Jason also loves simple domestic things, he never grew up with them. Never had anything close to a "home" not a house, a "home. You give that to him. Someplace where he can breathe, be happy and in love.

Fight? haha no way. I mean yes jason explodes sometimes and runs away from expressing himself. And ofcourse you worry for him . He also is super jealous and insecure. So misunderstandings happen. But since you are so loving, patient and openly infatuated with Jason, its really rare that you actually fight. Maybe in the beginning of the relationship but after that almost never fight

Jason could never hurt you, he wont. its his biggest fear . And the moment a single tear comes to your eyes or u get really upset , he drops everything and then you're the priority. Noone hurts you, not even him .

I think you and Jason after a couple years will just leave all that vigilante stuff behind and jason becomes a nice literature professor and you pursue your own dreams. also start a nice way of helping out homeless kids and rehabilitation of substance abusers . i like basically every ship with ethan! it mostly depends on the mood im in, but if im being honest, mithan, winterfield, and wintersberg gets frustrating to think about because they all dont treat ethan well canonically... lethan is fun because they have never met and i can make my own assumptions!

i used to like wintersberg the most and i still do like it, i just have expanded my horizons to other ships as well...., its mostly like a punchline to me though. they have the funniest potential which is why a majority of their posts is just joke comics. i do not like how people try to erase how karl is arrogant and egotistical tho. thats like removing the flavor.... the way karl acts is just very funny to me, hes so lame in a good way and i like how everytime he talks to ethan it sounds like hes twirling his hair and kicking his feet. canonically speaking, karl was very much in the wrong for trying to use rose and not elaborating and i will die on this hill. ethan is not in the wrong for being disgusted and angry that karl would ever try and propose that in the deal. karl is very arrogant so when ethan says no to him it makes him mad and he tries to use fear to get ethan to take his deal (kicking his chair and warning him) i like karl, i like how messed up and arrogant he is but i dislike how people try to portray him as a nice guy. however, in a AU where everythings the same except he doesnt try to use rose i do enjoy the dynamic they could have, especially if the teamed up (not with the deal where they use rose. ethan wouldnt agree unless karl never involved rose in the first place). karl is just a very entertaining character and i like him a lot, hes funny and his personality can be extremely hilarious

mia and ethan is pretty tragic and thinking about it too much makes me a bit sad, imo in a reality where ethan survives re8, he needs to divorce mia. im not saying ethan needs to hate mia and never talk to her again i just dont think they should be so intimate together because of her behavior... please do not take this as anti mia. they loved each other dearly but it wasnt healthy. their relationship was kept afloat by lies and mia doesnt change even though she deals with the consequences of her own actions in re7. she actively tries to hide her past from ethan and is mostly focused on trying to move on and have a normal life even if ethan will have to live the rest of his life in the dark.

she loves her family so much, shes very afraid of them leaving her so she hides all the bad things in the hopes that they wont leave. its selfish, its human, its real, her character is so amazing and i love her. she doesnt learn from re7 and hides important information from ethan again. i geniunly think they should have gotten divorced after re8 if ethan had survived. its tragic and its sad but they love each other so much. it sad because they both geniunly love rose so much but they themselves shouldnt be together. its just sad to think about it. whenever i draw them it usually takes place before re7. they should have divorced on good terms and shared custody of rose.........

ethan and chris is also frustrating to think about... chris is a major jerk in re8, whenever i draw it, its under a unspoken AU that chris did not behave the way he did in re8. his weird behavior in re8 is probably for a meta reason imo. capcom wanted to set up a twist villian so they make chris very vague and unesscarily cruel. while its frustrating that they turned chris into a jerk for the sake of a twist, it still happens in canon and i will forever roll my eyes whenever i see him on screen. he did what he thought was best but imo, execution matters more than the intentions. same applies to mia. they both did things that hurt ethan because they thought it would be the best but in the end they just hurt ethan.

