hide from a villain. 

"We ready for the last one?" Ojiro asked as they took the second person to the safe area and prepared themselves for the last one. 

"As ready as we can be." The both of them made their way swiftly to the abandoned building. It was in fact crumbly and looked as if it would fall if they even stepped near it. 

"I don't even know if it's safe to go in there." Ojiro got a hum of agreement as the two of them made their way inside cautiously. The ceiling was crumbling, along with the floor and every step they took made everything creak. 

"Okay, we got to be very careful. One wrong move and this thing is going down." Mashi nodded his head in agreement. They checked each floor carefully the only slip-up was when Hitoshi slid down a slab of concrete to the floor below but, was not harmed. They got together watching each other's back until they got to the top corner where the 'person' was. "Of course, they're in the most dangerous fucking corner." It was rare to hear the boy swear. It shouldn't have been attractive but it was. Hitoshi jumped across the broken floor, grabbed them, and was about to move back when the whole building shook. They both shared a horrified look.

"Fuck." If Hitoshi was going to cuss so was Ojiro the situation called for it. 

"Mashirao-" There was no time to think, Ojiro was looking at the way the center of the floor was caving

"Jump out the window using your scarf I'm right behind you." Hitoshi paused for a second before turning around and jumping out the window. Mashirao went to jump right after him but, the floor gave away and his world tilted and went black.

Ojiro woke up very achy and to the smell of antiseptic. He blinked away surprised to feel that he had no headache whatsoever but his back hurt a lot and so did his tail and legs. It felt like he was squished which was the case considering he failed to get out of a collapsing building.

"You're up baby boy?" He turned to the soft voice looking at Recovery girl. "You took a nasty fall and poor Hitoshi here was frantic. Refused to leave until you woke up and he knew you were better." Ojiro turned his head to the side to see said purple-haired boy sitting in a chair with his hand holding his. Why he didn't notice his hand was being held? "I'll come back to check on you once the two of you talked." He blinked watching as Hitoshi stirred opening his eyes a bit before focusing on him.

"How do you feel? How's your back? I was scared." The Alpha was giving off stress pheromones so in retaliation Ojiro gave off calming ones and they worked since Hitoshi slumped over into the bed "There was so much blood and I just-I forgot what we were doing- I can't have nothing happen to you, you're mine. I'm supposed to protect you, some Alpha I make-" All Ojiro got out of that was he wanted to be his Alpha.

"Y-you want to be m-my Alpha?" His omega was doing somersaults. So was his scent with the way it permeated the air. Hitoshi paused, blushing from his neck to the tips of his ears but turning to him with a determined look.

"Today 100 percent confirmed I need to stop being a coward and tell you. I like you Mashirao, at first it was friends but I want more. I can't stand the idea of someone snatching you up because I'm too much of a coward to make a move. We can figure out all the complicated stuff later once you're better but I need to know now. Do you accept my offer of being your Alpha?" This was too much for Ojiro to take in. He doesn't even know when they got on a first-name basis but, that was a thing now.

"I accept." Hitoshi let out a breath slumping completely over Ojiro. His pleased scent covered in and honestly? Ojiro was confused and they had to talk but, for now, he will accept the peace that they have right now.

You haven't gotten a lot of Non Quirk questions in a while, so I wanted to send one that I think would be fun. What do you think would be the favorite anime/series of each 1-A Character? I know Tokoyami would be a Jujutsu Kaisen fan, but the rest I'm not sure.

Can I just say how much I enjoy questions like these? It's always really fun to get questions unrelated to Quirks, especially more light hearted, character focused questions like these. I appreciate you sending this in and encourage more non-Quirk related questions. That aside, I will expand this to include manga as well. There are some choices on here that I think are perfect, but I know that certain animes aren't the best adaptation.

Sato: Food Wars. Maybe Toriko if you want something more on brand with him. I would say more about it, but that would imply there is anything deeper to read into with Sato.

Koda: Pokémon. There really isn't anything complicated about this choice. Just a fun, lighthearted series with wonderous creatures under the main character's control.

Mineta: Without question, it's Kill La Kill. He's actually one of the few people who are able to read into it on a deeper level and what it's trying to say but nobody believes him.

Denki: I don't know, Seven Deadly Sins? Kaminari just seems like he would be the most basic, go with whatever's is the most popular kind of fan, never really commiting to anything for too long.

