Hey! So I ALSO have olive toned skin (Caucasian/very pale/its def a strong undertone trust me) and my first non-natural color i dyed my hair was green!

For me, it was better to do a deep forest/moss green, but even as it faded, I found it really liked the brighter green. When dying it, you definitely want to consider what other undertones are in the green and adjust accordingly. Like, there's a major different between lime green and deep dark teal.

For me, I chose to keep my roots dark that way my natural hair could grow in and create an ombre effect. I'm from a small town, and everyone is fairly Dutch with cool-toned skin, so I always look yellow standing next to people. If you're worried about looking sickly, then I'd definitely start with a fade-in look by dying the ends and blending towards your natural roots. Or you could do the peek-a-boo thing and dyed the hair you'd normally cut for an undercut.

I've added some pictures so you can see how it turned out for me! In some, you can definitely see that my skin looks yellow, but I don't look sickly lol.

The first one is of when I first dyed it (like I said, i went really deep forest green) and as it faded the darker roots helped balance out the brightness of the grassy green.

You know with how many of my faves are green haired girls, you’d think I’d have dyed my hair green at least once but I suffer from the curse of olive toned skin and I think having green hair would make me look sickly LOL

A shy and nervous Lacewing girl. Lacewings are one of my favorite bugs.

Occasionally I try and sketchy out what the sliding scale of bug anthro would look like for me. For me at least it is important that the arms and legs come out of the thorax, but I don't quite know where I want them to come out.

Mihawk is such a capricious dude, oh my god. The only dude you know who is always itching for a fight but only ever a specific kind of fight so he goes out of his way to take the path of least resistance for everything else.

Like he would rather leave than fight Don krieg, Sail away than decimate the marines, live in peace instead of challenging the other emperors for the one piece. And when they do he’d rather follow buggy’s idea of just being smarter about how they go about it instead of brute forcing it like the rest. He is constantly leaving fights but then a swordsman of mild repute and an interesting technique engages him in a battle and suddenly you have his whole attention. Like with vista it was obvious that he could have just cleared him like he did everyone else but he’d never seen the flower sword techinque and by god was he going to miss this chance. And so he engages him in what is essentially a spare.

Because Mans isn’t looking for a fight, instead, like a middle aged director of a short indie film, he’s chasing a feeling.

He wants to feel like his 19 year old self did when he was strong but there were people stronger. When there were still obstacles to overcome limits to exceed. When the world was large and exciting and he wasn’t just waiting for it to catch up with him. When he could look at Shanks as the person he is instead of the person he could have been.

He wants to look at Shanks and not see visions of a grinning red haired boy with 2 arms and a strawhat laughing in the dirt and asking for “just one more round Hawky I swear I’ll beat you this time”

But there is nowhere Mihawk can run that that boy won’t haunt him.

Ever since you shared your lovely mugs with me, the thought that Ran would get them as a matching kitty set for herself and Conan, wouldn't leave me alone. So I decided to embrace the idea; for both the headcanon and the personal touch.

Originally I planned something more silly, but the soothing vibes of my first sketch were just so lovely, I went with this instead (especially since I thought you might appreciate a bit of peace).
