YANDERE DEMONS AND BRIDES

Been thinking about this for a while now and I don't know if it counts as yandere but it is how the demons take a bride (or husband for the lady demons unless you also want to imagine that it's a lady.)Yeah. I know old trope but I really like this trope and I wanted to make headcannons for the Upper Moons. I think they'd all have a certain main element fueling that desire for their specific Bride(or Groom for the ladies).

When it comes to the lady demons like Nakime I'll leave Y/n's gender up in the air for anyone to interpret if the ladies also get a wife or if you prefer them to get a husband.

Warnings for yandere-ish (???) themes, kidnapping mentions, possibly death mentioned, mentioned wounds and scars, mentioned illness, mentioned bad vision, etc.

If any of these warnings upset you pls don't read. I will be including Daki/Ume in the line up as part of Gyutaro's part but she will be strictly PLATONIC yandere!! Absolutely NO romance between her and reader!! And her parts will be minor.

KOKUSHIBO:

HARBORMENT

-You have to be a very specific kind of person to attract this man's attention. I think it'd most likely be one of two things that guarantee his bold interest. 1. you are a reincarnation of his wife or 2. you remind him of someone he used to love long ago but never could have especially if you were close to/was with Yoriichi. But whatever the case he finds himself taken by your familiar being.

-He doesn't even know why he bothers with it. But he can't help but watch you from afar. The old feelings resurfacing. He tells himself that it doesn't matter anymore. Most likely you wouldn't remember him even if you were a past lover, and even if you did you'd most likely believe him dead by now or want nothing to do with him.

-He is perfectly content with just watching you live out your life. He's learnt so much about you through just secretly watching. He learns your favorite tea, you love long walks at morning, you work just around the corner at a tailor shop.

-He's content until it no longer becomes enough. He starts to wonder. Do you still smile the way you used to? Do you still wear the same sweet perfume you did back then? He walks into your work one day in disguise. You weren't there being so late, but he ends up buying a Jacket you personally tailored.

-Muzan definitely knows about you. He knew the exact moment Kokushibo saw you. He just doesn't care and sorta lets Kokushibo get away with it being his most loyal demon. He doesn't allow his obsession to interfere with his missions and in turn Muzan is idgaf.

-He is a very traditional man and believes in courting a woman before marriage. In his mind you both are still married/together, he just needs to make you aware of it again. So he starts leaving small gifts for you when you're not around.

-At first you're confused but you think it's just a harmlessly sweet gesture from a secret crush. A few flowers on your doorstep every other night, maybe a small gift of a necklace or hair pin, however your quickly get freaked out when the gifts get TOO personal.

-You came to work one day and was freaked out when your boss handed you a decorative vase an 'admirer' left you for you after he overheard you mentioning it. (You only ever mentioned it once to you boss in private with no one else around.) Your boss is also slightly confused since they also hadn't mentioned that to anyone.

-You freak out more than ever when you come home and find a pair of wedding rings and a shiromuku(wedding kimono) laid out perfectly on your bed.

-Kokushibo sees nothing wrong with his behavior. As in his mind you both are still together, you are still his woman, and he's going to reclaim what is his own. This is just letting you know what he expects. He can't comprehend you'd be against this.

-He's not allowing you to go, especially after he lost you last time to his brother's affections. Whether these affections were platonic friendship or romantic lovers is up to you, but his internalized inferiority, jealousy, obsession, and greed won't allow him to let you go.

-You shriek when you first see him reveal himself. He doesn't understand why you're reacting like this. Don't you recognize your husband? You can't get away. He's holding you to him in an embrace as you freak out.

"Death may have stolen you from me..but I will deny the reaper of his claim to you once again."

DOUMA:

EMOTIONS

-Again you have to be very specific for these men to even consider taking you as a bride. For Douma, it'd be because of the way you make him actually feel things.

-However this ends up happening or when it does is entirely a thing all of its own but for the sake of not making this a mountain of a post, we'll leave that part up to whatever you interpret for now.

-The problem is that he has legit NO idea of what he's even feeling. He's never felt adoration, anger, happiness, etc so how is he supposed to know what this fluttery strange feeling in his chest is?

-So for a long while even he's not aware of his growing obsession with you. He just knows these feelings are not bad. He knows these feelings are coming from you. So somehow he deduced that you are the problem for his new predicaments.

-For this reason he has you looked over by the cults resident healer in case you're using some kind of sickness or chemistry stuff on him. Gets more confused when you are perfectly fine. Nevermind that demons couldn't get sick.

-You become weirded out by how clingy and stalkerish he's suddenly become overnight. He's not even aware he's doing it and if he is he doesn't care really. He just knows you're the cause of the fuzzy warmth in his chest and he's starting to like it.

-The only chance for you to escape is now while he's still confused on what he's feeling. Afterwards it's too late.

-EVERYONE notices his behavior and there's a mixed reaction to it all. Some congratulate you which you're so confused on and some express their happiness to their founder. Douma is just even more confused at it all. Eventually someone notices his confusion and asks him about it, then proceeds to explain what's he's feeling because he's not so sure himself.

-This revolution is mind blowing to him. He's literally the shocked Pikachu meme.

-In his mind as he thinks about it, technically he's been already courting you for nearly a year now. Showering you in affection and gifts and treating you like the goddess you were. So the next logical step would be marriage and that thought actually has him giddy at the thought of you in a shiromuku.

-You've been giving him subtle hints that you're uncomfortable the entire time but he either flat out ignores it or it just flies over his head.

-He randomly wakes you up in the middle of the night and asks if you're not busy the next day.

You blink at the shadowy creepily happy smiling figure too tired to comprehend the gravity of the situation. "I think?"

"Alright." He's silent for a moment. "I made us an appointment with a local priest."

You mumble a nothing response, still on the brink of sleep.

"Just remember to take the day off," he presses. "Hello? Are you there?"

"Uh huh." Your eyes won't even stay open.

"It's settled then. We'll get married tomorrow." He claps happily as he makes his leave. "Go back to sleep now, Lotus blossom."

He leaves and you breathe a sigh of relief as you snuggle into your bed again-

You jolt up. Did he say married?

AKAZA:

FAMILIARITY

-Akaza has never, has not, and never will harm a woman. He himself is unsure of his past where this stems from but he feels a familiarity to something deep but distant when he first meets you.

-You either are dealing with a similar illness Koyuki experienced, or you're a demon slayer whom had to retire due to injuries. Let's go with the second option for this one.

-Akaza had randomly heard recently that a demon slayer had to retire and was currently in the area he was in. He's always looking for a good fight so it's not a no brainer he'd seek you out. What he doesn't know was that this particular retired slayer was a woman. He doesn't realize this even when he first sees you until you horrified and scared seeing a demon in your home confirms that you are indeed the person he's looking for.

-Akaza is shocked. Not at the fact that there's a lady slayer (he's seen plenty of strong lady slayers) but at how you look. He's never seen a woman covered in so many wounds and scars even amongst other slayers. He's so stunned he asks you about it. You're more confused on why he doesn't outright end you, but you answer his question to avoid provoking him. An entire gang of demons has ganged up on you and if it weren't for a Haishira you'd be dead. However your current state left you unable to continue.

-He's angry. About a lot of things. How dare those lowlifes! HE'S obviously not gonna be getting a fight here. There's no way to release this anger- You're stunned as the angry demon just leaves without another word, but he takes it out on some rocks some miles away.

-Akaza ends up swinging by much to your growing horror and worry. He never comes close or makes threatening actions towards you, but you've seen him multiple times staring into your window or you'd see him in the distance barely visible through the darkness. It always freaks you out.

-Akaza doesn't mean to scare you, he just can't help but be curious about you. He finds himself thinking about you and your poor condition a lot. For some reason it pangs his heart seeing you limp about knowing it's permanent to your walking pattern or get angry when he sees people stare at you funny. He even ended a man who insulted your beauty by calling your battle scars unattractive not that you had any idea. He just..feels an odd need to give you care. It feels so... familiar. Second nature.

-He's just so entranced by you. Your smile, your gently nature, your kindness- Despite your losses and bad treatment you still treat everyone so gently. It makes his heart race with something so familiar yet so foreign.

-Reality shatters for him when he hears of your arranged marriage. After returning you had to move back with family who were all horrified to your condition. Their logic was that you needed to get married like a sensible woman and you should be grateful someone was willing to put up with you as a wife.

-In Akaza's view no one would ever treat you like you deserved. He knew he could care for you like he did for-... Someone that makes his head fog. HE CAN'T LET HIM TAINT HER SMILE. If you needed a husband to provide for you then he's happy to step in. Don't be surprised when you wake up to him carrying you out the window.