Tsuyu: I think she would be into cute and happy series. Something light and fun that puts a smile on your face and could enjoy with other people around. Think something like Spy x Family.

Sero: Maybe Steins' Gate? He's on the same level as Denki, but it's usually more along with critics are going with then general audiences and at least takes some time to think about it.

Ojiro: Pretty much any heavily technical fighting anime, like Hajime no Ippo, but has a special place in his heart for Dragon Ball Z. Who knew that a martial artist with a tail would hit a chord with Ojiro?

Hagakure: I think her being into Sailor Moon would make sense. Something fun and flashy. I could easily see her using her reflective powers to do the whole Moon Prisim Power thing.

Aoyama: I could see him being kind of anime snob, being more interested in really old animes like Revolutionary Girl Utena or Rose of Versailles. Just something really pretty looking for his Bishonen soul.

Mina: Again, another character like Denki, but instead of focusing on shonen, she's more into whatever is popular with rom coms or slice of life, like Don't Bully Me Nagatoro or Dress Up My Darling.

Jiro: I honestly see her being more pulled towards the soundtrack of an anime rather then it's content. Though I do think she'd be interested in Cowboy Bebop with it's general "cool" feeling to it.

Tokoyami: He certainly seems like the guy that would be into the whatever edgy anime flavor of the month. First Death Note, then Tokyo Ghoul, and most recently Jujutsu Kiasen.

Shoji: He'd be into the Berserk manga. Just one of that people that reads super mess up stuff and is one of the chilliest people around. The only time he gets angry is when you mention any of the adaptations.

Kirishima: His favorite would be Gurren Lagann and there is nothing you can do to change my mind. It's just too perfect. That being said, if you want to pick something more ongoing, I'd say Jojo's Bizarre Adventure for obvious reasons.

Uraraka: I think she'd be into One Piece. I'm not sure why exactly I picked that out, I just think that she would like it. Maybe it's the mix of good, light heart adventures, lots of action and heart renching movement that makes me think she'd like it.

Tenya: Pretty much anything related to Gundam. I could see him being into the mechanics of the robots and the amount of stragy involved in the fights. Out of all of them though, his favorite would be the objectively best Gundam series: G Gundam.

Bakugou: Bakugou is both sides of the deep Naruto fan coin. He's simultaneously the guy that's actually reading into it and understanding what's it's saying, but also the obnoxious dude bro that talks about it like it's the greatest manga ever without question.

Shoto: It was honestly really hard to think of anything for him. He just doesn't seem like the kind of that would be into it. I was tempted on Fire Force for a joke, but I like the choice of Fruits Basket better. I feel like the complications of family and bonds would speak to him.

Momo: I was tempted to go with Doctor Stone, but I had to go with Fullmetal Alchemist. She's definitely one of those people who slaves over all the little details and themes in whatever she is watch, her face glowing as she talks about Elric's character and journey.

Izuku: I really wanted to pick One Punch Man for obvious reasons, but I think he'd be more pulled towards Hunter x Hunter. I think he'd especially be interested in the power system that's one of the few in all of manga that doesn't have to do with whatever you're born with.

I definitelyyyyy stole this from a fic, but one pretty neutral kiribaku exes idea i love is... kirishima being too much for bakugo/bakugo not being enough for kiri. Like, they really love(d) each other A LOT, but didn't work out romantically just bc Kirishima had/has a lot more emotional needs than Bakugo can really meet (like, he wants to go on more dates, talk about feelings, actually do PDA)... and the latter (at least when he's young) isn't comfortable being as outwardly affectionate...

so i can see them being on good terms after breaking up just because their relationship failing wasn't about not loving each other, but rather, knowing mutually that the other wasn't their perfect, romantic match and being able to get it out of their system.

Bakugo and Camie are also probably okay exes, not because bakugo is chill, but because camie doesn't make the situation awkward at all. they break up, and then 3-4 years later when she sees you both at a party (dating), she says hi and is SOO friendly that it's very clear she has no beef w/ bakugo, and that, by extension, makes all his beef go away, too.

And Kiri + Deku. Deku is probs a bad ex usually (his emotions just mess with things)... but w/ Kiri? idk. I can see them both taking it well cuz they're very similar so probs get whatever the reason is.