all the ships ive discussed with people ethan has met canonically just makes it look like i dont even like the ships... LOL ... ethan just has horrible luck with the people he meets i guess... but i do enjoy the ships and drawing them, but again all of them come with the canon baggage that ends up making me sad because everyone treats ethan poorly whether they had good intentions or not

which is why leon and ethan is the most fun to draw without getting stressed... LOL... they have never met but just drawing what i think their dynamic would be like is very fun.

please dont take this post personally, this isnt a post declaring why ur fave ship sucks, this is just my own personal preferences and in the end i draw all of them anyways

because i love it duh! i want to use this comic to express just how aggressively that song and fanfic captured my imagination. a love letter to edgy "grimdark" fics that i never grew out of!

this story will involve all the parts of the original that made it Rainbow Factory, but it wont be a retelling of that same story. i like to think of it as a "remix" because it takes the concept of the rainbow factory and all the cool stuff about the pegasi and spectra and spins it into a different direction (which hopefully turns out to be interesting...)

that also means that none of the events that happened in the original fanfic happens here, unless stated so in this story!

(however, i will say that this story sticks closer to the lyrics of the songs, rather than the fanfics by the original author. and none of the sequels of the original fanfic are important to the lore of this story)

just because you cant get hurt doesnt mean shes not going to fuss over you. if there were a need for it i think she would keep a pack of Band-Aids on her. however, because you guys cant get hurt in that way, she tries to keep you in bed when you inevitably get knocked a little too hard and need to rest it off. dont even think about trying to get up out of bed, shes going to give you this stern look that only a few percentage of people can muster.

Things I brought today (mostly at the SE exhibition) and some opinions about the whole experience

I couldn’t get everything I wanted I over estimated how much cash I’ll need to have with me so I’ll probably will go again tomorrow

Which is the last day so I need to go early…

I also couldn’t get that one frame magnet I wanted…volume 5 my dads….no… I’ll….I have no choice but to get the whole set just to get them guaranteed cuz I cant go back to the shopping area onceI exit the shop 😭

And its all sold out in the second hand listings on mercari jp ,…hope the whole box is somewhat affordable

Also I got the kid ,liz and patty shikishi as you can see and I only hope to get soul and maka tomorrow cuz its so expensive on mercari I wont be paying 3000 yen just for a shikishi no waaay

I got the only cute exhibition keychain because ohkubo gave them very questionable angled illustrations which didnt translate well in merchs in my opinion ESPECIALLY on the acrylic stands they look nightmare fuels, but crona is fine (I sense some favoritism ngl) patty was cute too actually but I was on a budget

Anddd I got the badges from blind bags so its all gacha I like crona though Im happy and I will give the tsubaki one to a friend.

There were two entry tickets one was 2500 yen as standart

And the other was 3000 yen with limited goods which was this wristband , I think for 500 yen more it was worth it I might get another one tomorrow with entrance its high quality and soft

Lastly if you brought anything over 5000yen total you get this bag, but you wont get a double for every 5000 you buy, quickly learned since I spended around 11k with some goods I picked for my friend, so if anyone is interested in going to the Osaka venue, just so you know if you go with a friend you may wanna pay separately if you want a bag for every each one of you

Also tip from me: dont be stupid like me and bring more money with you if theres something you want that is not guaranteed and is in a blind bag…cuz the chances of you getting lucky is not reliable and if you are as desperate as me you’ll pay for another entrance😭😭😭

Especially cuz you cant go back there if it turns out you didn’t get what you wanted, you’ll need another ticket so…buying the box seems more worth it (only if you need and want something absolutely that you’ll go that far) (actually its not a super big deal for badges and limited shikishi boards and cards since there aren’t many designs. But the mangets…they have 16 designs so it is pricey)

Now as for the exhibition hall itself, most things were okay to photograph and its consisted of mostly manga panels and official arts,there were cool cut outs and giant volume covers on the walls. seeing the panels upclose was interesting especially cuz I do comics as well and aspire to do it professionally in the future

But I guess the coolest experience is that they fully voice acted a certain chapter from the manga (didn’t finish it yet so I don’t know which) but it was so cool cuz it was all newly voiced (manga only duh) and the visuals were in a dynamic video edited pretty well, there were some live 2d just a little but it was there, it was not allowed to film that there which gives me hope that they will upload it to socials after the exhibition fully ends nationwide. But you never know

