Temperament. Even as always, unless he has a migraine, then he's in his room the second he gets home. Dark and quiet. He gets hangovers from the alcohol, but the second he wakes up that mask is firmly back in place and he's good to go! 😃

Sleeping with a partner. ALL. THE. CUDDLES. Expect him not to let go. Like, pee beforehand. He may not be as big as his brothers, but he's still pretty damn heavy. You are HIS Angel. When he does wake up, his body has been conditioned to perform all the necessary morning tasks without him having to actually be fully conscious. Sit up. Grab freshly brewed espresso from desk next to cot. Shotgun espresso. Wrap joints. Stand up. Go to kitchen for second cup of coffee (because Raph has already brewed a pot, and because at some point in his teenage years, his father insisted on seeing him at least once a day). Make/drink coffee. Eat the closest edible thing. Go back to the lab. By this point, his conscious mind has usually kicked in and he can get back to work.

Sleeping with a partner. I hope you like to be lulled to sleep by computer fans! You'll get used to the phrase, "go and lie down, Dove. I'll just be a minute." It's always a lie. You know it. Bed. My guy is BIG, and needs a ton of support. A traditional flat mattress is uncomfortable unless he sleeps on his plastron which he HATES doing. Besides, he's in enough pain when he wakes up, and as much as he loves working out, he really doesn't want to have to do pushups first thing in the morning. Instead, he has a carbon fiber hammock that he wove himself. It hangs from a reach stacker arm modified with two lifting jacks bolted to the floor, all "liberated" from the shipyard. It supports all of him with the added benefit of pressure on all sides due to his weight, which helps him sleep, especially when he's in a low.

Temperament. When he's tired he's a grump. He's not quick to anger, but expect a lot of grumbling and begrudging acquiescence to things. He doesn't usually push it too far before heading to bed, because let's face it, pain is exhausting, and if he's laying down he's not having to hold himself up. He's not a "morning person," but he's usually okay as long as he knows there's a cup of coffee in his near future.

Routine. Pretty standard. Shower, teeth, etc. Once in bed, he'll mess around on his phone for a while, watching movies/tv/anime, before eventually falling asleep. In the morning, he rolls out of his hammock and heads to the kitchen for coffee with his Dad before everyone else emerges. After that it's his morning workout and he starts the day. Honestly the mostly boring/normal out of all of them.

Sleeping with a partner. He won't sleep in your bed. He just won't. Don't ask. He'll hold you until you fall asleep, no question, but he won't stay. The only hope for a sleepover is at his place. He likes to give you a big hug around the middle and roll into the hammock with you, and it always leaves you giggling as you snuggle up against his plastron. Then he'd have an 'outside' date which would be an aquarium or planetarium depending on what documentary you guys have watched recently.

I think this is probably another obvious choice but I think he'd have an 'at home' date plan in case the two of you were too socially drained to go out which would be a comfort movie you both love and take out with you both wrapped up in blankets and comfy clothes. You two would make a little blanket/pillow fort and he would have brought one of those galaxy projectors over as well to make the lighting more 'aesthetic' and cosy.

If it was an aquarium you two would take turns giving animal facts and laugh over funny-looking fish - comparing them to each other and your guys' family and friends - and if it was a planetarium you would hold hands the whole time (it would take him ages to work up the confidence and you'd see him inching his hand over to yours so you'd just reach over and hold his hand making his ears go bright red, noticeable even in the dark).

Afterwards, you two would go to a cafe and gush over all the new information and talk about which planets you would want to live on and which are more likely to have aliens. You'd go back to one of your guys' apartments and lose track of time talking about where you want to go next or what you want to watch next.

After he drops you back at your apartment, he would be all blushy and shy until he slowly leans in and gives you a little peck. He'd back off immediately and try and leave really quickly because he's shy and nervous about your reaction, so you'd have to pull him back and hug him and give him a kiss in return which would make him all smiley and even more blushy. He'd have his heart-shaped smile for hours afterwards and the others would tease him but he wouldn't care, he'd just keep remembering that *you* kissed *him*!

If it was a dog cafe the two of you would spend hours there, petting the dogs and learning everything about each other. You'd try and guess the names of each of the dogs and talk about what pets you want in the future, what you'd name them. Talking about your weeks and what you want to do next. I think after the cafe you two would go to a nearby park - not wanting the date to end and spend all afternoon wandering around, chatting about anything and everything and trying out all the food stands/small cafes you come across. As it gets later and gets colder, he'd offer you his jacket and then deny that he was now cold because he wants to stay out with you longer. You'd end up hundles on a bench sharing his jacket, trying to get more and more time together because you two just click so well and are having such a good time, making each other laugh and getting to know each other.

