Like just go to bed, Shaquille! Can barely make out a word that man was saying anyway. Just be honest in your support. Just say, “I only began watching this year” or “I just fully paid attention in 2024”. But stop downplaying and projecting your non-support out of your personal context.

And yet again, the sexism just can’t ever NOT seep out, huh? No matter what the ladies do, it won’t ever be enough for most male viewers like Shaq. The fact that aesthetics was even part of his conversation at all w/ basketball let’s us know how archaic and sexist he is. Basketball, looks and clothes. Which of these don’t belong? And no, the solution ain’t lowering the rim. How long is that gonna be the go-to fake solver of viewership? The ladies have said they don’t want to have the rim lowered because of muscle memory w/ the height it’s at now! And besides, lowering the rim won’t make for more dunks for the ladies!

And not to get all detailed and all that but I don’t know if some men have to be reminded but the physical makeup of women and men is very different. There are bodily parts between women and men that move about extremely differently during exertion. Naturally, women’s bodies have very unique attributes that men don’t have to be able to possibly do a very amazing thing (of bringing forth life) and that alone makes for how the body differs in physiology and how the bodies function and move because of that. What women’s bodies go through monthly is very different from men. With all that in mind, if anyone thinks a lowered rim will make for more dunks from the ladies, then just don’t watch. The ladies don’t need dunks to win and play a sport they love and entertain us! I don’t even think they want to be dunking all the time like that anyway.

FAIR SHARE of revenue is what they’re asking for. None of them is asking to match NBA salary but they just want to receive the same share percentage as their male counterparts. Even with that said and in response to a part of Shaq’s interview, NBA benchwarmers who never get a lick of minutes still make more than WNBA starters most of the time.

And besides, just stop comparing the two leagues. One is a whole great grandfather with great-great grandkids while the other is just getting around to her late 20s. However, the league has gone thru highs and lows just as the NBA has. Viewership hasn’t always been a steady high nor have sales and attendance every single season for the NBA and it’s been around for just about 100 years almost. Allow the W to also go through its wins, loses and gains. Viewership and sales and attendance and online engagement has been on the up and up for the last 5 seasons for the W. It’s way too much non-objectivity when men start speaking on the WNBA.

And didn’t we tell y’all to wrap up all these stale, tired and through non-narratives as soon as the Finals were complete?! Lower the rim and the recycled and regurgitated Clark stuff. It’s old! All the rookies of 2024 are sophomores now. Quit it.

another blue lock rant (act surprised) and i’m just gonna talk about pxg and bastard and how their match might go down, taking a page outta ego’s book, through personal bias and like 5% data from the manga

sooo manga spoilers for the neo egoist league arc

idk it feels like france is gonna be the final boss of the neo egoist arc, right ??? rin, shidou, loki, karasu, nanase, and zantetsu ???? it feel like they’re setting up foils such as rin vs isagi, shidou vs kunigami or kaiser or both fuck it, loki vs noa- if they decide to play, nanase vs ness, and zantetsu with like idk yukki or something if anything zantetsu’ll be moral support LMFAO i just wanna see zantetsu again fr idc if he’s on the bench 😭

anyways assuming karasu and nanase make the starting line up (we already know rin and shidou did) there could be some really interesting matchups when bastard finally plays against them. especially now that isagi has gone up many levels and kunigami only had a few moments to shine so far in the fc and msc matches and they have to prove wild card program did something right ? and kunigami could get his revenge on shidou for eliminating him in the first place. 

the way kaiser could serve as a rival for rin, shidou, OR loki to be honest LMFAOO he’s bastard’s strongest player and the player closest to sae in terms of skill level so rin could wanna duke it out w him ykwim but no doubt this match is gonna focus on him and isagi, it’s been between them since the second selection and it’s definitely not gonna stop cause of kaiser. and loki is an up and coming player at SEVENTEEN ?? he and kaiser could have an interesting matchup, if they sub him in. and shidou loooovess a strong player so he might wanna challenge kaiser and yk kaiser will throw some wild insults back at him LMAOO plus they’re both unpredictable and have pretty good physical strength i mean

well if all else, kaiser could be locked down by karasu so he could show his improvement since u20 when he was holding defense together

nanase has always been a good support/passer so i could see him running into troubles with ness (assuming nanase even makes the starting line up and ness actually does shit) but i think ness actually WILL contribute this time considering he disappeared the second half of msc vs bm, he needs his own little moment or obstacle. but i also think unless loki TOUGHENED up nanase, he might be too passive for someone as sadistic as ness but i have faith in my fruity little guy

IF ANYTHING... i think nanase and hiori could be an interesting match up. hiori has been studdyinngg bastard, fc, and manshine since the start and there’s no way noa isn’t picking up on that. we need to see what hiori learned and how he improved or maybe they could save hiori’s growth for the italy game since he’s known for getting through tight spaces and italy is stacked on defense fr but we’re assuming france is the final boss and we’ve already played through italy

BUUUTT karasu and yukimiya were teammates before, so having them as rivals now could be interesting, like nanase and hiori. karasu could prove to understand yuki and he’d be another good obstacle for yuki to overcome. and yuki, now that he has his new gyro shot, he could be a harder player for karasu to defend against. 

i could definitely see karasu being all over the place, kinda like chigiri and otoya. also zantetsu, if he’s on the starting line up, can be like karasu’s support as we saw he’s able to attack and defend in the first selection. he would be able to cover the empty spaces that karasu might not be able to cover if he’s busy with kaiser or yukimiya

karasu could play a big role in locking bastard down and holding up defense, we know he can do it as we saw in u20. and maybe similarly to u20, karasu could be supported by nanase and zantetsu like how chigiri and niko were running around and manmarking and reo and hiori were subbed in and able to cover defense more

also it would be a good final match to conclude. everyone would be going against their foil, as mentioned earlier, and someone better than them. 

rin and isagi, it’s obvious what they’ve got going on.

kunigami and shidou need to settle their rivalry, seeing shidou again could trigger something in kunigami

whoever kaiser will matchup with, they’ll have to evolve a shit ton in order to make moves on him like isagi did. unless it’s rin. personally, i think having rin and kaiser AT LEAST MEET is a good way to reveal kaiser knows sae and crushed him in their game together which caused sae to switch positions

but counterpoint could be rin completely has detached himself from sae after u20 and was set on being THE best so it would be a little harder for kaiser to get a rise outta him by just mentioning sae. but idk maybe kaiser revealing he was the one who started the catalyst of rin’s biggest turning point of his life could trigger something, kinda like what happened with rin and leonardo luna

and you know kaiser’s gonna be a piece of shit about it too. rin could score the first goal and kaiser will say “oh well, would you look at that?! so that’s what sae itoshi’s little brother is capable of, hm?”

and he’s gonna pull another

trying to figure out kaiser’s role now that isagi locked him down is a little difficult. but what’s also difficult to figure out is HOW THE HELL JULIEN LOKI GOT RIN AND SHIDOU TO COOPERATE W EACH OTHER

as kind and polite loki looks, i think the obvious creative choice is for him to be an absolute monster. from what we’ve seen of him so far, he’s got a stern voice and he’s got quite a lot of say between the top five. judging by the way the top five DEGRADED bllk’s top player, they have to have respect for loki.

if france is the last game, i have NO IDEA how kaiser and isagi’s relationship/rivalry could even begin to develop from the ending of msc vs bm LMAOO if italy comes after, i don’t really have any creative ideas other than they try to work together but fr just can’t. and idk maybe they have some magical chemical reaction in this game for the sake of crushing rin or shidou or both again fuck it but who knows

anyways that’s all i have im desperate to see pxg play but i will sit happily through the italy game if it makes france the final boss

tbh i am soooo in love with, like, 99% of them. the only character i am actually annoyed by is barou but i also feel like he could grow on me with a few more chapters, yk? oh! just to clarify, i've read up to chp 71!! so some spoilers up until then incoming :) i'm a little insane as i get ready to keep reading. i skipped out on a party to do this LMAO. so favorites! but not in any order because i can't do that!

bachiraaaaa!!! oh my god he is my boy. he is everything to me. just,,, you expect me to read the words "there is a monster inside of me" and expect me to NOT go insane abt it? he plays because it's fun and he's at blue lock to find someone who has the same monster, the same desire and passion, he is SO much and i am obsessed with it. literally the moment he stole the ball from isagi in the tag game they played, i KNEW. he's my type of character fr. rin telling him that "you're searching for someone with your soccer" i'm gonna fucking scream. oh and also he's the sleepy boy representation that i need, so.

reo.... i just think he has sooooo many issues and they are so so so interesting. like, this is a character who gets everything he wants and then the one thing he really desires is just out of his reach. he is so broken up about nagi, too, and i loooove to see that in my pathetic little men. top ten things that had made me insane so far: reo saying "have you forgotten our promise" in reference to him saying they're going to be the best in the world, followed immediately by nagi saying that he's the one who's forgotten their promise, in reference to reo saying "let's play soccer." i'm literally howling at the moon. screeching at the sun like a bat. i am going crazy over this.

isagi!! tbh idk if i'm really usually a main character person, but i'm a little in love with isagi. he's just. SO interesting. every time he talks about devouring other players' skills and making them his own....i am literally losing my mind. in the game against chigiri, kunigami, and reo, when isagi talks about devouring barou's darkness and turning it into light....catch me literally screaming out loud about him. his growth and "leveling up" is SO much fun to watch/read and i AM dying over it. every time he learns a new weapon or figures out how to better use one, i AM in my bed pumping my fist and screaming go best friend you go best friend!!! i believe the next chp is the game against bachira, rin, aryu, and tokimitsu, and i can already feel myself losing it a little bit.

chigiri! i'm not as insane about him as i am about the others, but i do love him very very much. the "i play for that joy i felt the first time i outran someone" and the "for as long as my legs work i want to play soccer" moments genuinely had me crying no joke. and his whole deal at the very start with "i was looking for a way to give up" versus his growth to wanting to beat isagi and become the best in the world... i am sooo unwell about it. in, like, fifty chapters he's grown SO much and i am so excited to see where he goes from here. and i think the match up between him and aryu is gonna be reeeaaalllyyyy interesting, too!! super excited to see how that pulls through. ahhh. he's just soooo.

the thing is just that this show was, like, TAILOR MADE to all of my interests. it's sooo high stakes and for what. it's my favorite sport in real life. it has characters who need therapy for real. god. yeah.

i'm still sooo mad abt ronin. like the season he's introduced in is his best characterization so it's all downhill from there

his arc in s5 is good, alright? we learn of him as a greedy bastard the ninjas hate cuz he wronged them in the past (in a non-canon video game i never played). and it's like. they all have to work with each other but they fucking hate it. ronin is just in it for the money

and it's explained that he's this way cuz in the past he sold his soul to soul archer and he needs the money to buy it back. and that like. makes sense! it makes sense why he wants money so much, even if its never said why he sold his soul in the first place (or was scammed out of it) and it explains why ronin cuts the ninja a deal for the deepstone to let them fight ghosts. (even if its. a bad deal. its one they can afford. what does he want witha teahouse anyway.)

