How long does it take you to write one of your one-shots? Just curious, since even 500-1000 words of prose can be an arduous task for me ^^’

it honestly depends!! under ideal conditions (no obligations for the day, not sick or otherwise distracted) i can average between 2-4k a day if i'm really invested in a story, more than that if i get crazy brainworms and finish the whole thing in one sitting, like i did pretty frequently when hazbin first came out. it's usually just a matter of getting started for me - i can go days without writing because i'm waiting for the perfect opening line to come to me, but once i've got it then we're off to the races. it also depends on the amount of technical focus i'm pouring into a story; when the flies fell, for instance, took me much longer than my normal oneshots because i was going slower on purpose, since there were actual plot things and complicated themes to contend with. my funnier or smutty oneshots tend to be easier and i can pump those out fairly quick

one of my favorite things about zedaph is that on a server full of people that find strange and oft-overlooked minecraft mechanics or rare events and then see just how far they can push them in the name of spectacle or efficiency or world-breaking, zed is over here finding these mechanics in order to do the weirdest things he can think of in as entertaining a manner as possible

like i 100% have faith in zedaph's theoretical ability to be just as efficient or spectacular or world-breaking. if he wanted to do that stuff, i trust that he absolutely could. but thats so far from being his priority. instead, hes going to spend around a week of irl time focused entirely on eventually having the good luck to spawn in something insanely rare so that he can convert it into something even rarer, the result of which being something that 99% of the server reacts with complete and utter shock that it even exists in the first place, just because its zany and funny and he wanted to. and i love that

Started looking at a few of ur artworks and Im absolutely blown away with how unique it looks!

Starting as a beginner artist, was it hard to find ur niche and audience? Or was this something u never really thought about/ realised?

Funnily enough I had the opposite in terms of trying to find an audience when starting out. A lot of my earlier art was just a bunch of random furry ocs/nonsensical doodles/etc just trying to hop on whatever art bandwagon was going on to try and fit in and prove myself as an artist. It was only when I realized I wanted to create impactful art for myself, along with wanting my art to be something that can stand alone and not have to be influenced by context for the viewer to connect with it, that really let me start creating the work I make now. After shifting to more personal work I found people were a lot more receptive to my work, and I just managed to build my little niche over time. Peoples reactions to my current art definitely influences what I make now, but even then I always just created works for myself, and I’m very grateful people like it :)

I do consider the work below as one of my “cornerstone” drawings in terms of my development as an artist, it was my first work were I actually tried working a full scene, along with using it as a vent piece. Really set the tone and standard for all my other works

I cannot BELIEVE I am making progress on training Fancy to "sneeze" on command!

It looks sort of like shaking her head no, so I'm not sure what verbal cue to use. Do I use "sneeze" or "achoo!" or do I train it in as potentially part of a funny "dialogue" during a performance? "Ya think?" "*sneezes NO*"

Something I've been thinking a lot about lately is how everyone thought Egon had gone insane. What Happened that made them think that. They've fought a gigantic Stay Puft Marshmellow Man TWICE (counting the 2009 video game because iirc it's canon? Correct me if I'm wrong), fought an interdimensional god, fought a blood thirsty ruler that killed thousands and was hated by all that was trapped in a painting (and managed to get in to beat him by making THE STATUE OF LIBERTY start walking down the street with slime that reacted purely based on vibes), found an underground abandoned transit system full of the moodslime, had a bathtub try to eat Dana and her baby, fought a giant murderous black widow lady, fought the fisherman ghost who turned an entire hotel floor into the bottom of a ocean, and that's not even mentioning them getting trapped on an island that randomly raised up from underwater that had been abandoned for decades created by Ivor Shandor who worshipped Gozer. So what did he do or say that made everyone else think he'd gone insane?? All I can think is maybe he was acting strange / eratic before, but he's always been like that to some degree.

I don't know. It's something that I've been thinking about. The correct answer is 'it's not that deep and they needed a reason that the others weren't together anymore and weren't aware of Egons death or know what was going on,' but also. What Was He Saying that prompted everyone, including Ray, to think he lost his mind when he'd been right almost every time before that.

I'm genuinely so curious as to what he was up to before this. What was he doing. What insane idea was working on prior to this or was he even working on anything at all??

Also want to clarify this post isn't negative 😭 I really love the newer movies and their lore / the newer storyline / characters, I just like thinking about small stupid things like this. Gives me something to think about / speculate about / figure out an answer to.

Some more Side-side characters for my HTTYD crossover that I’ve been cooking up in the background. A few of these guys are antagonists, while others are filling up space in other areas. I’m not entirely happy with how some of them turned out, but I am way too tired to deal with it, so I’ll tweak design aspects and colors in future drawings
