I really hate a lot of the advice on the Internet about taming birds.

So much of it is literally "isolate your birds so they bond to you instead of each other" or "clip your bird's wings so it can't get away from you when it feels nervous." I'm no expert, but that's fucked up, man.

Was catching up on the news on CNN when i saw this:

How in the hell do yall only get 200 tips regarding the UHC Ceo shooting. Like, i can't find exact numbers, but 200 doesn't feel like a lot of tips, especially not for a case as sensational as this. People may have been joking that stitches weren't covered by their Healthcare, but we all should all be fine considering how few snitches there are.

Hey! So I ALSO have olive toned skin (Caucasian/very pale/its def a strong undertone trust me) and my first non-natural color i dyed my hair was green!

For me, it was better to do a deep forest/moss green, but even as it faded, I found it really liked the brighter green. When dying it, you definitely want to consider what other undertones are in the green and adjust accordingly. Like, there's a major different between lime green and deep dark teal.

For me, I chose to keep my roots dark that way my natural hair could grow in and create an ombre effect. I'm from a small town, and everyone is fairly Dutch with cool-toned skin, so I always look yellow standing next to people. If you're worried about looking sickly, then I'd definitely start with a fade-in look by dying the ends and blending towards your natural roots. Or you could do the peek-a-boo thing and dyed the hair you'd normally cut for an undercut.

I've added some pictures so you can see how it turned out for me! In some, you can definitely see that my skin looks yellow, but I don't look sickly lol.

The first one is of when I first dyed it (like I said, i went really deep forest green) and as it faded the darker roots helped balance out the brightness of the grassy green.

Haven't finished reading, but i spotted this, and I copied/pasted:

This is odd, seeing as Finding Vanessa is decidedly over, Spencer has been out of prison for a week, and it should be about fifteen days after Jack’s leg was amputated. (Vol. 2 p. 194)"

This contradiction actually isn't needed!

The timeline is still intact. Jack is a horribly unreliable narrator with one of his many known symptoms being the loss of time. Time still has no meaning to him physically at this point in the story (FFI delusion). Even I think events from three weeks ago happened a couple of days ago, a week at most.

"About a week ago" ranges from 2-20 days

If you haven't seen my previous posts, I've been going through the series and picking out every piece of information about the series that pertains to time for the last month or so. I got some stuff with ages, some stuff with locations, etc. in the process, but, to the best of my ability and barring inconsistencies in the text, I have put together a comprehensive timeline of all four books and both novellas. Below are two different documents: one with the raw data (information sorted by chapter and containing my own hectic notes, plus some more information I didn't find relevant) and one with the more complete, compiled version of everything. Comments are on. If you notice anything wrong or want justification for something, feel free to comment/DM me/send me an ask/reply to this post!

(I've also got one in the works trying to figure out the state they're in. That's a lot more difficult, given the specific rules of r/nosleep, where the blog was originally published, prohibit information on where the story takes place. Right now, I think they might be in Virginia. Don't quote me on that.)