"Anything that is gold is often buried beneath where everyone's minds skim over without a second thought. You won't have your gold tainted to rust by another."

GYUTARO(+PLATONIC UME/DAKI):

EQUALITY

-Let's be fair. Gyutaro (and Ume/Daki) were never treated as an equal. He was always treated like a piece of garbage (and Ume a pretty doll) so he's gotten used to the fact that he's just destined for that.

-So he's surprised when his sister just starts yapping about another girl in her workplace. It's not out of the ordinary for her to talk about other girls mostly complaining about them or demanding he do something about it. But he's surprised that she's not complaining but gushing about how she made a friend....What?

-Gyutaro.wav is confused af

-She proceeds to proudly gush to her brother about how this girl 'actually knows her place' and 'knows how beautiful Daki is without even needing to know her.'

-Gyutaro.exe is VERY confused af

-She notices his blank stare and scoffs in annoyance. "She's visually impaired you dolt! Honestly it wouldn't be much of a difference if she was actually blind." Oh. Well now he's less confused. Turns out you're new to the house Daki is currently working in and she had originally planned on eating you outta jealousy, however changed her mind when you complimented her voice.

-Daki.wav is now confused. She was used to being complimented on everything from her beauty to her hair to her walking even but her voice? It was then she learnt you weren't blind but you might as well be with how bad your vision actually was seeing everything in colorful blurs. This confuses her. Confused her enough to spare you that night and instead you both just sorta awkwardly talked casually. You politely asked her what it was like to be a famous oiran and if she had any tips for make up as you couldn't see well enough to tell if yours was good.

-You had spoken to her without fear, or condensending, or even any flat out adoration. It was just as if she was another person on the street and not a cannibalistic monster. Honestly it was ..nice. Hella confusing but actually nice for once being treated like another. She decides she will not eat you. After all it wouldn't harm anyone if you couldn't see the red flags in front of you, and you believe her anyways when she said she's beautiful.

-She decides you are her default friend and you now listen to all her problems and tantrums whenever she wants. You gently listen awkwardly sometimes with a frown after you hear she had punished another worker. However there's very little people here nice to you and her reputation alone has kept troublemakers away from you so you decide her friendship is worth more than the cons of not having it.

-She's very territorial over her one friendship. Almost toxically so. If you want something you had BETTER get it within the day or there's hell to pay! If there's a customer you don't particularly like he had BETTER find another girl. No is not an option. Even the house master is scared of her so all complies.

-Gyutaro has legit no idea of what to think of this but his logic is whatever his precious baby sister wants she gets so if you make her happy being her friend then he'll leave you alone and leave her too it. He hasn't met you yet tho. Most of the time he's either out hunting or asleep dormant in Daki's body. Sometimes he heard you two talking but tuned it out as it was mostly boring or his sister complaining to you again. You two completely meet by accident.

-One day he came back from hunting, the two had to split as it'd look suspicious if she suddenly disappeared, so as usual he went to go clean up the mess. The two were just talking when the door suddenly opens and they both freeze as you stand there smiling. Turns out you had just come to say good night to Daki and didn't even see the demon in front of you. However you are barely able to make out a second blurry figure in the darkness. It prompts you to apologize for interrupting her and her customer to which both relax from their tense posture remembering you couldn't actually tell there was a six foot something demon in front of you.

-Daki is prompted to scoff and explain that it wasn't a customer but her brother visiting. In turn Gyutaro is stunned as you genuinely smile his way and greet him like he was another friend. It quickly becomes awkward as he just stares. His brain can't compute a girl(a pretty girl at that) was smiling and talking to him normally. He answers in grunts and quickly leaves the awkward scene.

-Is later shocked weeks later when his sister informs him that you sometimes ask her how her brother is doing. He's not used to having anyone think of him so nicely even as a second thought. The way he reacts gives Daki the idea of making her brother come out to again meet you. (She forces him out and doesn't let him merge until he meets you again.) He's shocked at how you still genuinely are kind to him offering him tea and asking if he'd like to hear you play the shamisen.

-Man becomes fastly smitten by you. With so much touch starvation and affection denial he has it was inevitable. You suspect he might like you by the stutters of his floundering voice but out of respect to your friend you remain casual and never bring it up to either of them when they visit you.

-You've got two demons utterly obsessed with you for both two different reasons. Daki is unwilling to lose her only friend. In her mind NO ONE is allowed to be friends with you! She's the best! So she's your best and only friend! She's very possessive over things she sees as hers and you're no exception. She even was jealous of Gyutaro's affections for you at first but quickly realized it would be easier to share her big brother with you. They share practically everything else anyways. She still gets annoyed when he takes your attention for too long tho. You were her friend first!

-Gyutaro is obsessed with the way you treat him. The way you don't back away from him when he gets close. The way you smile at him. The way you don't treat him like the scum of the earth. He's a very possessive man, even more than his sister. Any visiting customers you have are never seen again. Any present or past he finds out about are quickly taken as his dinner for daring to touch what's his.

-If he doesn't get them then Daki will. She eliminates any threat within the house. Any servant who stares at you with disdain or someone who gets too friendly is swiftly delt with.

-You're hella confused when the house master says he is cursed with many runaway workers.

-Both absolutely FREAK when they return to the house and You're not there anymore. Daki realizes this first when she goes to see you and finds you GONE! All of your belongings are gone and your room is empty. Practically tears the house apart looking for you and calling your name. Her panic wakes up her brother concerned she's in danger but also freaks out when she informs him you're GONE! She goes to the house master after not finding you anywhere else and DEMANDS they tell her where you are with murder in her eyes.

-Turns out a man had bought your marriage contract after watching a show of yours playing the shamisen and singing. You were relieved to be leaving and had left with him after waiting for an hour to say goodbye but your friend never showed up.

-Both are HORRIFIED and ENRAGED!

-Daki ends the house master in a rage as her brother appears. It's not too hard to find you being lead by your soon-to-be husband leading you towards the train station. Had they been ten minutes late then you would've been completely out of the E-District.

-Instead you're quickly absorbed into Daki's belt as her brother violently rips the man apart in a blind rage. You aren't going to leave your best friend behind and he wasn't going to let another man have your hand.

"I'm your friend! Don't you get that?!"

"I'll cut down anyone who tries to hurt my precious sister or take you from me. You're mine."

KAIGAKU:

GREED

-This man and Kokushibo are similar. Both have inferiority issues against younger brothers(Ik technically Zenitsu n him aren't brothers but bare with me) being better than them in swordsmanship one way or another. With Yoriichi and Kokushibo it was more complicated. Between Kaigaku and Zenitsu it was that ONE Thunder Breathing technique he never conquered.

-His inferiority and greed has caused him to make so many bad decisions (if you've read the manga or read his wiki then you know what I mean). He's not one to want to be out done even if he has to resort to underhanded tactics.

-You both met when he was still human and training under Master Jigoro. You were a simple healer often just helping patch him and Zenitsu up after training. He's annoyed and often doesn't give you a second thought that is until Zenitsu starts running his mouth obviously. He asks you to marry him ten minutes after you both just met.

-Kaigaku has known you for a few years longer than Zenitsu because he's older and came to train here before Zenitsu but you both have never been close before. He's short with you when you talk otherwise he's usually quiet. You talk to him anyways even if he never answers back. You're used to it.

-He hates how you just patiently laugh off any and all attempts Zenitsu makes to you. Why are you tolerating that idiot?!(Nevermind you also tolerate him and his stupid attitude.) He gets jealous of your interactions and how Zenitsu is just finding over you before he meets Nezuko. He barely sees you after his final selection and becoming a slayer but his furious mind boils over at the thought of you spending more time ALONE with Zenitsu before he too goes to his Final selection.

-With both Zenitsu and Kaigaku gone, and Jigoro insisting he can take care of himself, you're reassigned to a different residence where multiple slayers pass through. Ironically it's where Kaigaku is. All good and bad feelings punch him at once seeing your smiling face again as you stitch up his most recent wound.

-He likes you so much and how you treat him, but he's internally enraged when you share that kindness with anyone outside of him. Hearing you speaking to him about Zenitsu and your other patients only enrages that boiling point. However it only reaches that point when you inform the ever silent man about your own slayer fiance you met through your patients.

-You're sad when one day Kaigaku stops showing up for a long while. News of his betrayal and Jigoro's death really hadn't reached a lot of people with all the Haishira and slayers training for the final fight in the Infinity Castle. Your slayer fiance included.