but he only really starts changing when he hangs around nya. nya doesnt have a grudge against him like the other guys. but nya is stressed and putting a lot of expectations on herself. so he encourages her by having no expectations of her whatsoever. and only by taking a slice of ronin's laid back nature can she actually succeed.

but in return, nya has no expectations of ronin either. he's just some shady guy to her. but yknow, he's impressed by her determination, and it makes him want to live up to her example. he wants to take something seriously for once.

and this eventually culminates in ronin trusting the ninja with his soul over his money. he throws it all away to help them. and this is like, a good arc, right? he trusts in them to defeat soul archer and morro and the preeminent so he doesn't need the money anymore.

so like. hey. why does he revert back immediatly in the next season.

like. skybound makes some Fucking Decisions, alright, i dont need to expound all of skybound's sins, of which they are many. but like

seriously? ronin sells out the ninja to the police. first of all, he trusted them with his soul at stake. where did that trust go? second of all, he no longer needs to buy his soul back. he has no more stakes for his greed. why does he still need money so badly? s5 implies that greed was part of ronin's nature, yes, but also something he was forced into for his life's sake.

this just. undoes everything. no more trust, especially between him and nya, when i loved their dynamic, and right back to his old scammer self.

so when he disappears from the show till the island. well. good riddance.

i wish he hadn't shown up in the island, honestly. i already dislike that special. it falls into a lot of bad tropes, and most of it is ronin's fault.

so in the island. ronin joins a band of thieves and sets up a fake sea monster to terrorize native people into giving up their treasury. fucking great. you just made ronin a shitbag falling into racist tropes. great.

and again. where did his development go? the resolve to be better? the willingness to put the wellbeing of others above his wealth? i would understand if its "a work in progress." if he stayed a shady trader, just with, slighty more morals.

but in the island, he has less scruples than possession introduced him with. at least there he ran a business, and not just a scam.

i just. it's so disappointing! ronin was a good character! i really did like him! he had fun banter with the ninja, and how his arc connects to nya's, how they both learn from each other, was really cool. but the show just threw it out

it's just a tendency with ninjago to do great character stuff and then never follow it up.

I don't listen to many full albums but for me it would have to be a tie between Give me the Future by Bastille and Impera by Ghost 3.Favorite musical artist / group you started listening to this year? Ghost 4.Movie of the year? Everything Everywhere All At Once! Like i don't even need to think about it. Unlike anything ive ever seen, so interesting and heartwearming. Excellent performances and costuming 5.TV show of the year? Oh man this one is touh bcs i had 3 shows ive been obsessed with this year…. Our Flag Means Death, Severance or Interview with the Vampire 6.Episode of tv or webisode that defined the year for you? Not defined the year but the best ep of anything ive seen this year was the the season finale ep of Severance. It was so excellent at keeping up the tension for the entirety of the ep. I was pacing and yelling and restless for the full length of it. Just amazing storytelling of everything coming to a head and the editing...my god!!!

I guess one would be Winnie an npc i made for a game who i put so little thought in. Like i needed a character to fullfill a certain role so i recycled an old oc design and gave her like 2 personalty traits. Then though as we played, we all ended up liking her way more than id planned so anyway now she's in the queue to be an upcoming pc for a dnd campaign (with a slight redesign)

this was so interesting to read! I’m putting my thoughts in a reblog because I tried to do a reply and then hit the character limit really fucking quick so. under the cut for me as well haha

since I can’t make any real statements on popularity within a3 I think this is more just me rambling about a3 characters / stuff I like…? haha

I do think that definitely a large part of my opinions on a3 r influenced by the fact that I’ve banned myself from the tag and like, have even blacklisted the #ichablogging a3 tag so I don’t stumble into any act 2 spoilers (which. if u see me pop up in ur activity all of a sudden it’s bc I’ve remember “oh ichas going thru act 1 summer rn” and then i carefully reveal all the posts I missed one by one lol)

anyways!! I was quite surprised abt summer being the most popular group, but I can also like. see it now that I think about it? summer definitely was what hooked me into a3 and I think like, that troupe and winter have very fun dynamics in how they deal with each other, though it goes like, opposite ends for the both of them. winter troupe for me is like… 100% my favorite group in terms of narrative I think? like I’m so engaged by any of their plays / events and I really do think about them a lot. I think they do have a distinct advantage in being the last of the bunch because they don’t really need to deal with any establishing setup (unlike spring, which had to establish the setting as well as the idea of event plays in the first place)… no one in winter struggles Too Much with like Learning To Act which really opens time up for a lot more stuff in their part of act 1 I feel? but I also feel like the inter-winter troupe dynamics are like, so fascinating. for example I was really worried I actually wouldn’t care too much about nocturnality because I actually don’t pay that much singular attention towards azuma or tasuku? but I was so invested in the dynamics of everything that like, that wasn’t necessarily a problem

and I feel like!! for me I’m not sure if I can say what character I Like the most because to me so much of it is about like, enjoying how characters interact with each other… if I had to pick a character on their own it might be yuki or homare since they both have such Personalities but even then I feel like so much of a3 characters is like how they respond to others and different situations etc. so like is that even relevant to me because when am I ever thinking of a3 characters without thinking about how they relate to each other? like I don’t think I’d pick kazunari as a favorite but then for some reason his interactions in the camping event w/ tsuzuru and sardine search are like soooo dear to me and I think about them all the time. and then I’ve created an intense fiction in my head abt the relationship dynamics between tenma yuki and juza which like. barely exists within the main story.

and man, clockwork heart is so ;; I liked tsuzuru from the start because like you said, it’s probably a deal of liking that he kind of does what I do as well, so he’s rather relatable but… that event is perhaps my favorite event out of everything? the story makes me feel sooo many things and the play itself is just. one I think about often.

I don’t really have a point to all of this I think! I just think that like, one of the strengths of this game is really how it highlights characters through like their dynamics with others I think… masumi for example who is the character im perhaps not like, wild about, is someone who I actually really enjoy when he’s interacting with his actual troupe members (like the event with tsumugi! so sweet)

(oh man and again what you say about tasuku! I would’ve had no idea ppl would be bitter about his clash with tsumugi… that was like my favorite thing because I really feel like. in the end they’re both motivated by the fact that they care for each other yknow? so that was what actually ended up really endearing me to him and making me feel like I was. I dunno. getting to know him better? which I think applies to banri as well… maybe im just a fan of conflict or something who knows)

gosh. once I get through act 2 I’m going to ramble SO HARD. I love these characters so much. also I need to see how my theories turn out. for an interesting bonus piece of information: the reason I got into a3 was through following you, obviously, but the very specific reason was that I saw a VERY COOL fanart reblogged by you of stray devil blues(?). I think it’s funny that for like the almost two years from then, I still haven’t gotten to that “reason” (or. act 2…. I’m working on it)

was having banri thoughts lately just bc like. why not right. and then i suddenly remember u mentioning that some ppl... did not like banri at the start? which is wild to me bc in my mind ive always been ride or die for him. like i love juza so much but i feel like. that doesnt rly oppose liking banris character as well? banri is such fun character drama at the beginning of autumn and then his and itarus dynamic is fun from the start... gosh and the acting in the final bits of the autumn troupe between him and juza! suchhh fun tension. like. idk. it just started making me think like wow. digging thru a3 on my own with mostly the influence of like, just you has probably skewed my opinion of what the common perception of a3 is like. for example in my head winter is the most popular troupe which... it maybe isnt? i feel like recently i saw u mention summer might be the most popular(? this couldve been a dream) and i didnt realize itaru was super popular until like. last month. i mean if i had to pick a character i thought was the most popular i'd pick. misumi.

yeah i doubt i'm exactly the "common a3 experience" but to be perfectly honest i haven’t really kept tabs on the fandom per se since hh mid-2020 when i started to dig into some tags and saw so much negativity i was just :/ and stopped doing so (the curse to liking rascals </3).

Nowadays my knowledge of the a3 fandom is mostly the people interreacting with me, which already generally means that they vibe with what i post, so it gives me a skewed vision of the fandom like, are we all like that? or are the loud voices that made me go avoid the tag still here yaknow?

For Banri, i'll admit i wasn't too hot about him when i started the game, which now i regret so bad because he's my precious little meow meow hands down. He has such a good arc!!!! I know in my case i just had a hard time because i cared for Juza right away and i was still so high on Summer's development i kept comparing Banri to Tenma and going "here's why Tenma is amazing and Banri is cringefail". But it lasted me until a bit before Banri sees the portraits, when he starts to be conflicted, after that i was all, oh wait i like that guy. And then the more content i saw of him the more i loved him and he became my fav Autumn Chara. (so if you want to ramble about him more you’re free to do so because i’m team i adore this guy. please do. you’re so right in what you say of him.)

But so i did expect people to have my experience - hard time in the beginning, then mellowing on him before the end of the Autumn Chapter. And it wasn't the case 😭😭😭😭 At least at the time, the Banri's takes were rancid. Like it was genuinely annoying at a point, you couldn't go anywhere without some Banri bashing fuckery, even after his initial arc, people just. really hated him. My most hated takes were that i saw so many people say Banri would bully Yuki or stuff implying they would have an antagonistic relationship and it's probably why i cling to Into the Night so much, like HELL you're going to twist one of my fav crosstroupe dynamic!!! I legit saw so many things reducing Banri to a menace and a bully, and if not that, talking about how much everyone in the dorm hated him, and it was really driving me insane then.

I remember once making a post about how i was so close to blacklist "Banri" because people didn't filter this bashing with tags so i was just ready to just, not see Banri anymore, but it was breaking my heart. But somehow after this post i got a few people coming back at me about how it annoyed them too and i saw some of those people make their own posts in a more. direct way. and after that i never saw Banri bashing again. My power (< absolutely not, coincidence at best i'm sure).

A lot of Banri bashing i saw back then were from "newcomers" in the sense that it was after the anime aired, and a lot of people were just coming in without knowing about the events. imo i think the events do help giving a better feel to Banri in general so the fact people were fresh from the anime might have skewed things. I remember a friend who was in that case, newcomer and all, only read the main story, didn't like Banri after reading the main story. Then, Main story act 2 came out and while they didn't read the events, they read the main story and they started liking Banri there (because he did develop so much since then)

And as a whole i'd say, by act 2 it must have died out a bit.

There's another chara who gets bashed a lot but. Act 2 stuff 😔. Unfortunately a chara i like a lot so this was my breaking point of "i'm not checking the tags anymore none of you know how to behave". I think it mellowed since then? and i know the chara is popular in the JPN fandom meanwhile.

else i've seen like, Tasuku having very little content from fans and a few people being mean to him when they talked about him, but it was a long time ago and i sure hope it died out. I don't think i'd say he's bashed, more that most folks don't have strong feelings about him and stopped just with a bitter taste over his anger toward Tsumugi in the first winter chap.

Now. About popularity, Winter is DEF NOT the most popular troupe. Pretty sure it plays between Autumn and Summer in term of popularity. That said it's not like any of the troupes are unpopular so any ramblings about each Troupe would be meet with pleased reactions from the fandom, so it is harder to gauge that but yeah.