(italso gave me hope for a possible remake but I don’t wanna get my hopes up)

Anyway I might make a google drive with everything I took pictures of later , Im kinda tired today

but I wanna say to those who have high expectations for this exhibition

don’t expect something revolutionary.unfortunately it was mostly manga pages displayed (the giant official art were cool though cuz you could see more details of them) and as for props, aside from some decorations hanging from the walls and cielings here and there there was a shinigami sama cut out and the mirror, but thats about it) so definitely a little underwhelming for a 20th anniversary exhibition , at least from my expectations

I enjoyed it because I like Soul Eater and Im pretty hyperfixated on it right now, but that doesn’t keep me away from criticizing it and I do just that CUZ I LIKE SOUL EATER

there were so many things they could do and honestly for 20th anniversary it was pretty small and the exclusive merchandise was just… meh??? especially the illustrations made specifically for the Exhibition itself (which wasn’t even that much just the main 3 duo/trio’s) Honestly I have to say Im quite disappointed with Ohkubo it seemed like he didn’t give his all designing the illustrations. they didn’t even performed well as various types of goods and ,sure, he made a design and its not that bad , but he could at least draw them again with no weird angling that only looks okay in a promotional poster, aside from that, you know the magnets are made from previously made official arts and manga covers, there were some cool stuff like kid’s skateboard and Soul’s jacket but those are made to order and you can’t even get them there at the time,

NOT TO MENTION THIS SUPER COOL ART WAS NI WHERE TO BE FOUND AT THE GOODS SHOP IT IS A MISSED OPPORTUNITY TO ME!!

The nuis are cool it was well overdue I hope they will make more characters in the future they should capitalize on them a bit more

Tote bags , hoodies and such were something to be expected from exhibitions like this Im not really impressed but they were nice as designs

But my opinion is set, they could’ve done so much more for this exhibition and it was a little underwhelming so only consider attending if you like to see official arts and manga panels up close, and if you like to interact with very limited props and watching the exclusive manga voice acting (to me that alone is worth to visit ngl) and of course the goods, only if you’re interested in

I do some theories why this exhibition was the way it is I mainly think, the budget was set and it was not much to do more than what we got especially considering the made to order goods, but it gives me hope, even after 20 years I think Soul Eater as a series is still profitable and I hope this exhibition does well enough for the higher ups to consider making more things in the future

I've realized i've been talking about my comic the chained circus for quite some time but barely explained whats it about what characters are in it and overall how it'll look so heres a post explaining what The chained circus or TCC comic is!

Since last year i've been meaning to make a comic using rubberhose public domain characters, before steamboat willie came into the public domain i planned to make a very diffrent plot based comic that was suppoust to be a "fan" work and looking back would probably end up too big for me, but with steamboat willie free now i've decided i'll try to not break any trademarks or copyrights and make an plot-gag oryginal comic

the characters are based on their already known counterparts and there is inspiration taken from comics and shorts that still belong to the walt disney company and dreamworks inc. however the characters arent the same, there are many things changed about them role wise, design wise and characterization wise, at first I aimed to have them be as close to their most popular characterizations but then i realized that I had perspective on some of these characters others do not have and after few nights spent looking at the wall intensly and thinking I decided to do what I find the most fun and intresting despite it posibly not being a take everyone might enjoy or find "accurate" it is a take I put lots of love and hope into

indie works have been a big intrest of mine for years and public domain made me see some real gorgeous stories with lots of work put into them from other other small artist, what I admired the most about them is how the characters often got re-written in ways that would not even be looked at in corporate workspaces, and after slowing things down I looked at my own work from an outsiders perspective and asked myself "why shoudnt I write them diffrently to how they were written before?" and the only answears that I could think of made me feel more like a executive breathing down an artists neck rathen than the artist

while I understand my takes on characters in the story might not be everyones cup of tea I like them and genuinely have fun with them and must ask everyone reading this who do enjoy already existing takes on all of these characters to at least give my works a chance and look at them for a moment even from the corner of your eye

Whats the comic about?