-You do however receive news of your fiance's mysterious gruesome death at the hands of a demon. You're more heartbroken when you also hear of Jigoro's death. Devastated and crying your heart out over your loss. However those sobs turn to screams when you're face to face with blackened eyes of death as a sinister smile.

"What are you crying for? It's his own fault."

NAKIME:

SHARED INTEREST

-(Ok. Bare with me. Ive never written for her before and even researching her backstory this is probably not going to be very long and ooc. Take as platonic or romantic.) Let me start by saying that she does not get out much. Like at all. So you two really don't meet face to face.

-She discovers you by accident when she opened a door in a busy street and happened to see you sitting on the side of the road also playing a biwa for money.

-She hasn't seen another fellow biwa player for a while and decided to keep the doorway open for a while to listen.

-You are not very good with the biwa. Your playing isn't bad it's just not the best. Nakime knows this but considering she's never met another person or heard another instrument for a long time she can't help but get interested. Learns quickly that you are a lot better playing the shamisen than the biwa and always opens a small window or doorway on nights she knows you're gonna be sitting on your corner playing.

-She starts to think about teaching you how to play the biwa and doing a duet as you play your shamisen next to her biwa. Starts to really like the idea of permanently having your company in the castle.

-She doesn't really abduct you until after a show a drunk patron steals your instrument and smashes it on the ground laughing at your crying face.

-A loud strum of a biwa is heard as both you AND the drunk man is teleported. You're shocked to suddenly find yourself on a platform with a woman sitting right across from you. The drunk man was also teleported. She teleported him to where she knew a gang of newly turned hungry demons were.

"Apologies for the sudden introductions however it seems you need a change of residence."

GYOKKO:

CREATIVITY

-(I don't like him too much but ik there's a lot of people who do and can't find content for him same as those who like Nakime so I'll include him too for all you Gyokko fans.) Mans is a baby. Very sensitive to his projects being insulted even if they deserve to be called that, most either are 'too dumb to notice his great skills' or always insult him. When in reality his art is so gruesome that people can't help but he horrified by it or insult him. The only one who seems to get him is Douma which is why he gifted him the pot but they aren't really friends.

-He meets you by complete accident. He was out too late and ended up deciding to hide in a pottery worker's shop. He likes to sneak around and spy on other artists anyways. His pot was sun proof and all he had to do was duck inside and wait until night again. However he wasn't counting on being bought.

-You had come in looking for a new vase to decorate your table after your old one accidentally broke. You happened to spot Gyokko's and completely fell in love with how pretty it was! The purest white you've ever seen with beautifully perfectly painted flowers and leafy vines. The pottery worker doesn't even remember making this piece but a paying customer was a paying customer so he sold you Gyokko's vase.

-Gyokko is absolutely offended by the pottery worker claiming his vase as his own and plans to end him later...But he also is very intrigued by the bold compliments you gave so he decides not to end you yet.

-When night comes he sneaks out to find quite a sight. Turns out you are also an artist sorta. You make custom jewelry and clothing for people, and baskets on the side. He's intrigued and extends his body around to look closely at all of the fabrics laid about, and written patterns, and little pieces of jewels ready to be put together for a simple but pretty piece to wear.

-He ends up going from the back of your shop to the front finding a lot of finished pieces of yours displayed and ready for sale. He's very intrigued by the kimonos. All of the patterns are individually sewn on. Cherry blossoms, storks, flowers- All are sewn on thread after thread by hand. It's like a canvas but made of fabric with thread as the paint. He's seen a LOT of kimonos but the attention to detail and precision to the likeness of the real thing was truly remarkable. For a woman.

-He decides since you really hadn't been a nuisance and complimented his work then he'll not end you for taking his pot. Instead of taking his pot with him, he leaves it and teleports to a different pot that way he can still sneak into your home without a problem.

-This goes on for two years. He'll pop in every so while when you sleep and look around for an hour or two before leaving. There was always different dresses displayed with different beautiful scenes sewed into them or he'd see one you were working on on your workshop bench. The needle paused in sewing the stripes of a tiger or the veins of a leaf.

-One day he comes back but hides in the pot because you're working late and tending to a customer who needed a dress for a ceremony. As you both talk the customer compliments 'your pot' and asks why you never put flowers in it. You answer- "I don't want to damage it by filling it with water or having rose thorns scratch it's inside. Besides it's beautiful enough by itself."

-As if this man didn't have enough of a big ego- This happens around the start of the second year and he ends up fond of this fellow artist. He gets the idea of gifting you another case to gage your reaction. This time you find a deep blue pot with waves painted onto it. You're unsure of where it came from but you might up moving it by the first vase mumbling to yourself about how pretty it was! Man's ego skyrockets.

-You are confused when you thank your friends for the pretty gifts only to be told they didn't make any of the ones you have. You get more confused when you start finding pots left on your doorstep two or three times a month. You never see who leaves them but you're so taken by how each one is so pretty that you never complain. Just assuming it was a secret admirer. Gyokko's ego boosts higher when he sees you had gotten two big shelves and placed them up to be displayed. He loves seeing you light up when you look at them excited for when the next one arrives.

-You're happiness seems to be improving your work too as Gyokko ends up find you making full on landscapes on your dresses. He notices you've suddenly become happier and giddier lately and blushing even but he doesn't think it's anything other than your adoration for his craft.

-Confused when one day he finds no new dresses being made except for an absolutely beautiful shiromuku in the process of being made. He assumes you've been paid to make a bride her ceremonial dress. He has absolutely no idea of the real reason behind this behavior until he comes back earlier one night and is shocked to find YOU wearing the dress to try it out as another friend of yours does your makeup testing out what colors would look best with you in the dress.

-Seeing you in your own homemade bridal piece and your face dolled up is like he's looking upon living artwork. He's in awe as you both giddily talk about your wedding-..Wait. Wot? You're telling your friend all about how the pottery maker you had originally bought your first vase from had fallen for you and came forward to be your secret admirer leaving all of the vases as gifts.

W H A T?!

-Gyokko is ENRAGED!! How dare that lowlife claim his precious skills as his own!? More so how dare he use it to trick this beloved artist into letting him marry you?! He was claiming all his hard work!! He's becomes more enraged when you mentioned that your fiance wanted you to retire from your craft and be a stay at home wife after you marry. A mantra of "Oh over his dead body" is repeated over in his head as he temporarily disappears to take care of a problem.

-Soon after your friend leaves you're smiling at yourself in a mirror only to freeze in horror and shriek out as something monstrous comes clawing out of the first ever face you've ever gotten. People are horrified and shocked when they find your fiance dead and you no where to be found.

"Art is a beauty in of itself. However there are few people who can truly appreciate you as such."

Like the hashira were struggling against an uppermoon, but reader interferred at a crucial moment and cut them down effortlessly with the hashira's own sword :] here comes the dilemma of how to proceed with a clearly abandoned child who's not a demon slayer yet easily managed to do what no hashira was able to do in centuries , not to mention their extremely young age. But this was something to think about later. You look like you’re gonna fall over and just die of dehydration or starvation at any moment, or just freeze to death on the spot. If he wants to or not, Sanemi has to take you in for the moment. He can bring you back to the estate and hand you over to Shinobu or something later.

Gyomei likes being around children. They are innocent, fragile, weak and need to be protected. They lie, too, but Gyomei doesn’t take it to heart when they do. He never did. Children are children after all.

But when he met you, right after you simply beheaded Upper Moon Five while he struggled, Gyomei knew that you are not an ordinary child. You do not need protection, you are strong enough to take care of yourself, and he can sense the powerful aura you had. He never felt this strong of an aura before, ever. It was almost overwhelming to his heightened senses.

“You seem very strong for a child. Where did you learn all this skill?”

In the ranks of the hashira, no one besides Gyomei can wield his morningstar. It’s too unique and western-style of a weapon to be used by an ordinary slayer, if you ignore the heavy weight all together. It takes a lot of training to wield something like that.

With that being said, Gyomei was surprised to say the least when he heard how you swung his weapon with ease. He felt the heat it was radiating after you beheaded the demon. What kind of breathing were you using?

“You seem tired. How about I carry you back to my estate? It’s safe , and you can rest there. On our way there, we can talk about how you got this strong. Shall I carry you on my shoulders?”

Kyojuro was walking beside what’s left of the Lower Moon’s Muegen train, checking for any more survivors and passengers. Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu and Inouske were heading into the opposite direction to check the other half of the train, while Kyojuro inspected the head of the train (in hopes of finding his katana as well, wich he somehow lost).