Troupewise something i noticed is that i think Summer is the most popular in term of GROUP, while Autumn is the most popular in term of Individuals. So a lot of people liked Summer specifically for their dynamic and how each of those charas played out each other more than individually liking each of them, while for Autumn it was, they liked all of them strongly! not specifically for their dynamic, though of course it plays a part, but as individuals. I mention it because i think it was the key difference in rank up in why i think Summer plays were okay to rank up to while Autumn were a nightmare. (that said that can also be "blamed" on "fans gravitate around characters that have elements they have as well" or something which means Autumn fans were more likely to be competitive and stubborn in a way Summer were more mellow.)

Itaru is definitely the most popular character of the whole game, period. It's not even a competition at this point it's so funny. when the EN server was live, anytime Itaru had a rank up card was a bloodbath (< survivor of Kniroun ranking up at 0.2%. Didn't sleep normally for the whole duration of the event it was so much.).

By the end of the server things were dying out a bit but still in general you could get a vague idea of popularity by how wild the rankings could be. For instance the fact Tasuku's ranking was a breeze without even trying was indicative of how he's not that popular.

In general i've noticed, at the time at least, that Winter ranks up were rather easy. I've ranked up for a few of Summer and i didn't see much of a problem otherwise*. Spring was really chill unless Itaru was in rank up. Autumn was THE Bloodbath. There were Autumn Stans organziation all over, the appp SYSTEMATICALLY broke EVERYTIME Autumn was around, it was always much more challenging, so yeah man.

Misumi* is probably the one i'd consider the second most popular character of the game, pretty much.

(*The funny thing is that Misumi got his lead play very early in the server's history, and i know i ranked up for him then and i didn't think it was too hard. In retrospect i'm sure it has more to do with the fact the game didn't have as many people playing it, than it had to do with popularity, so my word on Summer not being a problem is based on weird stats)

A while ago, for the Taiwanese server, there was a special set of cards in term of popularity on this server. Itaru got a SSR, Masumi got a SR, and Misumi got a R.

Masumi is in a weird position because i'd say he's fairly unpopular in the EN server, while he's popular in the JPN and Taiwanese server. Honestly i'm assuming he's especially popular with the teen audience.

AND THE MOST TELLING PART:

The first Cross-troupe's play was involving the most popular character of each troupe, by a poll being made by the JPN server. The leads were Itaru and Banri, then Misumi as a secondary character and Tsumugi as a more support character.

Meaning at the time, this was the order of the 4 most popular characters of the game.

When the mixed troupe event came to the English server, i remember a poll circulating on tumblr and likely twitter as well, trying to see if the EN Server had different favorites. Itaru still came on top, Misumi followed closely afterward. For Autumn, it was Juza and Taichi that were on the top of the Autumn poll, not Banri, and for Winter, i think it was still Tsumugi but Homare was very close behind.

So that was the popularity at least back then, god knows opinions now.

I've seen Homare be extremely popular on tumblr for sure. I have no doubt in Juza's popularity as well.

I saw a lot of Taichi fan going "Taichi is underappreciated" but i saw so many of them i was kinda just thinking "bro i'm pretty sure Taichi is in the popular character squad by now" But i'm also on the other hand as i've once seen a post saying Hisoka was popular and it stunned me a moment going ????? because as a huge Hisoka stan i don't see it???? There's a few devoted fans, and he has a better fanbase in JPN server, but in EN server??? (I'm comparing the last rank up for Hisoka VS the last rank up for Taichi in my mind and i genuinely don't see it for instance) so i also think it's likely i have a "fav blindspot" where i just don't think people are vibing with the charas the way i'm vibing, just. exactly like what i'm talking about with the Taichi stans so.... (that said i also once was tagged in a post that was going "i don't think i've ever seen a Hisoka or Tasuku stan" and a friend just went @ icha come here. Schrodinger Hisoka who's both popular and unpopular depending on who you're asking. And Tasuku IS MY UNDERRATED MEOW MEOW)

I think i recall Tenma being popular for a time, and Yuki is well appreciated by everyone around here. Kazunari has a loud fanbase but i'm pretty sure the seiyuu thing was a huge blow to them and a lot of them got more quiet at the time.

And for what it's worth i do think there's a sizeable portion of the fandom that really like Tsuzuru, but i think it's just, something you get to see a lot when a huge part of the fandom is creatives. And to be completely fair, Clockwork Heart is the one event i had a massive burn out at and didn't pay attention to the rankings at all, so i can't tell if people went really wild about it. And the next Tsuzuru rank up event was literally the last event of the EN server and i'm sure it's not indicative of anything since a lot of folks just didn't want to bother. So unlike the others were i'm using rank up as a gauge of popularity i can't tell how Tsuzuru's might influence his.

SO YEAH that's for what i could pick up BACK THEN, as i remind, i didn't really look deeply into the fandom itself. I'm really good in my corner so it might not actually be indicative of the fandom trends and i'm maybe completely off base.

Then about how, i, personally, don't represent the fandom, unless the fandom changed since then: When i first liveblogged a3, it was when the server was new and no one was on tumblr about it, so i was a little unfiltered from people's opinions. when i came back about a year later to comment on act 2, getting all worked up, and running then into the growing fanbase on this website, is when i started to run into fan takes and everything.

And, let's be clear, i came back because i was crying very hard over Hisoka and Azuma and the full Winter Troupe, and Chikage, so i really came here with my Big Winter Boots only talking about Winter and then Spring.

I ended up getting a feel of what people were talking about a lot at that time, and kinda ended up talking more about what i considered my Underrated Gems.

For instance, i absolutely adore Itaru. I ranked up for him, i've bleed for him, i love the dude. But he's so popular i figured i legit had nothing to say about him that a hundred people wouldn't have been able to say before. So i've mostly didn't really talk about him much despite loving him a LOT because i just didn't think i had anything to say. (now in my current reread i'm doing it so disconnected from what i know of the fandom that i indulged in talking more about how much i like him LMAO)

Meanwhile, there's characters i love that i know the fandom don't talk about much so i end up talking about them more, and it's the case of Tasuku. I wouldn't be surprised Tasuku is really low on most people's popular list. I'm just Not Most People and you're going to hear me ramble about that hunk of a man every few days or so.

I've made my niche in the Winter Troupe appreciation gang and i'm pretty sure by now a lot of other Winter people follow me as a result because i couldn't shut the fuck up, so then my perception of the fanbase gets skewed because i just think of Them ahah.

And there is the fact i adore the rookies, mainly Chikage and Guy, but don't talk about them so much mostly because they came out later in the main story and i've been rereading act 1 so many times instead,,, and didn't talk much about act 2 in case some people managed to save themselves from being spoiled (like you!!)

So my personal perception of a3 is probably not reflecting the whole a3 fanbase really much. God the amount of times i talked my friends's ears off about Winter, that they kinda just humored me without thinking much about it, until they found out one of the More Popular Chara (Itaru, Tenma and the whole Autumn Troupe mostly) and suddenly they're like *twirls hair* heeyy Icha tell us more about a3. It's genuinely so funny to me.

and again i don't know perhaps i'm full of shit, and it's not like i've kept tabs on the fandom recently either!

But that is at least a bit of what i remember in term of popularity and what i can say is that i shouldn't be taken as an example of the fanbase's views in general.

I'm vibing in my corner, and by experience, it usually meant i ended up talking about more niche things, but since i'm disconnected from the fandom i'm pretty sure i still have opinions that are popular opinions. So who knows! not me!

So yeah that's all i can say about the popularity of the a3 fandom. Def not an indication of it by me.

Sooo, I decided to create my first fanfic here since I can't stop thinking about this oneeeeee....

It was a very exhausting day, which means it will be bad for humans especially they have to reserve some energy to the activities tomorrow. How I want to do many things today, consider pranking Lucifer again with Satan and Belphie hehehe. I looked at my D.D.D to check my AP: 34/75. Damn. I need to take a rest and relax!

I soon sneaked into Lucifer's room without him noticing...that's what I thought. I froze on my place when I heard him cleared his throat behind me. "What could be the possible reason why you are in my room sneaking like that?" He said, I gulped for second before standing straight and looking at him with an awkward smile as I fidget my fingers together in nervousness. "U-uhm... I aas uhhh wondering if..." I paused for a second, hesitating to tell him what I want to plan. He was looking at me, one eyebrow raised as his hands were still crossed, seems like waiting for me to continue my words. I took a long sigh before looking at him straight in the eyes as I confidently sat down his big ass bed which made him looked at me confused this time. "...This human is currently experiencing some stress and is exhausted by the activities that the RAD and Devildom itself. I need to provide some stressors to make sure I am doing well." I said, which made him chuckled as he moved towards me and is now currently standing in front of me. "...which means?" He asked, making me do a puppy eyes as I look at him.

"Could we have please have a night swimming just for once?" I asked, making him look at me as if his soul left his body as he process the words that left my lips. Maybe I was too much? Nah, I need to relax! "Pretty please?" I added, which made him this time smirked as he leaned forward close to my face, making it seems almost we are kissing which made my eyes widened on his sudden action. "...give me more reasons, I might consider it" He said, moving a bit far to make some space between us. I cleared my throat as I looked at him and smiled, "I wanna spend my time with my boyfriend too" I said, making him grin as he went towards the desk on his room before grabbing his D.D.D and started to call someone.

"Diavolo? Yes...would you like to join on a night swimming, if I am not bothering you....yes, mhhmm... that settles it then, see you later at 6 pm" He said, before the call was hanged. "Is that Diavolo?" I asked, making him smiled "What do you think?" He asked, making me giggle in excitement. "Oh my diavolo! I am so excited! Thank you Luci!" I said loudly as I hugged him which made us both fell on his bed out of balance and now I am cuddling him as we both laugh. "Well, I can't resist you, can't I?" He said, with his classic smirk which made me blush. "A-anyway, should I pack the things now? It's already 4pm...Oh! I'll tell the others too! Be right back!" I said, as I immediately jumped out of his bed and quickly left his room in excitement to tell the others about the good news.

~ Time Skip ~

"Well, it's strange of you to plan something like things, Lucifer. Afterall, all you do is to overwork yourself which is honestly a good idea to relax for a bit!" Said Diavolo said, making Lucifer sigh. "Honestly speaking, if it weren't for MC I would be still at my room finishing the other papers left" Lucifer said which made me look at him as I raise my eyebrow. "So you don't wanna have fun if we didnmt invite you?" I asked, making him chuckled. "Now now, princess." He said, making me looked away from him from blushing.

DID HE JUST CALL ME "PRINCESS?"

"Lmao, MC's blushing" Leviathan said next to Mammon who's sitting on the left side window of the van in the front. "I'll swear to kill you, Levi" I said, glaring at him which made him chuckled nervously as he went back on playing games again. This guy is really...

Anyway, we are now currently at the entrance of the private pool that Diavolo rented for us, Lucifer keeps insisting to just use Diavolo's private beach but then Diavolo ended up renting a luxury private pool to "explore" more places to relax. When the door finally opened, I was so mesmerized by how beautiful the place is despite of devildom being dark. "Wow, it seems like I'm back in celestial realm!" Luke said, which made Simeon smiled at Luke. The place was mesmerizing beautiful. On the left side is where the small house located where you can take a rest and cook, there is also a camp fire near it which could also be used later. On the right side is where the pool was located. It's rectangular in shape and there are two Jacuzzis near it too. The red-bricked path which leads the huge house (not a mansion, but it is huge) is where I think we will be staying. It is a second floor house with a balcony on the second floor. The doors are all glass sliding doors but with black tint, however the doors for the rooms are wooden.