And Denki is def a good ex to anyone and everyone. Partially because he's tried to date the entire class, but also partially bc he's really just empathetic and Gets It when things don't work out. It's just in his nature to be friendly + understanding, plus, he has lots of experience. So whether he's dated Jirou or Shinso or both... if you ask him about it, its all "no hard feelings" answers, so they really don't have shit to say abt him, either.

Momo and Todoroki are def on the list too, just because they're so logical, you know??? They probs hardly fight in general, so if/when they break up, it's for a reason that makes perfect sense to them both and therefore causes no problems. (and Awase + Momo too. I just don't see him being mean to her, so i think whatever happens is respectful.

and idk who Tokoyami was dating, but he's a chill asf ex. He's just sweet so even if he's hurt, he gets over it quick and is so cordial about it. AND TETSUTETSU AND KENDO. they're those exes you're like... not even really sure ever dated bc they're so nice to each other. like really sweet divorced coparents sjdkfalsjhdk.

i'm def forgetting a bunch of charas, but HONESTLY THO, i feel like... given everyone went to school together/are heroes who probs often have to work with each other IN GENERAL, there's a pretty high percentage they'd all be relatively cool with each other (eventually) after breaking up (unless it was. Intense).

Being the darling of a whole class of yanderes isn’t as bad as you think. They all have their moments of being overly obsessed and protective of you but they still didn’t go too far.

It all started when you entered the class room a few weeks after school started. When they saw you they just knew that you were special. From the way you looked so flustered and shy, to the way your voice sounded. And how beautiful you looked.

Next thing you know the whole class is shouting at you and wanting to get to know you. You formed a special bond with each and everyone one of them over time.

The ones who have romantic feelings for you are: Iida, Bakugou, Kirishima, Izuku, Denki, Ojiro, Todoroki, Sero, Mina, Ochako, Jirou, Momo, Hagakure.

The ones who have a romantic feels but don’t like everything a “relationship” has to offer: Shouji, Tokoyami.

Then the ones who care for you above all else but in a platonic way: Kouda, Satou, Aoyama, Tsu.

The girls try to pull you away all the time because they can say“It’s a girl day and we trust them” and just steal you away from any of the boys. (If you’re a male that’s why they say they trust you)

Sleepovers every week because they get to spend the whole night with you. They feel like they can protect you while you’re with them. Also it’s just a fun night. Cuddle puddles always happen because they can’t keep their hands away.

The boys are a little bit of a different story since they like to break up into different teams or stay by their selfs. But they still have different takes on how they spend their time with you, either it be all together or alone.

Todoroki or iida take you shopping, or they do together. Sugar baby? Yes you are.

Shouji and Tokoyami like to take you out somewhere quiet and just have a small cute time.

Bakugou and Kirishima spend time with you together mostly to show off- Bakugou is okay with sharing but he still gets mad sometimes. And Kirishima is the only one he doesn’t get too jealous over.

The rest of the boys usually just only pair up if they want to do the same thing or if you want to hang out with more of them.

Sleep overs at the boys are also a little different, you usually are at one of their dorms. You only have big sleeps overs with the bakusquad boys, dekusquad boys, or the rest of them. Because it will get competitive very fast.

 Possessive. That’s it. You’re theirs in a way, so no one will ever take you away from them.

You get dragged away a lot from anyone else who wants your time. But sometimes they let it slide because it’s needed for you but they will all glare at who ever your talking to. They steal you away as soon as they can.

Like a pro hero, class b..they really hate them, teachers, some other students. Ext, you name it.

One of them stays outside on your balcony to make sure no one breaks in, or they put a camera out there. Not looking in on you because they know to give you privacy. Once you start dating them, one, if not more, of them is always in your room or you’re in theirs.

 Shielding you when villains attacked. Or when you’re out and about in school they are always with you.

What are they all like individually? (Doing the ones I might not do in other hc’s)

Kouda is the sweetest yandere you will ever met, He just wants to protect you and make you happy. You’re so sweet to him when you first met and he now make sure you’re happy. So he just likes to show you his animal friends because you guys bond over it.

Satou is also every sweet and I see him as a  affectionate person. Likes to pick you up in his arms and hugs you when ever he sees you. Just like Kouda in wanting to protect you and make you happy. Makes you sweets all the time and you guys bake together. Iida lectures him about feeding you so much sugar.

Ojiro is a chill loving baby, all he wants to do is protect you. He also will blush every time you are around him because he just can’t take how cute you are, making his heart rush. Is more of a quite type and will do his tendencies in the shadows. He can’t risk you finding out. But he loves to wrap his tail around you and make sure you’re okay all the time.