Its about toons that at their lowest [or stupidest] decided to sign a contract with a shady ringmaster simply referred to as "MR" the toons are now stuck working for him as entertainers at his circus...a very porly managed circus, MR is not the brightest and while not truly evil he is quite stupid, that mixed with his greed leads to circus endlessly having to deal with something, be it undoing a badly struck deal, having to preform in shady places, sudden changes in their work schedules none are happy with or the accual devil who knows!

what type of a comic is this?

The chained circus is a gag comic! mostly lighthearted many chapters/stories wont be very plot driven but despite that there still will be ongoing plot in it you might wanna follow!

unlike a typical gag comic things will change overtime, one story wont be forgotten to make another one work and suddently characters wont forget their lessons or morals from before [unless theres an accual reason for it in the story]

And while the comic is mostly a comedy there will be serious moments in it there and there but do not worry! anything that will require a content warning or a trigger warning will be marked at the start of the chapter/in title card [ I write more about that below ]

overall id say that there will be more gag and comedy focused chapters but the lore/story driven chapters will leave a stronger mark after themselfs

The artstyle?

The comic will be in black and white with the only color visible being yellow, i plan on making the artstyle slightly messy i want you to feel like youre looking at something indie, not put through corporstions eye, i plan on the lineart being a bit rought and the texture of both characters fur and clothes will have noise to it, I dont plan on making it visualy busy or overwhelming but you'll mostlikely wont see much still color (or well brightness)

while not ideal and more of concept art here are some examples

Who will be the main characters?

The main characters are

Michael charm (mickey mouse) as the clown

Oswald charm (oswald the lucky rabbit) as the arial dancer

Julius. (Julius the cat) he does all the paperwork

Minerva mice (minnie mouse) as the magician

Francine fanny cottontail (sometimes reffered to as "bunny lou") as the Contortionist

Peg leg pete (accual name "peter fluffpaw") as the strong man

While the recurring Side characters are

MR. - The circuses ringmaster, but definitley not head, the man that menaged to lock others in with a bunch of contracts but cant multiply by 2 (oryginal character)

Alice comedy - julius' right hand woman and best friend! She helps with the paperwork and despite not spending much time with the toons because of their...strong reaction to her, she tries to be kind and helpful to them, what a sweet kid! (alice comedies)

Age rating? content warnings?

The chained circus is very much not made with children in mind but also not adults, id say its rated T (teen, aka 13+) While i don't plan on making every character swear every chapter 40+ times an ocassional cuss word there and there might be dropped, some humor can be based around more adult themes, none of it would be too serious, it is a gag comic afterall but I do plan on putting warnings at the start of the chapter at the title card since i belive all triggers are valid, there will be 3 levels of warnings,

Blue for jokes or brief mentions

Purple for slightly serious implements/showcases

Red for explicit serious showcases

do keep in mind that red rating will be barely used and most likely will be for things like characters being in distress, scary imaginary, heavier arguments and such, things I belive could be heavy or upseting for some but not dreadfull, like I said more plot driven chapters will happen but it is suppoust to be a comedy comic at the end of the day

when and where can I read it?

I plan on writing out a whole chapter then uploading it over the course of 2 weeks publishing few pages at the time [as you decided on a poll i made] the comic will be avaiable here, comic fury and on my neocities website! I'll link all of them here when the first pages of the pilot will be out

as of relase date I hope to start publishing first pages this month but cant yet tell if early on or later on I'll update this post and make other seperate posts about it when I figure it out