Everything feels magical, like how the grasses and flowers perfectly balanced the cobblestone and the bricks. It was too beautiful to describe. "A-are we really staying here?" I asked, still looking around the place as we get out of the van and grabbed our things which made me hear Diavolo chuckled. "Yes, MC. Isn't wonderful?" He asked, making me look at him with sparkles in my eyes "Wonderful? It is more than that! This place is...too beautiful to even step a foot" I said, as I walked inside the huge mansion to explore more.

There are two bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room, and a kitchen in the first floor. On the second floor, there are also two bedrooms, a bathroom, and the balcony. "I could live here forever" I whispered to myself, before I decided to turn around when I bumped into someone. "Be careful not to bump on things...or someone" Said Lucifer, holding his things which made me smiled sheepishly at him. "Hehehe, uhm... well, where do I stay?" I asked him, making him smile. "You'll be sleeping with me, since the other room here consist of bunk beds — which are enough for my brothers" He said, making me nod my head as I look at the other room's door. "Shall we go inside?" He asked, making me nod my head. "Yes, we should, because I so excited to waste my time standing here doing nothing" I said, making him chuckled as we entered out room.

"Oh my goodness, that's a lot of food!" Asmodeus exclaimed, making Beel to salivate as he look at the table. We are now currently on the small house near the pool, as we decided to eat first before having fun. "Beel! Don't ya finish all the foods!" Mammon said, scolding his younger brother which made beel behaved like a child, sitting on his chair. "Now now, shall we dig in?" Diavolo asked, after the seeing the Angels and me done with our prayer silently. "These looks delicious!" I said, as I hesitated which to get first. "You made these barbatos?" I asked, making him smile "With the help of Lucifer and Simeon" He said, making me look at them three. "Damn, you three are husband material" I said as I giggle. "I could be your husband now if I proposed and married you right here, right now...do I?" Lucifer asked, a smirked can be seen on him which made me blush making them all laugh and teased me. "That was....wow bravo!" Asmodeus said, clapping his hands.

After eating and chatting, we all went to our own businesses and activities. The angels and solomon with Asmodeus decided to go to the jacuzzi. Diavolo was just chilling on the sunlounger... wait, there's no sun though... nevermind, I'll call it that! Ermm, so diavolo was just chilling on the sunlounger with barbatos beside him, reading a book...or a list, I don't know but it's a thick book. The other brothers except for Lucifer were all in the pool, playing something....and Lucifer, well, he's sitting on the pool, watching his brothers so I sat beside him.

"Hey hot oldie, why are you not joining them?" I asked, as he looked at me with a very not amused look which made me chuckled. "Hahaha, okay okay, sorry about that..." I said, making him smile as he look at his brothers again. "But I added hot on the oldie, would you consider it?" I asked, making him glare at me which made me chuckled, "okay okay, I'll stop" I said, before finally sitting in silence with him. "MC! Join us!" Beelzebub yelled, making me grin at him "Coming!" I said, before removing my robe which showed my fitted one piece, I noticed that the brothers and the others were staring at me, "Uhh... is there something wrong with me?" I asked, making the shook their heads in denial. "N-no! In fact, you look beautiful please be on my team" Mammon said, making me chuckled as I go to him, and his team. "Huh, watcha gonna do now that Mc's with us?" Mammon asked, which made the other teams (Leviathan, Beelzebub, and Satan) scoffed. "We still have Satan!" Leviathan said, as I look at Belphegor and Mammon.

After playing such exhausting game, I finally looked at them and suggested, "How about we play something fun..?" I asked, making them look at me confused. "What...kind of game?" Satan asked, making me smirked at them. "It's called Hero,Villains! The game is like... for example, I am the villain and whoever I touch will become one. However, the heroes could the same and whoever has the most members in their team wins, bet?" I asked, making them nod. "I wanna join!" Asmodeus, The angels, and Solomon said in synchronization. "We'll be joining as well" Barbatos said, as Diavolo and Him both went in the pool. I looked at Lucifer which made him sigh. "Come on brother, do not kill such fun plays!" Mammon yelled, making him look at me and I smiled at him. "Fine. But only in the first round" He said, making me swim towards him as I hugged him tightly. "Yeyyyy" I screamed in excitement making him smile widely.

And guess what? It's our 15 round yet Lucifer is still taking the game seriously which is hilarious and scary at the same time. His pride doesn't want him to be lose huh? As the we continue on playing the game, I noticed how Lucifer really took everything far making him almost knocked Mammon out which made me immediately blocked his way. "Lucifer, you're going too far!" I said, swimming towards Mammon who's being dragged towards the stairs of the pool. "What? You want me to join, I am joining" He said, clicking the inside of his cheeks which made me furious. "Playing doesn't need to be serious. That's why it is called playing because you are having fun. What you did to Mammon is not really good!" I said, half yelling at him making him scoffed as he swim back to the stairs, ignoring Mammon, Asmodeus, and Satan who is currently taking care of him.

Because of that, my blood boiled as I followed him. "WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM, LUCIFER?" I asked-yelled at him as we both enter the big house. He stopped walking for a second before turning to face me. "Why don't you continue your 'play' with them?" He asked, making me chuckled sarcastically, "Now you're being ridiculous! Say sorry to your brother!" I yelled, making him ignore me as he began walking upstairs. I clenched my fists as I watch him, before walking outside to see everyone at the table. "I'm sorry about that everyone. I know we should be relaxing today but... ugh, that asshole brother and friend of yours is making my blood boil" I said, making Diavolo sigh. "Let him relax for a minute and think about hid actions, I'm sure he will be feeling guilty about it" He said, before Luke started running towards me. "I'm glad he didn't hurt you physically! Or else I will be taking down that demon!" He said, making me chuckle. "Thank Luke, but I can do it by myself" I said, making Satan looked at me confused. "What do you mean by that?" He asked, making me smile.

"Don't worry, I won't be killing your dad, Satan" I said, making him glare at me as he rolled his eyes. "Whatever" he said, making me chuckled, "Well, I'll sleep in your guys room!" I said, making Barbatos looked at me, "Now, I am concerned about that" He said, making me smirked. "I'll be sleeping next to Mammon! If he still doesn't apologize though" I said, making the brothers cheered for I know they will be having fun more when I am with them. "I hope he doesn't apologize" Mammon said, making me looked at him which made him chuckled nervously, "Ha ha ha, I mean, yeah I hope he does" He said, scratching the back of his neck as he looked away.

I am now currently in the brother's room, laying down next to Mammon as we all listen to Asmodeus talk about this certain witch who keeps on following him and Mammon before when all of the sudden, the door starts to open making them look at the one who opened it but I didnmt because I know who it was. "Why are you there? I've been waiting for you to go to our roo--" I stopped him from talking when I snuggled on Mammon. "...I see you are not sleeping there" He said, before he was about to close the door when I turn around to face him. "If you don't apologize on Mammon, I will be sleeping with them all forever, not in your room nor mine" I said, making him sigh. "Well, if that's what you want, you won't convince me" He said in monotone, which sends shiver down my spine on his sudden tone. I let him closed the door and listened to a moment of silence in the room.

"I swear, I haven't seen someone stand up on Lucifer. You're so amazing!" Leviathan said, making me smiled at him but deep down inside of me, I regret not going with him to sleep in the room we are suppose to sleep. As I was listening to the stories of the brothers, I didn't notice that I fell asleep.

NO ONE'S POV

As everyone were already sleeping, (yes, even Leviathan, unbelievable right?) Lucifer was the only one who is awake as he was really thinking about his actions a while ago. He actually didn't mean on being too far a while ago: It was his jealousy that made him do it because MC keeps on sticking with Mammon that time. He doesn't want to believe himself how guilty he was because of his pride. However, he decided to walk inside the brother's room and the first thing he did was to look at Mammon...and MC who is cuddling him like he was her child.

He smiled at the thought of how protective MC is when it comes to them, even though she was a human and could possibly be in danger the most - He loved her about that. He actually thought that he was being childish a while ago, which made him cringe right now. Before any of them could caught him inside, he immediately leaned next on the bunkbed where Mammon & MC were sleeping before he apologized at them both. His pride didn't hurt his actions because no one is awake to hear what he said...and so he thought.

The minutes he left the room, MC opened her eyes with a smile on her lips. She carefully moved to get up on the bed and followed after Lucifer. When she opened the door, she saw Lucifer reading a book on the bed. "Luci...?" She asked, making him looked at her shocked. "What are you doing in this late?" He asked, before MC moved towards him and sat on the bed next to him. "You know... I can't sleep" She said, trying to hint that she heard everything that Lucifer said a while ago. Luckily, he got what she meant. "So you were up?" He asked, turning the page of the book, making her nod her head. "Thank you... thank you for doing that. Though you need to level up and apologize with them awake and not sleeping" She said, making him chuckled. "You know my pride cannot take that much risk, right?" He said, finally closing the book before setting it down on the bed table next to him before turning his head on Mc. "Risk? That's only simple, Luci. All you have to do is apologize sincerely like what you did a while ago...and also, do not get jealous on your brothers whenever I am with them. I actually barely hang out with them these days because of being busy" Mc said, making Lucifer sigh. "I know, that's why I know to myself how childish it was to get ma over something like that. It's hard to admit to myself that it was wrong...but I don't want you to be angry at me" He said, this time pulling her closer to his chest as he rested his chin above her head.

"I want you to properly apologize to Mammon, you know he's been treated really shit-ty though sometimes he deserves it...BUT, that's not the point here. I want to see you apologize in front of him, I don't care if you want it only you and him as long as he knew you were sorry" She said, making him sigh. "Will I get something afterwards?" He asked, making her chuckled. "You know, I like this side of you. Please sometimes loosen up like this and be yourself! And also, yes, I will give you kisses and hugs and my all full attention for a week, if that's not enough, then I'll also be giving you a free massage and girlfriend support whenever you feel down, that's free therapy right there!" She said with energy which made lucifer laugh, a real laugh because of her silliness and cuteness.

"I can't describe how much I love you" He said, before placing a kiss on her forehead making her giggle, "I love you too!".

This series already fills my inbox something fierce and this is a one-off that I allowed for during the request window.  If I have to make ideas for new gods while continuing a bunch of old MCs, it'll burn me out fast...

Demigod MC Series: Intro, Aphrodite, Hermes, Hades, Dionysus, Demeter, Athena, Hades Pt. 2

Diavolo

Oh, he has no problem at all hosting a child of the Underworld, hell he even throws them a welcome banquet when he finds out! Hades is a dear friend - and practically a parental figure to him growing up - so he's more than happy to take in one of his children for a year.

Diavolo is actually one of the few people that the MC can talk to about their home with any kind of fondness. Usually when they bring up things like the comforting wailing of the River Coctyus, the brothers will give them weird looks... but Diavolo knows where they're coming from!