Aoyama, is your bestie. He loves to show off, himself or you. Hyping you up and telling you how beautiful you are and how your quirk is amazing (What ever it’s is, even if it’s small). Is literally just a very good friend! Face masks, giving you cheese…Just remember he is always taking pictures of you and him. Be prepared.

Froppy is like a protective sister. She protects you like family and wants to be around you. She loves to cuddle up next to you and just watch you shine. She also protects you from everyone else if she needs to! She will hype you up in small ways and is like the cute friend who just cares. But is also very badass when she needs to be, so if you’re ever in trouble she’s got your back.

Shouji is a big guard dog, who’s also a teddy bear? Yes. Stands behind you and stares at anyone to keep them away if needed. He also loves to hold you in his arms or anything you allow him to do. He is also every sweet and likes to make you laugh and smile. Please give him affection back.

Jirou is very chill, kinda. She likes to hang out with you but if you complement her she will shout down. She loves to do things just to get your attention, also loves to teach you how to play instruments just so that she can hold you close. Is more of your cute goth girlfriend.

Momo is mama bear and you’re her baby. She is a lot like iida. She makes sure you’re doing everything you can and at the top of your game. Buys you everything you need and even if you don’t need it, you’re getting it. Loves to show you off like her little precious thing and everyone else loves when she does it.

They are all obsessed with you so good luck.

Black Tourmaline- Does the yandere want to protect darling or harm them?

Do you have a list of who you think would?

Sure! But I feel like some of them would fall into some other categories so I will include that too. Something to note too is that I can see some of the protective yanderes possibly hurting darling as punishment or under certain circumstances, but I am going with only characters that would get some kind of enjoyment out of harming darling specifically for the harm list. Also I wasn’t sure what characters you wanted for this so I just wrote everyone I could think of.

Wants to harm darling:

Secco and Cioccolata- Kind of an obvious one. This is kind of their whole thing. They probably won’t kill their darling because it would end their fun, but any other way of making them suffer isn’t off the table.

Diavolo- He is one of the yanderes that might actually end up killing his darling due to paranoia and wouldn't even feel bad about it.

Melone- Would do it for sexual reasons of some kind. Also would probably force a darling that can to get pregnant to do so against their will.

The D'Arby brothers: Both of them would want darling's soul or at least want the threat of taking it hanging over them. They think it's cute when their darling is scared like this.

Mariah: Definitely has a sadistic side and might use her stand on her darling for fun or to mess with them.

Rubber Soul: Another yandere that thinks it's cute when darling is scared of him. He might put some of Yellow Temperance on them but withdraw it before it can do anything lethal. He would taunt them the entire time.

Hazamada: He would also hurt darling for sexual reasons. It would help him feel better about himself and he would get off on the power trip.

Terunosuke Miyamoto: Canonically sadistic and his entire stand is based around fear.

Illuso: I see him as sadistic.

Gwess: Also sadistic. Loves to watch her darling beg for mercy in a cute voice though, which might make her go easier on them.

Donatello: He would get some satisfaction taking things out on his darling.

Thunder McQueen: He would want his darling to die with him.

Tamaki Damo: He likes lording over people and seems kind of sadistic to me.

Miraschon: Would probably love to see her darling lose everything they possibly can and have that look of despair on their face when it's all gone.

Tamami Kobayashi: Has no problem hurting his darling and probably gets some kind of satisfaction from it.

Andre Boomboom: He's just a little bitch.

Lisa Lisa: Would probably be darling's hamon coach and would see it as a sign that she is challenging them. She wouldn’t hesitate to harm her darling or put them in danger if it means they are learning something. She would step in if it was getting out of hand though.

Joshu: He would sexually abuse his darling and he is a REALLY horrible person in general.

Rohan: I can see him having a sadistic side and wanting to put his darling in their place even if they are doing everything they can to make him happy.

Aya: Kind of similarly to Lisa Lisa, I think she would be the kind of yandere to hurt her darling if it meant bettering them in some way and would be happy to do it for this reason.

Akira: Another yandere that would think darling is cute when they are scared.

Magent Magent: Would probably hurt his darling just for fun.

Kaato: Is not above harming her darling and takes satisfaction in putting them in their place, but also takes satisfaction in it because she sees it as bettering them.