Ok! So finally page 869 have released. longest wait of my life because I really wanted to rant? or whatever about this page. There are just several things wrong with it. so starting off, Feaf's mother ends up visiting her and rhov at asmundr territory and feaf is telling her mother that oh she feels sick and has been getting these weird symptoms on and off. so then the mother tells feaf that she's probably pregnant. rohv and feaf are in shock (for like a mere second), anyways then her mother is like we you should put aside the differences of canine and felines and tells her it probably was the golden lioness because she's been fighting for their species for peaceful "coexistent". Again, in my honest opinion this whole species "racism" thing was like another 180 slapped into the comic, there was no indication in earlier pages that canines and felines were struggling to accept one another. since feaf was part of an all guild dog group minus herself being the only feline and cause Axi is the biggest ass. but maybe we could of given hints that she disliked feaf or something from the beginning or saw her as lower class compared to a dog. it would of at least shown the readers that "oh yeah these dogs are racists btw" because the main focus for the longest time was the ghouls and MT which for one the ghouls are pointless and are the most non threatening thing on aedra and but was so important too basically rent land to burn bodies on MT land when they also knew about their past brutal ways. but sat on their butts and shrugged shoulders about it. Moving on... so then feaf mother tells her that if she doesn't want to have the kids, she can take herbs to pretty much terminate the pregnancy. you can take that how you want since it's referring to abortion. and well, in my honest opinion I kinda wish she did take the herbs only because it would save injustice for her future kids but also rhov and feaf barely know each other. but kique is an idiot and no longer has purpose for rhov and forgot about going back to ronja. she then claims that she's "dreamed" of always wanting to start a family with rohv? like feaf what?? when? you two only officially hooked up together from gaslighting each other, then rhov chimes in and says it is a bit sudden (because it is) but says he's ready if she is. I wanna point out that feaf's mom reaction is so emotionless and she's just chill about like its been a common thing. but it's really not, if anything this is history in the making and the reactions are so poorly done by the entirety of the page. creating a potential new spices of hybrids. which spoiler alert, no hybrids, kique claimed and is so damn lazy. but the offspring will most likely be a mix of pups and cubs I guess apparently drawing hybrids will be too hard to trace off of or something. though if he willing to he could get creative with it, plus there was a cat mixed with dog hybrid back in asmundr shown or I think mentioned. he wont draw hybrids but is adding bears in his new comic, doesn't make sense too me but alright. another thing, you all remember when rogio went to the elk spirit to cure his pretend trauma?. I am mentioning this because she's her own spirit. but she gave rogio the opportunity to speak with her personally instead of just getting thrown into the void land or something. I dont what that was called. but if rogio was allowed to speak to him, why couldn't the golden lioness talk to feaf and i dont know ask her permission to impregante her? would of made her look less of an asshole. welp unfortunately this keeps getting worse as newer pages come out.

Just wanted to make a quick update!

I know some people have expressed concern over my mental health because of the speed I get updates out so I figured I would make a post to clear the air.

Yes, I draw 3-4 or more hours a day. And I know it sounds alarming but I'm an introvert. I spend most of my time between work and home. Before starting this comic I would either play video games all day or scroll the Internet. If you look at my blog history, you will see I've actually had this blog since 2020. However before this comic I posted barely anything. Maybe one to two arts a year.

I had a long span of depression and life and health issues that really affected my passion for art (a year of spine problems that also prevented me from drawing until I had emergency surgery). Getting into the mario fandom really reignited my drive to draw again. When I find something I like I hyper fixate on it A LOT. I did the same with starwars for 4 years with a previous blog.

Also, this is my first time actually committing to a comic and I'm having a ton of fun with it, learning new things and fully enjoying the experience.

I do take breaks for other things (over the summer I worked less on the comic and more on other sidlink projects ect) to prevent burnout.

But drawing really is relaxing when I get home from work. I put on youtube or music and work on a page, then do some chores and a few other things before bed.

Not to mention I got a system down now and its easier to start and finish pages than it was at the beginning.

I'm working on the last update now and whats really motivating me is proving to myself I can finish such a large project. Ive never worked on something this big before and there is a sense of pride in completing it. I also plan on working on a ten page epilogue that wont be post on tumblr due to the nsfw rules, but will probably have on bluesky or discord or something.

I think after that I will however take a small break before working on the sequel (I do have the first 12 pages of the sequel ready to go, but it wont be posted till chapters one and two are both finished) just so I dont stress about it.

I'm a very anxious, isolated person and having projects to work on has helped a lot. I also started some depression meds this year that have been a boon to getting stuff done and not being sad all the time lol.

