had an identity crisis, prime time for a slight sona redesign!

it's cow! (again!)

+ a closeup because i'm really proud of the eyes

#i felt really extremely disconnected from cow and was like welp. time to make new fursonas #and made like four drafts before drawing cow with short hair and going 'oh.'#i ...... just need a hair cut. so i gave my fursona a haircut while i'm waiting to go #fucking. #eye strain #cw eye strain #tw eye strain #ralsei #deltarune #i'm in a new era of my art style where i just outline everything in white pencil and think it looks cool #every time i add them i do a victory nod twice at my computer like an old man who just hit par in golf #anyway bright colors hi - i noticed that i tend to default to neutral colors and stay as far away from hues as possible #when i first started digital art i saw someone say to NEVER use the upper right of the HSV picker and i guess i took that to heart #in retrospect that was bad advice; dull colors are safe... but they're still dull and it's good to practice using bright colors too #so here's a hard pivot in the complete opposite direction of my normal work haha #it was fun! but i did have to use a few correction tools to un-muddy my colors so i think i'm gonna do this one more time #you might think the caption is cool and ominous but really i stole it from temmie village #rich history of tem provides plenty of quotable sentences #also! i think i want to reblog my work onto my alt a day after it's posted #i haven't decided for sure but am thinking about it... if you think that'd cause too much clutter though lmk!

#what a year #ive never compiled it neatly before #i was gonna wait it out cuz i havent finish my Christmas pieces yet but im also like ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh fuck it so yeah hehe #this year I’ve expanded my socials to bluesky and instagram #I’ve always did two collabs this year which is still wild to me (im planning to do more next year hopefully)#(if my social anxiety can just get over it)#in tappy’s voice: gomz no balls #i also need to do more color piece #launching ☕️ this year has helped to do that #to do at least one colored piece each month #i have a video of me going thru my doodles from January to December in the works but i think i might not able to finish it on time #we’ll see #still gotto tackle the last few ☕️ requests after con #this year I’ve drawn a lot more Price!! that’s why he’s the main character this year #i would put Raven but she’s always a main so #im really happy to have found a nice chibi style and stick with it #consistency is always a struggle for me esp with my non chibi style #some of what i drew this year was awful HDJSHSHS but its nice seeing progress #December suit Price is my proudest non-chibi work and I wish to continue that style next year #moving forward I want to continue to improve and do better but also take it easy #burnt myself out too many times this year due to drawing nearly every day + stress + uni #stress management plan is needed but i SUCK at it #me as a pharmacy student counselling patients [it is important to try to relax and manage stress properly]#what a joke JDJDHDHHD #at least my blood pressure readings stabilized finally on gawd it was on the borders for a few months #it’s been a fun year and I’ve made a lot of new friends too #drabbled in a few fandom and community here and there #thank you for having me everyone :)#gummmyart #art summary 2024

When you go on walks, what’s your favourite part? Mine is when I find one of the rivers or small streams nearby my house. Or when I get to meet some new dogs- or when the temperature is just warm enough to bask in whilst the trees are rustling because of a strong breeze. Maybe my favourite part is the walk itself, I like walking places. Problem is I always need to have a destination in mind.

the weather is getting nicer so its the best time to go outside and poke around for some new visitors ^_^

#i think i overdid it drawing this but i havent drawn birds in so long that it was a nice exercise....#actually im thinking of resuming my mspaintbirdies blog.. unfortunately my tablet is ass and i dont like the new ms paint #so ill probably use procreate.. does this mean i would have to change the url...????#idk if i wanna go with this style or use flat colors.... theyre both good and i wanna switch between them but i also want consistency #i did paint a mandarin duck for a school project with flat paints but its much harder so ill probably have to play around with it #we get dark eyed juncos in the winter here and goldfinches in the summer.. ive been meaning to visit the conservation area #more often bc there are more species there like nuthatches and chickadees. maybe i can rent a camera for photos #but id really love to visit vancouver again especially since they have stellers jays there. theyre one of my favorites <3 #ask #answered #doodles #birds #yapping #sona #puppysona