PC cafe. Or dog cafe. Yes these are once again obvious but idc. I think, so long as you like video games as well, he'd want to take you to a PC cafe. You two would spend the day laughing at each other's failures and screaming at each other when you get too competitive. He'd insist on buying all the drinks and food you guys get and he'd definitely let you win a couple of times (sometimes accidentally because he can't look away from you when you're smiling and he finds you so cute when you're fully concentrating).

When he, finally, takes you back to your apartment you two spend ages just stood by the front door because you don't want to stop talking. He eventually leans in and gives you a cheek kiss before wishing you a good night. When he tells the members they all laugh at him for spending hours just talking with you but he just laughs because he's so happy that you guys click so well. You make him laugh with your jokes and he loves flustering you because he thinks you're really cute when you get all shy and blushy.

Kim Seungmin

He'd hold your hand on all the rides, even the really small rides that you only agree to go on for a laugh and he laughs at you when you scream on the big rides. You two laugh at all the pictures that are taken whilst you're on the rides but you each get a keyring photo - you pick one from a tamer ride where you're both mid-laugh and smiling at each other and he picks one from the biggest ride you two go on where you're mid-scream, hair blown back and eyes shut. You whine at him when that's the one he picks but he kisses your forehead and calls you cute so you're too flustered to stop him from buying it. You guys also find a photobooth to take photos - you let him keep it and two years later you find it in his dorm room and he tell you he takes it on every tour he goes on because even though he has more recent pictures, that one is special to him because that is the day he realialised he wanted to spend the rest of his life with you. (You throw a pillow at him because you don't know how to deal with him being so sappy lolol)

I spent wayy too long thinking of different date nights Seungmin might plan - karaoke nights, arcade trip, cafe dates and shopping. However I think Seungmin would take you to Lotte World. For those that don't know Lotte World is a big indoor theme park and I think that Seungmin would take you there as it's lighthearted fun but with plenty of time to walk around or sit in cafes and talk.

He'd pick you up with a bag of your favourite sweets and then not tell you what his plans are! Jeongin definitely would have made a little list of all the places he wants you to see - you would start with a tourist trap destination, something like; Gyeongbokgung Palace, Namsan Tower and Myeongdong Shopping Street and then move on to the more hidden spots that locals like, he would take you to his favourite spot in Hangang park or the cafe that he's loved since he was a teenager, the photobooth that everyone forgets or the best place to people watch in the shopping centre.

At the end of the date, he drives you back home and once again kisses you on the forehead just to laugh when you complain that 'that's not a proper goodbye kiss'. He kisses your both your checks then your nose until you sigh in amused-annoyance and pull him in for a proper kiss.

I think Jeongin would take you sightseeing, especially if you haven't been in S.Korea that long.

You two would talk a *lot*. He's not one for PDA - he does like displays of affection and skinship but he prefers it to be kept private - but occasionally he'll walk too close to you so you're shoulders and hands brush against each other. He thinks he's being really smooth but his ears are bright red and he keeps sneaking glances over at you. He has loads of little stories that make you laugh at each location he takes you to - some are about the members and others about his family and school friends but each is hilarious and lets you get to know more and more about him. He's really attentive as well, constantly asking for your opinions or asking about your friends, family and co-workers - he wants to know everything about you and wants to make sure you know that he's interested in what you're saying.

He does kiss you goodbye and he also hugs you as well - that's the thing that makes fluster as you know he's not always the biggest fan of physical contact - telling you he had an amazing day and can't wait to see you again.

Phone ban rant ahead, call me entitled or whatever idc

The phone ban is not a surprise to anyone, Tobias has told us about this for a while, but it still doesn't stop me from hating the choice to do it. I don't want to hear the whole "back in the 90s before smartphones" schtick again from people that go to the concerts and don't seem to understand that more is going on on-stage than just that one spot they've been paying attention to. It makes me doubly upset since this is a brand new era, and we're all experiencing the new lineup with the new Papa and even the new ghoul we've seen in promos for the first time, but there will never be the proper documentation that actually brought 90% of the fans here in the first place. The videos they're putting out aren't remotely good enough for this, and the way they edit the exit interviews is really telling considering there's only people talking about how great banning phones was, like it's some revolutionary achievement.

A professional recording that isn't certain we'll get each tour is never going to capture all the times and various ways the lead character loves on their chosen ghoul, or all the goofy antics Swiss gets up to (hell, he was barely doing anything in RHRN when we also had fan footage from other venues where he was going nuts), or anything else of actual note. We're going to get footage of a panning camera 40 feet above the stage and cuts to random unremarkable closeups or side-stage cameras. They won't capture what we want to remember and share and pass on to possible future fans.

These moments will be forgotten about.