Keicho: Enjoys hurting darling because of the power trip it gives him, but tries to justify it with an excuse every time. Maybe darling wasn’t doing the dishes the right way. Or maybe they took a second to come downstairs when he called them.

Ojiro Sasame: Extremely sadistic. He would get off to bringing his darling as close to dying as possible without killing them.

Scarlet Valentine: Canonically sadistic.

Jolyne: Likes hurting darling because she sees their fear as a way to make sure they stay. If darling is too scared to leave then they won’t leave her, right?

Mike O: Would preemptively hurt his darling to show them how harshly he can punish them.

Daiya: Uh.....I don’t think I even have to explain this one.

Wants to protect Darling:

Jonathan: He never wants to see his darling get hurt. Extremely protective. It would take extreme circumstances to even make him think of hurting darling and he wouldn't even punish them with anything that isn't putting up more locks and things to keep them in.

Speedwagon: He would do anything to protect darling and would follow them around and stalk them to keep them safe.

Will Zeppeli: Would manipulate his darling, but would never even dream of laying a finger on them.

Dire: Loves darling too much to hurt them.

Straizo: Wouldn't even feed on his darling after he becomes a vampire.

Erina: Same as Jonathan. Even as yanderes these two just be like that.

Joseph: Seeing his darling being unhappy makes him upset. He would lock them away, but he would make sure he takes care of them.

Norisuke: One of the more lenient yanderes. He will punish his darling at some point if they push him far enough, but does not want to cause them harm. He is fine with hurting anyone that gets too close to darling however.

Prosciutto: He will boss darling around and threaten them, but wouldn’t want physical harm to come to them. He sees it as his job to protect them and take care of them even if he is mean to them while doing it.

Pesci: Wants a happy loving relationship with darling and would feel horrible if something happened to them.

FF: Again, loves darling too much to hurt them even if she doesn’t really understand it.

Giorno: Doesn’t want to harm darling and has no reason to. It’s almost impossible for darling to really escape him after all.

Mista: He will threaten to hurt his darling, but he would never act on it. Even if he tries to the bullets would refuse to let any harm come to them and would give away how he really feels.

Caesar: He is protective to the point where every else who tries to get too close to darling just seems to....vanish suddenly.

Karera: An extremely clingy and possessive yandere, but she would never want to hurt her darling.

Kars: He probably sees darling as fragile and helpless even if they aren't.

Whamu: Will do anything to protect the person he loves.

Esidisi: Just like Joseph, he doesn't like seeing his darling upset. He will also keep them close at all times and never let them out of his sight.

Santana: Has no reason to hurt his darling but every reason to hurt people he feels threatened by because they are getting to close to something that belongs to him.

Hato: She is fiercely protective of her darling to the point where she is paranoid.

Jogngalli A.: His darling is everything to him and he could never hurt them. He would keep them with him constantly so that he could have them for support, but also to make sure nothing happens to them.

Okuyasu: Would never hurt his darling, but would fight anyone who he sees as a threat and The Hand is still a powerful stand despite it’s user.

Suzie Q: Will kill anyone who is a threat to her relationship with a smile, but will be a sweetheart to her darling.

Jotaro: Would only hurt his darling as a last resort and even then he would feel extremely guilty. He will completely isolate them from the outside world though and might attack or kill people that even so much as think of finding them. Anyone who actually does manage to hurt his darling is pretty much dead.

Kei: Her main goal is to protect her darling. While she will hurt her darling as a last resort, she really doesn’t want to do it.

Polnareff: A himbo simp.

Vanilla Ice: Void simp.

Weather Report: Has no desire to hurt his darling at all.

Tonio: He just wants to make his darling happy and cook good food for them even if he has to protect them from everything.

Hol Horse: Wouldn't hurt someone he cares about but wouldn't hesitate to shoot the competition if he needs to.

Yuya: He loves all his partners and would do anything to keep them safe! Darling is no exception to this.

Holy (part 8): Sees her darling as an object that she wants to keep to herself, but because of this wouldn’t want to accidentally “break them”.

Hat Josuke (part 8): Would never try to hurt his darling, but wouldn’t show any mercy to people that want to.

Mikitaka: He would do everything he can to make his darling love him, but would never resort to hurting them, especially when he has ways to restrain them without causing them harm.

N'Doul: Darling probably caught his attention by being kind to him in some way, so he will replay that with undying devotion.

Koichi: Doesn’t want to hurt darling at all but isn’t above stalking them and trying to isolate them.