So all is well rn!! I'm on page 57 right now for the comic, and have a long xmas break coming up so I might meet my deadline who knows XD

most of these 'headcanons' are here more because they make me happy than to actually make any sense. as a warning.

i really like more book inspired takes on j&h than the musical ones soo uhh.. yeah theyre the same person fully no j&h arguing thing. im soooorrrrryyy its just my preference for adaptations and i find it a lot more fun to play with story wise. also some other reasons but i wont get into those

polyamorous and bisexual (bi because... obvious reasons. poly because of that one couple they meet up with in the comic every now and then. my favourite ... ship (i think thats the right term?) in the comic. i love them.)

gas mask because it looks cool + chemical shenanigans ("oh but those didnt exist" shh. shhhhh.")

speaking of chemicals! they are much more into science. mostly does science-y stuff when theyre hyde though. they like to break into lodgers rooms and contribute to experiments.

tried making jekyll in the concept redesign of him look older. failed SO bad im sorry i know its horrible.

hyde has pointy ears + pointer teeth (and green tongue because potion goop) + slit pupils because i am incapable of designing a human hyde. i have no idea why but i just cant.

earrings because 1: i have a bad habit of giving designs earrings and 2: i remember seeing a few headcanons of j&h with earrings and they were so tasty to look at so i had to do my own

bandage scarf thing from the beta tgs hyde design + newer tgs design that only shows up in the mind... world.... thing.

added the uhhh goggles from the old design too.

red and green hat because i couldnt decide if i wanted hyde to have the red hat from the old design of tgs hyde or the green hat from the current design. ripped it in half and chose both. great decision making i know

chunks of brown hair in hydes because why not. also red ring around one eye as like a weird variant of half heterchomia.

hyde has weird patches of green colored skin idk it just looked cool when i was fiddling with colors so i kept it

hyde has red scales in certain spots of the design. no further explanation

gave hyde black gloves to contrast jekylls white gloves + cmon. hyde probably touches the most gross revolting shit with the places they go to. they deserve some gloves.

changed their body type a litttttle bit just a smudge

i was going to give jekyll a cravat around the neck (a really bad designing habit of mine is to give characters cravats. not my fault they look so cool) both as a fancy thing + to hide lack of a adams apple buuttt the design felt way too clumped so im scrapping that. ignore the cravat in the drawing. grrr bARKBAKRABK

actually does sparkle visually/not just as a non-existent visual effect and people can actually see it. lanyon always swats them away because the sparkles get in his face.

hyde is more shorter than shown in the comic, more like book hydes height. like a foot or more shorter than jekyll. jekyll stays around the same height though. hydes probably the shortest one in the society.

permanent eyebags. does not sleep but cmon we all already knew that

hyde has a strong scottish accent instead of the other accent he fakes in the comic that i always forget the name of

has a cane like the og book. its a sword cane.... yeah i have a addiction, im sorry. (like half my own personal characters have sword canes)

i suck so bad at drawing shoes so hydes shoes look like ass but theyre supposed to be big boots since this guy probably walks through yucky mucky areas and stuff

i would totally write some oneshots or something like that of these guys going on adventures doing experiments and stuff yknow . (stuff like lodgers content and interactions, lanyon and hyde interactions because i enjoy secret identity and person said secret identity personal knows outside of their secret identity interactions, that one couple i talked about before interactions with jekyll/hyde and just in general random oneshots that make no sense) if i actually had any literacy skill

so ever since i drew that lil thing of essek painting a frank stella inspired painting (or even before), ive been thinking of what kinds of art each of the m9 would do. essek ofc is inspired by a minimalist show that i went to here, all the big names from that movement were shown, but those really dark, sinkhole-like paintings are speaking to me. another artwork of boxes made of mirrors also seems like the thing he would do too

there's a kiln here that we visited which was huge, and surrounding it were artists' studios and some other ceramic sellers, i imagine the clay family having a place like this in the middle of nowhere amongst the trees, and caleb would do his work there

anyways because at heart im a shadowgast luver its centred around them,, they meet at an artist residency or something like that and its an incredibly slow burn that involves talking and not-talking and looking and not-looking. in the end i am but a simple wong kar wai fan so. that kinda vibes would definitely influence this, i would describe it as a quiet burning i guess?? time skipy and words that are not said