That’s where he found you, buried underneath the rubble and remains of the train, luckily unscathed. Kyojuro was ecstatic to have found such a frail child like you in such a terrible situation.

“I’m glad I found you in time! Are you hurt? Hungry? Thirsty?”

But as Kyojuro inspected you, he recognised the yukata you were wearing. He could’ve swore that he saw someone similar flashing before his eyes, beheading the train with some kind of fiery technique. It wasn’t flame breathing, he would’ve recognised it immediately. It was more powerful, more bright. It resembled the power of the sun.

That’s when it hit him. Yes, it was indeed you who beheaded the Lower Moon! Your small stature, your aura. Kyojuro laughed loudly when he realised. You, a child, managed to defeat a Lower Moon! With his own sword as well! Even if you did snatch his katana when you had the chance to kill said demon, he forgave you. You saved them all after all.

He made a mental note to look through all the corps’ records, including the flame hashira archives his father Shinjuro keeps back in their home. Perhaps Kyojuro can find what kind of breathing technique you were using, in case you don’t know yourself.

Kyojuro took his haori off his uniform and wrapped you in it, lifting you off the ground and holding you close to his naturally heated body. You looked surprisingly neglected and starved, as if no one took care of you back home. If you even had a home.

“You did great defeating such a powerful Lower Moon! You should be proud of yourself! How about we share some bento boxes when we head back?”

(You ended up being forced to eat multiple bento boxes because Kyojuro was worried you might starve to death on him.)

He is incredibly embarrassed. First, Tengen didn’t notice how Daki was not the real Upper Moon right away. Second, his hand gets sliced off clean. Third, he let his nichirin-blades get snatched by a child. And fourth, that said child managed to behead Gyutaro while that blonde kid and boar boy beheaded Daki. Tengen basically didn’t even do anything! He just let himself get poisoned and lost a hand, then just laid in dirt the rest of the fight. How unflashy and boring!

But he did notice the technique you used to behead the Gyutaro. It was fiery and bright, similar to his friend’s Kyojuro’s flire breathing, just that yours is much more powerful or something. Tengen made a mental note to ask his friend about the fire breathing techniques later.

“Hey kid, lend me a hand will ya?”

What a poor choice of words. He could tell that by your unimpressed expression, but you understood what he meant by that anyway. After giving him his blades back and lifting him off the ground, you helped him walk out of the rubble that was once the entertainment district. Tengen is surprised by your strength and that you’re even able to make him walk upright, but that surprise quickly turned into curiosity.

He noticed the red, flamey mark on your forehead and your dark, maroon hair. You looked very flashy, but neglected. You’re kinda dirty, too. Tengen thinks a little bit of make-up and a nice bath can make you look all flamboyant again! Oh, and yeah, he guesses you’re pretty strong too. But that’s beside the point for now.

Then, finally, Tengen was met with the lovely view of his wives.

“Lord Tengen!! You’re okay! We were so worried!! Waaahh!!”

“Be quiet, Suma! Can’t you see Tengen needs to rest?

High school is a big step compared to middle school, school is much bigger, classes are much more aggressive and everything takes a 180 compared to any school year you've experienced in the past. Thankfully Yoriichi was there to help show you the way.

He was a rising sophomore when he first met you, only being around on that day because he was doing volunteer work. He really just intended to direct you to class, but things seemed to change. You and yoriichi hit it off the bat and he ended up talking to you for the entire time you stayed at orientation. While his name took a while for you to memorize you always knew him as “the long red haired boy” so you wouldn’t forget him.

When school actually starts you tend to notice him a lot more. You’ll see his red hair around the halls, you mistakes him for another long red haired boy in one of your classes. You’ve seen him at dismissal before, and you even share the same lunch. To your surprised the boy is much more reserved than you thought.

The first time you actually talk to him is a couple days after noticing him. You really didn’t think he would remember you at first, besides you didn’t really think he really liked you that much. So you held off, but an opportunity presented itself to you and you hesitantly taken it.

You waved at him as he looked up at you, he beckoned you over to where he was sitting and you started talking. You managed to loose track of time and realize lunch is about to end. Before you to go you give him your phone to get his number, also because you may forgotten his name. He types in Yoriichi on your phone and you make a mental note not to forget.

Time moves fast when your with yoriichi, you two become inseparable. You stick with each other as years pass that you almost forget you’re not the freshman that met yoriichi last week. You’re a junior now preparing for your senior year, while Yoriichi is a senior preparing for his future.

Hello! If requests are still open, how would the hashira react to being introduced to a new hashira who happened to be a child reader (around 6-7) who's actually a reincarnation of yoriichi (born with his demon slayer mark) therefore extremely powerful. They got taken in by ubuyashiki after they stumbled into a fight btw a demon slayer & an uppermoon (reader were abandoned because of the mark on their forehead)and they effortlessly take down the uppermoon with the slayer's sword, which is something no one had managed to accomplish in a long time. (Imagine if the uppermoon is douma. He's so unserious and would be caught off guard)

The Hashira's Meet Yorichi's Reincarnation

When Ubuyashiki first stumbled across you, he was shocked to say the least. You looked to be around six years old and you were standing in front of Upper Moon two's disintegrating body. Even more surprising was the fact that you didn't have a single injury on your body. Ubuyashiki was surprised that someone so young could become a demon slayer, though it was also somewhat sad. He ended up taking you in since he didn't want you to be alone at such a young age. So, he took you in.

The Hashira were all gathered together, whispering as they tried to figure out why they had been called for a meeting.

"I'm so nervous, you don't think it's bad news, do you?" Mitsuri asked, turning toward Shinobu. The Insect Pilliar smiled at her as she spoke,

"I'm sure everything is fine, you don't need to panic" she reassured the pink haired woman. Just then, two of the master's children appeared,

"the master has arrived" they both spoke at the same time. Behind them, Ubuyashiki walked up, stopping next to his daughters.

"Hello my children, I hope you're all doing well" he greeted them. Looking up from her bowling position, Mitsuri was the first to reply.

"I hope you're doing well, Master" she greeted with a smile on her face.

"Thank you, Kanjoir-san, now I've brought you all here for an important reason" Unuyashiki addressed the entire group. Pausing for a moment, the man turned his head and spoke once more.

"You can come out now" the Hashira were all confused but simply watched silently as a short figure walked into view.

"Is that a child?!" Tengen was the first to react upon seeing a small girl standing next to the master. She was even younger than Muichiro.

"This is (Y/N), I found her on her own, she was able to slay an upper moon on her own. She as incredible skill" Ubuyashiki explained, the Hashira were silent for a moment, processing what they had just been told.

"Are you telling me that a child was able to defeat an upper moon?!" Sanemei suddenly yelled, his voice aggressive as always.

"How are we supposed to believe that?!" He shouted again,

"I know it's hard to believe, but yes." Was the master's simple response.

"Furthermore, I have decided to make her a Hashira, since she insisted on being a Demon Slayer, despite her age" Ubuyashiki explained.

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Shinobu raised her hand, the master opened her mouth to speak, but he was suddenly interrupted.

"I can take care of myself" the child spoke up in a surprisingly mature tone. They said nothing else, and the Hashira didn't know what to say. They simply accepted the situation, as unusual as it was.

Relationships with the Hashira

Giyu

Despite how quiet his is, Giyu does worry about someone so young being a Demon Slayer, let alone a Hashira. He worries that you won't get the chance to have a proper childhood, but you seem hell bent on the path you've chosen. He knows he won't be able to change your mind, he just accepts that you're a part of the Demon Slayer Corpse. Because of your age, he's protective in a very subtle way. When you come back from a mission, he'll check from a distance to see if you had gotten injured or not. To his surprise, you come back uninjured most of the time. Though, he still worries about you none the less.

Shinobu

She questions why someone so young would want to put themselves in such a dangerous position. Sure, Muichiro is a Demon Slayer as well, but you're even younger than he is. It makes her sad since she thinks every child deserves to have a proper childhood. Besides that, she treats you like a younger sister. When she gets the chance, she checks in on you and makes sure that you're still healthy. If you insist on being a Demon Slayer, she'll make sure you're at least in top shape.

Rengoku

On one hand , Kyojuro admires your sills and bravery, on the other, he worries for your safety. Seeing someone so you being a part of something so dangerous makes him worry. He does his part to make sure you have people around you to take care of you. He'll bring you food when he can and also makes sure to remind you not to be reckless. He's already an older brother so he doesn't mind being like an older brother to you.