Holy (part 3): An EXTREMELY manipulative yandere, but she mostly just wants to take care of her darling.

Rikiel: Harming is darling would be a horrible thing to do and he would do everything he could to keep darling with him without hurting them. He might if he was forced into it, but only if he tried everything else first and he would try to make it up to them later in some way.

Oingo: He doesn't want anything bad to happen to darling. Even if he means he has to trick some people.

Anubis: Since his darling is probably his user, he quite literally wants them to use him to protect themselves and will gleefully make his darling cut down anyone that disrespects them.

Pucci: He either worships his darling or feels extremely protective of them. Either way he would never let harm come to them.

Imposter Captain Tennile: While he will lie to his darling, he won't hurt them. Blue Moon will probably follow darling around like a lost puppy and will bite people that come too close.

Steely Dan: Will make his darling watch as he hurts the people around them that "got in the way of what they have" and will make them cut everyone out of their life, but won't try to cause them any physical harm.

Cameo: I see him as yet another simp for some reason. Idk he just gives off those vibes.

Midler: So protective that she will kill everyone around darling so that they can be together and live happily without any problems.

Formaggio: He might think it’s funny to shrink darling and put them in a bottle so that they can’t leave, but he wouldn’t actually hurt them. He might threaten them, but he probably wouldn’t act on it.

Chaka: While he is paranoid and constantly on edge, he wants to make sure his darling is ok.

Squalo and Tiziano: Neither of them want to hurt darling and neither of them have any reason to. After all, they can’t go and get help if Talking Head won’t let them.

Diego: Darling is the only person he has left. He would die for them.

Yasuho: More of a stalker yandere, but will do everything she can to keep her darling safe.

Bruno: Will do anything to keep his darling safe and seeing them get hurt would break his heart. This can make him paranoid though and he is not above unzipping darling’s limbs to make sure they don’t try to leave. What if something happened to them?!

Dolomite: He just wants to have a happy life alone with darling. He wouldn’t want to do anything to cause them harm or upset them.

Blackmore: He will do anything for the person he loves, even if it means killing anyone who might possibly hurt them.

Josuke: I actually don’t think he would hurt his darling even with his healing abilities. He just doesn’t seem like someone that would like seeing his darling in pain even if that pain doesn’t last very long. But he wouldn’t be above nearly killing anyone that gets in his way before bringing them back from the brink with Crazy Diamond and possibly disfiguring them out of rage.

Aisho Dainenjiyama: Genuinely loves his darling. He would get really upset if they were hurt.

L.A. Boomboom: He wouldn’t even think of hurting his darling and he could probably use his stand to immobilize them without harming them.

Gyro: Will mostly be trying to win darling over and get them to love him. He doesn’t want to harm them unless he absolutely has to and he won’t enjoy it.

Mitsuba: She is too scared that her darling will leave her to hurt them.

A. Phex Brothers: Wouldn’t hurt their darling but also wouldn’t hesitate to kill anyone that gets in their way.

Doppio: He loves his darling so much that he is even willing to protect them from the Boss if he needs to. This will probably be done by trying to talk Diavolo down though and if the two of them have fallen for the same person, this might actually prevent Diavolo from killing them if/when he gets paranoid. Well...might anyway. But on the flip side he is really hard to escape from because he seems to always know when his darling is trying to leave and he is easy to develop stockholm syndrome for because of how well he treats his darling.

Trish: Probably wouldn’t hurt her darling. She would be more likely to resort to other means to keep them with her.

Wu: He is a cautious, manipulative, and paranoid yandere. He will slowly try to remove things from his darling’s life that might be hurting them or causing distress and will go to any length to do this. But it’s all to protect his darling and even if they find out what he is doing, he still wouldn’t hurt them.

Fugo: I actually don’t think he would enjoy hurting his darling. He might do it by accident, but he would feel horrible about it afterwards and hate himself.

Mountain Tim: He would never hurt the person he loves and would prefer to use his stand to tie them up.

Josefumi: Is very devoted to his darling’s well being and wouldn’t hurt them.

Jobin: His darling is one of the most important things in his life and he would resort to pretty much anything to make sure they are safe.

Anasui: THE KING OF SIMPS.

Both:

Avdol: He doesn't actively try to hurt darling, but he can't help how beautiful they are when he's using fire to restrain them. He will get really flustered and apologize as he treats their burns later.