He spent numerous summers in the Underworld growing up doing things like pestering Charon on the River Styx or playing games with Cerberus (the other one) in the Asphodel Meadows... His beach house is actually modeled after his childhood summer home in the Isles of Paradise! Really, it can be a lovely place if the gloom doesn't bother you!

So in the spirit of his fond memories, Diavolo really tried to make their time in the Devildom a fun one!... in his maybe trying a little too hard way…  

Poor MC found themselves offered pretty much everything under the moon… Tickets or exclusive passes to different cultural events/festivals, invitations to gala events, and tours of nearly every inch of Hell by the Prince himself - it was… it was a lot for the poor introverted thing…

It didn’t help that Diavolo would have a hard time gauging if they were having any fun due to their naturally melancholic nature, which only pushed him to try harder… He means well, he does. He’s just not the most in touch with what would make an anti-social doom child happy...

It took Barbatos and Lucifer stepping in for the mortal to actually start getting some much needed space and that improved their experience significantly. Sometimes less is more, Dia… Less is more. But they appreciate his efforts anyway.

Barbatos 

Also has a pretty amicable relationship with the Ruler of the Underworld, though his is much more professional compared to Diavolo’s. He actually has a good deal of appreciation for the man for taking good care of the Prince during his visits, so he sees this as an opportunity to return the favor.

Like Diavolo, he’s rather focused on making sure the MC is having a good stay in the Devildom, but he’s much more subtle about it. He’ll come by the House often to check up on them and make sure everything is to their liking... 

Even the brothers notice that he treats them like anothering visiting Lord/Lady in that way, which he would argue they very much are and should be respected as one. It’s the least the Devildom can offer their father at this point.

His visits may also be an excuse for keeping an eye on the brothers to make sure they don’t do anything to inconvenience their “young guest…” To be honest, the entire House is a little paranoid about that… Nobody wants to know the punishment for hurting MC if Barbs is the one dishing it out...

Apart from watching out for them, Barbatos tries to encourage the MC to accept the Young Lord’s gifts (while also actively advising Diavolo to go easier on them at the same time). It would be so disheartening to him if his Prince feels like he hasn’t offered them the best experience that he could… He’s sure they understand.

Any time that he invites the MC to tea, they usually end up talking about their father in some way. Barbs knows a surprising amount about the god… He’s been around about as long as Chronos - preceding the birth of Aether and Chaos themselves - so he has some stories to tell.

The MC did once ask him why he doesn’t just run everything if he’s really been around for so long... his answer was: “Kings and their kingdoms will rise and fall… Worlds upon worlds are born, then cease to be. But time is what brings about all changes… So, I think I’m perfectly content with the power I possess. Wouldn’t you be?” 

Annnd they never asked Barbs another question like that again… and people think death is scary… 

Simeon 

He was honestly a little worried for their new companion for quite a while… It’s not like there’s never any sadness in the Celestial Realm or anything, but they seem to have something else entirely…

He’s heard stories about the Underworld. He’s never been himself, that’s usually a job for the Seraphim due to the… dreary nature of the place - but he’s heard it would make the Devildom look downright festive…

If he were being honest, he had half expected the MC to be obsessed with skeletons, ghosts, and other elements of darkness but that wasn’t the case. They certainly knew a lot about those things, but they appeared to have a healthy interest in the afterlife in general, so they asked him a lot of questions about the Celestial Realm, angels, and how the souls of the blessed are treated up there… It was surprising to say the least.

Of course he did the same and, frankly, Simeon found it incredibly wasteful that so many Greek followers find themselves just wasting away in a field of nothing for so long… but that’s neither here nor there.

He was also surprised by how gentle of an influence the MC ended up being on Luke as well. He had always suspected that the little angel just needed a bridge between him and Devildom to start finding appreciation for it, and the MC fit that bill perfectly - nothing he was used to, but still approachable enough to make everything less frightening. He thanks them a great deal for that… but...

It’s just that… Well they’re just so… depressing sometimes…! He doesn’t want to blame them because it hardly seems like their fault! They’re a very kind person, it’s just an atmosphere around them… It brings him to tears if he isn’t careful…

He’s invited the MC to Purgatory Hall on multiple occasions to chat and try to make them smile… When they do, the gloom is dispelled - even just a little - and they’re a truly beautiful creature regardless. It’s just so unfortunate that their life brings so much sadness...

Even so, he actually likes the MC enough to consider basing a character on them if he ever wrote another book. Something about a gloomy but sweet protagonist at home in a world of darkness sounds appealing… doesn’t it?

Luke

He didn’t know how to feel about the MC when they met. At first, he actually thought they were just as unhappy as he was to be there due to how depressed they looked but when they told him that wasn't true, he was really confused...

The Devildom is a dark, brutish, and dangerous place. Why would anyone feel at home down here??

But… well… He would spend time with them at RAD between breaks (partially to help scare off their many, many demonic suitors) and it might be weird to say, but they really made the Devildom look beautiful… literally.

The world just looks better when they’re around! It’s really hard to describe because it’s not something you notice much until they leave, but when the MC is around everything looks more vibrant and inviting! The grass gets greener, flowers grow bigger, and butterflies/birds hover around wherever they are like they have their own gravity - the realm loves them!

It started getting hard for Luke to hang onto his disdain for the place when they made it look so appealing… And then they started talking to him about the Underworld and the creatures they’d befriended there… creatures a lot worse than any demons he’d seen there...

Like. If the MC can be good friends with a bunch of rude walking corpses, then he could probably make friends with a demon right? There’s nice ones… kind of… 

Beel. He can make friends with Beel.

Like Simeon, he does feel bad that they seem so sad all the time… but unlike the older angel, he’s a bit more understanding that this is just how they are and enjoys his time with them regardless. (It helps a lot that just being around this little bean of a boy can lift their spirits anyway).

And you know what’s even better for him? When Lord Diavolo gives the MC tickets to things that they don’t want to go to, sometimes they’ll invite him along or give them to him instead! 

He’s gone to the Devil’s Coast with MC and Simeon sooo many times by now and he loves it!! Maybe the Devildom isn’t so bad after all, I mean, it can be a lot of fun when you go to the right places, anyway.

Solomon

Oh, he finds them both deeply fascinating and utterly terrifying - so just his sort of test sub-er, person!

He kids (somewhat), Solomon isn’t that dumb/lacking in self-preservation instinct. Experimenting on a child of death in a land of the dead (even if it’s not their “home turf”) would be asking for trouble. They’d have more than enough ammunition to fight him off and if their father found out? Immortality wouldn’t even begin to save him...

That being said, questions aren’t necessarily experiments… and oh boy, does he have a lot of them.

If the MC isn’t being pestered by Diavolo or the brothers, then they’re probably having to put up with Solomon nipping at their heels trying to get them to use their powers or answer all sorts of “innocent” scientific questions…

“MC, reanimation of Greek dead requires a blood offering, correct? Do you have to sacrifice animals for that process or do you allow them to feast on your own?”

“MC, when you’re controlling a skeleton do you move the body as a whole or do you have to animate each individual bone due to their lack of ligaments?”

“Think fast!! Oh look, you just caught the skull of my good friend, Richard! Could you bring him back from that, or should I fetch the rest of him?” 🙂

They put up with it because, believe it or not, he’s not nearly the weirdest person they’ve ever met (a lot of crazy people drift in and out of the land of the dead…) and well… they’re a pretty lonely person too so it’s not like they have a lot of standards when it comes to friendships anyway.

But the second they breathe a word of this to Barbs or Diavolo, this boy is on his way to a royal restraining order… Where does he even get those skulls…?

How twisted would you say the imperial court trio is?

How should I answer this? Their relationship is a mess, but it's so beautiful and I love it! The reason I love it is that, before Akihito and Ibuki were introduced, I hated Yasuchika so much. If you have only started playing this game now, then you won't understand what I'm talking about. I'm talking about Yasuchika before the three characters were introduced.

You guys: "But gayuu, what's the difference?"

Me: "There's a big difference!"

I've been playing this game since Benkei's 1st birthday was announced. At that time Yasuchika was the main villain and he was so annoying!! Every time! Every time something nice happens, he just shows up to fuck UP everything! The war is happening between Yori and Yoshi---*BOOM* he shows up with dog demons to mess up everything. In Yoichi's story, he shows up with water demons, and the worst of all in Tamamo's story he turns Tamamo into a beast to use him against Yoshitsune and Yoritomo. Not to forget, even in Yoshitsune's route he wanted to kill Yoshino.

There was no reason given as to why he was doing this and that makes it even more annoying. It always looked like he was fighting for the Imperial court to bring down both the Shogunate and the Rebels. Every time he shows up I roll my eyes and would agree with Tamamo on how insufferable he is.

But that all changed. I don't know if this was intentional or accidental genius, but the thing that redeemed Yasuchika's character, for me, was the introduction of Akihito. If Akihito never existed, I would have still hated Yasuchika even if he had an abusive childhood. (And it's also the reason why I love Akihito so much!).

You guys: "Why Akihito? What's so cool about him?"

Me: "You guys still don't know their story? Okay, let me summarise again!"

Yasuchika was a special child. From a very young age, he has mastered several onmyoji spells and he can do things that most of the well-trained onmyojis cannot. He is also called the reincarnation of the famous and most powerful onmyoji Abe no Seimei. Due to this, Yasuchika has to undergo a 'training session' a.k.a torture under the then Abe family head. This took a toll on Yasuchika's mental health as he soon began to lose a sense of reality. That was when he met a ghost wandering around the Abe mansion at night. The ghost was none other than Akihito. Only Yasuchika was able to see Akihito and Akihito for some reason cannot leave the Abe mansion. This was because, in Akihito's lifetime, when his curse went out of control and started killing innocent people, many onmyojis joined hands to stop him. But just killing Akihito won't end the massacre because Akihito's body is the vessel for the curse and if that vessel is 'broken' then the curse will try and find another vessel. Therefore they had to put Akihito to sleep and his body was sealed in the deepest room of the Abe mansion.

After meeting the young Yasuchika, Akihito found how broken he was. So he decided to stay with him as long as he stayed in the mansion. Basically, he raised him. He taught him about various things like poetry, and different kinds of birds and flowers, which Yasuchika didn't know existed until Akihito taught him. In Yasuchika's painful every day, Akihito provided him the warmth of a loved one. He was someone he can actually enjoy with. This is the same for Akihito. They love each other so much that they're willing to give life for each other, even though they're not blood-related.

But one day, while they were playing with each other, a demon attacked the Abe mansion and brutally killed almost everyone. That demon was Ibuki. Ibuki wanted to see this child prodigy called Yasuchika with his own eyes. Yasuchika confronted Ibuki and tried to fight him. But, you know how strong Ibuki is, he just kept stomping Yasuchika over and over again till he fainted. Akihito comes to the rescue Yasuchika but Uh oh! Ibuki takes care of him too. Akihito, with what remaining power he had breaks the seal of his body and regains it. Ibuki found Akihito interesting so he decided to make a deal with Akihito because he wanted to see beautiful chaos.