i think im gonna rant a bit more about their different mediums and styles so i'll keep it under the cut

i think caleb sculpts figures and portraits, but in a sad, kathe kollwitz charcoal vibe. maybe some funky looking animals, perhaps some pots and vases to look at the pretty glazes. he's interested in using fire to burn texture into different mediums, like ive seen it being used on shellac to make a really cool net of ink looking structure.. but yknow, just seeing the aftermath of glazed ceramic from the kiln is enough, and probably better for him to keep his distance anyways

the clay family produces most of the ceramic to sell, vases, pots, plates, cups, teapots, yknow just a whole array. and its really colourful too, depicting every family members different style. i think caduceus would do some matte glazes with a lot of different colours, theyre all a little wonky but theyre better off that way anyways. he does some really mean ink calligraphy and painting though

jester definitely does,, everything, whatever her heart desires kinda thang. she makes pastel textile installations and lighthearted cute paintings, but theyre always so contemplative and soothing. she gets m9 a lot of work cus her mom has connections, etc etc. i really love the idea of jester creating works that talk about the female body and femininity (definitely not projecting no)

beau is a printmaker and photographer who's really experimental, she loves cyanotypes and printing flowers (for yasha), idk she seems like she would put fabric and rocks into the washing machine to see what would happen. u would probably catch her in someone elses studio learning about what they do or in the library learning about what old people did

veth works in a museum as a curator, getting beau to help her sometimes with gathering artworks and artists etc. she probably organises community art projects for kids and public art installations. her house is full of m9's artworks and various other artists shes worked with.

yasha does bouquets as her post-retirement part time job, prior to that no one really knows what she did ("she probably murdered a bunch of people and is now hiding from the government"). fjord draws comics for fun but is also not a job for him, molly is a question mark for me. but these guys probably wont be in it as much anyways

im still not sure what format i wanna do this in, im actually having fun just writing it in my notebook now (digital does not facilitate the creative juices) but i do want to do some visuals like fake movie stills or storyboards. maybe they will work together well???? dunno. working on the other shadowgasty thing im doing made me realise how much easier it is to draw when there's a script already there, so im writing the script for myself

im definitely not as practiced in writing as i am in drawing, but idk im just gonna have some fun and see where that takes me, meanwhile try not to feel too bad that its fanart HAHA (very bad habit)

Everytime I see the old Star Stable games map or the full Jorvik map that sse hinted to (could still be changed after all) I really want to see more areas open up.

They have given us wild woods so the new areas arnt completely forgotten, just not a priority. I just really want to see the other places up north.

So this post is mostly dedicated to see how much more needs to be updated and my thoughts about it.

I will seperate area, as in landscape, and settlements as they are usually updated at different times.

Settlements:

Cape West Fishing Village - I hope they dont change too much with Cape West, I just really like the vibe the village have.

Goldenleaf Stable - might be upated along side Cape West. But gives it its own notible mention.

Jorvik Stables - Like with Cape West, I hope it doesnt get too big of a change. As its from the orginal Starshine Legacy games it has too much memory. But they did complelty change soul riders and dark riders, so who knows...

Jarlaheim - One of the most asked places to be updated I think. I do wonder what SSE will do with it. Personally Im not that into it. I just like the wall and it being on different levels. I dont mind if they do a big change to it.

Cresent Moon Village - Bit of a forgetten place. But hey, Scott is from there.

New Hillcrest - I think New Hillcrest can wait to be updated last. It doesnt look that bad.

Dew's Farm - I dont know if we ever going to make it liveble again or if it will just be updated ruins.

The Unfortunate Dews farm - with the ancient tree restored the ground should start to heal. I wont be surprised if there will an update like with the baroness race track where the farm will be updated alongside a quest to fix it up and have the Dew family move in.

Jaspers Pumpkin Farm - Maybe it will be updated alongside Cape West or it will be silently updated. Its not alot going on there.

Valedale Village - I love for it too look like it did in the comic.

Wolf Hall Inn - not much going on here either. But it will be updated to fit the style at some point.