Kakyoin: He wouldn't go out of his way to hurt darling and would ideally want them to love him back and be a perfect partner, but he would also enjoy watching them squirm as Hierophant forces itself inside their body as punishment. He might even get off to it while darling is forced to watch. He is also violently protective and has no problem killing anyone that he sees as a threat. Definitely one of the more terrifying yanderes for anyone that tries to approach darling or help them.

Narancia: He is more likely to hurt people around him than his darling, but if they piss him off enough he isn’t above doing it and wouldn’t be sad about it if it means darling just spends more time with him while they recover.

It depends:

Urban Guerrilla: Another canonically sadistic character, but only to humans. I don't think he would ever hurt his darling if they were another Rock Human. If they were another rock human, he would put them on a pedestal and worship them.

Dio: He is less likely to hurt an innocent or loyal darling that has gotten him to really open up and will be fiercely protective of them. But if his darling is more defiant and goes against him, he would be extremely sadistic and revel in absolutely breaking them in any way he can.

Kira: He would probably be tempted to take darling's hands off of their body at some point, but might not act on it since he can just kidnap them if they are extremely important to him and he is sure he won't get caught. He would prefer a quiet domestic life after all.

Ringo: He would probably have the desire to duel his darling, but would never act on it because he also doesn't want to lose them.

Risotto: He won’t hurt an obedient darling for any reason and will do whatever he can to keep them safe, but has no issues with punishing a disobedient one and it gives him an excuse to pick up his darling and carry them while they are recovering from the iron loss.

Miu Miu: If her darling is good she will be caring and kind to them. She will also give them warnings before using violence. But if they still continue to act out after that, she won’t hesitate to hurt them and will be ruthless until she thinks they have learned their lesson and will want to hurt them as much as she can.

Hot Pants: Another very vindictive yandere. If darling goes against her she will punish them harshly and take satisfaction in it, but they need to actually give her a reason to.

Wants darling to hurt them:

Abbacchio: Won’t hurt his darling and won’t even try to fight back if they hurt him after he locks them in without any escape. He will just sit there and take it. He knows what he’s doing is wrong and he deserves it. But he just can’t lose anyone else. Maybe if darling hurts him enough he might be able to forgive himself.

Devo: Wants his darling to hurt him because he is a masochist and will bait them into doing it constantly.

Other:

Ungalo: Doesn't really know WTF he is doing or what he wants aside from the fact that he wants darling.

Toru: A master at manipulation. He wants darling to fall right into his hands of their own free will. Once he has them he will keep them safe from everything while never even letting them know. He would prefer it if his darling never finds out what is going on behind the scenes. That being said, if this plan falls apart and darling starts poking around too much, Wonder of U is a pretty nasty stand and it will activate on it's own. It isn't that Tooru is trying to hurt them, but he is indifferent to it if they brought it on themselves by being too nosy. He doesn't want to hurt darling, but he also doesn't care if they accidentally get hurt either.

Yukako: Canonically has no problem with hurting her darling, but it doesn’t seem like she would resort to this if her darling does as they are told and hurting her darling doesn’t seem like one of her goals really, just a means to an end.

Ghiaccio: Won’t feel guilty if he hurts darling, but also just gets annoyed that they won’t listen to him and he doesn’t exactly enjoy it either.

Johnny: Like Toru, he likes to rely on manipulation to keep darling from leaving. He will use every trick in the book from gaslighting to guilt tripping. He is very effective with this, but if for some reason it isn’t enough he also won’t hesitate to injure his darling so they can’t escape anymore. He will be cold and indifferent about it at this point.

Wekapipo: Might use Wrecking Ball on his darling if they are trying to escape, but would probably try to make sure it doesn’t hurt them too much beyond giving them left-half ataxia. It’s debatable how much this counts as harm, but he would be indifferent to it.

Mamezuku: Very cold about everything including his darling, Will hurt them if he has to and feel absolutely nothing, but won’t really enjoy it either.

Dr Ferdinand: Probably wouldn’t harm his darling, but might turn them into a dinosaur for a while to stop them from leaving if he has to.

Yoshikage Kira (part 8): Will harm his darling, but again will do so in a very cold and matter of fact way. He doesn’t really feel anything when he does it.

Yotsuyu Yagiyama: He is willing to resort to anything to get his darling to stay with him and while this includes hurting them, I don’t think he would really enjoy it.