After making a deal with Ibuki, Akihito decided to leave Yasuchika forever because he didn't want to involve Yasuchika with his business and wanted him to have a beautiful life. But Yasuchika wanted to be with Akihito, so he begged him to stay and promised that he would be more useful to him than Ibuki ever will. Thus Yasuchika worked hard to become a powerful onmyoji and became the Head of the Abe family at a very young age. Ibuki also stayed with them since then at their house, and even if he denies it, he started enjoying being with both of them. Yasuchika is his favorite child too (just adding that!). Ibuki in this trio brings a balance. He's like a mood-maker in this trio. Whenever Akihito and Yasuchika have an awkward moment, he would be the one to lighten the mood by harassing Yasuchika. Whenever these two idiots try to give up their lives for each other, Ibuki shows up to rescue both of them. It's like he found a family of his own to take care of. And Yasuchika, although he keeps saying that he hates Ibuki so much, he does have a sense of relief when Ibuki is around. He knows that if he isn't available at the moment when Akihito is in danger, Ibuki will surely come and rescue Akihito. So that's why he unconsciously also wants Ibuki to stay.

Honestly, if you remove any one of them from this trio it will be incomplete!

it’s canon he’s a thigh man lol, so if he ever sees you wearing an oversized shirt, especially one of his, with shorts, isagi will literally short circuit in real life.

he keeps his hand on your thigh when you guys cuddle that day, tracing patterns on your skin, or just squeezing it every now and then.

in general, though, isagi likes poking at and playing with them whenever they're out <3

once, isagi wanted you to do that trend on tiktok where he sits between your thighs and stuff, but he had no idea how to bring it up LOL

so, isagi just watched tiktoks of it in front of you and hoped eventually you would get the hint 🙄

isagi’s receiving love language is words of affirmation (also basically canon LOL) so, he really values the compliments you give him with his whole heart.

you could tell him how his hair looks nice in the morning, and isagi will think about it all day.

whether it be about how cute he is, or how talented of a player he is, isagi really is happiest when you praise him <3

speaking of soccer, isagi has this tendency to get lost in the moment and talk your head off about some soccer related tangent that probably makes no sense to you.

his eyes light up and his voice is just oozing with passion for what he does as he goes into detail about how he made this crazy goal at practice while you stare at him with the biggest heart eyes ever, adoring his dedication.

and of course when isagi realizes he was rambling, he apologizes profusely for “boring” you, like the gentleman he is.

but when you reassure him that he could never bore you and that you want nothing more than for him to go on, isagi begins to feels lightheaded due to his adoration for you <3

if you're the type to go all out when it supporting isagi at soccer- like make one of those corny signs, yell from the crowd, wear his spare jersey to games, isagi will physically have to withhold his heart from jumping out his chest.

he's a little embarrassed that you're doing all that for him, but the effort means soooo much to him.

and speaking of soccer, it would mean a lot to isagi if you not only supported him at games and stuff, but expressed an interest in learning more about soccer as a whole, too.

you know, learn a little more about the game on your own accord, ask him to teach you how to properly play, or even challenge him to a one on one, do stuff like that, and he’ll literally be head over heels for you. well, more than he already is.

(he always goes easy on you on your guys 1v1's and he thinks your efforts are adorable, no matter how much you may or may not suck)

he'd repay the effort and try to get interested in whatever your hobbies are!

also, you can get him to do almost anything if you pout and beg hard enough, you’re literally so hard to say no to in isagi’s eyes <3

isagi’s the type to not realize when other people are flirting with him LOL

he just thinks they’re being nice (unless they’re being straight up) and i don’t think he would really process it because he’s so focused on you romantically, if that makes sense.

once he realizes you’re jealous, isagi apologizes earnestly, reassuring you over and over again that you're everything he could ask for and that he would never intentionally try to hurt you and all that jazz.

although, i will admit, sometimes isagi’s kinda smug when you're jealous, especially when it’s over a dumb reason 👎

however, when he’s jealous i feel like it could go one of two ways-

on normal days, isagi would just stand there to “intimidate” the other person, maybe cough a little for emphasis until they go away lol.

but on days where he’s already mad/filled with adrenaline/or someone’s really not taking a hint and you’re visibly uncomfortable- oh boy, it’s like a switch flips in him.

has those same fiery eyes he has during the climax of a game. the energy he’s exuding is dead serious, and that alone is enough for the person bothering you to go away. not bad for a man that’s only 5’8 🥰

adding on, isagi doesn’t take any shit about you, ever. even if it’s from his friends. usually isagi’s very neutral and doesn’t actively try to start conflict, but there are some things he’ll always defend and you’re one of them.

isagi always listens/watches/reads/etc whatever you recommend him (on that note, please recommend him good anime because isagi’s out here willingly telling people his favorite anime is darling in the franxx), even if he doesn’t necessarily like it LOL

you could show isagi objectively, the worst song ever and he would be like “yeah, it was good babe!” (it was not)

also does the same thing when you bring him shopping with you, like he's absolutely NO HELP 😭

you could try on the ugliest sweater known to man and he’d like “you look nice 🙂” pls be honest isagi, you can say it’s hideous!!!!!!

but isagi’s also being somewhat truthful in his statement because he does genuinely think you look nice in everything <3

also loves when you wear his clothes- always feels a mixture between pride and slight shyness?

kinda lol idk but overall, isagi really is sooo happy you wanna show him off that much, especially when you're wearing something of his around his friends :')

he says “i love you” first, no doubt.

he’s a bit nervous when he does because he doesn’t know if you’ll reciprocate, but he really does love you and he feels like he physically can’t hold it in anymore.

“Lucifer.” You stood there by the bar trying to get the man’s attention.

Lucifer smiled in surprise, scoffing at the three men who had now shielded you behind them. It was now your turn to scoff, rolling your eyes at their defensive behavior before pulling them apart so you can get through. “Chill out you three, for fucks sake, I’m not in danger.”

“But-“ Sam tried to argue but you cut him off.

“Trust me, he’s not a threat. And if he was, you don’t want to fight him.”

“Well who are these three dashing gentlemen?” Lucifer quirked a brow as he eyed them all. “Ohh, what’s this? Terminator, Amenadiel 2.0, and Viktor Krum? Are they your little boy toys Hekate?”

Bucky, Zemo, and Sam were fuming as they all tried to charge again, but you held your arms out, smacking them aside. “Watch your mouth Lucifer. They’re my colleagues.”

“That’s never stopped anyone.” He took another sip.

“What’s your deal man?” Sam scowled.

“Well don’t be rude Hekate. Where’s the proper introduction?” Lucifer gestured as his eyes roamed over them.

You sighed before you started to introduce them to each other. “This is Sam, Bucky, and Zemo. Guys, this is-“

“Lucifer Morningstar.” He boasted, slightly bowing. “Pleasure to make your acquaintance.”

“Lucifer Morningstar?” Bucky cocked his head back as he did a double take.

“Yes, well I said that just now didn’t I.”

“As in the devil?” Sam smirked as if this was a joke. “Horns, tail, pitchfork, half goat devil?”

“You missed out the red cape and tights, but yes, I am the devil, the one and only, yours truly.” Lucifer replied with sarcasm as he was getting annoyed. “But seriously, what is it with the half goat thing. Is this in your realm as well?”

“Yeah.” You replied blandly.

“Ugh, fuck me. I’m never going to escape it.” He rolled his eyes as he chugged the glass down.

“Wait is he for real or is he just a screw loose?” Sam turned to you.

“Yes.”

“Which one is it?”

“Both.”

“She’s kidding right.” Sam muttered to Bucky.

“Don’t ask me Sam. I don’t have a clue about anything at this point.” Bucky shook his head.

“Don’t look at me like that Sam.” You rolled your eyes as Sam glared at you, upset about not knowing firsthand that you were taking them to the damn devil himself. “This isn’t some kind of college lecture where I write things on the board and you just take notes.”

“Well then.” Lucifer turned to you, giving you his full attention. “What exactly is this favor?”

“I need Mazekeen.”

“Desperate now are we?”

You rolled your eyes yet again, you were sure you’d end up cross eyed by the end of the day due to his antics. “I need her to watch over Athena for a while.”

“Ah yes. I forgot you had a little miscreant of your own. But why Maze? Can’t you use one of your own minions?”

“Well I can’t exactly have the empusas or harpies take care of her. Besides, Athena likes Maze.”

“Right. Wouldn’t want a blood sucking demon or a torturous she-bird near your little delinquent.” He turned to the other side of the bar. “Maze! Mazikeen!”

“I heard you once you know.” A dark haired woman stepped up to the bar, glaring at Lucifer before turning to you with surprise. “Hekate? Well hello gorgeous. I didn’t expect you.”

“Hi Maze.” You smiled at her. “How have you been?”

“Unbelievable.” Lucifer muttered. “She scowls at me but smiles at her.”

“Well I’m stuck with this guy so what do you think?” Maze leaned over the counter with a playful roll of her eyes before they landed on the men behind you as she licked her lips. “Ooh. I see you’ve brought dessert.”

Bucky, Sam, and Zemo looked at each other uneasily. Where the hell did you drag them to? Were you literally going to sell them off to Satan himself and leave them there? Was that your master plan all along?

“Uhhh they’re not on the menu. Sorry Maze, they’re my colleagues.”

“Boring isn’t she? Hekate needs you to take care of her little miscreant.” Lucifer interrupted.

“Athena? Really?” Maze’s eyes lit up.

“Just for some time Maze while I go take care of some things.”

“Hell yeah. I’m down. Anything to get away from this place and this asshole.” Maze jumped over the counter with a grin as Lucifer gave her an offended look. “Let me get my things.” You watched as she hurried up the stairs, leaving you and the rest with Lucifer.

“Sooo.” You heard Lucifer speak up, making you groan in annoyance. What now?

“Since we have some lovely time on your hands.” Lucifer slid up to Bucky, Sam, and Zemo with a sly smile and a dark, mischievous glint in his eyes. “Tell me, what is it you truly desire?”

You watched as the men became trapped in his gaze, their stern facial expressions falling as they became vulnerable, opening their mouths to speak of their deepest secret.

“Oh hell no. None of that shit.” You rolled your eyes as you snapped your fingers in their faces, breaking off Lucifer’s spell. Sam, Bucky, and Zemo shook their heads in confusion as they tried to process what the hell just happened.

“Ugh. You are no fun you know that.” Lucifer rolled his eyes at you. “You’re completely and utterly dull. I thought the detective was boring, then there’s you.”

“Hey, what the hell was that?” Sam raised his voice, upset about the weird hypnosis he just experienced.

“Just one of his stupid hoodoo voodoo staring bullshit.” You muttered.

“What’s that supposed to mean?” Bucky asked, getting more confused by the minute.

Once you had left the stuffy building, you were able to breathe better as you took in a big breath of the night air, feeling a little more at peace.

“Finally.” Sam spoke up with an irritated scowl on his face. “He was getting on my damn nerves. What a guy.”

“You’re telling me.” Bucky uttered, his posture was more relaxed now, now that he was away from the large crowd and away from Lucifer.

“Did you expect anything different?” Zemo tilted his head. “He is the devil, as y/n briefly mentioned.”

“About that.” Sam turned to you with a scolding look. “We need to talk.”