Tengen

Tengen thinks your deserve a better childhood than being a Demon Slayer. Though he's well aware of the fact that you won't quit. So, he does subtle things to be there for you. The main thing he does is remind you that it's important to put your life first. He would hate to see someone lose their life at such a young age.

Muichiro

On the surface, Muichiro doesn't think much of it, but deep down he relates to you. You're both young, which is one of the main reasons you two get along. He does hate that someone younger than him is putting their life on the line, it doesn't feel right to him. In his mind, you deserve a better life than this. But since the two of you are in it together, he might as well make sure you have someone you can be close to.

Mitsuri

She already has siblings so she's a natural at taking care of anyone younger than her. It worries her a lot that someone your age is part of the Demon Slayer Corpse. But, if you insist on it, she'll make sure you're taken care of. Mitsuri often invites you to her home or one of her favorite restaurants to eat together. It's how she makes sure you're eating properly. She's very doting and wants to make sure you have someone looking out for you.

Sanemei

On the surface, he doesn't treat you any different than the other Hashira. But on the inside, you remind him a lot of a brother and because of that, he feels the need to take care of you. Sanemei doesn't doubt your skills, but he does wonder why someone your age would willingly be a part of something so dangerous.

Obanai

Obanai acts indifferent around you, he acknowledges your presence, but not much more than that. In his mind, if you're willing to put your life on the line, then it's none of his business. At least, that's how he acts on the outside. On the inside, he does worry about your safety since you're so young.

Geyomei

Unhinged Kimetsu Academy Headcanons

-Muzan and Kagaya are cousins. They despise each other. They are forced to be civil when the extended family gets together around the holidays, and have an unspoken agreement that they have to pretend to get along for the sake of their relatives. Kagaya is much better at this than Muzan. Amane holds her tongue, but she and Kagaya talk mad shit in the car on the way home.

-Mitsuri is going to art school, and desperately wants to student-teach in Tengen’s art class. He always refuses, mainly out of a very warranted fear that his students will like her better than him. 

-When Kyojuro’s hearing is having an especially bad day, he can really struggle to speak to Obanai, who is soft spoken and wears a mask, so Kyojuro cannot read his lips. They will get stuck in loops of “what? Sorry, what?”, and Kyojuro feels bad about making Obanai take his mask off, so sometimes he’ll ask Obanai to write things down or just sign to him instead.

-When it gets especially cold outside, Tanjiro will force Inosuke to accept his coat by yammering about how much he appreciated him and how sad he would be if Inosuke caught a cold. If he gets flustered and giddy enough, Inosuke will agree to wear the coat so Tanjiro will be happy.

-During Zenitsu’s first week at the academy, he referred to the Ubuyashikis as “Beauty and the Beast”, and was overheard by Amane. Upon reporting this to Kagaya, she was shocked to find that instead of calling for discipline, Kagaya laughed his ass off for ten minutes straight and immediately adopted the nicknames. To this day, he still calls her Beauty when trying to tease her, and they have matching keychains of the enchanted rose on their work bags.

-Because he is polite, respectful, and capable of beating a grown man’s ass into the pavement if needed, many girls will approach Hakuji for protection if they are scared to walk home alone. One time he escorted Nezuko home when Tanjiro had a doctor’s appointment, and Kie rewarded him with enough bread to last him and Koyuki a week.

-Hakuji is mortified by the way he used to harass Kyojuro for a fight as a middle schooler. After marrying Koyuki, he has cleaned up his ways and become quite the gentleman, and he copes by lying to himself that the teachers have forgotten all about it. Unbeknownst to him, Kyojuro is quite excited for Hakuji to graduate so they can finally have a good old spar between martial artists.

-The Ubuyashikis are fully aware that Nakime is a spy for Kibutsuji. Kagaya lets her stay, because she has never once uncovered anything remotely useful, and he knows that she’s just a bit down on her luck and looking for a place to belong. He has faith that someday she’ll realize the error of her ways and abandon Muzan’s regime of terror. Amane is not convinced, and actively takes any chance she can get to thwart Nakime’s casual espionage.

-Tengen loves to watch anime, being the art nerd and flashy bastard that he is. His favorite is Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure, and he often tries to peer pressure Kyojuro into watching it. Kyojuro tends to have a hard time following what on earth is happening in that show, but he does enjoy some of the more tame ones.

-Following the Halloween festival, Kokushibo developed a casual interest in cooking. He’s gotten quite good with a bit of practice. Rumor has it that he makes an extremely good curry, and it’s become Yoriichi’s favorite.

Marriage of Convenience, part 12: lessons in swordsmanship.

Summary: Yoriichi's friends think that Yoriichi is too lonely and needs a wife and family to take care of him. They propose a marriage of convenience to a woman who's in need of a husband. The arrangement of the marriage is simple: both parties live their lives as before, y/n takes care of Yoriichi as a wife and Yoriichi keeps unwanted men (and demons) away. Love is not required, friendship is appreciated. However, how detached can one be when living so close to each other?

Y/s/n does not like moving again. He had just settled into the new house and had finally found some friends. He watches his mother with a scowl as she packs their things for a second time in just a couple of weeks. At least this time, he doesn't make a fuss.

„Look, honey, I know there have been a lot of changes in such a short time. I'm really sorry.“, y/n says as she takes the toy out of her son's hands and carefully stuffs it into one of the bags they brought along.

Yoriichi is nowhere to be seen. Apparently, he's been wrapping up things with the staff of the house, thanking them for their service and saying goodbye to some fellow slayers. Y/n already said her goodbyes this morning before Yoriichi came back from his nightly expedition against Muzan's demons.

When all bags are packed, y/n sits and waits while y/s/n sits in her lap fiddling with the ugly plushie Yoriichi won for him. Absent-mindedly, y/n brushes over her son's hair. She's feeling a bit nervous and there's a weight in her stomach that she can't place yet. She doesn't want to say it's a sense of dread, because that would put this whole new job under a bad star. But it does feel like it.

Suddenly, the door slides open and Yoriichi comes into view. He keeps standing at the entrance and gives y/n a wordless nod. It's time to go, y/n thinks and gently nudges y/s/n to get off of her. Standing up, she grabs the bags and softly takes her son's hand. She tells herself it's to soothe him but really she is soothing herself.

Quietly they exit the room and the mansion to start their way to the flame pillar's estate.

„Welcome, Mr. and Mrs. Tsugikuni.“

Ryo Rengoku and his wife Mei bow deeply infront of Yoriichi and his family. When Yoriichi takes too long to answer, y/n quickly steps in.

„Thank you for your hospitality. We're very glad to be here.“, she quickly says and bows deeply as well. She nudges Yoriichi and her son to do the same. Mei gives her a soft smile.

„Yoriichi, why don't we leave the women to tend to their business while we talk strategy? I'm sure you have a take on how we can react to the recent attacks on the demon slayer corps more effectively than we did until now.“, Ryo says and leads Yoriichi to the gardens.

Y/s/n grips his mother's hand a bit tighter.

„Please, follow me, Mrs. Tsugikuni.“, Mei says and gestures towards the entrance of their mansion.

„Please, call me, y/n.“, y/n says, „After all we will be working closely together.“

Mei nods and responds: „Gladly, I'm Mei.“

Mei leads her inside the house. It's of traditional build but the decoration is eye-catching. The theme is clearly fire, which considering that this is the flame pillar's house, shouldn't be surprising. Red flowers in gold-rimmed vases decorate the hall and the family's crest hangs high above the entrance to the next room.

Mei gives y/n and y/s/n a tour around the mansion including the quarter in which the Tsugikunis will be staying. It's somewhat bigger than their room at the Ubuyashikis. Y/s/n has their own little room in which the Rengokus already placed some toys which the boy eyes with sparkling eyes.

Mei then takes them to the gardens where their husbands are drinking some tea while three children are playing with a ball on the grass.

„Already done showing them around?“, Ryo asks his wife. Yoriichi looks up and meets y/n's eyes. She gives him a quick smile. She can see that Yoriichi also doesn't feel completely comfortable in this new environment.

„No, not yet, I want to show y/n the workshop next. I just figured it's not a place for children.“, Mei answers and turns to y/s/n. „Would you like to meet my kids?“, she asks him and holds out a hand to him. After short consideration, y/s/n takes it.

„Kyo, Sho, Rei! Come here, I'd like you to meet someone!, Mei shouts and leads y/s/n in the direction of the playing children. Y/n watches them carefully.

„So, y/n, I heard you're some kind of pharmacist? It'll be good to have you around here.“, Ryo addresses her.

She turns to the head of the Rengoku family and nods. „Yes, I am and I look forward to learning from your wife.“, she tells him.