Politics in the US are fucking scary right now. I'm not gonna sugar coat that. I'm fucking scared. But in an attempt to keep myself from panic-DMing all of my international friends and mutuals to see if any of them can smuggle me out of this hellhole, here is a running list of things that I'm going to try to do for myself and you can do, too. (Please reblog with any further ideas for keeping sanity in whatever the hell it is we're living through right now)

Self-Care. First and foremost, I need to calm the fuck down. Nobody ever made smart decisions when in a panicked frenzy. If I get to feeling like this, I'm going to attempt to give myself a day to not think about it. Watch some TV, play some video games, go for a walk, do literally anything but scroll on the internet and let myself feel worse and worse over this shit.

Stay Informed Responsibly. It's so easy to just see bad headline after bad headline and feel hopeless, but I've found that only really serves to make me spiral like this. I find that influencers and youtubers like Leeja Miller and allie_202_ who share the news alongside direct action items are helpful. These two also balance their bad news out with good news (or at least, less bad news) which helps. I plan on rewatching Leeja's Is It Time To Leave The US? video tonight to help remind me where I stand and hopefully break me out of this fight of flight (apparently my answer is flight) response.

Gradually Take Action. I keep kicking myself for not taking action and I think it's because it all seems so overwhelming. There is so much to do and I'm prone to all or nothing thinking so if I don't do all of it, I feel like I've already failed so I just end up doing nothing. I want to actively break out of this. I want to try to add one action item to my to-do list every month. Hopefully, as I add more, they'll seem less scary and I can build up to adding items every week or so. But I want to set my expectations small so that I'm less likely to fail right away and give up

Build Community. I want to build community and solidarity with other people who feel like me. Who feel like it's all just too big or too much right now and are sick of feeling helpless but are struggling to actually take action. I want us to be able to come together and celebrate each other's wins. Like hell yeah I called my senator today even though I was terrified to do so! Whether this community takes the form of a discord server or something or just the notes of this post, idk and idc. I just want to stop feeling alone.

Like I said, this is an incomplete list. I'm hoping to add to it and I would love to see others add to it as well. I'm just trying really hard not to lose my mind right now. I don't want to run away. I want to fight for my home. But I am so scared right now and I recognize that if I let that fear bind me, then I'm no use to anyone. For my sake and the sake of my community, I want to get better. I want to get better so I can fight.

here's the thing

When i was a kid, i ADORED watching LDShadowlady (still love her, although i generally don't watch mcyts anymore), and she's like an idol to me.

When i grew up a little, i was watching the dsmp (yes, hate me all you want for my likes idc, i wasn't one of the crazys) and I really liked Technoblade, Tommyinnit and Ranboo. I still follow them, though as i said, don't watch as frequently.

Yesterday, my mom and aunt were discussing how ridiculous it is to watch people play video games, saying 'just play the games yourself' or 'where's the satisfaction? It's someone else's accomplishment' and other things like that

And then i realised - it was never about the game. It was about the story.

Shadowcraft 1 and 2.0 were absolutely wonderful to watch. I loved it because of her charisma mostly, but you can't deny that it had interesting lore and such.

Empires, 'insert number/word' Life series, Hermicraft, Dream freaking SMP, and for the sake of nostalgia series like Stampy's Lovely World, Stayceplayz and Squaishy (i think that's their names, i haven't watched them in years) and their Cake Island in space (or whatever it was, those who know will know)... They all have LORE.

In it's core, all these people playing Minecraft are telling a story. And it's not some shit story, no it's meaningful and fun and interesting. These are people born to create, born to tell stories, but maybe don't have the gift of being amazing writers or directors or never got the chance they should've. YouTube and Minecraft were ways to express yourself, share a piece of yourself and your work with the masses without needing to be published or hired to write.

You wouldn't shame directors or actors or writers for doing the same exact thing. So why shame these people? What have they done that's wrong?

Just like a director, you choose how it'll all look. You produce your own sets, and costumes and have actors. In it's core, it's all an indie movie/series.

The older generations don't realise that what some people you don't consider artists do almost the same thing as people you shame and call 'attention seekers' (yes, mom, I'm looking at you)

Everyone: YouTube is such a garbage platform! It only cares about ad money and exploiting creators, and they have frankly draconian rules about what you can say or show, and sometimes even if you follow all the rules you'll either lose your money and viewerbase to demonetization, and there's basically no way to fix that unless you are a huge creator who makes a massive stink about it on Twitter, or to the algorithm just deciding your videos aren't worth promoting anymore. I hate how many ads there are too, 2+ prerolls, midrolls, and ones at the end?? Tons are unskippable and they often contain triggering content with NO warning. And like, half the sponsorships are for corrupt scams and full of lies. And ugh the switch to prioritizing short from content is fucking over anyone who doesn't want to make discount tiktoks. Plus they're trying to stop people from using adblocker in fucked up ways. And on top of all that Google is just straight up evil. YouTube really does suck these days :/ I feel bad for the creators I love who are stuck using it.