“Not now Sam.” You silenced him before turning to Maze. “Okay there’s going to be some ground rules. First off, no parties.”

“Yeah I know.” Maze rolled her eyes.

“Hang on. I’m not finished. No drinking, Athena does not need to be seeing that. Absolutely no men over of any kind, because that’s just gross. I have plenty of food in the fridge and in my garden. Also here’s some money for takeout if you want it. And-“

But you had hope, because Athena was the last favor of kindness that was offered to you, and you weren’t going to let her go. You were a new transferred student who happens to be best friends with his own friend, Lucas.

“Why didn’t you tell me about your major?” You asked while pressing the ‘on’ button of your laptop.

“You never asked.” Kun playfully answered and you softly punched him on the shoulder.

After that, the class started. Two long hours and Kun couldn’t be more surprised by you.

Since you were new, the teacher had his target on you. He asked a lot of question to you to see if you were capable of answering, which you did gaining a good response from the teacher.

Kun knew you were smart. At the reunion everytime you spoke you did it with such a smart input, like you had all of the right words.

“We have free class right now, so... vending machine?” He asked and you nodded.

Weeks went by like that. You and him spending most of the time together.

You study with him, eat with him, laugh with him.

The boys were surprised that at this point you and him haven’t kissed at least.

“Not even a tiny peck?” Ten pinched his fingers together while asking.

Kun shook his head and the boys groaned.

Sicheng gasped.

“Are you dumb?”

“Not even close, why?”

“There’s no time for jokes!” Sicheng’s dramatic voice appeared. “trust me with this dude, she likes you.”

Kun sighed and rubbed his eyes with his knuckles.

“Y/N is way out of my league.”

“How come your roommate is never here?”

“Uh, Wendy usually sleeps at his boyfriends.” You answered while searching a show to watch on netflix.

You decided to lay your head on his shoulder and he decided to place his on top of yours. You decided on watching Twilight again and he groaned making you poke fun at him.

“Again? We’ve watch this like a million times!” He expressed his annoyance.

“And? It’s good so shut it.”

The movie began, it was making him sleepy. He could tell you the whole scrip even in his sleep. That’s so many times you’ve made him watch it with you.

“Are you tired?” You asked and took your head off his shoulder to look at him.

“Yeah, I was busy so I forgot about the essay Ms. Kang gave us, I finished it up in one night.”

His ‘busy’ meant going with you to this art exposition about candy in which they were selling a giant gummy bear, he got you the yellow one and he couldn’t forget they way your face lit up with happiness when he gave it to you after a few days.

“Why don’t you sleep here? You can have my bed and I’ll sleep in Wendy’s”

He nodded at your proposal and sighed. Too tired to even say anything. He was about to continue watching the movie but he couldn’t keep his eyes off your lips. Shinning bright because of the grenade chapstick he gifted you the other day.

The conversation he had with the boys kept on replaying on his mind.

He pressed his lips against yours. You let out a tiny gasp in surprise but soon after decided to relax.

You tilted your head to the side so you could return his kiss while placing your hand on his cheek. It was a quick kiss but the softness and love was there, and it made you feel for the very first time, full of love.

“I’m in love with you.�� He said in a whisper.

You caressed his skin with your fingers, admiring his features under the artificial light that came from the TV.

You couldn’t think straight. Too in love with the idea of love. So instead of saying anything, you took him by the back of his neck and drew him close to you, reconnecting your lips with his.

"YOU LOOK SOOO GOOD," Sasha squeals as you show her your outfit, making your confidence boost significantly.

"YOU TOO, YOU'RE SO HOT FOR NO REASON!" You both keep showering each other with confidence, not caring if your neighbors could hear you shouting.

You don't understand why you're suddenly filled with anticipation to go to some frat house that would be filled with strangers and smell like alcohol and weed, but you not troubled enough to even question it. All you know is that this is your first party as a freshman, and you want to make the most out of it with your best friend.

"So, who's going that you know anyways?" You glance at Sasha through your mirror as you apply lip gloss.

"Too many to count honestly and not to alarm you or anything but Jean will be there too." Sasha reluctantly spoke as you feel your heart drop to your stomach.

You completely forgot that Jean was a part of Sasha's friend group and now you're going to see him for the very first time since your breakup.

"Y/n?" Sasha waves her hand in front of your face and snaps you out of your deep thoughts.

"Sorry, but thanks for telling me." You shake your head as you try to not lose your train of thought again.

You and Sasha finish up on your final touches and make your way to the party as you feel your stomach flipping and hands slightly shake. Every time you start to tell yourself that Jean was just a friend now, you get flashbacks of everything you did as a couple, but you're going to let some guy ruin your first night out in college.

It doesn't take long to arrive and fuck, it didn't take long for the feelings of regret, nervousness, and panic to sink in. When you first arrive, people were already drunk in the front yard as couples made out the staircase leading to the front door. Immediately when opening the door, the bass from the speakers maakes your whole body vibrate with the music and your eyes strain from all the lights that were being cast across the house.

The whole place is already trashed with cups, plates, and different articles of clothing are scattered across the floor. You've always heard about how wild college parties can be, but you didn't expect something as crazed as this.

You turn to Sasha and see her talking to you but could only read her lips that make out, "I'm... drink," and walk away to the kitchen.

Well, shit.

You awkwardly stand in the middle of the room, not recognizing a single person until you feel a hand clasp your shoulder and pull you to a corner.

"Heya, gorgeousss, name's Flochhh..." A drunk man with auburn hair presses you against the wall as he tries to make conversation with you.

"S-Sorry, but I have to go." You try to get away from him only to have your arm get pulled back to the wall.

"Get your hands off of her." You and Floch turn and see Armin, but this time with slightly smudged eyeliner with a long black sleeve that's complemented with a necklace and silver rings on both of his hands.

"Huhhh-," Floch slurs, finally letting go of you and confronting Armin.

Armin takes a step back with his hands in his pockets, not wanting to cause any issues, and lightly asserts, "This is my lovely girlfriend, so I would appreciate it if you would just back off, that's all."

Armin walkes up to you and wraps his arm around your waist as Floch's face becomes filled with complete disgust.

"So if you'll excuse us, we'll be getting out of your way so you can get as shitfaced as you like." He smirks at Floch and pulls you away, his hand still clutching your waist.

As he takes you away, you immediately notice how his arm feels so natural around you, like it was meant to be there which causes your heartbeat to quicken.

You only see him as the boy you went on an awkward date with, why did he suddenly make you feel this way?

"Thank you for your help, Armin." You bring your hand to the one that was resting on your waist and squeeze it to show your gratitude.

"I was only doing the bare minimum, no need to thank me." He tenderly looks into your eyes with compassion, not aware that he never let go of your waist.

"Well, what were you doing here anyway, you didn't catch me as the party type." You playfully joke as he grabs your arm and enters a large crowd that's dancing to music.

He turns to face you and tilts his head towards your ear to answer, "I heard you were coming, and I wanted to talk to you."

He grabs you by the waist and starts moving to the beat of the song to follow along with everyone surrounding you.

You feel your face start to heat up, finding it so attractive the way he leaned in to talk to you. He's a completely different person from the guy you went out with. This time he seems so much more confident by the way he holds you, speaks to you, and his fashion did a complete 180.

"Well, what's up?" You gain enough courage to wrap your arms around his neck and move your body with his.

You both move completely in sync forgetting for a second that you weren't the only two people in the room. You feel yourself start to get more butterflies as he maintains eye contact with you and slowly pulls you closer and closer. Before you know it, you have the biggest smile on your face as you have the time of your life with Armin.

This is what you've been missing out on, while you had been locked up in your dorm, exhausting yourself with no sign of ending. While Sasha's the one who made you come out of your comfort zone, Armin's the one who making you enjoy yourself the most and you love the idea of that. You love knowing that there's a person who could actually make you a better person and still make you feel comfortable while being alone with him.

"I don't really know how to explain this, but-"

"Y/N!!" Sasha pushes her way into the crowd and finds you and Armin with your bodies only centimeters apart, but seemingly didn't notice the tension between the two of you.

"Armin, I told you to find her and come to the game room!" She scolds Armin and pulls him away from you, making you feel a bit upset that you're not able to be alone with him a bit longer.

She takes you and Armin to another room that you assume were their friends because as soon as they enter, they're greeted with open arms. You immediately notice a small blonde girl and a tall brunette with freckles sitting together on a love seat and you have to admit that they make such a great couple. Sasha introduces you to everyone in the room and while it was pretty packed, it's easy to memorize who everyone is given that Sasha has mentioned them many times before.

Before you had the chance to settle in with everyone you see Connie get out of his seat and clear his throat very loudly to make an announcement.

"I think that it's only fair, since y/n is the newbie of the group, to play a 2v2 intense game of beer pong between me and Jean." Connie widely grins as everyone agrees and starts rioting.

"I heard my name." Jean abruptly enters, at first not noticing that you're in the same room.

"Well, I don't have a partner to play with so-" You feel a bit of shame while speaking but are quickly interrupted.

"I'll play with y/n," Armin speaks up and everyone gets louder, becoming enraptured as if this is the biggest game in history.

"Let's fucking go then." Jean locks eyes with you for a split second before talking to Connie.

You have to admit, while Jean looks like he's taking good care of himself, you don't feel the butterflies and tension that you thought you would. Maybe you're just overthinking everything because he's your first love, but you figure that maybe something would be left for him. You look back at Jean making sure you don't feel anything, but when you turn to face Armin. Butterflies. Even if it was just a tiny bit, something was there.

For him.

"You guys got this, I mean no offense to the other two, but they're either high, tipsy, or a bit of both." Eren walks up to you two as he chuckles and rubs the back of his neck.

"I've never played this before, so we'll see." You look down, afraid that Eren or Armin would judge you in some way.

"Neither has Armin, he always watches other people play, but I'm pretty surprised he volunteered himself. So, I'm guessing that your first date went pretty well today." Eren playfully nudges Armin as his face turns into a very light pink.

"Um, yeah it was pretty alright," You reply and smile at Armin, even though you both knew that your date was anything but 'alright'.

"Okay, it's set up, you guys can start whenever," Mikasa speaks with a complete monotone voice as she takes a seat back down next to Historia and Ymir.

You and Armin walk to your side of the table as Connie and Jean do the same, while everyone stands around the two teams ready to start their ear-piercing shouts. You start to feel a bit of pressure right before the game started, anxious that you'll make yourself look like a fool if you don't at least make a single cup.

"We'll give Armin the first shot." Connie cockily smirks and bounces the ping pong ball across the table.

Armin grabs the ball with his fingertips and starts calculating the way he would throw the ball. You have to admit, he looked absolutely adorable while concentrating on making it into the cup. You figure that maybe he thinks the same as you, not wanting to embarrass himself, but he looks so relaxed at the same time. After a few more seconds of critical thinking, he carefully throws the ball and makes it perfectly into the middle cup.

Expectedly, everyone starts screaming, jumping up and down, while some people grab Armin and shake him profusely as their excitement shoots through the roof. You can't help but feel thrilled for him as well, and right when his friends get their hands off of Armin, you wrap your arm around his neck and bring him in for a tight hug. You immediately pull away, unsure if he's uncomfortable being hugged by someone he barely knows, but when you take a step back you see his eyes light up with a small smile.