Ryo gives her a lopsided grin. „You say that now, but my wife can be a real menace while she's working. … or maybe it's just me getting the short end of the stick when it gets stressful around her.“, he laughs.

Y/n is surprised at his open demeanor. Somehow she expected the flame pillar to be more strict. Maybe not as stoic as Yoriichi, but hardly anyone ever is.

„I've just been telling your husband that we have quite a few apprentices around here. Next to slaying demons myself, I do my best to teach the next generation to defend themselves against Muzan's demons.“, Ryo tells her.

„It's always good to have a look at the future.“, y/n answers and Ryo nods smilingly.

„I felt like you would get that. Actually, I still can remember when Yoriichi taught his breathing techniques to me and some other swordsmen. Of course, we never got close to Yoriichi's abilities, but still...“, Ryo chatters away.

Y/n's eyes widen. „Yoriichi taught you?“, she says in disbelief. She really can't imagine Yoriichi as a teacher. Doesn't somebody need, like, social skills for that?

Ryo lets out another hearty laugh. „Yes, and he was brutal! I couldn't move a single muscle at the end of the day for the first four months training with him!“, he tells her.

Yoriichi buries his face in his teacup while y/n gawks at him in utter disbelief. Ryo laughs some more at that and hits Yoriichi's back to the point that he has to cough up his tea.

„Can't believe you didn't tell your wife this!“, Ryo laughs. Yoriichi's face starts to turn red.

„Ryo, don't embarrass your guest!“, Mei scolds her husband as she returns to their sides. Y/n's gaze flickers to her son who now is joining the ball game of the three Rengoku children.

„Y/n, would you like to see your workshop?“, Mei adverts her attention back to y/n.

Y/n smiles and quickly nods. Sorry, Yoriichi, seems like you have to endure that a little bit longer, she thinks, not that I'm totally curious about your past with Ryo.

Mei leads her back inside and to a corridor that she showed her earlier that she labeled „hospital wing“.

„Do you get many injured slayers here?“, y/n asks while counting the rooms that are reserved for patients. Mei nods.

„Yes, many slaysers stay with us after their training with my husband. Thus we often have slayers that return hurt after a mission.“, she tells her and leads y/n further down the corridor.

„Alright, here it is, your own little workshop.“, Mei announces and pulls open a door opposite the nursing office.

Y/n peeks inside but Mei ushers her inside completely.

„We had it refurbished before you came here. I've had it stocked as far as I could guess what you'll need. If anything is missing or you need ingredients for your medicine, please let me know.“, she tells y/n.

Y/n takes a look around. Everything seems perfectly fine. The Rengokus definitely didn't spare any expenses.

„This is fantastic.“, she tells Mei who smiles contently in return.

„I'm glad you say that. I've also written a list of products that we need all the time. You know, like disinfectants, antipyretic remedies, and other basic things.“, she tells y/n.

„Perfect, then I can get to work right away.“, y/n smiles and Mei gives her a nod.

„Feel free to update the list at will. I'm sure you know many more useful remedies than I do.“, Mei says.

„I will. I also can't wait to learn from you, Mei.“, y/n replies.

Mei laughs and leads her back outside.

„Well, for today just let's get you settled.“, Mei points out and leads her back to their husbands.

„Alright, you see when the wound is torn like this, you need to stitch it differently than if it was a clean cut.“, Mei points out. Y/n keeps her eyes fixed on the slayer's wound while trying to hold his shoulders down as Mei starts stitching him up.

The past few days y/n stocked up the medicine cabinet as well as she could. However, there are some ingredients missing so she can't work further until they've arrived. Thus, she uses the opportunity to follow Mei around and learn more about practical medicine.

Y/n came to the conclusion that she is little to no helpful when it comes to anything other than applying salves. Even her bandage wrappings are not as good as she thought they were.

Nevertheless, Mei is a patient teacher. Actually, y/n likes to be around the flame pillar's wife. She's kind but determined and a good leader. She takes no rude or whiny behaviour by the slayers in her care and is good at ordering the other nurses around in a polite but firm way.

Everybody in the mansion respects Mei. At first, y/n tought it's due to her position as the flame pillar's wife but soon she understood that the people around her respected her for herself.

„Y/n, take a break. Go get some lunch. I think your husband is training in the gardens, take some lunch out for him too.“, Mei tells her as she finishes the stitches and wraps a bandage around the slayer's leg.

Y/n nods and bows before leaving the room. She makes her way to the kitchen. On her way there, she peeks into one of the rooms where the children are practicing their calligraphy with a teacher. Mei proposed that y/s/n could join her children in their daily lessons. Y/n felt a bit insecure about y/s/n being ready for that but Yoriichi convinced her that the boy can only grow if he is challenged.

So far, y/s/n seems to love his lessons.

Y/n sighs as she turns the corner to the kitchen. Some maids already spotted her and greet her with deep bows. It still weirds her out how everybody is so overly polite towards her. Almost as polite as they are towards the head of the house. It's probably to them worshipping Yoriichi and she's his wife.

The cook gives her two bentos and some tea which she carefully balances towards the gardens. She has some trouble sliding the door open since her hands are full but once she can slide her foot in between the door and the frame, she pushes it open more easily.

Soft sunshine meets her eyes, blinding her for a second. Then, she makes out some fighting figures at a close distance. Y/n puts down the tea and bentos and sits down on the wooden porch. Her gaze is immediately drawn to Yoriichi who is standing not far from her, with a wooden sword fighting Ryo Rengoku.

Y/n watches her husband silently and carefully. Yoriichi has a concentrated look on his face. To others, it might not seem different as he usually looks, but y/n can see that he's deeply in the zone. Calling him out for lunch now would be rude. Instead, she decides to observe them for a little bit.

Yoriichi takes a careful step to the right. Ryo follows his suit. Then, quickly, Yoriichi makes a sharp half-spin. His feet slide over the grass effortlessly as if he's spinning in a dance. Ryo attempts to do the same by going in the other direction, but he's not as quick or smooth on his feet. However, when Yoriichi sets out to strike, he successfully blocks the strike with his wooden sword. The 'clank' of two wood pieces meeting each other is heard through the yard.

Y/n watches them silently as they exchange blows until Ryo notices her sitting on the porch. He's distracted for a moment and Yoriichi hits the side of his arm with a heavy blow. Ryo yelps and clutches his arm.

„You're too distracted.“, Yoriichi tells him and Ryo gives him a lopsided grin.

„I'm surprised you're not. After all, it's your lovely wife that's been watching us.“, he points out.

Yoriichi straightens his posture and lowers his sword.

„If I was a demon and that was your wife, you'd be dead now and the demon would devour her.“, he points out. Ryo rubs the back of his head.

„Sure, but if you don't pay attention to your wife once in a while you'll lose her one way or another.“, he shrugs. Yoriichi doesn't reply anthing to that and y/n has to stifle her laughter. She's not surprised that Yoriichi's mind would never wander there. He's not the type.

However, Yoriichi wordlessly turns to y/n at that and y/n lifts up the bento.

„I brought you lunch.“, she tells him.

„Wow, Yoriichi, you're a lucky man. Your wife comes all the way here to bring you lunch, isn't that sweet?“, Ryo laughs and pokes Yoriichi's arm with his elbow.

„It was actually your wife's idea.“, you clarify.

„And she didn't join you to bring lunch for me too?“, Ryo complains and y/n has to laugh.

„I think she still needs to tend to some of her patients.“, you defend Mei.

Ryo scratches the back of his head. „She always works so hard.“, he sighs. „Guess, I'll be the one taking lunch to her then.“, he decides, „You two enjoy your break!“.

After Ryo wandered off, Yoriichi joins y/n on the porch. She pours him a tea that is only lukewarm by now but he doesn't complain. She hands him his bento before opening her own. For a while, they eat in silence.

„Do you enjoy being here?“, Yoriichi suddenly asks her. Y/n is startled by the question. Does he worry that I regret my decision?, she thinks.

When she doesn't immediately answer, Yoriichi adds: „We can always leave if you don't.“

„N-no, no! It's fine. I actually like it here. Mei is a great teacher and I like working with her. Plus, y/s/n seem to like it here too, I think.“, she tells him.

Yoriichi hums in agreement. His eyes are fixed on something in the distance. Y/n thinks he's done with the conversation but suddenly, he says.

„I think he really looks up to Ryo's boys. I've seen him watch them train with their father.“, he informs y/n.

Y/n thinks about that for a moment before answering: „Do you think he's interested in swordsmanship?“.