Watcher: YouTube was a good place for our shows at first, but as you all know if you want to make money here you have to compromise the types of content you want to make to please the algorithm and advertisers, and we don't want to make content for them, we want to make quality TV shows for and supported by our viewers, so we can grow and offer even more, much higher quality stuff, so it's time to open our own independant streaming service. It's as cheap as we can make it, and we also want to give our fans more control and so there's a deal if you sign up now where you get 30% off for the first year and can vote on our next show, plus we will never implement any measures to prevent account sharing, one person can share with whoever they want. We're still going to upload trailers and premiers on YouTube, and we will NOT be deleting anything that's already up here. We hope you can support us, because it's your support that matters to us more than anything else.

OH MY GOD I'M SO ANGRY

Nobody probably listens to ytcracker, but I'm a big fan of his "Introducing Neals" concept album. Basically it tells a story of a cool hacker which fights against big corporations for internet neutrality and privacy (smth like that yk, and it's still relevant 🤔).

This project was going to be huge because some animation studio was making animated clips for some songs. They probably wanted to make a whole animated movie. But that was about 9 years ago. I guess they ran out of money and cancelled the project. Too bad.

But look what they managed to make. That's a very nice animation actually. I really want to share the first two clips so here they are:

BUT YESTERDAY IT WAS 10 YEARS ANNIVERSARY OF THIS ALBUM AND THIS CHANNEL POSTED TWO VIDEOS CALLING THEM "FULL MOVIE". I immediately clicked only to see THIS AI GENERATED TRASH.

I'm not even sure if anyone still remembers this project, nobody cares. BUT NO. I'm so disappointed I want to cry. I love this album so much, it inspired me to draw fanart for it, it is also the main inspiration source for my clone high cyberpunk au, I listen to this album very often to feel the specific vibe from it, I even have a whole ass google document with the plot analyze of Introducing Neals. Ytcracker is a good artist too, I love his other songs.

And this, as i said, is just disrespectful. I wrote about that in the comments, idc if it gets deleted by authors who sat on their asses for hours writing ai prompts and not giving a single fuck about the album. I'm mad.

I think they happened to be going after the same thing, at the same time, and hoo boy do they not get along lol. Turns out Carlotta (telling Dexter her name is Vera Cruz. He does not believe her) had agreed to steal the whatever-it-is in exchange for an under-the-radar trip somewhere else.

They make a deal: Dexter gets her there, and he gets to keep the prize. Yay, roadtrip!

Some time passes after that (during which they continue to see each other) and many months later they discover oops they made a Carmen

Dexter begins making his much longer trips away from VILE (wanting to support his partner with their unborn kid as much as he can) and starts the process of leaving. When Carmen is born, his trips away get longer and VILE finally catches wind of what's happening, and you know the rest.

definitely shares a lot of personality traits with Carmen. Even just from what we saw during Shadowsan's flashback, they are so so similar :( The two combined chaos energies probably would've driven Carlotta up a wall lmao

woulda been a fantastic girl dad. this man would have sat thru tea parties and played barbies with little Carmen and LOVED IT

probably also a very high energy/troublemaking kid, like Carmen

As much as he'd hate he couldn't be there for Carmen when she was growing up, I think he'd be glad she at least had Shadowsan looking out for her :)

its probably been said before, but Carlotta definitely started up the orphanage in Buenos Aires hoping Carmen would end up in it at some point.

Carmen inherited thief skills from both parents idc. Carlotta definitely gave Dexter a run for his money lol

looks a lot like carmen, but with green eyes instead of gray, and more brown hair than Carmen's red/auburn.

also the parent carmen got her freckles from (BC Carmen had em when she was little, and she spent a lot of time out in the sun!! I will die on the Carmen having faint freckles hill dangit!)

Upon reuniting with and getting to know Carmen, she's very much reminded of Dexter. She'd be all too happy to tell her stories of Dexter.

was initially terrified of what Dexter would think when she told him they were gonna be parents, but was quickly reassured when the next time Dexter came back from VILE he had armloads of baby stuff from around the world.

Probably has a big extended family but after Dexter's death and Carmen disappears, she gets distant with them. After reuniting with Carmen though, accidentally runs into a family member with her and they're like "wait is that her?? She's alive??" and just like that Carmen has managed to acquire ANOTHER family lol.

Absolutely thrilled to learn Carmen wasn't alone all those years and immediately just adopts Zack, Ivy, and Player lol

Probably a little hesitant about Shadowsan at first, given that he was supposed to assassinate Dexter and did actually take her daughter to VILE, but eventually they're chill and he tells her stories of Black Sheep's antics. Meanwhile Carmen is in the background begging him not to lol.

I think once she got over her distrust of Shadowsan and got to know him, and sees how close he and Carmen are, she'd be glad that he was there for Carmen when Dexter couldn't be.

ARGHSH I have plans for them in many AUs lol. I'll get around to actually enacting em someday XD