"Cut it out, love birds. It's my shot," Jean shoots Armin a snarky look and chugs the shot. He wasn't concentrating as much as Armin was, probably because he's played this game many times before, and to your surprise, he recklessly tosses the ball and makes a spiral dunk into the cup at the front of the formation.

"GOOD SHIT, JEAN!" Connie aggressively smacks Jean's back, causing him to jump forward and knock down two cups in the back row.

"Are you fucking kidding me, Connie?" Jean hits the back of Connie's head and they both drink whatever liquid was left in the cup and takes them out of the formation.

You look at the cup that has the ball in and right when you're about to take the shot, Armin swiftly takes it out of your grasp and drinks it as if it's water.

At this point, everyone was making fun of Connie's fuck up and cheering on Armin for chugging the shot like nothing while you're panicking in your thoughts, begging yourself not to make a foot out of yourself.

"Here." Armin hands you the ball and you feel your anxiety kick in as everyone's focus goes directly to you.

You feel your fingertips lightly quiver as you begin to aim the ball into the last cup in the back. Predictably, the ball hits the rim of the cup and doesn't make it in, but Armin still whispers to you a few words of encouragement as Marco picks up the ball from the floor and hands it to Connie. The game continues and luckily you and Armin win because of the two cups Jean knocked down, so while you and Armin are a bit tipsy, the others are completely plastered.

"This... nngh - bullshizz..." Connie clumsily walks over to you and hooks his arm around your neck, somewhat pulling you down while speaking to you.

"Alright, enough." Armin pulls Connie's arm away from you and takes you out of the room, before getting the chance to say bye to anyone.

"Armin-" He leads you to an empty room and doesn't hesitate to lock the door behind him.

"Please, let me talk, I've been waiting all night." Armin pulls you to the edge of the bed and slowly sits down as he tries to figure out how to come out with his news. You gently place your hand on top of his and give it a gentle squeeze, reassuring him.

While you did have a feeling about what he'a going to say, you don't want to jinx anything too good to be true. Even though when you first met Armin it wasn't the greatest first impression, spending time with him at the party made you realize that he's so much more than the awkward guy you went out with. You don't understand how your feelings for him switched up so fast in a matter of a day, but you don't care. At this point, Jean's completely out of the picture and something in you is telling yourself that there's something really special about Armin.

“So, um basically I just want to apologize for everything that happened earlier at the café. I-It’s just that you’re the first girl I’ve ever taken out and I didn’t want to fuck up, but I did absolutely everything wrong. It didn’t help how Sasha was talking so highly of you and god, when I saw your pictures, I thought you were the most perfect person I ever laid my eyes on. Then when I saw you, something in me just clicked that you were meant to be mine and I’m not one to believe in that love at first sight bullshit, so I didn’t know what to do. I just nervous and I didn't know what to do. I knew you were and still are way out of my league even though I felt like you were my person, but I didn't want to mess it up, so I tried to be distant to make it go away and I realized how fucking stupid that was. I'm so sorry for wasting your time and I was hoping we could have a second chance at a first date again to make it up to you." He has such a pained but relieved look on his face when he finishes talking, not looking at you, afraid that he may have done something that he would regret.

"I would actually love that, Armin." You exchange smiles and both stare at each other for a second in comfortable silence.

"Well, let's go then."He stands up and brings out his hand to yours.

"Wait what?" You give him a confused look as you place your hand in his and get up from the bed.

"Are you tired or something?" He furrows his eyebrows with a bit of a pouty face.

"No, not at all." You intertwine your fingers with his and make your way out of the frat house, forgetting say goodbye to anyone.

"So, where are you taking me so late at night?" You ask and turn to look at him to see a small smile plaster on his face.

"I was hoping I could take you back to my apartment to make us a proper meal after all that partying." You feel your heart pounding against your chest as he has the most genuine look in his eyes.

This takes place after the second class trial

You have had your eye on Gundham since you've all arrived at the island. Ever since the free times you've had, you always spent them with Gundham. If not Gunham, then Kazuichi, which made Kazuichi a bit upset since all I did was talk about Gundham, and Kazuichi wasn't really fond of him. Since the killings have started to happen, you've only grown closer to him and his 'Dark Devas of Destruction'. This wasn't the best for your heart, many times you thought it would explode when you were close to Gundham.

You see, you'd love to confess to Gundham, but you weren't entirely sure if he was into guys even in the slightest. You could just walk up to him and ask "Hey are you gay? Bi maybe?", but that is too straightforward and weird. So you settled on just keeping these feelings to yourself and just being a close friend of his. That is until Chiaki caught on to me.

It was a cool morning and everyone was either waking up or already heading to the restaurant. You had barely got out of your cottage before Chiaki got in your face.

"Hey, (Y/N). Can I ask you something? In private...", you hated that term, 'in private'. It usually meant that something bad was going to happen, but you trusted that Chiaki wouldn't say or do anything weird.

"Uhm... Sure. Come in" I moved aside so Chiaki could enter. She immediately cornered me. "Do you like Gundham?" She seemed so confident in the question. I was shocked and frozen, I studdered before I even got out a comprehensive sentence. "Whawhawahaa?! How... How did you know? Am I that obvious..?" She backed off with a soft smile. "No, it took me a while to figure it out. Your really good at hiding your romantic feelings. Anyway, Akane and I want to help you and Gundham get together."

"Thanks, Chiaki, but how are you two gonna do that??" There's no way that they could set us up, right? Dumb question. "Akane already found out Gundham is bisexual, but he only likes people he's known for a while and is close to, so you definitely have a chance with him. All I need to do now is convince him to go to the beach with you." What "Wait wait wait, how did you find out he's bi?" "Akane just asked and he was fine with answering" Of course they just asked.

"We can have you and Gundham meeting up at night and Akane and I could set up some lights in the sand and a picnic" Chiaki looked up as she was thinking out loud. "But what about Monomuka? We aren't allowed to be out of the hotel resort after 10 pm." She just smiled, "I'll appeal. He enjoys teen romance so there's a good chance that he'll let us all be out after the curfew", "How do you know he likes teen rom-", "That's not important right now, meet with Gundham at the beach around 10:30 pm." She seemed so determined. I agreed and we both made our way to the restaurant together

Of course, we were a little late. Gundham was the first to notice us, I think he was staring at the door... "The rest of the mortals are here." God his voice was hot. Kazuichi looked over at us "Finally! Gundham and Akane were about to go looking for you guys!" Man, did we take that long? oh. my. god. What the FUCK is that? I was about to say something before I saw this hideous tribute to our recently deceased friend, Mahiru. I was going to say something rude about it before Hajime grabbed my attention. He was signaling for me to be nice about it and that Hiyoko made it. I spoke with an unsure voice "Wooww that looks so coolll. Whoever made that is verryyy talented.". Hiyoko seemed to be satisfied with it. Good because that's all I got in me.

I made my way over to a table so I can eat. Gundham glanced over at me and continued to eat at his own table. It was a quiet morning, everyone must have still been tired. After we had all finished and left, I went to the supermarket to get some sunflower seeds for Gundham. Yesterday he helped me with a cow attack at the barn, so I wanna try to pay him back. It was a good thing he was looking for me anyway.

I still had some free time after I came back from getting the sunflower seeds. I decided to look for Gundham since I knew he was free most of the time. When I finally found him he was talking with Chiaki and Akane at Jaberwok Park, they must be talking to him about going to the beach with me. That also means I need to find someone else to talk to, I get really bored if I'm by myself for too long. I could either look for Kazuichi and look for things he can take apart or just go annoy Fuyuhiko. I'll look for Kazu, I don't feel like hearing boss baby yell at me.

I walked to the 3rd island and was on my way to Electric Ave. since that's become Kazu's new hangout. When I got there he was already digging around looking for anything to fidget with. Kazu is a nervous guy, so I understand if he wants something to with his hands constantly.

"Hey, Kazo! What 'cha lookin for today?" I asked as I leaned over his shoulder to see what he's grabbing. "Anything really. Although it would be nice to find something to corrode the cameras that Monokuma put everywhere. Hey, have you seen some yellow wires anywhere?" He stopped whatever he was doing to look at me. "No, but I think I saw some orange ones by the old game consoles", I pointed to the pile not too far away from me. "No no no, It has to be yellow, orange won't work with my current project." He went back to rummaging. "What are you working on?" I turned my head to the side, it's a bad habit. "I'm trying to make a phone, so we can call someone or something. At least be able to play some mobile games so I'm not so bored all the time." He was still digging around.

"Ok then, see ya! I'm gonna go find Chiaki or Akane, whoever comes first." I said turning away. All I heard was a very faint 'bye' from Kazuichi, he probably wasn't listening. Oh well, at least he said bye. I walked back to the resort where our cottages are. I must have lost at least 30 pounds from all the walking between islands. As I was walking past the farm, I saw Akane. I walked up to her to ask about Gundham and if he was going to the beach. "Heyyyy Akaneeee!" I tried to strike up a conversation since I'm not very good at it. "Oh, what's up (Y/N)?" She definitely knows how to match someones energy. "Sooo what did Gundham say?" I asked, slightly bouncing from excitement. Akane just deadpans "What?". "About the beach! What did Gundham say about going to the beach with me?". "OOOHHH, he said he'll go with ya, but you have to not force him to swim with you. Something about him poisoning the water from his skin? I don't really know, I wasn't really listening". "Oh, that's fine! I won't force him!" I beamed.

"By the way, he said he wants to talk to you about something. He's at his cottage if you wanna talk to him right now." Akane seemed to not be interested in anything she's saying. She probably agreed to help Chiaki only because she was bored. "OK! Thank you, byeee!" I turned around and hightailed out of the barn.

As I was making my way towards the resort gate, I heard Sonia scream at the supermarket. I left the gates and started booking towards the market. When I finally got there, I didn't see her anywhere. I started calling out to her and poking around every crevice of the store. When I finally found her, she was just standing in the back, perfectly fine from what I could see. "Sonia oh my god! What happened? I heard you scream, are you ok?" I was panting from the running and looking. She looked at me with a pang of guilt in her eyes. "I am sorry for scaring you (Y/N), but thank you for taking the time to find me." She looked down at her shoes. "Well yea of course, but why did you scream?" I tilted my head to the side again. "I am terribly sorry (Y/N), but I have a kingdom to lead and I need to get back, I'm sure you understand. Right?" She slowly started walking towards me. I saw a screwdriver in her hand, It looks like....Kazuichi's! How did she even get his screwdriver? Oh what am I thinking, she probably just asked for it while batting her lashes and Kazuichi just gave it to her.

I started to walk backward until I was fully against the door. I quickly started to feel for a handle and scrambled out, back to the isles. As I was running towards the door, I felt a stabbing pain at the back of my head. After, my body felt numb, as if I couldn't control it. I fell. The last thing I heard was the door opening, it was Gundham. "Hello? I heard a scream so- (Y/N)!!" I really hope he finds the sunflower seeds in my pocket. At least the last thing I saw was Gundham.