Yoriichi only shrugs. Y/n ponders about that for a while. Actually, it wouldn't surprise her if y/s/n did. He doesn't only look up to Kyo and Sho, but to Yoriichi as well. I guess it's only natural that he wants to be like his father, she thinks.

It takes her a moment to realize what she just thought. Am I really seeing Yoriichi as his father? Or rather, should I really?

„Your heartbeat just picked up. Are you alright?“, Yoriichi rips her out of her thoughts.

Damn you Yoriichi and your supernatural perception, she curses him.

„Just worried what could happen if y/s/n would really want to pick up swordsmanship.“, she quickly tells him.

Yoriichi hums again before saying: „You're right. It's probably better if he doesn't.“

They sit in silence for a while. Y/n tries to stare into the distance the same way Yoriichi does but she's getting antsy. She feels like she should say more but she's not sure what.

Suddenly, she feels Yoriichi hand at her hair.

„A bug.“, he says plucking it out and snipping it away. Y/n blushes and her heartbeat picks up again. She didn't notice that Yoriichi was looking at her. Please don't mention the heartbeat again, she begs him internally.

Yoriichi reaches out to her again and the back of his index finger softly grazes her cheek. Looking up at him, she sees him watching her with his maroon eyes. Anything that she could possibly say to him right now is stuck in her throat. Her mind wanders back to when he kissed her and part of her wishes he would do it again.

Yoriichi lets his hand sink down and a few seconds later the door behind them slides open. He must've heard it before I did, y/n concludes.

Ryo, Kyo and y/s/n enter the porch.

„Mr. Yoriichi, Mr. Yoriichi! We're finished with today's lessons! Would you train us now?“, Ryo exclaims and his bother nods excitedly. „Yeah, you promised, Mr. Yoriichi!“, Kyo supports his brother.

Yoriichi's eyes shift to y/s/n who is still standing next to the Rengoku boys.

„Y/s/n is still too young to train.“, he tells them.

„What? He's not much younger than me!“, Kyo puffs and y/s/n bops his head up and down in agreement.

Yoriichi glances over to y/n. She understands what he means. It's her call to make. She takes in y/s/n for a moment. He's grown quite a bit since Yoriichi arrived first at their doorstep. No, he also changed in other ways. He's more confident nowadays. It's surprising to her that he gets along so well with the Rengoku boys. Boys like that would usually eat him alive in their village.

The boy can only grow if he is challenged. Yoriichi's words ring in her ears.

„Fine, I guess it's alright if he learns a bit to defend himself.“, y/n gives in and the boys cheer in delight. They take off to change clothes and get their wooden swords.

„You sure you've got time for this?“, she asks Yoriichi as she watches the boys disappear again.

Yoriichi nods. „I won't be going on a mission tonight, so it's alright.“, he tells her.

Y/n's heart skips a beat at that. She's always glad when Yoriichi spends the night in their quarters rather than out there fighting demons. Also, she likes having him next to her. Often, her mind wanders back to their honeymoon and that two-person futon. She wonders what it would feel like to sleep so close to him.

„Alright, then.“, she says standing up, „I wish you luck with these rascals. I've got to go back to work.“

She picks up the bentos and the leftover tea. Meanwhile, the boys come back to the porch with their swords. Before she goes back inside she watches them and Yoriichi take off onto the yard again.

She sighs wondering if it really is a good decision to let y/s/n practice swordsmanship.

- You and Jack were passing through somewhere, with you getting him ready for his match against Heracles. But however, on the way, you two had overheard a few Gods talking shit about you. Some even considered raping you, which was the one thing that made Jack stop. You didn’t seem to mind since... you were much too kind of a person, but Jack sure did. 

- He allowed himself to get pulled away by you, but made exact sure to remember the faces of those minor Gods. No one else is gonna remember them anyways, so why should Jack not murder them? Especially when they were whispering about RAPING you. Yeah, no. 

- Jack will reassure you that he’s okay at first, and will continue on with his day. But... he’s pretty sure you know quite well that he’s still bothered by those Gods from before. 

- The thing is that Jack can’t knock you out either. You... are really fucking tough- Even if you just had your round of Ragnarok, you quite literally breezed through it, and came back with nothing but a few scratches. If Jack tries to knock you out, you’ll of course brush it off after catching his hand. But you’d have your eye on him after that, which is something he doesn’t need for you to do. 

- You sleeping won’t work either. You’re a shallow sleeper. You’re always on guard as well. A job as a Demon Slayer honed your senses and you just can’t let go of them, even while sleeping. So, that’s a no no. 

- Jack decided to go while you were taking a shower. And that was perfect. 

- It was extremely satisfying to finally get rid of them, especially with how kind you were. You never let him kill people, even if they had done bad things unless it were necessary. Jack saw it as completely justified. If he got a small hit to the head for it, he would see it as completely worth it. No one is going to talk about his s/o like that. 

- Jack made sure the session was painful for the entire group before returning t you, completely covered in blood. 

- Hlökk was fucking screaming the entire time, which only made Jack’s annoyance worse. But he came back home, still covered in blood. He didn’t even give you a chance to do anything, since you were already trapped on the bed, getting smothered with cuddles and blood. 

- You knew exactly what he had done, too. It was practically impossible not to when he was this deep into protecting and loving you. You really had no choice but to let it happen, even if you had tried to get him to take a shower. Both of you had to take one. Again. 

- Well, even if you were strong, you supposed that a few more cuddle sessions wouldn’t hurt. So, even if Jack was completely bloody, you just went along with it, being fine with whatever had smothered onto you. 

- At least Jack knows that he might be able to do this again. He’s not going to let you pull him away next time if this happens again. But he will get you in a cuddle session again if someone dares to be an asshole-

Reader is pretty short and seems like a weak hashira but nuh uh, don't judge a book by its cover. Okay, so we’re Yoriichi once again. He does deserve the love so it makes sense, ima just pretend we are Yoriichi. Also Muzan does deserve some beatings so let’s go along with this

Kokushibo

Kokushibo feels the anarchy drop before him with his jaw, when he first meets you. You look helpless, unable to lift up a sword but you can easily square up with Muzan. He should be afraid but he isn’t, he is interested

Kokushibo is obsessed with seeing you after you beat the living hell into his Lord. He wants to learn more about you and his mind rots with that need. He doesn’t care to walk around the morning to find you again

Kokushibo loves admiring all kinds of random parts of you, alongside his passionate love. Your hobbies, your habits, your height, your patterns and schedules. He knows all of it down to the core and stalks you at night to see them again

Douma

Douma cannot believe a mere human can lay hands on Muzan, ever since the longtime threat Yoriichi was disposed off. Douma almost wants to congratulate you, he is very impressed by you and your skills, despite how useless your tiny body looks

Douma eventually grows so insane for you, that doing literally anything is a challenge for him. He can’t stand being away from you, you’ve taken his heart away when you slapped the oblivion out of his Lord. What does he have to do to get you?!

Douma leaves gifts at your doorstep every morning and every night, on repeat. The style he expresses his horrific affection for you is to spoil you rotten, he can easily get this gifts and he doesn’t care to brave the woods for you. He blindly believes that he is winning you over with each gift

Akaza

Akaza is beyond shocked, his world breaks when he witnesses the smackdown of the year, dealt by a scrawny petite Hashira to the actual King of Demons and how effortlessly you did it, he is both shocked and impressed, what a incredible human! He thinks and thinks for days, if not months

Akaza originally just wanted to train to be able to beat you, you become his rival but then that temporary rivalry turns into a soul-devouring adoration. Turning his views and last ounce of morality into mush, he needs you and he needs you so bad

Akaza doesn’t understand why you want to kill Muzan with your stupid fellow Hashira. Why are you wasting your care on them, they are below you and he is, to a extend, but he doesn’t care. He will be near you as much as he possibly can, rather you be asleep or not

Hi this is my first time doing this so I am so sorry if what I’m asking for is confusing. Could you do Fem! of GN! Reader that is Arkhamverse Jason Todd with Muzan, Kokushibo, Douma, and Akaza(separate). If you aren’t aware of who Arkham Jason Todd is; he basically gets tortured by the Joker for a year or two and all that mental manipulation for him to hate Batman. So in Batman: Arkham Knight, he appeared there as the Arkham Knight to kill Batman, at there were times he almost succeeded. So for this request, I was thinking that the reader does get tortured for a year or two(so they are mentally fucked up) and while being tortured, their captor just shows them pictures of their s/o with someone else. Which means their captor is manipulating the reader into believing that their s/o had just replaced them like that.(Which does not correlate with what actually happened). And so for things to line up in this universe, capability wise, the reader would be more like Darth Vader(weapon, fighting style, force: maybe, suit: maybe; I’m so sorry that I’m doing a lot of crossovers; I apologize if I am being overwhelming). The reader was manipulated to hate their s/o, and want to kill them(not by actual will, the reader is confused and needs help). The reader and their s/o had a few run ins, and the reader got close to killing them a few times. So perhaps on one of the run-ins they have, the reader gets unmasked(they intentionally do it) and their s/o is just shocked that they were alive. And just what their reaction and response would be to this, and would go on from here. Would the s/o or reader die? Do they somehow clear this misunderstanding? I came with this request purely for angst with a hint of comfort, but please do have fun with this. And so sorry for the confusion I might have gave you.