Areas:

Im not sure if they will bother updating the landscape of some areas, SSO might stop with the updated texture and plants and wont do more.

Valley of the Hidden Dinosaur - defenitly up there on the wish list players have for being updated. It really need a good update.

Hidden frozen valley- I will keep these two areas separate for now, they have a little difference vibes from eachother.

South Hoof Peninsula - the area have new plants and 3d grass but the ground and rock textures are still the old ones.

North Harvest counties - the area around Jorvik stables and Jarlaheim is so tight that if they are going to change the landscape it will most likely be together with the town or/and stable. As for the forgotten fields, do it really need a big update?

Western Epona - I dont really mind this place. Maybe just round some corners and update some items.

Eastern Epona - I would love to see an updated swamp. As long as they keep it mystic.

Theres probably more areas people can talk about. But these are what I could think about.

|☆| Summary: The oldest brother of the Hamato's is having a hard time dealing with his brother's recklessness which has been spiking up. Feeling stressed and unsure of what to do, he decides to try and relax by going out to take a walk while, well, no human's are around. Maybe go blow off some necessary steam by smashing some trashcans. However, he didn't expect that he would end up meeting something else that would calm his nerves. .. That's a long summary to explain that Raph bonds with a cat.

|✷| ACTUAL IDEA:

|★| Okay, so- We all have noticed and known that Raph has a tendency, well habit.. Okay, he is stressed out and anxious for his family's wellbeing. |☆| A little headcanon that I have, and is probably canon..I'm not sure- is that whenever he is not in the best mood and needs to soothe his nerves, he has to just- destroy something.. without harming anyone in the process of course. He as well needs to get some fresh air, so he combines the two |★| So, he goes up to the surface, obviously being cautious as not to get spotted by humans. He just needs an escape from the responsibility from having to worry, although it's almost undeniably. |☆| ..Yeah, let's say he safely makes it in an alley, sees a couple of trash cans and lets the worry, and perhaps the frustration seethe out of him. He prepares to absolutely demolish the trash cans in hopes of feeling better. Otherwise, if he doesn't- then that means that he would have destroyed someone's property for nothing. And that would make him feel even more responsible, adding up to his stress. |★| However, he as he goes to throw the first punch on the metal- ..meow |★| Yeah, a sound of a cat meowing snaps him out of his thoughts, perhaps it startles him- maybe it makes him defensive. Mayhaps it makes him trip and fall over the trashcans for some reason. It may wake the neighbours but erh. |☆| And once he looks around for a moment, being startled a shit- his eyes finally land on arh. A cat. A cat staring at him, it's tail maybe flickering or swaying slowly. |★| He, for a moment, stills a little. His wants to blow off steam are now drowned out by the fear of urh, scaring of the cat. And perhaps fear of the cat attacking him. Although, he feels a little silly fearing a cat that he can easily overpower.. despite the fact that he may have not have the best experiences with animals or pets. Well, except the dogs at the 'Cuddle Cakes Puppy Rescue'. They didn't attack him, so he could count it as a small win. Still, with his relationship regarding cats- (flashbacks with Mayhem) is not the, urm, best as he sees it. |☆| Though, he wont harm the cat- even it bats him or scratches him. In fact, he may be a little cautious as to not scare it, ore heck even- hurt it by just moving or something. |★| ..If the cat approaches him, he may freak out a bit- thinking that once again, it may try to attack him. Although, it looks so.. small compared to him. |☆| Now if the cat tries to rub it self against his leg or tries butt it's head at him, he would, perhaps be a little confused. Maybe feel a bit fuzzy inside, although he is wondering if the feline wants something- like for example, food..which he didn't bring any with him- ohmigoshwhatifthecatistarvinf- |★| ..wooh. Confusion. Though, it's little act of affection does soothe his tension that he is feeling. Not completely, but still. |☆| Now, he could try and pet the cat- and by pet I mean rubbing his thumb on the top of its fuzzy head in a gentle yet firm manner. A bit unsure on how to show affection to it, as cats usually, erh- with all due respect, may dislike him. I'm not sure.