Delusional Mistakes

(Characters Included- Muzan, Kokushibo, and Akaza)

(Warning: Manga spoilers for Akaza’s part, angst, swearing, death)

About the reader: Reader is human and has a mask. Reader has whatever abilities you want it’s up to you but the strength of the abilities are Upper Rank level, the reason reader has the abilities is because of the person that tortured them.

🩸Muzan Kibutsuji🩸

- When you got kidnapped he was angry. He immediately got one of the Upper Moons to look for you before something bad happens. He couldn’t concentrate on anything due to the stress, which that only made him more angry. When the Upper rank he sent to look for you came back with no results, he lashed out calling them useless for failing to meet his expectations.

The first time you two battled he was surprised that you even stood a chance against him. When you came barely close to killing him he was terrified, the fearful memories of Yoriichi replayed over and over in his head like a broken record. He slashed your face with a powerful blow, causing your mask to break and his red eyes widen.

“What the hell, Y/N what’s gotten into you?” Muzan said, still wrapping his head around the fact that you’re still alive.

“You should ask that to yourself. You fucking replaced me for some nobody!” You shouted, anger cycling through your veins.

This enraged the Demon Lord, “How dare you accuse me of that. You know what since you want to accuse me of replacing you, I think I might will.”

Almost immediately after he spoke those words he struck you with a quick attack, in which you dodged but got off balance. Suddenly he appeared behind you, putting his arm straight through your head, instantly killing you.

“Goodbye, former lover.”

🌙Kokushibo🌙

- When you disappeared he went looking for you, he found it very strange that you just suddenly went missing. So he looked around for a few weeks but when there was no luck he stopped. He destroyed some pillars in his room out of frustration before sitting on the floor, feeling the sadness and grief hanging on his shoulders. Eventually he moved on as time went passed.

When you decided to attack him he was confused on why a person would randomly target him like that but he didn’t think too much about it. He was mesmerized by your abilities so he offered you to become a demon and get stronger.

“As if I would want to send eternity in this world knowing that assholes like you exist.”

When you bluntly rejected his offer he was shocked, not because of the rejection but because of your voice. He recognized it. He grabbed your mask and ripped it off, revealing your face. He puts his blade back in its holder, dropping the intention of killing you.

“Y/N-”

“Shut it Kokushibo, there is no talking this out. Any questions you have will never be answered so drop it.” You spit out.

“Is that so?” He questioned even though he knew the answer.

He took his blade and sliced your head off to ensure of a quick death. To his surprise he felt tears running down his face, he had thought he moved on from you but it turns out that couldn’t be further from the truth.

🏀Akaza🏀

- When you went missing, he was determined to find you. He searched for months and months on end until he finally gave up. He was so tired of searching for months only for no sign of you, but just because he gave up doesn’t mean he doesn’t love you anymore, he still loves you greatly. He feels so angry that you got taken away from him, he will never forgive the foolish person who took you away.

When you attacked him for the first time he didn’t think much of it. He just brushed it off as a random person trying to look for a fight. Though he was very amazed by your strength, he wanted to fight you for eternity.

You were fighting him for hours, desperate to kill your former lover in which you believed that he was a cheater. One of Akaza’s Air Technique attacks hit your mask, shattering it to pieces. He halted all his movements when he saw your face, his non-beating heart dropped to his stomach.

Was that really you? Was he fighting his beloved this entire time? “Y/N? Why are you doing this and where were you this whole time? He questioned.

“Because we had such good times together so I thought we would be together for eternity but I couldn’t have been anymore wrong.” You said with a voice filled with disgust and hatred, running towards him with a lighting speed, tackling him on the ground.

Akaza was still stunned by your words, still wrapping his head around everything. “What the hell are you talking about? What happened? Did someone manipulate you into believing something that is not true?” He said, refusing to attack you, all he wanted now was for you to be your normal self again.

You grab him by the throat, looking into his eyes with a sinister smile on your face. “You reap what you sow, Akaza.”

As Akaza was about to question you again he felt the the sharp burning of the sun on his skin. He made the quick decision to run but unfortunately for him, you weren’t gonna have that. You held him firmly in place with your immense superhuman strength, watching his flesh burn as you laughed maniacally.

He was stunned by your strength, you definitely gotten stronger since the last he saw you. As he was burning up he saw memories of when he was a human, remembering his old lover who he used to love when he was 18 years old.

He looked at you and smiled softly, hugging you while whispering a small “Welcome back, Koyuki..” You froze as those words caught you off guard, watching as Akaza faded away. You have no clue why but you have tears in your eyes.

OKAY SO. I MIGHT JUST BE CRAZY

SO IN DEMON SLAYER THERE'S THESE TWO CHARACTERS CALLED OBANAI AND MITSURI

And they are quite possibly my favorite shounen couple ever.

So to give a basic rundown of their stories, both are very accomplished demon slayers (titled "pillars" because they support the whole organization), and they got the job for VERY different reasons.

Obanai was abused by his family. Rich aristocrats, who got their wealth due to the atrocities committed by a demon, they usually sacrificed all the boys that were born to said demon, but Obanai's heterochromia caught her attention, and he was left to live until he was older. Eventually, an older Slayer saved him and killed the demon (in the process causing the deaths of several members of the family), but the experience heavily traumatized Obanai - he feels at fault due to a relative of him blaming him for their deaths, he is afraid of women due to the demon's abuse, and he cannot eat regularly due to the abuse he endured. He goes into the Corps as a form of repentance - he kills demons and saves people to compensate for his cursed blood.

Mitsuri's situation is very different. She had a family that supported her, but she was born different. Her muscles are incredibly dense, which makes her physical strength very impressive, and her need for food very high (which had the side effect of causing her hair to turn partially pink). Sadly, though, that caused her to be rejected from society - when she was about to get married, her fiancé rejected her, telling her that her strength, hair and appetite were disgusting, and only a beast would settle for her. She hid her strength, dyed her hair and didn't eat nearly enough, living half of a life so someone would accept her. Then the leader of the Corps told her to use her strength to help people, because she was a wonderful person and shouldn't waste her talents. She saves people and kills demons because she finally found a place for herself, and in this she wants to find a husband, someone who is stronger than her so her strength isn't seen as a curse.

I could go insane over the two as a couple in general, but I'll save that for later. For now, let's get into Muzan and Yoriichi

Muzan is the king of demons, and the original person to BE a demon. As a child, he was incredibly frail and sickly, and his doctors all warned him that he'd die before he became an adult. One doctor, though, gave him a medicine that fixed his issues, and made his body much stronger, but it seemed to have some weird side effects. His body craved human blood, though that wasn't a big issue; the really bad thing was the face that he couldn't walk in the sunlight anymore, so after killing his doctor he used his newly acquired immortality to search for the thing that could fix that and make him a truly godlike being

Meanwhile, since he was a child, Yoriichi seemed very different from other people. He always had a sort of pleasant aura around him, and could see the inner workings of things without any effort. One day, while his twin was practicing swordfighting, his teacher seemed curious to see how Yoriichi would fair. What followed was him being utterly destroyed, Yoriichi striking four times in a mere moment and making him unconscious. This made Yoriichi be celebrated by his family, but he truly didn't want this level of fame - he ran away, and found the Demon Slaying Corps. He joined them, and taught them the way of Breathing Techniques, though they could never be as strong as he was. He finally found a place where he belonged, though even then he was never like the others near him, and they eventually rejected him too when he failed to kill Muzan.

So we have a cursed child, sickly and weak, who is fated to die at a young age but is saved by others, who hates their nature and tries to go against it, and an incredibly kind, blessed soul, who is unlike everyone else in their life, but never managed to find a home. The difference, in these cases, is that Obanai was kind and Mitsuri found her people. It's that Obanai was grateful to his savior and the Slayers accepted Mitsuri.
